The staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. It was nice to have the coffee and tea dispenser in the hall!

Spacious, comfortable rooms and public areas. Very nice space with large jacuzzi, sauna and nice pool. Good location in this tranquil but interesting city. Avoid the restaurant. The food is very ordinary except for a marinated salmon appetizer. Look instead for "El Escondite" on calle Rocafuerte for one of the best lunches in town. Roka Plaza's restaurant also has excellent food as does Palacio del Congrejo.

I stayed here 10 days in june. The hotel is well located in the center of the city. I liked very much the spacious room with its big bed. There is great variety of choice at breakfast and the food was tasty. The lunch and dinner is decent, but it seems that there is some problem of organization, as even when there were not too much people in the restaurant sometimes there were slow in serving the dishes. But the views from the 6th floor restaurant are amazing. The waiters are also nice. All the hotel staff was nice and helpful.

We stayed one night at Hotel Emperador, after a three day bicycling trip through the Andes. The spa facilities were very welcome, but we had to have the saunas turned on for us and running the jets of both hot tubs seemed to be a bit of a hotel secret. The staff gladly took care of this, once we called down. They have a very satisfying breakfast buffet and the accommodations are comfortable and clean. There was some night time construction up the road, but the hotel was not to blame for the disturbance. The staff are friendly and helpful, but aren't completely prepared to deal with large groups that arrive en masse. The hotel is well situated next to one of the beautiful squares in Ambato and is well worth a visit.

The staff were very nice and the breakfast was wonderful. We were placed in a smaller room than reserved, but when the toilet stopped working we were placed in a room that was correct. The wifi was limited. The noise in the room from the street and inside the motel was loud. The bed was nice and fairly large.

The fruit at breakfast was great The bun with cheese substantial and scrambled eggs The location is away from the centre but only two blocks away are many buses going to centre or to mall de Andes A few blocks away there is a fantastic garden with carved out people or animals in sculptured cedar scrubs A really beautiful art gallery garden The owner gave us good advice All the staff very nice Will stay here again

This is the most amazing hotel experience. The building is very, very old and as close to feeling like a castle. It is a great experience just to walk around and look at the very lavish furnishings. The bar is beautiful, the drinks are very creative, and the bartenders are fun to watch... Ever have a drink made with dry ice? The staff is very helpful and the food from the restaurant is excellent. The rooms are very nicely furnished and very castle-like. I have actually altered my itinerary to go back to the hotel for another night. And it is very reasonably priced! Just couldnt have been better.

This is a charming historic building. The bed was clean and comfortable and the staff were quite helpful. Breakfast far exceeded my expectations.

This was a nice place to stay. It wasn't in the center of town, but was close enough to walk to many good places to eat. My only complaint was the shower was luke warm. I like HOT water. The breakfast was great, the atmosphere was also great. The building had a lot of character. It was an older building but had been updated and turned into a pleasant place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Todo excelente en términos generales, el servicio y atención del personal son excelentes 10/10, ayudan al huésped en lo posible, la señal wifi sin problema alguno, sin embargo tratando de las instalaciones, la cama era incómoda y las almohadas muy altas, generando cervicalgias o cefaleas en momentos.

Hotel was recommended by local family members as we were attending a family reunion in Ambato. We were a large group so received a good rate for interconnected rooms for each family (One Room had a Queen size bed and the other two Standard size beds). The rooms were very clean and each came with its own bathroom that had a standing shower. City view rooms had breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding the city, a nice way to start or end your day. Pros: The Breakfast offered in the Hotel Restaurant (Cafe Ambato) is one of the best Breakfast varieties I’ve seen in my travels in South America. The food varieties offered is fresh, healthy and delicious. They had fresh tropical fruits, cheeses, yoghurts, 3 or more fruit juices, eggs and local fare. Delicious! Helpful and Always available staff. City and area were very safe and had no issues walking around at night especially to visit some of the restaurants in the downtown area. Hotel has a private parking lot if you’re renting a car. Cons: Stay away from the rooms facing the street area and front of hotel especially on weekends. Few bars in area and it can get loud and annoying at night. The TV had only Spanish/Ecuadorian Channels and WiFi signal was acceptable in the rooms but more reliable and faster in the lobby.

Nice room and amazing breakfast! My boyfriend my cousin and I stayed for one night only because we were heading to Baños the next day! I loved it and the view from the room was amazing!!! Loved it! It was a bit expensive for our taste but they offered a really nice breakfast with a lot of variety (eggs, meat, juices, coffee, bread and much more)

Stayed in hotel Ambato, nice well furnished rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast. Pros: kids stay free, breakfast central location, view from hotel/room. Cons: no AC or climate control,rooms can get very hot in the afternoon. No pool. Poor wifi signals.

I have been a tourist in the city of Ambato for 4 days. The city is known as a "City of Flowers, Fruits and Bread", the people who live in the city are very kind, friendly and respectful, the in Ambato I have felt very happy because I have enjoyed all the natural places they are very beautiful and fun as a its parks and the Cathedral, it is mild climate is very relaxing. In the city of Ambato you can find different products and typical foods very delicious. It also has hotels with neat and clean rooms.

We were guests at this hotel for 1 night only but it was perfect. the breakfast was great, rooms decent size and clean. the hotel looks modern and very hospitable staff. I would definitely recommend. oh and a great location as well with beautiful views of Ambato.
