Very nice, cozy and charming auberge, felt like at home. It shows that a lot of care is put into little details that make the room and main hall comfortable and pleasant. Room was very clean, bed on the harder side, but I slept well. Also a little noisy in the morning when guests start walking around upstairs. Refrigerator available in the room, and a common kitchenette for all guests with microwave, kettle, tea & coffee, dishes and cutlery near the reception. Rooms all have an open view on the river - absolutely gorgeous sunset and view of the water. Breakfast was very tasty, but with additional cost of 9$. Reception staff and the main owner were very friendly and helpful with information about the region. Unfortunately the two sheep that apparently live on the grounds of the hotel were already gone for the winter. Would definitely stay there again!

What a wonderful find on Hotels.com! The front desk could not have been more welcoming, and he provided excellent advice on restaurants in Bain St. Paul--and the restaurants were great. The cooked breakfast in the morning was just excellent. My room was quite beautiful, simple and traditional, with a wonderful view of the St. Lawrence River and the Isle aux Coudres. The hotel is up on the cape above the town, hence the sensational views. There were even a couple of wonderful sheep in an enclosure below the hotel, basing a little just before breakfast and dusk. The location outside just five minutes from town was good because Bain St Paul is a very lively town in the summer and parking is in short supply. Only nit--I had a nice whirlpool bathtub, just no shower attachment.

Breakfast ok. Great espresso. Would have liked more seasonal fresh fruit. Views superb. Staff exceptional. Breakfast on terrace under an umbrella admiring the view really wonderful.

Wonderful place we stayed at on the last day of our vacation. The owners were very accomadating letting us on the property before check in since we were arriving from nearby . The room had a huge window with the waterfront view and very comfortable. The owner also gave us menus and recommendations for dinner in Bai St. Paul. The best was sitting on the terrace where they serve you a great breakfast and you can enjoy the wonderful view .

I loved the view from our bedroom I also loved the shared living room...it had a lovely view as well, plus the chairs were super comfortable There were snacks available for a small fee The breakfast was delicious....everything was made fresh

the hotel staff (whom i suspect were the owners) were amazing, friendly and helpful. the location is perfect, close to restaurants, shops and gallery's. although I didn't use any of spa amenities, everything seemed very nice and next time i will pack accordingly. the included breakfast was delicious and the AC is quiet.

This property is owned by a husband and wife. It is clear that they take incredible pride. The breakfast provided was five star quality. I couldn’t have gone to a restaurant and gotten a better breakfast. The hotel is cozy with a perfect balance of historic and modern. The property itself made me want to stay in the town just for the property itself.

Very quaint, comfortable auberge. The area is very charming, perfect place to stay while passing through Charlevoix. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The spa felt great to relax and was very clean, was impressed! The included breakfast was a plus.

My priority in a hotel is how comfortable the bed is for me. The bed in room 8 was great, big and flat. The breakfasts catered to my gluent, dairy free needs and were delicious. Staff, Mimi amd others was welcoming, helpful and very professional. A great stay.

Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast plate, Nice terrace for drinks. Walkable to the main restaurants/gallaries/boutiques but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Nice indoor spa. Free parking.

Owner and staff were so wonderful! Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant was excellent and so convenient as we skied all day and didn’t have to worry about where to go for dinner. The room was clean and had the amenities we needed(kettle, coffee pot, microwave and mini fridge. We booked the hot-tub one of the nights, and it was perfect after a long day of skiing. There is also a convenient store down the road, and an ice rink around the corner where we went skating! 10/10

I had a delightful stay at this Auberge for a skiing holiday in March, 2023. The husband and wife proprietors have maintained this property to high standards. I had a small charming suite that had a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence Seaway and the village below. They provide breakfast for the room rate and also provide dinner in a restaurant open to the public for dinner. It was extremely convenient for me to enjoy dinner at the Auberge after a vigorous day of skiing and taking advantage of their outdoor hot tub immediately afterwards. They have close access to the Le Massif ski area's alternate lodge next to the Seaway. For the quality of my stay, the modest rates are extremely reasonable and I will definitely return here if I revisit the area in the future.

Beautiful place only 4 minutes from the ski hill! Our room was warm and cozy and had an amazing view of the St. Lawrence river. The staff are incredibly friendly and make your stay feel very personalized. The breakfast and dinner was always delicious and everything homemade. The Spa after a ski day was an added bonus!

Only stayed one night and pleased we did. The husband and wife owners have obviously worked hard to provide a welcoming and comfortable stay for their guests. Their restaurant offers a variety of good foods...enjoyed the seafood fettuccine and also their pizzas. The included full breakfast was also a nice start to the day. The location, in the little village of Petite-Riviere-Saint-Francois, is worth the extra drive off the main highway. An evening walk out to the Quai is quite beautiful and there's a small park nearby where children can enjoy the playground equipment. This would also be a great place to stay in the winter if you are skiing at Massif Mountain, only five minutes drive, taking you to the base of the ski resort.

Clean, quiet, unique-outdoor hottub, firepit, and an exceptional breakfast. Definitely not your typical hotel/bed and breakfast

The breakfasts we had were great, Everything was hot from the kitchen and included home made bread. The hotter is well maintained and the view from the hotub is spectacular.

Wonderful place to stay ,quiet ,trees and flowers all over outdoor ,no traffic noise ,near the St-Laurence River and a good view of the river's water from my room . One billiard table in a separate house. A large spa . A perfect place for everyone that like nature and the beauty of an inn .The staff is friendly . Good meal and a good variety of choices. A place to return and adopt if you like beautiful and quiet place .My experience was in summertime .They speak in French and in English .

What a beautiful view of the majestic St Lawrence from this lovely rustic small hotel. The dining room and bar area was spacious.. The food was excellent and the service delightful. We had a two room suite with a private balcony and a view of the river. All around very good

The reception staff was pleasant and helpful, especially the concierge persons. The maitre d' service at both restaurants was poor. They, and especially at the La Bercail were very slow and fussing with things the service persons should be doing rather than dealing with seating guests and generally overseeing operations. The restaurant wait staff varied in expertise. The music in both restaurants/hotel was poorly selected. It was all the same beat and somewhat discordant. It should be more varied to reflect different tastes and audiences. The live music in La Bercail was too loud, and not to my taste. English ability varied greatly - so renew your French before going. The food was excellent, and very generous portions. One should definitely do a dinner at Les Labours, where the food is inventive, beautifully presented, fresh (partly from their garden)and full-flavored. The bed was very comfortable. Toiletries were nice. Overall very clean room, and generally very clean throughout the property. Overall a lovely experience.

We stayed over the week-end in Baie St-Paul at this hotel. The room was very nice and clean. It is not particularly big, but it's perfect for a couple. If we were to go back, we would select a room with a view though. In terms of restaurant, we had a lovely dinner at Labours. The food was incredible and the ambiance great, However, I must admit that we were slightly disappointed with the brunch (pastries were not really fresh)

The room was cozy and clean. The decor is very different but charming with a barn feel and high cielings. Our stay was memorable. Very comfortable. A 20 mins drive from the Ski station Massif. The cherry on top was waking up to the view, including the scottish highland cows. I am in love!

Stayed for one night to ski at Le Massif. The 3 bed dormitory layout was spacious and perfect for my little family, especially the bathroom with double sinks, and separately enclosed toilet and shower. Friendly reception, bakery on site, easy walk to shops and restaurants, will return!

Amazing stay and hotel ❤️ we had a very pleasant 1 night stay in the train station building and enjoyed the spa and farm. We got we came for, a calm stay, environmentally friendly concept and plenty of rest and amazing views. Will certainly come back !

Clean, comfortable, quiet. Really friendly, helpful staff.

Second time staying here and I loved it again. I choose this motel because it's the cheapest, cleanest, pet-friendly option in town. Beds are comfy, staff is friendly, the room is well equipped. It's across the road from a big park and a path that takes you right into the town centre in about 15/20 minutes on foot. There's plenty of restaurants, supermarkets etc at walking distance. The pet fee for one dog is 25$+tax per night. I will choose this place again when I'm back in Baie-Saint-Paul.

Its location is great, plenty of parking, clean room, very comfortable bed, HVAC unit fully functional, bathroom and shower fully functional and in great working order. The motel has a fire pit and comfortable chairs for evening gathering around it with friends and pass the evening together in warmth. Every year when we pass eastward or westward in Quebec on our motorcycle rides we stay overnight at Motel Cascade. Been doing so since 2015!

Very nice place. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Liked that they offered dish set and cutlery as well as fridge and table to eat in the room. You could also sit on the balcony outside. Would definitely recommend this place!
