Amazing room. Opulent hotel. Quite a way to start our trip around Ireland! loved the jacuzzi bath in the room.

This absolute gem within big and well-kept, park-like grounds just outside Blarney, the owners family home with many history and family memorabilia in quiet surrounding welcomes you and makes you forget work or worries straight away. With Olwen, her husband Douglas and her super- friendly staff and their smiles and cheery characters you feel on holiday on the spot. Each room is decorated in a different style with much thought given to every detail. The room is kept spotless and is nicely made up every day. This special atmosphere can also be found in the conservatory breakfast room with its cheerful and flowery decoration. The breakfast itself covers everything from juice, tea, coffee, cereals, fresh fruits, yoghurts, different sorts of bread, cheeses, to daily varying cooked breakfast, jams etc etc. Olwen is very eager to fulfill guests' wishes! It is wonderful to talk and laugh with both of them, exchange ideas and listen to interesting stories from their many journeys. They are very helpful in giving hints for daytrips or activities. Maranatha Country Houset is so much more than just a bed and breakfast!

The hosts were most welcoming and friendly. Fabulous service. The bed was super comfortable, the room very spacious with a huge balcony and a great view. I loved the big chandelier in the bedroom. It was a very peaceful quiet place. Close to Blarney. Breakfast was lovely.

My stay at matanatha house was the best hotel visit I've ever had, the room was luxurious very clean and had great variety of teas and shower gels. The shared balcony was very relaxing to longue on the breakfast was divine with great variety of cold food and good options of hot food but by far the best part of my experience here was the staff, both alwin and Trish were extremely friendly and helpful, they made us feel so at home even giving us ice cream rhet are lovely people and this is a lovely b&b I would highly recommend staying here.

A beautiful, stately manor set on a quiet hilltop, yet with easy access to main highways, and just west of Blarney and Cork. Olwen and Douglas are exceptional hosts who truly take pride in extending hospitality to their guests. We enjoyed the comfort of a spacious room, comfortable king size bed, full ensuite, walk-out to a deck overlooking the gardens. Breakfast included many hot and cold choices and was served in the bright and attractive breakfast conservatory. Maranatha House is an exceptional bed and breakfast, and is also an excellent value.

Everything about the Blarney Castle Hotel is exceptional. Hotel staff is so friendly and helpful...just amazing. The food served for breakfast, and for dinners, are nicely prepared and taste so good...just amazing. The accommodations are very clean, have been recently renovated, and the rooms are perfect...just amazing. The owner of the Hotel is so nice and he wants to make sure everything is perfect for your stay. We stayed 2 nights.

My fiancé and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night after visiting the Blarney Castle and it was nearly perfect! The entire hotel staff was welcoming, friendly, and accommodating! The castle entrance is less than 2 min walk across the street and there are several restaurants in the area that are suitable for every occasion. We had a phenomenal traditional Irish breakfast in the morning at the hotel that really gets you day started on a positive note. They also have a pub right downstairs that was perfect for a pint after a day of driving and walking around. The room was extremely spacious, clean, and comfortable! The only hiccup would be the WiFi being a bit spotty but after a few tries worked for the most part. I would highly recommend this hotel and will always come back given the opportunity!

All the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble. We ate both dinner and breakfast in the hotel, and the food was delicious, and the bar where we chose to eat dinner had a lovely, warm, friendly feeling. Free parking was available in their carpark, and I think in front of the hotel. Our room was large, characterful, beautjfully decorated, and comfortable with a lovely view across the park.

Perfect location for access to the castle. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Pub was fun and comfortable. Ate dinner in the bar, and we were both very pleased with the quality of the food. Breakfast was very tasty. Owners actively involved in the day-to-day, and seemed very eager to accommodate any needs or requests we had. We'd return in a heartbeat.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful and an amazing breakfast was included. The location was perfect for visiting Blarney castle the next day. We had dinner in the restaurant, I would highly recommend that. We also spent the evening in the bar enjoying the live music and fun atmosphere.

We had an excellent stay at the Residence Inn by Marriott in Cork. The room was very clean and well appointed, with a kitchenette and upgraded amenities, like a Keurig, tea kettle, oven/microwave and a great selection of teas and coffee. It is situated right across from the Cork City center. The hotel has a sister hotel, the Moxy which had a great bar and restaurant for nights we didn't care to walk to one of the local restaurants or pubs. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, offering information for local sightseeing and tips for navigating the city. Overall we would definitely recommend this Redidence Inn to anyone staying in Cork City.

The staff were excellent. They were so kind and helpful and really made our stay a joy. We're extremely grateful! The hotel is spotless, the beds are very comfy, having a kitchenette in your room is so convenient. The hotel breakfast and coffee were lovely. The location was absolutely perfect for what we needed!

Friendly staff, great breakfast with healthy and vegetarian options like oatmeal and fresh fruit. Clean and spacious room. Convenient location near bus stops and the city center. 24h reception, luggage storage, and access to the Moxy bar next door were a plus!

Lovely modern hotel, fresh, clean, friendly staff, great room, no noise, substantial buffet breakfast with many choices, felt very relaxed and comfortable.

Water facilities are super great. Perfect way to unwind from the work pressures. Outside hydromassage pool is awesome! Sauna, Jacuzzi and pool in great shape as well.

Beds are excellent, pillows super comfy, great view from room . Large bath with separate shower, double sinks , loads of tea and coffees in the room ,tv had a great selection of channels, options to Chromecast and YouTube available on it . Staff were excellent. Fantastic gluten free options for breakfast, lunch and dinner and staff are really knowledgeable of gluten free.air con in room .lovely balcony area in the room . Fantastic swimming pool with sauna , Jacuzzi, steam room and outdoor plunge pool area where the pool is open until 10pm which is great . Fantastic place to stay .

Warm and helpful staff. Room spacious and comfortable, tea coffee and delicious chocolate biscuits. Water stations near room and water jug with lid is a nice touch in terms of sustainability. Spa pool and hydro pool area spotlessly clean and a pleasure to experience. Both bar menu and restaurant menu were available in the dining area which provided a nice level of choice. Food was delicious and despite hotel being very busy (due to graduations), service was timely and efficient. The decor of the Kingsley is beautifully balanced, soothing colours and quiet luxury with wonderful use of photography (especially by hydro pool) that gives a nod to past times when the people of cork attended the iconic "Lee Baths".

The room was lovely and very clean. Pool and jacuzzi was really nice too. We got room service breakfast which was delicious!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Very nice hotel in lovely natural sourroundings. Spacious, comfortable, stylish bedroom with large modern bathroom. Good food and friendly service. Three dining options to choose from. I would have liked to have had a quite area to sit in to have a coffee or a drink, as the bar & lobby were very busy & quite noisy. Especially as there were a LOT of young families there over the New Year period and the bar felt that it was just an extension of a restaurant. Breakfast was good but my only gripe was that coffee was not served by the pot, we got a cup of coffee which was cold by the time we ready for it. Also it tasted like machine coffee...... A Cafetiere would be a nice option.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fota, it was so relaxing and the grounds are stunning. Breakfast was lovely and dinner at the Fota Restaurant was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back! Negatives: the burger in the Amber restaurant was very dry and the bun was hard. Food is pricey in the restaurants. There is an additional €25 per person charge to use the spa facilities, this is usually complimentary for hotel guests in other places we have stayed.

Food, breakfast was excellent. I was delighted to see a gluten-free breakfast option. The hot food was to order with cold options self-service. On leaving, we were offered coffee to go. We ate in the main restaurant. The food was delicious. You pay for quality. Staff excellent. We were celebrating 2 birthdays, and the hotel on arrival had a birthday plate in the room and again after dinner. The small touches. Kids loved the swimming pool, and the smell of the spa area was beautiful. Gym - functional and not overcrowded. Rooms - very comfortable bed. Very spacious bathroom. The coffee machine in the room was a welcome bonus.

The staff is extremely friendly and the food was amazing. We got dinner in the fota restaurant and had breakfast in the morning which consisted of a buffet and a la carte for hot breakfast options. The stay was extremely relaxing couldn’t recommend enough.

Stylish rooms with comfortable beds and coffee makers..Outstanding breakfasts! Kind helpful staff who made a real effort..Amazing stay, and I travel often, but this was a truly top notch hotel!

Beautiful hotel, the bar, restaurant and outdoor terraced areas were gorgeous with beautiful views of the city! Really enjoyed the breakfast, you had the option to order from a set menu or from the buffet which had a wide selection of options. The pool was lovely, it was on the cooler side but I quite liked that especially after the jacuzzi. The staff were friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. It was great to have the cinema option as well although we didn’t avail of it as we were only there for one night

We made full use of everything – the cinema, jacuzzi, pool, sauna and steam room – and loved every bit of it!! Our stay was for our anniversary, and the hotel made it extra special by leaving a handwritten note saying congratulations along with a lovely tart dessert. The room was fabulous, spotlessly clean, and the gardens were absolutely spectacular. Having a drink in the “Glass House” at night was such a memorable experience. This is a truly beautiful hotel, clearly very well cared for, and the staff really make you feel looked after. It definitely deserves a 5-star rating – we were genuinely shocked to learn it’s only rated as 4!

- Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, always looking for ways to help and would greet us every time we walked passed. - Great facilities, with plenty of comfy space to relax. - The restaurant was excellent, with a great standard and superb quality. - They have an additional cosy bar which was great to relax at in the evenings and also had some live music - Wonderful views across Cork, both from the bar and restaurant and also from the rooms. - Health club - great gym, large pool which was a good temperature suitable temperature for swimming. Hot tub was also kept at a great temperature. Sauna and steam room also available. The health club as a whole is clean and really well maintained. - Lovely rooms, spacious with good storage space for a long weekend, comfy beds, great water pressure - and kept very clean by the housekeeping team. Our room was also restocked daily with teas, biscuits, etc - The bottles of water supplied in the room are environmentally friendly bottles which is a nice touch. - Additionally to this the shampoo, conditioner and body lotion are all in reusable bottles. - Good breakfast with plenty of self service and menu options, with made to order coffees. - Location - the hotel is along a hill looking over Cork, away from the business city centre. It took us no more than about 20 - 30 min to walk from the hotel into Cork city centre. - We did not drive, but plenty of parking is also available.

Very central, just opposite Blarney Woollen Mills. Check in is at the bar, Dylan was very helpful kudos. Rooms are up 1-2 flight of stairs. Dylan carried my case. Rooms have an aircon and heater plug in machine. Ironing & hairdryer & hot water kettle with tea bags and coffee sachets. Barry's tea. TV with youtube option also. Meals are in the restaurant area. My breakfast was absolutely perfect. Several restaurants next door and opposite including fast food. Lots of options. Centra supermarket was closed early. Clean facilities, hot shower with great pressure. I loved my stay there. Free parking to the rear. 1 minute walk. Blarney is just outside Cork city centre. Its a perfect stay instead of city centre.

Location was excellent. The bar downstairs was very fun and charming, not to mention convenient! Just what you would expect from an Irish pub. The staff of young adults was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and updated. Walkable to Blarney Castle, the Woolen Mills and other bars/restaurants. (Sika is a great breakfast place!)

Honestly, this was the best stay of my entire trip. The room itself was clean, modern, and spacious-even better than I thought it would be. Price was a stellar bargain compared to Cork, and I enjoyed the quieter smaller town of Blarney. The staff were friendly & professional, and throughout my stay I witnessed them frequently going above and beyond. I checked both “lively” and “quiet” because even though the bar was bustling, the room itself was cozy and quiet. I can’t stop thinking about those pillows- and if anyone there has time, please let me know where I can get some for myself 😁

The room was immaculately clean, modern and comfortable. The host Gary was very friendly and welcoming on arrival and throughout. The staff behind the bar were excellent and always had a smile on their face which added to how comfortable I felt during the stay. I had the Chicken Burger for dinner and it was delicious I must say it exceeded my expectations.

Firstly the location is right in the centre of Blarney, so ideal for walking to the castle or the woollen mill. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and a hot powerful shower, we were on the second floor which was very quiet at night even if the bar was still open and as it was warm we had the window open all night. The bar is busy but still found seats every night, it’s a great friendly place to spend the evenings and when we were there had live music on 3 nights. There is also a garden area which is also very pleasant on a warm evening. However, what really makes this place stand out is all the staff, every single one ( and there are a lot) work incredibly hard to make sure you are looked after, I have never met such a group of people so genuinely driven to make you feel welcome, we all felt like we were friends when we left. If only every bar/B&B/ hotel was like this one, keep up the great work, we will be back.

The hotel is an absolutely beautiful building, the comfortable, stylish, opulent entrance/reception area is gorgeous. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. Loved the artwork throughout the hotel. My room was very clean with quality bed linen and comfortable bed, the ensuite was well equipped and although the shower over the bath seemed dated l was grateful for the bath after a long journey. No bar fridge or wine glasses in room which coming from Australia would be standard. Tea/coffee/Water and delicious biscuits provided. Breakfast selection was very good and available until 11 or 12 am which is great. The only (slight) letdown was the very young service staff at breakfast, their inexperience was obvious, more guidance could easily fix this. Unfortunately l think it’s too late to say the same for the rude male bartender at Christie’s. Loved the huge Irish shop on sight. Overall the hotel is great value and l wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or to stay there again.

An amazing hotel walking distance from Blarney castle. The rooms are clean and well maintained. They are very comfortable. The hotel is charming and absolutely welcoming. Whoever the interior designer is, nailed it. The front desk staff were friendly and provided helpful information to help us get around. The buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty off self service options and a great cook to order menu. Sharon was an exceptionally lovely server. I would stay here again and again.

Everything was perfect for us even the weather which really helps, Staff were brilliant Ger & Nile in bar/restaurant couldn't do enough so professional , So friendly and helpful. Aswell as the girls and everyone else we dealt with. From restaurant, bar ,cleaners ,receptionists all were So friendly and helpful.

Hotel is 2 minute walk to Blarney Castle and the little village. Perfect location! Staff is welcoming, very friendly and helpful. They stored our luggage before check-in. The lobby is darling with plenty of seating. They have a small bar which is just lovely. Bartender Carolyn is amazing. Smiles all around, super service. My husband is an ice hoarder and she took great care of him, served his cocktails exactly how he likes them. There are snack vending machines near the rooms…very convenient if your kids want a late snack. You get a coupon for use at the adjacent Blarney Mills store, which is helpful if you need to grab souvenirs. That shop is expensive to exorbitant!

The lobby is gorgeous and the décor was fantastic, very well done, tasteful and chic! The wonderful woman who greeted us upon arrival was so sweet, helpful and friendly! The elevator worked smoothly and was never too busy. Our room was comfortable, spacious and well laid-out. The big, beautiful window with the seating area, was a lovely surprise. We also appreciated the spacious bathroom and the in-room safe! As for location, it's perfect for anyone wanting to see the Blarney Castle and gardens! Breakfast in the Loom was delicious and having the separate area for guests is much appreciated.

Beautiful atmospheric building, spotlessly clean and well organised, friendly helpful staff that go out of their way to attend to your every need, delicious breakfast, also has a comfy cosy cabin with amazing views for afternoon reading or for an evening drink and a sauna in the lovely gardens. Great location with great views into Cork! Excellent hotel, well maintained with friendly and welcoming staff. On site parking. The breakfast choice was rather limited, but well-cooked and delicious. Location is perfect for exploring central Cork on the foot; then prepare to walk uphill on the way back but manageable. Rooms are rather small, but they are just to clean up and sleep, which was fine.

Property has a historic feel and is well-maintained. Staff was very attentive and helpful. The back garden area (overlooking water and city) and sauna are wonderful spaces we enjoyed. Breakfast is tasty and a good value. Availability of off-street parking a nice perk. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location is convenient - we walked to the English Market and down the hill for dinner.

Clean, comfy bed and pillows, spotless bathroom with good shower. Breakfast was amazing, great selection of food available, set you up for the whole day. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely garden to spend time reading if you want. and sauna on site also. Walking distance into town. Parking on site.

Gabriel House Guesthouse is a fabulous hotel in a terrific location in Cork. The room was spacious, very clean with comfortable bed.The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options. We highly recommend staying at Gabriel House Guesthouse.

Beautiful hotel with clearly a lot of history and amazing foyer complete with chandelier. Our room was spacious and very clean with a lovely cosy bed. The Piano Bar was also pretty amazing and had a real sense of grandeur and occasion. The property was also very central and easy to get to the airport from the nearby bus stop. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. Overall it was a fab place to stay as we haven’t been to Cork before and clearly a Cork institution.

This is a top notch hotel with so much history attached to it. Imperial offers excellent facilities including an on-site bar, restaurant, and a pastry cafe. The bed was so comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And the location was within walking distance of all the best sites, shopping, and restaurants. We also booked services at the spa on the premises there, and it was the best! I would stay here again if I return to Cork!

The location was perfect, really central, the decor was amazing, staff really friendly and helpful. Good was amazing, drinks and bars were beautiful We caught the bus from the airport to the city, really easy to use, once you have the app installed.

A welcoming drink was a lovely surprise, staff very polite, friendly and professional. Our room, 412 spotlessly clean, our bed comfortable, breakfast was tasty. Only, the room needs some renovations, in our opinion, it's little bit tired.

We were warmly greeted by the lovely Leire who is an absolute gem in reception. A beautiful foyer, coffee shop, restaurant & bar plus very comfortable & beautifully maintained rooms. Not large rooms by any standard, but this is an historic building so enjoy its quirky & unique charm. Fantastic location & very helpful staff.

Rhys at reception was very professional, courteous and friendly. The bathroom towels were crisp white, large and fluffy. The water pressure from the shower in the bathroom was fabulous! One of the best showers I've had in a long time! The television worked with a great choice of channels to watch from. The room was spacious and comfortable. Complimentary water was available in the bedroom, which is always a very appreciated touch. Ample parking available. Air-conditioned bedroom. The reception area is very comfortable and spacious and a lovely place to relax in with so many comfortable sofas. The New Yorker restaurant is so lovely. The decor and room layout is very impressive and all the staff were so courteous and attentive. Amazing how quiet and peaceful the hotel is to sleep in, given how close it is situated to the airport.

I have stayed here 20 plus times. It's incredibly convenient for visiting family and is great when you arrive at Cork Airport at an antisocial time of night. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Of particular note is the tall blonde lady (apologies I always keep meaning to ask her name) who always seems to be the breakfast room greeter when I stay at the hotel. She is friendly and incredibly efficient at her job, seemingly doing many tasks simultaneously but always has time to welcome and check guests have what they need. Breakfast is very good with a wonderful choice of full Irish, breads, pastries, yoghurts, fresh porridge, bircher muesli, fruits and gluten free options etc. You couldn't ask for more. The rooms are above average size and are always spotlessly clean with crisp, clean bed linen and comfy beds and pillows.

This was a fantastic experience. It was one of the nicest hotel rooms I've ever stayed in, in Ireland. The room was large with a very clever layout, with a balcony overlooking the airport and a view out to the hills. This was much better than anything I could have imagined. The hotel is located in a business park, right next to the airport but its barely 5km from Cork city center. And though there isn't too much walkable (in terms of shops, etc), the hotel experience itself more than makes up for that. From the large, spacious and tastefully decorated lobby, and beyond. The temperature in the room was perfect. The working area was a very nice and practical touch, the bed was comfortable, and the hygiene levels were top class. And though it is standard for hotels these days, its still nice to arrive to 2 bottles of water. The little fridge in the room came in very handy too. Breakfast was included in our room rate but we're not breakfast people, so didn't avail. But again it shows the great value being offered. Price wise this was cheaper than anything in Cork city by a good ways. And Cork city centre hotels with parking are few and far between. This was a far better option. Better in terms of quality and better in terms of value. We will definitely be back

It's remarkably convenient for both city/airport, yet peaceful. The room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable with great amenities. Staff were professional, and we appreciated the free parking and enjoyable breakfast.

Very nice and comfortable place to stay. Very modern with comfortable beds. A open concept bar and a delicious breakfast buffet that doesn’t skimp. Central location with a friendly staff. The only thing I wish is they had a more Irish them as far as music and decor. Seems most travelers at the hotel were couples and more mature in age. Wouldn’t hesitate in staying at this establishment on future travels.

Really enjoyed staying here at the Moxy in Cork! Was walkable to many things we wanted to see, as well as clean and quiet! Staff was friendly and helpful, room was spotless and cozy, and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice stay, location is very convenient for walking and starting tours. Everything was from one to 5 blocks away. Nice view of River Lee. Hotel staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. My wife had a knee issue and staff were very helpful in getting ice and asking what they could do to help. Food was very good, had two dinners and breakfasts.

My go-to hotel is Cork. The staff is always friendly. It’s clean and modern and the location is absolutely perfect to everything. Bed wasn’t the most comfortable. There’s form and there’s hard and this was on the harder side. The rooms are very small, but I’m only there to sleep and shower. I also wish the hotel bar was open and hour or so later.

I loved the whole vibe of this hotel! The lobby bar is a bonus! The rooms were cute and clean. We especially loved the staff! Charlotte, at the reception desk was so pleasant, friendly, and very professional, she was really helpful with all our questions! She was so patient with us. Lauren, was so kind, and professional as well, I felt, I was talking with a friend. Ricky, was a great bartender, and told us a lot of great history about the area, and gave us a great recommendation, where to hear wonderful local music! Our experience was just lovely! We wish we could have stayed longer! I would recommend this hotel, and would return, when we can!

The apartment was fabulous—spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, offering everything we needed for a comfortable night. The location on MacCurtain Street was perfect, allowing easy access to all the great restaurants, shops, and attractions in Cork city. Despite being so central, it was quiet and relaxing. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Cork. I’ll definitely be back!”

The shower was amazing, exactly what you'd need after a long hot day! The area around is full of restaurants and bars if you wanted to eat out or have a few pints. Plus you're only a ten min walk from the city center! Overall we had a fabulous stay and my partner and I will be back!

Amazing lamb shank dinner at Greenes restaurant, Cask Bar was fun with great staff! The waterfall on the rocks was beautiful!! Hop on Hop Off Bus is outside hotel Paddywagon Bus tour was down the street, went to Kinsale, Blarney Castle, Cobh 1 day next day Ring of Kerry and horse drawn carriage ride in Killarney National Park!! great Pub and local musicians down the street at Sin E’ very small crowded but fun!!

My stay at No.58 Apartments in Cork City Centre was fantastic overall. The apartment was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city centre, with easy access to great restaurants, shops, and attractions. Despite being so central, it was quiet and peaceful, allowing for a restful night.

The hotel is in a lovely location very close to the town centre and bus station. The building looked very impressive from the outside and the terrace with a waterfall was beautiful. The entry to the hotel was through a restaurant/bar terrace which made it a bit awkward, especially when people were having drinks at night. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very big and had anything we needed and the bed was very comfortable. The shower pressure and temperature of the water were not great and the layout of the shower meant that some water ended up on the door and you could tell it was starting wearing out. It was a nice hotel and we might go again, but it could have been better for the money we paid for it.

This hotel offered a welcome change of pace from the traditional styles often found in Cornwall. Parking was incredibly easy and affordable at the adjacent train station ground level parking lot (accessible via Horgan's Quay), just steps from the entrance. The hotel itself is modern and trendy, complete with great SPA facilities we regretfully didn't have time to use. While some might be concerned about train station noise, it didn't bother us. However, we proactively requested a room on the opposite side and were granted it, resulting in a super quiet stay. Our room was equally modern, featuring very comfortable, cozy bed and a fantastic waterfall shower. Don't miss the upscale bar on the top floor for a relaxing drink after exploring (it is also a restaurant). Cork's old town is easily walkable from here. While not directly in the heart of town, we felt perfectly safe and enjoyed the stroll back to the hotel, even after visiting a couple of pubs. Don't miss a visit to Saint Fin Barre's Cathedral.

Absolutely amazing experience in this hotel. From start to finish. Was met by a lovely guy called Cian at reception who started of the day with such friendly and inviting smile! He made my experience straight away! Thoughout the hotel, staff are amazing! I have never felt so looked after in any other hotel! 10/10 hospitality! The food in Sophie’s rooftop was amazing! Also visited the pool the next morning and the guy on the leisure reception was so helpful and so friendly! Cannot get over how the staff treated us! 100% will be returning again…and again!! Also want to mention the fragrance throughout the hotel, it is memorable! Hotel is so clean and modern! Well worth a visit! Love love LOVE!!

The decor in our room (super room 106) was beautiful and modern . My partner and I had dinner in the upstairs terrace restaurant it was really delicious and with stunning views of you are lucky to get window seats. The reception had a dj on downstairs at night it which was setting the tone for many residents who where heading out while having a drink at reception bar. Staff very friendly . Because close proximity to train station there is earplugs supplied but it didn’t bother me the noise . Also the vibe of the hotel was modern yet qwerky , I love the concept of the swings beside the elevators downstairs and upstairs. There is a mini fridge also in the room if you want to avail of drinks and there also is a couple of Irish snacks to (there is a room charge for them) Instead my partner qnd I bought a couple of cans and threw them into the fridge keep them cool as the weather was hot just for a night cap so fridge is a bonus .

Nice room, really comfortable bed, amazing shower. Loved the aesthetic throughout the hotel, very cool - and it smells really good too. Enjoyed the pool and sauna/steam room. Delicious breakfast also. The Dean is pricey, but we felt well looked after and enjoyed the luxury ☺️ All staff were friendly and helpful. Receptionist sorted out a gift card part-payment with absolutely no fuss. It really was a treat to stay.

The staff - especially in the restaurant - were very friendly and efficient. The food in the restaurant was generally very good (apart from the pizza which was mediocre) and the views were great. The family room was spacious and well laid out - great to have separate bunks for the kids. Great shower, nice decor. Everything very clean (small exception: basin waste was partly blocked by gunk...) The gym, pool and changing areas are great. All very well kept, not too busy. The pool area is really lovely - though the pool itself is small (not suitable for laps) - it was quiet when we were there and we really enjoyed it.

A beautiful hotel/bed and breakfast. The front desk staff were so nice and friendly and helpful. Also, the rooms are spacious and roomy and very modern, clean and bright. Beds were comfortable and clean. We had a four-bed room with twin beds and plenty of room for all of us and our luggage. Also, the bathroom was huge and excellent water pressure in the shower with nice plentiful hot water. The room had a lovely view of the Cathedral and the harbor. Also, the breakfast room staff was a very lovely man and woman. We really enjoyed talking to them and they went over and above to make sure we had what we needed at breakfast. This was the most plentiful and delicious breakfast we had while traveling in Ireland. It was perfect! From the hotel/suites you can easily walk down to town and the harbor including the Deck of Cards Houses and the Cathedral. The hotel is on the top of the hill so you will need to be able to walk back up. Those who aren't able to handle the walk up may need to get transportation. There is parking in town if you prefer to drive, however it is very walkable if you are able. We walked everywhere and loved it!

This a small, quiet, charming hotel. It is very comfortable and clean. There are some wonderful views from the very quaint bar and the breakfast room. It is situated half way up a steep hill in the centre of Cobh. There is free parking which is great. Samuel, who manned the reception and the bar, was extremely friendly and very helpful. And the lady who served us a very tasty breakfast the next morning was also very friendly and helpful. I would have no hesistation about staying here again, and the prices were very good also

We was greeted to a warm friendly welcome by reception, the hotel is modern and clean, has a great bar area and an excellent restaurant, our room was modern with a clean comfortable bed , the bathroom was clean and spacious, the information book is one of the best I've seen absolutely full of information, our breakfast was hot and very tasty and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our stay was excellent on all levels ,well done to the WHOLE team

Amazingly friendly and very available staff who took care of us for the entire week we stayed in this conveniently located hotel that offers free parking, amazing Irish full breakfast, bar, Chinese Restaurant on site and an amazing view as well. Cobh is truly a relaxing town to visit that offers getting in touch with history if you visit the Titanic Experience especially. It is such a vibrant, colorful and rare jem located only 30 minutes by car or commuter train or shuttle bus to Cork to experience the city life in the south of Ireland. Housekeeping was excellent and the beds were comfortable too with a safe in the room and comfy pillows as well. We look forward to coming back in the future. Clelia Maria Duff and family. The receptionists were friendly and when we arrived our suitcase was carried to the room. The bar staff were great and loved to chat. The Asian food in the restaurant was good. The junior suite was spacious with a great view of the cathedral, cork harbour and spike island. We enjoyed having a drink on the balcony with great views in the evenings. The lady serving breakfast on the Wednesday of our trip was friendly and ran the breakfast service efficiently

The hotel is very large and very well equipped. The spaces are large and cosy, both private and communal for guests. The breakfast and dinner room is very nice. Breakfast is excellent and plentiful and it was very pleasant to have breakfast with Schubert's music playing in the background. The rooms are large and very clean, the bathroom too. The staff is sometimes very friendly, sometimes less so. When we arrived the receptionist was rather rude, bordering on unfriendly. We asked about dinner and she did not tell us that we needed to make a reservation, so when we went down to dinner there was no room and we had to wait. Fortunately the restaurant manager found us a table and was very helpful. There is plenty of space to park and also to charge electric vehicles.

Double rooms were very spacious, very well decorated and the bathrooms were very nice. I travelled with my elderly mother and the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The food was very good and the Guinness was exceptional. It was quiet on a night and the beds were clean, comfy and the linen was lovely. The location to Cork and the main highways is very convenient. The choice for breakfast is very good, it's freshly cooked and was delicious!! Can't wait to return!

Lovely helpful staff 👏 spotless , beautiful hotel , comfortable, modern but cosy at the same time ...the pillows were chefs kiss 💋....beautiful cocktails, and tranquil peaceful bar , so lovely to see someone's dog with them too. Big smart tv too which was a huge bonus.

Property was fantastic, styled beautifully, very luxurious and spacious! extremely clean and very comfortable. staff were all helpful and lovely. A great space to unwind both in room and in the bar area. Only thing was we wished we had of stayed longer! Dinner menu was delightful.

The hotel was stunning. Loved the art deco. The bedrooms were really spacious and comfortable. The staff were lovely, helpful, and very welcoming. The restaurant was beautiful and the food was incredible. The service was impeccable throughout. Valerie and Ruwan were especially attentive and engaging. Would highly recommend staying and eating there.

The Maldron Hotel South Mall in Cork is a great place to stay—clean, modern, and just a short 10-minute walk from shops, restaurants, and city sights. The rooms are fresh and comfortable, with cozy beds and surprisingly roomy bathrooms. Perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The staff were incredibly helpful. They held my bags for several hours after checkout and even called a taxi to the airport without me needing to ask. That kind of thoughtful service makes all the difference. And when you're hungry, you don’t need to go far. Just head downstairs—every meal I had there was delicious.

While the property and the location were quite good, I didn't particularly care for the service. Their restaurant is subpar, breakfast was horrible and needs upgrading. We spent 9 nights at this hotel, frequented the restaurant quite a bit and received a terrible visit on our last night there. We asked for a table in the restaurant and were told that since we didn't "book" we had to sit in the bar area. It was really noisy in there. When I looked into the restaurant, there were empty tables (?). THEN, they closed the partition between the restaurant and the bar.......to keep the noise level from going into the restaurant???? That was a low blow for me. I wanted to let the server know how offended I was but spoke to the manager instead. We wanted a quick and easy last meal as we had to get up the next morning for an early flight......yes, spending 9 days in a hotel only to be treated with such disrespect.

Liked the location and the whole appearance of the hotel. Staff were all very helpful and accommodating. Clean tidy rooms. We had breakfast in the lobby and it was delicious. Rooms very comfortable and spacious. The hotel was very welcoming. The downside to mine and my friends room was cigarette ends outside the window. And a stain on the shower floor. As we only stayed 1 night and had a very busy schedule it was only mentioned when checking out. I had taken pics and showed to the staff who said did we tell anybody on check in. We did not as arrived early left luggage went to Blarney Castle. Then after check in was going for a meal and to The Opera House to see a show. So very busy. The cigarette ends were noticed next morning. The shower was not seen without glasses on We all said we would love to stay again for longer and would look at this hotel first but report anything amiss at once.

This Hotel was Excellent! We booked two rooms for two nights each, to be able to enjoy Cork. When I booked them, I wasn't sure if both rooms would be King beds, because of the description. But turns out that they have a King, and a Super King (apparently a super King is just a little larger than the King) So that worked out great for all of us. The Maldron has a great staff, so professional, whether it was the front desk, room service, the dining areas or the bar. The hotel looked brand new, the rooms were spotless the bathrooms were great- we loved the "rain shower". The beds were SO Comfortable! The pricing was great also. The Maldron (South Mall), is just around the corner from streets filled with really great restaurants, shopping, wine bars, pastry/coffee shops etc. Parking is available through them 24/7, but not on site. We chose to park at the Mall because we didn't need our car in the evening, or till after 8am when the garage opens. But check the hours first! Everything we needed was within walking distance from the Maldron. Great Hotel, great area for food right around the corner from it! Highly recommend!

Staff were friendly & helpful, room was clean…nice to have a restaurant, bar, and coffee shop on the premises. Very convenient to Blarney Castle and several lovely restaurants and pubs.

Beautiful property. The beds were very comfortable. My child loved swimming in the pool at the Leisure Center and playing mini golf. Our dinner at the onsite bar was excellent. My husband loved the Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steamroom.

This was one of the best stays. We went for my Fiancé’s birthday and they arranged such a pretty surprise and also gave complimentary nonalcoholic drink. Dinner and breakfast was on point. Thank you so much for making the stay very special. Not to forget jacuzzi,steam room and sauna were the most relaxing experience 💯

My husband and I went to Ireland to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We took the train from Dublin to Cork and then rented a car for the rest of our trip. We stayed at the Maryborough Hotel and Spa in Douglas near Cork for three nights where we used it as a base to explore nearby places such as Kinsale. We were welcomed warmly by Alex who gave us a room with a balcony and view of the beautiful grounds with gorgeous flowers and trees. The hotel room had a delicious little cake and congratulatory note from John, the Customer Relations Manager, as a wonderful gesture for our anniversary! The hotel was very elegant and had an amazing spa! For breakfast, there was a delicious buffet selection and we could order from the menu as well. We enjoyed the huge variety of food and I can say from all the places that we have eaten porridge, the Maryborough Hotel had the most delicious porridge of all. We also had afternoon tea which was a fun experience! For dinner we ordered dinner from local area restaurants which my husband picked up in the lobby. We enjoyed walking on the beautiful grounds and taking lots of pictures. While we didn’t use the spa services, we did see how tranquil it was and the extensive spa offerings they had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Maryborough and recommend it for a relaxing experience.

We had a truly lovely stay at the Maryborough Hotel. The building and grounds are beautiful, creating a peaceful, luxurious atmosphere from the moment you arrive – with easy parking a definite plus. Our room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with thoughtful touches like welcome prosecco and chocolates much appreciated. The spa was a real highlight, especially the women’s-only area and tranquil Zen garden. Spa staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. Dinner was excellent, and staff throughout the hotel were consistently kind and helpful. Breakfast was good, though service could be a little inconsistent during busy times. A minor note: the shower in our room could use some attention. Overall, a fantastic stay in a gorgeous setting with excellent service – we’d love to return.

Ms. Dierdre, the proprietor, was amazing. She was welcoming, helpful, and so, so kind. The house was amazing with a roaring fireplace and comfy chairs. It's the kind of place you could truly make yourself at home. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! And the add-on options were delicious! We got the bacon and eggs and were so glad we did, it was the perfect addition to the already plentiful breakfast. Make sure to try the overnight oats that she makes herself. They are the best I've ever had! The women helping Ms. Dierdre were as sweet as her, super helpful, and very accommodating for our six-year old. We are already planning another trip to stay with her for a longer time. All our love, Ms. D!

My sister and I stayed here for one night on an Ireland road trip and we wish we had planned for another night in Cobh. Upon arrival Dee was so friendly and welcoming and was flexible with a late check-in. Our room was very comfortable and clean and breakfast was delicious and filling. Robin Hill house is set on a quiet street about 20 minutes walking from the center of Cobh. We had a nice walk down to town and were able to safely walk home after an evening in the pubs. I highly recommend a stay at Robin Hill House!

One of the best beds I've ever slept in. Everyone there was very friendly, helpful and even though I was only there one night, made my stay peaceful and welcoming. A cozy fire in the living room, a chance to meet new people and a spacious, quiet bedroom - if you're looking at Robin Hill, stop looking and book it before they fill up!!

We stayed in the dog-friendly cabin which is clean, has everything you need and is very spacious. It gives a kind of cosy cabin in the woods vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The dog isn’t allowed in the main house for breakfast but that was no issue for us.

A great, central location beside the river, main shopping streets, and lots of bars/restaurants. A comfortable hotel in a historic building. Staff were friendly, there's a nice modern bar and breakfast was good. Parking was subsidised and 2 minutes walk from hotel.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room was a perfect temperature. Hotel and room was spotlessly clean. We ate both dinner and breakfast and both meals were amazing. Could not fault this hotel.

The location was ideal, in the middle of the city centre, we had a lovely, comfortable, spacious room with a nice view of the city over looking river. Also had the opportunity to check in early online so once I provided time of arrival, luckily our room was ready which was very convenient. Our stay included breakfast which was delicious with a lovely view again of the city and very stylish room to dine in. Really enjoyed our stay despite being very brief, would definitely stay again!

I loved the view over the river Lee from our room as well as from the breakfast room/restaurant. Exquisite breakfast with multiple choices of a la carte hot food as well as a fine buffet. Breakfast service was eager to fulfill special requests for e.q. Decaf Coffee.

The staff were absolutely amazing. So friendly & helpful. Also, when we said at time of booking it was for a birthday weekend, they left us a treat in the room on arrival with a handwritten birthday card & brownies. Fab location. Close by to everything. Lovely building right on the river. Great breakfast, delicious. Comfy soft beds. Slept very well.
