Lovely hotel - we had a suite with an outdoor jacuzzi. Nice stay with the family with seperate areas for 18 Good entertainment and the staff went out of their way to ensure you had a great time.

The property, accommodations, amenities, service, cuisine, beverages, beach, and butler service were exceptional. We highly recommend this establishment. The skyview jacuzzi suite provided an unparalleled luxurious experience. The meticulous housekeeping service included three daily cleanings. We highly recommend this property.

We stayed at the Mirage in the Mirage Club Rooftop jacuzzi room. The room was great, and the rooftop terrace was fantastic for a late night drink or to watch a sunrise. These rooms include butler services. The property is impeccable and I mean spotless, from our room to the public bathrooms to the pool and the beach. The food at EVERY restaurant and buffet was excellent. I mean excellent. The quality, and the presentation. The buffets were incredible! I cannot truly list the food because it was everything. The coffee shop on site absolutely blows away any Starbucks or true coffee shop However the greatest strength of this resort is the staff. Eduardo our butler handled everything. My request for a birthday cake at one of our reservations surpassed my expectations. He took care of everything I requested and looked after us with a personal touch. Always finding us in the morning wherever we were on the property to make sure everything was ok. He cares about his customers and honestly makes you feel like you can kick back and just relax. Eduardo is the best! The service staff were incredible as well. Luis in the French restaurant with help from Marylin - I’m sorry I know I’m not spelling your name right- made my girlfriend’s birthday celebration even better with their attentiveness. Miguel Angel, and Carlos at the Seaside restaurant would work into the night and be the first smiling faces I’d see in the morning for breakfast. Happy and attentive and always helpful. 👏

Resort Stay Review – Swim-Up Room (Age 39) The Room: Upon arrival, I was initially disappointed. While the room was clean, it had an odd smell and didn’t quite match the polished look shown in the photos. It felt a bit outdated. The jacuzzi tub, although clean and functional, had corroded jets and a broken drain that wouldn’t hold water. The Swim-Up Experience: At first, I was upset to find our swim-up room was on the outer edge of the resort, facing a shared pool with a few neighboring rooms, some landscaping, and unfortunately, a service road. Throughout the day, workers, cars, and mopeds passed by, which wasn’t the relaxing view I had imagined. However, after exploring the resort, we realized the inner swim-up rooms—while more visually connected to the resort—were constantly busy, loud, and lacked privacy. In contrast, our room, while not perfect, offered peace and seclusion that we ended up preferring. The Beach: As a Floridian from the Emerald Coast, I can be a tough critic when it comes to beaches. I was pleasantly surprised—the sand was soft and clean, free of shells or rocks, and the water was beautiful. There were plenty of beach chairs, though you do need to get there early to claim one. The beach buffet lunch was a great touch. Dining: Steakhouse: We dined here almost every night. The first night was phenomenal, with perfectly

Property was very clean, staff were friendly, we felt really safe during our stay. Food was great, and service was good. The only thing that disappointed me was the in suite jacuzzi, the drain plug was broken, so the water was just draining, we were not able to use and enjoy that feature.

The mattress was the best I’ve ever slept on. Having a jacuzzi in our room was fun. The beach had a lot of seaweed piled up on the sand that could be cleaned up. The facilities staff were very loud outside the rooms starting at 8:15am. Elevators down frequently. Nighttime entertainment was generally very good but wish there were more live musicians throughout the property during the day (jazz trio, traditional salsa/merengue combo, steel drum, marimba, dance lessons). A 24/7 TV channel with hotel property events info would be helpful.

The moment you arive at Magestic Colonial Punta Cana you are greeted with a wet wash cloth and a cool, tropical drink. The staff is eager to assist with your luggage, check-in, scheduling reservations in restaurants, scheduling excursions or simply helping in anyway they can. We stayed in an Ocean View Junior Suite with a Jacuzzi. The room is very nice and spacious. The bed is extremely comfortable. The view is breathtaking! The many restaurants are plentiful with a large variety of options. I highly recommend the steak at the Chop House and the Japanese Hibachi restaurant. The breakfasts every morning provide anything you can imagine. The fresh fruits, crepes and omelets were amazing! There are bars wherever you look. They are very generous with their alcohol, it is NOT watered down. In the outside bar, we met the nicest bartender named Domingo that was truly one of the best we've ever met. He remembered our names and our drinks. He had excellent recommendations and surpassed our expectations. He was simply phenomenal! We were there every night to watch the wild parrots fly in for the night. Best memories ever! The beach is very nice. There are plenty of beach chairs for everyone both near the ocean or by the pool. There is entertainment near the beach and near the pool in the staff who engage dancing, yoga, and games. This resort truly has the nicest, most helpful staff I've ever encountered. From the waiters, waitresses, bartenders, housekeeping, retail, EXCELLENT!

I can't say enough about this property. Just beautiful. It exceeded my expectations. My husband and i celebrated our anniversary and from beginning to the last day was fantastic. The property is huge and beautiful. Tons of bars and restaurants and the beach is a stone throw away. Everyone was kind and accommodating. Our suite was amazing with two private outdoor spaces, completed with a jacuzzi, full bar, our private butler, wonderful housekeeping staff, access to a VIP club. A spa, a chapel, nighty entertainment, private dinner by the beach.This is one of my favorite places and would be packed and ready to return in ten minutes. Darel our butler is the best there is. He went above and beyond from the moment we made contact till the moment we got on the bus to leave. Our pick up was with Gomajestictours.com. The moment we got to the counter it was pleasant. Apart from the language barrier which was very few, and our room getting lost after a few margaritas..haha, this was a beautiful vacation. Highly recommend

Majestic Colonial was an interesting place. The location was beautiful and the staff were phenomenal. Everyone greeted you with kindness and warmth. Our biggest problem was the room. It wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been. Mosquitos were all over the room. Dead ones were still on the walls and our jacuzzi was not worth going in at all. Samuel our butler was incredible with request and whenever we needed our room clean he would send someone to clean it. But I believe they need to do better with the upkeep and cleanliness of the rooms. Overall it was a decent experience but do be mindful of your stay here.

This was a get away for my wife and I without the kids. I really enjoyed the excellence club and the adult only side. The private pool for the excellence club that was adults only was very relaxing with a swim up bar. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All the restaurants and the buffet were above my expectations. We opted for the room with our own pool. I believe it was a Jr. Suite with Excellence club upgrade. It was nice having our own pool and our own jacuzzi/jetted tub. We will be going again!

This property was amazing. I see reviews complaining about the food, but it was great to me. Food is always subjective. We ate at Legends for lunch, the Market for breakfast and lunch, and at Lizo and Brass for dinner. There was always something we liked. We had entertainment throughout the day, so there was always something to do. Our room was cleaned everyday and we were offered turn down service. The mini bar was stocked everyday. My only complaint was that the jacuzzi tub did not work.

Stayed in the balcony with personal pool and jacuzzi. The staff was amazing and there’s so many amazing deals. A massage is a must and I recommend doing at least one activity with the staff because they will give you a good laugh. Food was really good for an All-Inclusive. Felt like an intimate honeymoon because the Adults Only side was relaxed and peaceful. Could be because of the time of year (April) or the guest that were there (many couples young to old).

Overall, the property was nice. We had a great room overlooking the ocean. Clean, comfortable, plenty of space, splash pool and jacuzzi were all great. Plenty of complimentary champagne, alcohol, drinks, coffee, water and snacks. All food was complimentary, but nothing too exciting. Plenty of restaurants on the property, but many were closed or when we ordered food it arrive cold. The staff was excellent. Be prepared to use What’s App. I was not informed they would contact me via the app and missed a few communications until I happen to check the notifications.

Lets always start with the good. I only have 2 "suggestions". First, this property is meticulously kept. The upkeep is constant. They never let anything get away from them it seemed. The smallest details were always addressed. The grounds also are beautifully kept and any seaweed was addressed early in the morning each and every day. I opted for the excellence club which in my opinion was worth it due to access to private restaurants, club and upgraded mini bar and room amenities. There is a family side called Finest and the adults side is Excellence. You also get private beach access with food and drink service and yes, is all included. The room was excellent. I had a private pool room. Had a nice deck to lay out on, and indoor jacuzzi. The room is very nicely sized and the bathroom had more than enough room. The bed was outstanding and they have both daily maid service, but evening turndown service as well. Mini bar service was also daily, if you want or need something in particular, just ask your mini bar person, they will absolutely provide what you need as best they can. Staff was excellent with one exception I will mention shortly. Wilson at the pool bar was great and Rony in the club. My two drawbacks was food in the buffet was always lukwarm to cold and I wanted to extend my stay by a week and I talked to two different staff members in the excellence club. The promised to get back to me to make that happen but sadly never did. Thats why I need to hold back one star

Food, service (our butler Peter always helpful), beach, volleyball, room, jacuzzi and champagne in the room, pools for adults, hotel is not overcrowded and renovated: pleasure for eyes.

Thé rooms are spacious, and all have a jacuzzi tub. the property itself is well kept and beautiful. All restaurants are close to one another. it’s very easy to find everything you need

The beach was clean. The sand was white and very soft. The water was clear and refreshing. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had a king size bed, Double sink, collage size refrigerator (that was stocked with beverages) and huge wall closets. Dinner was fun. Each night that we went the staff was very friendly, professional and courteous. The buffet was great. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Plenty of food options.

My husband and I stayed for 8 days to celebrate his birthday in this amazing resort and we loved it so much!!! It was our second time staying here but our first time in the “elegance club” section and it was the best experience ever! We booked a swim up suite and we’d love to go back, you have your own sun beds and cabana in the patio right beside the pool. The staff even made it more memorable. Shout out to mi familia Carlos, Stephany from Sea and See they absolutely made my husband’s birthday dinner special, Luis from the Italian resto, Hilda and Juan from the French resto. The friendly Francisco from the Larimar workshop, the helpful Melvin and Raibel from the gym, and our most creative, professional butler Juan Carlos Martinez. You are all amazing! We will definitely book again.

The hotel was superb; very spacious, great amenities, beautiful and plentiful food. What made the stay extra special was the unwavering friendly and helpful staff members across every area. From Kesner the bellboy who settled us into our room, to Geraldin, Emicia and Cesar in Guest Services who happily assisted us daily, to all of the restaurant staff who couldn’t be more helpful and attentive. Special mentions for Yafreisy and Carlos (Excelente!)

The property was absolutely beautiful and well maintained! Most of the staff at the resort were very friendly and helpful. I need to give a huge shout out to Guest Services!!!! I had finals for school while I was there and needed internet to do my work and they went above and beyond to help me out! They didn't have to help me like that and I am so thankful and grateful to them!!! This was my first all-inclusive experience. My son really took to Julio and Felix at the beach bar/restaurant, they were so kind and friendly to him. It really made an impression! Junior at the regular swim up bar was amazing, attentive, and made great drinks! We really enjoyed ourselves at the pool everyday. Francesca that was a server in the beach restaurant was amazing! We had her a couple times, she was always friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, everything was great, we really enjoyed our time there and will be back!

Literally almost everything was perfect! I’ll just start with what I think needs to change. We stayed in a garden view room. The room could use some upgrades. Jets in tub were showing major corrosion, shower drains and shower heads need repair. The couch had some wear and tear and the king bed is 2 twin box springs pushed together..ours were uneven. We had 3 rooms here and they all needed the same kind of repair. With that being said we would STILL stay here again. This resort and staff were spectacular. The buffet was a 10/10 every day all day. The restaurants were amazing!! The pool is so huge you feel like you have your own private space. Foam party the best pool party I’ve ever attended. Lots of places to get drinks and the drinks are great. “Kiddie” pool amazing..even the adults enjoyed the water slides!! The shows were so fun and interactive with the crowd. We loved the Michael Jackson show. The staff here is so friendly, from front desk to room attendants, restaurant staff…everyone 10/10! We did 8 days in DR, the first part of our trip was spent at another resort..we did not have a good experience. We were beyond happy we chose to switch hotels to Majestic. We would recommend this resort a million times!!

Breakfast and dinner at the Supreme Buffet Restaurant were great, lots of variety. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. At breakfast on the last day of my stay one of the waitresses brought a hibiscus and inserted it in my fiance's hair.......beautiful. Service at the other restaurants was great as well. The attendants at the lobby bar were great and kept us going throughout our stay. Rooms and premises in general are very well maintained.

Tasty food, nice swimming pool, spacious comfy clean room, good bars with great drink options, good restaurant, nice facilities, friendly and welcoming staff, the spa was amazing

This was our 4th vacation in an all inclusive hotel in the Dominican Republic. I can definitely tell that the service was very good here. The people working here really make the difference. Wilbher, our butler, was always making sure that we’re ok and he helped us with info and some bookings. We’ve always been served with a smile on their faces, even when we didn’t tip (sometimes we’d run out of small notes)! All the facilities were in good condition. The food was good, you’d always find something satisfying. We were able to book a la carte restaurants for every dinner. Nothing amazing, but decent enough for an all inclusive hotel. Service could be a little too slow at “On the grill”, but they’re always full. Steaks were good, the fish there didn’t impress me. I felt very safe all the time. Security is discret, but always there. Getting the premium package was definitely worth it. The standard resort was very crowded everywhere, but the premium section was ok. Having its own restaurant is quite nice, always a pleasure to have breakfast and lunch there. The beach was nice and relaxing in the premium area, except for when they were working on the construction of a new beach bar or something like that.

For my first time in Dominican Republic I had a great experience. Staff were very friendly even with the language barrier. My room was very clean housekeeping came by everyday to replace towels and clean the room. Definitely would suggest booking the premium side as the buffet is a little better than the main buffet. I just wished that premium came with a dinner buffet as well as it was kind of hard to get reservations at the restaurants and I wasn’t a fan of the main buffet. Overall I had a great first experience and time! Will definitely book again in the future.

It was our second time and this time we booked Premium. Room was clean and spacious, Premium buffet served good food but what makes it so special is the staff. Amazing ladies, friendly, always smiling. It was a pleasure going there for breakfast and lunch. Pools at preimim are clean and not too crowded and beach bar as well. 2 ladies at Mini club are awesome, my daughter loved them. All in all good place for the money we paid, you feel welcomed!!

Our butler Randy was awesome he was helpful with setting our dinner reservations and also prepared our room to Celebrate my wife’s birthday. I truly recommend him to anyone arriving at property Only concern was the pool water level was low so skimmers were not working to get rid of debri and the jacuzzi had similar water temperature to pool

This resort was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, and we loved our time there. Our butler, Edward, truly helped make the experience magical for my girlfriend and I (we were celebrating her 30th Birthday), and I have the UTMOST gratitude and thanks to Edward for all of his help. Before I begin - I almost did not book this resort due to the 3-5 year old YouTube video reviews I saw online. Those videos are Extremely out of date, and this resort totally shines in everything it does! Customer Service: The Customer Service here is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND I AM EXTREMELY GRATEFUL FOR EVERYONE! To name a few people that truly made an impact on our stay for the absolute betterment of it are: Edward, Tony, Albert (or Albessard), Sandy, William, and Cindy. There were many other people, but I did not get all of their names. Rooms: We Stayed in the Jacuzzi Terrace Suite Beachside. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! Had a ton of space to relax in the room for days we wanted to unwind. It overlooked the Adults only pool, so we could relax with a drink. It had its own outside jacuzzi that has jets that run (just rinse it out first prior to getting in - like all jacuzzi tubs anywhere). The room was absolutely amazing. The only problem that we had that got resolved very quickly was the toilet. During mid-morning, our toilet would not flush. We contacted Edward (our butler), and we had maintenance come a fix the toilet within 30 minutes - 1 hour (which was no problem for us). character limit reached

We travelled as a group of 9 friends/couples in 4 rooms. We could not recommend this more! We had a second floor room with a huge balcony with a jacuzzi tub; despite being next to the main pool the space felt private and quiet. Our Butler Norielis was AMAZING. She took all the stress off our shoulders, coordinating everything for our big group including our a la carte dinners, spa massage day, excursions, and bringing more snacks and beverages to our room. We were entertained by the all-star Animacion team - Albessard, Claribel, and Stahylin! From pool bike/spin class, pole class, aerial yoga, trampoline fitness, cooking / cocktail classes, and private dance lessons these guys kept us busy in the best way, without being too overbearing. We bought excursions from the hotel liaison Previs and the prices were truly better than the ones you’d find on the beach - trust the team! The spa was worthwhile for the massages, hydrotherapy, mud, and private quiet pool use. Our breakfast buffet was great with custom omelettes and crepes and beachside grill was delicious for lunch. Of the a la cartes our favourites were Sumptori (a must do), Kusko, Bhogali, and Bamboo. Hemingway’s bar was a great spot to watch the hockey playoffs in the evening, and then dance the night away to local music. Beach access was easy; could always find a spot there, the water was warm, and the sand is soft without too much seaweed or rocks. We did not walk or rent a car off the resort. Come for a great vacation!

Really great quiet, relaxing resort. Staff and service was excellent! We were in the swim out suite building 57 and we really enjoyed it. Highly recommend the swim out suites. Special call outs for especially great service: Ramona at the Mexican restaurant. This lady should be teaching others what great service really is. Really well done. Steven the bar tender behind building 57 and close to building 52. He was one of the staff that went out of his way to provide a really excellent experience. Rosiris- housekeeper kept our room clean and stocked with coffee, always had a smile. When we had special requests she was happy to help. Yeandra- host in lobby friendly and great service. Edward- butler in building 57 was great making reservations and was always there to help. Francisco- he was at the desk in the lobby of building 57 very helpful and very friendly . Great guy! The staff is one of the reasons we liked this resort so much. Really no criticism except there was smoking everywhere. Smoking on the restaurant patios and around pools. Also vaping inside buildings which all appeared to be allowed. This was disgusting! Other than that there was sea weed on the beach but that’s not the resorts fault and they did everything they could to clean it up.

This was our 6th yearly stay at TRS. The grounds & the pools are excellently maintained. On the beach, there’s plenty of Palapa umbrellas & we've never had a problem getting one. There's been a Sargassum seaweed problem for at least our last 4 years. This is a problem throughout the Caribbean. TRS does it's best to clean the beach daily with a tractor pulling a Barber Beach Rake. All our stays have been in the March to June timeframe. From what I've read, the seaweed problem runs from March through October. There are many restaurants to choose from including those at the adjacent Palladium Resorts. We'd rate the restaurant with a range of fair to excellent. Every room has a Butler who has a block of rooms. We've had at ~ 3 different Butlers over the 6-year period. We met Randy, our Butler 3 years ago and he's by far the best one there. This year, I contacted Randy 2 weeks before our arrival & requested the same room that we had the previous year. Also, two days before our arrival, I requested to see if he could book us the Sumptuori (Hibachi) Restaurant for the 1st seating. When we arrived at TRS in the afternoon. he met us in the lobby and had reserved the room & restaurant we requested. On our 2nd day, we had problem with our showerhead water pressure & I texted Randy at 6:04 pm about the problem and when we got back from dinner @ 8:30 pm, I noticed that the shower head had been replaced. Looking forward to going back in 2026

Just came back from our last minute booked - 5 day, 4 night - getaway. This resort is about 40 - 45 minutes out from the airport. I recommend booking ground transportation as we had limited options since we booked last minute. Taxi is $70 flat rate but you can find Expedia options around $40. The resort was lovely. While we didn’t get the swim up room (sold out), we found the junior suite to be all we needed. We e had a second level facing the pool and could see partial ocean. It was a beautiful view. The jacuzzi is partially glass enclosed with the glass facing the balcony. You have two bed option on the balcony that each provide its own vibe. I loved the one closer to the ground in the corner. It was a nice little corner to snuggle up with your significant. As far as dining goes, there were plenty of options. We had some delicious meals and some ok ones. This can be the luck of the drawer with resorts but this was better than most. We only sampled some restaurants. We found the food trucks to provide tasty snacks as well. If I wasn’t fasting coffee and sweets for lent, I could tell you more about the cutest coffee shop with all types of coffee that I hope to dry in the future. They had plenty of pastries and cookies and even gelato. This is a laid back spot so if you’re looking to party at the pool, this isn’t the place. You can definitely have a good time but it’s more low key. We surprisingly had a good time the night we checked out the club. Good music and dancing.

It’s a beautiful hotel that has almost everything you need from an all-inclusive resort. They started us off with champagne when we arrived. In the evenings, they had shows, silent disco, karaoke, dancing. They also have a pool table and ping pong tables outside so you can play anytime as a group. They have a tennis court as well and have instructors. The rooms were nice and big. All the rooms had a balcony and a small private jacuzzi on the balcony. The bathroom was big but has no privacy so if you’re sharing a room as a non-couple, it can get pretty awkward. We also booked a room with 2 double beds because there were 3 people in the room. When we got there, the room only had a king size bed and they told us that the double bed was based on availability. The pools are 4ft deep so it’s easy to lounge. The pools were unclean- there was always bugs and other dirt inside The jacuzzis were disappointing as rarely were they actually hot.

We had an amazing time at the Excellence El Carmen! The beach was beautiful and pristine, the water was so clear and warm and the waves were fun but not to big. The staff at the resort were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The coffee was amazing at the Aroma coffee shop and the breakfast buffet. The selection of restaurants was good and they were all open plenty for us. The food presentation was great and the quality was good, some of the flavors and preparations were slightly off. The resort buildings were beautiful and well maintained. Our room was huge and clean with an amazing balcony, it looked like all the rooms have bathtubs with window sides and blinds (in addition to private separate rain showers) so you can bath with a view. The drinks were delicious and the bar tenders were so fun! The smoothies and juice were also a definite highlight. Can not recommend enough for anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing all-inclusive experience right on a beautiful beach.

WARNING; do not visit this resort! Unless you want to be absolutely pampered and have the most relaxing week of your life! (Not even kidding 😅) My husband and I visited The Excellence El Carmen Feb 3rd-9th and it was beyond our wildest dreams. I actually used Trip Advisor before booking to compare different resorts I was looking at and after reading the reviews on here decided to book; I’m so glad we did! This resort is all of 5 stars and more! They have a stunning location, the staff were so friendly and kind, the beach was gorgeous, restaurants incredible, and our room was top notch. We decided to purchase a club room while visiting, so we had a private pool and sitting area, and had access to the magna restaurant and extra bars and pool areas, and it was well worth the little bit of extra money! From the moment we arrived everything was perfect!They have a private “club” check in in a wonderfully scented private lobby; had champagne for us when we pulled up; ushered us to the private bar for delicious and beautiful drinks, and then ushered us to our room. Every day around 4:30 or five someone stopped by our room to drop off fun and delicious petit fours. We loved the coffee shop and the fact that we could walk in at anytime and grab a coffee and a quick snack if we wanted to. (Thank you Iveliesse T and Claudy who regularly worked the coffee shop and made beautiful art in our lattes)

I came to celebrate my 11 year wedding anniversary and we found the experience to be romantic and intimate. This property was immaculately kept and the staff are warm, friendly, and accommodating. Johan at the bar in the rotunda is amazing and the food at the grill and magna is amazing! The buffet style dining needs some themes as some of the food options don’t match. However, do not let that stop you from going to this relaxing, very safe, and enjoyable. The excellence club liquor options for the suites should be better top shelf especially for the upgraded prices. I can’t wait to try other excellence resorts in other areas.

Cayo Levantado is magical! Amazing natural surroundings, well maintained garden and private beach, excellent staff and service in every details. Our ambassadors truly helped to organize amazing programs, booked diners for us, so made our stay way more than perfect. Yubarta and other recreational programs were amazing. We had a nature walk with a biologist who showed us the ecosystem of the island, and introduced the mission of their garden program. As an all inclusive hotel, we had many delicious and sophisticated food experiences with great hospitality.

This is the island jewel in the crown of the Bahia Principe empire of resorts. Newly refurbished, it is the wonderful opposite of the Punta Cana drinkfests in its solitude, quiet, dignity, beauty, and healthy dining. The staff are superbly trained: unfailingly courteous, attentive, and capable. The chefs know their stuff. The grounds and rooms are kept clean and gorgeous. The gym is small but wonderfully equipped. The pools are splendid and the seating more than ample—the same goes for the beach. In fact, one might want a little less oomph from the beachside DJ and some of the nighttime restaurant musicians, as the vibe of the resort is of calm joy, not amped-up happy-happy. In general, though, quiet and considerate hospitality is constant every moment of every day. Specially chosen little gifts left in the room, a lunchbox for early departers (we flew in and out of Punta Cana, so we needed provisions for the 5-hour car ride), and a dozen other kindnesses seasoned an already exquisite experience. If you want what the website promises, Cayo Levantado Resort delivers—and how. We'll be back. For sure.

We stayed in early March for 6 days and loved every day. Frankly, everything was great. We didn't get to try the spa or excursions because we had a 15mo old baby with us, which takes a lot of time, but just the pools and the beach were wonderful. The food was amazing. Each restaurant had fantastic food. Even the breakfast buffet was phenomenal. For drawbacks, getting to the property is a major drag. It's a 3hr ride by car from Santo Domingo. Not much they can do about that, I guess. What they can improve on are two things: quality of coffee (didn't enjoy that at all) and the staff needs to get a bit better on their English. Some are better than others, but most of the time, communication was challenging. You can also communicate with your "ambassador" via WhatsApp and even that was not all smooth sailing, so yeah, staff's English needs to improve. But don't let this hold you back, even with what it is now, it's been a wonderful stay.

Pros - Beach was very nice, garden area and facility was clean and maintained. Cons - The safe in the room could be opened with the master com that was printed on the outside of the safe even when programed with custom combination, which meant anyone could open the safe, therefore non of your belongings that were put in the safe was secure from others accessing it. A few of the staff members that we interacted with was dishonest and rude.

I absolutely loved this resort. It was my first time in the Dominican Republic. My grandchildren picked the resort and it was an excellent choice. I would highly recommend this resort for anyone if you have children and if you don’t have children, the only thing I thought could be better is had more shops with more things in it like sweatshirts, more sizes but other than that, it was a perfect perfect 10 the staff concierge the hotel. I can’t say enough about this this place absolutely amazing. They kept the beach up. The life guides were totally on guard so you felt safe going in the water. I loved the people that sold the items on the beach, beautiful things the gentleman with the parrots my grandchildren got a kick out of those plenty of room to swim at the pool you weren’t bumping into one another and it was probably one of the busiest season in school vacation the room service the made service top-notch the most friendliest people I’ve ever seen and it’s hard to be turned on all that time every day whoever does the hiring should get a raise cause he chose or she chose the most incredible people and caring can’t say enough about this property, and I certainly will recommend to my friends and family Thank you Lesley Souza. Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: A Memorable Family Getaway. Our family vacation at the Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort was absolutely delightful. The resort offered an ideal blend of relaxation and vibrant activities, immersing us in an atmosphere designed for enjoyment from the moment we arrived. The resort shines with its impressive amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed the plethora of swimming pools, each with a unique vibe, from lively areas to tranquil spots. Direct access to the beautiful beach provided endless opportunities for swimming, sunbathing, and various water sports. Dining was a culinary adventure. The resort has a wide variety of restaurants and buffets, offering diverse and delicious food. We were consistently impressed by the quality, freshness, and abundance of choices, ensuring something to satisfy every palate. Every team member was incredibly polite, attentive, and hardworking, consistently going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Their promptness in answering questions and eagerness to help made a significant positive impact. The only minor point was an occasional language barrier, making communication a bit challenging at times. However, this was a very minor inconvenience, as the staff's dedication and positive attitude always shone through, and they invariably found a way to assist us. It was an excellent family vacation.

We go out to Punta Cana 1-2xs a year. This is our first time staying here. Resort was excellent. Plenty to do. Many dif restaurants. Food everywhere, even a food truck between the front reception and the water park. Beach was clean with nice sandy walk out and wave breaker, so safe for the kids. Staff was top tier! Super involved and bunch of dif daily activities including bunch for the kids. I can’t say enough about the staff across the whole facility as they were all great, but have to give an extra big shout out to Pedro at the Buffet who went above and beyond for everyone with great spirit and energy! Certainly left an impression. We will def be back!!

Amazing service, top-notch food & location. The resort has lots of fun activities and free water sports equipment like paddleboards, kayaks, and sailboats. Evening shows are fun, especially the Queen tribute and the Michael Jackson show in the lobby. Cocktail bars are superb, and the staff is extremely friendly and fun! This is our second time returning to this resort, and both times we rented a beach facing swim out preferred club, which I'd definitely recommend!

Beach is secluded, not crowded, clean of seaweed, beautiful views, IG worthy, beautiful swim-out pools, beautiful & spacious rooms, friendly & attentive staff, good food, good drinks, fun activities everyday, luxury spa, & I can go on & on.

I had a great time at this resort. It was clean and relaxing. I liked the fun surprises they would bring by the pool. We rented a Bali Bed one day and that was so relaxing. Loved my outside tub. Loved the option to mirror my phone to tv. Enjoyed the Italian restaurant. The bread was so fresh. Lasagna was great too! Green juice at breakfast is delicious.

This is an excellent resort. It is gorgeous and clean, with a large pool and a beach. Each day, the guests receive a text listing all the activities, and there is plenty to do in the morning, afternoon, and evening (for example, Yoga, Handcraft, Bike tour, Aqua Aerobics, Sports, Latin dance classes, Live music, and evening shows). There is no need to go out of the resort for entertainment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I paid a little extra for the 'preferred' option and do not regret it. Anibal was my 'butler,' and he was excellent--highly responsible, respectful, and friendly. Many people working in this resort go the extra mile to help the guests. These extraordinary workers include Julia, "La Diva," Rihanna, Beyonce (some use nicknames), Teofilo, Rigoberto, Jackson, Richard, Esperanza, and Maria. While tips are included in the final price, I highly recommend tipping some resort workers. No one knows how much of the "included tip" is given to the workers; thus, it is a way to help them financially (not to mention that the Hyatt is making a lot of money—remember, labor in the Dominican Republic is cheap).

The property is well maintained. All information is contactless - scan code for menus, reservatios, resort information, etc. No papers to worry about. The pictures are very accurate on the website. The room was quite spacious. I had a garden view - with major construction view of new addition to the property. The workers waited until 9am to start. Also, if you want a swim out pool room, they are on the garden view side of the property. The primary pool areas were accurate- (1) busy entertainment (activities in pool, larger slides, and kids slides) pools towards front and (2) quieter/calmer pool towards the back by the beach. The beach had a good stand and bar as well. The food at the restaurants for reservations was delicious - hibachi, steakhouse, and Italian (options tried). Appreciated the bar grill that stayed open pass midnight. Food options were great. My son enjoyed the party wings - fried and buffalo styles. The staff, overall, were pleasant. I appreciate them not allowing food to be taken from restaurant areas. Helps with maintaining cleanliness.

The resort is luxurious with many facilities. The rooms are spacious and newly designed, with many amenities and a large balcony overlooking the sea and the pools. Beautiful surroundings, excellent views, a real resort. Great buffet with many options and the staff at the pool bar and the buffet very friendly and kind. Amazing cocktails (Coco loco was delicious) and the Blue Hawai offered at the hotel entrance, a real treat!

This hotel is worth the money! We tried the Dominican food at the buffet, the steak restaurant and the hibachi restaurant- all were very tasty. There was also a snack shop on the beach that made delicious small bites as well. Every day and night, there’s some form of entertainment going on so you won’t be bored. The staff were very friendly and professional - especially the waiters at the sports bar. The Serene Spa was one of the highlights of our trip, and the rooms were clean and spacious.

I really enjoyed my 6 nights stay at the Serenade. it was fun. They had lots of fun activities to engage the guests. the beach front was amazing. Lots of pools, rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Love the buffet. Overall it was great. I’ll definitely recommend.

We booked the delux suite with hot tub. The room was great and very clean. Enjoyed the rooftop deck. The staff were very friendly and nice. Including the maintenance staff who fixed the AC and came twice to fix the hot tub. We had a kitchen with nothing in the cabinets. You must ask for anything you want from the front desk, but no one tells you that on checking in. Also the room telephone didn’t work. Azul restaurant had delicious food both at the breakfast buffet and at dinner. Our party of five found everything we ordered to be delicious. They also have a pool and disco and hot tubs on the roof. The music is pretty noisy at night on the roof, but the rooms are especially quiet. I would definitely recommend this hotel and the restaurant.

The. Hotel is nice , clean and the staff is friendly and are always polite and helpful. I didn’t like the disturbing sounds of disco unti late hours . The beds are comfortable and also the pillows . The bathroom is small but has everything needed for a week end stay. I missed a coffee machine ! The restaurant is very good and has lots of varieties to choose . The service was great . Overall a good experience.

From the moment we arrived until the end of our stay, the staff treated us exceptionally well. The hotel restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience with beautifully presented and delicious food—our waiter, Juan, was outstanding! The beach and pool staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Our room was spacious with a stunning view of the pool and beach. The sandy beach was a highlight, with fish swimming playfully around our feet, and both the pool and beach areas were delightfully uncrowded. There’s even a helicopter landing zone, presumably for flights to STI airport. For variety, there are several restaurants within 2-3 blocks if you feel like exploring beyond the hotel’s offerings. The hotel also features valet service, a spa, cozy fireplaces to enjoy at night, hot tubs, and a responsive WhatsApp service for immediate assistance or updates. The attention to detail and quality of service made our stay unforgettable!

Perfect place for a PEACEFUL family vacation!! My kids had so much fun just running around the beach and jumping in and out of the three pools and two picuzzis! The kids also had a blast using the chaiselounges as slides inside the saltwater pool and playing beach volleyball! The food was super yummy!!! Try the pastries during breakfast and the mangú!!! AGUAJÍ IS A MUST! the chef is the famous Chef Tita…. Soooo soooo goood, the chicharron, the shrimp ceviche, the papardelle, the chicharron rissoto, and the asopao de langosta, the bread pudding! Basically everything was perfect! The Picuzzi fire pits are unreal…. The views are JUST WOW!! You can see all the mountains of Puerto Plata and the beautiful Sosúa Bay! And last but not least… THE SPA…. Wooww woooww wooowww… we got a couples massage and we enjoyed every second of it… i dare say it’s in my TOP 3 Spas in the DR (and i’ve been around Spas :p ) I also recommend for couples… my husband and I went two years ago and enjoyed it sooo much!

My friend and I stayed here for a week and we honestly couldn’t stop saying out loud “this place is amazing.” Not only amazing, but absolutely beyond beautiful. The private beach, the top notch service, kind staff, responsive to everything we asked, THE FOOD- continental breakfast was beyond what we expected, dinner was also delicious and so fresh. Everyone was so nice and gave us restaurant recommendations outside the resort as well. 1000% will be coming back!!

I was treated as a special guest from the minute I came in til the very moment I left. The staff was pleasant, helpful and very professional. Rooms are clean and beautiful. The food is delicious and although this is not an all inclusive hotel, a delicious breakfast is included. They had some beer, water and soft drinks in the fridge that were also included. The beach is great. The pools are clean. I loved it!

A beautiful resort with a private small beach. Lovely staff with regard to courtesy. We were upgraded to a Suite with full kitchen, LR, and patio. Bed was very comfortable and bathroom was spacious. They welcomed us with birthday balloons and a cake which made my day very special. Food in the lounge restaurant was very good, although a bit pricey. The occasional coconut by the beach was very much appreciated! Some great staff we encountered were: Nelfie, Franklin, Jose Luis, and many more. There are several options outside the resort if you want to explore local eateries. Waterfront Alicia is excellent for any meal overlooking the bigger beach. They offered one yoga class during the week.

Rooftop Jacuzzi room, many different restaurants to choose from, and the staff was wonderful.

Everything and everyone were very nice. I will recommend it. The rooms are spacious. I loved the greenery and natural parks. Pools and restaurants were very good clean, and the workers are all so polite. Starting with the front desk clerk Junior his service was over the top. Johvanny @ Las Torres restaurant was very attentive. The entire staff were helpful and friendly. I will visit again once a find a good deal on the price.

The view from my room was amazing, being able to see the beach from my room, I loved the outside shower. Food was good at the restaurants that I have dinner.

After reading multiple bad reviews before coming we lowered our expectations and decided to have a great time no matter what. We had a great time . Beautiful resort , comfortable rooms Great beach. Great buffet with so many choices. Was a perfect vacation for our family. The best part was having RAFAEL from the lobby helping us throughout the week with transportation between the palladium resorts , restaurants recommendations and reservations, day trips etc.. Long, amazing beach front, offering all the services one would ever need in such a paradise-like environment. Several pools and so many restaurants which made it "hard" to choose dining options. The golden ticket of Gran Palladium, however, it's their staff. From the reception (shoutout to Kelsie) to the rooms manager (Catherine), with the drivers and the employees at the bar, make you feel home and on holiday from the moment you step in until the check-out

My husband and I stayed here for his birthday. We stayed for a week and overall the experience was great! We stayed on the resort most days and enjoyed lounging by the pools or on our balcony. The room was incredible. We had 2 bathrooms and a jacuzzi and sun bed on the balcony. View was absolutely gorgeous. The only issues we had was when it rained, our glass sliding doors to the balcony let in a lot of water. It was quick to dry it up and open the door to dry out the rest, however I called down to attempt and get staff to come clean it but nobody came up. The pools were nice and there was some kind of activity every day. Bartenders were very friendly. I will say, I’m not a very picky eater but I had a hard time enjoying the food selections. Breakfast was a buffet every morning with an omelette station, but the buffet served a lot of dinner foods (rice, egg rolls, sausage, plantains…) The food I ate was good, just not a big selection. We got a butler included with our stay and he was amazing. We were able to text him with any questions and he made dinner reservations for us every night. This was the quietest resort we stayed at and would definitely recommend it if you’re not looking for a party every single night.

This is a tough review because it depends a lot on what you want out of your stay. First. The resort grounds are 5 star, very clean and extremely well kept. All the staff were 5 star, super nice and worked hard there. The spa was great, free to use the facilities had an excellent deep tissue massage extra cost, and theres a secluded pool back there. Cant, comment much on drinks because we didnt drink much. But it seemed fine to me. The food is tricky, some was really great, better than i expected, some not so great. I stuck to eggs. Bacon, little churros, and plantians for breakfast, and loved it. Overall, the buffet breast was hit and miss. Ate lunch at helios everyday and had good and great meals, particularly enjoyed the giant beef rib one day, which fell off the bone, brownie ice cream dessert amazing. Picky eaters will struggle with lack of choices, especially over several days, not for vegans. Theres also a grill open by the pool for burgers, fried chicken, hot dogs. Little coffee shop for a small snack, and 24 hr room service included. Room service was hit and miss too. Nachos not so great, but surprisingly had an excellent steak and burger, pizza was good too. This is a small quiet place, exactly what we wanted. Little beach is non useable, shuttle to juanillo beach was great. Beautiful not crowded beach, loved it. Shuttle was easy to use. The aging room was 3 star, bed was 5 star. Nice big shower. We had a great relaxing stay.

So impressed with our stay here! We came for our honey/babymoon and this place really exceeded our expectations. The food was delicious, everything is so fresh! Not your typical buffet style resort, the restaurants are all amazing! Just make sure to book your reservations in the morning with your butler to guarantee your preferred timing. Our butler Carlos was wonderful, he went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. You must book a swim up room, it is so worth it!! Our cocktail server Nelson was constantly coming around to bring us drinks or snacks as we enjoyed our pool time. Super friendly staff. Beautiful resort. It’s small and private and relaxing. The nightly entertainment was also great. It was exactly what we needed for our little getaway. Five stars in all categories. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.
