Location is perfect. In the very hearth of the city. Very clean, check in/out is quite easy and fast. No noise, no traffic jam Room has enough space Host is quite helpful and quick to response for check-in. Breakfast is good.

Great location. Comfortable room within a nicely renovated apartment. Still quiet and peaceful despite being in the middle of it all.

We had a fantastic stay at Relais del Porto, we arrived late in the evening and Andrea our host arranged a transfer from the airport, met us in the city and escorted us to the hotel, carrying our heavy bags and getting us some water which was much appreciated after a long day travelling. The hospitality was 5 star and we felt really welcome. The hotel was really good - particularly for the price. Don’t be put off by the hallway, inside is a beautiful apartment full of history and charm. And we had a fantastic night’s sleep - very comfortable bed and linen and a quiet spot considering the central location. We will be back! Thank you Andrea

The staff were warm and friendly, and helped us with any queries we had. The room itself was sweet and was equipped with AC which was perfect as it was quite hot when we visited. Both the room and the en suite were always kept clean for us. In terms of location, we were only a short walk from the station and the bus depot, and there were plenty of eateries and shops in the vicinity.

In the middle of the Marine center of Cagliari. Everything is easy to access by foot. Jacuzzi in the room was definitely a huge hit. 2 shower heads in one shower was a great asset. 15 minutes walk to free parking spot.

This small hotel has an eclectic boho vibe in an excellent location, the room was large and the bed super comfortable, very clean. Toiletries provided were of great quality and smelt amazing. Breakfast provided beats many 5 star hotels. Having worked in the tourist & hospitality for over 30 years, this hotel has got it right, putting the guest first. Alessandro is exceptional, a true gentleman.

It was very clean and beautifully decorated. Everyone was very friendly if needed you could contact them anytime, which was halpful. The location is very central - near the marina, 2 min to the bus stop, shops, bars and restaurants all around.

Located in the best spot . Staff were extremely friendly . The room was gorgeous and really comfortable and super clean .

The hotel has a very original and beautifully designed lobby, and the room is tastefully decorated with all the necessary amenities. The staff are exceptionally friendly and always ready to help with anything. The location is simply perfect.

I had a beautiful, peaceful, perfect stay at Hotel Villa Fanny. Loved my room, luxurious jacuzzi bath, comfy bed, cookies and tea :) The breakfast buffet had everything I wanted, I did not have time to enjoy the lovely looking garden but I enjoyed a delicious dinner at the very nearby Sa’Ide e S’ollia. I walked easily to and along the main shopping streets nearby of Corso Vittorio Emmanuelle II. I look forward to staying here again!

Everything. This is a fantastic hotel. It is a city hotel, so there is no pool, but it has a lovely little jacuzzi in the garden where you can cool off. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I am very fussy with hotels, and especially decor, I thought the decor was so tasteful. Everything is very understated. It is quiet as it has only 30 so rooms. Quiet sophistication. Perfect.

The hotel interior and grounds are lovely. Our room was comfortable, very clean and quiet. The hotel staff are exceptional - very friendly, attentive, always cheerful and helpful. Loved the breakfasts - a huge choice, fresh and inviting - and the breakfast room has a beautiful aspect. The location couldn't be better - a quiet and attractive area yet so convenient to walk into the centre or to reach many great restaurants.

Lovely quiet boutique-style hotel that had amazing service. The staff were friendly, attentive , helpful and treated us superbly throughout our stay. I have stayed in numerous hotels throughout the world - this was by far the best in terms of how helpful and friendly they were. Made us feel very welcome. A special thanks to Marco for being so accommodating to our room requests and organising welcome drinks and snacks. The location itself is about ten/fifteen minutes away from the main restaurants and shops. You have to walk about half an hour to see the main sites - wear trainers / comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking and doing this in 30 degrees heat can be difficult if you’re not used to the weather.

Loved our stay at Villa Fanny. The room was spacious and clean and a very comfortable bed. The garden space and bar were delightful!! Aperitvo and I used the garden for a workout during my stay. A lush place to relax. The buffet breakfast was next level!! Absolutely delicious. While no parking at property it was east to get street parking. Staff were very helpful booking tours and recommending great restaurants and helping us to make a reservation. We only had 2 nights and wish it was longer.

The breakfast is to be booked by a link and delivered to the suite since the is no restaurant.

We stayed in a sea view suite and it was absolutely divine! The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and a beautiful view out to the ocean. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was delivered to our room each morning. Amazing croissants!

Very nice place to stay in the center of Cagliari. Nero Suites are in fact a whole floor in the building, the 4th. It has a reception during daytime. The apartments are luxury and comfy. Very clean space. Good quality breakfast with excellent coffee. The area is safe. Would go back there.

My three-year year old sun loved the jacuzzi and had so much fun! The staff were incredibly nice, and the breakfast served in our room was delicious.

The man on the reception was really nice and very available to recommend us places and restaurants in the city. The jacuzzi is great and it really lets us relax after a day visiting. The breakfast was very complete and it was all good.

We had such a wonderful stay. The lovely host gave us lots of advice on what to see and do and is genuinely excited about foreigners getting to know his city. We got amazing breakfast brought to the room each morning, with freshly baked pancakes, cake, cappuccino, fresh fruit, etc. We had the 3 people suite, a very clean and bright room with a luxury bathroom with a big bathtub/jacuzzi and big shower with great water pressure. The location is very convenient, central but quiet. Can only recommend this place!

Gabriella was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast delivered to your bedroom door in the morning felt like a heavenly treat. The jacuzzi bath was also a real luxury. You are in walking distance of everything in the city. We felt relaxed and extremely pampered at Bluemoon.

We stayed in the suite which was absolutely perfect, comfortable bed, couch and super clean. We were delighted to get use of the jacuzzi after all the steps and hills of Cagliari! Roberta had all the details for us so checking is was simple and straightforward. The views from the terrace were spectacular and a perfect place for a nice glass of Sardinian wine was the sun goes down. The Catestello area is a historical quiet beautiful place to stay. Would highly recommend.

The location was great, however make sure you get advice on the lifts around the old city. We had no idea and discovered the lifts later walking up the hill all the time. We stayed in room number 1. The room was very cosy and omg the bed was so comfortable!! Good selection of teas and coffee in the room. Lovely sitting area on the roof. The self check-in was very well explained by Roberta. She was very helpful in anything we needed. It made us feel very well looked after. Many people have complained in their reviews about breakfast, that it is just a croissant and a coffee. The cafes don't have just croissants to choose from and it was actually nice having breakfast in a local cafeteria. Pablo cafe has amazing terrace with great views!

My husband and I stayed here with 6 friends, there are only 4 rooms and 1 suite so we pretty much had the accommodations to ourselves. We were impressed with the rooms, the breakfast is basic but enough. The rooms were cleaned each day and the bed made up daily. The accommodation was comfortable and a bit quirky. Room 4 is the biggest, Room 3 has extra storage, Room 2 was the smallest, Room 1 medium sized. What makes this accommodation special is the roof terrace. As 8 friends we would meet up here in the morning, in the afternoon for a few drinks and in the evening for pre and post meal drinks. The views are amazing as this accommodation is right at the top of the hill. There are a couple of the tourist lifts within a few minutes walk so you don't need to climb the steps or walk up the sloping roads too far. There are also buses that can get you within 5 minutes walk of the property. Roberta was amazing and was quick to respond to any issues we had (very minor, that were quickly remedied). She also arranged a minibus transfer for us. There are a few restaurants in the area, but a 10 minute walk gets you to more. The roads are very narrow in the Castello area, only cars sporadically using the roads, so the area is very quiet. Having walked around Cagliari for 4 days I can say that this location is probably the best one to stay in. We were all very impressed with Residenza Kastrum and would not hesitate to stay here again if we ever return to Cagliari

The rooms were comfortable and the little rooftop terrace has amazing views. No facilities for breakfast but you get a token to eat at a very nice cafe down the hill. Great location in the old town opposite the stunning cathedral. Quiet. Clean. Roberta on WhatsApp very helpful when we couldn't get in and she ordered us a taxi.

Breakfast was a short walk away in Le Palmette beach restaurant. The quality of the food is fantastic, especially the pancakes, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Such a lovely place to have a relaxing breakfast right on the beach and a perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended for an evening meal there as well. The room we had was spacious, very comfortable and stylish. The balcony ran the full width of the room and had a reasonable view of the sea. Located in a quiet street means that you can retreat to your room or balcony and relax in peace and quiet, not that the area is noisy. The staff were very helpful and very approachable but the reception office is not open all day. Our departure was a few hours after the checkout time so they securely stored our luggage and gave us a pass code to access it when we needed to, giving us the chance to spend a few more hours at the beach.

Lovely modern room and balcony with sea view. Very clean and the staff were so welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. Viktorija the manager was amazing. The accommodation is also linked to the beachfront restaurant where guests can have breakfast, which was delicious and a lovely setting.

All the staff were super helpful, friendly and attentive. Really clean, comfortable and modern suite in an amazing location, only a few minutes walk away from Poetto Beach. It's also easy to get into town by bus. Overall a fabulous stay, thank you!

1. The room is stunningly beautiful. The shower will forever remain in my heart. Thank you for the design 2. The hotel and the beach are clean. The hallway in the hotel had a very pleasant aroma. 3. The mattress is ideal for a person weighing 50-70 kg. An orthopedic and regular pillow for each guest. I slept well 4. The staff is friendly 5. The beach is very beautiful, sandy, the bottom and water are perfect, but there are a lot of people. If you walk towards the port and get behind the fence, you can swim in a rockier place but without people. 6. The main thing! You can rent boats, subboards and masks nearby. I liked swimming in the sea the most. 7. Buy a travel card and get to the city center by bus in 30 minutes. The stop is next to the hotel. Restaurants in the center are much cheaper and just as delicious.

The location is absolutely perfect, right by the beach yet only a 10 min bus into town from right outside. Breakfast was amazing, a nice choice with a great view of the sea. All in all, a perfect place for a week's holiday, I would highly recommend! Viktorija was incredibly kind and helpful, an asset to the suites!

Casa Dell’Artista is amazing, everything was prepared nicely by the lovely host Chiara (and I really mean everything from the welcome dinner to all the food in the fridge to everyday breakfast to biscuits+chocolates+candy to beer+wine to beach umbrellas slippers food bag beach hat sunscreen washing machine fans air conditioning microwave oven cooking utensils coffee machine smart TV jacuzzi pool!!! 🤩). We didn’t have to bring anything as everything was already there, we have to collect our breakfast from Pasticceria Manuel though ☺️ It’s unimaginable how Chiara could be so thoughtful to her guests. Location wise, it is walking distance to many tourist spots of Cagliari old town, otherwise bus stop is just 2min walk away. This homestay is a really memorable!

Warm welcoming with delecious treats in the middle of the night. Well equipped (towels for beach, cosmetics, dishes) spacious house. Great location, close to San Bernardetto market and historic center. Tasty, fresh breakfest from bakery nearby. Delecious coffe and a lot of snacks and cookies avaiable. Chiara was super helpful, gave us a lot of tips and we had excellent communication before and during our stay.

The welcome we received from Chiara was wonderful. She greeted us warmly despite the fact we arrived late due to a flight delay. Chiara showed us around the whole home so that knew where everything was and how to use everything. There were so many warm and welcoming touches that we really appreciated. We really enjoyed waking up, getting the coffee maker (that Chiara kindly showed us how to use) ready and walking a few metres to the bakery to collect pastries for breakfast that was included in our stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the lounge area was lovely to relax in in the evenings. We could not believe how generous she had been with the supplies provided in the bathrooms, bedroom, fridge and the welcome food and drinks. She truly makes sure her guests are comfortable and feel welcome!

The property is very clean and exactly as it is in pictures. The host is amazing, great communication and they provide any help you might need. There is everything you might need in the house, even some food in the fridge. Traditional Italian breakfast is available (croissants/donuts) from the bakery nearby. Beach umbrella and beach towels are also available. The property is near the historic city center and there is also a bus station nearby so you can move further from the city to the beaches. The transport to the airport is quick and easy, you can go to the train station by bus and then take the train directly to the airport. All in all, it was a great stay and we will definitely book this place again!

The apartment is at a top location in Cagliari, close to the center, and to the railway station, which in turn is 5 minutes trip to the airport. It has plenty of space, the bed was ok. We did not try the jacuzzi, but the shower in the room was kinda fun. Overall a nice stay.

Very friendly and helpful owners. Great location on couple minutes walking distance from the train station, harbor, and shopping area. Many many restaurants nearby. Very spacious apartment with air conditioning which worked perfectly. The apartment was very clean and everything you need is there.

The apartment design. It is like a spa. Very close to the railway station making transit to and from the airport very easy. Oates within walking distance of the Marina, Old Town, the beautiful Villanova district, Central Market and Botanical Gardens. Also numerous and wide variety of bars, restaurants, and shops. And to Easycletta Bike Hire for those inclined to cycle to Pietta Beach.

The location is very central. The apartment is equipped with a fully functional kitchen and all the amenities needed. The roof garden has nice view and a barbecue as well. The bathroom is fully equipped with body wash liquid.

Property in central Cagliari, very easy access and all facilities around. Federico was very helpful and I will definitely come back!

Good location and the area is a very quiet place, also the room was located on a quiet floor, with no noise around in the middle of the night. The bed was really comfortable and had a very restful sleep. Easy to access as well, received codes by text and instructions to check in!

It has a parking right in front of the building and city bus line M around the corner if one doesn’t have a car. It’s clean and comfortable. My son forgot a phone and the stuywas very helpful.

Nice place, perfect bed, very clean room and bathroom. Kind host. Comfortable room.

The room was big and comfortable. The AC works. The room was cleaned everyday but they did not vacuum the floor. The location is amazing, really close to Cagliari Centre. There is no reception but the communication with the host was easy. I really recommend this accommodation in Cagliari.

If you want to get new experience and emotions, comfort and care, stay at La Casa di Adele instead of a hotel. Quiet area, no language barrier with the owners, comfort, care and love for customers. Virginia and Vincenzo (the owners) solve all issues, help with excursions, take care and feed. Everywhere is perfect cleanliness, authentic rooms, delicious breakfast. Convenient location: 30m bus stop to the center, 2 hypermarkets 5 minutes walk away, a buffet restaurant. For those who stay for work, a quiet and peaceful night's rest (without the noise of neighbors). Easy to get to the airport, railway, bus station. The next trip to Sardinia is only in La Casa di Adele. 10 out of 10

Secure entry to the building. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well equipped. The breakfast was self service with access to the caffe machine, microwave, kettle and egg cooker. Juice, milk, fruit, bread for toast and a selection of other breakfast items were available. Bottled water was provided in the room. A safe was available in the room. Virginia the host is very friendly and speaks very good English. She was very helpful in assisting us with things to do while in the city, including how to navigate the bus routes. You can walk to restaurants and shopping. We parked on the street across from the property.

The property was excellent. The owner Virginia is a lovely person, very helpful and kind. The communication was easy and pleasant. Room La Sella was clean, spacious and comfortable, with a terrace overlooking the main street. There is a bus stop near the apartment, and free parking in the street. Very good breakfast was included. We got everything we needed and will come back, absolutely!

The host, Virginia, is super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and nice with stylish final touches. Many convenient things available in the apartment: sun umbrellas, thermal bag for the beach, external drying rack, iron etc. The breakfasts were very good. The apartment is close to the bus station with decent connection to the old town. Private parking place at reasonable price. We decided to take it as we had a new car but there were many free slots on the streets around so it's not a must.

Okay, keep a few things in mind: you're a 10-minute walk from the center, and the train station is 7 minutes away. Everything is relatively close. It's a small apartment with a washing machine, a mini kitchen, and a jacuzzi. The bed is very comfortable. However, I had trouble with the air conditioning for the three days I stayed. They managed to fix it on the last day, but even then, it barely worked. Luckily, it was mid-September, and at night it was 19°C, so I could just open the window. But if you're going in the middle of summer, hopefully, they've done maintenance on the air conditioning. Aside from that, excellent for the price and location.

Clean room, center location close to the bar street Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, and the restaurants street. The hot tub was a nice addition to relax after a long day of walking or at the beach. The complimentary coffee and water, and daily room service were a nice plus

This was a positive suprise in every way. The room was very big and there was a sofa and the bed was very comfortable. The air condition was working perfectly and was pleasant. The flat is located on the 1st floor and it is my favourite location in Cagliari, as it is the most beautiful piazza of the city and it is the hot spot of great bars and restaurants. The only thing is, that it is quite load because of that. But with Oropax we didn't have any porblem anymore and slept like babies. But the very best thing was the Annalisa, who 1st always responded and made the check-in very easy, nd 2nd helped me so much when I forgot something really important at the flat. She sent it to switzerland for me in no time and made sure it got there without harm. Thanks a lot for that! It is so important to be able to count on your host when on vacation. We will definitely come again.

I got only positive stuff to tell: - Best location in the city, everything is just within 2-5mins walking distance - Host is really nice and fulfills every wish, we already could check in at 11.30am instead of 2 pm after asking - Rooms are super clean and cleaning staff is also very nice - we got the bigger suite at no additional cost, just cause it was free - best breakfast restaurant just next door Thank you so much for this wonderful stay!

Location was absolutely perfect! Located within the main strip of restaurants, bars, shops. Location was great and easy to find. You're in the city centre and everything is walking distance. A/C was important to us and they had it in the bedroom and living room. The bed was super uncomfortable and would sink during the night which would be our only complaint. I think if the mattress was changed it would be 5 stars. We had a problem with the shower head, but they replaced it the day after and it was a great improvement not only for us but everyone booking after. Communication over whatsapp was 100%. We saw reviews about the smell from the balcony, but the apartment is located where all the restaurants are so it was an oversight. Overall the place was clean and perfect for a quick trip to sardinia :)

She had a wealth of knowledge and recommendations for activities, restaurants, and bars that made my trip even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was beautifully designed and had everything I needed for a luxurious stay. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to all the best spots in the city. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Cagliari. And if that wasn't enough, the host can even arrange for a driver to pick you up from the airport or take you to any activity of your choice. Trust me, you won't regret booking this place.

We loved everything about this accommodation. Location was very good, very close to anything you could possibly want. The apartment was cleaned daily to a very high standard. We had a jacuzzi in the room too. The apartment was renovated to a modern up to date standard. Big bed, sofa a small coffee table with a kettle to make coffee/tea, small fridge in the room. Overall very good accommodation.

Very nice and new apartaments in the centre of Cagliari city with a lot of bars and restaurants and shops. Very clean, comfortable, with Italian breakfast (coffee and croissant) at the coffee bar just in front of apartaments. Online check in, no keys, just open the doors wih the code. Apartaments are at the 4 floor, so you can take an elevator or use stairs

The location is amazing - right next to a busy piazza and street, but the room was very quiet. The room is modern, minimal, with a huge and comfy bed. You have a shared comforter, but it is so big, that it feels like you have a separate one. The bathroom is larger, clean and very contemporary. It is pretty. There is cleaning every day, the room altogether is kept very clean. The view from the balcony was also very pretty.

Sergio was a great host and very responsive and friendly during our communication exchange. We checked in very late at night and Sergio provided all the instructions for us to unlock the apartment and made himself available via What’s app. We only stayed one night but we found the suite very comfortable to accommodate us with our child and baby. Travel cot was provided too and there was water bottles and coffee available. Although located in the city center with easy parking, we found the suite to be quiet. The free Italian breakfast served in a nearby cafe was fresh and lovely.

Lovely view, quality furnishings, the best, most comfortable bed. Quiet, clean and short walking distance to train and bus station and town centre. Helpful owner and easy check in. Train from and to the airport only 1.5 Euro each way.

Large clean room and a very spacious bathroom. A very good restaurant (El Faro) is only about an 8 minute walk away. Very quiet area.

I was travelling by myself and felt welcomed as soon as I entered the door. She was such a friendly person and made sure, that my stay was pleasant. I had a really nice doubleroom to myself, it was clean and I even got handed toilettries and a water per day. There is a supermercato near the property as well as a busstation. You can reach the Beach in a few minutes by bus, which came in handy for me.

The bed was very confortable, the A/C at this time of the year, the big bathroom, the possibility to borrow an umbrella to go to the beach, the breakfast included even if it could easily be better with fresh products.

Mariangela was super nice. She also washed our dirty beach towels and clothes for just 2 euro. She serves amazing breakfast and she's very thoughtful.

Plenty of free car parking on street -depending on arrival time. Apartments very clean and breakfast plentiful.

Great location, close to train station, historical center and bus stops to Poetto beach. Rooms are air conditioned, extremely clean and comfortable. And there's nothing better than to relax in the bath tub after long day of sightseeing :D And ofcourse - wonderful hosts! We were able to store our luggage few hours before check-in, however when we arrived around 10 am to leave our bags it turned out that our room is already waiting for us! In addition - we received all instructions and helpful information about the city before our arrival.

Very close to the train station,buses and city centre.Spacious room,has everything you need. The hosts are very welcoming and will do anything to please their customer such as finding information about train time,where to catch couches for a day trip,best restaurants,etc. Plenty of choice for breakfast.

Great location. Walking distance to the train & bus stations and the port. Comfortable bed and facilities- bathroom clean. Coffee tea facilities available.

Appreciated the fact that you don’t need to cross the reception every time you’re out. The facility works with a password so it’s really nice: you still can access at any moment but its secure. The location is in the center of the city. They also propose a breakfast, which is really nice : u can choose it sweet or salted, and a coffee. For me it was more than enough. When I asked housekeepers to change sheets and towels, they did it the same day, they did the cleaning every time I needed, to fill toilet paper etc. Actually, I work in a hotel in Paris so I know all problems that the hotel can have but in this case for me it was really a good stay, a helpful staff, clean environment, good breakfast. Guys, keep it up, I recommend you 100% <3

The room was in a great location, near restaurants and bars, only 10 minutes from the station. Staff was quick in responding and check in process online very easy. The room was clean and had all necessities, including coffee machine

The location is great. I had a Seaview room on the 6th floor. Very nice view of the harbour and seeing alot of planes come in and out from Cagliari. It's very noisy with the windows open but it's part of it. Alot of restaurants near by. Very easy walk and close to St. Remy, the old town area and the shopping street. A pizza place, a small cafe and a very good Gelateria Peter Pan below the hotel. A trendy pizza / burger restaurant NEXT just above the staircase near the hotel. The staffs are very helpful, happy and patience. Room are very spacious and the communication before my arrival was good and on time. The breakfast is very simple but good simple setting. The staffs there are very good. They provide beach towels and umbrella. A easy taxi ride about 10 to 15 mins to the city beach Poetto with alot of good restaurants with sunbeds for rent. But you can also find a part of the beach to just put a towel on the sand. It's a long beach around 7km. White sand and clear water.

Hotel Aristeo is the best hotel we have stayed in. The staff is very friendly, very modern hotel, fantastic rooms, modern, spacious, great bathroom. Everything is clean and beautiful. The breakfast is the best we have ever had on a holiday. Great selection, fresh, fantastic coffee, wonderful atmosphere, ambiance, view of the harbor. In a word, a hotel we would always love to return to, they deserve 12/10. Beautiful experience and stay.

Location in Central Cagliari was perfect for exploring! Right along the harbor with easy access to restaurants, shops, public parking, and roads out of town. The hotel staff was so helpful and had great recommendations for food, things to see/do, and parking. The breakfast was delicious and everything was fresh! Room was spacious and clean.

We liked it so much that we even extended our stay for another night! This hotel truly deserves at least 4 stars, and we’d rate our room a full 5*. The bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in, the bathroom was huge, and the room design – absolutely stunning! The location is perfect, close to everything. We arrived late in the evening, and the lovely lady at the reception kindly called a local seafood restaurant and managed to get us a table – incredibly friendly and helpful! Breakfast was excellent, with high-quality products and great coffee! The staff were attentive and kind. We were truly impressed and would highly recommend this wonderful place!

The location is great, very close to the center and to the sea as well. The rooms although small but well-maintained, the staff are very friendly and try to help as they can. Don’t expect a huge hearty breakfast, we are in Italy and here you can expect typical italian breakfast, which was also very good : fresh homemade cakes and local sweets, yoghurt, cereals, fruits, breads, cheeses and cold cuts. All very local and fresh. The coffee was good too!overall it is a good value for money hotel and i would totally recommend

A great hotel. Rooms were large, very comfortable and the air conditioning quiet and effective. We had rooms overlooking the square but we weren’t bothered by any noise. We really enjoyed the variety of breakfast food available and the excellent coffee. The location was perfect, not far from the Bastion Saint Remy. Naomi and Giovanni were excellent, knowledgeable and very helpful in their suggestions, as were all the reception staff. We took a private transfer to Poetto beach and a recommended beach club, Sam’s Beach, which was a very pleasant way to spend the day. Also, if you enjoy history, the Roman excavations at the Museo del Tesoro e Area Archeologica di Sant’Eulalia were very interesting. All the staff at the hotel and the bar were friendly, professional and made for a fantastic holiday. Excellent restaurants in the square and within walking distance.

For the past 5 years we have been coming to Cagliari every year and this was our first time in Palazzo Doglio. We have decided that this will be the only hotel we will be staying at from now on. Whole hotel is decorated very tastefully and the atmosphere is very nice. The rooms are spacious, very clean and have a great ambiance. Beds are exceptionally comfortable and bathrooms could not be more perfect. We had a bathtub, shower, bidet and two sinks. We appreciated linen slippers (that were changed after a few days) and great quality of towels, bathrobes, etc. All the skin and hair products are simply amazing. We also appreciated that they brought us personalized Palazzo Doglio water many times during the day. The staff is very attentive, helpful and extremely nice. The hotel is a 5 min walk to one of the main walking streets in the city center but the location is perfect. Because of the lively atmosphere in the courtyard you kind of get a feeling that the hotel has a city center of its own. Having breakfast outside in this courtyard felt very nice. It is definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed at and cannot wait to return next year.

Whilst there were many positives about this hotel, there are also areas that require improvement. Let’s start with the positives. 1. The lobby, bar & restaurant are aesthetically pleasing and create a warm, cosy feeling about the place. 2. The courtyard with its immense options of restaurants and shops is a definite bonus and there is always a buzz about the place - especially in the evenings. The pizza restaurant is by far the best of the food options available. 3. The staff are polite, friendly and very helpful. 4. The location of the hotel was also quite good, with most attractions a walking distance. Now the cons 1. The service at breakfast & food available. I was shocked at the quality of food: it was one of the worst breakfasts I’ve ever had at a hotel. The hot option was minimal with only eggs, bacon & mushrooms. There were only 2 cuts of charcuterie meats & the cheese on display was sweaty. Once the bread in the tray had finished, there was no replenishment. As for the continental, it was all pastries & cakes. There was a good range of fruit but not fresh, some of the strawberries were off. Overall, the service was poor with the restaurant staff confusing customer’s coffee orders. 2. The cleanliness of the rooms. There was a lot of dust & although the tiled floors were hoovered, they weren’t mopped so our socks were dirty. Although when this was pointed out, the staff were quick to respond and address it. It was an ok hotel but personally, I wouldn’t return

From the moment you arrive, you are welcomed with genuine warmth and professionalism that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff are truly exceptional—always attentive, kind, and ready to go the extra mile to ensure every detail of your stay is perfect. The entire property radiates elegance and sophistication, yet it still feels inviting and comfortable. Every corner of the hotel is beautifully maintained, from the stylish lobby to the luxurious rooms, which combine modern comfort with refined design. The dining experience is another highlight. The restaurants and bars within the hotel offer a wonderful variety, each with its own unique atmosphere. Whether enjoying a fine dinner or a relaxed drink, the quality and service are consistently outstanding. What I appreciate most is the sense of consistency—the hotel not only met my expectations during my first visit, but managed to impress me even more the second time. It’s rare to find a place that blends such elegance, hospitality, and attention to detail so seamlessly. I plan to return every year, and I truly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. It is a gem that guarantees unforgettable stays time and time again.

On arrival the hotel looks fabulous, elegant and luxurious. The reception staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. Our room wasn’t ready (we did arrive early) so offered us to sit and have a drink and would call us when ready. The ‘classic’ room was lovely, spotlessly clean with good quality furnishings and a huge comfortable bed. My only feedback is that there are not enough power outlets, and the room could maybe do with a table lamp for better ambience. The only option is a small reading light beside the bed, or bright overhead lights which are not very relaxing. The bathroom again was spotless with good quality amenities and plenty of towels. The only other gripe is that some hooks or a towel rail other than the heated towel rail would be better - as you would have to be a giant to put these over when damp to dry out. Also if wearing robes to the spa (which we did ) we had to leave these on the floor to be changed as they were damp (if they had been allowed to air out by being hung up we could have reused - same for our towels). Breakfast was great, lots of choice (a big thumbs up for the Greek yoghurt - one of the best I’ve had) but the service was sometimes painfully slow and you were sometimes overlooked when trying to order coffee. Saying that though the staff were friendly enough. A big shout out to the Concierge, who gave us some great tips on where to visit on our short trip to this lovely city.

The hotel is perfectly located in the old city area which is at the top of the city but you can reach it easily just a short walk from the street lift. No traffic so it's very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful, guided for check in, where to park and taxi booking. We used the free parking on Viale Boncamino that's 5 min walk. The breakfast room and terrace is cosy and the food options are great. The room is large, king size bed very comfy with two pillows each and of different thickness, mini fridge, bathroom and shower separated, large windows, Aircon and big TV with casting so we could watch Amazon prime/ Disney from our account. Room service was impeccable, everyday the bed was made to a high standard.

The spacious room, an elegant combination between modern and classic. One look at the balcony and you feel like a resident of this city. The breakfast was delicious. Wonderful, well-designed room with a very comfortable bed, with a luxurious feel to the whole place. Lighting, shelf-space, bathroom, tea and coffee facilities are all first-class. Breakfast is a beautiful spread of both hot and cold varieties, in a delightful dining area. Staff are very friendly, speak very good English and are very happy to help. Communication by Whatsapp was prompt and efficient. The hotel is located in the old, historic part of town and is about fifteen minutes on foot from the main restaurant/shopping area, and it is a steep walk up. We loved the atmosphere of the old town, and we are fast walkers, but this may deter others wishing to be closer to the action. The public lift down to the piazza helped too.

It is not such a big hotel that it actually feels cozy and I enjoyed staying there. The copious breakfast buffet options varied daily and were fresh and delicious. I also dined in their restaurant for dinner and the service and food were excellent.

We stayed at this hotel for few nights in early May. The location is very good, about 10-15 min walk from train station (some of it uphill). It is an older building, but well equipped and kept clean. The neighbourhood is quiet for a good night sleep. Breakfast buffet has almost everything you can dream of. You can even order a real cappuccino from espresso machine. We walked to all the attractions in the city. There are also few busses to further places departing from Piazza Matteotti just few minutes walk away. Tickets need to be bought from Tabac store before boarding. There are numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance to have dinner or a drink. Cagliari is a surprisingly hilly city. There are some elevators to certain areas, but not very easy to find. Overall we are very happy with a choice to stay there.

The hotel is well located (you can reach the Bastion Saint Remy in five minutes and also the Marina district in the same time). The staff is excellent: welcoming, helpful, effective. Breakfast was very good (lots of choices for every taste) with coffee drinks made to order (something we really appreciate since the machines found in many hotels are subpar). We booked a superior room with sea view. It had a walk in rainforest shower and was spacious and comfortable (other room categories might be smaller). We would definitely stay at the Regina Margherita again when back in Cagliari.

He really helped take the stress away with his detailed communication and contact information of the taxi driver as well as an alternative. The hotel restaurant is also a gem for dinner or pizza! Stayed at this hotel for four days after having stayed downtown a few days. It is directly on the bus line and mere steps away from Poetto beach. The hotel itself is modern, very clean, and the staff is pleasant, helpful, and always happy to make recommendations or just to chat. The morning coffee is delicious and rooms are contemporary, spacious and cleaned daily. Cannot recommend staying here enough. The grounds are well kept and the hotel is situated in a nice neighbourhood, with a couple of restaurants waiting walking distance and a grocery store. Would definitely stay here again when returning to Cagliari. Very happy with my experience here!

I loved everything about this hotel. The breakfast was wholesome and beautifully presented and the coffee was the best. But best of all were the staff. I had most to do with Sophia and Jessica when I was there and they went above and beyond in friendliness, kindness and service. So did the breakfast ladies. I loved sitting in the beautiful garden each morning with my coffee. For the traveller Hôtel Villa Sveva is located in a safe and laid back area 100 metres from beach, 15 mins by regular bus to the bustle of Cagliari and a few bus stops and short walk to the park where you can hire a bicycle to explore the salt marshes and see the pink flamingoes. There is a great supermarket a block away and many pizza style restaurants nearby. My stay at Hotel Villa Sveva was an unexpected delight and treasure in Sardinia.

We were for 7 days in this place and it was amazing! Great staff, girls are always ready to help and answer all the questions. Very close to the sea, 3 minutes from paid beach club(28-35€) and 5-6 min from free beach area. Breakfasts were tasty, big variety of food, sweet, salt, you can choose whatever you want, tasty Italian coffee, juices, many sweets, fruits, I don’t understand the reviews where people complained about breakfast. Beautiful territory, each evening we sat outside. This hotel is 1 min from bus stop and in 20 min you are in the city center, which is very beautiful. I hope in the future I will return to this place!

This very friendly hotel is in a great central location for walking round the marina and the old city. There are a plethora of restaurants on the doorstep including their very own hotel restaurant which I understand is very good (although we didn't eat there). The airport is only about 10 mins away by taxi and the central station is only a 5 min walk. The hotel is on a pedestrianised street so be aware that you may have to walk a couple of mins to the junction with your luggage. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean with tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel in general was stunning with lots of art on display. But our room specifically was incredible with high beamed ceilings, a lovely small balcony and an unbelievably spacious bathroom with the best shower I have ever seen! The best thing about the property however was the staff, every single member of staff were friendly, helpful and in particular the gentleman that was in the restaurant that made our cappuccinos daily but also went above and beyond to make sure I had a big breakfast every day with fresh croissants, eggs and most importantly catered for my partner who is coeliac…I couldn’t have higher praise for the staff members and the hotel itself, thank you!

Hotel Flora is located 3 min walk from train/bus station, near plenty of restaurants. We walked all famous sightseeing spots in Cagliari from hotel, even to San Benedetto market. Room has a good space, 102 had a nice balcony with nice table and comfy chairs where you can enjoy nice evening. Very solid building, so no noise from other guests. The best of all is the service. Cleaner, front, waiters at the restaurant, They are friendly, helpful, and professional. Great choice of breakfast. What else you can ask the hotel!? We will stay here again if we ever has a chance to go back to Cagliari.

We loved everything about the Hotel Flora! From the moment we stepped inside and were greeted so kindly by Francesca, to everything she and the rest of the staff did to make our stay comfortable, we had an absolutely fabulous stay at the hotel. The double bed was king size with a fantastic mattress, the wooden beams on the high ceiling made it so cozy and the breakfast was delicious!! They had the very best croissants and pastry and fresh ripe fruit we had at any hotel on Sardinia, including excellent coffee and such friendly and helpful service from all the staff.

We love Hotel Flora! We first stayed at the hotel in 2022 and again this October. The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of many restaurants, cafes, and shopping. It is quiet and clean. The breakfast buffet is wonderful and it is a bonus to have a restaurant as well that serves very good food. The staff are very professional and helpful. We will be back!

Fantastically organised. Room facilities were good, beds SO comfy and the best pillows I have slept on for years. Sumptuous bathroom. Toiletries supplied with the exception of hair conditioner so make sure to get some (if your hair is like mine!). Lovely towels, slippers and dressing gowns supplied. Minifridge was very welcome! Although the hotel is only a relatively short walk into town (maybe 20 minutes?), in the heat this was very draining - taxis in Cagliari are outrageously expensive, so factor this in unless you love the heat. The plunge pool mentioned is not free to use but must be purchased as part of the spa packages which was slightly disappointing. Overall a great stay in what felt like affordable luxury. Recommended.

The hotel was easy to find in the dark albeit using Google Maps and the underground free parking opposite was vey convenient. Check in was easy with english speaking staff. The room was a good size and we loved the decor. As is it was very late we didn't use the restaurant but had a light snack in the bar where the staff were very friendly. The buffet breakfast had an extensive choice of high quality items and good coffee. This a business orientated hotel but fully met our need for an overnight stop after a late arriving flight at the start of our holiday.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The staff was wonderful - extremely nice people. I think they would try to do anything to help a guest. As an older lady who travels alone, I place great value on nice people. There are a few things that could be improved upon. I do not like to have to get dressed and put a coat on to walk outside and down the street to the breakfast room. But that is just lazy me. Breakfast is served in a restaurant with the same name as the hotel and is very basic. I like more hot choices, or, just more choices period. I do not like a shower that is so small you cannot bend over to pick up a bar of soap that has been dropped. But the bathroom was new and very clean. The hot water took forever during the day. My biggest complaint was the in and out wifi. I have to work in the evening using wifi, and it would go out. Since no one is on the desk after 7:00PM, if the wifi goes out, one is out of luck until the next day. Would I stay here again? Maybe,....but at my age I might like a hotel where things go a bit more smoothly. Katherine

A very pleasant 3 night stay in the recently opened hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke fluent English. The room was a classic single room which was compact but fine for a short trip, comfortable bed, TV and free wifi. The bathroom and shower is very modern. The hotel is in the Marina area so close to many shops and restaurants and tourist places like the Chiesa di Santa Chiara and Bastione di Saint Remy. The hotel is 5 minutes from the train station (for airport) and 2 minutes from the bus stop which can take you to Poetto beach. The ferry terminal is also 5 minutes away.

I stayed here for just one night, in a single room. The service I received here was excellent. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and welcoming. I was on the first floor, in an ample room for one person. The hotel is very well located, just 5 minutes walk from the ARST bus station, as well as a plethora of shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was included in my room rate, and there were a variety of things available to eat, from savoury meats and cheeses, sweet pastries, yoghurts and cereal. The hotel organised a shuttle for me to the airport, and whilst this is a bit more expensive than an ordinary cab, you know it will be reliable, timely and safe for a single traveller. I very much enjoyed my experience here, and would certainly stay again. Thank you!

Located across the road from Poetto Beach. The road has been converted to a one way single car lane, two running lanes, bike lanes and a wide walking lane. If you come here with expectations for the one star hotel that it is, you will be happy. The rooms are small, but clean with a small patio and clothes drying rack. The staff are good English speakers and very helpful. Reception is open only from 9:00 to 1:30 and 4;00 to 8:00. There are lots of beach restaurants, full restaurants and beach bars nearby. Many restaurants don’t open until 7:49 pm for dinner. There is a supermarket within walking distance and a pharmacy adjoins the hotel. You can buy a coupon for 3 Euros that entitles you to a coffee and crossant for breakfast at Il Lido, a couple of blocks away.

There was nothing not to like at Hotel Poetto. We arrived early and were able to put our bags in the room so we headed to the beach, just a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Staff were lovely and very helpful. As we are two friends travelling, we always ask for twin beds. We arrived to find the bed was a double, but no problem - by the time we returned from the beach our room had been changed to two singles without a fuss. Everything was clean, comfortable and well presented. We had a little courtyard and everything we needed. Parking was not available onsite but there is a free parking area opposite the hotel. It is busy but we scored a park and left our car there during our stay with no issues. This property is also a very easy drive to the airport. Across the road was a lovely restaurant Lo Speedo Sardo that I highly recommend. Also we had some amazing Limoncello’s at Caffe De Mar Cagliari across the road on the beach. The coffee and croissant at La Rotondina was superb! Thanks for an amazing stay. We loved it!

It was very clean and comfortable with a lovely shower. The location was great, close to the beach, shop and restaurants. Alba was super sweet. She was so helpful and attentive. I would give this hotel more than 1 star.

The room and the terace are quite small and the metal thing for drying clothes outside could be renewed. Other than that: amazing friengly and helpful staff. Very clean rooms! Perfect location! Less than 5 min to the supermarket. Beach 1 min, pharmacy next door. Restaurant on the opposite side of the street, little fair with food and carousels in 5 min walk reachable. The station for the bus to the city is litterally 25 steps away!

The room was very comfortable and clean, the location was very convenient, really close to the beach and those who love running close to running facility next to the sea! The staff was very friendly and helpful! Definitely coming back here!

We loved our stay at this hotel which was a family holiday for 8 days. We booked two of the larger rooms (one double one single in each) as we were four (parents and children aged 19,21). The rooms were great with one of them semi divided down the middle. We could see the biggest rooms could take a family of 4 with younger children and those had the balcony. The hotel price is good - much less than central Calagari and with a car we had easy access to the city with a 15 min drive. The beach was 2 mins drive or 15-20 mins walk and was a nice beach with some restaurants. Other nicer beaches to the east were 20 mins drive which were good for snorkelling. There were restaurants nearby but we preferred to drive to the city and eat there most days. We visited a small winery town one day (Serdiana) and did a mountains walk. The hotel doesn’t have great views but not a big issue - it was quiet and the hotel had feee parking. The aircon was fine although we never had really hot weather. It may have struggled more in 36-40c. The staff were very helpful and room service great- all very clean. The breakfast we only had one day - it was fine but we didn’t want much so found a nice place opposite that did coffee and pastries for a good price. Most restaurants are good prices for pizza / pasta unless you go very fancy. Drinks are quite cheap and ice creams. As a UK family it was nice to go somewhere not so populated with Brits. The mini bar was useful as a fridge. Thank you Best Western!

The whole staff was really nice and spoke good english. Everything was perfectly clean, the bed was very firm and comfortable. We had a balcony with a view of the sea, such a great room honestly. Also the breakfast is an excellent deal, for 6€ you get a variety of fresh, filling and very tasty foods that accommodates most dietary restrictions.

Large comfy beds, with a view over Poetta beach. We arrived late at night and had no problem the the check in. The room was very quiet. Breakfast was not included but for an extra 8 euros per person we had an excellent breakfast with lots of choices.

Great overall experience and facilities with helpful staff. There should be more information and advice available for visitors about local shops, restaurants, bars etc. near the hotel and Poetto beach, as restaurants and bars were difficult to find. There could also be more information on how to get to the main Cagliari city centre, and what you can find there, so that visitors are not restricted to limited options in Poetto.

We spent a lovely 3 nights at the gorgeous Villa Flumini in one of the B&B rooms. The gardens are beautiful and everything is clean and perfectly maintained. It was relatively easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The housekeeper was organised, efficient and friendly and a great spread was provided for breakfast everyday, including some hot dishes such as sausages and fried eggs/omelettes. The room itself is spacious and felt newly decorated. There is a terrace area with a table for alfresco dining and it was even equipped with a washing line (which was great for drying beachwear!). The mini bar is very well stocked and also very well priced. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, but do be aware that there isn’t much around and you will need a car to get about.

We loved everything! Valentina is an amazing host. Everything was extremely clean and well arranged, she cooked breakfast every morning for us and was always there to help. The territory of the villa is so beautiful! We enjoyed having a coffee or a glass of wine at the terrace every time. In the room, you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay together with basic things, for example, iron, beach towels, micellar water, sponges etc. You notice how much care Valentina takes of this place and how much attention is given to details. We loved our stay there! Absolutely recommend.

I chose this hotel primarily out of brand loyalty but it honestly was the nicest hotel I saw in Cagliari. The location is second to none right on the harbor looking west for gorgeous sunset views. You are only minutes walk to Via Roma and the old town with its maze of beautiful cobbled streets. We were very kindly upgraded to a luxury suite which was well appointed and spacious. I especially loved the huge bathroom with double sinks and separate bath/shower. We very much enjoyed the fantastic facilities of the hotel especially the roof top pool and relaxation area where I spent manner hours reading and enjoying the views. The dining options are many at hotel Tirso, from the lounge bar and main restaurant to the roof top bar and restaurant Cielo with its panoramic views, The staff at this hotel deliver a very warm and friendly service, I would especially like to thank Nicola C at Bar Tirso also Alfredo and Nicola O at Cielo Rooftop for looking after us so well and being so understanding of my poor Italian. I promise to be better next time. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this luxury hotel in the heat of Cagliari.

This was a new location and hotel for us having never been to Cagliari before. The hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Particularly helpful in giving advice was Demetrio, providing good recommendations on beaches, restaurants and other points of interest. We enjoyed the roof terrace for dinner and late evening drinks, whilst enjoying views of the city and port. The breakfast buffet was adequate with fresh fruit, and hot food to order. Throughout our short, four day visit, we found the staff always friendly and helpful. The room always clean.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better location—just a short walk to the main tourist area of Cagliari, which made it super convenient for sightseeing and dining out. We walked everywhere during our trip and loved being so close to everything. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The decor was stylish and trendy, and we were greeted by a lovely fresh scent every time we walked in, which added a nice touch. As well the breakfast buffet was tasty and offered a wide selection. There is a small pool on the rooftop as well - plus gym and spa. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Cagliari!

The staff was helpful and friendly, treated me and my 8 year old son like honoured guests. They were ver responsive to requests. Loved the breakfast! Though we didn’t wake up early enough to take advantage of it each day, the variety and quality of the food never disappointed. The chef will make your omelet however you like or the staff will go hunt for a grapefruit for you if there aren’t any out (with a smile!). The quality and taste extended to Cielo and we happily made our way through that delicious menu (do not leave without trying the duck). The meals at the beach club were also quite delicious with fresh ingredients. You do have to book the shuttle and reserve beach chairs but if the times do not work for you, it’s a quick cab ride away. You can book your activities on your own but if you’re having trouble (and I did on a few things) the concierge can make it happen for you, so utilize that excellent man. The hotel was in a great location for walking to other restaurants or meeting points for tours. Quick walk to bus and train stop if needed. Lots of good shopping about and if you forget to make a reservation at Cielo and it’s full, walking across the street to Hublot is a great option and the food and service there will convert you to a lifetime customer. The rooftop pool at the hotel is kiddie sized. Wasn’t a problem for me because I don’t do pools and my child enjoyed frolicking it in. Honestly, can’t wait to stay again!

Very nice hotel. We stayed one night, primarily for convenience as only a short drive from airport. The hotel is not far from city centre and, although we did't use it, understand it is v near a bus route in/out. The area around the hotel is largely residential/light industrial, but it felt safe. The room was spotless, quiet, had very comfortable beds and a great shower. We had dinner in the stylish restaurant which was tasty and reasonably priced. The breakfast buffet had a good range of lovely hot and cold options. Staff were courteous and helpful.

The staff is amazing. For me, that is a very big deal. They were all professional and in one case, we had some issues with the window in our room since we could not close it correctly, and the staff had someone in our room in 5 mins to show us how. The breakfast is amazing, fresh fruit, fresh pastries and a good selection of seating indoors and outdoors. The restaurant was also amazing. The servers were very attentive and helpful with helping my girlfriend and I select our meals. We also got to enjoy a live band. We had accessible parking while we were there as we rented a vehicle.

The apartment is basic, but very comfortable and clean. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom fully equipped. Fully air conditioned and , great bonus for me, a very nice coffee machine with nespresso like capsule. The reception also sells capsule and they were excellent. The pool is big and there is also a restaurant/bar. The staff is exceptional and very helpful. They even let us use an empty apartment on our checkout day to use the shower so we could use the pool for the morning.

This is the second time we have stayed at this lovely hotel. All the staff are friendly and professional from the moment you check in through to the excellent service at dinner and breakfast. The restaurant serves excellent Sardinian dishes and great wine choices. The room is a good size, very clean, a comfortable bed and excellent shower. Highly recommend.

In two words, the stay at the hotel was excellent. Starting from reception. We had chosen a superior room on the 1st floor with an extra bed because we were three people. The room exceeded all our expectations. It was simply fantastic. fantastic view of the pool from the terrace, beds made and soft, pillows fluffy. I was especially pleased with the separate shower room and WC. The room was cleaned every day, towels changed. Even when we didn't specify it. Pool with jacuzzi! Wow!!! A separate story is about the restaurant. We had the HB concept. For breakfast, both hot dishes, snacks and fruits. Everything is fresh and tasty. Dinner? I will not exaggerate - only half a step closer to Michelin stars. Biggest thanks to the cooks and wait staff. Finally, a special thank you to Michelangelo from the front desk. For help in a difficult situation.

We used this as our airport hotel as it's about 30 mins drive from Cagliari airport so we spent the first two nights and the last night of our holiday here, and the rest at a beach/climbing resort called Cala Gonone further north. The hotel was very attractively furnished with pretty gardens including outdoor pool and a large welcoming lobby. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and chairs, plenty of wardrobe space and clean and attractive bath/shower room We had a bit of trouble finding it in our hire car in the rain and dark (get on the SS195 out of Cagliari and then take the almost hidden filter lane right just before the 3rd roundabout then follow the signs to the hotel. When we arrived, tired, soggy and hungry at about 11pm, we were told that the kitchens were closed and that we were unlikely to find any restaurants still open. However, the receptionist was extremely helpful and phoned around and found a restaurant that was still open for us (brilliant and interestingly decorated pizza place at the next roundabout south). The hotel provides an excellent breakfast buffet, and very tasty evening meals, and is a few metres away from a pizzeria and some restaurants, and a small shopping centre including a deSpar (like our Spar shops) for stocking up on food, snacks, fuel for our camping stove, sun cream etc. We did stuggle to find much to see in the immediate area, and weren't all that impressed with the beach, but I guess that's why they have the pool.

A good hotel relies on great staff and they don't get much better than this! They are so helpful - nothing is ever too much trouble. They kindly upgraded our room for us on arrival which was much appreciated. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the beach is just a 5-10 minute walk away. Beach loungers and sun shades at "Cayo Loco" can be hired at a discounted rate through reception. The area is safe and ideal for small children. Eating out is easy and affordable with all restaurants speaking some english. The food we ate was really good and ordering couldn't be easier. Restaurants open from 20:00 each evening and I'd recommend that you explore the local eateries rather than eat from the hotel's limited à la carte menu. There is an excellent high-end fish restaurant called Sa Cardiga e Su Schironi which we ate at twice. It's a 5 minute walk from the hotel and you won't be disappointed... Even the beach bar at Cayo Loco is great - just try the Brushetta for lunch along with the local Ichnusa beer. A bit further up the beach is "La Bitta" - which serves excellent pasta and general seafood. They do a good bowl of mussels, and a Tiramisu. In fact the Tiramisu was so light it started floating away! We had a great holiday here - hope you do too.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The room I had (double for single use) was tastefully appointed, spacious, well maintained, and clean. Beautiful views from the balcony over palms and the pool, with the montains in the background. Great plus: convenient and free parking, something next to impossible in downtown Cagliari accommodations. Some reviewers have complained about the hotel's industrial vicinity. I didn't notice any negative impact. The industrial sites (refineries) are far away while the envirnomentally protected area and bird sanctuary are in the immediate neighborhood. Breakfast and dinner were in buffet form and plenty and good. I enjoyed both on the outdoor terrace.

First impressions of the hotel were very high! We were upgraded from a standard room to a superior with two balconies- the views of the surrounding area were amazing! The hotel is very clean- you always see the housekeeping staff and maintenance cleaning areas and making it very pleasurable to stay. The staff are very friendly and made us laugh and smile every time we saw them- real Italian hospitality! Th location is 30mins out of Cagliari so is very quiet and peaceful. There are lots of excursions to do which the front desk staff are happy to help you book but we did ours before we arrived. The staff on front desk are wonderful and nothing is ever too much for them. The restaurant is a bit expensive (as is the area) for the portion size you receive. The "maialino arrosto" is absolutely delicious and definitely worth a try! There is a supermarket opposite the hotel but I think if you come to this area you need to speak very good Italian- the locals were not as friendly as other Italian destinations and laughed at us when we tried to speak Italian- something we have not experienced before the hotel staff were also very shocked about this.There is a very nice and hospitable restaurant nearby called Sa Cardiga e Su Schironi- it is a bit expensive but we felt the food and hospitality was absolutely worth it! We LOVED this hotel and the staff but the locals spoil it with their lack of hospitality. We would stay again but only for a few days.

The receptionists were friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was across the small street from the main hotel itself. Our room was very large – room for two twin beds, a full pullout double bed sofa, side tables, a main table and still quite a lot of extra room to walk around. In fact, it was one of the largest hotel rooms I’ve seen. The room had a huge, vaulted ceiling which added to the size and two large windows that opened to the street. The bathroom was a good size with enough counter space around the sink, and a shower and bidet. The closet was also a good size with a safe. The room was very clean and as mentioned, everything looked new and fresh. Our room faced the little street and with the windows closed we barely heard outside noise. Also, the main action is just a street away and so it was, for the most part, quiet on our street anyways. The breakfast buffet was fine with plenty of choices. No hot choices, but a mix of pastries, breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, cereals, etc. The hotel is in a good, convenient location. The train station is approx. a 5-minute walk away and the harbor, where boat trips leave from, was only an 8 minute away. There are plenty of restaurants, shops and ice cream stores within a 5-minute walk.

I stayed here for two nights in October 2024. I chose the hotel as it was well placed for the railway station and other amenities. I had a single room on the third floor which was nice and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable, with a modern bathroom and good shower. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly, with a 24 hour reception. The breakfast was ok, no hot options included but there was a fair range of cold foods included. The hotel is well placed for restaurants, with dozens located in the street and adjoining roads. Would stay here again.

A remodeled, antique hotel with modern decor and amenities. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We arrived early and they stowed our luggage away in a backroom until check in time and we hit the old town shopping, wine sipping and snacking. It's located within walking distance to the marina and the center of town. The complimentary breakfast was beautifully displayed with local pastries, toast, yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, formaggi and salumi with coffee American style. The only thing lacking was the air-conditioning. I can handle the heat and slept well on the comfortable twin bed.

Clean, friendly and comfortable experience. This is a quiet and friendly 'suites and apartment' hotel run by a team as a "family business" who are all very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. There is no bar or restaurant as such but there is a large breakfast room and drinks can be provided as room service. There are bicycles, beach towels, parasols etc. to hire and tours and restaurants can be booked by the staff. There is also an offer to collect and deliver from the airport which is much cheaper than the big companies. The city of Cagliari is a 20 minute bus ride away.

I was a guest of the villa de Mare for five nights. Prices are very good !! The room was clean and big was with a large terrace with sea view. Among other things there was a good air conditioner a Minbar, TV, a comfortable bed and comfortable pillows. The bathroom was very clean and not small at all !! I also found the wonderful bathrobe, !! There was free wi-fi in the room !! Breakfast all very good with great choice !!! Very kind and professional people in the breakfast room !! The Villa del Mare is right on Poetto beach, a few blocks from the parking lot, and right across from two excellent beach restaurants. You just walk out the gate, across a small road, and onto the beach. The owners are friendly and enthusastic, helping us arrange transport to/from the airport, rent a car, and find local sights to see, as well as selling bus tickets. Of course there are many ways to get into town, but the bus is a great trip and only ten minutes to downtown Cagliari. They provide a breakfast of delicious pastries, fruit, cheese and bread, yogurt, juices, tea, coffee, and eggs which is quite fine. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds and good showers. There is also an outside shower to rinse the sand off. We were very happy with our stay!

I stayed for 1 night in Due Colonne. I chose it because of its location. On a small street in Down Town, the 2nd from the Marina and via Roma. Cagliari Old Town is easily accessible on foot from there. The hotel is located on several floors, from the entrance on the ground floor, one has to take the elevator or stairs up. The reception and the breakfast restaurant is on the 1st floor. The room was OK, not small, not big, dark. There are rooms with balconies (well, a balcony where one can put one feet :)), mine was without that. The window faced a busy street, but despite that I did not hear any noise. The bed was big and comfortable. A bit cold in November at night though. I found a blanket in the wardrobe but it was very thin. I would appreciate something warmer. The breakfast was good: yogurt, fruit, cheese, salami, musli, some cakes, juice and coffee. I asked for scrambled eggs, but there were just boiled eggs available. The staff is nice. Wifi worked very well in the room. There was a minibar with water, juice, some snacks. There are lots of restaurants in the vicinity, they work at breakfast, lunch and dinner time, in between they are closed, but still there are lots of cafeterias, etc. The beach is about 5 km from Cagliari and the hotel. But for exploring the city of Cagliari the hotel location is perfect.

GREAT location! Lovely staff. Beautiful two rooms we had on the upper floor. Clean, neat, & safe. They let up linger in an AC back room our last day while we waited for our ferry out - thank you Hotel Due Colonne! One problem: I am fat. Okay - that's not the problem (I can live with being fat). But I am fat and could not get in the shower stall without scraping my sunburnt (a different problem) belly painfully across the shower doors. I actually had to use the nice, bathtub-style shower in my friends' room to shower. (I fit there, not problem). SO, good people at Hotel Due Colonne - maybe figure out a way to put your fat clients in rooms with bathtub-based showers, or change the mini-showers you currently have to have more flexible doorframes. If free boats can make showers for people like me, so can you! Other than that, I'd return gladly. (I'd just make sure I got a bathtub shower and not a fat-squeezer shower.)

I spent a lovely week at Hotel Due Colonne and found it a great base from which to explore Cagliari and the surrounding area. The hotel is just a stone's throw from the bus and train stations, making it very convenient if arriving from the airport on the bus or taking trips by public transport (I took the bus to Poetto Beach and the train to Oristano and Iglesias). Cagliari itself is a very walkable city, especially with the lifts up to Castello, and I was easily able to access the various sights from the hotel's central location. Via Sardegna, where the hotel is located, has many excellent restaurants, so dining options are literally on your doorstep. The breakfast in the hotel was a good spread and the coffee was especially appreciated! All the staff I interacted with were genial and well-mannered. I had no 'issues' that needed dealing with, but I witnessed prompt help and advice being given to others. My room was spacious and comfortable and was cleaned to a high level each day. My room was on the third floor and had a nice view of the city hall. I could hear the occasional ambulance but was not generally disturbed by noise from the street. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Hotel Due Colonne as an excellent base in Cagliari.

The staff were very friendly & helpful. There was a very reasonable choice at breakfast including eggs, cheese & meat. The hotel is situated just off Via Roma & Largo Carlo Felice, surrounded by shops, cafes & restaurants & close to the seafront/Port with Poetto beach a short drive away. I stayed for several nights on arrival in Sardinia & the night before leaving but was not disturbed by noise in the rooms I had. Both rooms I had were of a very reasonable size, one on the fourth floor & one on the third. The beds are quite firm. On the fourth floor I could not get internet & had to go to the first floor to use it. I could get internet on the third floor. The hotel could perhaps have been a little cleaner in places such as the skirting board but if I had to choose between a spotlessly clean hotel or friendly, helpful staff, I would always choose the latter. It was a comfortable & enjoyable stay at the Hotel Due Colonne.

All the staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. We arrived early and asked if we could leave our bags only to be told our room was ready for us to check-in. Spacious shower and plenty of clean towels. A decent selection for breakfast. Comfortable beds and good location.

Hotel doesnt have any bars or restaurants close by but is in good walking distance of public transport into the city and to the beach which is very reliable and easy to use. Although hotel staff were friendly and helpful, same cant be said for the restaurant who ignored me on two occasions when I went to sit in the outside area and wanted to order some drinks. I gave up in the end and went elsewhere. Breakfast options quite limitted but what they did have was good. Room itself was quite comfortable but very dated and in need of some work, particularly in the bathroom.

Our trip ended here in Cagliari. We closed our journey staying at this great hotel. Very old hotel but with an amazing style. We were very impressed with the staff, they were very friendly. The breakfast has several delicious options. The hotel count with excellent facilities, beautiful and elegant restaurant, parking lot and incredible location. Highly recommended.

The staff were so helpful on check in as it was very late. The lady went out of her way to try and find us a restaurant as just about everything was closed. The breakfast in the morning was amazing. They even had cereal and scrambled eggs which was a treat. My kids were well and truly over chocolate cornettos for breakfast.

At check in, i was told the restaurant was in a remodel process but was still serving in a make shift space. The front desk clerk said the primi and secondi were really nice plates. She was absolutely correct! The meal was fantastic and the service was super as well! My favorite meal of the week I spent in Olbia, Cagliari, Arbatax area. The breakfast the next was even exceptional (I generally don’t eat anything but fruit in the morning, but dinner was so good I wanted more). Water feature in the lobby was nice, I could hear it from my room on the first floor. Relaxing.

We had a cooked bfast every morning with eggs and fresh delicious croissants . Graziella advised us re good restaurants in the area and also booked us an excellent day tour to visit other beautiful beaches as well as the taxi transfer to the airport. We also hired ebikes and visited the nature reserve, the historical center of Cagliari using the bike path, also came in useful to visit the far side of Poetto beach which is much quieter. The hotel provides sun umbrellas, deck chairs and beach towels . They have a personal touch! Amazing all round personal service! Highly recommend this hotel. Grazie ancora Graziella e Johnny!

We stayed here at the beginning of july, though the weather was way too hot for us we still had an amazing stay at chentu lunas. First off we had the warmest welcome. Graziella welcomed us and immediately started recommending the best restaurants, stores, trips and places nearby for our stay and even offered to book it for us. Johnny always served us at breakfast with a smile on his face everyday, the breakfast was simple and very delicious. The rooms were cleaned, the beds were comfortable and it has everything u need (towels,soap, tea/coffee maker, etc.) The hotel was at a perfect location that is max a minute walk from poetto beach, nearby restaurants, bus stop and grocery store. We are so glad we chose to stay at chentu lunas, we had the experience of our lives and we could not recommend this place more!! Thank you so much Graziella and Johnny

We had such a wonderful stay, this really was a perfect experience. Johnny and Graziella made us feel so welcome in their beautifully situated Hotel Chentu Lunas or 'a hundred moons'. We loved the morning cappuccinos and juice with the light breakfast and the room was nice and cool, clean and lovely to rest in. It's right on the corner facing the sea and marina - what a super location (a scenic and quiet spot)! The water is so clear - we swam in various locations on the 5 mile beach and it was so easy to pick up food/drink from the local supermarket or from one of the many bars and restaurants along the beach road. With fantastic recommendations from them, we hired ebikes (easy breeze to counter the heat) and toured across the salt plains to see the beautiful flamingoes and along the cycle paths on the coast. With Johnny's help we booked a boat tour just a short walk away on the Marina Piccola and sailed to the Sella del Diavolo (Devil’s Saddle) and remote beaches and had incredible scenic swim/snorkel stops in secluded coves with the pretty fish. We also went into the capital via bus - again so close to a bus stop to visit the old town - SO picturesque with it's historic and beautiful architecture. We highly recommend this - it really was a special experience due lovely accommodation, location and our exceptionally kind hosts. Thank you Graziella and Johnny!!

You wouldn’t be looking here if you wanted five star modern glitzy glamour. What you do get is a comfortable, relaxed beach style accommodation in an absolutely perfect setting with the most wonderful hosts. I also appreciated having a proper hairdryer, a kettle and a fridge. Access to the beautiful beach couldn’t be better and we were fortunate to have an incredible sea view. Johnny and Graziella looked after us incredibly well, going to the lengths of providing requests at breakfast and racing around to help with a broken vape 😂. They have run the place for decades, so are full of recommendations and can sort taxis,trips etc etc. There are some outstanding road works nearby but they didn’t disturb us at all. Decent restaurants nearby and the bus into the beautiful town was quick and easy. Highly recommended.

They gave us a lot of good recommendations where we can get a good breakfast, lunch, etc. The rooms were comfortable & clean, and although we are in the city center we could have a good sleep, because the room was quiet and not noisy at all.

The hotel is very convenient to the train station and the port (walking distance to both). In addition, it is a few short blocks from the most amazing pedestrian street that has an incredible selection of cuisines to choose from. You can sit outside or inside. Many restaurants have deals which include a drink with your meal. The hotel is also close to the Old Town which provided us with hours of fascinated walking and exploring. The breakfast only cost 5 Euros and we had fruit, cereal, yogurt, pastries, juice, and coffee. Great value. The Reception is open 24 hours which is great when you arrive on the late train from Olbia.

Rooms are very spacious and clean. In it's all, the hotel is perfectly clean and extremely well located. The breakfast is simple, but the croissants are fresh, for 1-2 nights, it's just fine. The matresses can be a problem for heavier persons as they are a bit too soft.

Good location - close to train station, buses to the beach and restaurants in the centre. Room was very clean, AC worked great, and rooms were quiet. Staff always friendly and appreciated the 24/7 reception.

The stay at the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and always smelled nice. The breakfast was very tasty and Simona always tried her best. She also lent me an umbrella for the beach and chatted with me in the evenings. Both owners were very friendly and kind. I strongly recommend a visit. :)

Location of the hotel is absolutely amazing! Very close to basically everything (train station, bus station, restaurants; highly recommend pizza place downstairs, city landmarks etc). Super friendly staff ! unfortunately I couldn’t communicate well with Lady who check me in as I don’t speak Italian, but the other staff member was super caring, helpful, friendly and accommodating. He gave me great recommendations and even show me on the map the best places to take photos! I don’t know why people complaining on Wifi. It worked absolutely perfect. I managed to have video calls, answers email and do bit of work. My room was immaculate! Didn’t find any dust or dirt. It is not a luxurious place, but I felt so happy there. I would be happy to stay there again! AC worked well and wasn’t too noisy.

Close to the airport, and this hotel, it looks very old, but it is extremely clean, the floor of the bathroom is brilliant, breakfast is ok (from 7 am). The staff can't speak English very well, but they are very friendly, you can also use body language, :).

We liked the location because we didn't want to be in the city center. We wanted to be closer to the beaches and the main roads but you most likely need a car to stay here although you can take the bus. Our room had been renovated so the furniture was mostly new and the room was clean. Apparently it's not the case for all rooms as it is a pretty big hotel. I thought the breakfast was good despite some bad reviews I had read. You had a limited but good choice between a sweet or savory breakfast and drinks.

We stayed for 4 nights at Residence Ulivi e Palme. We enjoyed it a lot. The rooms were clean, the staff was very helpful. Breakfast was rich with choices, so every person was able to find something that would work for them. It is worth a 5-star rating.

Great location and easy access off a late night ferry! Clean and comfortable, great breakfast too!

The only problem was that we could clearly hear our next door neighbour coughing and talking at night. He could probably hear us as well!! Dinner in the restaurant starts at 20:00, so be aware!! The food was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast wasn't as nice, with very limited options, but, of course, Italians don't "do" big breakfasts in general. It was a decent continental breakfast. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We could definitely imagine staying here again and taking a bus in to Caligiari to do some sightseeing,

We had a 2 night stay prior to an early flight from Cagliari airport which is an easy 10 min drive to the airport and there is a petrol station next door to the hotel for refuelling your rental car. Good car parking in the hotel grounds. Check in was straightforward if a bit lacking in warmth and information both of the hotel facilities and the local area. The standard double room was bigger than many hotel doubles with a nice bathroom. The room decor was a bit dated with a heavy bedcover which I suspect isn't changed between guests but otherwise the room and bathroom were clean with daily fresh towels. Amenities included a minbar fridge, but no in room tea/coffee, and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The hotel wifi was great when it was working but on the first night you couldn't log on, possibly the system couldn't cope with the number of guests trying to use it. The are 2 options for getting into Cagliari if you don't want to drive; train with the Assimini Carmine station 2 streets away and the bus with the stop about 20m away on the same side of the street. Breakfast was a self service buffet which was adequate but nothing special. Best dinner option is the pizzeria directly across the road. Overall a good option close to Cagliari airport.

Hotel Grillo is conveniently located close to Cagliari's airport, and a short drive or bus ride to the city center. There are some very good restaurants close to the hotel and in the hotel itself. The rooms were clean, spacious and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Besides being a very clean hotel, the gym premisse is absolutely amazing. I’m a professional bodybuilder and was able to do my everyday workouts (very well equipped). The staff was all outstanding. I don’t really call out names but Emanuelle (he works at the restaurant) was just amazing! He’s service is excellent and puts the client first making you feel always welcome. If you’re looking to visit Cagliari, look no further for a GREAT place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely family-run hotel in Quartucciu. The family who manages it is incredibly kind and welcoming, and they made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We also loved the peaceful setting with the horses nearby and the very nice swimming pool, perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. Breakfast was quite varied and tasty, with plenty of options to start the day. The location is great too, close to Cagliari and several beautiful beaches, all easily reachable by car. The only small thing that wasn’t ideal for us was that the bed felt a bit too firm for our taste, but that’s really a personal preference and didn’t affect our overall experience. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

We arrived late and were still welcomed for dinner in the restaurant. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, I wish we'd had more time to enjoy them. The breakfast was continental, as expected. The family that owns the hotel is very friendly and welcoming. It was the perfect stop for our first night in Sardinia.

Friendly and helpful staff, cozy villa atmosphere, quiet, good security, nice breakfast, good location - easy drive to various beaches and Cagliari. Clean and well conditioned.

The calm and relaxing atmosphere was just amazing. The rooms were great and very cute. Great location to explore the south part of Sardinia.
