Excellent service from the moment we arrived. We had arranged prior transportation from the concierge at Casa de Campo so it was an easy connect from Punta Cana airport. We stayed at the premier suites. They have their own separate lobby and lounge and bar that is so great. Check in was simple and the bell men are excellent. They give you a golf cart to drive around the property but we preferred the private cars to get us back and forth to dinner. Sergio, Jose, Sebastion drove us to dinner each night and were so nice. We had dinner at La Pizzetta a few times. Fabulous food and service. Located in the Altos de Chevon area it is so nice to walk around and explore before dinner. SBG was another restaurant we enjoyed a beautiful view and more amazing food. La casita at the marina was also excellent. We went on a trail ride with Raphael C and he was so interesting to talk to. I had a lesson with Jose who worked me hard and I learned a lot. Golf here is a must. We played the Links course and then Dye fore. Our Caddie was Roberto. He was fun and helped us around the course. The beach is beautiful and a great spot to lounge for the afternoon. Randy and Robinson were excellent waiters and kept the drinks flowing. So many great things to do here. Can’t wait to come back

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY FISHING! It was terrible! They don’t even put a fishing rod in your hand. SBG did not have the three most popular food choices available that were listed on our menu and our food came out cold. I would highly recommend the smaller restaurants around the marina. They were so friendly and the food looked amazing. The beach and pools were AMAZING! Beautiful beach and attentive wait staff. EXCURSION: “speed boat” 2 people On river. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE EITHER! Sooo boring! My friend went to the spa and said it was worth every penny. Our house manager and maitre de were wonderful. No complaints Stayed in LOS MANGOS 13

This was my first time going to Dominican and i can honestly say how happy I am that my friend and I decided to go with Casa. Reviews and the ratings were pretty high but we both decided to go with the flow. Casa truly blew our minds. The staff, the food, the environment, the activities that were on the resort, all of it was truly the definition of amazing. Every room/villa had a golf cart included which provided easy transportation but if needed, there was also shuttles as well. The staff were so nice to help us drive our golf cart back to our room since we had some drinks and could not operate. They were also so nice in willing to help us request a shuttle even if it's just to bring us from one location to another. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and simply kind. La Casita, Chilangos and Lagos, were just a few of my favourite restaurants at Casa. Lagos had a wonderful selection of a buffet breakfast. Delicious and flavorful. I hope to go back sometime and would definitely recommend this resort. Maybe consider the all inclusive package since the activities will be included.

Hands down the best resort ever. The reviews are spot on, if you’re thinking of going this is your sign to go! Me and my boyfriend went and we LOVED it! The service is impeccable they make you feel like royalty, the restaurants and food is like dining at a fancy London restaurant. It’s clean and tidy, including the pools and beach. The beach is the clearest sea we have ever seen, to the point you can see all types of fish swimming around you. It is a big place but it makes it feel like you’re on your own little private island. A personal favourite restaurant was La Cana, best steak I’ve ever had. Luxurious but not boring. Cannot fault it one bit, will definitely be returning! In fact I don’t think any other resort will top this!

This is a beautiful luxury resort. The service was top-notch but be prepared to pay premium price for food & drinks. We did receive an Expedia bonus of free buffet breakfast for 2 every morning but we had to explicitly request that the hotel honor this because it was not originally included; otherwise, this would've cost us $90/day (not a typo) including obligatory taxes & tip! Besides the pool, gym, and 2 restaurants in the hotel area, everything else is very far away: the beach, grocery store, movie theater, marina restaurants, Altos de Chavon area. You cannot walk there, you have to take a very slow-moving golf cart which was included. Cars go around you very fast and upset at all the golf carts on the road. We did not feel safe riding the golf carts at night.

The size of the rooms were super, nicely decorated with all the right details and definitely according to European standards ie, hair dryer, coffee, warm water, good pressure, and fully equipped kitchen! There was a wonderful jacuzzi outside in the garden, the location is also convenient close to shops and restaurants and ofcourse the beach! Everything was seriously perfect. Christian and his staff were great, very friendly and always available! Highly recommend staying here especially cause it’s family friendly 🙃

The suite Perdenales was very clean, comfortable, and secure. A balcony facing a bamboo tree was a perfect place to have a cup of coffee in the morning and to hang out after arriving from the boat excursion to Saona Island/or the beach. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. They are willing to answer any of our questions, help us to book excursions to Saona Island, and accommodate our requests. The location is great as everything is within walking distance- several small grocery stores. ice cream, and restaurants. It is a 5 min walk to the harbor to get an excursion to Saona Island and Catalina Island and 10 min walk to Bayahibe Beach.

Central place in Bayahibe, simple but extremely clean and quiet, very welcoming staff, comfy bed and efficient air conditioning. second stay there and we will go again. Breakfast in a nearby restaurant with friendly staff, everything is made to make guests feel on holidays. Great job from Christian, his wife and all the friendly staff !

We rented the appartment Catalina and it was very comfortable. Good beds! Airco and fans present in bedroom and living room. A small kitchen which we did not really use. A fridge, microwave, coffee maker etc. Bathroom small but good. Good shower. The wifi worked perfectly. 2 small (big enough!) balconies. The staff was super friendly, thank you Titeca and the beautiful lady cleaning the rooms. The bedroom was nicely decorated for my birthday ;-) Location: for Bayahibe very well located, close to the beach, supermarket, mini market, dive shops, restaurants, ... Ample parking space. Bayahibe is very loud though, very busy, with day tourists coming over for a trip to Saona. Loads of motorbikes, cars, hustle and bustly. Not the place to go to for relaxation. We were there for scuba diving. But it always felt good coming back to our little appartment and balcony to overlook the world going by. If you are going to Bayahibe and want to be in the middle of it all, then this is the place!

Nice place. Few steps to all restaurants and bars. Room that has everything that you need. You get free coffee that you can make yourself in the room. People there are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is in other place in good restaurant. Also good breakfast. Really liked hotel and the town.

Absolutely everything. Giovanni was super nice and helpful, gave us a lot of useful information. Room was spacious and clean, bathroom was amazing and fancy. Minibar was stocked with soft drinks and snacks, all included in the room price. And the breakfast was really the best we had in Dominican Republic (and we spent there two weeks) - good quality Italian coffee, eggs, doughnut holes, empanadas, yogurt, sandwiches, huge fruit plate and more. Staff was helpful and friendly. Location was in a residential area (so don't expect touristy things or sightseeing there), but close to the beach and super quiet.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! The hospitality was unmatched, the food was super tasty, and the entire hotel was spotless and well maintained. A huge thank you to Giovanni, the owner, who went above and beyond to make my trip seamless. Even though I don’t speak Spanish, I felt completely at ease and well taken care of – all thanks to Giovanni’s personal attention. He arranged everything, from the taxi rides between Santo Domingo and La Romana to unforgettable excursion tours to Isla Saona and scuba diving in Isla Catalina – the highlights of my Dominican Republic vacation. The staff was super friendly, always ready to help and made me feel welcome at every step. It was the perfect, relaxing getaway I was hoping for. I’ll definitely stay here again whenever I visit La Romana. 10/10 experience – highly recommended!

Very cozy location, the room are comfy and with a really cool shower. You will feel safe and cared during your stay! Big Plus: the owner is a great chef and - at request - he can prepare the best authentic Lasagna and much more. While you wait for the dinner enjoy also a bath with a cocktail by the pool bar! Great support for amazing excursions in Saona and Catalina.

This family run hotel is a joy, such friendly staff, it was a really pleasant stay. The grounds are green and well maintained. The bed was really comfortable, and the room large and bathroom clean and shower good pressure. The breakfast was a real highlight, fresh fruit, eggs and little baked donuts with fresh fruit inside - has to be tasted to be believed!

We loved the pretty layout, the comfortable bed, the stylish bathroom, complete with two sinks, and the incredibly friendly staff. Everyone - the helpful security guard, the welcoming owners and the smiling breakfast servers - wanted to do their best for us. We mentioned when booking that my boyfriend has a gluten intolerance and there was a selection of thoughtfully selected products for him at the breakfast table. The breakfast was excellent!

Villa Iguana was such a pleasant surprise! It's extremely clean, the rooms very spacious and nicely decorated, and have a safe, the infinity roof top pool and pool area stunning with a great view of Bayahibeand the Sea with a STUNNING sunset, and the poolside bar very nice. Breakfast in the morning was great. They offer a free basic breakfast as well as menu options for reasonable prices. Checkin easy and they give you a lovely tour of the hotel. It's ideally situated in town and everything is in walkable distance in 5-10 minutes. They have gated parking across the street too, which is an added plus, as well as a security code to let yourself in. It was a really wonderful place to stay! And, the owners live on site, so if you have any issues, they are right there to help you. Wonderful people!

Very kind and helpful staff working here. I felt very welcome and I got help with anything I needed. Beautiful view from the rooftop. You can swim in the pool whenever you want. Room was clean and had everything you needed to stay here for a couple of days. Breakfast was delicious. Perfect working Wi-Fi. Close to restaurants and beach.

Staff are exceptional. The housekeeping is daily. They are all so friendly and do a great job. The breakfast server is so sweet. I was happy to have breakfast each day. I loved my fresh fruit juice. Nancy at reception is an asset, she is amazing. Location is good. They have a 360 degree view of the village from the rooftop. It helped orient me. The plunge pool is a nice temperature.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, they were trying their best to help. We arrived late but they still offered us a fresh, tasty dinner and freshly made pineapple juice. The facilities and rooms aren't new and shiny, but they are kept very clean - we won't see any dust or dirt in this place. You can go to the rooftop restaurant and take a look at see from there.

Nice hotel in the center of town. We had a large suite upstairs with a fridge & multiple beds. Clean , comfortable and mostly quiet. Nancy the host is friendly, helpful and provides good information. Good WiFi. Free parking across the street. Walking distance to beach & boats to the islands. We enjoyed our stay. Good but limited set menu bkfst.

I would rate our stay at Catalonia Royal La Romana at 7/10. The property of the adults only hotel is not big, there isn’t a big area to walk around. The 2 property pools are on the smaller side as well. The rooms are nice, modern. Property has a lot of security guards which is also nice. Our most favorite thing was the beach and the water. Super clear water, just as blue as the pictures in the advertisement. Would definitely recommend bringing a snorkeling mask as there is a lot of fish and reefs very close to the beach. The beach is nice, but is a bit small, which beach chairs pretty crowded. As well you have to come to the beach early to be able to get a beach chain under the umbrella. Drinks are served at the beach all day, which is a nice refreshment on a hot day. A huge downside for us was that there is A LOT of smoking guests on the property. There are no designated smoking areas, so people smoke in all public gathering places, and especially the beach, which is quite disturbing to those who don’t smoke and don’t appreciate the smell of it. I think this really needs improvement. A lot of the staff don’t speak English, but most are willing to work it out with understanding you. Room service was very slow, food was delivered cold, and orders aren’t delivered at night, even tho the option is available. Restaurants are average, without a too big of a menu. Our favorite restaurant was the Peruvian Siwichi. Overall, we had a good time, and enjoyed the beach and the water!

I enjoyed the cleanliness of the hotel; the staff was friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed the beach the most. The beach is the highlight of the entire Catalonia - La Romana - crystal clear water! The adults-only section is good, but once it's time for dinner/eating you will be merged with the family-friendly hotel. Personally, I didn't mind it at all though. The downside was the buffet breakfast, I would give the breakfast buffer a 6/10. The only time I'd rate the food 10/10 would be when we had dinner at Beloved.

I stayed at Adult only side. Property was well maintained,clean in every area. Staffs were very polite,warm & accommodating in every section. Food was excellent at the buffet as well as a la carte restaurants, specially at Beloved restaurant, superb dishes & service. Beach was kept clean daily by ground staffs & multiple staffs from cafes on the beach delivered drinks,water to guests with amazing manner. I've been going to this area for over a decade in different hotels but Catalonia Royal is by far better than any others, even better than much higher cost place like Hilton La romana. Looking forward to going back soon.

The resort itself is beautiful, cozy and intimate, it was a pleasure walking around in the evening. The rooms are big, modern and clean (we especially loved the double shower). The beach is lovely and they have quite a few activities (yoga, dance lessons) that you can do during the day. The food was diverse and fresh - we likedthe bloved and peruvian restaurants the most; stuff was friendly and eager to make your stay as pleasurable as possible

Resort was clean and well maintained; pathways were marked, well lit, and had security cameras; security was present and walking resort regularly; staff was friendly and helpful; dinners were excellent and service impeccable...including bar service; rooms were cleaned/replenished twice each day; pool was clean and relaxing; live entertainment was a great way to wind down at the end of the day. Would recommend to anybody looking for a relaxing and carefree gataway!

Property is beautiful at the resort office, restaurant and beach. The water is gorgeous but it's mostly saltwater pools. No direct access to the beach from the resort but still amazing views of the water. The restaurant food is pretty good just a little pricier than the other food options nearby. The villa was gorgeous inside and out. Gated and totally private. The lights in the backyard and pool weren't working - called the front office and someone came out to try to fix it but he couldn't so he said maintenance would come the next day but no one ever came by or called us about the issue...not a big deal but definitely a bummer. We were also told that our private pool and jacuzzi didn't have a heating element so that was a bummer as well. Overall staff were patient and kind. "Room service" came every day to clean the villa and leave bottled water. We weren't told there would be so much construction and renovation going on. Workers could be heard every morning in the back and front of the villa and the views around the property were rubble and construction. Still a great trip and awesome property. Can't beat the views!

We just spent 2 weeks at Tracadero Beach Resort with my family and had a brilliant time. We had a three bedroom penthouse with ocean views. The apartment facilities were great, three en-suites so no fighting over the toilets 😀. The swimming pool/beach area was very beautiful and clean with plenty of staff around to deal with any safety issues, food and drinks you require served to your deckchair. Reception staff were excellent, very helpful and polite, big thanks goes to the reception manager Giulia who made sure everything was ok during our stay. As part of our stay we had breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the sea every morning and was usually greeted by the happy Johnny who made sure we well served. Breakfast choice was limited but very nice especially the choice of freshly prepared juices made to order. The restaurant dinner menu was of good quality and can see why people visit the restaurant from outside. The choice of salt water swimming pools was great, kept my boys busy. I especially enjoyed jumping into the sea from various points on the complex. The resort wasn’t very busy at this time of the month so there were plenty of sun beds available and on many occasions had the many swimming pools to ourselves. This resort is close to the village with a number of Mini supermarkets selling the basics, and a few restaurants, recommend Ombelico del Mondo run by a friendly Italian lady. Would highly recommend Tracadero Beach Resort to others.

Truly spectacular gardens grounds and pools. Probably the best of any hotel. Really relaxing. Hotel was quiet. We stayed in an apartment which was large clean and modern. Shower and barhroom was excellent great water pressure. Food and drink prices on site were reasonable compared to outside and quality and atmosphere and service far superior. Outside hotel felt like i was constantly being on my guard not to be ripped off. So a few minor gripes. The room was rather unfurnished for such a large apartment. Only a bed sofa and coffee table. Some random kitchen stuff so coffee making facilities but no milk 2 spoons 4 forks no knives and no plates why ? Only got 1 small piece of soap for the 4 days we were there. Beach towels where supplied on arrival but where removed when used but not replaced. So really minor stuff to make place more professional. Amazing pools 8 in all with amazing views but not really serious swimming pools mainly sitting and watching the scenery type infinity pools.

The hotel itself is amazing and best property in Bayahibe and Dominicus. Spacious clean apartments with living room, terrace and balcony, very quiet, good restaurant, lots of seafront space and amazing service! The owner is Italian so you can really feel the good taste and detail in everything! The area around is still being developed but you don’t really need to go anywhere from the hotel which is massive unless you plan excursions etc.

We stayed at Tracadero for 3 nights over New Years Eve. Our apartment was spacious and clean and I appreciated the extra amenities in the kitchen and there was a huge dressing area in the room for our suitcases. The food at the restaurant is excellent! The cocktails are also amazing. We did feel like the service in the restaurant in the evenings was slow and it almost felt like they didn’t want to serve sometimes, or they were overwhelmed. This was the only damper on our experience. The pools and views were amazing! We stayed as a family with our 7 year old son. We will definitely come back and would love to bring our extended family here to enjoy the bigger apartments.

My husband and I went on vacation together. It was an unforgettable holiday. The room was very beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly and pleasant. Whenever we had questions, everyone did their best to help. The food, both in the restaurants and buffets, was excellent—always fresh and delicious. The pools were very clean, and the sea was simply amazing: no waves, crystal-clear water. The beaches weren’t very large, but they were very comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this resort!

Amazing services from all staff clean pools, everything was perfect will def come back! The staff in the restaurants such as John, willie and all ladies in Mare restaurant. The bartenders in the premium and main lobby all of them were excellent.. Beach is impeccably kept this resort exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend the Hilton La Romana! I'm the kind of traveler who does a lot of research before choosing where to stay, and I like to feel confident that I’ve picked the best option even before the trip starts. In this case, I can say with certainty—Hilton La Romana did not disappoint! Exceptionally friendly staff – everyone we interacted with was welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. High-quality food – While most all-inclusive resorts don’t offer gourmet-level cuisine, Hilton La Romana delivers consistently high quality meals. Amazing location – right on the beach, perfect views, and easy access to everything. Overall great experience.

We honeymoon-ed here for 4 nights, and it was perfect! The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and the facilities were beautiful, well-maintained, safe, and walkable. The food and drinks were delicious with lots of options, and all of the staff were very generous with portions when serving/ making drinks! The only thing I noticed was that the family and adult side have quite a bit of overlap, so if you’re very set on being at an adult-only resort, that might be a negative. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and plan to come back!!

Coffee and sugar in the room were renewed once every 3 days. The people working in the bars are not friendly and welcoming, especially in the bar in the pool and in the buffet where food is served. I really didn't like that you can't put food on your own in the buffet, but have to wait for the workers who don't speak English at all. The person who served pancakes, without gloves, moved all the pancakes with his bare hands, separating them from each other, constantly rubbing his hands on his trousers. No one helped to take the suitcases from the room before checking out.

This Hotel was amazing. 9/10. The food was amazing from Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Only thing is I wish they had different menu for Lunch thats not for Dinner but I understand. The breakfast buffet was stunning!! Every type of breakfast food you can think of. Im from New York so I was amazed at how good the Mangu and salami and eggs were. Omelette on demand, fresh. The Dinner was amazing as well. My wife and I had a feast every night for dinner. I had steak, tostones, ketchup was fresh, spaghetti and bolenese sauce. Can you tell we are foodies lol The room was very clean, shower was hot , fresh towels on demand, just wish we had access to Netflix but you have cable. The balcony was dirty on floor which we couldn’t go out with no shoes. Thats the only thing that was bad in the room. The staff was amazing. They texted me on my phone to make sure i was ok. Brought out drinks to the pool. They served us on the big couch in lobby. Extremely helpful with excursions. They do need to clean the couches near the pool, very dirty. I dont require alot of maintenance when i go to hotels, just want to relax and I got that vibe. Im being very honest with this review. I loved it. I stayed 3 nights over weekend. We will be back!

We loved this hotel until the hiccups hit, everything was solved but as a Dominican living in the USA I felt disrespected by some of the waiters/bartenders attending the pool. Everything got solved by Hotel Manager Virginia Gomez. On the other hand, the pool was amazing, the vibe, the sunset, we loved it! Our kids had a great time, beware of the mosquitoes (we are in the Caribbean, so bring repellent). Shout out to Chef Alejandro at breakfast who was amazing and all the girls attending the breakfast area. Also a special mention to Enrique Soba for the top-notch service before, during and after our stay. Rooms were so clean and the hotel well kept. As a diamond member they greeted us and gave us all the perks. Location wise simply amazing!!! If you want to go enjoy Playa Dominicus, Saona island, Playa Esmeralda or Miches this is the perfect place to stay, also very close to punta Cana airport and the best empanadas in la romana "cativias". Just had an amazing stay at the Hilton in La Romana! 🌴✨ The staff was incredibly friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The buffet breakfast was fresh, tasty, and full of great options every morning. And don’t even get me started on the view—absolutely breathtaking! Highly recommend if you’re looking for comfort, service, and a peaceful getaway in paradise.

It’s a new hotel with good facilities and very pleasant resort vibes. As Hilton members, we appreciated the room upgrade even though this was not required from a Hilton Garden Inn. We also enjoyed the daily breakfast which had a good selection of western breakfast items including cooked-to-order omelettes. The female staff serving at the restaurant were attentive and friendly during our breakfast. The fitness centre was also well-equipped for an exercise session. There are restaurants about 15-20min walk away and the hotel does provide a complimentary one-way buggy shuttle in the day. One area to improve was the housekeeping and we felt they could do better with cleaning of the room floors - for example, mopping it on alternative days. Another thing was that the hotel was unable to provide toothbrushes or toothpaste which was a minor inconvenience.

The hotel is modern and very clean. It’s a great place to spend the night before a cruise if you don’t need to eat. There isn’t anywhere walkable to eat and the restaurant is understaffed and the service was so bad that after sitting down for 30 min without any acknowledgment from staff I went out to the bar to get drinks to bring back to restaurant. The waiter never did bring me water and charged again for the drinks (have to pay for water) I paid for at the bar. It was a 2 hr wait to get food which was cold and mediocre. Even trying to pay our bill was quite the process. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the food situation.

If you’re looking for a calm but entertaining scene, this is the place for you. My husband and I wanted a relaxing vacation away from the parties at Punta Cana. The demographic of guests are ages 30’s and above of mostly couples and families with young children. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a cold beverage and plenty of smiles. The staff is amazing. They are truly passionate about their work and it shows in the hospitality. The rooms and hotel are immaculate. It is a large property, beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating around beautiful, well-groomed gardens and romantic lighting. Flamingos and peacocks greet you in the center garden. The food is wonderful- coming from two Italians, this says a lot! Our suggestion- skip the restaurants and enjoy the buffet for dinner as it has a little from each restaurant. If you want to reserve ahead of time, you can email the property. The check in could have been slightly better. We were assigned two double beds instead of a king. The gentleman said he didn’t look at the room type and apologized. People wake up at 6am to put beach towels down at sunbeds on the beach and then leave to return later. There are signs that say not to, but the hotel should have more of a system in place to avoid this. It was really inconvenient for honest guests to enjoy an umbrella arriving at 8:30am and nearly everything was “taken”. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation and very highly recommended! You will not regret staying here!

The property is beautiful and well maintained. We stayed in the renovated rooms and they were modern and comfortable. We traveled with our baby and the room didn’t have a microwave to sterilize the bottles so plan accordingly! (Luckily we found out prior to traveling). The housekeeping ladies did a wonderful job! In terms of the waitress/waiters they also we’re very kind! Special thanks to Estefany and María José, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home! The food at the reservation restaurants was really good unfortunately they only let you have one reservation per restaurant; for example, we stay a week and we’re only allowed 4 reservations (one per restaurant). The food at the buffet is ok…the main complaint is that food was cold but I can’t leave out the fact that there were mosquitoes all over the fruit and bread, etc perhaps the hotel should think of a way of covering them. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and the pools were cool too. Overall, we had a good experience!

This was probably our 5th stay at this resort and we absolutely love it! We usually come with friends but this time we brought our daughter and her family - husband and two boys 5 and 3 years old. We stayed a full week and everything was absolutely fantastic! From our rooms in Building 7 (which I prefer), to the beautiful grounds, restaurants, food, activities and newly introduced items like silent disco and dancing in the courtyard. The staff is exceptional at every step and everywhere. We took tennis lessons with Junior every morning, then played at the pool and on the beach. We played soccer at the beach, tried every restaurant, enjoyed drinks at the recently renovated beach bar, shopped at the stores… In one word - this resort offers everything your heart may desire for any kind of vacation. We will certainly be back!

One reviewer was complaining about the Russian flag. I guess the administration paid attention and removed Russia's flag at the entrance. There was no more construction at the resort. I've read many complaints about construction going on, I guess they finished it before our arrival. There were many Russians, but all that I met were living in US, they didn't come directly from Russia. A lot of people form Argentina as well. Very few English speaking guests. This is a mostly Spanish speaking resort. Few of the staff have an acceptable grasp of English. Most are at the front desk.The only downside is that many of the activities and the shows are mostly in Spanish (some are trying to also repeat it in English and French, but it's hard to understand it). This was not a big problem for us as we could use a translation app in some situations. Customer service was not that great, it was OK, but not great, even after leaving a tip at every breakfast, lunch, dinner, on the beach, front desk, room, etc... Everyone is pretty laid back and moving slow (they say it's islands time..). Just want to say that customers service was not bad, but I've seen better at other resorts in Mexico and Jamaica, maybe it was just luck.. Room and resort was clean. Beautiful resort with birds. Beach awesome. Food was OK, not bad, but nothing too fancy. Shows were just OK as well. Kids playground only open for one hour a day. Snorkeling on site. This is one to go back in our book.

Very good hotel, but not perfect. Good: fantastic beach with crystal clear water. Variety of food. Kind and attentive personal. Gorgeous territory, buildings and wild life. Nice entertainment all day long with many activities. Eco Purified water system. Bad: Room had cocraches by the coffee machine. The beach area was not maintained well enogh, some food and garbage were not picked up over night. The domestic market on the left side of the hotel brings lots of attention from tourists and native people. Each of four restaurants can be visited once per their schedule. Bads are minor, hotel still deserves 5 star and your attention.

Very cleanplace.Owner is the manager and he is very professional,attentive and very useful because of his knowledge in the area . Sound of the waves helped fall asleep very fast. A lot of dogs but they are very friendly ,clean and well trained .it feels safe to stay at this hotel.view and terrace huge area is ideal to relax and watch the ocean .Beach right there and water is clean.

We paid the extra 5 USD for the breakfast and it was worth it. Coffee, juice, omelette, fruit ... all prepared by the landlord Frank. He was there for us all the day. He organizes dinner takeaway, we took pizza one day and chicken the next day, all with a nice bottle of wine. BTW, Frank is a certified sommelier so the wine choices are really good. The place is super quiet and safe (three dogs were protecting us :) - we smelled of our home dog and we were immediately friends ... The views of the nearby fjord and the steep beach cliffs are impressive.

The stay was great, Frank was helpful and welcoming, parking was secure, the location and views were wonderful. It is easily the best house in the area with friendly staff that made you feel like you were part of the family. I felt like I was visiting a relative’s home, and reminded me of Rio. It felt like an uncle let me stay at his beach house for the weekend. I loved it, and it gave a real “slice of life” perspective to my Dominican Republic vacation.

The property and host are fantastic! Frank offers clean rooms, drinks and breakfast for very reasonable prices, and super helpful with anything you might need! Recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with a great view.

Frank was very friendly and helpful. He went out to get food for the guests so we didn’t have to venture out in the evening. Very comfortable rooms, great views of the sea and sunset from the terrace.

I stayed at this hotel for one week. The location of the hotel is excellent. It is very clean. Rooms have air conditioning as well as ceiling fan. The staff are superb. They are very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay in downtown La Romana.

The staff at the hotel and their hospitality was excellent. Location was central to the city and the breakfast (continental) were very well appointed. We enjoyed our staff and meeting the local people of La Romana

The rooms were spacious , we got a free upgrade that allowed us to use the premier club restaurants , lounges and concierge . It was fantastic! The service was outstanding. All the employees were very helpful and made our stay amazing . There was a big variety of food on the buffet . The food was ok . The beach was clean with heaps of beach beds and the water was stunning ! The room was always clean the cleaning staff were always checking on us if we needed anything .

The beach of the hotel is amazing, the room was really big and nice. The restaurants for lunch and dinner were not so amazing, but ok. The breakfast was really good and lot of variety.

Beautiful beach like i have never seen,the room very big very clean and very confortable, room service high class . The staff very nice happy and respectful . Entretainment good and cleaness of the whole area exelent. The food very good and healthy. At the beach exelent security specially sony who was alert at all time. . Richard in the buffet give a good service. Alberto in the pool area bar good service and always happy. Juan Francisco and Osvaldo at the Recepcion were always smileing and very kind .

The breakfast was always wonderful with a lot of delicious food. The waiters were attentive and helpful especially Victor and Pablito but, we don't have complain of any of them.
