This is the best hotel in Germany! The staff are so kind and helpful, the rooms are very clean and breakfast was exceptional. Shower is great, the bed is comfortable and the view from the balcony is incredible. The perfect location as a base for Eagles nest, Konigsee lake and close to shops and restaurants in town. I rarely give a perfect rating but this hotel is 10/10. We loved our stay and will return one day!

Amazing breakfast, lots of choices and tasted delicious. Unlimited amount of food. Warm, spacious and clean rooms. Good power shower. Option to have a free drink daily from the bar if opted to not have the room cleaned. Lovely restaurant within walking distance. Lots of trails nearby.

Very cosy alpine ski hotel. We had superior room It was very spacious and we had lovely view of the starry night sky from our balcony. The staff were really friendly but a few couldn’t speak to us as we don’t know German. So we did get ignored for breakfast order the final two mornings. Other than than breakfast was great! One other issue is no tea/coffee facilities in room so ended up being charged for tea every evening.

Very clean, beautiful room with an amazing view! We really enjoyed our stay here. They made us feel so welcome. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and super helpful! The breakfast was a big spread with many options and was very delicious. If we ever are back in the area we definitely would love to stay here again.

We loved everything about our stay...room was very good with a comfortable bed and a great clean bathroom with a very good shower. The view from our balcony was beautiful, breakfast was great...everything was perfect! Location was excellent great proximity to Konigssee however we did have a car!

Stayed here for 9 days - hotel is very professional and inviting.. the spa was excellent on a rainy day! Breakfast is a treat of local and continental cuisine, and the bar lively and service impeccable! Thank you, David! Our rooms were on the 6th floor - quiet, big and comfortable- lovely bathroooms with bath and shower. My bed however was 2 singles which was not great 🙃 there was also no bar fridge or mini bar, which was a big disappointment, as was the Euro 6.50 room service fee for 1 beer !!! Coffee station minimal - 2 sachets of coffee with powdered milk. Not quite what I expect at that price. Also held Euro50/day on top of room charge for room service/credit card charges! Overall - I'll be back!!

Hotel is a big business hotel, it has great spaces to relax, have a drink at the bar, enjoy a nice meal at the restaurant. We loved the breakfast, great cold and warm options, good quality and plenty restock for us late risers. Rooms were comfortable, they could use some refreshing here and there, just normal wear and tear, not bothersome. They were clean, space was adequate as we had 2 rooms for our family of 4. Parking is great, well structured, a few charging stations available for EVs at no additional cost! Staff is very friendly and helpful, we felt comfortable and welcome. The pool is very good, not too deep and suitably warm for kids and adults to enjoy and relax. Pool area is clean and there is also a nice spa area.

Great location close to Munich airport and the motorway. Clean, comfortable room with aircon. We had a tasty dinner on the terrace and a good breakfast. We also had a walk after breakfast to a lake nearby which was enjoyable before a long car journey.

Check-in staff were very helpful/friendly, but their directions to parking and Tower 2 rooms was confusing (quite a long walk from reception to Tower 2. Wish we had more time to use the pool and tennis courts. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet was excellent

A beautiful modern hotel with lovely spacious rooms , the hotel was immaculate , Marcel was brilliant at reception and checkin was easy , breakfast was very good. The spa in the hotel was amazing and relaxing , we had a late flight and used the facilities after checking out . I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need to be near the airport and want to enjoy a nice spa.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, but if you arrive from the airport with S1/S8 use the Isartor station, not Marienplatz because it is much easier to navigate and it is closer to the hotel. The hotel has a feeling of easy going youth, the staff is very friendly and relaxed, seemingly their motto is "Make the life of our guests as easy as possible, and don't stress during the process. It will all be good in the end". Breakfast is standard but tasty, they have the mandatory weisswurst and sweet mustard with pretzels, accompanied by various other tasty snacks and delicacies. To my surprise the standard scrambled eggs/omelette was way better than the ones we have tasted in other hotels. The room had a modernist twist to it, with some elements of industrialism which helped us settling in easily under the pipes listening to Alexa telling us jokes. The best part of the breakfast is that you literally can take the plates to your room, tea from a samovar just like in old times, freshly brewed coffee (delicious espresso) from a high end coffee machine is included by default... but we preferred sitting outside on the rooftop terrace and enjoying the meals in the friendly company of pigeons.

The Haus im Tal is absolutely my favorite hotel. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming—they greet you with a smile and even offer you a drink upon arrival. They are always helpful and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is enjoyable. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the beds are exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. The showers are fantastic, adding to the comfort and luxury of the experience. I also love the rooftop terrace, which is a perfect spot to unwind and take in the surroundings. The breakfast is excellent, with plenty of delicious options to start your day. The hotel’s location is very convenient, easily reachable by taxi and public transport, making it a great choice for travelers

Great hotel in a great location. Our room was a king bed with a sofa bed. Big room, minimalistic in decor but made up with it in amenities: coffee machine, teas, ice in the bucket with a welcome cocktail mix and waters. Plenty of towels. The air condition worked even in the fall cold weather. Upstairs bar was welcoming. Came in after hours, they email me clear instructions for check in and room key pickup. Friendly staff. Location was amazing near the main plaza. Plenty of restaurants, bars, and a grocery right at my doorsteps.

Fantastic hotel, just a stroll away from Marienplatz and the clock towers. Room had a balcony which was a great size and got the sun all afternoon. Staff and service were incredible - really friendly, attentive and helpful. Rooftop bar was very cool and amenties were great. Provided a bed for our dog and lots of information about Munich and its bars & restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend!

We really liked everything and everyone involved. We thought breakfast and dinner were fabulous. Views of the Bavarian countryside from the restaurant and our room with balcony were splendid. Excellent outdoor areas for swimming and lounging. Sunsets at dinner were nature at its best. Food always high quality, fresh and beautifully served with a wide selection for all tastes. For breakfast, self service was easy and quick. Table service, for breakfast and dinner was fast and professional. Those serving us were very friendly and very capable. Our room was lovely. Beautifully desecrated, spacious, with a two person bathroom (separate Loo) and very large Smart TV's. Super comfortable bed. Cleaners left everything spotless. Birkenhof is a tribute to the professionalism of its owners and staff. Five stars are not enough. What more could one want?

This is a beautiful property located in a peaceful, secluded area. We were truly able to unwind and unplug from the world and just enjoy one another’s company in their immaculate spa. The facilities were SUPER clean. We booked the half board and thoroughly enjoyed our 5-course dinner. The bar area was a nice place to relax and enjoy a drink after dinner. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This has to be considered one of the best spas in the world! The amenities and features are out of this world. The property is absolutely breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We loved the clean and comfortable room! We hope to be back soon.

My Husband and I needed a little getaway and we had some kind of expectations, but, all details and things of the hotel were higher than any expectation we had. We had a super super great stay and we really enjoyed every part of the hotel. From Breakfast to Dinner, Wine and Cocktails. From Spa and Wellness to Pool and Sauna.. Everything was just more than great. Also the Massages are really great. They made everything to have us a warm and welcome stay. Sadly we just had 2 days in this Hotel but we surely will be coming back. Huge Thank You. 15/10 !! Ps. Try the 5 Course Menu with a good glas/ bottle of red or white wine. Its not food. Its Art with an good taste in an good atmosphere. Just enjoy the journey. 😊😉

It's a lovely little set of vacation houses with a nice view of the Alps. Was great for a get-together with friends!

Great food, dinner and breakfast, kind and friendly staff, rooms comfortable and clean, lots of character, we enjoyed using indoor pool area in evening. Didn’t get to know area as just passing through but everything was perfect for what we needed.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights over the May Bank Holiday. The hotel is a bit dated but still comfortable. The spa and pools were lovely (although the latter were very small). The buffet breakfast was excellent. Our only complaint was that there seemed to be a problem with the air extraction from the kitchen and the hotel smelt in places of old fat oil which was somewhat offputting. Hotel location is good if you have a car. Otherwise it is in the middle of a small village with no decent restaurants.

Free, safe parking right next to the hotel entrance. Easy check in, friendly staff. Small vending machine with drinks in reception (cash only). Close to city center if you want to explore. Easy access to/from highway. Creative design and interior - hence why we chose this place. Fair priced. Fun room, something out of the ordinary which we really enjoyed. VIP room excellent for couples! VIP room contained hot tub, dealbreaker for us for a relaxing stay (a bit shallow just FYI). We received 2 sets of towels each: very soft and nice! Bed in VIP room was comfy and big! Also comfy bedding and hotel pillows (would maybe add regular pillows for sleeping comfort). There is a tower fan in the room that creates circulation which was nice, please note it is no AC. Note that there is privacy buttons near your room-door. If you turn on the privacy button your room will not be cleaned. For cleaning, turn on the house keeping button. A red/green light will illuminate in front of your door to let the personnel know if you want privacy or cleaning. Room exactly like in pictures! Recommended and will come back if we are around the area again :)

We liked the decor, the friendly staff, the ease of check in and the secure parking. The room was clean and very comfortable and had everything that we needed.

The expression "Der Gast ist Koenig" (the guest is King) fits Passau Suites. What an incredibly thought through accommodation. First of all we would like to thank Mrs Braun and Herr von Jaruntowski for your exceptional welcome and taking care of us after our accident in Passau. The accommodation is very tasteful, luxurious and comfortable. Close to the river with various restaurants, but also nothing missing in the suite. Minibar, dressing gowns, little biscuits, lovely bathroom amenities, balcony, coffee machine, etc etc etc. Mrs Braun met us on arrival, explained everything to us and took care of us. She is an absolute gem. If you want a truly comfortable stay, this is the accommodation to book.

The suite was absolutely amazing! The best was then view of the river. Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We loved everything. It was an exceptional stay, large, elegant rooms, modern bathrooms, clean, fresh, tempting. Very smooth check in process. I have never been to a place like this, where every tiny detail is carefully and tastefully designed. Practical, smart and tasteful solutions. All the minibar drinks were included in the room price, what is also a nice gesture. Congratulation to the owners! We felt like home.

Excellent way to spend a few days in Passau. Ideal location. Apartment is modern, clean and tastefully decorated which makes for a pleasant stay. Staff is wonderful and very responsive. Quiet despite location on main road but you are next the the Danube so view is good. No breakfast but there are plenty of bakeries around the corner. Overall would highly recommend. A+

The apartment is one of the best we have stayed in. Our room was the duplex suite with sauna and whirlpool. A large modern and clean apartment, located in the Old Town and easy to walk to the restaurants , sites and train station. Staff were extremely professional and helpful.The photos of the apartment are very accurate.

Location was very quiet, up on the hill looking down on Colmberg. And, it’s close to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. My room was large, clean, and very comfortable. All. Bathroom was modern and exceptionally clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner in the Courtyard was wonderful. Menu selections were very good, very good quality, and service was very good too. Breakfast was great, nice selection, good quality, and having breakfast in the Courtyard was a great experience too. It’s an authentic Castle which is pretty cool to stay in. Views from my room and the walls around the castle were beautiful.

This was the most amazing place to stay! Our room was so luxurious and beautiful. The view was amazing. The restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. We will definitely book this castle again on our next trip to Germany. It is in nice proximity to Rothenberg on der Tauber as well as Nurnberg. This was one of the highlights of our trip.

Everything about our stay at Burg Colmberg was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was very comfortable and well furnished. The castle itself was very beautiful, with many, very nice antiques throughout. It was very nicely decorated for Christmas throughout as well. The restaurant offered outstanding meals and the breakfast each morning was very pleasant. The hotel is also pet friendly and our dog was welcome everywhere in the hotel.

Burg Colmberg is a beautiful mix of old world charm and modern convenience. The views around the castle are exquisite. The location is convenient and easy to find. Breakfast was great with delicious coffee. The service was excellent.

We have always wanted to experience staying in a castle in Germany. We chose the Tower Suite room for our family of 5 and it was the best room at the top of the hotel with balcony access to the outside of the top of the tower (of course we can’t get into the tower). It was very cool. Even though the castle was ancient, our room was completely modern and new and had very modern facilities and a fantastic view over the castle grounds and the town below. The room has a queen fold out bed downstairs and a queen bed upstairs plus single bed upstairs. Toilets are very modern with fancy automated toilet seats. We came on Christmas Day and had the special Franconian Xmas dinner with venison from the local forest and roast goose. Even tried their locally brewed dark beer The Dark Knight specially brewed for the castle. We also had a walk around the town the next day and enjoyed it. We took the opportunity to explore the rest of the castle by going to every floor and went into the wedding chapel and so on. Can really then tell the age of the castle with the timber stairs, very old floors and doors and ancient furnishings (deer heads mounted on walls, old doll cradles, etc all around) / at times spooky as we explored this at night!

The hotel is situated in a lovely location and has it's own restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming and we had a garage to keep our motorcycle in overnight. The room was large and clean, as was the bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable and we enjoyed a good night's sleep. The bathroom had everything we needed. We did eat in the restaurant and the food was very good and plentiful. Breakfast was good. All in all, a very pleasant stay

It was a beautiful building, comfortable and characterful. We loved our room, we had a delightful balcony. Unfortunately the weather did not allow us to enjoy it. The food was outstanding, very delicious, and the staff charming and friendly.

Excellent setting,we had a spectacular view from our balcony if you were standing, not at all if sitting in the chairs provided,the wooden balcony obscured the view completely.The room was big clean and pleasant and generally typical of a top hotel,although I have stayed in many hotels and had never stayed in one with no coffee making facilities in the room before,that was a down for me,I had to either call for room service or go down to the restaurant or bar area. The hotel seemed to be very understaffed, we waited half an hour to get a drink at the bar,we elected to leave the hotel and have drinks in the town. All in all for the price paid it fell short over my stays in budget hotels.

Great breakfast buffet and choice at dinner. The pools were excellent and make sure you get your free Allgäu Walser card, which gives free bus travel around the region, including the one from the hotel into town, plus discounts on loads of attractions. Rooms were big and comfortable. Views from the rooms and the restaurant were stunning.

The spa is huge and wasn't crowded, the pool and sauna areas were great with lots of choices of what to do. The staff was helpful and the rooms were lovely, with really comfortable beds. The lobby bar is also really nice, and the breakfast was amazing with a lot of choices.

Very nice, active and friendly staf. Beautiful view from the restaurant. Nice swimming pool but dirty and only half working bowling alley. Nice buffet in the morning and evening but food quality could have been a little bit better. Indoor parking costs 15 euro, charging a car is possible but not included. Communication is only in German! Room was nice but the couch was not comfortable and the living room only had 1 very bright light.

Very nice property, the employees are friendly and helpful. The evening meal impressed us a lot, there are many kinds of food for all tastes. Everything is fresh, and the trays with food are filled very often even until the end of the dinner.We like it here and we’ll definetly came back .
