The facilities are in excellent condition — modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable. Our room was pristine, with a super comfortable bed and great attention to detail. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Everyone, from the front desk to the breakfast area, was welcoming and helpful. Speaking of breakfast… it was amazing! A generous and well-organized selection of hot and cold options, all fresh and tasty. The location is also great — close to everything but in a quiet, peaceful area. ✨ I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10, no doubt.

What an amazing find! Great location! Publix across the street. Beaches maybe 20 minutes down the main road. Lots of great seafood restaurants. We recommend the The Ugly Grouper! Great room. Comfortable beds. Blackout curtain! Nice and cold A/C. At 9 pm my family went to the lobby and played dominos, plenty of space. Oh! Also there is a public computer and printer. Made my kids day when I could print out coloring sheets. Breakfast is perfect! Egg whites with veggies and cheese. Meat choice rotates every day. sausage and biscuits. Cereals. Oatmeal. Yogurts. Fresh fruit. Juices. Coffee and tea bar. SHOUT OUT!! Teresa who was working so hard trying to refill the food station as quickly as she could did amazing. Also did a fantastic job trying to clean up after everyone. Thank you Teresa. Pool was awesome, heated. Hot tub was closed due to COVID.

Great hotel! An oasis in a busy part of Bradenton. Close to shopping and restaurants. Carrie, the receptionist who checked us in was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool area is very nice and relaxing, and the breakfast is better than many. We will definitely return.

The common areas were updated since I was last hear and the outside of the hotel now looks more modern with a fresh coat of gray paint. Breakfast buffet is extensive (eggs, bacon, cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastries, etc.) and very clean and well tended. Hopefully the rooms will get a little facelift soon as well - comfortable, clean, quiet, but showing some wear. Excellent bed linens and pillows. Great front desk staff!!

Check in was quick and easy in addition the front desk staff was friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast was fresh and tasty plus free! Breakfast buffet open at 6:30am. Plenty of well lit parking. They immediately upgraded my room to a suite with no added charge when I experienced a problem initially with the AC in my room.

It's amazing but the only thing I didn't get to is jacuzzi or any other spa cause it was just 1 day but im gonna do this again but will be for 2 day or more to experience it but I loveeee the stay

Brand new hotel modern and clean 5 star hotel, great cocktails on the menu! Great roof top views from bar and restaurant, would pick staying here again, eco friendly that don’t use plastic straws for drinks and hope other hotels follow , great pool area with comfortable loungers

I was in town for a long weekend due to attending a wedding. This hotel was amazing… the beach club was the perfect place to relax. My room was quiet, clean and again relaxing. Ate lunch and dinner in the downstairs resturant. Will stay here again!

Amazing hotel, amazing employees, amazing environment. Beautiful place to stay, lots of amenities. Pool bar, separate beach pool area, outdoor fun, just awesome.

We had an awesome time at the Palmetto resort and spa! Best stay we have had in a while. There are resort fees and you have to pay for parking but we were notified up front and was a secret! We had the best time at the resort beach club and kid friendly for our 2 year old! There was no place we would have rather stayed. Resort was clean and spotless! Joshua makes the best Espresso Martini I have ever had!

We absolutely loved the in-room whirlpool jacuzzi, it made the stay feel extra relaxing and romantic. The room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, and check-in was smooth. It’s a quiet spot in a convenient location and it’s now one of our favorites.

We like to get away sometimes, take sometime for ourselves. The whirlpool Jacuzzi is our favorite way to relax.

It can be difficult to find the hotel, as the signage is modest, and the building sits in back of a (Cracker Barrel) restaurant, away from the street; The Front Desk checked us in quickly, and the associate was friendly and showed a good sense of humor. The lobby area was clean with up-to-date furnishings. Our room was spacious, quiet (being away from the street was a plus for that) and comfortable. BUT, we noticed when we returned from dinner, the housekeeping was terrible, particularly in the bathroom: something (looked like a booger -- ewww!) adhered to sink, toothbrushing spatters on the frame of mirror over sink, sticky bathroom floor, dark-colored drip on light-colored wall, loose debris on bathroom floor and room carpet, dust on bedside lamp. I had planned to take a shower but changed my mind. Breakfast was very good, with good coffee and a variety of hot and cold dishes from which to choose. Checkout was quick. In summary, I had no complaints about the hotel except the uncleanliness of the room, which could have been due to one individual. It's in a convenient location with restaurants within walking distance. We had a restful night and a great breakfast.

My experience at the Best Western Plus was overall enjoyable and relaxing. The staff members were warm, attentive, and made check-in and daily interactions smooth and pleasant. The room was tidy, offering a comfortable environment for rest. One of the highlights of my stay was the whirlpool—truly a standout feature that added a touch of luxury and helped me unwind after a long week. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast in the morning, which offered a convenient start to the day with a decent variety of options. The hotel itself was surprisingly quiet, creating a peaceful atmosphere that allowed me to fully relax and recharge.

Jackie brews Good Coffee and made up a Terrific selection for breakfast. Jeremy was a very patient, kind, and adept maintenance person with a fascinating knowledge of the history of the hotels' neighborhood. Oscar was very welcoming and encouraged our explorations of the area. Lorena was a thoughtful and attentive housekeeper. Lots of hot water, good shower pressure. Shampoo and Conditioner smelled and worked good. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom very clean. The location made it easy to explore places from down town Bradenton, to beaches, to botanical gardens and restaurants which kept us busy for 7 days - with no repeats! Lots of lighting in the parking area.

We stayed at the Compass Inn for two nights, and were very impressed with the hotel. It is in a very quiet area, next to the bridge which goes across to Anna Maria island. Our room was upgraded to a marina view, which was extremely kind of the hotel staff, as the view from our balcony was lovely. The rooms are quite spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds, and tasteful decor. I would say that the air conditioning unit in our room was quite noisy, but didn’t really affect our sleep. Breakfast was part of our package, and everything we had was great, with plenty of choices to suit all tastes. We did eat in Floriday’s restaurant twice during our stay, which is attached to the hotel, and the dinners we had were excellent. The staff were very friendly, especially the lady at breakfast, and made for an excellent vacation. Thanks to everyone at the Compass Inn!

Caveat: I stayed here immediately following Hurricane Helene. I chose it because it was close to the Island and the best location for accessing the Island early in the morning. The staff were attentive, friendly and available. Many had been impacted by the hurricane but they showed up to work anyway with a smile on their face. The hot breakfast was very good and I appreciated that it started at 6:30am. The dining room staff is funny, friendly, caring and available. The room was very large by hotel standards, great little fridge, very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. I loved the laminate floors with area rugs as I have allergies triggered by most wall to wall carpeting. I also ate lunch and dinner at the Bar and Grill. Simple menu but fresh food that exceeded my expectations. I didn't try the 'nicer' restaurant next door. The pool is huge and inviting though I didn't have time to enjoy it. The views are beautiful from all the common areas. Lots of nice little touches--water always available in the lobby, 24 hour snack/sundry store, plenty of parking.

Perfect location, literally 5 mins drive to Anna Maria beaches and you get so much more for your money here than anywhere on the island. Clean, spacious, comfy rooms, great balcony with amazing sunset views (might not apply to all rooms), and the pool area is so nice. Really feel like you're somewhere special. The bar and grill is also great with very good food you can have round the pool. Breakfast was excellent with good variety. Staff are super friendly and attentive.

Loved that it is so close to Anna Maria Island. Loved the pool area and grounds. Staff was the best and always friendly and saying hello. Buffet was great. Some things noted….Room is showing wear. Caulking needs to be done around shower and toilet and was surprised the property is only a few years old. Wish there was a microwave in room. This is just a personal opinion but the bar area is too close to the check in area. The room echos and it is very hard to hear staff at check in desk area when people are loud and drinking at bar area. Wish there was a wall or some kind of partition because you could tell staff couldn’t hear while they were on the phone due to the bar area. Coffee table needs to be removed from buffet area . I saw way too many “almost spilled hot coffee accident” on kids that were going in and out of the buffet area due to the congestion. Just seemed like an accident waiting to happen. Overall would

Excellent hotel! Amazing pool, great complimentary breakfast with a ton of options and friendly staff. Cindy, the server in the pool area, was very outgoing and attentive! I also appreciated all the extra touches around the lobby/pool area like the hammocks and extra seating. The hotel was clean and the location was super convenient/close to manatee public beach on AMI. My only comment, more for awareness, it that the bathrooms are not very family-friendly. The shower is glass and there’s no sliding door so you feel very out in the open. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely return!!

Picture perfect location right off the river with views galore. Super clean and new looking hotel. Staff was so friendly upon check-in and helpful. Room was spacious and modern looking. I chose one with a view of the river which was worth the extra money. Comfortable beds and extremely powerful shower. A small desk for working and tv was wall mounted that you could swivel. Fridge also in room although unsure if there was a microwave or not. Hot breakfast in the morning although I chose a nearby hometown cafe to try (Robin's). My only minor complaint is no onsite parking - you have to go to a garage one block away which was no big deal. They did have parking for check-in and check-out so you aren't lugging your heavy luggage around. The restaurant and rooftop bar was closed for remodel unfortunately, but both looked amazing. The pool is on the rooftop as well for amazing views. Not many other restaurants within walking distance unfortunately that I found. This hotel was a very nice place and I would stay here again. Worth the moderate price and not super expensive here.

We stayed here on our way to Anna Maria Island. Location was perfect, right on the River walk, across the street from Pier 22 restaurant. Parking was convenient: a space to comfortably unload and then space in a garage a block away. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory; we mostly stay in B&Bs when traveling so this was not as nice but functional. I would suggest offering peanut butter to go with toast. My one complaint is WiFi access. As one drives down highways, there are signs advertising free WiFi ( or free waffles and WiFi). To access free WiFi I had to sign on to my Marriott Bonvoy account. As is often the case with accounts one does not use often, I had a devil of a time signing on. And why did I need to sign on? To perform a Marriott transaction? No. To access free WiFi. I have been to so many places where accessing WiFi was easy ( including two different dentist’s offices. Hey Marriott, it’s 2025. Free WiFi is easy and common.

We stayed in a room with a balcony overlooking the river and the view was amazing. We were able to see the sunset from the balcony, and also from the rooftop restaurant. Walkable distance to the restaurant on the pier just across the street from the hotel, and the riverwalk was just a block away. Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff, and very safe with the police station just a block away. Free breakfast and parking as well.

At a reasonable price point this is a very nice hotel right in the best location of downtown Bradenton. Property is well kept and rooms were nice. We had a river view suite which had great views, even from the 3rd floor. The 8th floor has the roof top pool which shares a bar with the restaurant in the building. While the pool area closes at 9pm, you can easily go up and grab a table there and watch the sunset and enjoy a drink (often the restaurant deck is quite full). At 9, if you care to linger, we were able to move over an easily get a table at the restaurant and continue to enjoy. Service was great and breakfast, while not very extensive, was good and staff there was very friendly. The parking is diagonally across the street in a garage, but there are spaces to pull in at the front door to check-in. The area feels pretty safe (and the police station is basically across the street).

This hotel is located in a beautiful area where Old Main Street (w/ several bars and restaurants) meets the marina and the Riverwalk. It's a pleasant and straightforward drive to the beaches. We did not get to experience the rooftop bar and pool, but the lobby is very welcoming and spacious, and the room (King w/ view, 3rd floor) is large, well-designed, bright and airy, and has a fantastic view. Would be a great work-away-from-home spot. Free breakfast is very good. This hotel offers great value for the price! Only 2 minor negatives: water in shower would not get colder than lukewarm (cold shower after walking in the hot and humid air would be great); parking garage is ~ 2 blocks away (got caught in very strong thunderstorm and had to wait ~ 20 minutes to avoid getting soaked).

We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit, always going the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do, but still quiet enough for a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. We would absolutely stay here again!

We got upgraded to room 622 which had double aspect and was actually massive , We could see the water . A lovely old hotel with a great lobby . Breakfast was really nice and kept fresh and full up by the lovely Maria . Hot food was lovely and waffles were nice . Lovely area to eat breakfast and there 24 hour coffee in the breakfast room .We didn’t use the pool but it was small and dark. The location was great , we walked down and got the ferry to Anna Maria island which was on the river walk literally at the end of the street . Ample parking , some out front . Parking lot at the back and also across the street . Plenty of pubs to walk to if that’s your thing in historic downtown . We spent our evenings after dinner sitting out the front of the hotel . You could walk down and get an ice cream a few minutes away . The best bit was the staff , so helpful and polite .

Our two night stay was great! Hotel was quiet, front desk was very attentive, & best part is that the hotel is close to restaurants. It also has decent parking space considering it's in a busy area. The courts are close and parking can be hectic, so it was nice to have dedicated spaces when the hotel parking lot filled up. Our room was nice, we got upgraded and had a balcony. The sunsets were amazing! The only downside was when other rooms would flush or shower, we'd lose pressure in our shower. Also, if someone flushed we would hear it in our shower drain. It's an old building, so probably something with plumbing,however, not ta big deal. Hotel was also close to shops. We will definitely stay there again!

This is not your ordinary Hampton Inn. I love staying at Hampton Inns but this is a very special place inside and out. It is a historic building around 100 years old. Was originally the Manatee River Hotel. They did an awesome job restoring the building and keeping the charm of the original hotel. The employees are all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. We also enjoyed the pool which was also clean and very well maintained. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a week. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff came by our tables to remove empty plates, cups. The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. The location was perfect for walking around the historic downtown with restaurants and waterfront River walk. Beautiful area on Bradenton. We will be back!

I came to the Courtyard Bradenton on 1/20/23 and I stayed 4 nights. I found the room to be spotless, the pool and patio areas were lovely and relaxing. My room had nice amenities and was very comfortable. The cafe in the lobby was very convenient. Every member of the staff that I met were wonderful. They all were helpful and very professional. My room was very quiet. I stayed on the first floor. I had no idea that there were lots of soccer kids there for a tournament until I opened my door in the morning. My next 3 nights were equally quiet. It lightened my heart to see so many happy kids My trip was for a sad reason, my brother fell ill, and I stayed at Lakewood Medical Center with him until he passed. I needed a close place to stay afterwards to take care of matters. I am so grateful for the kindness of the staff and very appreciative of the hospital discount. Thank you, Leslee Siano

Breakfast was very good with many a la carte options; Front desk staff very friendly; Service staff courteous and helpful; Pool and pool area were clean and very well maintained; Lobby area clean; Room was clean and fresh. Nice touch with lemon water available in the lobby for all arrivals.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here, although it was only one night. There’s some slight traffic noise from the bridge nearby, but it isn’t too noticeable. The room was clean and well appointed. Restaurant and Bar were quite nice and breakfast was simple but delicious. Hats off to the manager who handled a WIFI problem for me, the bartender and the young lady handling breakfast. You are all doing a great job.

Overall the hotel is okay. The lobby is nice but the rest of the hotel needs upgrades and new carpeting. We stayed one night on the 2nd floor but the carpet smelled terrible and the view obstructed to see the Mantee River. The pillows were a bit too fluffy! They moved us to the 5th floor with good views the rest of our stay. Thank you! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My husband loved that he could get his favorite coffee Americano each morning. The breakfast flatbread was amazing & big and after 5pm food offered was also very good like wings, flatbread pizza and burgers. I loved walking in the morning along the Riverwalk front. I would stay again.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Clean comfortable room. The best Burger I have had in awhile at the in house Bistro. Location is wonderful. Beautiful view of the river, got to see a dolphin feeding . This will be go to place when I visit Bradenton

Great experience!!! Rooms were very clean, breakfast was sooo good, close to the beach, the pool area was clean and the staff was amazing!! The girl at check in (forgot her name) was very sweet, professional and helpful. Definitly would stay again very soon!!

I enjoyed my stay very much. I was particularly impressed by the option to self check in up to 24 hours early by email however I don't know how much time it really saved. LOL! The General Manager working the front desk at check in was very polite even after dealing with the guest before me that was on his cellular phone the entire time. That annoyed me and I could barely contain my feelings. She was patient and professional. Once I received my keys, I disinfected the space to my comfort level. I did notice that the comforter had a little makeup on it. A spot cleaning handled that. The couch had food crumbs and lots of hair on it, nothing a good vacuuming couldn't handle so we opted not to use it for the one night. The bathroom was clean as was the full kitchen and refrigerator. The bed was so comfortable. I slept like a baby. My partner made use of the TV. He was quiet so I'm assuming it was just fine. I enjoyed the continental breakfast offering as well. It was a treat to have a hotel ACTUALLY serving breakfast for a change. My only suggestion would be softer towels. The bath towels were pretty rough other than that I enjoyed my brief stay and will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at the Towns Place by Marriot/Sarasota. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The full kitchen helped in planning meals and providing opportunities to eat in the room. The location was great for going to Orioles games and Siesta Key Beaches and trips to Anna Marie Island. The only things that needed improvement was the breakfast which was just average and the lack of pool towels. We felt safe and would highly recommend this hotel. The Walmart across the street was convenient in buying food and personal items.

Property was clean and quiet. The manager Chris was very friendly, helpful and service oriented during our stay. The free hot breakfast was excellent too.

Convenient location. Nice to have refrigerator, stove, microwave, but minimal dishes, utensils,cooking equipment, etc. We had reserved a room with a king size bed, but the bed was only a queen. When we brought this to the attention of the person on duty at check-in she insisted it was a king size bed. It was not!!!! Also unclear about housekeeping services. I had to ask for clean towels and to have trash emptied one time. We had no other housekeeping even on the days we did not have a privacy sign up. No info about this in the room and no info about the area, attractions, restaurants, etc. The hotel breakfast was generally good except for the juice which was watered down. The best feature was the convenient location.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and just what we needed for the brief time we stayed. A lot of restaurants within walking distance was a big plus. Being pet friendly was also a plus for us. A shower was very nice, easy walk-in and very hot water. The property has a very nice pool unfortunately it was a little bit too cool to get in.

The pillows and bed were really comfy, Also had a nice couch and shower. Everything was exceptionally clean too. Close to lots of places to eat, the beach and had stations. Very convenient and also very affordable. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Price was excellent, we were looking for a clean, good price to stay to show our 88 y/o mom a good time at the beach. Good shopping around, 20 minutes from the beach. Only 1 drawback.......beds are really small. Needs to be updated at least to a queen. The only reason we needed a room was to sleep. Sleeping was not what we got. Hard bed and very small. But we had a place to hang our clothes and take a shower. Good cup of coffee though.

Room was clean, beds made, convenient location, lower cost, nice tiled shower. Nice outdoor pool area. Had outdoor grills to use. Pet friendly. Good for single guy staying a few days.

Great place to rent more light in the parking area and quiet place to rest room where clean and spacious only dislike is that they charge a 100 dollar deposit to stay.but great place just make sure you can cover it but will be returned back to you ,.

My room was clean didn’t have any problems with it being dirty or gross. The guy behind the counter was very helpful. It was better than expected after reading the reviews I was a little worried. But it turned out to be good. All I needed was a place to sleep. They sell drinks and snacks in the office, which made it very convenient because I do know that the neighborhood Is not a good area. But I did not have any problems at all. I thought it was going to be very noisy and people everywhere, but it was not. They do not allow people to be wandering around the property all in all I give it a thumbs up.

It's a motel, staff doesn't play, and as long as you work with them they are amazing at taking care of things when it's most important
