The hotel is located in a quiet spot - away from traffic - on the river bank. Quite of a surprise to wake up and see lovely river just few meters away. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast: wide choice. Can fully recommend. The hotel offers also fine dining - have not tried it but definitely on our agenda for 2020.

We enjoyed our stay in a recently renovated room, with a gorgeous view. Breakfast was really nice and there was plenty of choice. We also enjoyed the wellness, it was very clean, spacious and relaxing.

Check-in on arrival was very friendly and well-prepared. Breakfast buffet was very nice and the restaurant served great food for diner. Location of the hotel is great - overlooking the river on the one side and vineyards on the other.

Nice location just next to the river. The hotel is well decorated and the restaurant was fantastic. The room was a bit old and the sofa bed was not that comfortable but clean and spacious.

The owners and staff were awesome! The breakfast was amazing with made to order eggs and huge selections. The restaurant was impeccable with a wide variety of menu items (food and drinks) plus great service! I would stay here again for our next visit to Germany.

What a perfect place! We had a 4 days stay and experienced the best food, great friendly staff! Nature is truly breathtaking. The rooms are clean which was for us very important. Great atmossphere and had many laughs with the owner advise YESSS

The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional; and the hotel has very modern amenities. Unbelievably clean, with very comfortable rooms and facilities. The breakfast was very good, with a good variety of both European foods and standard American fare such as scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Secure parking under the hotel helped put my mind at ease. You would have to search for a reason to not be satisfied.

We had a most excellent stay. The room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, modern, well maintained and very clean. The breakfast was exceptional; such a great variety, even for fussy eaters. Easy access from the car park to reception and the rooms.

This is a lovely, beautiful, sparkling hotel. The restaurant is great. Dinner was a bit of a surprise as there's a distinct Asian touch to many dishes. The breakfast buffet is one of the most extensive I've seen. The rooms are huge, bathroom large, everything is clean and stylish. I especially liked the common lounge area with chairs and honor wine bar. It's in a small town away from the Mosel, but looks out to the vineyards on the hillside. Staff is great. I can highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is beautiful in a very nice location for relaxing trip in the Mosel. Since we had the private sauna suite, I’m a bit biased when saying that it was amazing. As someone who grew up with Finnish sauna, I must say the one we had in our room was superb. In addition, the bubble bath was amazing. The restaurant food was very good as well.

You cant see the river but that didn't matter, the view was good anyway. The owner is a wine producer and we did a very nice and funny wine tasting one evening. The wines are of good quality and we bought some bottles. We bought breakfast one morning which also was very good. In the village Kröv there are some restaurants, grocery stores, a communal outdoor pool and of course a lot of nice wines. We think Gerd Mullers is a very good place for a longer vacation. We will surely return.

We stayed in a holiday apartment (Ferienwohnung) with 2 bedrooms. Everything was clean and comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and a very nice bed (we only used 1 bedroom). The rooms are very spacious. Free parking by the side of the house. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Tasty breakfast, spotlessly clean huge apartment with everything you need, very pleasant owners (also speak English), location is convenient but is a small village so everything is nearby anyway - river, restaraunts, supermarket.

Location was so apt for a lovely weekend getaway. Host was amazing to guide us with the nearby spots. Hot-tub and Sauna are amazing to use. Perfect place to just relax in a home away from a home!

It is our second visit to Weingut Gerd Müllers which means we are very satisfied with this place. The owner produce there own wine which is of excellent quality and we brought some home. You can also easy buy bottles for your dinner in an fridge in the middle of the building. We went to a wine- and cheese pairing test in the wine fields which was arranged by the owner, this was both interesting and funny. In the neighorhood is an communal outdoor pool-Kröver Reich. In Kröv, which is a small town, there is a lot restaurants and a lot of other wineproducers. The apartment this time was Fewo 2 on the topfloor. It has a well eguipped kitchen, a sauna and a spa bath tub. Parking is avaible in close proximity. We love this place and its owner and will definity return a third time in the future.

A "must-stay" if you're in the area. Views are absolutely breathtaking, rooms gorgeous, staff super friendly, charming gardens and don't forget to visit the amazing museum and scary dungeon.

Fantastic mountain location with incredible views, great historic castle, lovely outdoor area. Very quiet. Great breakfast. Pleasant staff.

The staff and location are definitely the best. Staff was very kind and communication went well even if we don’t speak German. The location is amazing - indeed a castle, you feel back in time. The garden is beautiful and the area super peaceful. The hotel is 10 minutes walking from the main hiking trails in the region, and it is easy to access by car. Plus: very pet friendly!

An absolutely lovely hotel, comfortable beds, nice view of the vineyards, dog friendly, very clean and serves excellent wines. The breakfast buffet was good, with multiple options. We really enjoyed a short weekend getaway at Weingut Gehlen-Cornelius and will definitely come back one day.

The place is stunning! Nice location in the wineries of Brauneberg. Very friendly staff. The breakfast was great. It was possible to taste the wines of Gehlen-Cornelius in the lounge of the hotel. But there was no bar with snacks or food.. From the room, you have a great view of the wineries. Brauneberg is a small town, and there is not much to do. There are a lot of hikes in the direct neighborhood of the hotel. It was also possible to rent ebikes in the hotel.

My stay at the Schloss Lieser hotel was absolutely wonderful. Starting from the outside, the grounds around the hotel were in immaculate condition. The surrounding area with the vineyards and river were absolutely stunning. Inside of the hotel, I immediately noticed how amazing it smelled. I know it's an odd/little thing, but when you stay in a hotel, the smell matters! The entire hotel was incredibly clean and relaxing. The room itself was cozy and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and the views no matter what room you have in my opinion are great (I had a vineyard side view but recommend a river view). The restaurant was fantastic, the food was amazing (the soup was incredible), and the wait staff were great. The bar and lounge area are so relaxing and could have hung out there all night. The staff were friendly, and the on-site parking is a huge plus. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels, all over the world, and I would rate the Schloss Lieser a top 5 out of all I have stayed at. 5 stars all around.

Schloss Lieser is a first class hotel on the Mosel river in Germany. The building is a 19th century estate that has been transformed into a modern luxury accommodation while keeping the style of the past. Everything from the on-site chapel to the library makes you want to linger and relax. The spa area is phenomenal. We stayed in one of the suites with a view of the river and our room had everything you would want from a superior experience. Food and drink in bar and restaurant were super delightful and, most of all, the staff was excellent. Everyone from the general manager to concierge and reception and all the way down to basic services were very aware of any and all our needs and made our stay very comfortable. By the way, the general manager Pascal Renk is good friends with local wine maker Mario Stettler, whose vineyard outlet is in walking distance from the estate - highly recommend a visit ! The hotel bar and restaurant serve some of Stettler wines worth trying.

We had friends visiting us and wanted to take them somewhere special and beautiful. This place did not disappoint! This hotel is stunning and overall just beautiful. We booked two rooms, both were views of the vineyard and King size beds. The hotel was thoughtful/intentional and gave our friends a room with a separate room so they could have more space and privacy since they have a baby. Our room was clean, spacious and beautiful. We got a pedicure at the spa which was lovely and reasonably priced. We ate breakfast at the buffet which was well worth the €33. Not only did the buffet have a good selection of food and drinks, you could also order a la carte items from the kitchen at no additional charge. We also ate at the Purcelli bar, and the food and service were outstanding. Nearby towns have plenty to do and a plethora of good restaurants to eat at. We cannot wait to come back! This place is a must if you’re in the region or visiting Germany.

We loved everything. From the moment you lay eyes on this beautiful property, its gorgeous curb appeal and breath taking architechture, simply cant be beat. The comsierge was superb. Thankful that all of the staff spoke english.The complimentary drink was delightful. The room was gorgeous with a very comfortable bed and very relaxing luxurious bathroom. The evening dinner was delicious. Our waiter was great. The pool was so clean and inviting. The saunas were nice and hot, allowing you to go to a tranquil state. The breakfast was so delicious. It was everything we could have hoped for. We were celebrating our daughter's birthday and she truly felt like a princess.

We've had the most wonderful experience staying at Schloss Lieser. The hotel exuded charm and elegance, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. The spacious and beautifully decorated room provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. The amenities were top-notch, and the attention to detail was evident throughout the hotel. Great if only stay even for one night during a business trip. I had dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Definitely the most expensive dish of pasta I ever had. There was no other choise at 9pm in Bad Bertrich is almost night... Very quiet town with no other interest than the thermal baths and relex for retired people. Very nice indeed. Staff was very nice both at the restaurant and reception (Sartika), striving to welcome and please guests, which is not something you give for granted. A swimming pool and a quite decent fitness room are available as well. Very nice landscape in the surrounding area with plenty of paths to walk dinner off before it gets dark.

Fantastic getaway destination for a weekend stay (and more). Hotel location is great with hikes nearby and the hotel courtyard, pool and other facilities are amazing! We had two small kids and were worried that their play and shouts might not be met with the warmest feedback but the hotel staff was super welcoming. Special thanks to Frau Renate who was so warm to us all!

The Hotel is very cute and clean, The village is very cute as well. Getting to Bad Bertrich is a little difficult if you don't pay close attention to road signs and directions. The street that the Hotel is on is very tiny. Being from America, I am used to wider streets. With that said, it was a fantastic experience and would totally visit again if I return to this part of Germany.

Eine Woche habe ich mir zum Entspannen vorgenommen, und das hat wunderbar geklappt, da das Haus eine seht gepflegte Anlage für Wellness und viele Anwendungen anbietet. Man kann jederzeit selber bestimmen welche Anwendung(en) man gerne haben möchte. Aquagymnastik war sogar im Preis inbegriffen! Man kann bei schlechtem Wetter alles, vor allem das Restaurant, das keine Wünsche offen lässt, geniessen, ohne einen Schritt vor die Tür zu machen.

Meine beste Freundin und ich wollten einfach mal 2 Tage entspannen. Das Hotel ist für ein 5*-Haus o.k., das Interieur ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen... Mit einem großen Koffer und einer Person ist der Fahrstuhl etwas zu klein. Das passt auch zu Bad Bertrich: der Ort besteht nur aus Hotels, Restaurants und Kosmetiksalons auf einer Fläche von 8qkm . Das hat den charmanten Vorteil, dass es dort sehr ruhig ist. Das trifft auch auf das Hotel zu. Die Zimmer sind gut isoliert. Im Gegensatz zum Wellnessbereich. Der Ist zwar schön und überraschend vielfältig für ein Hotel, aber es gibt keinen richtigen Ruheraum. Der kleine Raum mit 6 Liegen hat keine Tür und dient als Durchgangszimmer, um in den Außenbereich zu gelangen. Ruhe bekommt man hier nicht. Das Frühstück war super, die Servicedame taff und sehr nett. Alles in allem: ein schöner Aufenthalt, für das Geld (Sparpreis) o.k., sonst hätte ich mich geärgert.

Everything. The property throughout is spotlessly clean, modern and bright. The staff are attentive and welcoming. The food here, both breakfast and dinner were delicious, probably the best breakfast selection at any guest house we have visited. The property has a lovely garden area where you can drink and have food. All in all, this is a great hotel in a lovely village.

It was quiet in the evenings and had a mini fridge in it with a few items to buy. The location was great also with the Mosel being a few feet away. We didn't eat dinner there, but the small bar was great and the bartender (curly reddish/brown hair) was really nice and made outstanding cocktails. Small parking lot, but we found a spot to park our car. Would definitely recommend the place and stay there again.

The guesthouse is great value for money. Amazing place for a very good price! We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment which had a fully equipped kitchen, a living room and a great balcony terrace where we had breakfast and drinks in the evening. There is a great view of the Mosel Valley surrounding vineyards from the balcony. The family who owns the restaurant also produces their own wine which we tried and really liked. The breakfast is also worth the price as it is european with a wide selection of cheese, charcuterie, fruits, cereal, jams, boiled eggs etc. Our host, Christina was also very nice and accommodating. Fully recommend this guesthouse!

Very nice, small, apparently family run hotel with a big room with a sofa and queen bed. It's a bit too far to walk to the center of town, but it is located in a quiet area and has free parking. The included breakfast is excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. Even cooked eggs to order for us. The hotel restaurant offers a traditional German dinner menu. Our only issue is the stairs are somewhat steep. The staff are very helpful and kind.

Beautiful small hotel in a good location. Very nice rooms and a very friendly staff. We were greeted and showed around on arrival, and the there is ample parking in the back for the guests. The breakfast room was quite amazing and they’re serving a tasty breakfast with a good selection that would cater to most tastes. It’s good value for money and is highly recommended.

Nice friendly and helpful staff that speak a decent English for those of us who are havibg difficulty with our German. The room was clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. Dinner in the restaurant was also very good. All in all a pleasant stay and we would be happy to come back.

Herr Walter's place, this hotel, was super clean, convenient, and the breakfast buffet was out of this world. The gentleman owner came out and asked everyone how breakfast was. He stood and chatted with us for a while after our stay. We found things to be commendably, clean, organized, easy to access, and the staff very friendly.

Rummet var utrustat med jacuzzi, välfungerande luftkonditionering och var stort, rent och bekvämt. Frukosten var god och omfattande, information fanns 24/7 och personalen var mycket trevlig och tillmötesgående. Hit ska ni åka med era cyklar och njuta av omgivningen vid Moseldalen. Bilen parkeras på egen hotellparkering i direkt anslutning till huvudbyggnaden och cyklarna låses in över natten i ett lätt tillgängligt garage.

The location is quiet and a few km out of town. Comfortable beds, great AC, nice shower, and very clean. My room had a balcony but it was too hot to sit outside. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices. The bicycle storage is secure and easy.

Very friendly staff and a beautiful old building functioning as a mix of cafe and B&B. We were greeted with a glass of sekt and shown to our very fine and spacious room that both had a bedroom and a living room (we suspect we were upgraded without knowing for sure). Best breakfast we had for very long! If you are biking in the area, they have a small closed yard for storing the bikes. Highly recommended

The hotel in the historic downtown of Wittlich is a great little place with local charm, safe, clean and with very friendly staff. The rooms were spacious by European standards and comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic. It is in the heart of town with shops and dining options within walking distance. Parking is off site, but just a short walk away. Highly recommend, will come again next time we're in town!

And that is where the boat ride on the Mosel river starts from. The staff were very helpful. We reached late in the evening and all the nearby restaurants were closed. The hotel receptionist was kind enough to get us a some bread with slices of cheese and cucumber from their restaurant. The room was clean, beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good enough. One evening we took our dinner at the Hotel’s restaurant, and the dinner was good too. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby. One restaurant worth mentioning was the Alte Zunftscheue on the other side of the Mosel river, less than 15 minutes of walking distance. There are lot of wineries, vineyards and hiking routes near the hotel. The climb to the Grevenburg Castle Ruins starts very close to the hotel.

Lovely hotel in an ideal location overlooking the river. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room with river view was very clean and comfortable and although there was no balcony, it did have patio doors which opened to provide spectacular views and give a feeling of bringing the outside into the room. The breakfust buffy was great with a good range of hot and cold food and served in a lovely dining room. We checked out a number of restaurants in the town before deciding that the hotel seemed to offer the best menu for our taste and the price compared favourably too. We were so happy with our choice as the food was fantastic!! We ate out on the patio at the front of the hotel which is an elevated position and very much enjoyed the view over the river and surrounding town. Easy to walk across the adjacent bridge to explore the other side of town. Boats leave from near the front of hotel for cruises to the likes of Bernkastel Kues. Would highly recommend this lovely, well maintained hotel.

Wonderful hotel by the river. We enjoyed staying there because everything was easily accessible. Free parking at the hotel. Easy walk to the shopping areas. Lots of good restaurants nearby. We had a great view of the river. Room was very comfortable and larger than we expected. Had a couch and two other sitting areas. Worked very well for our family of four. Kids were also happy with the free WiFi. Breakfast was included and was very good with variety of items. Staff were especially helpful and gave us info about the area and things to to do. We really liked this hotel and would stay here again.

We actually changed our plans and stayed at this hotel at the start and end of our trip. We were readily accommodated for the very late reservation. The rooms are typical for Germany but very clean and comfortable. The desk staff speaks very good english and was very helpful. We had a wonderful breakfast and tasty dinner on the terrace. This sits right on the Mosel river in a very picturesque town.

We booked the suite and were really fond of the room and the really comfy beds; our daughter had her own bathroom and ours contained a walk-in shower and what looked like a fantastic bathtub (since it was 30 degrees outside we didn’ t use it). The separate living room was very neat, cosy and practical. The pool had exactly the right temperature and was quite large; the sauna’s were very cozy and very clean. Breakfast was wonderful with great choice and dinner at Braukeller was ok. We asked for a table at the Saxler s restaurant the second evening and that was really a nice experience. Although a bit overpriced in comparison to our Belgium gastronomy (we ordered different dishes from the menu) it was one of the best meals we ever had in the Moselle region, all fresh and tasty dishes with the right seasoning and perfectly cooked. Our only suggestion would be some sort of fan or airco in the rooms but this is rather unusual in Moselle I think. To end my review: we will be booking this hotel again when we will visit the region as we really loved every aspect about it.

The small town it is located in was a great place to stay, and easy to walk around.

We stayed overnight to catch a flight early the next morning. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again if we have an early flight in the future.

We had a really good stay here. The free shuttle transfer was perfect and there waiting for us upon arrival and at 5am in the morning. Peaceful location and really lovely staff. Very clean comfy rooms.

Det fanns dock en fläkt som hjälpte lite. All el bryts när man lämnar rummet, vilket var lite synd då vi har en kylbox. Det är en mycket liten ort med litet utbud av restauranger, men restaurangen på hotellet var mycket bra så det gjorde inget. Ganska liten men god frukost. Det fanns en vinmakare bara 100 meter bort där vi var på en trevlig vinprovning. Det fanns också cyklar att hyra på hotellet.

Great location with a super view of Zell. This must be at least the third time we’ve stayed here. The apartment is spacious and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. Bikes are available to borrow to cycle along the scenic river. Restaurants and places to try the local wine are nearby. The owner can also pick you up from the nearby Hahn airport for a reasonable fee. Recommended! We’ll be back again.

Excellent, central location in a courtyard in the heart of the old town, yet quiet at night. Super-convenient for bike tourists, as it's right off the Moselradweg and has a big, locked garage for bikes across the alley from the hotel (with plugins for e-bikes, although I didn't try them). My room was large, comfortable, and well-appointed for the price. Breakfast was in a cozy, traditional room in part of the restaurant and had good choices. All the staff I interacted with were helpful and accommodating. I enjoyed my stay and would stay there again when traveling along the Mosel.

Since it is family room, we have to go all the way upstairs. There is no lift, so if you have to carry big luggage it can be hard. However it is two floors, so manageable. There is two rooms so adults and kids can be seperate and a common bathroom. So the room itself is like a mini apartment and spacious. The location is perfect and right on the city and can see the river from the room. The Hotel and restaurant is a mix of German and Indian, so good option for delicious indian food which we enjoyed. The host family background is India and we had a great hospitality.

The perfect "home base" to end a day of motor riding and recharge the batteries. The restaurant is very good with a lot of "Snitzel" choices. Prices are fair, choices plenty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is extensive. There is no covered parking but the owner let us park our motorcycles in his garage, which we really appreciated.

Da wir mit mehreren Personen gereist sind, um über Weihnachten die in der nahen ReHa befindliche Mutter zu besuchen, haben wir mehrere Zimmer in den beiden zuzammen gehörigen Häusern "Hohenzollern" und "Ambiente" gebucht. Die Einzelzimmer im fast historischen Haus Hohenzollern waren zwar klein, aber sehr gemütlich und modern eingerichtet, so dass diese Mitreisenden sich wohl fühlten. Absolutes Highlight war unser Doppelzimmer "Deluxe" im neuen Haus "Ambiente" direkt hinter dem Hotel. Supermodern eingerichtet fehlte es über elektrische Fensterrollos, Safe oder automatisches Bettlicht an nichts. Über 40 qm um sich wohlzufühlen. Allein das Bad so groß wie in manch anderen Hotel ein Einzelzimmer. Also alles perfekt. Das Personal und das Inhaberehepaar sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffett reichhaltig, so dass für jeden etwas dabei ist. Egal ob man Rührei, Lachs und verschiedene Wurst- und Käsesorten mag oder eher auf frisches Obst, Säfte, Joghurt und Müsli steht. Da wir Halbpension gebucht hatten, hier noch ein kurzes Wort zu dieser: Abends gab es 3-Gang-Menue, bestehend aus Vorspeise, Hauptgang und Dessert. Auch hier eine ausreichende Menge sehr schmackhafter Speisen, die uns überraschten wie z.B. Tomatencremsuppe, Riesenjägerschnitzel mit frischen Pilzen, Pommes und Salat, Aprikoseneis mit Aprikosenmousse oder Pastete an Salatbouquet, Hähnchenfilet mit Kartoffeltalern und Salat, Eistorte mit Sahne. Wir empfehlen gern dieses Haus.

Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Inhaber, so auch das Personal. Schöne und ruhige Zentrallage mit sehr gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Frühstücksbüffet qualitätsvoll und reichhaltig. Zimmer sauber und modern eingerichtet, sehr geräumig da auch mit Terrasse und Balkon, Parkplätze ausreichend und direkt am Haus. Angenehme Mischung von zeitgemäßem Komfort in historischer Villa mit Charme. Auch Sonderwünsche konnten allesamt freundlich erfüllt werden. Fazit: Wir haben uns mit unseren Vierbeinern bestens versorgt gefühlt. Daher sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen wieder!

This was the best equipped apartment we stayed in during our recent European trip, comfortable beds, good hot water, quiet location. within reasonable walking distance to supermarkets. Because we were only traveling by trains, the host, Mike, offered to collect us and take us back to the train station. Our hostess, Chisato is very friendly and helpful. A beautiful location with a garden with direct access to the walking path along the Mosel River.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a shuttle bus available at any time. The breakfast was varied, fresh and tasty. All facilities were very clean. If you stay at the Landhotel, you may need to go to the neighbouring hotel for breakfast. It is a two-minute walk. The generous checkout time is also a great advantage.

It's a very quiet and comfortable place, perfect for a short stay before a morning flight. The village is tranquil and safe. There was a shuttle service, but I didn't use it. Still, it's great to have this option. The receptionist was very clear and helpful.

Fantastic location! Our room had a terrace along the side of the building which was not part of the main hotel. The room was spacious, clean and up a flight of well lit twisting steps. The breakfast room was across the road, but not a problem - although up lots of steps to the front door of the main hotel which again was no problem for us. The breakfast was phenomenal! The options provided were the fresh, plentiful and delicious! The owner/chef/manager could not do enough for us. When we sat down, he explained all about where the different foods were (hot/cold/breads),and even brought our attention to an event in the main market square that evening. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Staff were very friendly and welcoming! It’s centrally located and we had rooms along the river which were very quiet at night. Beds were very comfortable and nice bathrooms.

Location was great. We had a room with balcony overlooking the Moselle so a great way to wake up! A good spread for breakfast and hosts were very helpful with info on local restaurants, flower shops etc.

Very nice breakfast and a lovely room with a view over Wittlich. Dinner was very tasteful but price/quality is rather high. Try also some restaurants in Wittlich, it's only a 6 min drive to the center and there are nice restaurants where you pay less for a good dinner. We enjoyed the walk (about 9km) through the woods that starts directly at the hotel with some relaxation in the spa afterwards. Location is central between Trier and Cochem close to the highway so you can easily reach Trier, Cochem, Bernkastel,the Moselle region within 30-40 min drives.

We went to this hotel for a short winter break. On arrival the woman at de reception was very friendly, she checked us in, asking us if we had a nice trip to the hotel. Then she went with us to show our room. The room was spacious and very clean, good bathroom, large TV, very large balcony and a good WiFi signal. The hotel is at a nice walking distance from the village. Breakfast was nice, all the things you need where there. We booked half board, so diner was also at the hotel. Diner was good, but the main course was a bit on the small size, just a cesar salade. The second day, valentine's day, the diner tasted good again, but we had to wait very long for our food. The main course was yet again fairly small... The taste was good, but just one small peace of meat, and again no potatoes or chips to join the meal. The staff in the dining room where very friendly also. And prices for drinks very fair! The hotel has a new new "little Spa" wich is nice, only problem is for the haman you have to go to the pool area, wich is rather strange, from the reception you can se the pool area...

Very nice hotel with friendly staff and a sauna. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant is very nice. Had an amazing view from our room on the third floor. Only negative thing was the bathroom which was a bit old, dirty and a rather impracticable shower.

We stayed in the Vulcano hotel for 5 days in May 2013. Our stay was just great. The hotel is situated 1 - 2 km from Wittlich. It is easy to find it and to get there by foot or by car. There is a huge free car parking alongside with the hotel. In general everything was perfect in the hotel. Very friendly and nice staff, at the reception, restaurant and cleaning ladies. The receptionists were at hand, always ready and willing to provide any information and replying to our questions any time we asked. At our request we got a room at the top of the hotel with amazing view of Wittlich town and of nice landscape around. Everyday we were hiking around Wittlich, we were probably first turists in Spring in the forests around, as all day long we meet nobody there ?! Anyway, we enjoyed our walks very much following turists` paths we found on map we got in the Information office in the centre of Wittlich. We also went on short walks around the hotel. Our stay was fantastic, relaxing and sportive. We certainly will come back in the future.

Just a few minurtes away from the highway, it is situated on a hill slope. View over the village and on the other side of the valley you can see the vinyards on the hills. Very good sevice, nikce clean rooms. Smazll but cosy bar with ample choice in different drinks both local and international brands. Good restaurant, with well prepared food. Excellent bearkfast.

The studio on the first floor was clean and the kitchen was supplied with the basic necessities like tea, coffee powder, etc. The studio and seperate bedroom both overlooked the river. Although we didn’t use it, there is the handy option to use the laundry facilities for Euro5. Parking is on the street outside. Wifi is good. A call to the owner, who speaks English, provided the unlock code for the key safe.

Amazing location with view of the Mosel. Short walk to all restaurants and shops in Zell. Property was simple, but clean had everything we needed (kitchen utensils, coffee, tea, etc).

For dog lovers, you will be warmly welcomed by Max, the friendly long haired dachshund. It was too cold to venture out on to the patio which overlooks the river,but on a warm summer night, it would be a perfect place to end the day.

I think the hotel recently had a renovation. Everything is perfect. The bed, toilet and floor is all clean.There is no parking lot in the hotel, but there is a public parking lot(free fee) in front of the hotel. Lovely breakfast served by host. Very kind owner made good start of the day. No elevator. Nice Mosel River view.

This was a very pleasant hotel and different to staying in a chain establishment. The staff (owners?) were helpful. There is no lift but the woman on recrption insisted on carrying half our luggage up the stairs. The view from our window over the Mosel was lovely. The hotel is close to many places to visit on the Trarbach side of the river.

The hotel is well located in downtown with convenient parking. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable, including packing a lunch for us when we departed in the early morning, before they began serving breakfast.

Moseltor is on the Trarbach side of the Mosel across from the more congested Traban side. The hotel is small, clean and comfortable with a very good continental breakfast. Parking is a bit scarce, but the public lot with plenty of free space is only one block away. Moseltor provides good reasonably priced accommodations.

The location is great right in the middle of Bernkastel. We had the penthouse, and it was very spacious and nicely decorated. The best thing was the restaurant/breakfast. The food was excellent.

Frankfurt-Hahn is no longer nice. Flights have been greatly reduced, some airlines have left, leaving this hotel very lonely. We had a difficult time checking in because it was automated, and we could not reach anyone by phone for a long time. No more breakfasts. Though we had paid for them and no refund yet from anyone, but I'll deal with that when we get back to the USA. Staff was super friendly and we wish them good luck!!!

Um Mitternacht per Flugzeit angekommen. Kurzer Weg aus der Halle direkt zum Hotel. Check-In über den Automaten ging problemlos. Allerdings verwunderlich, dass nach Onlinebuchung nochmals alle Daten eingegeben werden musste. Vor allem die Eingabe des Geburtsdatums über ein "Blätterfeld monatlich" hat so lange gedauert, wie der Rest der Registrierung. Sehr gut geschlafen, keine Lärmbelästigung. Zimmerausstattung, Bad und Sauberkeit wie bisher in allen B&B aus Preis-/Leistungssicht super.

Super location with view of the Model River. A small apartment type accommodation perfect for a small family. The sofa bed was very comfortable! And the room was equipped with two cold bottles of water, a fridge and safe.

Very good restaurant in the house, The rooms are quiet and well isolated - and large with fine balcony to the river. (Junior Suite).

Lovely spot on the river. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.
