We had the private suite and were blown away. The room was spacious, bright with a fantastic view and the jacuzzi was well placed down some stairs. We loved the super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was well done, tasty and quick considering the number of guests. Very clean, only 10 mins walk to the main square.

In a happy ambiance village it’s situated a few steps from the Plaza de Bolivar where all the action and restaurants are but it’s in a quiet place at night and you will see stunning mornings with views on the mountains and you can hear the roosters and birds in the morning an amazing experience. A very cozy small hotel you will feel at home. Brake fast was tasty but simple, which was enough for us as a family of 4. Staff was extra helpful and kind. Salento is a stunning small village full of vibrant restaurants, bars. Coffee places and 20 minutes from Valle del cocora the natural park of the tallest palms in the world and the most beautiful coffee mountains I have ever seen. We definitely recommend this hotel with kids. We booked an extra night because we loved it so much.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel! The property is beautiful, and the staff is incredibly kind. Our room was a bit small but perfectly functional, with an absolutely breathtaking view of the mountains. Breakfast was excellent, offering a variety of options for those who prefer savory or sweet choices. A special mention goes to Carlos and Luis, who both very friendly and respectful. They gave us tons of helpful information about places to visit and local restaurants. The hotel is just an 8-minute walk from the center, which makes it peaceful and slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of Salento—ideal for relaxing and waking up to the sounds of nature. We highly recommend this place, and if we come back to Quindío, we’ll definitely stay here again! Hasta Pronto!

Great place to stay. Location is perfect and really peaceful but close to everything. The staff are excellent and managed to turn our massive washing around in an afternoon. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bed is huge and they clean your room daily with fresh towels. Shower is hot and powerful.

The property was beautiful and situated in a quiet street, but still close to the town center. Staff were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel comfortable and at home. Breakfast was delicious and recommendations from staff were very helpful. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

Top level room with unbeatable views and a jacuzzi on the balcony was near perfect. Only the AC and the safe did not work, but I did not need them so did not bother to ask. Cooked to order breakfast was pretty good.

The place has a beautiful view of mountains. I have the panoramic room, with a jacuzzi tub. The place was clean, has AC, the breakfast with the open views of the mountains is spectacular. From Salento, through the shopping area is walkable

The hotel is located in the old town centre of Salento, close to all attractions, many restaurants and bars. It has a private garage, which is very convenient. We stayed in the suite with jacuzzi and a wonderful view over the town. One of our best experiences during this trip.

The Dulima Suite was very spacious with a huge bathroom including a jacuzzi and large shower. Mini fridge was helpful. The staff was very attentive and helped with transportation and laundry. Great to have clean clothes when traveling. The town is a true gem. Instantly relaxing after days in Bogota. The vibe is so laid back that we hated to leave. The suites are separate from the older part of the building and very modern. Breakfast was fruit, cereal and choice of eggs and pancakes (pangueques).

If you can afford it, stay in one of the suites. Our suite was on the 5th floor and had an amazing view through many large windows of the valley and the mountains. We had a jacuzzi in room as well which was great to use at night. The hotel is located very conveniently to the Main Street and just a few blocks from the plaza. But, it is all either up or down hill. Good exercise! The only disappointing thing was the included breakfast. Tasteless coffee, not good for the coffee region; plated and not too tasteful fruit; limited egg preparation and with white bread toast. This is all served in a buffet fashion with a waitress taking your egg order. I guess we were spoiled after being in a fabulous B&B in Cartagena with a beautifully prepared breakfast in a garden!

Great location just on the edge of town - 5 min walk from everything. Staff were friendly and helpful - host was very responsive to all messages. Comfy and spacious room. Lots of information about things to do, restaurants, etc. and they offered to help book any tours for us.

Wonderful stay in Salento. Great location and comfortable rooms. We want to especially mention Erika who took great care of us by welcoming us and making delicious breakfast every morning. And she even made sure we could use their water tank for showering (much needed after the Cocora valley) when there was no water available in the village. Thank you for the lovely time!

Staying at La Caracola made our time in Salento extra special. Erika was very nice and helpful throughout our time there. She had great patience for our not great understanding and speaking of Spanish. The room was an ok size and the bed quite large and comfortable. Everything was very clean and breakfast was great as well.

We enjoyed our stay at Isa Victory Hotel and the staff were outstanding in every way, especially Bibiana at the front desk. She attended to our every need and made sure we were happy when there was a problem. The rooftop jacuzzi tub is relaxing after a day of hiking, and the breakfast buffet very good with made to order eggs. Great location for a trip to Salento and to any one of the many coffee farm tours in the area. Highly recommend!

It was a pleasure staying at this hotel in downtown Armenia. Really nice staff from front reception all the way through the kitchen and bar. Tatiana, Viviana and Juan were very helpful, friendly, and respectful. Amazing staff!! The room itself was big and comfort enough for me. They provide full delicious breakfast 10x way better than other hotel’s continental breakfast. I had dinner couple times at hotel and it was yummy! I would definitely come back if I’m in town, there’s a Shopping mall nearby less than a minute, restaurants and bars. The place is only 35 minutes away from Salento, Cócora Valley and Coffee Park. I highly recommend! Try out yourself, you won’t regret. Muchas Gracias!

The hotel is located in the city so if you are going to the EJE CAFETERO it might not be what you want. But having said that, if you don't mind a little driving to sites like the Parque Nacional del Cafe, Salento or Calarca, the hotel is a wonderful place. It is well located, with good restaurants in the area and (once you know the city) good access. The room I had was a suite, which was very big and comfortable. It was cleaned on a daily basis, with a large bath area and comfortable bed and room amenities. The "wet area" on the sixth floor was very nice, with a large hot tub to soak after a day of sightseeing and whatever you fancy. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was well serviced, with a nice menu. Breakfast, included in the tariff, was generous and nice. Perhaps the only item to mention would be the parking lot (don't go to Armenia without a car). It is small and difficult to access, so better rent a small car rather than a large SUV. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in Armenia and the Eje.

This hotel is very comfortable, staff is friendly and finding transportation is easy, the area es safe, there is a mall and pharmacy at walking distance, as well some restaurants. Breakfast is great, but, every day the same menu gets boring after a few days. in the morning a lot of noise comes from the upper floor restaurant. Walking a few blocks southbound, we found at cra 14 and Cl 10N the Lineas de Nazca restaurant, very good Peruvian food.

This is an excellent, well-designed and well-maintained property within minutes of the centre of Salento. We had a warm welcome from their reception staff. We enjoyed staying in the Deluxe Bungalow - a great space, including the terrace with a view and the jacuzzi on the terrace. Breakfast was simple but good and you can have local restaurants deliver to the room for dinner - or just walk into town.

I can’t imagine a better hotel in Salento. Perfect location - overlooking the gorgeous valley but also less than a 10 minute walk to the main square. The deluxe bungalows are well worth it. Large and with amazing balconies that have a jacuzzi tub and even a screened mat to lay down and hang out with the birds and nature. Perfect to watch the sunset.

I can’t imagine a better place to stay in Salento. Right in town yet overlooking the valley. You feel that you are in the middle of nature but can be in the centre of town in less than 10 minutes walking. Definitely spend the extra for the deluxe bungalows. So private and phenomenal views with a jacuzzi and lounging mesh off the balcony.

They have a sauna with amazing views of the surrounding mountains and valleys , they offer to do an outside fire place and gave us marshmallows, the brdakfast was served at the outside garden of our room and the options were wow...delicioous coffee and juices, fruits, acai bowl and traditional breakfast items, sanwich estc. I felt treated like more than 5 stars , the cleanliness is absolute om spot. The bathroom products sbampoo amd body wash are high quality products , everything was more than perfect. The room ahad a garden view and chairs and hamock to enjoy the views and tranquility of the place.

Amazing place to relax and be in the nature. The glamping tent was perfect and spacious, the bed was super comfy, the bathroom was just outside the tent and looked amazing! The staff was super friendly and always willing to help. When we arrived we got a welcome drink. The breakfast was very good (choice of 5 dishes) and was brought to our tent every morning. The restaurant was open for dinner every evening and the food was just fantastic. Its a short Willy ride from the centre of Filandia or a max. 30-min walk. We loved it here! We will miss Rocky the dog!

Amazing view, our eco-dome was large, with heat and A/C. Great bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Could not have asked for anything more. Restaurant had an excellent, limited menu. Great cocktails and wine. The breakfast was AMAZING... delivered to our deck. Great value... a short drive from Filandia. The road is under re-construction, so I would not recommend driving it in the dark.

we really enjoyed our stay, the surroundings were incredibly peaceful with stunning views better than the viewpoints around the town. In addition to this, the food - especially the breakfast was delicious. This hotel really stood out as the best one out of the ones we stayed in during travelling in Colombia, what made it really stand out were the fantastic staff. It really felt like nothing we requested was too much, they were incredibly friendly and helpful and really made our stay special.

The view is spectacular and ever-changing depending on the weather, yet always wonderful for the eyes. The room is clean and cosy, the equipment is modern. The service is amazing, special attention is given to every guest. They recommended a coffee tour which was sustainable and organic. We loved it. The Sauna was great, must-do while there! We must specify that it rained during our stay and it did not ruin our time at all, quite at the opposite.

The hotel Campestre Montecarlo is a great place to relax an enjoy the amenities. We took advantage of the pool and jacuzzi. The hotel has a short trail were you can do some bird watching. Staff is friendly an helpful.

the location is great with amazing view on the plantation surroundings. the hotel concept is therefore great willing to offer luxury rooms with a lot of privacy. our had a jacuzzi in the terrace which we enjoyed.

I loved my stay at Hotel Eco Piedemonte. The staff at the front desk I thought were exceptional, so kind and wonderful to talk to! My room was perfect for me, and I especially love the outdoor wooden jacuzzi tub, which was a wonderful treat at the end of the day. The one thing, and it wasn’t a major deal for me was the wifi was spotty in my room, so that is the only thing that could have been better. I had the room with the jacuzzi. It was like in a dream. This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been. Giulia at the reception was just like an angel. She organised an awesome MTB-tour for me and helped me whenever I had a question. My time at Piedemonte was just beautiful beautiful beautiful! Thank you so much for those fantastic three days !

Everything. Beautiful spot and hotel next to a little river. Our cabin/cottage, which I believe is the biggest (No. 11), was absolutely amazing, away from everything and everyone in the top of the hill around beautiful trees and with a lovely view, so very peaceful, quiet and private. It is up hill so to reach it, you need to take several stone steps but they are friendly, no very steep with handles and through a beautiful path so we found them quite easy, but bear it in mind with mobility issues people, my Father who is 83 was ok with the steps. All staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, substantial and with few options.

Hotel is “out of town” but is less than 5 minutes to the main square, great location. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. Good, hot shower. Nice breakfast, the staff made us a toastie to take away when we had to check out before breakfast started. Staff all lovely and helpful.

Simple but great value for money - comfortable room and clean bathroom (consistent hot shower), and breakfast was lovely (eggs, fruits, bread and coffee). Location was great - tucked away from the noisier part of town but walkable to most attractions. They offered laundry service that was cheaper and faster than most places.

The room was large and we'll decorated. It has great storage areas. This place has the best hot water for showering that we've experienced in Colombia. It was spotless clean. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was great. This is our favorite place we've stayed in Colombia.

This was a lovely place with the nicest staff possible. The breakfast was delicious, you can choose Between eggs or french toast. It is only a 5 minute walk from the city center and very quiet at night. They have a lovely spa with massages, jacuzzi, facials etc with good price.

Fantastic!! Coffee around the clock. Extremely helpful front desk staff full of advice on Cocora, coffee farms, and more. Can book many tours through this hotel. Hot shower. Delicious fresh breakfast of eggs, toast, fruit, and coffee. Convenient location on the way to coffee farms. Just great all around. Even near a cemetery and picturesque yellow bridge. I loved everything about this place.

Cons: - Room: cold at night, and no heating system. They ran out of blankets, too. - Bed: was uncomfortable, too soft and worn out. Overall a great stay, I recommend.

It's a very nice hotel with nice green views, location is great! In the evenings and mornings you can hear the birds singing all the time. The breakfast was simple yet enough and delicious! There is a restaurant in the hotel as well, the staff of the restaurant was very friendly, we spent a lot of time drinking good coffee there and doing some work on PC, as the wi-fi was also very good.

The view was beautifull! Had so much luck with the room and balcony. The location is close to the city centre where all the trucks go for the valley. Breakfast is basic, coffee, eggs, bread and cereal. Shower was nice and strong. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Fantastic experience and highly recommend this hotel. There is a restaurant attached to this hotel with the best food in town and plenty of lounging area. There is a views are lovely and the staff is kind, welcoming, and helpful especially the front desk and Rochy from the restaurant.

I stayed in the deluxe double room and it looked exactly like in the picture. The room was clean and there was hot water in the en suite shower. I saw some bad reviews so was worried about this booking, but I didn’t encounter any problems.The man behind the desk was friendly and helpful. The hostel gave me keys to the front door so I could come and go as I pleased. For the cheap price this room was very good! The room I stayed in had windows out into the street, so there is some noise from people walking by but this was fine. The room I stayed in was also very close to the front door so you could hear people as they came in/checked in. But this was not a problem. There are some nice bars just up the hill a little bit more and you can hear the music from them till about 1130 but it was quiet after that untill about 7:30 in the morning when people start passing by There is a nice little fire pit and beautiful view from the back of the social area also

This has been one of our best travel experiences. The entire team are exceptional hosts - warm, friendly, attentive. They work so hard to make this a nice stay for everyone, no matter your age or background. La Masia has different types of rooms, and we had one of the smaller standard rooms. It was cozy and peaceful, and the space outside is just fabulous. There are multiple benches and hammocks to hang out, or you just roam the beautiful garden with its trees full of birds, or have a chat with one of the staff (which was possible despite our bad Spanish!) They also have a good kitchen, with a hearty Colombian breakfast in the morning and solid Colombian dishes in the evening. And someone is always there to make you a coffee or tea in the afternoon and tell you to relax. Note that this hotel is located a bit outside of the town of Salento - but that makes it even better. You will not find the same peace in the town after a day of hiking or exploration. It's absolutely worth paying an Uber/ Taxi. There is a kiosk nearby where you can buy snacks and water, or you walk to the main road to grab a bite. It's a safe and village-like community where everyone greets you on the way. Thank you, Diego, Joanna and Jon and the entire team - we hope to come back one day.

This place is a little paradise. Green grass, a great variety of colorful bird, sweet dogs, well kept trees and enough space between guests.It was very clean, peaceful and the personnel was all friendly and willing to help. We spent 6 days there and felt sad when we left. The breakfast was typical from that region and it tasted good. Take in notice that you will enjoy your stay better if you rent a car, in case that you come from abroad. Taxis will charge between 20,000 to 25,000 Colombian pesos to take you from there to Salentos’s center or to Salento’s bus station. We would come back and we recommend it 100%.

Diego has been very attentive, ensuring I have a comfortable stay. The accommodation is clean, and the location is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend it, especially if you're seeking a quiet place to relax.

Amazing space, views and location was great. Diego and staff went above and beyond to assist us with anything we asked for. (Lend of hair dryer for example wasn't an issue and one of the facility workers dropped us over 2 coffees every morning before breakfast without asking) We were travelling with 2 young children (2 year old and an 8 month old) They made our stay very enjoyable.

Great location, walking distance to the best part of town, safe and quiet neighborhood, amazing view, super confortable bed, nice and hot shower and the best part, the feeling of being at home with your own family. Don Hugo and his coffee were the inspiration to start my day and meet amazing people just like him while enjoying the beauty of Salento.

Such a comfortable stay! Our room was spotless. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was hot! Strong WiFi connection. Within a 10 minute walk of everything we wanted and the bus terminal. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

It’s a bit farther away from the city, but still walking distance wherever you want to go. The view is pleasant. The accommodation itself great, spacious, nice shower and the staff is attentive and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more :)

The hotel is beautiful with great views of the mountains. It's laid out like a farm village, with colourful buildings plus interesting and historical props all over the large grounds. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast and dinner, the food there it's great (I recommend the Tilapia). Due to the remote location, the hotel offers a gym, games room, mini golf, tennis court, a couple of jacuzzis, and a pool. These facilities are a little dated, they look like nobody has used them in decades, but still a nice to have with the changeable mountain weather. The staff were all great, friendly, helpful and patient with my terrible Spanish. Our room was huge, with 2 big balconies, smart TV, and big comfy beds offering the best nights sleep we experienced in all of Colombia.

Our experience with this property was truly remarkable. The property was absolutely beautiful and the staff were very kind. One staff member took his time to ask each of us what we would like for breakfast and in the morning it was perfectly delicious. The property was only a few minutes from Filandia, which was perfect for us because we didn’t want to stay in the town. We felt exceptionally safe with the dogs and staff around. In addition, we had our own parking spot within a closed gated area.

The remoteness of the property. The birds. The property, complete with hot tub, was amazing. The attention to details were Instagram worthy but I am not on Instagram so ... Filandia is the most beautiful city I have ever visited.

A good breakfast Eggs, Coffee and sausage etc. Excellent matress on all the beds. Location a bit remote but that made it more natural/ nature feeling. Wonderful hot shower which can be hard to find in Colombia. Fully stocked refrigerator in each room. Great service at night for coffee, tea etc. Would stay here again when we visit family in Quimbaya.

The staff was excellent and assisted us with anything we needed. The view was breathtaking and amenities were on par. Chilling in the pool taking in the view of the sunset over the valley was exceptional.

Everything was great. I was very surprised to see how elegant the hotel is and the hot-tub and steam baths they have. Great and very generous breakfast. Very calm, a bit outside the hyper-centre but located at walkable distance from everything. It was very charming and comfortable. The backyard, the room itself, the entrance hall, everything is very tastefully and nicely decorated and invites you to spend a god restful time at the hotel.

Breakfast was ok but not great. Property is centrally located, and parking was offered. Room was not huge but comfortable and bathroom was clean.

The staff at this hotel are absolutely incredible. Your stay includes a massage with discounted additional spa treatments, nightly use of the jacuzzi, and an amazing made-to-order breakfast. Transportation options they provided were a bit pricy compared to taxis but I really enjoyed my stay.

Boutique hotel that has it all! Newly renovated. Amazing view. Delicious breakfast and lovely evening snacks. In the booking fee we had a cocktail, 30min massage (we extend to an hour for a small fee) and 1.5hr jacuzzi included (we booked for 5.30pm so could enjoy the sunset). Rooms are great too with comfortable bed. Helpful staff. Picked us up from an airport for a fair fee.

This small hotel checks all of the boxes. As others have written, rooms and bathroom are small, but that is in keeping with the historic nature of the building. We’d rather have small and authentic, than large and new. Staff are kind and helpful. Breakfast was terrific (the best fruit we’ve had in Colombia!). Shower was fantastic. Location and views from the public area were amazing. We were also able to avail ourselves of all of our welcome “gifts” (cocktail, 1/2 hour massage, jacuzzi) and all were great.

Glamping Lumbre's approach to sustainability was one of many reasons we enjoyed the stay. The food at the on-site restaurant was simple but some of the most delicious we found in the region. The views and the nearby hikes are a huge bonus, and the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful.

The glamping is in the midst of beautiful nature. You can see and hear the birds chirp in the morning while you sip on a delicious cup of coffee or hot chocolate. From the glamping, you can hike for 20 minutes and arrive at a beautiful waterfall in the middle of the jungle mountain. The glamping itself is gorgeous, you can watch the stars at night through the crystal ceiling. The place is also ecological and has a commitment to sustainability. For example, you can participate and plant a seed of the iconic and endangered wax palm tree. The glamping is also super clean and very comfortable. You can book lovely tours/things to do with the hotel. We had a bird-watching experience early in the morning with an amazing and knowledgeable guide. And, also had some amazing coffee massages at the wellness area. Overall, we had a fantastic and unforgettable stay!

Glamping Lumbre was such a nice paradise. We regret staying for only 1 night and will definitely come back. Amazing views and atmosphere. The birds were like a chorus. The plants and landscaping were beautiful. The stars at night were the brightest and clearest we’ve ever seen. The bed was comfortable and the tent had everything we needed. There was the sweetest dog, Sol, who was our hiking guide to the mirador and waterfalls on the property. — Cocora Valley is near by and we arranged to have massages after. Highly recommend massages after the hike and it was so relaxing hearing the birds and the nice breeze. — The staff were also incredible and helped us with everything, arranging drivers and massages. — We didn’t eat at the restaurant but the breakfast was very filling and delicious. Highly, highly recommend Glamping Lumbre and we can’t wait to go back!

We just left Lumbre a couple of days ago and we miss the glamping side and the surrounding nature already. The owner Pablo, his wife and their team are super attentive and helpful. The room (suite) is beautiful, cosy, clean and has lovely views into the nature. The wifi at the main house is great, breakfast was great too, and we didn't feel cold at night at all. We just started our trip in Colombia, but there is no doubt that Lumbre is already one of our highlights here.

This hotel is a real paradise! Everything is spotless and feels new, with all areas always clean and beautifully maintained. There’s plenty for the kids to do, and the food is absolutely delicious. Areas for improvement: 1. It would be great to have more sport activities for adults. 2. A wider range of vegetarian options, such as soy milk for breakfast, would make the dining experience even better. We loved our stay and would happily come back again!

Great resort for Families. Kids had a blast and there was so much to do every night. The shows and activities offered were EXCEPTIONAL.The quality of the restaurant food was incredible . Every item in the menu exceeded our expectations. The staff was incredible and always willing to help and go out of their way to assist. We were a party of 16 and it was the perfect resort for a large group. My only observation would be that, I wish the resort had a Spa. But they are going to renovations so Im sure that would be an addition.

The view from the top of the hotel was really cool. The room was large and had a desk and terrific view. The coffee in the room was terrific. The place had a wonderful breakfast. Staff were super nice and check in and out was easy. Cabs also stop right in front of the location. There is a really nice bar at the top of the location with a swimming pool. We had lunch at the restaurant which was really good. There are also wonderful views from the restaurant. The hotel is also attached to a mall next door and you are close to other restaurants, healthcare, parque Fundadores and there is a grocery store accross the street. This hotel felt like a Marriot or something in the US without pretentious people. Relaxed but a bit more traditonal and formal than other hotels.

-All the staff members of the hotel were always very helpful and professional. -The breakfast had a wide range of food selection. -The city view from the room was great. -Wonderful view from the pool area. The hotel facilities were great and the staff was very kind. They were very fast to solve all our issues and tried to make us as comfortable as possible at all times. The breakfast buffet was delicious and we had it every day, with Colombian typical food but also regular breakfast.

Very lucky to have a warm blanket on the bed, as it’s quite chilly in the room. In the morning there was free coffee for the guests. There are many restaurants and shops all around. The Willy jeeps leave for Cocoro Valley just outside, on the main square. The hotel has lovely interior decoration of antique telephones, sewing machines, a camera, and other artifacts, paintings, etc. There’s a fridge which guests can use, as well as a gas burner (which might also be available for guests to cook food). There’s a table with benches next to the kitchen area as well as an outside balcony at the end of the hall with attractive seating. The same family owns the supermarket situated just downstairs from the hotel.

The room was very clean. The staff were helpful. There us a small kitchen and fresh coffee in the morning. Great value for money. Nice terrace to drink your morning coffee. Very hot water in the shower. A big supermarket right under the hotel.

The room was clean. There was a mosquito net in the window (not all hotels have that and it is very useful). The staff speaks English and is very friendly. They can order a taxi or tour for you if you need it. The hotel surrounding is very beautiful. There are avocado and orange trees, and coffee bushes around. You can observe hummingbirds and other colorful birds, etc. The swimming pool is a bit cold but is big and swimming surrounded by beautiful nature is very relaxing. There are also a jacuzzi and sauna but it needs to be booked in advance (there is high demand so we were able to book it just twice during 4 days stay). The hotel offers also massages for an additional fee. The food in the restaurant is very good.

Moderately prices it has nice views and pool. The Owner Theresita is nice and was on the property asking how the service was while we were there. We took the coffee farm tour which was interesting. I recommend it. but beware they never told us there was a cost/charge to take the tour which lasts about 4 hours and is a walk through the property with an demonstration and testing of how different types of coffee are made. We were presented with a bill of over $50 USD for two people. Unfortunately we were never told there was a cost. We paid it since we enjoyed it but recommended to the owner that she needs to let people know up front. It doesn't seem like the staff are very well trained (yet). Great views and pool and jacuzzi are very nice. I would stay here again for a relaxing weekend. We paid $77 per night plus tax on Expedia.

El hotel es hermoso, es campestre ubicado a las afueras de Calarcá, se puede llegar muy fácil. Está muy cerca del pueblo, incluso queda a 15 minutos de Armenia. Las habitaciones son amplias, muy aseadas y con camas muy cómodas, tal vez cambiaría la iluminación, ya que las luces son un poco tenues. El hotel cuenta con parqueadero y WiFi con muy buena señal. Es tal y como se ve en las fotos. El lugar tiene una linda piscina y jacuzzi. El desayuno estuvo delicioso, aunque faltó la fruta o el juguito de naranja. Me gustó mucho el hotel porque aparte de que las instalaciones son lindísimas, el personal es muy amable. Sin duda volveremos.

I had an amazing stay at Hacienda Combia which is in the middle of a coffee plantation. The views are outstanding, the rooms are comfortable but it is the excellence of the staff that makes this hotel stand out. The food at the hotel restaurant from breakfast to diner was really good and reflected the food of the area. It is close to the Armenia airport and has good access to the larger coffee region including Salento. Lastly the swimming pool was perfect! Enjoy your stay - I will be jealous.

Nice hot shower as well. You can request lunch and dinner ahead of time. Comfortable bed.

Amazing location in the valley and only a short car journey to Salento (20 mins walking). The room was spacious and clean and had everything we could want. The property has an incredible terrace overlooking the horses and mountains and was a lovely place to sit and have a delicious breakfast. Diego and all of the staff were fantastic - so friendly and helpful. The horse ride was a particular highlight and will be an unforgettable experience. We rode up through the mountains, guided by Diego, to see incredible views and to learn about the Colombian landscape. We didn’t come across anyone else on the whole 4 hour ride - it felt very authentic. This was only my second time riding a horse and I felt very comfortable as the horses are so calm and well trained. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

The location was amazing. Surrounded by green mountains and tons of animals (dogs, horses, cows, etc). The staff makes you feel right at home. Diego and the rest of the crew are so friendly and welcoming. There’s delicious breakfast every morning that comes with the booking. They offer delicious lunch and dinner every day for a very reasonable price. The showers are nice and the rooms are cozy. They offer an amazing horseback tour. We rode horses across rivers and streams and deep into the mountains where Diego provided some history and information about the area. I 100% recommend this place to anyone thinking about going to Salento or Cocora Valley. I wish I would have been able to stay here longer. Great place to relax and unplug. Believe it or not, I think it’s also a great place to get some work done if you’re able to work remotely. I had to get some schoolwork out of the way and the front porch provided a great atmosphere for that.

Great property in a lovely location. 45 minutes on foot from Salento or a short Jeep or taxi ride away. This is a perfect place to come and reset from all of the chaos that some of the bigger cities in Colombia offer. Coming here was one of the best decisions that we have made on our Colombia trip. The elephant rock horse ride with Diego and Guillermo was an unforgettable experience which I could not recommend booking enough. The staff are all lovely, highly attentive and are happy to help in any way which they can. The breakfast is amazing and hearty and both times we ate dinner, the food was spot on. We’d recommend the trout in garlic paired with a nice glass, or bottle, of vino blanco! The hot chocolate at breakfast. Amazing! We did the Cocora valley loop trail in 4hrs (inclusive of a stop). We hike quite regularly, this trail was great, at times not so well signposted but we got round after a detour or two. We’d class it as a moderate trail, with two pay booths along the way and also facilities to buy drinks etc if needed. We walked from the reserve to Salento and picked a Jeep up to take us to the trail head. Finca Ocaso was the coffee tour that we took (also via Jeep from Salento. And Filandia is a trip well worth recommending especially on Saturday or Sunday when the locals are all out- just be sure to book your Jeep from Salento in advance as this service can sell out pretty quickly. 10/10 for Reserva Guadalajara

It was an absolutely wonderful stay. The reserva is beautiful, surrounded by nature and close to the magical Valle de Cocorá. The staff was so friendly and I really felt taken care of. A big breakfast that was very delicious. They really had tought about a lot of details that really make you feel good, feels like an absolute luxury in a real countryside place. I also ate dinner for three nights, the fish in garlic sauce was especially delicious and one of the best plates I ate in Colombia. Sandra and Jeny are great cooks and very sweet people. Don Diego is really a great host and makes you feel very welcome. It was easy to move around with the taxis, that the people at reserva will kindly order for you when needed. They even helped me get a service for washing my clothes after getting all muddy in the nature! It was also a safe area, felt comfortable moving around as a woman travelling alone. I really couldn't recommend enough staying here, it was absolute peace during 5 days and I hope to go back one day.

The breakfast location had a stunning view and it was prepared by the owner himself, perfect for vegetarians. Good coffee, scrambled eggs and delicious homemade jam. Further, it is really quite, not a lot of people. The owner was really friendly, gave good tips and he speaks several languages. Be aware that it can get quite cold and rainy in Salento. There are additional blankets in the room.

The views are stunning, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Carlos advised us to do the Cabonera tour with downhill mountain biking, instead of doing it by jeep/hiking, and it was an amazing experience. All the other recommendations (which coffee farm to visit and restaurants) were great as well. Rooms are clean and kept nice and tidy. The place is just a bit out of Salento (5-10min walk up the hill), but this gives the benefits of the view, enjoy tranquility and still be able to enjoy the town and vibe of Salento.

Margarita and Ignasi were superior hosts- so warm, friendly, caring and knowledgeable. The property is a 10 min walk out of town down a lovely dirt road with beautiful views. Our room was beautifully appointed , with a cozy bed, great view and comfortable shower. Breakfast was delicious and nicely presented.

The view of the hotel is breathtaking. Location is good. 10 minutes walking from Salento center. Breakfast was wonderful. They serve delicious scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, fruit juice, coffee, bread, cream cheese, cereals etc. Cristina is a great host. She is very helpful with your questions about restaurants, coffee farm tours, cocora valley tours etc. Overall we loved this place!

You need a swimming cap for the pool, they sell it there ($1.5 dollar - 4000 pesos). I didn't see this hotel availability on the travel sites. Call directly and ask, I found a room in person the same day of my arrival. And they give you a discount if you are traveling from another country.

I had a great stay at Armenia Hotel. The location is excellent—right on a main street, next to a great coffee shop and a large city park, which made exploring the area really convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and I especially loved the spectacular view of the mountains from my window. The neighborhood felt safe and pleasant. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

Location is perfect near coffee shop and beautiful green park. Rooms very fancy and clean, I liked it a lot. Pool always available and other social areas were also available. Restaurant also good, amazing buffet breakfast. Staff very friendly. You can take a taxy or bus just in front of the hotel. It's a safe area.

It was a welcome break after a long bus journey. The hotel was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. It was lovely to have a swim in such a clean pool. Armenia felt so friendly and so safe after Bogata. It is worth spending a couple of days in this area as the shop owners and restaurants are so welcoming.. The hotel was able to look after our bags before we left. A very nice stay.

On my first visit to Armenia my daughter, her friend and I staid at the Armenia Hotel in joining rooms. The rooms are well appointed and clean with great views or Armenia and the surrounding mountains. The hotel restaurant was exceptional and we enjoyed a few great lunches plus a dinner in the hotel. Wifi was decent and free of charge. We unanimously hated the attached sandwich shop, the food was disgusting and I would encourage you to find other establishments for quick meals.

The location of this property is the best! felt supper safe as a female solo traveler, the view from the balcony rooms is incredible! The staff were so so lovely. I thought breakfast was perfect. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I would say the walls are thin, you can hear other people and local dogs, the birds will wake you up early so id bring earplugs. Bed was comfortable and there were soap and shampoos. Wifi in the main seating area was perfect. I worked a full day and sent several emails, room wifi was spotty, there was a storm.

Staff was great — from the hotel owner to the restaurant team and reception, everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and made even better by the amazing view. The location is prime, right in the center, making it super easy to get around. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely staff, clean rooms and of course- the beautiful view. The Mirador is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast, an evening read or to watch the rain over the valley. We chose a standard-double room and it was perfect for a two night stay. Included was a comfortable couch, clean bathroom and shelving space to place& hang belongings. This room did not have a view of the hillside but we enjoyed the rooftop view. Would stay again on our next trip to Salento.

The hotel was what I expected. It has a good location since it is close to the bus terminal. There are some street food vendors around so you can go out get a burguer or chicken a la plancha. The neighborhood wasnt a city like place. There are small shops and drugstores around though. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was very nice. All in all, a excellent choice for people just traveling and wanting to get a good night sleep.

Staff answered our questions and helped when needed for routin things. Hot water in the shower. The photos were much better than the room itself. Window opening outside.

They had 24h check-in and the staff was really welcoming and friendly, I haven't seen a lot of the place or the town, but the hotel is really nice and clean. I arrived in the night so being out on the street for longer is not preferrable, but I was let in immediately and felt safe and comfortable inside the hotel.

It was clean and modern and comfy. Free coffee / hot drink dispenser. Staff were helpful. Location fine during the day.

Really clean and comfortable. The room was small but had a comfortable bed, a working TV (a rarity in Colombia), small bathroom......ideal for one person especially at the bargain price. The interior of the rooms and hotel are painted in bright vibrant colours and was a short walk from nearby plaza de Bolivar and banks etc. Perfect for a stopover before heading to Salento. The bed was quite firm which I liked but not for everyone.

I had to find a room last minute because my airbnb fell through. Found Hotel Cafe Color online . I was going to stay here for 1 or 2 nights but decided to stay several days. Great location, friendly staff clean rooms and quiet. I'll definitely stay again!

Posada Martha Tolima is the hidden gem of Salento! Our room was creatively decorated, clean and spacious...very unique and comforting and great bed. You climb a colorful tiled spiral staircase to get to the second floor with an open balcony to view the back court scenery. You can also breakfast or work from the second floor with a view. Breakfast is individually prepared each day from a list of 10 meals selections. It's fast and good and their coffee is some of the best that I have had in Colombia. The staff is super friendly and helped w lots of our questions and were particularly helpful with our transportation issues, This place is more of a home than hotel. We felt very safe and welcomed here. They have a common den for just hanging out or relaxing with a book, laptop or cleaning your cell phone, The WiFi was great throughout. There are collections hanging everywhere. We particularly liked the wide display of ceramic Colombian churches. . Logistically, they are 1 1/2 blocks from the Town Square, just far enough away from any noise or traffic which was modest at best. We would return here in a heartbeat and highly recommend a stay here.

Martha and her staff were exceptional. They make you feel at home and we even extended our stay by an additional 2 nights. For the price, it is great value with a delicious breakfast and she even gave us room service. Great hot shower, convenient location and she is really sweet and helpful. I truly enjoyed my stay at this pretty B&B and Salento itself! The owners were so nice, helpful and welcoming that I had that wonderful feeling that I was visiting my family. The breakfast was nice and very homey. They even gave me the boots and the rain poncho for the Cocora valley hike. I definitely recommend that place because of its owners, perfect location (close to the centre and the bus station), value for money and a very warm feeling :)
