This is an amazing hotel. The location is excellent, in a very safe area, close to public transport and very easy to walk around to see the sights. The Chicago River Walk is across the road. Walking into the hotel lobby to be greeted by blazing fire in the fireplace after a chilly day exploring Chicago was just delightful; such a treat to sit by the fire in the lobby reading a book. The staff of L7 were exceptionally friendly and willing to assist with any question. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I was greeted by Alex on my arrival and he could not have been more accommodating and welcoming. Just one of the many wonderful staff working at L7. My room exceeded any expectation. I had a fantastic view over the river with a "little window seat". - great for watching passive river traffic or the twinkling lights of the Chicago skyline The room itself was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were luxurious. A welcoming (and delicious) cupcake was in my room when I arrived The added touch of a rejuvenating face mask was most unexpected and gratefully received and used. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel and I would absolutely stay there again.

We came to Chicago to attend the FabTech conference. I stayed at L7 Chicago by LOTTE with my daughter and we had an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, attentive, and truly made us feel at home. Ebony and Jason went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable, and the doormen team — Vincent and Antonio — were always so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our suite on the 12th floor was beautiful, spacious, and comfortable, with a stunning view of the city that made the stay even more memorable. The hotel itself is stylish, modern, and spotless, with great attention to detail in both the rooms and common spaces. The location was also ideal for exploring Chicago. Thanks to the amazing team at L7 Chicago by LOTTE, our trip to Chicago felt extra special. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, and my daughter and I are already looking forward to coming back! ❤️

Clean, quiet and spacious with a very central location. The staff were exceptional and friendly. The restaurant and bar great (especially the happy hour cocktails) with friendly bar staff and fabulous food. We stayed for a conference at The McCormick Conference centre which was easy to get to via bus in around 15-20 min. Coffee machine in room which was a plus.

I stay at L7 every time I come to Chicago. It’s the perfect hotel- a hot towel at check in, a facemask and slippers waiting for me in my room, spacious rooms with floor length mirrors and ample bathroom counter space. Great shower pressure. 24 hour, complimentary latte machine. The onsite restaurant, Perilla, is exceptional. I love their happy hour for delicious cocktails and small bites and their Korean breakfast in the mornings is a true experience! When I just want to stay in, they’ll deliver it to my door. The location- right on the river and close to shopping and restaurants can’t be beat. I’ve stayed here a half dozen times and my experience has been exceptional every time. Can not recommend this hotel enough.

This hotel is exemplary is every way. From the warm greetings and outstanding service from Antonio, Malcolm and Ebony to the chic and comfortable lobby, room and restaurant, we were delighted. The luxurious bed was a relief after a four-night stay the previous leg of our trip with a saggy mattress. Water pressure in the shower was great, and they have filtered tap water in the bathroom and at the 24/7 station in the lobby, so there are no plastic bottles — yay! We also loved the in-room coffee. We loved everything about the room, actually! We stayed here previously because it’s so close to the Chicago Theatre; keep it in mind if you’re seeing a show there. But it’s ideal for any activities. Valet parking is pricey ($69) but convenient, with in & out privileges. The location is unbeatable for public transit, too—just around the corner from the State & Lake L entrance and an easy bus ride to Lincoln Park and Navy Pier. We only had breakfast and a nightcap at the onsite restaurant, Perilla, but food, ambiance & service were excellent. The bartender made us a special mocktail with housemade Campari. However, there’s no shortage of restaurants and bars within walking distance if you want to explore, and it’s a quick L ride to the West Loop for an array of terrific choices. (I recommend Rose Mary.) The only caveat is that being so close to the L does yield noise on that side of the building, but I’m a sound sleeper and wasn’t bothered.

Good location - about two blocks from I-90/I-94, a few miles from The Loop. Very clean and well-maintained. High level of security. Large room, with comfortable beds, couch and desk. Great view of the city - floor-to-ceiling windows.All staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast included. Rooftop restaurant and bar with great views of the city. No self-parking - Valet parking only. But valet staff were very friendly and helpful. They retrieved our car quickly, and offered to help with loading/unloading onto baggage carts. In-and-out parking for the daily fee. This was our second visit to this hotel. We recommend it.

We had a nice stay here. It was clean and quiet, the staff was very friendly and helpful staff, it felt safe, good wifi, comfortable bed, nice workout facility, great rooftop lounge/bar/restaurant, and walking distance to Milwaukee Ave. It’s a $20 Lyft to other fun neighborhoods, but you can also walk, too. Nice location! The bottles of water and coffee in the room, and Granny Smith apples in the hallway, were a nice little touch. We will definitely consider it again!

Loved the room, very quiet and clean. Plenty of outlets for chargers and laptop. Mini fridge, coffee maker. Great desk area for working, nice livingroom area for relaxing. Breakfast better than most with plenty of options but would like longer hours. 9am is early to end breakfast when on vacation. Beautiful views from breakfast area. Nice view from 4th floor room.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Hyatt Place Wicker Park in Chicago in June 2025!!! I came to Chicago to celebrate my late husband's life on what would have been our 30th year wedding anniversary and was thrilled with the beautiful Hyatt Place at Wicker Park!!!! My husband always stayed at the Hyatt Place hotels because they are consistently first class, affordable, and conveniently located no matter where you travel. And, Hyatt Place Wicker Park was incredible!!! Everything first class: Clean, fresh hotel and room - beautifully decorated, incredible buffet breakfast, and the BEST Rooftop Patio and Bar!!!!!!! Just Wow!!!! Best hotel view of the Chicago Skyline no doubt!!!! Lastly, we were able to take the transit bus right outside of the hotel and it was so convenient and safe!! Thank you, Hyatt Place, you NEVER disappoint and can ALWAYS be trusted!!!!!! We will be back for more adventures!!!!! God Bless!!!!!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Place Wicker Park. First, the gym had an amazing selection of cardio equipment and free weights, and it was kept extremely clean with the nice touch of towels on all the cardio machines. Second, the mattress and pillows were extremely comfortable (I prefer a softer mattress and down pillow). Third, the breakfast selection had great variety (lots of hot items, cold items, and many types of milk for coffee). Lastly, the hotel restaurant/bar has great food and cocktails. I would happily stay here again, especially for the price, so don't change a thing!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile and it was an exceptional experience. It is our favorite hotel in Chicago. From the moment we walked into the elegant lobby, we were greeted by friendly staff. We were surprised with a complimentary upgrade. The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a great night's sleep. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to some of Chicago's top attractions. Overall, our stay was truly memorable thanks to the exceptional staff, luxurious accommodations, and outstanding location. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chicago.

A perfect location for our stay of 8 nights in Chicago. The hotel is in a pleasant neighbourhood, not too far from Michigan Avenue (Magnificent Mile area) and an easy walk to the beach. It was quite quiet and we could barely hear road noise - unlike friends who were in a hotel a little closer to the river. Our superior room (2109) was very clean and so comfortable! Water in the fridge every day was greatly appreciated. Our rate included breakfast and there was plenty of choice every day, so we were never bored. The breakfast (restaurant) staff were all very pleasant and a real credit to the hotel. We'd certainly choose Sofitel again if we were to return to Chicago for whatever reason.

My trip to Chicago was for a family event. However, right before we left for Chicago we found out my daughter, got into grad school and coincidentally later that day I got a text from Kyle at the hotel asking if we were celebrating anything during our stay. So of course I said my daughter just got into her #1 choice grad school and we are so excited, however we were coming for a family event. Well that got Kyle into action and he put together an amazing surprise for my daughter based on all her likes, color of the school she will be attending and even a flag of the school as a backdrop to a fun celebration in our room, which by the way was amazing because he upgraded us to a lovely suite. We could not have been more Excited by everything Kyle did. He was truly amazing and went above and beyond every step of the way. I also have to give a shout out to the bar manager who put together a bespoke cocktail for my daughter based on her love of peanut butter and chocolate! The drink tasted like a Reese's peanut butter cup. It was so unique and clever. They really made this stay so much more memorable And we will definitely come back. Thanks so much to Kyle!!

I come to Chicago every October for a conference. The food is fantastic. The wait staff (Jimmy and his crew!) are always amazing, friendly, kind and very attentive. Tea and coffee service is great. The bed is like literally... AHHHHMAZING. In fact, I had a friend who couldn't attend this year, and she texted me to ask me to lift the bed to see what type of mattress it is. The location is fantastic to the Magnificent Mile and lots of great shopping and dining. Go to Lou Malnatis for pizza!! Room views are also amazing. Hotel includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion all included in non-travel sizes affixed to the wall. Stand up shower and bathtub included. Great bathroom lighting. Just overall a great property! Oh, and a bluetooth speaker so you can hook up your phone to play on the speaker!! Well done, as always, Sofitel!!

The hotel is beautiful. The staff at the front desk was kind and nice to chat with while we were getting checked in. We were given a free drink at the bar (the bar is top notch with an amazing Creme Brulee). Our room was super comfortable with a great view of the city. The next morning we had brunch at the restaurant CDA. The ricotta waffles were to die for! My wife and I loved this hotel and look forward to returning soon!

Enjoyed my stay at Sable, Curio Hotel by Hilton. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out. The front desk team — Carlos, Ernest, Nadia, and Yesenia — were welcoming, professional, and always ready to help. The housekeeping staff and the coffee shop team were equally wonderful, making my stay feel seamless and comfortable. The room was a highlight. The bathroom had a spa-like feel with wood grain tile and high ceilings, creating a relaxing atmosphere. The bedding was soft and cozy, perfect after a day of exploring. The location is unbeatable. Being right on Navy Pier meant I could enjoy fireworks, live music, and easy access to shops, restaurants, and bars — all just steps away. Overall, this hotel blends excellent service, modern comfort, and a vibrant location. I would absolutely recommend Sable and will look forward to returning on my next trip to Chicago.

Absolutely loved my stay at The Sable Hotel at Navy Pier! The location is unbeatable — safe, quiet, and incredibly walkable. I felt completely at ease exploring the area, whether it was a peaceful morning stroll along the pier or a late-night walk after dinner. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and offers stunning views of the water and skyline. You’re just steps away from great shopping and a variety of dining options, both on the pier and nearby in downtown Chicago. Whether you’re looking for a quick bite or a sit-down meal, there’s something for everyone. I highly recommend The Sable for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient stay in the heart of the city!

From the time we checked in until we left it was one of the best vacation experiences. The hotel is located on the Navy Pier with windows facing Lake Michigan with spectacular views. The pier has everything you need! Great restaurants and bars. We were fortunate to be here for two fireworks shows. The architectural boat two was well worth it! Big Bus On/Off was also worth it as each stop is close to the sights you want to see! The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. Everyone of the employees was smiling and welcoming. From the time we checked in with Ethan who was wonderful and made us feel special. Always there to help. And Diana who was cleaning a floor, what a wonderful ambassador. Ernest the Bellman, a smile and kind words when I met him! The food at Lyrica was outstanding as was our waiter Roger! We asked for him each time we ate there. Service was exceptional! And a stop at Chef Ciccio in the food court area for a Chicago beef which included directions on how to eat it was amazing! Everything about this hotel and location was exceptional! I've named some staff, however, everyone was GREAT!

We stayed at The Sable Hotel at Navy Pier for a girls’ weekend in Chicago, and it was the perfect choice! I came into town on a Friday with a friend, her daughter, and my own daughter to see the Dua Lipa concert, and the location could not have been more convenient. Being right on Navy Pier gave us easy access to restaurants, Millennium Park, and sightseeing—and we were able to get to the concert at United Center without any trouble. The staff went out of their way to be kind and welcoming, which really set the tone for our stay. The kids loved starting the mornings with smoothies from the hotel, while the adults appreciated the excellent coffee at the restaurant. Our room had a stunning view of both the city and the water, and the kids especially enjoyed watching the boats go by. On top of all that, we accidentally left behind an item for one of the girls after checkout, and the staff graciously went out of their way to find it and help us get it mailed back. That kind of extra care really stood out and made us feel valued as guests. This is a wonderful hotel for families, especially with tweens, and it still felt like a stylish and comfortable getaway for adults too. We would definitely stay here again!

Had a great two nights here. Views are incredible, rooms and bathrooms are modern and spacious, location is easy to get an uber in and out of, and we were provided exceptional customer service by Mayte at the front desk. She was friendly and efficient, and went out of her way to make our stay the best it could be. (Thanks for showing us where the water bottle filling station was!) It was the perfect location for this trip-- walkable to everything, but with a lake view that made you feel miles away.

I’ve stayed at a couple of different properties in this area as it’s close to the office but this is the first time I’ve stayed here. Wasn’t expecting this to be anything other than just another Residence Inn where the rooms are spacious and there is not much else. Pleasantly surprised. The room was as expected – spacious, refreshed daily, clean and comfortable. The bar was a nice surprise and they also served food in the evenings which after a long flight and slow journey from the airport to the hotel was very much welcome. Food was good, fresh and tasty – not always a given. The bar area was empty except for one other guest so a great place to chill out and catch-up on a beer and email. Breakfast was also very good…great choice, plenty of space to sit and all very tasty. My only one complaint, and I appreciate I’m being picky, was the coffee in the room. Whatever that was supposed to be, coffee it was not. I’m not expecting artisan coffee beans from some exotic location, but drinkable would have been nice. Coffee aside, would stay here again as this delivers the basics well.

We stayed at the Residence Inn Downtown Loop for 3 nights during a USA trip! First time in Chicago which we absolutely loved by the way. A big part of this was staying at this hotel, from check in to check out we had an amazing time. Staff were wonderful without exception - special shout out to Reuben who was super friendly, professional and helpful helping to arrange our transfer back to O’Hare airport. The location was smack bang in downtown, easy to walk to main attractions. 7/11 downstairs and all named shops nearby. Nail salons and eateries all around. Breakfast included was of a high quality and was spacious and calm which was nice. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was efficient and of a high standard. Guest laundry was convenient. Just a great stay and would certainly be back again when in Chicago! Thank you!

The property was very clean with a welcoming and helpful staff. We traveled in for Lollapalooza and expected it to be a little loud but there was blissful quiet and comfortable beds. We got a nice view and had a very good breakfast. We got into the city early and rooms weren’t ready, but we were able to store our bags at the hotel and explore the city. They called us as soon as a room was available. Also they offered guests who were needing to change outfits a clean restroom to change before they stored their bags. Clean and updated rooms. Very nice public spaces. Full breakfast everyday was not the best tasting or very hot but great variety. Worked well for my friend who is vegan and I can't eat grains, yet there was something for all of us to eat. Coffee at breakfast was normal strength and not weak dirty dishwater. Staff were friendly but not overly effusive (which makes me crazy). There's yummy water infused with fruit in the lobby that we drank every time we came and went. There is a 7-11 downstairs which is super convenient and the attached restaurant called Roanoke is quite good with nice servers. Convenient location about 10-15 minute walk to the Cultural Center and the AIC. Very good bargain for our winter girls' long weekend.

Brilliantly situated in the heart of the Downtown Loop, the Residence Inn is genuinely stylish and perfect for a city break. Rooms are spacious and well equipped: beds and pillows are really comfortable and the bathrooms are very modern with a range of good toiletries. Really courteous and helpful staff at check in and a superb breakfast. Whole place has a luxurious but easy going vibe.

My Sister and I have DEFINITELY placed Hyatt House Chicago/Medical District on the top of our Chicago places to stay!!! Everything from the room layout to the staff was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We had to come to Chicago to be with our dad who is hospitalized at Cook County/John Stroger’s hospital, so we searched for places near. Hyatt House is literally across the parking lot from the hospital, so location wise was perfect. We entered our room which was VERY clean and spacious for two. There was plenty of storage space and a small kitchen area that included a sink and stove top. We are a little germ cautious so we usually bring our own cleaning supplies. We didn’t need to use them (we still ran a bleach wipe on the knob’s and toilet for peace of mind), this room was very clean. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They showed us how to get to the hospital, and when we came back they were very caring about how our visit went. The restaurant and bar on the 2nd floor are nice additions. You don’t have to just sit in your room if you don’t want to leave out. D.J you were one of our favorite parts of our stay if not our favorite part!!! He greeted us every time he saw us, he was attentive and helpful. We simply mentioned towels and he had them ready for us when we returned. He asked about our father’s health and his concern for our current mind state every time and it truly felt genuine. We are truly grateful for you and hope to see you out next stay!!

Within walking distance to the United Center where we attended a concert. Clean, comfortable rooms, hotel bar/restaurant had a good burger which was a convenient dinner as we had a short amount of time to eat after arriving/before the concert. Great continental breakfast and friendly staff! Safe location in the medical district.

The hotel was very clean and easy to navigate. Room was a perfect size for a 3 day stay for 2 people, and was very clean and user friendly. Parking seemed to be an issue when booking online but we were able to park in the hotel lot and not the hospital lots. I could see the lot when exiting my room through the day and was able to make sure my car was safe and sound. The lot is not very big at all so I can see how it would fill up quickly. The hotelwas in a very convenient location (10 minute walk to the United Center, 10 to 15 min uber rides to other areas/restaurants) and was not hard to find for someone not familiar with the area. The incidentals hold that they put on my account at check in dropped off immediately at checkout ( other hotels have taken forever to remove the charge so this was a nice suprise), and the parking fee was billed at checkout without issue. Even though it is next to several medical facilities, the room was fairly quiet with the occasional plane or helicopter passing over, but nothing overly disturbing.

Fantastic stay, may seem a little out of town but the Blue CTA line takes you direct from O'Hare to the hotel and once there the pink line is also a couple of mins walk away, giving access to most of the city. Medical District felt very safe to walk to and from train and arena. Reception Staff were brilliant and super helpful. Breakfast staff were great but a little understaffed. The rooms were spacious and clean with everything you would need. We had a Hyatt House room with kitchenette which was very handy. The bar had great food but take aways were across road so again really handy. United Arena was a 10 min walk away from hotel so went to Blackhawks and Bulls Games, great fun. Ideal location for a city break for us unless you want to be able to walk out of your door straight into the hustle and bustle of Downtown. Would definitely recommend and we will stay again.

Very cozy and clean. Not very spacious but really quiet. Great View of the United Center and really code to Downtown and great places to eat. Very clean and felt very secure and safe. Very nice shower and the heat/air conditioner was up graded and worked properly

Everyone from the front desk to the bar tender is nice. Everyone there is extremely friendly. They honored early check-in for $25 which isn't bad at all. I was able to get a room at 11am. They have a happy hour 6-7pm. No restaurant on-site though. Very close location to many restaurants and the river walk area. Free Breakfast there is good and clean. The hot breakfast selection was fresh. Wish they had make your own waffles that would be a plus. I would come back here again. I wished they would clean the rooms everyday though. Rooms are spacious and clean and did not have any foul odors. Parking is crazy here $75 a night though. Other than that no major complaints.

Staff was amazing, great attitude, friendly, very helpful. Best hotel on our trip having stayed in four different places. Breakfast was tasty, lots of options in comparison to many places that have included breakfast. Staff was kind enough to keep refilling and keeping doors open as people kept coming even 30 minutes past closing time which was 9am on weekdays. No one kicked you out or refused to get you something that was missing. This place believes in customer service! Enjoyed the lobby area, the views, and the 5 to 15 minute walk to so many sights. We arrived early and they held our luggage in a secure room, which was very helpful. Really appreciated the water bottles that could be requested at any time for no additional charge. Helped us keep hydrated. Bar area/ handwashing station in room with microwave and refrigerator were very helpful and convenient. Also great gym on the top floor with a beautiful view. Washers and dryers also available to run a cycle for a small fee, they sell detergent at the front desk. All seemly quite organized here at this hotel!

This place rocks. First I was greeted by Rachel. Very knowledgeable professional and understanding of my groups needs. They worked with me and my group in getting us rooms as close together as possible. The lobby staff were professional understanding and above all patient. The lobby was busy but they greeted and handled it quickly. The staff were well groomed and personable. The lobby was clean and very inviting. I travel a lot and this is my best accommodations to date. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. Hot food was hot and cold items were cold. It is a very family friendly setting. I noticed a lot of help given to patrons that I thought was above and beyond. Kids spill stuff and the staff was quick to clean it up. Ariel and Noorson and Crisiel and Kenny worked as a team to keep the food replenished and fresh and available. They were clean and worked safely. Shout out to the Lobby staff and the restaurant staff. Security was tight as well

Family stayed here for four nights visiting Chicago. The room was clean and spacious enough (one bedroom suite) and the location was ideal to catch public transportation (5 minutes to Red Line, even less for bus to Navy Pier). Staff was friendly and attentive. River North neighborhood (along with the rest of downtown) felt quite safe despite what you might hear about the city. Only once did I feel any threat at all (accosted once by houseless person). As for the quirks…there is an elevator just to get you from street to lobby. Only one was working and it was shaky. Elevator to get to room also felt shaky but it worked. Breakfast…lots of selection each day but the quality varied. Coffee was strong but acidic. Sofa bed in room. Son slept in that and claimed it was comfortable. Must be nice to be young as in no way I would have thought it was comfortable. Housekeeping did not show on the designated day. They claimed we had DND on our door but we removed at 1130 to go to Wrigley Field. They did remedy with a quick resupply of towels and trash takeout Honestly I would give this 3.5 if I could but I will round up based on effort and location

It's a very good hotel at a convenient location in downtown Chicago. We enjoyed the beautiful city view from our room at 21st floor and in the fitness gym at 27th floor. The buffet breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food like bread, bagels, eggs, cereals, fruits, and a variety of hot & cold drinks. We also enjoyed the self-service drinks, such as cucumber water, coffee, and hot cocoa at night and before breakfast. The lobby area was quite spacious and comfortable with the artificial fireplace, and lots of coffee tables and chairs. Overall, we had a wonderful time at the hotel, and would like to stay at this hotel again!

This is a very nice and comfortable hotel. It is located within easy walking distance to Millennium Park and even Navy Pier. (If you are more into restaurants and bars, I'd suggest the north side of the river, though.)The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant Hoyts was nice, and the food that we had there was delicious, (try the cinnamon roll waffle!) although pricey. As a Platinum TravelPass member, I was given a voucher for breakfast for each day, and I mistakenly assumed that I could use it to order breakfast in the restaurant from the menu. That's what I'm used to as a Marriott BonVoy Platinum member. However, when I presented the voucher after breakfast on day 1, I was told it was only good for a breakfast of croissant, fruit, and oatmeal so I had to pay the $70+ incl tip for our breakfast for 2. Just be aware of that. Also, valet parking is $75/day, which I WAS aware of. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the elevators were fast with very little wait. The fitness center was nice and clean, and the cooler of eucalyptus face cloths was a nice touch.

It's the perfect location, right on the river front! Our room was on the 34th floor facing the river and offered amazing views, especially since this was our first time in Chicago it made a great impression. The girl at the reception when we checked in was great, super friendly, and very welcoming! The room and the hotel met our expectations and didn't disappoint. Clean, great decor, comfortable beds, and fluffy towels. Daily housekeeping was greatly appreciated as there is nothing better than coming to a clean and made-up room after a day of exploring. The coffee machine and daily coffee supply refills were welcomed by the coffee drinker in the family. Also, we loved the gym, which is a full-size gym and face towels, and the cold refill water station at the gym was great! We had a great stay, I highly recommend and will stay there again.

I have only positive things to say about the Royal Sonesta in downtown Chicago. The location was perfect - it was an easy walk to almost everything we wanted to do and the couple of things it wasn't, the train stations were close by. The view was unbeatable - we had a river view. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. We got housekeeping service every day - and that seems to be a rarity these days. And every person on the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. We did not eat at the restaurant, so we can't speak to that. By far, this was the best hotel experience we have had in a long, long time. I will not hesitate to look at the Sonesta brand for any future vacations and definitely will choose this hotel if we are ever back in Chicago.

We had a corner room on the 10th floor overlooking the Chicago River and the views were fantastic! The room was large enough to comfortably fit both queen beds and a small bar top table near the windows. The room was clean and updated, staff very friendly and accommodating. Location could not have been better, many attractions and restaurants are walkable, including Ocean Prime two doors down Wacker Dr. Valet parking available but pricey, still better than navigating a public parking garage at night. Bar and restaurant (best for breakfast and light meals) onsite. Doormen friendly but not overbearing. We’ll be back!

The location of the hotel was convenient and safe. The room amenities were perfect; the bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower was warm and had good pressure, the toiletries were satisfactory, the tasty coffee station and refrigerator functioned well, as did the iron and hairdryer. The double walls of windows on our corner room made the room rife with natural light and gave it a cool ambiance at night. The one downside is that the shower door base and bottom few inches on the side had no seal so the shower leaked abundantly with a long shower by my teens. I tend to blame the teens for this one, except that proper shower design would avoid this even with long showers.

Very nice hotel, we had the 1 bedroom Spa Suite which had a jacuzzi tub and separate walk in shower in the bathroom and a living area separate from the bedroom.

Staff was friendly, and I enjoyed the jacuzzi tub. I also loved the added security on the hotel front door and elevator with the key card.

Instead of going on a cruise my wife & l decided on a Staycation for our anniversary the staff specifically Gabby was exceptional Our rm? Was phenomenal. Divided area. Great view. King size bed. Spacious Jacuzzi & shower. We had access to great restaurants and when we dined in we enjoyed good food and great service ( Edward was fantastic. We definitely would recommend

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Royal Sonesta River North, which is located a short distance from all the best sights. We walked everywhere, but the staff is happy to help if you need transportation. The property is hip, nicely decorated, and offers a fitness center and beautiful roof-top deck. You can enjoy a hot cup of regular coffee or tea each morning in the lobby/common room, where you can chill on the comfy chairs or warm up in front of the fire place. We were lucky enough to get a spa suite, which has a jacuzzi, sitting area, coffee pot/pods, fridge, and floor to ceiling windows that provide an amazing view of the city's diverse architecture! Every member of the staff catered to our needs and made us feel welcome. The culture of excellent, friendly, customer service is apparent and is exemplified by Antoine, who gave us a “wow” customer experience! He was genuinely interested in helping us enjoy the property and Chicago, a truly great city! He also gave us some great tips on places to go and to eat. We appreciate all of it! Hotel is at a great location for sightseeing. Nearest subway station is in the next block. The hotel was classy and clean with a nice lobby beside entrance and a terrace on the top floor. My room was very large, clean and stylish and as a corner room had windows on two walls with nice street view. Bed was perfect for me. The hotel restaurant served me with the best guacamole and smash burger ever. I was served by Edgar who was fantastic and chef Alfonso prepared me an amazing culinary experience. Shaundra from the hotel service staff was a true gem. She was very friendly and attentive wanting to assure my expectations were fulfilled. She provided me with a capsule coffee maker and arranged a birthday present to my room with card, balloon, a bottle of wine and chocolate box. Front desk staff was friendly and always greeted or wished a good day when I was going to see the city. Dining in the evening is possible in the bar which felt comfy. In overall the hotel compared to others with the same pricing within US has earned it's every rating star rightfully. Few defects and inconvenience were that pool was out of service and nearby fire station and busy streets made noise through the night.

We had a fantastic stay at the Mag Mile Residence Inn. The room was exceptionally spacious, spotless, and very comfortable – perfect for our family trip. The small kitchen was impressively well-equipped, which was especially helpful as we were traveling with a baby. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was large and clean. The hotel also has a stylish and welcoming lobby, which was a great space to relax and spend time with family who were in town for a wedding. The gym was another highlight – well-equipped with quality machines and free weights. And the location couldn’t have been better: just steps from the Magnificent Mile and a short walk from the river and many of Chicago’s top attractions. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for space, comfort, and convenience in the heart of the city.

Beautiful property located a few feet away from the Magnificent Mile. Plenty of dining options, shopping and entertainment. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. Clean and well-maintained. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is included and well beyond your basic continental style. Plenty of options with warm items (reminded me of the delicious breakfasts you would find at all-inclusive resorts down south). The restaurant located in the hotel is also worth mentioning. The culinary options are wonderful and well priced. All in all, an amazing comfortable stay and would return in a heartbeat.

The location of this property was perfect for our stay. All staff was nice and friendly. The rooms were spacious and amazing. Breakfast options were good and plenty of options to choose from. Bar and restaurant staff were friendly shout out to Lauro and the restaurant manager for taking care of us!

The reception is on the 20th floor and concierge service at street level. Concierge staff could have been more welcoming with a smile on entry and exit. There is no room service - you order and then collect yourself from the bar. After a long flight from the UK, this felt exhausting but the gentleman in the restaurant greeted me on arrival and got me seated and the bar staff were very attentive and friendly as I waited only a matter of minutes for a very delicious salmon meal. Breakfast was complimentary and had lots of options in a spacious room overlooking the city. My room had a kitchen and microwave and full cutlery/crockery etc which was unexpected but welcome as I could retreat into my room after a busy day and relax with some snacks etc

Kudos to the Front Office Manager, Mr. Andrew Mroweic-Barnhart who greeted me opon my arrival and others were exceptionally courteous! Thank you all! 😍😍 The spacious, room has a beautiful street view, clean and crisp linens, smart room technology, functionally-situated lighting, a comfy bed and furniture. appliances, utensils, etc. The 20th Floor has a fantastic view of the architecture surrounding the hotel location. Spas, food, luxury and other shopping, and the chicago River are conveniently located close to the hotel. I slept very well like I do at home! All the I never had breakfast, so I cannot comment on that. I rate this hotel ambiance at 10 stars, even though it was a one-night stay. I will return.

The @SwissotelChi was amazing from start to finish, brilliant location with easy access to all major tourist spots as well as shopping and walking. Check in was very efficient, staff amazingly helpful. Jean, Lydia and Juan make our trip so special with advice, help and information. The room we had was absolutely stunning with superb views over the city, the river and the lake. Stunning setting. Room had everything we needed and nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Room staff, restaurant staff, bar staff, reception staff....all staff were superb and made my first trip to Chicago amazingly special. Everything was very clean and tidy and the room was spotless. A quiet but very acessible location and superb value for money. We did the architecture river tour which is a must and we went with @shorelinesightseeing which was very informative and entertaining. The history and information was amazing. Well worth the money and a great experience. Lots of walking , Michigan Avenue down under lake shore drive to the beach on Lake Michigan is definitley worth the walk. We had 2 superb breakfasts @eggysdinner which is very close to the hotel ...huge portions. Dinner highlights include @MingHincuisine which was brilliant, @gordonstinytaco was great for dinner.

It was amazing experience . we booked double bed lake side view room but it wasnt available when we reached so they upgrade it to suit the surprise was it was lake view and river view the best ever view breathtaking we enjoyed our stay for 2 nights thanks to lydia at the reciption she was very friendly and helpful she was very sweet. the hotel has the best location on the river side the rooms are modern very clean and well decorated .

Excellent customer service by the employees. The wonderfully helpful woman at registration helped me book a room at the hotel when most sites were sold out. When I arrived late and hungry and there was a large party at the bar, she took me around the side and arranged for me to give my food order to the bartender before the kitchen closed. Michael who works coffee and breakfast in the bar went above and beyond each of the 3 mornings I was there. Very kind and helpful staff. Downsides were no complimentary bottles of water in the room and powder creamer for coffee at a hotel at this level. No coffee available from 6 to 6:30 am in bet free coffee at 6 and coffee for purchase at 6:30. The parking garage doesn’t have an elevator on level 6, requiring guests to haul their luggage up flights of stairs. The garage is extremely narrow and difficult to self park.

If you want to really enjoy your stay in Chicago, the Swissôtel should be at the top of your list! I’ve stayed at numerous downtown hotels over the years; however, this was my first time staying at the Swissôtel. It will definitely be my go-to for future visits. We recently enjoyed a short family vacation, and we were all blown away by the outstanding customer service, perfect location, breathtaking views from our rooms, and the incredible dining experiences crafted by Dan McGee and his team at The Palm restaurant. Every interaction we had was warm and personable. The wonderful Bellman was a true lifesaver, kindly showing us how to use the elevator to access the different levels on Wacker Drive instead of navigating all those steps. The Bartender in the lounge even made my favorite cocktail—though it wasn’t on the menu—and it was absolutely perfect! We also appreciated the thoughtful personal touches from our Room Attendants, which didn’t go unnoticed. I’ve never experienced dinner service as exceptional as what we had at The Palm hotel restaurant; we’re still talking about the unbelievable quality of food we enjoyed. To top it all off, the panoramic views of Lake Michigan, Navy Pier, and the city skyline from our beautiful hotel room were simply unbeatable. If you can stretch your budget, it’s absolutely worth it!

...stay at Swissôtel Chicago! My husband and I recently celebrated our first anniversary week here. The excellent customer service began even before we arrived. I mentioned, when confirming our reservation, that it was our anniversary. Jean T. got a little intel and arranged a sparkly, chocolatey treat with room service before our stay was over. He also confirmed our request to be on the highest floor with a view of some water. When we arrived, there was a little issue with the reservation/confirmation, but Rika checked us in with a smile, and she and her team leader upgraded our room to a panoramic view...the room was in the corner point and we could watch the boats up and down the Colorado River AND Lake Michigan. Beautiful all times of the morning, afternoon and night! The bed was comfortable, shower water pressure and temperature was great, food down in The Palm was delicious, and our housekeeping staffperson was also friendly and helpful and kept our room refreshed each day. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a river view suite. The room was very spacious and clean. Water bottles were provided daily which was great as we were visiting during a heat wave with temperatures over 100 Fahrenheit. A $25 credit was provided each day to be used after 5pm at any of the 3 restaurants. We used our credit towards appetizers and a drink at Big Bar each evening. Service was great and appetizers were tasty and fresh. Location is perfect for walking to Riverwalk, Michigan Ave (Magnificent Mile), and the orange line on the L train. Our room was quiet and the hotel was welcoming, comfortable, and clean. We took off 1 star due to some staining on the ceiling tiles in our room's bathroom. However, the bathroom was sparkling clean and housekeeping is wonderful. This is not a luxury hotel, but service, location, room, cleanliness, and bar were all amazing. We would definitely return!

Amazing stay, the nicest workers, great lounge. We stayed for couple of nights and had the best experience. Every single person who works there was beyond nice. The room was beautiful and very very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets so crispy that I wanted to stay in bed all day. We had CAA which gives you access to the lounge and complimentary breakfast. The lounge was amazing, the snacks were yummy from homemade cookies and granola bars to nuts, chips, etc. From 5-9 pm there were appetizers that actually could serve as a dinner - arancini, butternut squash soup, roasted vegetables, cheese and veggie platters. Also the drinks were $6. Glenda and Candace were so nice The breakfast buffet was also fantastic. The hotel is in the perfect location right by the river walk and so convenient for sightseeing. We will be back

Our family of 4 enjoyed our stat at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. We felt the price was better than other hotels and commensurate with the location, view, service, amenities and cleanliness. It is not a luxury experience but the room was clean, beds were comfortable and the service throughout the hotel was very good. It is also a very convenient location downtown and walkable to almost everything you want to do in Chicago. We were thankful to have on-site dining options for dinner after dark when we began to feel it wasn't as safe to be walking the streets. The valet parking is expensive (as it is everywhere) but very convenient and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay again and recommend.

We had an incredible stay at Hyatt Regency Chicago. The entire staff was wonderful. Breakfast at the American Craft Kitchen was phenomenal. They had everything you could imagine for breakfast. We opted for the buffet and the food was so fresh. My daughters really enjoyed the donuts and the made to order omelette was delicious. We were in town to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had the best weekend thanks to the wonderful experience at this hotel. The location was perfect, a lot of the sites we wanted to see were within walking distance and for those things that weren’t we took the bus as there was a very convenient stop across the street. Our view of the harbor was beautiful. The rooms were modern and the bathroom was spacious. We will definitely return to Hyatt Regency Chicago for our next trip to the Windy City.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, bars and restaurants available at the hotel were amazing with some great views of the city at Big Bar! Our room was so modern and big. Bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. There was a couch to lounge on as well ! The valet parking was outstanding and accommodating ! These guys were a joy ! The location is perfect right by Michigan avenue and across from the River. Walking distance to a lot of main attractions , shopping and restaurants! Highly recommend and will absolutely stay here again!

We stayed here with our two young kids and had a really enjoyable experience. The hotel is super clean, modern, and well maintained, and we always felt safe, both in and around the property. The location is fantastic it’s within walking distance to many of Chicago’s main attractions, and it was easy to catch a Lyft or other rideshare when we needed to go farther out. We even went to a Chicago Sky game (took a Lyft there and back) and a Cubs game we took a Lyft to Wrigley and the train back, and it all felt very safe and manageable, even with young kids. The complimentary breakfast was a nice bonus, especially when traveling as a family. It does get busy in the mornings, and the selection was the same each day, but it was still convenient and appreciated. This hotel also has coin laundry share with 2 other hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful, and overall the hotel provided a comfortable, family friendly base for exploring the city. We’d absolutely consider staying here again on our next trip to Chicago.

We really liked the location, vibe of the hotel, ease of getting checked in and out, and the room was nice and clean. We drove so pulled up in the alley way next to the hotel and they allowed us 15 minutes to check in and drop things off before we parked. The person there was very friendly. Loved that there was a Dohm sound machine as that’s what I use at home and it was a pleasant surprise. The shower was very powerful which was fantastic! Body wash, shampoo, and container in the showers. I never use those but did this time. They exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was very good with many options. The hotel was very clean and safe. All the staff that I encountered was very friendly. I enjoyed having the lights from the buildings in the evening. I loved my view from my bed. So appreciative that our view wasn’t a brick wall. We have had many brick wall views in the past.

The rooms are spacious, the beds very comfortable, overall cleanliness satisfactory. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect location in the city, near many restaurants and bars, and the river walk. Could use some cheese and cold cuts at the breakfast buffet.

We had a delightful two-night stay at Hyatt Place Chicago/River North! From the moment we checked in until our departure, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and immaculate, with all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to great dining and attractions. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, providing a great start to our days. We were genuinely impressed with the attentiveness of the staff who made sure our stay was memorable. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Chicago!

The rooms were nice, the staff was great, and the breakfast was good. I was disappointed that there wasn’t a hottub to warm me up after a cold outdoor football game, and I wish the rooms had microwaves, but I’d still stay there again.

One of the best hotel stays and experiences we have had! The staff was exceptional, everything was so clean and well maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable and there was no weird smell that seems to be with so many hotels! They were able to accommodate our family and the early check in when half of our our party flew in. The hot breakfast buffet had plenty of options for the kids, my wife and I! They keep it fully stocked and warm the entire time for breakfast! Overall amazing experience will definitely be our new go to in Chicago area when traveling or visiting museums! The city is only 15 minutes!

The king room was large with a sitting area, closet, refrigerator, coffee maker, ice bucket...... basically anything you could need! VERY clean with a fresh scent. The bed and PILLOWS were very cozy. The blackout shades worked well. After a long flight, it was delightful to take a hot shower and sleep in a comfortable dark room. Ahhh...... zzzz BONUS: there are several restaurants that will deliver. The helpful gal at the front desk gave me several brochures when I asked who delivered. I had Lou Malnati's delivered very quickly- would recommend! Of the MANY hotels in this complex close to Midway, this was the least expensive. DEFINITELY the best deal around!

Very clean, inviting, and staff was friendly. Check-in was quick and rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was decent. I would just recommend going early if you can while food is warm. I think they had a microwave to heat stuff up, but breakfast was decent. They had a variety of options and a variety of drink options that are not offered in other places I have stayed. A Starbucks was built in as well which was wonderful. seating wasn’t an issue either. Quiet and relaxing. Would definitely stay again.

I like it was quite on my floor, it was clean modern and the ladies was very nice, help with everything needed to stay extra night, and was able to book with them at desk down stairs on day I was supposed to check out” with my discount and did not have to move rooms this was so comfortable and convenient to stay extra day for work, I would be looking forward to coming back, breakfast was amazing, I was tired most nights after working did not want to run out in cold” and the free parking right at front of property” best ever

The receptionist at arrival went above and beyond, really friendly and helpful. All the other staff I interacted with, be it the housekeepers, breakfast staff, as well as the other receptionists were also excellent. The area is nice and location is very convenient, close to Navy Pier, the Bean/Art Institute, and public transportation. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable, I liked the fresh self-made waffles and the coffee was excellent. Finally, the hotel has a pool that's on the small side, but enjoyable. A sauna/stream room would really enhance the pool/gym area if the hotel decided to add that feature. Overall, I'd recommend the hotel with confidence.

This is the 3rd time that our agency EFMM has chosen this hotel as the home base for the fashion models and staff working at the Merchandise Mart. I have not received one complaint from anyone of our group regarding the hotel. The rooms are beautiful, well maintained and supplied, very clean with exceptionally comfortable beds. The housekeeping staff are very kind and quick to supply all room needs. The breakfast hours are until 10AM and and the full breakfast is delicious each day. there is also a free full coffee and tea bar available 24 hours. Last but not least I must give special mention to the front desk staff. They are not only helpful but make a special effort to know you by name. My daughter and I were greeted by name when we walked thru the door! I have greatly appreciated Jody, Bella, Arthur, Yolo, Brent and Charlene. This hotel is very blessed to have them as employees as they are very professional and knowledgeable as well as truly personable. I truly will look forward to our return here next year.

This was the nicest hotel I have stayed in, in a HOT minute. It was super clean looked super upscale for how inexpensive the rooms are. The staff was super welcoming and nice. The free breakfast was superb. From the fluffiest waffles to the delicious scrambled eggs, plus they would change some of the breakfast items in order for us to not get tired of having the same thing over and over. I also appreciated that we could get hot tea and hot coffee whenever and that these items were always availabile all day and night. Additionally the soap/bodywash smelled AMAZING. My one and only complaint is that the water preassure for the shower wasn't to my liking, but thats just personal preference. Overall it was beautiful and quite lovely.

This will be my go to hotel from this point on when in Chicago. The staff, from reception, to valet services, to housekeeping, to breakfast services were amazing. Everyone was so kind and helpful, they made you feel like family. It is w/in walking distance of Navy pier, shopping venues and restaurants. The rooms are spacious, the hotel is family friendly, it’s clean and well maintained.

Been staying here for many years, I really really really wish there was a way to have a jacuzzi/ hot tub somewhere I do love the safe feeling of the area and the fact that it’s attached to the McCormick place where the auto show is it’s super convenient and parking ramps are convenient as well, especially the fact that they are oversized parking ramps and can accommodate taller vehicles many times I have a high rough conversion van/full size suv and accommodates nicely!

I was staying at this Hyatt-Regency to be near Soldier Field for the AC/DC concert on 5/24. Upon check-in, guest services superstar Tony granted me an early toom check-in at 1pm, then voluntarily discovered that I was a Hyatt Elite rewards guest and upgraded my room to a 30th Floor King room with a perfect view of the Chicago skyline and Lake Michigan. Tony also provided two complimentary bottles of water for my one night. That extra service touch after a long night prior and an awaiting 240 mile drive back the next morning really helped. Courteous guest services, fast elevators, easy self parking, beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, warm shower with perfect water pressure, clean, convenient skywalk to McCormick Place,.close proximity to Soldier Field (0.7 miles), plenty of taxi access, close proximity to train transportation. Highly Recommend!

It’s an excellent hotel! Very comfortable, clean, spacious. Features a nice gym + swimming pool The views to the city were amazing! (South tower, north side view, 29th floor for me made it) I didn’t try the breakfast, so no comments there. The restaurants just in the ground floor were very good and good prices. The mini market offers a good variety of things. Connected to the expo from the inside. I went for the marathon and the hotel organized a free shuttle bus to the start line (or close to, in fact) as the hotel is around 2,5km away from it.

I had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago. It’s a very nice and quiet hotel, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The lobby was clean and welcoming, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel also offers a wide range of amenities that made my stay even more comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place in Chicago this April for the ABA Tech Show, and it was a fantastic experience for my family and me. The hotel’s location, being directly connected to the McCormick Place Convention Center, was incredibly convenient. We opted for the daily buffet breakfast, and it did not disappoint; everything was delicious and well-prepared. The room was extremely comfortable, with two double beds and a lovely view of the Chicago skyline, including the iconic Willis Tower. We also took some time to enjoy the pool, which was heated and perfect for a relaxing swim even on a chilly day. Transportation options were plentiful, with easy access to Ubers and taxis, making it simple to explore the city.

This was our first time in Chicago and the location was perfect! The Red Line (we took to get to White Sox and Cubs games) was only 5 blocks or so away and there is a bus stop right at the corner of Michigan Ave and Ontario, making for easy commutes. Kids are 5, 9, & 10 and we ended up walking everywhere except the ballparks (Willis Tower, Navy Pier, Millennium Park) and there are so many restaurant options that are nearby. With the kids, we usually look for hotels with a free continental breakfast but didn’t miss it. The staff were all so helpful and kind during our stay, too! The gym was clean and quiet (even being right next to the pool), and the cardio equipment and weights were in good condition - better than most hotels that I’ve been at recently. The pool area has several tables and loungers, accommodating about 3 to 4 families at a time. There are several Walgreens and CVS stores that were convenient for cheap snacks, beverages, and any items you may have forgotten. The noise of the city doesn’t stop at night-we heard fire engine and police sirens often during the day and night. This didn’t disturb our sleep (on the 22nd floor) since we turn on music for ourselves and kids at nighttime anyway.

I travel extensively on business and stay in hotels for around 100 nights per year, and so I tend not to have time to review unless extremely worthy - or I feel I should share an experience that wasn't pleasant. I wanted to take a few moments to leave a review for this hotel since it was an exceptional stay from start to finish. I reached out to hotel management in advance to help me with a couple of queries and was immediately answered. For the stay itself, every single member of the team I encountered from the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, was superbly friendly and helpful. I really felt that they wanted me there and wanted me to be happy. The room itself was spotlessly clean, great shower and amenities. I only used the bar once and it was great - good quality drinks and efficient service. Special thanks to Karen for looking at my advance request, Jon for checking me into the best room suitable for me, and Joseph for a friendly check-out. What a team! All in all a really great stay and I've already recommended this place.

We made reservations for Mother’s Day brunch. We waited so long for coffee. We asked for sugar and waited so long that my husband ended up getting up and asking for sugar himself. An hour had passed and still no breakfast. We were then told it would be another 15 minutes. 15 minutes passed and still no breakfast. Mind you, people after us had already received their breakfast. Our waiter was horrible. I honestly think he hadn’t even put in our order. The place was small and wasn’t even full. So on Mother’s Day, my family and I left what supposed to be a nice brunch with no breakfast after ha i g been there for over an hour and a half. Then had to rush to get up the airport. Terrible and unprofessional waiter.

We were able to eat breakfast in the restaurant inside the hotel and use the attached Starbucks. There were other restaurants in walking distance. The hotel concierge even recommended a kid friendly pub and gave a discount coupon. The hotel was clean and quiet. The elevator moves fast and smoothly. The staff were very friendly.

Staff was friendly and amazing. We arrived to the property early and were able to check in early. Property was in a central location, close to almost everything. We walked to almost every destination. There was a fridge in the room , but the only microwave was downstairs in the market area. Cleanliness was an issue. Beds and linen were clean. Remote was disgusting. Shower walls were also disgusting. The wall in between the bed and night stand had a splash of something that had dried. Great property, just need to clean more thoroughly.

Everything including breakfast. The staff is friendly, the room and the bathroom are very clean and have a coffee machine, microwave and a refrigerator. The Jacuzzi was amazing 👏

I had an amazing stay at the Best Western Plus Hawthorne Terrace! The hotel was impeccably clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free, making everything so convenient. As someone traveling alone, I felt comfortable and well taken care of. The room was cozy and perfect for a solo traveler like myself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and pleasant stay in Chicago!

Quiet comfortable rooms, could open windows at night, clean and good working shower. Breakfast sufficient and can be taken in the lovely outside garden (good coffee, had cinnamon bun, fresh banana and apple), for us perfect location in Boystown with all venues nearby, such as Wang's pre dinner drink and Wilde restaurant.

This property is beautiful! It is charming with a boutique feel. The location is perfect if you want to walk to/from Wrigley for a game or to the lake. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet. The daily breakfast options were perfect for what my family needed. There are also lots of great restaurants on Broadway - all within walking distance. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

Good location to restaurants, bars, and boutiques. Relaxing outdoor front terrace to enjoy the tastey breakfast or a glass of wine midday. Very safe and walkable neighborhood!

Very friendly and helpful staff, particularly Mr Javier and Mrs Fanny at breakfast time... always smiling, constantly moving around restocking pans and baskets, picking up used items and keeping tables clean and ready. Also, Stephanie at the front desk helped these exhausted travelers with an easy check in. We truly appreciated the nice surprise of our room furnished with two queen beds rather than one, plus a sofa bed. Comfy beds, clean sheets plus all fresh sheets at mid stay. Slept like hibernating bears. Very good wifi, all 4 of us connected at the same time. Witnessed the 22nd commemoration of 9/11 by the Fire Dpt officers across the street from our room, very spiritual moment it truly was. Our family loved Chicago, what a spectacular city: the views, the beach, the advanced and unique arquitecture, the river, the attractions, the elegant Magnificent Mile, the museums and of course, the gastronomy... we really enjoyed it.

My stay at Fairfield in Chicago was excellent! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure every detail of my stay was perfect. The location was convenient, with easy access to attractions and great dining options. The room was spacious and well-equipped, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

What I liked: 1. Good location. 2. Large, spacious room 3. Excellent front desk staff. 4. Decent breakfast. 5. Very comfortable bed. 6. Super-clean room and bathroom. 7. Very smooth check-in and check-out process. 8. Room was exactly as described and shown in pics. What I didn't like: 1. No safe in the room. 2. A few things about bathroom amenities: (a) No shaving mirror. (b) Only liquid soap - no bar soap - in the shower. (c) No moisturizer. (d) Towel rack too far from the shower - entire bathroom gets wet. Overall, recommended. Would stay there again.

The staff were friendly and helpful especially Fannie and Javier , the breakfast staff. . They were extremely welcoming, polite and attentive and greeted everyone warmly. They work hard and keep the breakfast room immaculately clean. We were in Chicago to meet my daughter who is studying in Indiana and they both took a great interest in that. . Lovely people.

Room was clean and very comfortable, in spite of some reviews mentioning the Fire Department across the street for noise, it was quite minimal and our room had AC/Heat and an adjustable fan that you can just turn ON the fan for background noise blocking out most everything including sirens, I am a light sleeper and zonked out each night easily! Breakfast was good, enough choices for carnivores and vegetarians, solid overall and excellent coffee, and the service staff as mentioned by many are outstanding people! It is awesomely located, just a few blocks to the River walk, a few more to the lake shore, many restaurants near, Blues and Jazz clubs walking distance away, etc.

Enjoyed my stay at this cozy Hilton spot in Chicago. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. When I asked to change my room from a parking view, city they immediately gave me a nicer room on an upper floor with a city view. The beds are soft and conducive to a good night’s sleep. The breakfast is really nice (waffles!) and has a low key vibe that I liked. The breakfast staff are super helpful. Bao in particular was so friendly and helpful, she came over to chat and helped me make my waffle and wrap up my food to go! Overall great experience.

The location was beautiful and breakfast was delicious. The two ladies at the front desk were phenomenal! They were extremely helpful and very polite and friendly. They are both tremendous assets to this facility. I wish I had gotten their names. Our key card accidentally got deactivated due to being near our cell phone, and this issue was handled right away. I was traveling with my children and we ran out of towels. We had more towels delivered to our room within 5 minutes of me making it back to my room from the front desk. While I was at the desk waiting to ask for more towels, there were two ladies in front of me who must have been having an issue with their room. The woman at the front desk was so kind and patient, and made sure everything for this person was taken care of. These two ladies need a raise! To work with the public in their capacity and have such wonderful attitudes is a rarity. The only thing I can tell you is they were both Black women and one had long black hair and the other had kind of an auburn colored hair. Both were phenomenal, so much so that my daughter wanted me to be friends with them because they were so sweet. The view of the city was amazing! Our room was extremely comfortable and everything worked the way it’s supposed to. The pool was very clean. Not one complaint! Loved our stay and will definitely return the next time we are in Chicago!

What an amazing mini getaway! Nice, clean, and well maintained. Very friendly staff from the front counter to the breakfast workers! I was impressed with how pleasant the staff was with all encounters. 20 floors up, the view of downtown Chicago was pretty awesome! Only knock, I asked for fresh towel sets and at the front counter and was told they would be delivered to my room shortly. Never happened. Maybe just give them to me or direct me to the place I can grab them. Other than that, stay was fantastic. Convenient to everything downtown. Little over a mile to museums and Mag Mile. Plenty of eating options too right on the block. Wintrust arena within walking distance. Would most definitely stay again when I come back to the Chi.

We were there for a trade show at McCormick Place. The hotel was ideally positioned with a 'sky bridge' to the show. The hotel was clean, comfortable and we had a high floor with a good view. The room was spacious and well maintained and the WiFi good. Breakfast was ok -pretty standard but good. It was also very good value for money.

First of all, I want to point out that this review is for Home2Suites and it was the perfect place to stay in ALL aspects of our short visit. The room was reserved at having one king bed only for 3 people. To our surprise, there was a sofa bed in the room to suit our needs…we thought someone was going to be sleeping on the floor! Lol We also had a kitchenette which made it easy for us to uber groceries back to the hotel like a case of water, quick frozen meals, and extra snacks that we weren’t able to bring on the flight! We were there for the Chi-Town Boys Challenge that was being held at McCormick Place. We are Floridians so cold + wind is not a great combination for us. lol A short walk indoors through the skywalk was so perfect for us every morning! Also…I must mention Ms. Bao in the breakfast room every morning. She is a delight!! So sweet and welcoming, super hospitable and the perfect person to put a smile on the boys faces when they didn’t have their best matches the day before. I honestly think that seeing her before heading to the courts really helped kickstart our day to be the best day! Thanks for an awesome stay! I wish I took photos!! I’m so upset I didn’t. :(

Overall — this property is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is decent for a free (included in price) breakfast. The location is convenient to the Magnificent Mile stores if you are looking to shop. I’d like to take a moment to recognize two exceptional employees who made my stay especially memorable. In a time when genuine customer service can be rare, I truly appreciate those who go above and beyond to create a great experience. Thomas checked us in and was incredibly welcoming. He took the time to offer thoughtful recommendations to help make our trip more enjoyable, and his enthusiasm made a great first impression. I’d also like to commend Charles, who was working at the front valet area during our visit. On two separate occasions, he went out of his way to connect with us—once even surprising my daughter with a candy bar and having a lovely conversation with her about the American Girl store, which he visits with his granddaughter. Both Thomas and Charles played a meaningful role in making our trip more special, and I’m truly grateful for their kindness and attention

Everyone was very friendly and helpful and professional- breakfast was nice quality for a free hotel buffet. Good coffee and cage free eggs and turkey sausage were highlights. And who doesn’t love cooking a waffle to order? Shower head was nice- ice machine at the end of the hall was a bonus. One of the bedside lamps was broken and looked shabby but the room was very clean and comfortable. Front lobby is nice as well Thanks y’all! You helped make my adventure in Chicago with a comfortable place to come back to after all the BBC walking!

Very nice and clean hotel. Comfy bed, nice amenities. Very easy to relax and enjoy the room when it’s so nice and clean. Breakfast was very good too- lots of yummy options and plenty of space to sit. Very clean and organized breakfast area. All employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Great location, walkable to many options for food and 7-Eleven for essentials. Would definitely stay here again!

I had a corner King room on the 5th floor. Bed was comfortable & pillows great! One corner had the vinyl floor coming up but room was very clean & stocked with linen, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner. Small coffee maker. A bit of street noise but I’m a city girl so no problem. Breakfast was varied hot/cold & plentiful. Great coffee. I wish they’d had fresh fruit besides bananas. Staff was very friendly & professional.

Excellent location in a walkable area. In the heart of downtown close to shops, restaurants, attractions and the beach. Basic complimentary breakfast provided (eggs, waffles, pastries, coffee etc...) The clean, basic room is good as a home base for showering and sleeping. The beds were smaller than standard queens and not super comfy. The bathroom was small and if you're a light sleeper you can hear your neighbors but luckily quiet hours are enforced to minimize the noise. The wonderful service provided by Tanya, Charles and Anna was appreciated. They are good at what they do and know how to make guests feel welcomed.
