Beautiful hotel with character. We have got the room upgrade for free which was very pleasant. The bathroom with jacuzzi was really impressive!

We were provided with a lovely large comfortable room for our 4 night stay. It was spotlessly clean and the shower was amazing. That said, considerable outside noise from roadworks and rather early local church bells were not ideal. However, we appreciate that these are things beyond the hotel's control. Breakfast was courteously serviced but we would suggest eating at the beginning of breakfast service as items did run out. Parking at the sister hotel a few minutes walk away was perfectly convenient. More widely, we loved Baden-Baden. Our long panaramic walk in the forest, our time spent in the historic Spa and our evening watching an absolutely brilliant play at the beautiful local theatre were among the highlights.

Amazing stay! The hotel is very classic and beautiful! All of the staff were very kind and helpful from the servers in the restaurant to the people at the reception desk. Breakfast was very good with a lot of food options. Drink options included specialty coffees, juices, teas, and even mimosas. The rooms are spacious with plenty of Storage and the hotel is in a convenient location. We enjoyed our time here and will recommend Der Kler Prinz to anyone traveling to Baden-Baden.

This very fancy hotel with a friendly staff is located in downtown Baden Baden. The historical vibe of this hotel is definitely an asset! It offers a clean room, a comfy bed, and a tasty breakfast buffet in the morning. There's a hotel parking closeby.

Excellent location; grand old building that is well maintained; we had a quiet and spacious junior suite facing away from the street; buffet breakfast has a wide selection of tasty dishes; we enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna, clean and quiet; convenient parking underneath the hotel; staff are friendly and attentive; check-in and checkout was efficient and hassle-free. All in all a very enjoyable stay!

Our stay at Maison Messmer Spa Hotel was fabulous! Everyone who works there was wonderful to us. They were very friendly, fun to talk to and even willing to help us with our terrible German. The location is excellent. Only a five minute walk to the center of town. Lots of shops, restaurants and a beautiful path along the canal are only a few steps away. We walked over to the famous Friedrichsbad spa in about 10 minutes. Absolutely a must do if you are in Baden Baden. The spa at Maison Messmer was also very well appointed with high quality facilities. They have a steam-room, sauna, massage rooms, quiet rooms for resting and a swimming pool. There is also a section of the pool where they have the most powerful bubble maker we’ve ever seen. We were a little embarrassed because we were like a couple of kids playing around in the volcano of air. You definitely have to try that if you stay there. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was first rate. The only issue we had was we were not able to book breakfast included through Expedia. They have a really nice breakfast buffet for 32 euros that we highly recommend. Most of the other guests were able to include breakfast with their room but apparently Expedia doesn’t support it. When we go back to Baden Baden we are definitely staying at the Maison Messmer Spa Hotel.

A charming and beautiful building in an amazing town right by the Casino and steps from restaurants and Lichtentaler Allee. The executive rooms with terrace are definitely worth it for morning coffee city views. The hotel's spa and gym are very nice, they are maintained and kept pretty clean at all times. The staff were also very nice and helpful. The only negative is what all other reviews mentioned, the towels, bathrobes, and even the bedding were very old that my pillow case was shredding. I've never experienced this even at 3 star hotels. It wasn't excellent but a pretty good stay.

Great location, central, everything in walking distance. Calmst night! We were in the 4th floor and the view was fantastic towards the town. The breakfast was 5 star!!! Never had such a variety of dishes!! We only had breakfast and then dinner- that was enough to keep us going. A friend came to share a cappuccino with us at breakfast. I wanted to pay for it and the reception but they offered it👍.

Wonderful surroundings, wonderful host. The rooms are very clean, quiet and spacious. The owner is exceptionally warm and friendly and gives excellent tips that make the overall stay very enjoyable. We felt extremely comfortable in this guesthouse.

The room was very spacious and, while from a Belle Epoque was very tastefully done. I very much liked the wooden floors and the jacuzzi. The breakfast was very extensive and included in the price. Very comfy bed !

The belle epoque hotel takes you back in time to a beautiful, aristocrat era. Luxurious without being pretentious. The staff were all very friendly, kind, helpful and anticipated your needs without having to ask. They all remembered my coffee order after the first morning. Breakfast was served in a sumptuous dining room. The selection was delicious having both indulgent and healthy options. The garden just off the dining room is an oasis in the middle of the town. They serve tea between 3-5. And set you up in front of a cozy fireplace. The tea selection was huge and delicious. The room is large with a vey comfortable bed ( I have difficulties sleeping and slept through the night). The bathroom has a shower and a huge jacuzzi tub with an extra paid option where they bring you goodies for a beautiful experience. The location was a two minute walk to all the shops. I fell in love with this charming hotel and will definitely be back.

Everything was perfect. The hotel is a beauty - a 19th centure palais which has kept its atmosphere while including nearly all modern amenities (no elevator, though, only stairs). We stayed at the main building, in a beautiful suite with balcony, ac and a whirlpool where everything was, again, perfect. Breakfast is sumptuous, the breakfast rooms are stylish; weather permitting, you can also have breakfast on the terrace or in the garden near the fountain. During the day, you can also lounge at the garden, near the fountain or in the shade under the trees. There is free afternoon tea and cake and you can get drinks in the evening at the fireplace or, again, in the garden. All in all very relaxing (and I managed the stairs even on two crutches...). The hotel is near the city center, a bus stop is near by.

My stay at this hotel represented one of the most relaxing parts of a recent trip. The hotel was staff was exceptionally helpful, courteous and friendly. My room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The breakfast was also very good, and met my expectations. Two pleasant surprises were afternoon tea, which was very relaxing in the hotel garden (I visited in late Spring/early Summer) and the sparkling wine served during breakfast.

Everything about our stay was exceptional. Would definitely stay here again. 1) Great location, walkable to all key sites, old town, casino, theater, concert hall, parks, restaurants; 2) great buffet breakfast in a lovely setting; 3) very helpful and attentive staff; 4) the entire place is elegant, circa 1874 building, our room was the lovely and large “The Mozart Room”, other rooms are even nicer and larger; 5) onsite parking, no problem handling our car; 6) lovely sitting area room; 7) outdoor grounds are lovely; 8) if you need to do laundry (you’re on a long trip), coin-operated self-service washing and dryer machines 1.5 blocks away. Didn’t want to leave!

We started off a bit on the wrong foot when checking in, but it was our fault - partly due to the language barrier (my French is not very good), and simply not knowing the layout of the hotel. Once we got past that, we had a wonderful stay! Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bed was very nice. The breakfasts were terrific! Madame Marie-Helene (the innkeeper) made us little breakfast sandwiches each morning of toasted half-croissant topped with ham, cheese, and a fried egg! (a breakfast croque madame, if you will). This was in addition to the cold cuts, smoked trout, various baked items, juices, and as much coffee/tea as you wanted. When we checked out, Madame Marie gifted us with a nice bottle of Alsatian wine as an apology for the mix-up at check in, even though it was our fault! For those seeking an extended-stay place, they have some suites on the 2nd floor (3rd floor in US) with kitchenette facilities. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

This hotel was in the perfect location and we found great restaurants right near by, as it was Monday and all restaurants are closed in Seltz!

Everything was top notch - the amazing room design, the comfy bed, the gigantic bathtub, the blinds that make the room completely dark in the morning, the picturesque wine fields views from the room and balcony, the lovely staff that so warmly welcomed us and helped us with dedication to contact our car rental company, the included high quality breakfast that not only serves the basic stuff but also includes fresh vegetables, salmon and a real fried egg (a very uncommon thing to find in a free breakfast in eu/us)! It just feels that they thought about ALL the details to make this a perfect stay.

Everything was perfect, we came by car, there was a parking in front of the hotel and the centre of Baden Baden was only 6 km away. The hotel offers great facilities, perfectly clean, comfortable and spacious rooms , breakfast was delicious and in abundance. The spa within the hotel is perfect for some private, relaxing time , also immaculate hygiene. We went there a few days before Christmas, it was beautifully decorated, Baden Baden is worth a visit and the hotel a must stay i :-), we will be back for sure. P.S. Staff was exceptionally kind:-)

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a rough travel day and they were all too happy to help us with a reservation in the restaurant and help us both relax. Dinner was delicious and the Peafowl was especially flavorful. The selection presented many local options for different tastes. I only wish we had the energy to stay up for dessert! The bathtub- top notch. While we spent only one night on the property, we fully enjoyed our room and the breakfast the following morning. The chef managing breakfast was very attentive and spoke English with great humor. This hotel is a must stay for the staff and quality of care. I hope very much to return.

Excellent location right in the middle of town....short walk to the baths, down to the old town, or to historic church with a neat walking path overlooking the town. Check-in was very welcoming and she gave us some good tips for enjoying the town....also provided us towels for going to the thermal baths. Summer festival at the Kurhaus was neat and watching the Germany Euro match at an outdoor restaurant was a lot of fun (though the result was not good). Room was very comfortable and large with a nice view of the town. Rooftop patio was fun for lunch one day (though next door they were re-roofing so it was rather loud). Breakfast was delicious....also dinner in the hotel restaurant one night was also very good. Everyone working at the hotel was very friendly and welcoming. Made our visit very enjoyable.

Excellent location, few minutes walk to the Caracalla theme and the other main theme. Great parking facility and superb discount via the hotel. Loved the old furniture, the amazing beautiful wine bar and the exceptional staff who were welcoming, helpful and professional. Spacious rooms. Lovely terrace and views. Super cosy restaurant to, and the food was really good. Great selection of good wine also. The home sekt was nice!

This is an absolutely lovely hotel in the heart of Baden Baden. It is on a quiet side street but steps away from the baths, shops and restaurants. The young man at the front desk was extremely friendly and professional and was kind enough to order us a taxi for early the next morning. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the adjacent restaurant was wonderful. We couldn't have asked for any place better.

A lovely, family-run hotel with the best staff. From check-in to check-out, the staff were wonderful with me and my young son. We were greeted by name at breakfast which I thought was exceptional. The parking is very easy and the staff walk you to the garage. The breakfast was amazing. Everything fresh and cooked to order. Great selection of fresh fruit and breads. So friendly, clean and welcoming.

The hotel was situated perfectly between the towns, parks and Therme. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and cosy with everthing you needed. Kettle with tea and bottled water provided was such a nice bonus. The breakfast was extremely tasty with a good variety and eggs cooked to order. Felt very relaxed. The bar offered very nice cocktails and mocktails in the evening.

Secure, easily accessible parking. Staff helpful and friendly. Hotel has a small bar which we came back to for a last drink - think it stays open to about 11.30 and there's also a small outdoor seating area off the bar. We had a very comfortable room with a modern bathroom and free bottle of water. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice - eggs whichever way you want plus avocado, smoked salmon and all the normal fruit / cereals / cheeses and everything replenished constantly. Location was very good - down a slight incline to the town - then turn left to the park / river area and right for the town centre / Rathaus area

This was our first visit to Baden-Baden (late September), and although not a long stay, (three nights - four days) the Hotel Deutscher Kaiser im Centrum fit our needs perfectly! We had requested a standard double room, double bed, and non smoking. This is a family owned and operated establishment, and my wife and I, give it 10 out of ten stars. The family speaks English, and very attentive to their guests needs. The hot & cold breakfast buffet rates an A+. My wife (a foodie at heart), looked forward to the mornings to go to the cheerfully decorated dining room and partake of the enticing selections. This is real German comfort food, and a good way to fill your stomach and start your day of sightseeing, and Baden-Baden has plenty to offer on that end. Our room spacious, and the bed quite comfortable. The hotel (situated on a quiet street and safe to go walking around at night) is located in the center of the city, and a short stroll through Baden-Baden Old Town, and very near major attractions, decent shopping for leather goods, trinkets and such, plentiful cafes, and enticing bakeries. Baden-Baden is beautiful. I can imagine Christmas season here is breathtaking. We booked this hotel not merely for the location, but based on the excellent reviews the hotel has generated. So, do yourself a favor and make your stay in this picturesque area (located at the base of the Black Forest) an even better fit, by booking a room at Hotel Deutscher Kaiser im Centrum.

It was exceptional. Location a 15 minute drive to Baden Baden. In a peaceful vineyard with plenty of walks for us and our two dogs. Our room was so comfortable and spacious, with a private outside area. The restaurant was an excellent quality. Breakfast was as expected and fresh and delicious. The sauna was relaxing each day. Our dogs were welcome and we felt so relaxed. The staff all went above and beyond to make our stay. This hotel is excellent value for money and we will definitely return if we are ever in the area again.

WOW, Hotel Rebenhof is an amazing hotel. Set in a vineyard on the edge of the Black Forest. it is in a perfect location to take in the local sights, off which there are many. It is also easily accessible to the motorways. The rooms are very generously proportioned with fabulous views. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food and service were excellent, and reasonably priced.The hotel is dog friendly. Overall, this is a fabulous hotel and we wished we could have stayed longer.

This is a really nice place. Surrounded by hills and vineyards - the view from the room is lovely. The people are all friendly, helpful, well trained and motivated. The restaurant is great, and the rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped, whilst perhaps a little basic. Everything works as it should. All in all, whether you are travelling for pleasure or business, I can't recommend this place enough.

The property is situated amongst the vines close to Baden Baden. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a nice large shower. We are in the hotel restaurant on our arrival and it was good. Breakfast in the morning was also very good. We enjoyed our stay and would like to return some day

We had an exceptional stay at Berghotel Mummelsee ! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. The room was spotless, spacious, and extremely comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax. The location was ideal—close to everything we needed, yet quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was delicious and "NEXT LEVEL" with a great variety, and the service throughout our stay was flawless. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

This place is perfect in every way! Beautiful rooms with attention to detail. Very clean. Super friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast. Good restaurant. Welcoming for children and dogs. A lift. Plenty of parking. Included in the price is the use of the spa area with a stunning view over the black forest. Sauna, steam sauna, Zen type rest room with comfy beds. Free water and tea. Free bathrobe, towels, slippers. The lake with its own legend, the wood walks around it, the little church. The shop where you can buy lovely souvenirs, food etc. A complementary wood oven baked bread for the hotel guest, when you leave.

Absolutely beautiful location, with a restaurant and store. It’s a central location for exploring the Black Forest and I love that the room came with a bus pass. My room had a perfect view of the sunrise and it was glorious! The staff were fantastic - my masseuse was excellent, and the reception staff were attentive and helpful. I didn’t make it to breakfast or dinner on a long day and they checked in on me. I also loved that a table was reserved at breakfast and dinner when you ask.

Booked a family suite with a balcony overlooking the lake, exceeded my expectations, extremely clean and spacious, nicely decorated, beds are comfy. Marvelous views. The best hotel that you can in the Black Forest.It is situated near the Mummelsee lake and the view over the forest is astonishing.Big parking with reserved places for the guests in case that the main parking is full ( you need to ask for the key at the reception to open the chain for guests parking ).Very clean rooms with a lot of spaces, big tv, big bathtub with everything that you neet from the slippers to coats, bureau and everything. There is nothing that I coud add to make the room better.It is just perfect.Also nice restaurant with great food at affordable prices and all the staff from the reception to the restaurant are very nice and polite. The breakfast has everything to offer, it is very generous and the food very good.The I had in Germany so far. Just perfect.

Hotel was in a quiet area out of town, staff all helpful and friendly. Rooms were very clean with complimentary water and bathrooms a great size. Free parking right outside and seating areas to enjoy when weather good. Dinner was freshly cooked and tasted great. The gentleman serving us was extremely helpful on portion sizes and recommended a great local wine. Fresh cakes and desserts were fantastic. Made us wish we were there longer. Hotel had WiFi. There is also a lift. Breakfast was continental style with plenty of fruits, cheese and meats, plus cereal and croissants.

Beautiful hotel and restaurant tucked away in the woods. My partner and I had a fantastic stay at the Waldcafe. Our room was spacious, spotless, and offered a lovely view of the surrounding nature. The location is brilliant, right at the start of many hiking trails. Breakfast was spot on, with a great mix of sweet and savoury options. Eggs are made to order, and the bread is freshly baked. We also had lunch at the restaurant and it was one of the best takes on German cuisine I ever had. A tip for fellow bird lovers: the balcony room is a gem. I had a great time spotting a few local species straight from the balcony, including a European green woodpecker.

Beautiful forest location, large room, enjoyable dinner is the bier garden, breakfast available early for travellers, short walk from the local mountain funicular (worth a visit!). Friendly staff and more relaxed after a cool welcome. (don't walk by guests when they are clearly waiting😁) The breakfast team were very welcoming l, helpful and friendly.

A beautiful place in the middle of a forest. It's extremely close to many great hiking trails. It is a very quiet place. Good connection to the town. Simple but good food in the restaurant and for breakfast. There is always Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte at the restaurant, which is made there and tastes delicious. The bedroom was extremely clean and comfortable.

We had a deluxe Stephanie Villa room, which was very spacious and had every conceivable comfort that you would want. Full bathroom with large bath and shower. His and hers sinks. The main bedroom area had a very large wardrobe with more room and facilities than you would reasonably expect to use, even for a longer stay (5 days or more). Without doubt, a fantastically well designed room with great attention to how someone would use each of the facilities. The breakfast was plentiful with a lot of choice and very good quality ingredients. The Winter Garden restaurant had a very nice menu and we couldn’t fault the food and service. All staff were very attentive at all times, as you would expect from a hotel of this status. We didn’t get to use the Spa but, as with the rest of the hotel, we could see that the facilities were of excellent quality. The location is perfect for walking through the nearby park and for reaching the old town and shopping areas. All within easy walking distance.

Everything was wonderful. Our room was large with a beautiful view. All the staff were kind and welcoming. They aim to please. Every encounter was a pleasure. We dined in both restaurants for breakfast and dinner. Food excellent, as was service. It’s no wonder it was recently rated the best hotel in all of Germany. We moved on to another luxe hotel in Germany and it is a let down compared to Brenners Park. Try the spa saunas, steam room and pools. We had massages in the spa that were great, and the waiting area was lovely with drinks and snacks. Much better than the public ones offered in town. I hope we return someday.

The swimming is one of the best I've seen; big, spacious facing floor-to-ceiling windows. The room we had was really large and comfortable. I usually notice the little details so I was very impressed by the heavy door handles and the doors themselves; solid, heavy, and built right. Breakfast at the Wintergarten was spectacular. The hotel made my first time in Baden-Baden unforgettable. Thank you :)

Property was immaculate, room was charming, clean and bed was comfy. Spa and wellness was next level and was amazing. Wife and I could use the saunas, Plunge Pool, and steam rooms (facilities were second to none and it wasn’t overcrowded) We wish we would of stayed longer.

Beautiful location. We arrived late yet check-in wasn’t an issue. Dinner at the restaurant was lovely, but was a set menu. Water was replenished each day and the breakfast was great, with an in-house chef to make any egg dishes for you. The fresh bread was also lovely. The coffee machine wasn’t working, however it was an automatic coffee machine so it was no loss in my opinion. The alternative french press coffee was much better.

We were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience - a beautiful restaurant with an interesting menu and great wine pairing, a clean and spacious hotel room, a comfortable bed, and a plentiful breakfast. Everything was great and the staff was polite and helpful. Do take a walk in the area and explore the vineyards, it is worth it! Baden Baden city center is just a 10-minute drive away.

wonderful location. We arrived late for check in but the hotel called and the host stayed to welcome us and sorted a restaurant reservation for us. Very friendly and welcoming as a whole. Wonderful breakfast and a very enjoyable wine tasting before we left. Lovely room. Very comfortable. Would definitely visit again. Highly recommend. Great value.

We had a wonderful stay at this guest house and really wish we had stayed longer. The outdoor seating area that is exclusive for hotel guests was such a nice touch and very relaxing. The rooms were cosy, spacious and clean. If we noticed anything, we just mentioned it to the host, and they immediately helped us. Everyone was very kind and cooperative, which made us feel very welcome. Also the parking is free for the hotel guests which is a great bonus! Breakfast was included and was good with all the basics, and we loved the little detail that every morning you have your own table with your room name — very thoughtful. The place feels very safe, and hotel guests are upstairs and separate from the restaurant and shop visitors downstairs. There are only six rooms, so it’s best to book in advance. The location is also great with amazing views. It’s only about 10 minutes by car to Baden-Baden city center with shops, cafés, and restaurants, and many activities nearby. The restaurant on site is excellent, the food is delicious and worth the price, and there’s even an ice cream stand close by. I also recommend taking the Merkur funicular for the beautiful views. Overall, everything was amazing — the setting in the middle of the Black Forest, the comfort of the rooms, and the kindness of the people. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The whole experience of this hotel is very special. The arrival was a little difficult intially, as the location is a public site, with a market, bakery and restaurant, but it is all part of the charm and experience. Upon checking in, we were given a tour of the rooms (we had the suites booked), which was very helpful to show us all the features, especially the sauna in the main bathroom. The rooms being located in the main building makes access to all the amenities very easy, and the market store having everything from local produce and meat to locally produced goods, gives non-locals an opportunity to purchase local goods, while the restaurant offers a large locally sourced menu. The rooms were very well appointed, plenty of space and exceptionally clean. The sauna in the suite bathroom was a fantastic touch, that was used in the evening and in the morning. The beds were comfortable and the separate shower and bath provided a nice luxury touch. The following morning breakfast was varied and delicious, despite there being no warm options. The fresh products from the in-house bakery were delicious and really added to the feeling of the locally source products.

It is very cozy, modern and clean. The room was big and warm. The room has a terrace with table and chairs and a beautiful green view. The breakfast has a good choice and the staff is attending every need. There is a bakery onsite and a supermarket with local products perfect for souvenirs. The home deco shop has very good quality products. The highlight is by far the delicious food in the restaurant by yhe candle light. There is also a fireplace in the restaurant hall which makes the whole atmosphere warm and cozy.

Overall a pleasant experience. Excellent location with the area feeling safe & quiet. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious.

We liked the design of the room especially as our room opened onto a terrace. The breakfast was good and the staff helpful. We were able to have fresh croissant from the amazing bakery . ( I had to buy cake for our onward drive).The restaurant staff were more than helpful and our typical German supper was superb.

We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times now, and were so happy to find that the experience was just as excellent as in previous years. The staff are incredibly welcoming and professional – they really make you feel at home. The food is outstanding, with plenty of delicious options, and the rooms are always clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It's a peaceful location too, which makes it perfect for a relaxing break. We’ll definitely be back again! We were also able to buy some red wine from the hotel, we recommend the Spatburgunder!

Location! Surrounded by mountains, trees, rural homes, brooks, birds. Lovely hotel run by very friendly people. Attentive! Nice breakfast. We had a spacious room. Bathroom with separate shower and big bath. Hairdryer, big mirror and magnifying mirror. Some basic toiletries. Complementary bottle of water. TV, several lamps, side tables and two settees. Wardrobe with safe. There was a huge window with sliding panels, like you had a balcony. We could see for miles. See birds of prey, bats, swallows. Hear owls at night. And the stars you could see! Wow. We didn't hear any guests from our room. There's a local (not very busy) road at the front of the hotel, we were at the back and couldn't hear it. Good, comfortable beds. Just down the hill there's a town called Bad-Herrenalb where there's a supermarket, drugstore, bakery, ice-cream salon, hat shop (recommended!), cafés & several restaurants (Abbas!). Plenty of hiking/walk options nearby or a bit further by car. Several waterfalls within an hours drive. Baden-Baden is 45min by car. We didn't use it, but as you are paying a tourist tax, you are eligible for a free public transport card for most of the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) area. Make sure to check it out if you would like to use public transport. They have them at the hotel. Dogs are allowed (12,50 per night) and plenty of free parking at hotel.

Very comfortable room with balcony overlooking the hills at the back of the hotel. Quiet. Beautiful German style. Very friendly staff. Plenty of parking spaces. Good breakfast for €15. The restaurant serving lunch and dinner has a very good reputation

The room was absolutely pretty! We had nice trails for walks behind the hotel where we could easily walk our dogs. The breakfast was delicious and rich with local food and the dinner in their restaurant exquisite! Very big portions and super tasty. We had a great experience with the staff members too, everyone was friendly and smiling. A very pleasant stay. Would come back!

The location is beautiful, the place is lovely and cozy. The rooms are very comfortable and offer a view from which you can truly appreciate the view. The staff is very friendly, and the food is delicious, with a wide variety of dishes.

This is our preferred overnight stay hotel while on our road trip to Garmisch. We found it on Booking.com en-route last year and immediately booked the return journey. We now don't bother looking for anywhere else to stay for this leg of the journey as this hotel is perfect for us, so we repeated our stay this year. The location is perfect, conveniently just off Autobahn 5 (with supermarkets just off the junction) but in a very quiet, picturesque village. You wouldn't think you were so close to the motorway. The hotel is spotless and the food in the restaurant is utterly fabulous (remember to book a table as it's very popular, for good reason). Breakfast is fresh and plentiful with great coffee. Lots of free parking. Great staff, always with a warm welcome and helpful, friendly staff in the restaurant. Bedrooms aren't huge but are super clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here longer if our travel time allowed.

The staff at Kohlers Hotel Engel was absolutely lovely and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious and we really loved the breakfast which had a bit of everything for everyone. We also had a dinner at their restaurant which was amazing. We came for Easter weekend to go hike in the Black Forest and the hotel was ideally located if you have a car to drive to the main hiking points. It's quiet and they even have electric charging stations to plug your car in the Hotel parking, which was very convenient for us. The spa area was also a big +, it's smaller than your tipical spa, but clean and surpisingly well done for a small hotel like this one. I recommend this place and would book it again !

The rooms are very modern, large, comfortable and quiet. Everywhere is spotless and very well maintained to a very high standard. The Staff are exceptional (especially the reception staff - they couldn't do enough for you - so helpful.) The owner permitted me the use of their private garage parking for my motorcycle

Amazing hotel, meets all expectations, rooms are comfortable and incredibly clean, fitness and spa facilities, great breakfast buffet and excellent restaurant. Wonderful team of people who all make a stay at the Engel very special. Just a wonderful place to stay or just enjoy the restaurant!

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely perfect! Impeccably clean and cozy, with quiet luxury and classic furnishings. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the room has everything you'd need for your stay. The host was amazing—helpful, kind, and full of great recommendations. She even arranged discounts for the spa and called a taxi for us. Small things like a complementary bottle of water and free tea and coffee in the room are making a good impression. The on-site pastry shop was a delightful surprise, offering some of the best cakes we’ve had, and the breakfast was truly one of the best in Europe. The location is unbeatable—walking distance to everything in Baden-Baden and right in front of Caracalla Therme. This hotel exceeded all our expectations, and I can’t wait to return!

Hotel is located at the top of the pedestrian shopping area, which can present a challenge for access but makes for a very convenient base for shopping and walking around the city. We were upgraded to a larger room, which was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was in the cafe on the ground floor, a good selection and friendly staff. Reception was super helpful.

Location was ideal for our one night stay in Baden Baden. Room was very clean and a very quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was a good size and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was served in the café attached to the property. There was a good choice on offer and the personnel were very friendly and attentive.

It was beautiful and comfortable. The hotel provided an excellent buffet breakfast. They also have a pastry shop on the and every day there were great pastries with breakfast. We also purchased pastries their to enjoy in the evenings. It is in an excellent location, quiet and located very close to the two spas in Baden (Friedrichsbad and the Caracalla spa) and within east of asking distance to restaurants, a beer garden and the town park.

The room was cozy and inviting, the breakfast was delightful with delicious coffee, and the staff went above and beyond with their friendly and helpful service.
