We had an excellent experience staying at the Sunrise Hotel in Alexandria! Our group accommodation was perfect — the rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with beautiful views and all the amenities we needed. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with a smile. They made sure our group felt at home throughout our stay. The location is great too — close to the beach and many local attractions, which made exploring Alexandria easy and enjoyable. We also appreciated the delicious breakfast and the relaxing atmosphere of the hotel. Everything was well organized, and we felt safe and cared for during our entire visit. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Alexandria, whether for a family trip, a group tour, or a relaxing getaway. We would definitely come back again!

The food was delicious with a great variety every day. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the whole atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. Truly one of the best stays ever — highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect holiday!

We came to Sunrise Alex Avenue on a family trip with a group of 6 people. The service, staff and amenities definitely exceeded our expectations. During the stay, it was my husband’s birthday and the hotel staff brought over a cake for all of us to share and celebrate. It was very thoughtful, and the cake was delicious. The hotel rooms were very spacious and clean. The turn down service was fantastic and even created fun towel designs which was a nice touch. We ate both at the restaurants (Elia and Nasaya) and also ordered room service. The food was high quality, super tasty and very generous servings. When we got room service, it was still served and presented in a way that it felt like a high-end restaurant. The juices on offer were very fresh and daily breakfast buffet was full of so many options that we all went back for seconds. The private beach had beautiful and calm clear blue water. The lifeguards on duty even helped us move the chairs and towels into the shade as the sun moved throughout the day. This was our first trip to Egypt, and first time in Alexandria, and it was one of the best trips we have been on as a family. I would highly recommend Sunrise Alex Avenue to everyone and I will definitely come back again.

Everything was perfect in this hotel. I would definitely be back at this hotel if i come back to Alexandria. Staff were amazing and hospitable. We did halfboard so we got to do dinner and breakfast. Dinner was in a restaurant with a set menu but food was delicious and plenty. Breakfast was a buffet with plenty to choose from. You can't leave hungry here. Was an awesome place, clean, beach is awesome, rooms great.

We were so impressed with our stay. The reception was very welcoming and accommodating. Everyone is very friendly. Our room was ready early, was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast exceeded expectations. A full hot buffet! Restaurant staff were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure we were well cared for. Can’t say enough.

We stayed 4 nights at the Windsor and loved the classic ambiance of the famous old hotel. We opted for a jr suite with direct sea view and view is stunning - at very least, get a direct sea view - worth the price! Also, the hotel is in a good location for getting around the city.The staff at the hotel was very professional and helpful and saw to our every need. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant where they serve a large breakfast buffet and a restaurant which serves from 11 am to 1 am. The restaurant food was delicious! Great greeting at reception by Reem and her colleague , shown around and everything explained. Staff throughout the hotel were top class. The rooms were extremely comfortable with a modern bathroom. The Blue Harbour restaurant was terrific , amazing views from the terrace , exceptional service , very good food (albeit more Mediterranean than Egyptian) . Great for just a drink too and not expensive. Quite busy with non residents and female groups so a nice atmosphere. The breakfast buffet was superb and with huge variety (maybe more fresh fruit ?)

I had a wonderful stay for one night, staff as usual were very friendly and accommodating.The room was spotless and comfortable.The breakfast buffet was amazing! So many delicious options, in addition to the perfect location, enable exploring the city. I loved the atmosphere and amenities. I will definitely come back again. I had a wonderful stay at this charming vintage hotel in Alexandria. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. My room was impressively spacious, with a beautiful view that made mornings truly enjoyable. The rooftop is a gem — the perfect place to relax and take in the city’s unique vibe. Food quality was excellent, fresh and flavorful, adding to the overall experience.

What a treat to have stayed in the Omar El Sharief junior suite at the Windsor Palace. Not only a historical building but a historical room with two sets of windows looking out at the sea. The room itself was expansive. It was comfortable and clean. Good water pressure in the shower. Amazing breakfast in their beautiful rooftop restaurant with an array of veggie friendly choices. Friendly staff.

Le Metropole was fantastic - it's hard to choose between the view from Sky View restaurant and the amazingly friendly staff for what's best. The old world charm is just lovely. I had the breakfast and light dinner. Breakfast was fresh and great for veggies. The light dinner was wine and canapes. The Sky View restaurant has the best views and really good food. And did I mention the staff???? Fanstastic. Bed was incredibly comfy too. And a walk down the corniche was a great way to spend the afternoon after a morning at the world-class library.

The hotel has a great feel, with plenty of grand old world charm. Very good staff, always friendly and attentive. The room was super spacious and the beds very comfortable. Although the hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of town and (being Egypt) it is quite noisy, the room was quiet, and the shutters and curtains blocked out any light. The buffet breakfast is excellent, served on the rooftop terrace restaurant with fantastic views. The terrace was our go-to at any time of day, for a drink or meal. We liked the hotel so much that we extended our stay in Alexandria.

It is a beautiful hotel with a long history and an old warm charm, that enhances the experience of visiting Alexandria. The location is excellent, prime spot on the Corniche with a superb view to the sea and the citadel, and at the same time right in the center of things, walking distance from all major sights, restaurants and nightlife. The staff is top notch, super friendly and polite, and available 24/7 for everything you might need. Special shout out to our room attendant Rachep that kept our room sparkling clean and treated us with little chocolates left on the bed. The beds are dreamy, so comfortable and huge in size. The breakfast is delicious, with a big variety of both Egyptian and European staples, and fresh eggs cooked on the spot to your liking. Plus it is served until 11 am on the rooftop, with an unbeatable view to the sea and the city, such a great way to start each day. We cannot recommend Le Metropole enough. Can't wait to come back.

I love everything in that hotel, all the hotel atmosphere is exceptional, and the staff starting from the reception, and Tatiana welcome more than required, the hotel takes u back to the past, feeling a special vacation. Sky Roof has an amazing view, breakfast is really tasty, Menna is very helpful and all the restaurant staff. Also at night, the vibes were amazing with the singer. Thanks to all the staff there for making our vacation special. Just hope to improve some issues like the light dinner, cause it was law than our expectations, and the hotel will rock. Hopefully to will come back again.

It’s full of character and warmth. - Amazing sleep – The beds were *so* comfortable—I slept better here than in some hotels! - Friendly host – The owner was welcoming and made sure I had everything I needed. - Great location – Quiet at night, but lively streets nearby with shops, cafes, and a huge **Zahran Supermarket** just steps away (super convenient!). - Good bathroom – Clean with reliable hot water and good pressure.

The apartment is so beautifully decorated, has great ambience and vibe, I just loved it. It is located on 7th floor of a building in a beautiful neighborhood called Smoha. Walking distance from the mall and restaurants. Navy mosque is just a few steps away so luckily I was able to join the prayer congregation on a Friday. A very peaceful and quiet apartment. Kitchen facilities were great too. I could heat up my food and make coffee. My room was spacious enough. Although the bathroom was shared but cleanliness and hygiene was totally up to mark thanks to the cleaning ladies who were very kind. My stay was so comfortable, it felt like home. I would love to stay at Zahran again. It was much more value than the money I paid. Couldn't be more grateful.

Very comfortable room and cozy bed, lovely decor, very clean, excellent host and service, nice guests and it's close to many grocery stores/restaurants. I had fun entertainment watching TV as well and the wifi internet is very fast. I was recovering from a surgery for a week and it was a great choice for me. We had an amazing stay at Smoha Zahran Haus. The stayed at the facility with a shared bathroom, wich was really not a problem at all. The bathroom was very clean and hat everything you could possibly need. Because of the low number of rooms the bathroom was never occupied so that we never had a problem to access the bathroom. The bedroom was also pretty spacious and very comfortable. The Hotel was close to the main bus stop and the city center so that you could take a very cheap Uber or Taxi to get around if you do not like to walk in the hot. Dina, the owner of the house was an amazing host. She welcomed as with open arms and made us feel at home. If you needed something, may it be a facility or even some tips how to get around Alexandria or even another upcoming trip she would always take the time to help you. Also you could talk to her on a personal level and get some really interesting stories. We loved our stay there and hope that we can visit again in the future.

I stayed in a private room hosted by Dr. Dina, and it was truly a wonderful experience. She was extremely kind, respectful, and welcoming. The apartment was very clean and had a unique classic character — like a hidden gem from the golden age of art. The apartment itself was cozy, tastefully decorated, and full of soul and personality. I didn’t feel like just a guest, but rather as if I were living inside a refined vintage piece of art. I was very comfortable throughout my stay. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and elegant place to stay.

The stay was more than perfect, u can see the sea from all the rooms ( panoramic view) The place was very clean with all the facilities available, the host was very respectful, helpful and caring that everything was going great during our stay No need to visit the beach, as u can see a perfect view from the Appartement.

the communication with Alaa, the host, was very good. he’s very kind and makes you feel very comfortable since the first second. the property is clean and very close to the main avenue surrounded by cafés, supermarkets and restaurants. I choose to take the tour with him and it was like talking with a friend around the city. i really recommend this place

People are friendly there, a safe place with cameras at the reception, a kitchen with everything you need, and a quiet room on a high floor (17) without any noise, great location only 5 minutes walking to hilton and corniche

A very special place with a big areas and everything in the apartment is so clean and new,definitely, the best place to look for your comfort. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and the two bathrooms were great. Also the location of the apartment is superior less than 1 minute from walking from the beach and in the central of the country it have many shops and restaurants near to it. The flat is spacious, very clean and has been finished to an excellent high quality standard. The living room is fitted with comfortable sofas LED TV, fast Wi-Fi. The kitchen is complete with appliances including a fridge freezer, washing, electric kettle and cooker. The bedrooms are spacious and mattress are very comfortable. One of the best features of this flat is the location which is so close to the sea front, shops. restaurants and supermarket below the same building. The host has several flats in the same building on different floors. Great place to stay and highly recommended.

The hospitality of owner Mr Mina and being accommodated very late. This is always my first impression of any place I stay in. I can vouch for the attached pictures being identical. The rooms were spacious and scent of clean house like you never left your home. Almost all needed facilities were available. The place was safe and close to most of needed shops. It also had a nice scenery from the balcony. The owner even accommodated us in a better room than we selected. Very good stable WiFi available. Highly recommended for families.
