Hemos estado muy a gusto. Hemos viajado en familia y elegimos una habitación con Jacuzzi. Espectacular. El hotel está muy cerca de la Cite (10 min andando). La ubicación es muy tranquila y cerca de todo. Muy recomendable.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel we were treated like special guests. Staff grabbed our bags, guided us through no-hassle check in and took us to our room. Provided and orientation of room features and important information and then left us to enjoy the oversized modern hotel room. Extremely spacious for a hotel room in France! We loved the balcolny where you could have breakfast in the morning. The hotel restaurant is absolutely magnificent - I suggest dining out on the patio for the beautiful garden views. Service was top-notch and the food magnificent! We had a dinner that I will remember for years to come! The manager/owner helped guide us to the medieval city by foot (only a 10-15 minute walk) and there is a sister hotel right at the entrance to the medieval city that has a swimming pool that hotel guests can use. We liked not staying in the medieval city as those hotels are older and it is difficult to get through the cobblestone narrow roads. We liked having a hotel just outside the city. Everything was warm and friendly and every question was answered with a smile. There was not one thing that I could point to that was not ideal about our stay!. Notes - nice clean rooms. A/C works great. Breakfast was good and included (upcharge for eggs.) I would stay there again and again! In my opinion this hotel is 5-STAR! Recommend booking a junior suite - the additional money is worth it!

AMAZING. a must go if you are in Carcasonne !!!! Simply perfect hotel, from the decoration to the space in the bedrooms, to the professional and welcoming staff, always there to help and assist you during your stay. The breakfast can be in your room and there is so much choice, all delicious. Make sure to book a wine tasting with the Sommeliere, and also for dinner at the restaurant for a unique moment around food and wine.

A gem of a design hotel with attention to detail and decor. Knowledgeable and professional staff, beautifully appointed rooms and public areas, including breakfast room and restaurant. We were sorry to miss dining at the Michelin star restaurant, especiallu as the dishes and desserts we spied during check in looked delicious!

Excellent stay at this hotel, everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was super clean and well decorated. We loved the shutters in the window, we slept very well. However, the WiFi was not working and no continental breakfast should cost 25 EUR per person.

Perfectly situated to walk to restaurants and up to la cite . Beautiful old Manoir with a swimming pool and jacuzzi in the garden. We were able to charge the electric car as well. Our dog was able to run and play as well .

Good location close to the old bridge and the walled city. There’s a street around the corner with several good restaurants. The house is an old fashioned town house in well restored condition and tastefully furnished with antiques. Lovely garden with pool and jacuzzi. The room was very comfortable and well equipped and the host and hostess are very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great with freshly brewed coffee, fresh bread and croissants and lovely ham and cheeses.

This is a beautiful little boutique hotel, nicely decorated, in a perfect location within a 10 minute walk to either the old or new part of carcasonne. There is plenty of one-site parking behind a locked gate. Nice breakfast and our host Marianne was very accommodating. There is an outside pool and jacuzzi, but note they are not heated. I would stay here again.

The Lush garden with pool and jacuzzi was a welcome oasis after a long car drive from Lyon to Carcassone on our roadtrip to Barcelona. The convenient and EV-friendly parking with two chargers (for a flat fee of EUR 20 per day) was a big plus. The castle and old town of Carcassonne are within easy walking distance. The antique furnishing of the hotel rooms with Louis Vuitton wallpapers and bathrooms, as well as the ever-present classical jazz tunes, create a time capsule atmosphere. A delicious breakfast topped off the experience. This place has the ambiance of Hearst Castle in San Simeon, California.

We had a lovely spacious room and en suite in this beautiful old Manor House. Our room was very well appointed, comfortable and clean whilst also being very homely! The bathroom was spacious with everything we could need; the shower was good. Breakfast was really good with delicious fresh fruit, bread and croissants, freshly-squeezed orange juice, plenty of tea and coffee and the options of cold meat and cheese or eggs made to order. Fabulous! Having an informative text (about our room readiness and parking) just ahead of our stay was very useful and we had a lovely welcome from the owner when we arrived; she was very helpful. There’s plenty of places to sit or lounge in the lovely garden or by the heated swimming pool which we were welcome to use. The medieval city is a pleasant 700m walk (some uphill) from the Manor and there’s a wide choice of restaurants, cafés and bars a couple of minutes walk from the Manor as well as many more within the walls of the old city.

The location was perfect directly by the old bridge! Small street with good restaurants and places to sit and drink coffee/wine! Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and attention to detail. Our room was clean and had an ensuite bathroom with shower. The double room had its own coffee machine which was a touch of luxury! Bed linen changed daily & our room left immaculately clean. All the staff were helpful and attentive giving us plenty of helpful information to make our stay in Carcassonne very relaxing & enjoyable. A small & very friendly hotel which I unreservedly recommend! Thanks to you all!

Excellent location, close to several fabulous restaurants and easy walking to old and newer part of town. Amazing view of the citadel from the 3rd floor terrace. Also has a beautiful courtyard garden and the hotel has it's own deli selling wine, so perfect taking wine out to the garden and to the roof terrace. Breakfast is amazing value for money and very tasty with lots of choice. Very helpful staff.

This is one of the best small hotels I have ever stayed in. Our trip to Carcassonne was a surprise for my partners 60th birthday and I had carried out a lot of research and booked Hotel du Pont Vieux after reading all the fantastic reviews. After booking I emailed to ask for a room with a view of the cite and we stayed in a premium room on the third floor and the view was amazing. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful, always happy to answer questions and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. The hotel has a beautiful courtyard garden with plenty of seating areas and it was lovely at the end of a busy day exploring Carcassonne to sit and relax with a bottle of local sparkling wine (available from hotel at a very reasonable price). It was a hot few days but the air conditioning in the room kept the room nice and cool. The beds were extremely comfortable and I think I had the best four nights sleep ever!! The hotel is situated in an ideal location for exploring Carcassonne, between the cite and the town, on an authentic French street with bars, cafes and restaurants. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone (though please note there are no lifts and the stairs are spiral which adds to the charm of the hotel but might not suit everyone). I also can’t leave a review without mentioning Isador (excuse me if that’s not spelt correctly) the hotel’s cat. He greeted us on arrival and could be found every day helping to run reception!!

could easily recommend Hotel du Pont Vieux. Airport bus drops just 10min walk over the old bridge, lovely hotel in a street of restaurants leading to castle. Friendly staff, great room with king size bed and modern bathroom, enjoyed listening to sounds of people in street having their meals (shutters provide darkness and quiet if needed). Great terrace views of castle from top floor, perfect for evening drinks. Castle just 10mins walk. Great breakfast buffet, thanks everyone at HdPV 😁

We had very enjoyable stay at this hotel, which is conveniently situated, in a quiet location, for the Old City (uphill walk but we did not find it a problem). A warm welcome greeted us on arrival and we found all the staff we met very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable and we had plenty of space; the bed was very comfortable. A good breakfast was provided, which we could take inside or in the garden (a lovely setting). For convenience and not having visited Carcassonne before, we chose to take a taxi from the train station to the hotel. The taxi had to leave us near the hotel (1-2 minute walk to the hotel) as the hotel is situated in a no-traffic zone at certain times of the year. The hotel provided clear instructions for getting to the hotel, so again no problem. On leaving we decided to walk to the train station, about a 20 minute mostly flat walk. We would certainly use this hotel again if returning to Carcassonne.

The hotel is perfectly situated inside the walls of La Cite, a short walk from all the highlights. The pick-up from the communal hotels parking lot below the city walls was very convenient. The welcome at the hotel was very warm. We were offered a delightful beverage while sitting in the salon to check in. The hotel upgraded us to a room with a lovely view, very comfortable in size. The bathroom was adequate with nice amenities. There were a few steps up and down to get to the elevator but nothing we could not handle. We dined in the one star Michelin restaurant inside the hotel - La Barbacane. The food and service were excellent and given the bad weather it was an especially good choice to dine at the hotel. Breakfast is served in the same restaurant with a wide choice of buffet items and foods cooked to your request.

A beautiful hotel with great views from the terrace, as well as a beautiful pool area. We were upgraded for free from a standard room to a junior suite overlooking the Basilica and the room was amazing; very spacious and with a huge bed, shower and bath in the bathroom and plenty of storage space. Plus the staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The best place to stay in the old city.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. (booked a restaurant for us at short notice) Staff that complete transfer from car park to hotel were very helpful and Jerome was very knowledgeable about Carcassonne which was enjoyable to listen to. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. Would definitely stay again .

Location and setting were amazing. Outside garden and views were magical. Lobby and dinning area fantastic too. We went there for our anniversary and although room didn't meet my expectations, it was still very nice and clean, we had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The bottle of brut in the room and the card was a very nice touch. Breakfast was great. Staff very professional and helpful.

Amazing room, upgraded to garden view. Spacious and fully equipped. Breakfast buffet was exceptionally good.. Location was, as you would expect from being within the medieval city, just perfect.
