This hotel is a real gem. It is in an amazing location on the edge of the medina that is still accessible by a car but already on pedestrian zone. From here,it is a short walk to the creek, main shopping streets and the main square. You can also go up the mosque for a beautiful view and the path is right by the hotel. The view from the terrace for sunsets is unbelievable. The staff is kind, professional and helpful. Breakfast is very filling and with healthy choices. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The manager is super kind and really takes guest comfort seriously. We got upgraded to a higher level room due to some noisy guests. We did not even ask:). After 1 month of travelling in Morocco, this was top notch experience. Highly recommended and if it is in your budget, splurge on the 3rd floor suite that has direct access to terrace and corner views onto the medina and city. If I knew how comfortable and spectacular it is, I would have booked it right away!

We traveled with friends and booked two double rooms. Rooms are basic and clean. The view from the roof terrace over the blue city is stunning. We were welcomed with Moroccan tea on the terrace when we arrived. It’s the perfect place to stay if you arriving by car as the parking garage is one minute walk away and costs 60 dhs per 24hrs. The entrance to the old town is across the road and down some stairs. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was the typical Moroccan style with a good coffee. We all enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed discovering alley ways of The Blue city. Take a walk up to the Mosque on the hill. Beautiful views from there.

We arrived early, were warmly welcomed and given tea whilst waiting for our room. The on site secure parking for our 2 motorcycles was important for us. Our room was very clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast was good with omelette, moroccan breads, olives, honey jam, and cream cheese plus sweet fresh orange juice and tea or coffee. The location was perfect, with views from the roof terrace overlooking Chefchaouen. An enjoyable walk to the medina, also a short walk to the Lavadero Ras el Mar and a longer walk up hill to the Spanish Mosque, great views and especially to watch the sun go down. The hospitality was excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our time at Hotel Al Khalifa! We stayed 4 nights, which gave us plenty of time to visit and experience Chefchaouen! The location is perfect - just a 10 minutes walk from the medina. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The terrace offers a great view of the city. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The room was spacious and confortable. The AC is our room was a bit noisy and the drain from our bathroom sink took some time to drain, but it didn’t take away from our amazing time at the hotel! We definitely recommend Hotel Al Khalifa and we would go back in a heartbeat!

I had a wonderful night at Hotel Alkhalifa in Chefchaouen! The place is super charming, very clean, and well located. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. The view from the hotel is amazing, especially in the morning — such a peaceful and beautiful sight. And the breakfast was delicious, with fresh products served in a lovely setting. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chefchaouen. A great experience — I’ll definitely come back!

Staff was welcoming and friendly, promptly served us mint tea while we waited to check in. Rooms were clean and comfy. We enjoyed having a nice adjoining living room with our parents' room so we had a space to hang out in. The neighborhood was the only downside. I wouldn't walk back alone at night. Our car was fine and once inside, we felt very safe. Breakfast was lovely and was served when we requested it. We were served fresh pastries, coffee/tea, and local dairy. We highly recommend this place!

Nothing was too much trouble: the staff was extremely polite, friendly, helpful. The location is easy to find and a big carpark available next to the riad. The room was very spacious with a big and comfortable bed. All amenities are very clean. Breakfast was very delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We chose it because we had an early morning bus to catch, and it was across the street from the bus station. We were pleasantly surprised….nice big room, big comfortable bed, adequate heating, and a good shower. Welcoming pleasant people….gave us a ride up the hill! Great views across the valley to see the sunset. Breakfast was next door and more than enough for 30 dirhams.

we stayed there for two nights, it is conveniently located right across the street from the bus station. Family owned Riad, very friendly and helpful staff. We felt the warm welcome and assistance required by everyone. The View from the Terrace is breathtaking. Definitely the best place i stayed in when i visited Morocco for 3 weeks when it comes to the view.

Chefchouan is a honeymoon must-see, but Lina Riyad and Spa made it our most tranquil stay in Morocco. The most comfortable bed in my time in Morocco. Such spacious rooms with authentic Moroccan design and artwork on the walls. The decor was all intentional and the details made the riad feel like a luxury villa. The staff were all amazing, especially Kawtar, Hajar, Samira and Yusra. They went above and beyond to make us feel not only comfortable but as if we were special guests. Luxury defines the experience very well, and the five star rating is not exaggerated. The location is great and when you arrive, you can contact them and they will have someone help you find the Riyad from where your ride drops you off. Being in the heart of Chefchouan it is not far from the Medina, tourist sites and many popular restaurants are all between 5-7 minute walk away. The breakfast is the best I had in Morocco and the natural yoghurt and goat cheese was amazing, everything was farm to table. We had a city view and watched the sun set from the rooftop, I’ll never forget it. It is worth every penny to stay here and I highly highly recommend.

We travel al lot, and stay in a lot of hotels, but this is definitely one we'll never forget. Situated in the heart of the old Medina, this beautifully decorated hotel offers all the luxury and comfort you can wish for. We had the suite on the top floor, which gives you a stunning view over the city and the mountains from your private terrace. The possibility that you can reserve the entire swimming pool just for yourselves, is amazing. Breakfast is perfect. The wellness packages they offer, are absolutely superbe. We tried the Hammam, the massage, and the facial treatments. It all was perfect. And last, but not least, a big shout out to the staff! The reception was run by two young ladies who both did an outstanding job to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They were professional, very kind and helpful, and certainly added to the fact that we had one of our better stays ever. Thank you ladies. Till next time, Ins Allah.

This Ryad is truly magical. We booked a room with a huge rooftop balcony which was superb. Room plus bathroom a bit small, but the terrace and the views are superb. The breakfast is really good and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Dinner was amazing. Awesome location! Loved this Ryad!

This is an amazing little hotel in the middle of the madina. The room was large and clean. Staff were friendly and professional. The hotel sent a porter to the car park just outside of the Medina to meet us and help us with bags and to find the location (and they helped us back at the end of the stay). Breakfast was amazing and probably one of the best we had in Morocco. But the best was the spa. We booked the pool for a private swim and then had Hamman our attendent was friendly and it was a great experience.

Huge thanks to the staff of this hotel, especially Chef Abdo, who makes every breakfast a memorable experience. Each morning, he carefully prepares the buffet and is always attentive to guests’ comfort—whether you prefer to enjoy the buffet or have a personalized crêpe or drink made just for you. He even notices the smallest details, like adjusting the shade on the terrace if needed. This man is truly everywhere, making sure everything is perfect, and his dedication made our stay exceptional. Thank you from the heart! If you visit Chefchaouen, breakfast at Vancii is an absolute must. The rooms are spotless, fully equipped, and everything works perfectly. The hotel is spacious and well-maintained, with excellent internet connection. The views are simply breathtaking. Located right in the heart of the city, everything you need is just a short walk away.

This is my second visit to this sensational hotel, having been here last year. The staff are pleasant and professional - always willing to go above and beyond. The rooms have a fantastic shower and are super clean and comfortable, with wonderful mountain and city views. The breakfast is fresh and has many options, and the hotel restaurant is reasonably priced with a delicious oriental menu. The roof has a terrace with exceptional views of the city. The hotel's location is great being at the centre and easy access to the kasbah,markets and sightseeing the beautiful blue buildings. This is most definitely my go-to hotel when visiting Chefchaouen, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made us feel at home right away. Our room was lovely, with its own private terrace – such a nice touch! Everything was clean and comfortable, and we truly enjoyed our time there. The rooftop was definitely a highlight, offering a beautiful view – perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of tasty options. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations and we would happily stay here again!

Really nice hotel. Chinese and international friendly as it had English / Chinese instructions for everything. It felt more like a 4 star than a 3 star one. We had the junior suite with terrace and the view was amazing. The room was clean, the A/C worked perfectly and it was better than expected actually. Breakfast was good with many choice. There are some parking nearby that cost 50/60MAD for 24h. There is a bar and terrace at the 6th floor. The position is next to the Medina. I think it's one of the best hotels in chefchaouen price wise!!

I had a big room which i loved very much, I am in love with the terrace. The view was so amazing so peaceful. The breakfast there was completely amazing, we have taken amazing pics, breathtaking view. Totally worth the price and it was pretty close to medina.

Stayed at the annexe, great location, in a quiet spot of the Medina within a few minutes walk of the main square Place Outa El Hammam. Lady who cleaned the room did an excellent job and was very friendly. Owner/manager was very helpful and friendly. Wonderful views from the roof terrace. Room was a good size with efficient air-conditioning. Riad is an historic building as you would expect, but with modern touches and beautifully decorated. As with all riads steep steps and windows and doors opening on to a central light well. One thing to note is Google maps works in the medina, also I was given a map of the medina.

Casa Miguel is a beautiful house in the heart of Chefchaouen, but the best part of our stay was the AMAZING reception by the girls, who were so kind and attentive, making our stay more than comfortable. They even prepared special herbal teas for me and brought breakfast to my room as I was sick with a cold! They really added to the magic of our stay. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a range of traditional breakfast foods that filled us up right through the day!

Lovely place right in the middle of the Medina. Sana is such a wonderful host, she came to pick us up when we arrive, and guided us with helpful information during our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, with all the amenities described. The breakfast in the terrace was wonderful, and very filling, with plenty of options.

Everything was amazing from the location, cleanness, value and service. Perfect breakfast with a view!

Stayed two nights at the wonderful 17-room Lina Ryad & Spa (established in 2012) over Christmas. Our driver dropped us off near the handicrafts centre. If not for the “porters” from the riad, it would have been rather difficult to find the property on our own. As the name suggest, the property has a spa onsite as well as a pool which has to be reserved on hourly blocks. Service by the lovely staff cannot be faulted. We were treated very well with things explained clearly. The Moroccan breakfast was yummy and takes a lot of discipline to not overeat. It’s nice that the riad warms up the bread. Breakfast is served from 7-12! If eating in for dinner, we highly recommend the baby goat. We had room 5. Really nothing to complain. The room has the usual fridge, kettle, hair dryer, in-room safe. The TV works and we even found BBC News in English (channel 323) and Al Jezeera English (channel 92). WiFi was more than acceptable for our purpose. The property is not like other riads we have been to with the central courtyard and high ceiling. It is more modern with plenty of conveniences. The rooftop terrace affords a wonderful view of the city and for one to catch the brilliant sunset. Definitely recommend the property to anyone contemplating a stay in Chefchaouen.

This place was amazing. The service was remarkable from start to finish. Examples: - We asked for someone to meet us at the CTM bus terminal, and the Manager herself met us as we walked off the bus, she arranged the taxi, rode with us to the Medina Gate where we were met by a porter who took our three heavy bags and led us right to the place. - Lunch was prepared for us from scratch and was delicious. - We had the room on the 4th (top) floor (room #5) which was absolutely spotless and beautiful. - But the Rooftop Terrace was the unexpected surprise - the view was absolutely amazing, and was accessible from our living room doors. - In the evening we went to the lobby to relax and immediately mint tea and cookies appeared, at no charge and without asking. - The breakfast was freshly prepared for us and delicious. - We had the same service when we left - the porter carried our bags again, walked us out to the gate and got us a taxi. This was five star all the way. I highly recommend this to anyone staying in Chefchaouen. We almost extended our stay we liked it so much.

This is a really comfortable Riad that gave us such a warm welcome! The Riad sent men to come down to the edge of the Medina to meet us and collect our bags. They also carried our suitcases up to our room on the top and back down to the car park when we left. It’s in a great spot where you can walk around and lose yourself but get back with google maps! Breakfast was delicious with a selection of breads, savoury and sweet, yogurt, fresh fruit, and eggs served however you like them. We also had dinner at their restaurant and I had a delicious baby goat tagine. We had a couple Hammam too which was our first time - I’ve never felt so clean and my skin was so soft Excellent staff Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff are very gracious and go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Breakfast was delicious, fresh and served quickly. We took advantage of the Hammam and massage service and we’re so happy that we did. As others have mentioned, if you need help with your luggage, call ahead and they will send a porter to meet you. It seems like a long way up the road when you first arrive, but it’s actually just a five minute walk. The location is perfect for visiting shops, other restaurants, and taking a small walk up to the mosque. We highly recommend this ryad.

This is a comfortable and modern ryad in the beautiful medina of Chefchaouen. (No close by parking, so you'll have to walk for a few minutes to get there.) We had a comfortable bed, a good wi-fi connection and a great bath and shower. The hotel had a brief electrical problem during our stay and the very nice night manager went out of his way to make up for our inconvenience. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. There is a rooftop terrace with terrific views of the city. Highly recommended!

We stayed in a basic room. It was pretty much as the pictures from other travelers show. The room was spacious enough and clean. The beds were not too comfortable but it was fine for the price we paid. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the staff in the restaurant. The breakfast was typical of other breakfasts we had in Morocco, but with more of a selection. The pool was clean and the terrace was wonderful for relaxing. The location is perfect, right in the old town and provides easy access to shops, restaurants, and exploring the kasbah and winding streets with their beautifully painted blue buildings.

Right from the first moment I was met by the manager at the reception with a warm and friendly grating. The fantastic service did not stop there...our rooms were great fully ready and waiting for us and our bags were carried to the rooms. All the staff were very friendly and polite, nothing was any trouble. Facilities were amazing with a great pool with an amazing view of the rift mountains as a back drop, enough seating and pool side service. Great on site restaurants and a bar. My room had a fantastic view of chefcheauon and the surrounding town. Located perfectly for doing anything you like, from walks, shopping in the local madina (a must do activity ) which was fun and great prices. All the locals are friendly and helpful, the level of English language was great too. There was so much more to see I only wish I could of stayed longer. There's always next year! The good: Nice hotel just Outside of the medina so out of the hecticness. My room was facing the medina and car park that is Very busy and noisy, however with the windows closed, it wasn't a problem and i slept very well. The beds were very comfortable as were the pillows for me. The room was clean and was tidied each day. The housekeeping staff work hard and are great at their job so thankyou ladies. The staff on the whole were friendy and accommodating. Reception were very good at aiding me to extend my stay when fully booked on all search engines and they didn't think it was possible at first. So nice outcome for me. And the guys in the restaurant are friendly. The pool was nice and clean, saw it cleaned each day and the area again each evening. It was lovely and refreshing but most times unable to get near as it was very busy with families, fair enough. So try to use it early before the masses come! The not so bad: I paid for the breakfast twice, i wasn't enthralled with it and didn't get my monies worth as it were! but that's just personal preference to be fair. Lots of heavy stuff like pastries, breads. A variety of fruits and yoghurts, maybe museli or something, rather than all just sugared cereals and sweets. No bar serving alcohol anymore. The dirty carpet runners in the hallway of the rooms let you down though! Take them out and just have the tiles, it will appear much cleaner!

Perfect location. Amazing views of the mountains. The staff were relaxed, friendly and helpful. Food was very nice. The managers children running around teasing staff were hilarious. Nice clean swimming pool.

Clean, welcoming hotel right in the centre. They had fruit and water in the mini fridge for us. Staff was very friendly. The pool and terrace were amazing for hanging out with our kids with an incredible view of the area. Only downside was the room for 4 people was actually one bed and then we made beds for the kids on the couch. Ok if the kids are small but wouldn't work for older kids aged 10+. Would recommend this place!

Bed was comfortable, shower was working well. Everything was fine to have a restful night to recharge and start our trip the next day. Staff was friendly with restaurant recommendations, help with transport. Provided a nourishing breakfast with a nice view and fresh air at the rooftop. Enjoyed our stay here.

Everything was good, from the very beginning we were warmly welcomed. Said made sure the check-in was smooth and not tiring after our long and delayed bus trip. The whole staff is kind, smiling and open to help at any time. The room was beautiful, the beds comfortable. Delicious breakfasts were served on a terrace from which we had some incredible views. The location is of course perfect. Restaurants and stores available next to it.

The best thing was the guys at the reception, they were so kind and sweet and helpful, it left good feelings. The location is very useful, you can get there by car but it is steps from the medina. I took the apartment for the kitchen and I was able to find things in nearby shops. I felt safe and cared for there. The decoration was cute - like murals on the light wells and charming furniture. Wifi and tv were fine. Good hot water in the shower and good cleaning! The fridge wasnt working when I arrived but it was fixed the next day. I didnt have to do steps, it is ground floor.
