I was greeted promptly by a very nice gentleman, I was impressed by the organisation, the checking process and filling up a card for breakfast with an amazing choice of options. It felt like a hotel. The rooms was perfectly clean and cosy, same as the bathroom with a massive shower. Fresh, clean and scented towels. Exceptional. I stayed in 4 or 5 stars hotel with facilities not as good as this. Incredible. Full Irish Breakfast was decent, tasty and fresh, and a plate of fresh fruit, and with a great choice on the buffet also. I was so pleased. Thank you for this place, keep up the great work.

Exceptional Bed & Breakfast. Located a short walk from restaurants, bars & shops. A short drive to Lahinch beach. Modern decor, large car park, all amenities top class. Room very spacious, spotless and beds extremely comfortable. Hosts very friendly and informative. Excellent breakfast. Extremely good value for money. Will stay again.

Nicky and his family run a modern, plush and welcoming establishment. Rooms are renovated and luxurious. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and accommodating. Restaurants are walking distance from the hotel and the Cliffs of Moher are a short drive away.

Definitely one of the best places we ever stayed! The rooms are beautiful, modern looking and very very clean. The towels were really clean and smelling like flowers. The bed it’s comfortable and they have a big TV. They have iron, board and hairdryer if you need, and also a strong fan for the warmer days. The breakfast you have to order the day before what option you want. We chose the full Irish and it was lovely. They also serve a basked of various breads on the table and the scones were so fresh and delicious!!! There’s plenty of parking. The location it’s perfect to explore Clare and the Burren. Just 16 minutes from the Cliffs and Close to all the beautiful attractions. The staff is so nice and warm. we really want to give our thanks for the lovely gift and card they left on the bed to celebrate our anniversary. It was really emotional and special for us and we will never forget the gesture. Hope to visit the place soon!!!

One of the best B&B's I have ever stayed in, room was comfortable, shower was amazing after a long day of touring, the breakfast was fresh and delicious and the parking was free and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful I have zero complaints it was a 10/10. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Cliffs or touring the area.

What a gem of a place. The best place we stayed over a week of visiting Ireland. Set back off the main road in Doolin down a small lane and only a few minutes drive to the local pub. The guest house has its own parking outside, so very accessible. The rooms were all lovely and thoughtfully furnished. Lovely decor and very comfortable beds. Spacious with a very welcome tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits! The bathrooms were large and everything was exceptionally clean. Room 2 has beautiful views. The guest house also offers breakfast which was very good value and comprehensive, with the option of a cooked breakfast or continental. We met the owner of the guest house while having breakfast and he was very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this guest house if you are planning to stay in Doolin.

Very easy check in to this beautiful modern accommodation. Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and provided advice on local walks. A lovely comfortable bed with tea and coffee facilities and water provided in the room. Choice of continental or full Irish breakfast and they were extremely tasty. Within easy walking distance of two trad musicpubs who provide tasty meals and also Doolin Village with a variety of restaurants and shops.

What a beautiful place to stay! Our room was spacious, very very clean, comfortable bed and pillows, easy to find and helpful instructions for checking in. Breakfast looked delicious, loved the coffee! Gorgeous property with two adorable kitties and a doggie, made me feel right at home. The hosts are delightful and friendly and helpful, I loved my stay at their beautiful lodge!

Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of everything & breakfast room was really cosy. Loved that tea/coffee was available at any time should you require it. Location was quiet but only a short walk to nearby pubs & restaurants. The B&B was modern, spotless & really comfortable.

Absolutely loved it here Blackberry lodge is exceptional our room was spotlessly clean and spacious with stunning views the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and made us very welcome . Breakfast was lovely everything was so fresh and tasty would definitely stay here again

It is very quiet place, everything was perfect, room very clean and cosy (was worry about it because nights can be very cold in February - unnecessarily- temperature in the room was perfect). Hot shower with a good water pressure and very comfy beds. I slept like baby. You can prepare any breakfast you wish thanks to clean and fully equipped kitchen with a beautiful view. You can even enjoy your meal on the fresh air thanks to outdoor picnic table. Only 2 km from a very nice pub with traditional music and delicious ale 🍺 . 5 min drive to Cliffs of Moher or Burren. Highly recommend, definitely will be back.

This is a great holiday home. Very comfortable and clean and friendly host's. I took my milk but everything for and decent breakfast wasn't there. Cereal fruits tea and coffee machine. Even hot chocolate for my daughter. Lovely terrace out back for a glass of wine. Peaceful and relaxing. For some action the village of doolin is a 35 minute walk. A lovely walk with plenty of cow's and gorgeous scenery

We loved this property! Our room was cozy, quiet, the bed comfortable, the shower had great pressure and the temperature adjusted easily . We enjoyed the common kitchen area where we visited with other guests. Breakfast was yummy, continental as described. I especially enjoyed the granola and additional options. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful! Harvest Moon B&B was a great find!

This was an all-around lovely place. The location was perfect, our rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast supplies in the kitchen were a treat. We enjoyed eating breakfast and drinking tea at the table outside which overlooked a peaceful view and petting the owner’s dog and cats.

This is a great B&B. The host is really friendly and helpful, the room was small but very comfortable and beautifully finished. The bathroom was excellent with a huge powerful shower. As an addition you have use of a kitchen, so grab some soup, bread and cold cuts, and have a break from restaurant food. This B&B is remote, with wonderful views from the kitchen and patio. Almost total silence.... wonderful !

We had a wonderful stay, as always to The Armada Hotel. Upon arrival, Hayley had left a bottle of prosecco and card in our room welcoming us back. On our first night we dined in the restaurant, our server Ian was very professional. The host at breakfast was also very professional and attentive and welcomed us back again to the hotel. In the bar both the manager and our server provided excellent service and we're very attentive, the manager also remembered that we had visited the bar earlier in the day for lunch. During the night, there were some people walking around the hotel floor at around 1am. When I contacted reception John answered promptly, took note of the issue raised and it was resolved shortly after. The only feedback I have was how the food runner responded, when we asked him if our drinks were on the way. He simply replied that's the bars job and walked off. A more professional and helpful responds was expected Overall we enjoyed our stay and we look forward to returning again soon.

We popped in to the Spanish Armada on a recent 3 generation family (8 people) week end away to Clare for some breakfast. We were delighted we did ! The hotel was very busy as it was peek breakfast time but the staff were friendly and anxious to accommodate our party - we received a warm welcome and were quickly seated in the restaurant. The decor is fab - lovely beach vibes & super comfortable with a really lovely atmosphere - fab buffet element with gorgeous food such as fresh smoothies, fresh fruit & banana bread aswell as a fabulous hot food buffet - there is also a menu for straight from the chef (poached eggs, omelette etc). We received fantastic service, thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast here and would highly recommend to others. We will definitely be back to this hotel on our next break to Clare.

There were 6 of us and used superior double,ocean view suite and seascape suite. The superior double (121) was excellent on spaciousness and decor and view. The ocean view suite was spacious and the view was good. The Seascape Suite (122) was amazing with the copper bath, couch and electric fireplace and the view was expansive. The other seascape suite (149) was different without the couch and the fireplace but was nice with the copper bath and great view. The food was great—breakfast and dinner. The creme brûlée was divine. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to make sure that our needs were met.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming, from the reception staff to the restaurant/ bar staff. We had dinner in the restaurant which was amazing and the breakfast was superb too. The rooms were very clean and spacious.

We stayed at the Armada Hotel in Clare in October, 2025 as part of our Vagabond 12 Day Giant Irish Tour trip to Ireland, and it was absolutely wonderful! The location right by the water is unbeatable — waking up to stunning ocean views was a real highlight of the trip. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and well-appointed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We especially loved the combination of charm and modern convenience — the hotel has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, but also all the amenities you could want. It was the perfect base for exploring Clare’s beautiful coastline and nearby attractions. If you’re visiting the area, we highly recommend the Armada Hotel — great location, wonderful staff, and breathtaking views that make your stay unforgettable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Knockaquilla B&B. Marie was lovely, friendly and helpful. We had brought some soup for our dinner because we wanted to stay in and our host was kind enough to to reheat our soup and allow us to eat in the breakfast room. Our room was spacious, clean, bright and deigned to perfection. My husband enjoyed a lovely run and enjoyed the surroundings. Very close to Cliffs of Moher and other sight-seeing areas. The town was nearby to to go to pub and eat but chose not to this time. Our breakfast was delicious and had variety. I appreciated arriving to a window open in our room because I like some fresh air and often have windows open at home. Thanks Marie.

It was so comfortable and clean and fresh. Lovely decor and a warm homely feel. Our host Marie was wonderful and accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was bright with a lovely view across the fields. Breakfast was healthy and fresh with lots of choices. You must try Marie’s homemade brown bread… loved it!!

Beautiful room, totally private with en-suite bathroom. Our bed was super comfy and we had the best rest here. Our breakfast was fresh and there was quite a variety of foods to choose from, from fresh fruit cut and uncut. To freshly baked waffles and bread, more than enough coffees and teas to suit anyone's tastes and pallete. Our hostess was very accommodating and friendly and ensured that our stay was comfortable and welcoming.

I loved the room, extremely modern and great colours! The bed and pillows were extremely comfy. The breakfast was a continental cold buffet and was delicious, the homemade brown bread was so tasty!! Marie was lovely and couldn’t do enough for her guests. The bathroom was great and spacious - I was so relaxed staying here and slept great!

Decklin, Cecelia and Daniel were wonderful hosts! They were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The guest rooms were very clean and comfortable and the grounds were absolutely lovely! The food was outstanding and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners in the hotel. Nothing disappointed. One of my favorite things was to enjoy my morning coffee in bed which had a view of the cliffs in the distance and wildflowers in the foreground. The castle tour gave a glimpse back into history which I really enjoyed. Doolin is a short drive from the hotel and we enjoyed the quaint homes, shops and pubs which also served amazing food. In the evenings there is live Irish music and a fun, friendly vibe. The Cliffs of Moher is a short drive and a must see! The coastal walk was closed when we visited but it was still so beautiful with the area that was open. We took the Doolin Ferry to the Aran Islands which I recommend doing. Innis Mor is fascinating and definitely added a layer of history and charm to our trip. Ballinalacken Castle Hotel was the perfect base for our 4 day stay and we enjoyed it so much. We wanted to be closer to Cliffs of Moher so we could get an early start there in the morning and this was a wonderful hotel between Galway and the Cliffs. It is remote, but oh so worth it. Only about 30 mins from the Cliffs. It was originally a house built in the 1600s and then converted into a hotel with 16 guest rooms. It was beyond charming. Our room was comfortable with modern accommodations, but it was styled in the older period, appropriate for this location. The bed was comfortable; room was quiet. We had a beautiful view of the Atlantic Ocean from our room (in the distance) and could see the southern end of the Cliffs of Moher from the property. It is up on a hill so there isn't much to block your view. It is very peaceful here. If you need to relax, you sure can here. We were there on the last Tuesday of the month when they do a special 7 course dinner paired with different wines. We are not huge foodies or drink wine. But this was a lot of fun and a great way to try something new. We tried everything. The food was very good. We could tell that others really enjoyed the wines as well. We just aren't wine drinkers. The owners really care that the guests have a a nice stay and we did. This is a place I would certainly return to if I am back in this area.

Anyone looking for an intimate wedding venue should definitely consider Ballinalacken Castle Country House. We had our wedding here recently with 40 family and friends all staying in the hotel. We had the most amazing time. The service was exemplary with all staff making us feel welcome and like nothing was too much of an ask. They couldn't have been more accommodating. The food is outstanding, Luca was lovely to work with developing the wedding menu and doing our cake. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful it all was. We stayed the full weekend and the service, food ext. remained consistently fantastic throughout. Breakfast was lovely with tasty baked treats. We had a tour of the castle to top it off, which our guests really enjoyed. We had the most amazing views and location for photos and were blessed with a spectacular sunset. We had our ceremony infront of the Castle ruins, reception in the garden (we had glorious weather). Dinner in the restaurant and the after party with music in the bar. We had an amazing time, Ballinalacken Castle Country House exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the whole team for making it all so special.

We had a comfortable 3 night stay at this small family-run hotel set in a quiet location on a hill with a view of the Arran Islands. You can see the view from the quiet comfortable lounge. There is also a separate little bar room where they had live music one night. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was good, as were the dinners. We really enjoyed being shown round the castle ruin in the grounds by the owner. The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring this beautiful area and has plenty of parking. We were glad we chose it.

Our stay at this hotel was an unforgettable experience. The room was beautiful, the beds incredibly comfortable, the dinner was excellent in a beautiful dining room with delicious food and a large selection of excellent Irish whiskey, the service at dinner was attentive and very nice. The breakfast was delicious and pleasant. Overall, a very romantic environment, attentive and nice staff and the owner, who prepared a private and unforgettable tour of the castle for us. We will long remember our best accommodation during our Irish road trip, and we will definitely come back here. THANK YOU

Spanish Point and Armada House was one of our favorite stops on our two-week trip to Ireland. We were greeted with champagne, and our ocean-view king bedroom with a private contemporary bathroom was beautiful. A letter welcoming us was on the desk, along with some chocolates. The house is old and grand with gorgeous antiques. It is within walking distance of the Armada Hotel, a large upscale oceanfront hotel, restaurant, and pub. The pub was the first thing there, supposedly, and they later added on with the hotel. We loved the pub and had a wonderful meal there. We chose this over the contemporary restaurant with marvelous ocean views-it was pricey. When we got back from dinner, I went downstairs to read in one of the glorious rooms. Alanna once again greeted me. She was wonderful and made me tea, brought out cookies and made a fire in the magnificent fireplace. Armada House is a luxury experience with how the staff care for their guests. There were many rooms to enjoy the ocean view downstairs even a chess board set up in front of one of the picture windows with a table and chairs. They have a lovely bar also with many different types of Irish whiskeys, amongst other beverages. Breakfast was delicious, and the presentation was spectacular. We would absolutely recommend this inn and will hopefully come back soon!

We felt welcome at this boutique hotel even before our arrival, with emails offering assistance a week or so before our arrival. This level of welcome continued when we arrived, and continued through our albeit short stay. The owners, Aoife and Pat introduced themselves at breakfast on the first morning, and on the second morning we were greeted by name and without being asked, provided with our preferred coffee for me and tea for my husband. Great service! Our room was spacious, very well maintained, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a view of the ocean, which enhanced everything well. Breakfast was excellent - tasty and well presented and in a delightful dining room. There is also an excellent lounge area, which is a great place to enjoy a glass or 2 of your favourite beverage while taking in the ocean views. While the hotel does not serve evening meals, there is a larger hotel right across the road which serves a good range of food covering bar snacks to a bistro style menu. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. I will be at the top of my list should I return to the region.

We stayed at the hotel while attending a wedding and had a truly enjoyable experience. Our room was beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a sense of calm that provided the perfect retreat from the busy atmosphere of the main hotel. Check-in was quick and seamless. The real highlight of our stay, however, was breakfast. Cooked fresh to order, it was not only delicious but also one of the best breakfast experiences we’ve ever had in Ireland. What made it exceptional was the service from Susan. She was warm, friendly, and genuinely engaging, and she elevated the whole experience with her attentiveness and charm. Susan’s hospitality turned breakfast into a real highlight of our trip, and we left feeling looked after and cared for. Thanks to her, along with the comfort of the hotel, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Beautifully renovated Victorian style house. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Lovely, attentive and professional staff. Excellent breakfast. Great attention to detail, we loved the welcome drink and nightcap. Really nice toiletries. A very comfortable and quiet stay by the ocean. We also had an excellent dinner in the Armada Hotel across the road. We will definitely be back! Thank you for being wonderful hosts!

Very good hotel. Jacuzzi was perfect. The location is great, few minutes walk to the Main Street with many bars and restaurants.

We loved the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna after a cold and wet hike on the cliffs. The breakfast buffet was great.

Room lovely - Staff all brilliant. Partners' Birthday and they pulled out a little cake and candle for breakfast service at last minute. All staff so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Steam room and jacuzzi red hot and spotlessly clean (need a swimming hat for pool) €2.50 on-site though. Breakfast really good - full Irish selection and continental full choice. Brilliant stay and will 100% be back! :)

This was a great find! The location was excellent, especially if you're visiting the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren Way. It's also only a couple of miles to a small town with a couple of great pubs for dinner. The host is super friendly and very helpful with suggestions for things to do nearby or on the way to wherever you're headed next. She also makes a very nice breakfast. The room we had was spacious, comfortable and very clean.

Everything! About 7-10 minutes from the action in Doolin, the property was rural with great views of the countryside and even a bit of the sea & cliffs. The roaming cows were entertaining! The rooms were spacious and modern, beds very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and host was flexible with the time when part of our party had to leave early for the airport. She was also extremely helpful with information about the ferry and "downtown."

Hosts were friendly and helpful, even going above and beyond to help us with reaching a taxi service after we had already checked out. Rooms were very clean and location was quiet and peaceful. Lovely view from our room. Breakfast was delightful.

Very quiet location set back from the road yet within easy walking distance of Doolin's busy pubs and restaurants. Our room had a stunning view over Galway Bay and was extremely spacious and comfortable. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was freshly cooked with a wide range of options. Hotel is not cheap but highly recommended nonetheless for a special occasion.

Aran View is a beautiful hotel. It is at the top of a hill which leads down to the port and is about a half hour walk away from the port and around 20 minute walk to the bars and restaurants in Doolin. Sharon was a brilliant host. The hotel has several apartments in the courtyard at the back of the hotel and fortunately for us, they had a cancellation for the 3 nights we were there, so Sharon gave us the option of having a full apartment to ourselves instead of a room in the hotel, which was perfect. Breakfast was lovely. It is a bit if a walk to the restaurants, but weather was perfect, so was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay there again.

Located on the Coast Road above Doolin town, Aran View does not disappoint with great views to the Aran Islands and the Cliffs of Moher. We enjoyed these views from the comfortable sitting room on the second level as our guest room was on the back side of the house. Our room was comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The dining room is attractive and breakfast was quite good.

Lovely stay, very nice staff, welcoming and friendly. A beautiful view from the front of the guest house of the sea. It’s not too far of a walk to the pubs and restaurants. Room was very comfortable and clean.

The Doolin View is an outstanding B&B. Clean, comfortable, new, friendly owner. I've traveled to Ireland many times over 30 years, and this is one of the best places I've stayed.

We stayed in Lodge 9. Double bed and full bathroom on main level. Two rooms upstairs with double bed in one and two twin beds in other along with a full bathroom. Comfortable furniture in the gathering room and nice dining table. Loved the location and the layout of the place. Comfortable beds and good bathrooms. Plenty of parking available, even allowed it on the brick area in front of the door. Close walk to two restaurants, two cute coffee houses and pubs with live music. Short, easy ten-minute walk to the main area of Doolin with more restaurants, pubs and shopping. Clean, comfortable place without a lot of frills. Worked great for our group of three couples!

The house was exceptionally clean, and lovely and warm. The furniture was modern, clean and well cared for. The beds were extremely comfortable. It was truly a home away from home. There were clear instructions on how to operate the household appliance and everything was clean and functional. Basics like Tea/ Coffee, Washing powder, were supplied. We really enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return again.

The owners were super friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious! We went for one night stayed for two! Quiet and relaxing; within walking distance to downtown Doolin.

We stayed for one night and this was our first time at a B&B. It was better than we can imagine. We were treated by Mary Ellen who was basically expecting us. Check in was seamless. Showed us to our room and we were so happy with the size. Informed us how to choose our breakfast for the morning. Property is in the PERFECT location in Doolin. Walk out the door to the right or left and there are pubs and places to eat less than a 15 minute walk. The beds were so comfy. I have stayed in top tier hotels and these beds felt like HOME!!! Breakfast was great. I was told to try Irish milk and they did have it and to no surprise it was amazing. The view from the dining room looking out front is great. Frank cooked our meals and even sat down with us to have a coffee and tell us more about our surrounding.

This was a perfect location and accommodation. The room was cozy and comfortable and Frank & Mary Ellen were very warm, welcoming and helpful. And breakfast was amazing!

My wife and I just happened to be here on our 30th anniversary to visit the cliffs of Moher while driving around the entire country and we really enjoyed this place and our stay there was one of our best throughout our entire 14 days in ireland, the owners live onsite but you wouldn't know it because of the way they have it set up, our room was very nice with a king bed, very nice bathroom , wonderful cooked to order breakfast from the available options your given that also included a bonus cereal, yogurts, fruits ,homemade sweet breads and coffee and juices in a very nice setting where they personally cook your breakfast, pour your coffeee, serve you with a smile and are just overall lovely people who really make your stay there a memorable one!! (also onsite free parking), walking distance from restaurants and bars at the ferry docks area. not far from the Doolin caves and must see coast of the burren.

Moloney House is wonderful. It is immaculate and comfortable. Our rooms were well appointed, spotless, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, cooked to order by Frank. The ala carte included fresh fruit, breads and yogurt. Frank and Mary Ellen made us feel right at home and helped us plan the next leg of our journey. If we visit Ireland again, we will stay here.

We spent three excellent nights at the Atlantic Hotel in Lahinch and would certainly recommend a visit. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The reception, bar and restaurant were all comfortable and relaxing while there was adequate parking to the rear of the hotel. The building is an older adapted (but very well maintained) residence and therefore has a few narrow corridors and stairs, it also means that noise tends to carry from the corridors and/or adjoining rooms, however from 11pm and throughout the night the hotel was extremely quiet. We always had a good nights sleep on the comfortable (and firm) beds. Our room was spotless, with tea facilities, hairdryers etc. TV, a large en-suite and everything we needed throughout the stay. The hotel is in the middle of Lahinch and near to local bars, restaurants, golf courses and shops. We would certainly stay here again…

Hotel is very centrally located - rooms are large and very comfortable but at the same time very cosy - with very clean bathrooms - friendly staff - food was delicious with a nice varied menu - breakfast had a wide choice ranging from traditional Irish breakfast to very tasty pancakes with maple syrup - bar staff very efficient - this hotel is very well organised, helpful, customer friendly with an atmosphere of warmth and family orientated.Also great to see newspapers in the bar to read plus satellite television to watch the rugby.

Excellent location. Close to pubs, restaurants and the Promenade along the beach. Took the breakfast included option when booking the room. Lots of cold and hot breakfast options. Good start to the day. First night we had dinner in the hotel dining room—warm, cozy, excellent service and the fish pie was amazing—I scraped my plate clean! Didn’t use the bar but it looked lovely. Definitely recommend both staying and eating here

Atlantic hotel is a beautiful modern and comfortable hotel with very professional and friendly staff. Located in the middle of the town and safe parking facilities. Walking distance to beach. Great selection on breakfast and dinner menus.

Central location - next to shops, cafes and restaurants and the beach. Restaurant on site served good, fresh food. Free parking at the hotel. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean and well maintained.

Lovely little hotel on the edge of Lisdoonvarna, great location/parking for the burren, coast, Doolin, Cliffs of Mother. Martina was very welcoming and informative. Quiet spacious rooms with views of the lush green surroundings. A good few options for a very tasty breakfast including Bailey's in your porridge, it was yum! A relaxing and comfortable stay. Would happily return again, Christina and Neil

LOVED our stay ! It was so comfortable and cosy, a perfect location for exploring Clare. The breakfast was exceptional, delicious, a super choice of menu, included local produce and beautifully presented. The Sheedy family were so welcoming and friendly. Would have no hesitation in highly recommending this hotel.

The rooms are the biggest we experienced in Ireland, where we spent 18 days and stayed in 5 different locations. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. The restaurant is a must eat as John Sheedy makes exceptional meals. Amazing wine list, and Martina plus her team offer exceptional service.

Doolin Inn was a special place to stay. Unbeknownst to us, we were placed in The Burrow, which was like a small apartment. Large bedroom with sitting area, large bath, private jacuzzi/hot tub (slippers and robes furnished). Their breakfasts are delicious. My husband rates their sausage the best in Ireland. All the staff was friendly and personable, in both reception and dining. Would definitely recommend. An added plus is the hiking trail to the cliffs of Moher is very close by!!

A Magical Stay at the Doolin Inn – Best Breakfast in Ireland! The Doolin Inn was simply incredible! This enchanting, magical place felt more like staying in a cozy apartment than a typical hotel. My husband and I stayed in the “Townhouse” just across the street from the main inn, which was perfect. I loved sitting by the open windows, looking out at the horses and breathing in the fresh sea air—it was so peaceful and relaxing. The entire staff made us feel like part of the family. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring. Now let’s talk about the breakfast—hands down the BEST of all the places we stayed during our trip! As soon as you're seated, you're offered tea or coffee. While that's being prepared, a starter tray is brought to your table featuring freshly made smoothies, a fruit and yogurt parfait with granola, warm bread, and a fresh-baked scone or croissant with butter and homemade jam. Every item was incredibly fresh—this thoughtful detail completely blew me away. Then comes your main breakfast order, and wow—your senses are immediately awakened by the delicious aromas of eggs, bacon, and sausage, all cooked to perfection. The owner and staff are simply lovely, and they truly go out of their way to make sure every guest feels cared for.

This review is based on a 17 night/5 property Irish road trip, so is relatively objective. I stayed solo for 2 nights in June. Easily found with adequate private parking in this busy village. Friendly and efficient staff throughout. The property is modern rather than ‘Country House’. Spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped bedroom with good quality linen and towels. Modern walk in shower bathroom. The lounge area is far too small for the number of rooms. Breakfast was to a high standard. I wouldn’t class this as a 4 star Country Inn, rather an upmarket B&B due to no restaurant (other than breakfast), served bar area and very small lounge. Snacks, drinks and coffee etc are available in the reception area. There is a very pleasant outside deck seating area, but it’s a BYO job! There are pubs and restaurants available in the village, all within walking distance, High season produces high room rates!

The Doolin Inn was so beautiful, I wish we'd booked our stay for longer than one night. We stayed in the townhouse and the room was completely renovated with modern amenities, but cozy antique furniture to warm the atmosphere. Every person we interacted with at the Doolin Inn as wonderful - from the check-in to dinner to breakfast. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and the restaurant has the same familiar, but modern atmosphere that our room did. It's short walk from everything including the trail head for the cliff trail along the Cliffs of Moher. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Doolin Inn!

Owner Anthony and his team made our 40th wedding anniversary extra special with their thoughtfulness. Cristina and Chris at reception were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Our cozy suite with an outdoor hot tub was perfect for relaxing after exploring. The breakfast was delicious—served with care each morning. We loved visiting the Cliffs of Moher, Gus O’Connors pub, and the charming village of Doolin. Highly recommend Doolin Inn for a memorable, relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting! The B&B was only a short walk from the the Center of Doolin. We had a lovely room on the first floor, clean and comfortable beds and very quiet. The shower was amazing - hot and super powerful! The staff we very friendly and helpful and the breakfast delicious

Location!! Chose Twin Peaks for its location. Walking distance to downtown Doolin, the Doolin pier, with a chip and putt golf course and wonderful views of the Cliffs. Sinead, our host, was amazing!! She had great advice on everything local. Best driving route, best restaurant, etc. Breakfast was delicious! And the coffee was the best of our whole trip. Rooms were spotless! Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was lovely! We will absolutely stay at Twin Peaks on our next trip to Doolin!!!

Sinead met us at the door with a warm welcome and friendly smile when we arrived. She asked us alot of qualifying questions so she could be most helpful with information about our stay! She let us know where to eat, how to get to attractions, best time.....she plotted out the next 24 hours of our trip with her expertise of the area. The B&B was a short stroll from the restaurants and shops. The room was large and comfortable! The breakfast was delicious. All of the staff....one big happy family!! Very Friendly!

The owners of this property are amazing. They gave us so much info on the surrounding area as well as tips for dinner and live music. Both of which we went to and it was fabulous. Our stay was wonderful. The place was beautiful, spotless, roomy and super comfortable. We loved the breakfast. My dad had the full Irish breakfast and I had french toast with fruit. You are walking distance to the little town of Doolin and about a mile from the port. We had an amazing stay!

The breakfast had unique and delicious options. The room and attached bath was extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable. Not to mention the extremely helpful and attentive staff! It was a great experience.

Hyland Burrens was a very nice hotel clean and quaint. The room was very small and only one small window, but the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and we did have one dinner at the hotel which was exceptional. There is a bar with the hotel and with music. This was a perfect Irish Hotel and Bar and in a lovely town. The restaurant down the street Monks is well known for their food and for good reason, but make reservations. We stayed here two nights and enjoyed the area. I'd recommend the hotel but the rooms are small but cozy! In the picture our room was the one between the two flags.

The Hylands Burren Hotel was very comfortable, fresh and clean, quiet, lovely friendly helpful staff, and the little touches were gorgeous.. handwritten note in my room and a box of chocs! Had a fabulous stay and would stay here again. It was a great location for exploring both the Burren and the Wild Atlantic Way. We climbed Mullaghmore during our stay and it was perfect for that! The bar food was great and there was also live music in the bar on the night we stayed, which was really nice.

Booking process were painfree and they communicated with me frequently. I made a reservation for dinner at the Restaurant, went down seamlessly. The dinner was absolutely amazing, food of high standard. It was the night of the All Blacks vs Springbok (South-Africa) final, the pub was packed and it was just nice. Bedrooms are nothing luxury, but it is clean and comfortable (which is what is most important to me) and better than what I expected and the staff is absolutely welcoming and helpful. We will be back.

Room- Exceptional sized room with a double and single bed. Lovely comfortable bed - TV - great selection of channels, and good reception. Plenty of wardrobe space with loads of hangers. Ironing board & iron and hair dryer all easy to find. Breakfast was fantastic with a spread of fruit/pastries/breads/cereals/juices/tea & coffee available to help yourself, followed by a great menu of hot options cooked to order. All staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful. Bar food at night - Fantastic - Best burger & fries of my life!

A lovely pub in the centre of Ballyvaughan, very characterful and exceptionally comfortable room, amazing bed, great bathroom, very spacious. Quirky sloping floors and lovely furniture and comfy sofas and armchairs dotted around the place. A very young team of very hardworking staff couldn’t have been more polite, attentive and welcoming. Great food served in the bar and good value for money. Fabulous breakfast with a lovely selection of goodies to set you up for the day.
