My 3 yr old loved the pool and we enjoyed the jacuzzi. The breakfast was also good

Breakfast is quick, easy and generally is good. Location is close to the office I am visiting. Room is clean and I routinely get a good night sleep. THe TV selection is great. I have also enjoyed using the pool and jacuzzi. I wish the food offerings in the evenings had a few different meal configuration including Steak, Chicken Or Fish with a starch (Baked Potato) or mashed potato and maybe a vegetable like broccoli…The staff have always been very nice courteous and supportive!

We spent 5 nights at Hyatt Place Anchorage-Midtown at the end of our month-long road trip around Alaska. It is in a nice, safer section of Anchorage and is a short driving distance to restaurants, museums, parks, farmer’s markets, and sightseeing in general. Our second floor room had a comfortable king bed and closet along with a sitting area with a couch and coffee table and was very spacious. There was a reasonably sized bathroom with a walk-in shower. It was well supplied with outlets, and charging stations, towels, coffee maker and refrigerator. We took advantage of the amenities of a pool and hot tub. The self serve breakfast room was spacious and supplied with many foods for a great breakfast and was included in the hotel price. They had free internet, parking at the hotel and a shuttle to the airport early in the morning when we needed to leave town. The personnel were helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel.

Our flight was complicated and stressful. Upon arrival at Hyatt Place, our stress was instantly relieved when we were greeted by the friendliest front desk employee, Tawnia. Shortly after we were booked into our room, we discovered an issue with our room, and again, Tawnia assisted and gave us a new room that we were truly satisfied with. Our room is a comfortable size, clean, quiet, and has comfortae beds. I only wish we had a microwave in the room. There is one in the lobby to use, but not as convenient. For the 7 days that we stayed here, we were able to rest well without any complications. Our favorite area was the breakfast. The fruit was fresh, sweet, and delicious with a great variety of choices from day to day. The food was warm and tasty. Again, the staff, including kitchen staff and cleaning crew were kind and helpful to all guests. I would like to suggest, since it is a newer hotel, to upgrade to kuerig coffee machines and a variety of creamers and coffees for guests. Neverthess, there was a great variety of teas. I have traveled quite often, and I have never had such a satisfying breamfast as what I had at Hyatt Place. The gym is a good size with basic equipment for quick cardio, but I would like to recommend that you invest in a Tonal Gym. The swimming pool is huge but not heated. The kids had plenty of place to play. The hot tub was nice as well.

Very pleasant and comfortable stay. Staff were friendly and responsive (the shower drained slowly and maintenance resolved the problem promptly). Breakfast was sufficient/adequate, very similar to other hotel offerings. There were very few minor wear and tear areas in the building. Room and bed were comfortable, modern, clean, and with a good set-up. Two comments: (1) I could not reach anyone by email nor by phone to schedule a shuttle from the airport to the hotel; no response at all. (2) The hotel is not necessarily centrally located...meaning if one does not have a car, they cannot easily walk to stores nor restaurants. What is available nearby is limited (additionally, what is offered on-site for food is also very limited). Having a car would be convenient. We used Lyft throughout our stay and we had no problem. Overall, we had a very good stay and would recommend this hotel.

Great place to stay in Anchorage with amazing helpful staff. Clean rooms, good breakfast selection, staff is friendly, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. They helped locate my Hyatt account information, brought some extra coffee to the room, answered area specific questions and helped make my stay very comfortable.

Easy check in. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The free breakfast was outstanding. They provide everything you could possibly need. I also liked the fact that they use real silverware and glass plates. Less waste on the environment. The dining area was clean and well maintained. Also the eggs didn't taste weird like the usual free breakfast at most hotels.

Love this hotel!! Marlene was amazing & did everything to keep us happy & comfortable. Can't say enough nice things about her! Super clean hotel. Spacious well thought out room. Pool was perfect. Buffet breakfast was a great start to everyday! Bonus, there is a bird sanctuary right next to hotel. We look forward to returning next time in AK!

This property is not far from the airport. The driving directions are easy. However, finding the actual hotel was just a little bit tricky for me. The driveway was not as well marked as I would have liked. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth and easy. There was plenty of parking. There's breakfast served in the morning for free. It was very well done with a variety of hot and cold items. I would recommend this hotel for short stays. I'm not sure that I would be super comfortable here for long periods of time, but the weekend I was here was good. One thing that I would have liked to see in the room was more information about the hotel itself like the Wi-Fi password or just the usual paperwork that comes in the room that talks about what's available in the hotel, I didn't see any of that. If you're given a choice between the view and quiet, The view really is very good. However, there's a fair amount of road noise from the main Street outside the hotel. So if noise is a problem, you'll need to skip the view.

Nice location, clean, friendly staff and a great breakfast buffet. Due to flight delays, we didn't arrive until 2 am however the young gal at the desk was just as nice as can be for it being so late and that was experience with all the staff during our stay. The room was comfortable and clean with all we needed. The beds were comfy, shower head and water pressure were good. We enjoyed the evening Happy Hour with a complimentary drink and some cheese, crackers etc. The breakfast buffet was clean and had the basics along with cooked to order omelets, pancakes and french toast. Off the lobby there was a small game room of sorts as well as the for purchase food/beverage/sundry items. The location for us was good. Ten minutes to the downtown area and 15 minutes from the airport. During our stay I did notice that an airline puts up its pilots there as there was a few at breakfast and I always take that as a good sign. The hotel was everything we needed and we'd stay again.

We read mixed reviews before going so I was a bit worried but we had a fantastic stay!! The room is a pretty standard Embassy Suites room, which is a good thing. It felt recently renovated so clean and fresh. The front desk provided great service. The elevators were super fast. The breakfast buffet is definitely a highlight, like nothing i've ever had before for a free hotel breakfast. Also the happy hour was a nice touch! The lobby is spacious, with lots of nice places to hang out, there's even a room with a pool table. The indoor pool and hot tub were both large and clean. My only critiques are that the pillows could be nicer, and the pullout sofa bed isn't particularly comfortable (fine for kids!). Location is great, especially if you have your own car. Definitely not downtown but close to other services and restaurants.

It's Embassy Suites so what is there not to like? The unit is practically a one bedroom apartment. It has a washer and dryer. it has a small fridge, a microwave, and a coffee maker. It even has a desk if you need to work. The bed is extremely comfortable. It's in a quiet neighborhood and the staff is friendly and helpful. It has an on-site bar and restaurant. A nice breakfast spread is served and you can order an omelette to your liking. It's so comfortable that sometimes I don't want to leave the hotel. Moose's Tooth Pizzeria is around the corner so you are not far for a good pizza.

Nice clean hotel with a full breakfast and decent restaurant and bar. Rooms are large and spacious and clean. Hotel has a great presence and is adorned with full animal mounts that represent Alaska. The hotel is starting to look a bit dated but will serve both business customers as well as families and tourists. Like a lot of Anchorage the area has its share of sketchy characters and street people but not as many as downtown location. There is shopping and restaurants nearby but you may want to rent a car if you are staying more than a day as there isn’t much to see close by. Some of the staff were awesome and friendly. I would stay here again.

Very clean room! The pool was nice and warm and the jacuzzi was just the right HOT temperature! The breakfast was spot on! Friendly staff and we felt safe with the secured front entrance. Great location! We will definitely be returning soon!

Staff super friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean and modern. Pool and hot tub clean and warm, not overcrowded. Breakfast was simple basic but cooked perfect and eating area spacious and clean and not crowded. Work out room is tiny with two machines only. The stairs are cold and smell like smoke. The elevator is slow and only one. Overall a top choice and one of the best in price range.

Friendliest ever welcome at check-in, and they called to check on us moments after we got to the room too, to make sure all was well! We were greeted whenever we left our room; the breakfast offering was especially nice (including breakfast sandwiches for take-away, very convenient), and the team serving just wonderful. Our room was clean, and nicely appointed; airy and bright, with a beautiful view of the mountain, and big green trees providing some privacy in a city hotel. Great location, easy to get in and out, and close to many restaurants and shopping.

The location to the airport is fantastic. The pool and hottub are really nice and clean. The room was big and quiet. The room however was not very clean. The sink and toilet had spots in them and looked as if they had not been cleaned and one of the beds had a blood stained blanket under the bedspread.

It was a great stay from the professional friendly front desk - to a spotless newly renovated room - to cocktails at the bar with Stephanie - to an excellent hot breakfast - to a punctual free airport shuttle!!! This was our Best Courtyard experience in our titanium Marriott stays!!! We appreciate all staff at this location and highly recommend this as a 5 star hotel.

I was in Anchorage on business and needed a place to stay to access the airport. The Courtyard was a good choice. They have a free shuttle and are just a few minutes from the terminals. The rooms are what you expect of a Courtyard. The staff was super helpful - my flight arrived early and my room was not ready. They stored my luggage while I went on a brisk post-flight walk along Lake Hood (across the street) and called me when my room was ready. The bar is cozy and the bartender is friendly. The food from the bar was fine and not too expensive (remember you need to calibrate that statement with Alaska prices). I will stay here again next time.

Excellent hotel with a friendly and informative staff. Its a perfect location from the airport with easy access to connecting freeways. Decent breakfast service, convenient parking and comfortable beds. We were pleased with our stay and plan to stay here again in the future.

We are locals and we spent 1 night for my son’s bday.we love this hotel. Before it was being built I was working for securitas and I would secure the area so to be able to see its work and inside of it was very cool. Rooms are great, pool and jacuzzi was great, breakfast was awesome!! And for it to be in the middle of the theater and Walmart is a bonus!! Only downside is the kitchen crew was kind of rude. We let the man know that they were out of coffee and he made a comment saying, “yeah yeah we know just be patient.” I didn’t know someone already told him there’s no coffee because I was the last cup of fill. Then when he brought out the strawberries and my nephew was getting some he told my nephew, “don’t eat it all I don’t wanna cut anymore.” I thought, wow maybe someone needs to take a break. Then the lady that was very kind walking around clearing everyone’s table, she was very kind until she tried to trick my 9 year old nephew to wipe tables, straighten chairs and vacuum the breakfast area. He started wiping one table and was excited to help then when she told him to vacuum I was like hmmm it’s a big breakfast area to vacuum so I told my nephew to ask her what’s the pay, when he asked her she told him oh I don’t have money. So my nephew said oh okay sorry I can’t do it. LOL.. I taught my nephew, it is great to help but don’t get tricked into it because if the hotel is paying her to clean the breakfast area, she should Pay you to do her job!! Other than that, we had fun!

The staff was super friendly and the facility was well run. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing and had a large variety of items to pick from. There is a relaxing garden courtyard accessible from the breakfast area where we enjoyed our morning coffee.

Extremely kind and helpful staff - Tammy the manager was very helpful in suggesting things for us to do and where to eat. One of her colleagues even gave us some spare bear spray they had lying around when we mentioned we were going hiking, which saved us $40. We have never stayed somewhere with such consistently excellent staff. Room was clean and comfortable. Laundry was very helpful, free airport shuttle super easy to use and organise and breakfast was fine. Only real negative was the use of plastic cutlery and paper/cardboard plates and cups at breakfast, none of which were recycled. The environmental impact of the hotel would be measurably reduced if they were to use ceramic crockery and washable utensils and I hope this is something they consider in the future. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic in every way! Very friendly, beautiful decorated and furnished room, a/c was strong and very cold (we like it cold). Room was very clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Breakfast set up was top notch! Breakfast area was neat and clean and food was delicious!

My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with this hotel. The included breakfast was varied and delicious, and included items at times such as buttermilk biscuits, chicken fried steak, and pre-made omelets. The rooms were clean and quiet, and the kitchens had everything needed for cooking nightly dinners. The location was great for getting around, and the Walmart a few hundred yards away was ultra convenient. And of course, the staff was accommodating and friendly!

The staff was wonderful communication about the pool and jacuzzi was fantastic although found a mug root beer soda bottle behind the bed frame and popcorn above the microwave. Enjoyed the fact that the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner was above any where I’ve stayed at.

The best!!! Cleaner then any hotel in anchorage and the beds are so comfortable. Hotel and jacuzzi are amazing. I love how the toilet and shower are in different rooms!! The Continental breakfast was so good! Better then anywhere I’ve been. And the price beats everywhere nice as well. 149.00!! Everywhere else is over 200

My family and I visited Anchorage for a week and stayed at the Spring Hill suites university park location. We liked everything for the following reasons, the location is very quiet because is not in the center of town, the view to the snow covered mountains behind the hotel is amazing, rooms are big and clean. The bathroom is split in two separate rooms with separate doors, one for toilet and one for shower. They offer comfortable queen beds and sleeper sofa. Desk area and mini kitchen with microwave and mini fridge. Laundry is in the second floor, required quarter coins which you can get from the bill breaker machine in the laundry room. Indoors pool and jacuzzi, very clean as well. There's also a gym. Breakfast area is very clean and organized, they offered the same menu everyday scrambled eggs, meat patties, fruit, cereal, orange and apple juice, coffee, bagels, yogurt, etc. Breakfast is from 6:30am to 9pm, it gets crowded around 8 am. They have a small store for snacks and drinks by the front desk. Customer service is great, everyone working in the hotel is friendly and cares about your stay. Especially the people cleaning the public areas with the amount of snow people bring in on their boots, they keep up with the cleanliness of the lobby all day long. Well worth every penny spent.

We enjoyed our stay at the University Lake location. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of offerings which included your typical cereal, fruit, etc. Additionally they had breakfast sandwiches, quiche, and a nice selection of oatmeal toppings. Our teenagers' favorite was the mini scones that were available the first day and we drizzled them with the available fruit syrup. Yummy! Our room had a microwave, frig, and plenty of room. The toilet area was separate from the shower room which is always nice with a family getting ready for the day. Everything was really clean and seemed to be recently updated. The room had mountain views and there was an outdoor gas fireplace. The trail around University Lake is considered a dog park so be prepared for irresponsible pet owners (no fault of the hotels). The pool area was clean and in good repair. The hottub was the perfect temperature. My only very minor complaint is that there wasn't flavored coffee syrup :)

Let me start by saying I researched for HOURS before we stayed here. I found a lot of places in anchorage with 4-5 star reviews but the last 3 months of reviews were terrible. This was the only moderately priced place with still good reviews. So that being said l, I give it 5/5 for this area at this price, not because it’s a 5 start place. Room was nice and clean. The sheets were clean which is big for me. We turned the temp in the room down but the AC never kicked on and we were so hot sleeping. We finally opened the window for the second day and we’re a bit less hot. We liked that the bathroom was split up so one could shower while the other uses the toilet. Breakfast the first day was decent. I still think having to be downstairs by 920 am on a vacation is a bit much. They told us when we checked in breakfast was from 7-930 but they started shutting down at 920 when I got down there. There were eggs and sausage with a waffle makers and then some bagels. The second day, breakfast was pitiful, literally sausage and eggs (a couple bagels were there still). We did not checkout the pool. But the workout room was decent and had the minimum needed for a quick workout. We saw some homeless people hanging out by the trash cans outside but other than that felt it was a safe area. Overall would stay there again but wouldn’t depend on breakfast.

It was in the process of being renovated, the ladies at the front desk were helpful and it was a welcoming sight. The bed n breakfast area was clean. It was a quiet and peaceful. It was a first time for me. I would recommend it. There were restaurants nearby and gas sttions. Close to the airport. Shuttle on sight. Clean rooms and free wifi.

Friendly staff/ clean building, comfortable room and felt like it was a secure facility …. Free airport shuttle was very helpful and the driver was very nice and helpful with luggage. We did enjoy a great hot breakfast one the first morning — 2nd morning there was a kitchen problem with the ovens but still enjoyed yogurt and hot instant oatmeal. Workers were very friendly and apologetic for kitchen mishap. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Anchorage 😀

Staff were friendly and helpful on reception. Hotel and room was lovley and clean. Spacious room with a comfy bed. Breakfast options were great and kept going back for more. Would recommend and stay again if in the area

The breakfast had several hot and cold selections. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available all the time, even at 3 A.M. when we hat to leave for the airport. They offer a FREE shuttle to the airport, too. It is a very short drive to downtown Anchorage. The room and the bathroom were large and very clean. Beds were comfortable. The lobby is warm and welcoming with a fireplace and seating area. We will stay here again when visiting Anchorage.

The employees were very helpful and friendly! We had everything we needed. The breakfast area had a good variety of hot and cold foods. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious.

While in Anchorage Staff were engaging and obliging offering a good restaurant at Fancy Moose (excellent choice)and even offering to shuttle us to the establishment which they did. Impressed with variety at Complimentary breakfast. Its not a fancy 5 star hotel. But its clean and has good curb appeal we found the rooms to be clean and presentable. Finally a hotel that has a decent shower head massager that works, we found it to be good quality for the price in Anchorage Alaska and 5 mins from the airport.

Excellent value; friendly staff and extremely clean. I will definitely stay here again. It’s difficult to find nice, pet-friendly hotels in Anchorage, so I was very pleased. I would recommend the Baymont to anyone looking for a clean, friendly, no frills hotel when traveling through Anchorage.

They gave me a very quiet room, were professional, pleasant, and helpful at the counter, the room was recently remodeled and beautifully appointed, the breakfast was delicious, the parking was ample and well-lit and they have 24 hour security that walks around the parking lot.

Nice location - quiet and very near the airport. Free shuttle to/from airport. We asked for a room with a step-in shower due to mobility issues but ended up with a tub shower. It was a low-rise tub, so my wife did o.k. with assistance. Breakfast was about average for budget hotels that include a free breakfast.

5 friends stayed Saturday night on our way to Homer for a fishing trip. Rented 5 rooms. All in all it provided us with a comfortable, clean, safe place to stay that was convenient to the airport. Front desk personnel were friendly and offered helpful suggestions to downtown restaurants. We paid $144 per room using Expedia which was a great price in comparison to others. All in all good place to stay which we recommend. Enjoyed breakfast, however the eggs were terrible.

Nice spacious rooms, breakfast was fair. Clean property and centrally located. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was a bit pricey in my opinion. Traveling with my adult daughter, I felt very safe at this property. Front desk clerks were very helpful. I would stay here again.

I slept well in my queen bed. The room was clean and spacious! The pool was clean and warm and I got to swim solo! The tv screen was quite big and the sound was good. Breakfast was ready earlier than predicted and I loved the variety. I had scrambled eggs, sausage and coffee. I passed on many other delicious looking items including yogurt, muffins and waffles. I loved my stay here, got a great deal, and would certainly come back.

Very clean accommodations in a central location near airport and dining options. Room is comfortable and quiet and is a nice size for sharing with family. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is provided and is quite good.

Newly renovated so everything was up to date and working. Quiet, clean comfortable rooms. Easy to walk to many restaurants and to bus line (though harder to figureout). Downside breakfast didnt start until 630am.

Expected more from Crowne Plaza as their UK hotels are much better. The room was nice enough. However the corridors and pool area needs a facelift. The Jacuzzi is useless compared to others I have used and the gym is a joke with barely anything in it. I found the staff ok. However we asked for a blanket as the room was cold and they brought up a mattress topper instead. If money is no object this hotel is ok. However it's worth looking at Air BNB in Anchorage instead as this and the other hotels are so expensive and Crowne Plaza is not worth what they are charging (we were there in September).

The room was beautiful and comfortable. Amazing pillows. Quiet location near the Anchorage airport with a few walkable restaurants and fast food options nearby. We ate at the nearby Bear Paw Bar & Grill and it was good. We basically needed a bed and shower between a late train from Denali NP and an early morning flight out the next day and this hotel met that need. We weren't there long enough to enjoy any hotel features offered.

We stayed at this hotel on four different evenings and it was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and beds were so cozy. The restaurant provided an amazing breakfast which you are given vouchers for upon check-in. Staff was friendly and shuttle service to and from the airport was reliable.

Good location. Nice breakfast buffet. The swimming pool and hot tub were nice and very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also my room was made up every day. The one day housekeeping didn’t arrive I requested service and they came by which was nice. Smoke parking for my rental.

After staying in cabins and motels in very beautiful parts of Alaska, it was a treat to stay in this hotel for our last night - spacious, quiet, clean, comfortable room. Friendly reception. Easy no charge parking and 11 minutes to airport. Just right for us!

The staff was wonderful! They helped load my three 50 pound suitcases and 100 lb German Shepherd and his extra large kennel into their hotel shuttle at the airport. When we arrived at the hotel, they put all my luggage in my spacious room while I walked my dog. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of hot and cold choices. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. It's not fancy but excellent for the price. Again, clean is important to me. New fixtures are not. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The sheets were soft and clean, and they didn't have a nasty bleach/chemical smell. It was a nice place to stay after a long flight. My husband is staying there again this month. We will definitely be staying here every time we need a hotel room in Anchorage.

Inn was super clean. It is dated but economical and clean. Offers free transportation shuttle and the driver is polite and friendly Picked us up at the airport. Took us downtown to dine and walk around and picked us up when we called. We tipped nicely. The are looks sketchy but we were safe and sound. You want affordable and clean with friendly staff choose Merrill Fields Inn. And they have a nice free breakfast

We've enjoyed our stay in the Motel. Really nothing to complain about given the fact Merrill Field Inn is more affordable versus other options. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly Staff. We were very positively surprised with breakfest - fresh, tasty and with quite a lot of options to choose. Overall, good value for money.

Arrived Anchorage on a red eye and needed an affordable and close place to rest my 16hr tired traveling head. Found this little gem, read the reviews and decided to take a chance and boy am I glad I did! Prepaid my room, single queen #215, for about HALF the price of chains that were comparable. Called the hotel for the complimentary shuttle at 145am and it was there in under 30minutes. Driver was a true delight. Check in was effortless, told about morning breakfast, hot and cold, and dragged my bags up the flight of stairs to my room. There are no elevators on site so if mobility is an issue be sure to let them know when you boon. My room was cozy, good size. I think it was recently renovated with newer carpet and fresh paint. Bed was a little firm for me but had no trouble sleeping at all. All the critter comforts you could want to include hair dryer, microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker. The staff is likely the best feature of the property...beyond helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again. Just remember to set reasonable expectations and you'll b3 delighted.

The Inn is great value for money. The free shuttle with its driver, Antony, really sets this hotel apart from the crowd. Antony picked me up at the airport, took me to my tours, and dropped me off at the railway station - exceptional service! The room was large, clean, and comfortable. I even liked the homely decor. I also liked the pots of flowers around the outside All the staff were friendly and tried their best to be helpful. The hot breakfast was a delightful surprise (only in summer). It was especially good because there weren't any cafes around

The room was enormous with a Jacuzzi in the living space. There was also a bathroom with a shower and a bathtub,

The jacuzzi bath tub was the entire reason for our stay and it didn't disappoint

Nice quiet hotel. Perfect place for a romantic getaway. Checkin was easy, staff was professional, room was clean, comfortable bed and roomy bathroom. The only inconvenient thing is not being close to a grocery store. There are convenient stores close by but a bit spendy.

The location of the room provided a full view of the parking lot, which was nice to keep an eye on my vehicle. The bed was decently comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and spacious. The balcony was a nice touch.

We were expecting low quality since we booked the cheapest hotel we could find within walking distance of the train depot. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find a clean, quiet hotel with incredibly friendly staff and an around the clock free airport shuttle service. Our airport shuttle driver was particularly friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel especially if you're planning on riding the train, it was a very short walk.

We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. Front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. We stayed in a beautiful corner room, 1449, with a view of the mountains and the water. The room was equipped with a ceiling fan, an in-room safe, a small refrigerator, a coffee maker, a small table and two chairs. The king-sized bed had a night stand on either side, and each had a device for charging. In addition, there was a desk with a chair and a closet. Housekeeping was daily (a rarity these days) and one could request evening turndown service if desired. The bathroom was the split type. It had modern fixtures, and the most powerful flushing toilet I’ve ever encountered. The “split” resulted in a toilet that is very close to the bathtub. The outer part had a long narrow counter which allowed room for toiletries, etc. A couple of areas for improvement: Housekeeping was thorough except the empty box of tissues was not replaced, and the toilet paper was not replenished on the second day. I expected the hotel would have the full size shampoo, condition and body wash that have become common, but they only provide the tiny single use bottles and a small bar soap. We had the bed and breakfast rate which allowed a $30 credit per room each day. This allowed for a modest breakfast in their Pantry restaurant each morning. If we return to Anchorage in the future, we wouldn’t stay elsewhere.

I recently stayed here for 4 nights for a work-related meeting and I was sorry to leave. First, the service at this hotel is truly remarkable—whether its the housekeeper warmly greeting me every morning, the desk attendant at the gym/spa who offered to give me a tour, or the manager, Brian, who changed my room after my first night to one that better met my needs, everyone went above and beyond and was friendly. Second, the location is excellent, with many top Anchorage restaurants and gift shops nearby, including the hotel’s own wonderful stores. The top floors of the hotel boast beautiful views of the Cook Inlet/mountains, or the Chugach range. Third, the Crow’s Nest bar and restaurant have excellent cocktails, views, food and especially service. And finally, while I agree with the reviews that the rooms and hotel are a bit worn, the rooms are clean and spacious enough, with windows that actually open. I will absolutely stay here again next time I’m in Anchorage!

The largest hotel in Anchorage used by many cruise lines, ours included. That creates lots of traffic in the lobby and having to wait in line to get into some of the restaurants. Restaurants are understaffed which makes for slow and not particularly good service. Breakfasts at The Pantry were good and hearty. Dinner at the bar at Crow’s Nest, restaurant on the top floor, was average, although the views were gorgeous. Also have a surprisingly ample selection of wines and spirits. Rooms were large and comfortable, although need to be renewed; rug a little grungy. Having said all that, the service was friendly and helpful, particularly at the front desk and concierge.

I have stayed here multiple times over the years. This three night stay was again a five star experience. This trip I was in an updated room which felt more modern than the older room Alaskana brown interior ambiance. Wifi was also great for a change. Valet were always timely. Front desk was helpful. The Cubby served great coffee and was staffed to handle long lines early morning. Fletchers restaurant is one of my favorite go to places but this time the seafood chowder was awful. Whales Tail restaurant has a strange vibe and poor service. Hotel staff know how to handle hordes of cruisers efficiently. I managed to stay clear of the hordes this trip. Hotel is perfect for downtown walking, restaurants and pubs.

Great choices for dining plus a coffee bar. Staff everywhere is so kind and accommodating from the front desk to restaurant staff and a super helpful doorman. My room was very clean, had nice toiletries and hot drink options. I checked out an hour late with no problem and the staff kindly stored my bag for the day until I finished activities of day before going to the airport. It’s a bit pricey, but nice to be spoiled in a relaxing, comfortable environment.

Booked this hotel for just one night due to it's immediate proximity to the airport. It was dark and rainy when I drove a crappy rental car to the hotel. It was very difficult to find the road and the corect turns to get to this property. This is the last bad thing in my review. The desk clerk was friendly and checkin was quick. The 2nd floor room exceeded expectations. Upgraded flooring and furnishings. Very clean. Plenty of cups. A second sink near the microwave makes it super convenient to wash hands, etc. Fridge was larger than the mini-compact versions and chilled well. Lots of mirrors (important considerations when traveling with a group who are all doing their hair in the morning!). Breakfast was also excellent - VERY CLEAN and well maintained. 2 waffle makers - one regular, one with 4 mini waffles. Awesome touch for kids. In addition to the usual offerings, there were hard boiled eggs, yogurt, granola bars, breads, wrapped pastries, fresh whole fruit. Coffee and water in the lobby at all times. Glad I stayed here again 2 nights later. 1st floor room was equally excellent. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The staff, especially driver Charlie, are so nice, attentive, welcoming, and helpful. The room was a nice large size, the bed very comfortable, clean, and quiet. There’s a refrigerator and microwave in the room with a convenience store area which sells drinks, snacks, and microwave meals in the hotel. There’s a restaurant within walking distance. Breakfast is served at the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

Staff were welcoming , helpful and very friendly. Swimming pool was clean and well prepared with clean towels etc. The room had everything you could need and anything that wasn’t there then the front desk staff could arrange. Breakfast was nice and had plenty to choose from. Staff member on the desk could have not been more helpful.

Charlie picked us up at Anchorage airport and was super friendly and helpful. He offered to drive a few of us over to a nearby restaurant for dinner after we checked in and he came back to pick us up afterwards. Comfortable room. Good breakfast in the morning. Perfect for a 1 night stay before a cruise.

The hotel was nice and clean, breakfast was great, pool was clean and nice also. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of coffee in the lobby and also lemon water. A fun time was had by all. The staff was constantly cleaning and making sure everything was stocked at breakfast. Thank you!

The water in the room we stay in did not work. Couldn’t shower. There was a jacuzzi in room but it didn’t work either and did not have hot water. Beautiful place. Sad that a bad bathroom was their down fall.

I was looking for an affordable place, with free parking and breakfast. Check in was easy - host will leave an envelope on the front door with your name, to get you in. I kind of worry for the owner's safety by doing this. Room key will be stuck in your room door. This a home, so floors and stairs make noise and walls are thin. If you're here for a homely place to just sleep, this is fine. If you're planning on taking conference or meeting calls, others will definitely hear you. Owner is kind to let people store their luggage in the living room all day and come back whenever to pick them up. I came during off-season, so did not experience tight parking issues. However, perhaps making the curvy lawn shorter might give cars more room. At night there are a lot of lamp posts, so it's well-lit. The room I stayed in confusingly had a door in the bathroom that led to the hallway - I locked it during my stay. My bathroom was the one with the big jacuzzi tub; for tall people the bathroom sink is really short and I was just under 5ft. Keep that in mind if planning to stay. There were many light switches for the bathroom and maybe labels might help differentiating which is for where. Talk with the owner to settle payment of room.

We had a wonderful stay at the Deals’ BnB. The couple running at our lovely. We felt right at home! The room was clean and comfortable. There wasn’t any A/C but the weather was comfortable when we were there so we didn’t have any problems. The breakfast in the morning was delicious! Great spread and tasty. We loved the personal touch, in terms of the host coming to receive us and helped us check in (although we reached a little later during the night), gave us local recommendations. If we ever are in the area again, we will definitely stay at this place again! Highly recommend it.

Clean, cozy, welcoming place! Kathryn was a very gracious and accommodating host. She provided to-go breakfasts when we had to leave early one morning, and served a delicious hot breakfast on our other morning there. This property is located in a residential neighborhood, and is very quiet. I can't recommend it enough!

Clean, well appointed room. Had everything we needed (even a corkscrew and bubble bath). Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We met interesting people at breakfast each day. Host was friendly and helpful, a wellspring of local knowledge for dining and activities. I would definitely stay here again.

The home-cooked breakfast was delicious! The hosts created a warm, welcoming atmosphere at the dining table and provided hot, cooked breakfasts, including pancakes with reindeer sausage, and fresh fruit, orange juice, and coffee. Maria served a fresh quiche for breakfast one morning! The guest room was very clean and comfortable with a peaceful view of the woods and creek. Maria’s place is comfortable, homey and very clean. The room was cozy and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the neighborhood nice and quiet. A perfect home away from home. Maria and Robert are delightful hosts. They are kind, personable and helpful. I enjoyed good conversation over an excellent breakfast. I would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable stay at Maria’s Creekside B&B. Everything was very clean, cozy and tidy. All I really look for is clean sheets and good water pressure. Top notch on both counts. Maria and Robert were excellent hosts. As an Alaska native, Robert had great recommendations on where to go and what to do. When initially booking, reading some reviews gave me pause. A handful of reviews mention a bad neighborhood and a “seedy” park nearby. Those reviews are overblown. The neighborhood indeed has public housing, but nothing remarkable for a large city. We never felt unsafe. The park was great for an afternoon stroll through the ‘snowing’ Cottonwood trees along the Campbell Creek. Birch and Alder trees also line this salmon run, and the park is well-maintained. The backyard was equally enjoyable, with patio furniture and a quiet view of the tumbling creek rolling by. The front door combo lock was always a menacing threat. Hah. Our code did not work when first checking-in and we were worried we may be locked out after enjoying the nightlife on Day 3 … We were causally told that the combo may be changing at midnight earlier in the day. After a text message went unanswered, we made a quick phone call and we were reassured that the code would not change overnight. Crisis averted. Haha Would def book again and would recommend to anyone. Thank you.

Lovely Bed and Breakfast. Great location next to a park. Home was quiet, comfortable, and clean and the hosts were very friendly. Breakfast was delicious too!

Maria met us at the door and showed us where to park and helped us inside where we signed the paperwork for the room. We got a key code for the front door & a key to our room. The room was spacious & cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. The grounds were charming and well cared-for and there were many options for seating/tables, places to lounge, and games/books. The bed was super creaky with any movement (turning over, getting in & out of bed) which made sleeping a little bit difficult, but the mattress was very comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and Maria made sure we had coffee/juice and cooked everything to order. She & Robert were a pleasure to chat with & they made us feel very welcome. We would definitely like to book with them again in the future!

We had a fantastic stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites Anchorage! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived — nothing was too much trouble, and they made us feel right at home. The location is excellent — close to lots of great bars and restaurants, and it’s super convenient if you’re planning to explore beyond the city, with easy access to the Alaska 1 highway. It made getting around really simple. Our room was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The bed was especially comfy, which was perfect after long days of adventuring. We also really appreciated the breakfast each morning — lots of options, fresh food, and plenty to eat to start the day right. All in all, a great base for our time in Anchorage. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone visiting the area!

Nice Hotel. Close to lots of restaurants and the airport. We found the rooms and general areas clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good, nothing special but they have coffee service all day which is a plus. Beds were comfortable, decent water pressure in the shower. Wifi was good. Check-in and check-out were fairly quick and efficient. Ashley at the front desk was especially helpful and friendly. Only thing I would like to point out, our room was small (boutique size). Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this La Quinta very much! They provided shuttle service from the train depot, and to the airport which helped simplify our travel itinerary. The room was clean and comfortable. And, last but certainly not least, they provided a truly exceptional breakfast the next morning. Their breakfast staff are outstanding!!! They were helpful, friendly and welcoming. It was the nicest breakfast service we've ever had.

Text: Good value for Anchorage in the winter, convenient to airport. Single King Bed room was a little small but cozy nonetheless. Breakfast is ok, fresh made waffles is an option. Personnel onsite are helpful, welcoming and responsive (got my towels less than five minutes after requesting them). Facility is good quality and relatively clean, in stark contrast to another hotel I stayed at near the airport. As this is close to Spenard there are a few homeless roaming the parking lot looking to take what they can from your cars so keep them locked. I gave two rum cakes to a man/woman scavenging in the dumpster nearby late one night. On the way back in, hotel security, being very proactive and attentive, kindly reminded me to LOCK my rental truck, which I thought I did, but the next morning, I guess the rum cakes were so tasty, they decided to raid the rest that were intended for my board LOL. Merry Christmas

We loved our stay here! The front desk staff was friendly, I loved the check in online early so my in person check in only took a minute. The room was clean and new, shower was amazing, bathroom was spacious. The whole hotel was clean and quiet, great breakfast selection. Will definitely stay here again next time!

Great rooms while I'm on call fir work it's closest to my work I'm able to go back n forth very comfy beds rooms very clean and neat James and Angie are very good n best to been so helpful n welcoming assisting to make my stay the best to housekeepers they really do good job maintaining the cleanliness n how clean n smell good the rooms ,beds,and whole place is just so clean n comfortable also it's so quiet n peaceful place

Aptel is a good hotel at an affordable price, especially for Anchorage. Almost all the other hotels around Anchorage near the price of Aptel are ugly dogs. Many other hotels around Anchorage at the price point of Aptel are uncleaned properly, have unsafe parking areas, and highly unacceptable customer service personnel. Aptel has clean rooms with a meaningful kitchenette, including a full size refrigerator, full size microwave, an electric flat top cooktop, and a good many clean cabinets to place supplies in. The bathroom is very clean with good toilet psper, great towels, hand towels and wash cloths. A full size and clean bathtub/shower with a shower curtain that is designed outward at the top so that the curtain doesn't get in your way when showering. The parking lot is well lit, and there are enough parking spaces. I have stay at this Aptel 4 times now. My experience is consistent. I plan to use this Aptel in the future.

I stay here twice during a two week trip. Quiet at night. Nice room with kitchenette. Friendly, helpful staff. Pretty view of the Chugach mountains from the room. Good WiFi. Good shower with lots of hot water. Room could have been a bit cleaner. Floor needed vacuuming and bedding had stains. I would stay here again.

This hotel was pleasant to stay at all three days I was there. The counter staff was friendly and very helpful. There was a security guard patrolling the well lit parking area. The room was VERY clean. No left behinds from any other guests. The bed linen was without spot. The kitchenette was nice and featured a full size refrigerator and a full size microwave built into the ventahood. Two flat surface burners if you want to heat up something the old fashion way. The bath towels were clean, and so was the vanity and the bath/shower room. The toilet paper is on a pedestal so that you can place it where you want it. I was surprised as this was my first stay. I intend to return. It is difficult to find this quality at this price range anywhere else in Anchorage.

The hotel itself was great. Very clean and well maintained. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful, very kind. I loved that I could have my dogs. The outside area of the hotel was nice and clean as well. The parking lot is big which is nice. The area/ neighborhood around the hotel doesn’t seem particularly great as there is a boarded up mall right next to it, but it’s not horrible. Overall, I would stay here again as long as I had a car to drive to get to other things like the grocery store and restaurants and didn’t need to walk.

From the time we checked in until we checked out the staff was super friendly and helpful. Everyone at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The dining options at the hotel were also very reasonable. "Kiki", the young lady who ran the restaurant, was so helpful to all the guests and wanted to make sure everyone was happy with their meal and bar options. All of these people deserve raises. Our room was beautiful and quiet.

First, I’m a hotel snob. Prefer full service high end properties. I am Marriott Platinum. I come to Anchorage several times a year for business. I prefer to stay downtown for my business plus restaurants are in walking distance. I’ve tried the Hilton, Marriott, and Sheraton that are located downtown, and all of them are a bit rough around the edges and in need of major updates. This time I chose Four Points which is Sheraton, now part of Marriott. Most hotels were booked and I was not optimistic that I’d like Four Points. I was wrong. The rooms have been recently completely updated. I had a king suite, with two huge flat screen TV’s. The bathroom was upgraded to include a glassed in shower. It was warm in July and my AC worked great, unlike the antiquated systems at the Hilton snd Sheraton. Also, I had my dates screwed up and arrived a day early. Even with a full hotel, front desk employee Flo, found me a room to fix my mistake and better, it was ready when I arrived at 10:30 AM. (Flo was so nice and helpful, someone needs to give her a raise). One more thing, the breakfast was great! Freshly made scrambled eggs, from cracked eggs, not a carton. Real bacon, not that pre-done fake bacon they serve at Residence Inn. The hotel is older, the common areas are a bit dated, but my room was clean, quiet, attractive, updated and I could control my rooms temperature. Great stay, and I’m picky!

Good central location in Downtown Anchorage. Only a few blocks from the transit center. Most things in Downtown are an easy walk from this location and the bus system can get you everywhere else. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and friendly! Onsite bar and restaurant have enough items to satisfy if you want to stay in.

Great stay. The hotel is in a walkable distance to some attractions in city centre. Staff friendly and supportive. And the room is excepcional, spacious, confortable, with a living room, fridge, Coffee, plus.... Today they gave us a free complimentary breakfast. And the restaurant very recommrnded. We stayed a couple of nights at this Marriott and had an excellent experience. Definitely one of the top hotels in Anchorage. How were the staff? 10 out of 10 - The hotel staff were all excellent. The front desk staff were super friendly and really made you feel welcome on arrival. How clean was the hotel? 10 out of 10 - The public areas and rooms were spotless. Towels and bed linen were fresh and clean. The hotel feels like a new building. How were the facilities? 9 out of 10 - All that you would expect of a high-quality hotel. This Marriott has a coffee shop and restaurant on the ground floor. The hotel is a short walk from the center of downtown. A convenient covered car park (self-park and fee) is situated beside the hotel. No gift shop in the lobby. How did you sleep? 10 out of 10 - Perfect night's sleep. Very comfortable room. No noise from other guests. How was breakfast? We opted to take a 5-minute walk to the Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop. This bakery was recommended by local friends. Would you stay here again? Absolutely YES. This Marriott is on the expensive side, but it lived up to expectations.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. The room was clean, spacious, and had a beautiful view of the mountains and water. Housekeeping did a great job every day, and the amenities were all well-maintained. The bed was especially comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep after long days exploring. Special thanks to the front desk and concierge team for making my stay smooth and enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Anchorage — whether for business or vacation. There are pages and pages of 5 star reviews here about awesome servers etc. People are more interested in the hotel standing and overall quality. Having said that, my one week stay was great. Convenient location. Modern and clean room. Housekeeping managed to service the room every day unlike my last stay. Valet were always on time with my car but sometimes preoccupied with the scores of cruiser suitcases. Breakfast buffet was OK but the egg station guy was spot on with over medium eggs. I waited forever to get a second cup of coffee and some water. Executive lounge breakfast was repetitive but good. Evening snacks were underwhelming. Both lounge attendants were helpful. Room rate value was marginal but its high season in downtown Anchorage. I prefer the port view rooms since mountain view rooms tend to have connecting doors. Almost 5 stars. Go to Fire Island Bakery. Its one of the best

The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The rooms was very clean and stocked well! It was a pleasure to stay there!! The restaurant had a breakfast buffet. It had the most delicious food I've had in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection! They even made us a waffle that was awesome. Renz, the manager/owner made sure everything was perfect for us even though we came in late, He went out of his way to make us feel welcome and appreciated! We haven't seen excellent service like this in a long time! Thank you, Renz for the great hospitality and excellent service!

The bed stood out here as exceptional. The property was clean and well maintained. Our room was spacious and in very good working order. Hotel staff were very helpful. The in house restaurant was expensive but the breakfast buffet was quite good, offering omelets and waffles to order, plus abundant fruits. Most of the guests appeared to be tour groups. There is a bar in the hotel too.

Yevett working the breakfast bar was extremely hospitable, helpful and went Above and Beyond by chasing me down when my family and I headed towards our vehicle to see if the bag left by the coffee bar was ours. It was. Our son forgot it there. Thank you so much Yevett! Staff at the front desk and housekeeping was very friendly and patient which I appreciated and our room was clean and inviting.

Extremely spacious, impeccably clean, very comfortable, and with modern amenities and great breakfast. I tried to find anything to be picky about, but I couldn't. Even the shower head is adjustable, and the furniture is super comfortable and practical.

We spent three nights here before boarding a cruise in Whittier. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was just okay. There are a few restaurants within walking distance, but it was necessary to take a cab to downtown attractions. The hotel was happy to call one, however, and it was not expensive. There are also tours that offer hotel pickup.

My parents and I stayed here the last 2 nights we were in Alaska. This hotel is located close to the airport, as well as a lake with sea planes all along the edge of the entire lake. We really enjoyed watching the sea planes take off and land. Another bonus of staying at this hotel is the attached restaurant, Piper’s. The wait staff were personable, the food was delicious, and adult beverages were available. The outside of the hotel was nice, with lovely rock and wood siding. The exterior lights on the building were cool; lots of beautiful and colorful flowers were around the exterior of the hotel. Upon entering the hotel, we were promptly greeted by the very kind staff. The huge lobby was cozy and inviting with numerous chairs, tables, a television, and a beautiful rock fireplace. Attached to the lobby were desks for computer work and also a big screen with the incoming and outgoing flight updates. Our room was clean, cozy, yet roomy, and the bed was so comfortable!! The bathroom was modern, roomy, and clean with a large quantity of towels. The room included a small refrigerator and microwave. The hotel really was nice and our stay was very enjoyable! The photos I attached will give you an idea, although they don’t do it justice. I’d definitely stay here again!

Older hotel that was well kept. Clean, comfortable beds and able to fit our family of 6 in the suite (two queens and a sofa bed). Staff was friendly and helpful when we needed extra linens to set up the sofa bed. On-site restaurant was very good and priced better than other area restaurants we had been too. Nice location near lake with float planes. 24hr on call availability of airport shuttle was perfect for our 4am ride to the airport. Less than 5 min from airport. Would stay there again.

Our 2nd night a week later was better. We also were able to take advantage of the early morning shuttle service to airport on leaving as well as the freezer storage for our wonderful catch. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean comfortable room. Restaurant dinner this stay was better than last weeks stays breakfast as we were only there for one meal each stay. Nice location close to main airport and on float plane lake. Would book again.

Proximity to airport is good and less than 10 mins to CBD. Staff were helpful and accomodating. Rooms on 2 levels but no lift so be aware with big bags. Baggage storage was great. Restaurant was pub/sports bar and seating in and out. Menu was good and meals large. Breakfast is basic and not cheap. Staff were not that attentive like those the previous evening even though wasn’t busy. Liked the aviation theme throughout the property. Rooms big albeit a little dated. Some have views to the lake but not many.

The lodge was very convenient to airport. The lobby is dated but clean, the staff courteous and friendly. 4th floor hallway being renovated was visually nasty and we should have been told ahead of time, BUT our room was very clean and spacious, bed very comfortable and sheets crispy clean. Nice hot water for shower, and good complimentary breakfast buffet with friendly service.

Our recent stay at The Lakefront Anchorage was a definite success story. In town for a family event, and not familiar with the city at all, we opted for a local hotel close to everything we might want to do. Additionally, we wanted to have food service options at the hotel, so we wouldn't have to be constantly driving around for food. The amenities at The Lakefront Anchorage are well worth the booking. Terrific buffet breakfast or order as you go, and available until 11 am! They also have a separate dining area for lunch or dinner, drinks or dessert, whatever you fancy. Great service, friendly and energetic staff. Additionally, the front staff are courteous and helpful, willing to help with any issue you may have. Our room was clean and comfortable, and (most importantly) quiet and with room darkening shades. Very important in the summer months in Alaska! We highly recommend this facility for a great combination of value, excellent services and perfect location.

Exceptional selection of linen’s and towels. Very clean and comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. A great value for this well maintained establishment. The restaurant is nice and their food is very good also. A popular restaurant and bar with the local community.

The Lakefront is definitely a 5 star in my opinion. The restaurant was amazing, fish tacos highly recommend. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and helpful. The airport shuttle was easy to use and the driver was so helpful.

Love the hotel. Only drawback is the restaurant closes at 10 pm which is confusing when the restaurant is still packed at that time. Bartenders were super friendly though! Food was good. Had the crab dip and a wedge salad. Would definitely recommend staying here! Views are phenomenal at the restaurants! Rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. The vending machine on my floor wasn't working but you can buy snacks in the lobby.

Decorative boutique hotel within walking distance to all of downtown Anchorage including the train! Rooms are uniquely appointed and comfortable with all expectations: coffee, safe, toiletries, etc. Goodies and drinks for sale in room. Enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Crimson restaurant. And the coffee bar makes a fantastic cappuccino! As a newly renovated hotel, we had a maintenance issue, which was addressed promptly. Biggest drawback - this hotel is a city block long with the lobby and restaurant at one end - your room can be closer to other commercial cafes than Crimson. Additionally, the only elevator going to all room floors is at the far end of the hotel - a haul with luggage on the carpet! Ask for a 2nd floor (Street level) room closer to the lobby for convenience. Or at least choose a 3rd floor room with a view if you have to walk the hall to the elevator. We had a 1st floor basement room with a parking lot view - okay if you like to be near your car (but, we didn't have one). We would definitely return to Wildbirch Hotel if our travels take us to downtown Anchorage.

Really great hotel, very central location so very good for the local bars and restaurants also very convenient for the railroad depot. The hotel is in the process of being renovated when we stayed so the room was very new and modern with very nice designed furniture and a good sized bathroom. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, so overall it is a great place to stay in downtown Anchorage.

We loved it here even though it was only for one night. The hotel and room were beautifully designed. The room was clean and had many amenities and lots of seating options. The bed was so comfortable and towels were plush. The shower was great and many areas to hang towels/clothes. It may be something silly but I hate when hotel bathrooms only have one hook to hang things. The most annoying thing was the walk to the room. The floors have thick carpet so it makes rolling a suitcase difficult and it can be quite a walk. I felt like I was on a cruise ship walking to my room. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were lovely there as well. Hotel is in a convenient location, very close to shops and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Very recently remodeled hotel with super comfortable rooms and nice, clean facility. Security present on site and in parking lot and food was amazing, the best we had in Anchorage. Beds were VERY comfy and location is wonderful for walking downtown. Globalist benefits were very nicely offered and we want to return next year. Parking was easy to use and you are within five blocks of almost everything. We tried a lot of restaurants but the best food we had was at the hotel restaurant and the little coffee shop was also fabulous.

Staying in Alaska during prime summer season is always pricey. We stayed three nights here as we explored and were delighted. Sheets and towels were excellent, bed comfy. Hotel staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, again served with great service. Loved the selection in their gifts shop, too, complete with pastries and interesting keepsakes. We chose location because of its walkable location to downtown, the Tony Knowles trail (rented e bikes for a great ride — complete with moose), and hop skip and jump away from the Alaska Railroad.
