The contactless check-in was extremely easy. The room itself was very nice and spacious. The bedroom was in its own room and then the living area, kitchenette, and bathroom were in the next room. Would be perfect for a multi-night stay in Edinburgh so you can spread out a bit. The location is perfect. Once you walk outside and down the block, take a left turn and you can see Edinburgh Castle sitting up on the hill. Just steps away from multiple bars and restaurants, but also on a quiet street.

Great location, 30 second walk to George Street which has some nice restaurants and bars. 10-15 minute walk from Waverley station and the numerous bars and restaurants around that area. Very clean apartment, great facilities - tea & coffee facilities, kettle, toaster, pots and pans. The shower was great, good water pressure and hot water instantly. There is no parking with the apartment, but there was on street parking closeby.

It was a perfect location. A stylish building located in a quiet street. The room was airy and bright. The bed was comfy. The suite had a kitchen with cookware sets which I didn't use. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. I really couldn't ask for more.

Booked the jacuzzi room for the night, bit disappointed it wasn’t the large square jacuzzi as shown in pictures but it was a nice corner one. Couch in suite wasn’t as comfy as it was the only place we could view the tv. Room in general was spacious and staff were wonderful and extremely helpful.

Staff checked in with us before we arrived and were very friendly and welcoming during our stay. We ordered a room with a bath, however the jacuzzi bath did not work which was disappointing. Overall, lovely cozy room and great for our stay.

Two of us spent 5 nights here while visiting Edinburgh. We've stayed before (two years ago same time of year) and it was a great stay yet again. Check in was easy and quick, the room with a castle view was brilliant. Amazing view of the castle day and night. The room was spotless and the bed was huge! The room cleaners did a great job while we were there. The food we had at the hotel (breakfast and bar meals for one day) was great. When we stayed last time it was a buffet breakfast and I think we preferred that as it gave us more choice however there was nothing wrong with the breakfast really. We were served several times by Jordan and she was great, happy to chat and friendly. Overall we had a great stay and can't wait to come back again. The location of the hotel is excellent, go straight out of the hotel to find your way to the old town or left to find yourself by princess street and into the new town. Lots of nice pubs and quick places to eat right by the hotel as well. O and the bar is excellent offering lots of tasty food and drinks. Finally we also visited the spa for the 3 hour spa circuit on one day and while the pool was shut everything else was open.it was amazing lying in the hydro pool enjoying the sun. Great hotel

We had previously visited the hotel during the Christmas season and it was absolutely amazing! This summer was our first time visiting during the warmer months, and we were just as impressed – if not more! The entrance, the reception area, and all shared spaces were filled with beautiful fresh flowers, creating a truly welcoming atmosphere. The staff manages to exceed our expectations every single time – incredibly polite, friendly, and always available to help at any hour of the day. One Square Restaurant was outstanding, offering top-quality, five-star dining – every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. One Square Bar is always a lovely and cozy place to relax, and the team there is always more than happy to help you choose the perfect drink, whether it’s wine, a cocktail, or what else Gin! We will definitely be coming back again!

Spent a couple of night at Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh and the hotel is very nice and clean with great staff, nice breakfast and a good spa. Although on one occasion the steam room wasn’t working and so if you haven’t paid for the spa then you can only use the pool. The shower room is a bit dated and you can see mould in the sealant and grout in the shower rooms. The rooms are nice and bed is comfortable. Asked for some firm pillows and they were delivered to the room. The toilet was also new and modern. It’s 15 minutes walk from Haymarket station and there are plenty of options to eat nearby. Parking is available and discounted for residents. Used the spa once as well which is also discounted for residents and it was a really nice and relaxing experience. Breakfast had good choice and you could choose hot breakfast from the menu. Nice but a bit pricy hotel in Edinburgh.

Everything was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. ✅ The staff were very hospitable – Everyone was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home. ✅ Housekeeping team was friendly – They always greeted us with smiles, which was a nice touch. ✅ Breakfast room service was convenient – On our first night, we received a breakfast order card to leave on the door, allowing us to have breakfast delivered at our preferred time. It was on time and very helpful!

Fantastic 1 night stay. All staff attentive and very friendly. Tony was very helpful at check in. I'm gluten free and have other allergies and was very impressed with the variety of gluten free options provided for breakfast which included gluten free muffins made in Loch Ness and gluten free cornflakes and crossiants. The eggs florentine and avocado on toast with poached eggs we had for breakfast was great quality and cooked perfectly. The servers at breakfast were very attentive and prompt. Our room was very clean and cool which was great for the hot weather. This is our 3rd time staying and we will definitely be back. Thank you to all the staff including housekeeping.

Lovely little pod and very unsuspectingly modern inside with custom lighting and heating. Very clean, nice views all round and so peaceful. Both my partner and I struggle to sleep in new places, but we slept like babies here. Perfect for a quiet break away!

What an amazing Place, myself and my husband only stay around an hour away but we honestly felt like somewhere in the highlands. It was the peace and quiet we needed. The Pod was a lot bigger than I expected didn’t feel cramped etc your surroundings are amazing with the woodland in the background and the lovely pond out front you really are just taken away from it all which is what we both wanted! The little touches with the stocked fridge etc really make a difference & the high tech aspects of the pod are amazing! We both also really enjoyed the hot tub it really warm it does cool but it kicks in to add more hot water in fast so it was just amazing! It was probably the high light for us! It’s super easy to find especially using the What 3 Words provided and the road to car park was easy enough we have a low car and had to issues.. then it’s like a min walk to pods again really easy and well signed! We will definitely be booking again we we just want to get away from it all.

This place was an absolute delight, beautiful peaceful setting with a wrap around decking. It really was special waking up to hear nothing but ducks playing. The hot tub was the icing on the cake, ready for use on arrival. The rooms are spacious and the bed was so comfortable I slept the best I have in years. This is the place I've been looking for where I can be at peace and reset. The added extras, iron bru tea etc was greatly appreciated. The shower cubicle although small had amazing pressure, felt great.

We loved it all cabin was beautiful was all that you need very cosy and bed was comfy with Netflix and prime to watch when want to chill setting was also soo peaceful and beautiful best cabin we have been to hot tub perfect to with perfect temperature and no noisy blowers

The location was perfect, our daughter loved the jacuzzi bathtub, and I appreciated that there was a cot available for our 1.5 year old. I also appreciated that we could store our luggage after check out. The staff was very kind. Thank you!

Bathroom is superb. There are jacuzzi in the bathroom. Everything in the room new and clean.

The team was very responsible via whatsapp. the room was clean. there was plenty of coffee and tea. and the lady that worked there helped us right away when we couldn't work the coffee machine. there was even a jacuzzi. overall, we had a great stay. the location cannot be beat as it was easily reachable from the airport and within walking distance of most of the sites.

Great location! Central to everything. Luxourous sized and styled bathroom with great bathtub. Comfortable beds. Clean and bright room with a lovely view of the old streets of Edinburgh. Very quiet! Great cafe downstairs. (had breakfast there. Great food and drinks) Staff were friendly and let us store luggage before and after check in and check out.

Had a lovely stay at Hanover Suites 71, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the cafe is delicious. Room was in excellent condition and very clean. Perfect location for restaurants and bars. We all had a lovely time. Only thing is if you’re a light sleeper then you may need ear plugs or ask for a room away from the road. I slept really well but my friend found the road noise and pub goers kept her awake.

The apartment was more than amazing: from its location to its amenities, its the perfect base to explore Edinburgh in all its glory. The Cottage offers both a washing machine as well as a full-functioning kitchen. It is only a 3-minute walk away from the shore, which itself offers both amazing (seafood) restaurants, as well as an amazing view. Overall, I will be more than happy to once again stay there in the future

The place is well furnished with such a cosy vibe. Just across the street, there are some amazing restaurants and store for fresh seafood where I could buy and cook my own dishes. Also there is ASDA in a walking distance. Plus a few steps to the bus station could get me to the heart of Edinburgh city. The tram station is a few minutes away if walking. Truly amazing place to stay! The host was super supportive and responsive with well thought way to support during the stay. I accidentally locked the door with the key inside the house. The host picked up my call so fast with instant well managed way for me to get spare key to get in the house.

Great location for a quiet stay. Small but very clean and cosy. Plenty of clean towels and toileteries. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and ingredienta..Great access to the city centre via the tram system which is very good value for money! Bart was very helpful and responsive.

When we arrived the apartment was already heated and smell good with air freshener. Communication with the host to collect key was easy and convenient. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very spacious and cosy. The kitchen was well-equipped and very clean. The beds are so comfortable. Location is perfect right at the Royal Mile.

Stunning location, views over royal mile were wonderful. Flat very clean, comfortable, plenty towels, toiletries, coffee tea etc. Beds very comfortable and plenty room in the living area for the 5 of us staying, never felt we were living on top of each other. In fact planning a return visit to the same flat.

Lovely, spacious apartment in the centre of the Royal Mile. Apartment has beautiful traditional features, especially the stairwell. Plenty of room, ideal for a family or group. Very clean, good provisions, spotless bedding and towels. Key left in pizza place opposite for collection. Just 5 mins walk from Waverley train station. The addition of the piper playing on the street down below was an additional bonus when eating breakfast.

Family break, impressed with the appartment's location and facilities. Warm and cosy. Children loved how roomy it was and that they had wifi.... Central to everything PERFECT!

The apartment was more than I could hope for. Spacious, welcoming, and oh, so comfortable. The location was perfect, right on the royal mile.

Very spacious apartment, bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, the washing machine was good, we managed to do one laundry, overall from here to attractions we're good distance by car, around 9 mins drive is ideal, we visited portobello beach, that really good, not so big and busy,it had a childrens play area and amusements which was ideal for everyone, I would recommend this place to anyone who has family especially with kids would be ideal. If your car is compatible with LEZ then you can drive around the edinburgh new and old town if car is not compatible then please go one LEZ website to check you vehicle before you drive around otherwise there would be a fine if not paid. Parking after 6:30pm is free on Canongate and around Holyrood park near the palace, as we prefered the evening walks during daylight, we managed to see Arthur seat, amazing breath taking views of whole of Edinburgh, we walked all upto Royal Mile, you have the restaurants, bar, souvenir shops, fish and chips, etc even evenings was busy too but it's worth a visit. Visited the Grassmarket, managed to take selfie with the colourful shops, very vibrant, if you walk downwards and turn left there are bars too also some benches to sit on also further up you can see edinburgh castle on top of the hill.

Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we stepped through the door, the facilities were incredibly amazing and went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. The rooms were impeccably clean, beautifully designed, and equipped with every comfort imaginable. The on-site restaurant provided delicious cuisine with fresh, local ingredients, and the overall ambiance was both stylish and relaxing. We felt truly pampered throughout our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a truly exceptional experience.".

The place is in a very nice area a walk or easy bus ride from the centre. There is a very spacious living room / kitchenette with good internet and a huge telly, with a nice big brown leather sofa and other chairs too. Both the bedrooms have double beds and en suite bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. The place was spotlessly clean and well equipped with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, cooker etc. Perfect for a short stay for two couples or in our case one couple plus one adult son.

A quiet place. Very modern and clean. It was perfect for our family with 2 children. We liked it.😀

Beautiful property close to the city centre. Clean and tidy and super spacious. Property had own parking area so was easily accessible. Close to local shops, restaurants and bus stops to travel easily to and from the centre. Hosts were very helpful and answered all enquiries within a reasonable time. Would greatly recommend staying here, and would love to stop again!

Property was clean, with all listed amenities. Area was safe and quiet for families. The location was PERFECT. Beachfront access. Wonderful host, with excellent communication. She was more than accommodating and went above and beyond to make our stay amazing.

Lovely beach location, good transport access to Edinburgh. Liked the hot tub for relaxing after a day of Edinburgh tourism walking. The beach house was very comfortable & clean, perfect for a small family or even 2 couples sharing. It had everything you need for a break.

We had a lovely stay at the Beach house, it's in a great spot, right on the beachfront in Portobello which was such a treat. Two good sized double rooms with comfy beds, a bathroom with a huge walk in shower and a kitchen/living room space for hanging out in. Plus a lovely helpful host too! Thanks for having us ❤️

The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The decor in the room was lovely and felt homely. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great! The staff provided bottles of water and soft drink cans which was a really lovely touch! The property is really close to shops and cafes / bars and only a half an hour walk to old town - great value for money!

Great localisation, walk distance to the center, lots of restaurants, great food, really nice people. In the room nobody disturb us, we had room with the garden view which was nice. The room was clean and cozy. Clean towels were provided every day. I definitely recommend it !

Only a few steps away from the bus stops. New and clean. Very lovely designed and you have everything you need for a short stay! The windows of the room (No2) looks into a really charming garden of a church! The view was sooo nice!!! The WiFi didn’t really work but it’s not so important though. The staff was nice and helpful!

The location was amazing, very scenic and peaceful. Easy to find. The staff were amazing, not only were they kind and friendly they definitely went above and beyond for me and my wife from the get go. The rooms were immaculate, they came with tea and coffee with a kettle I case we wanted a hot drink. The beds were very comfortable, was a nice suprised when my watch told me it was a "record sleep" for myself in the morning. Lovely shower and bath in the bathroom. The Breakfast was delicious! It was 2 courses, but along with the 2 courses there was toast and a choices os spread and jam, coffee, tea and orange juice as well as a bunch of other stuff. We couldn't eat it all because we were full part way through our second course but it was delicious! Would absolutely stay again, in fact we might be going back to Edinbrough for the Christmas Market and are already thinking about booking here again.

A warm welcome from Annette. A wonderful homely atmosphere with panoramic scenic views from the bedroom & the surrounding land. There were different farm animals to watch. The family dogs were friendly & seen roaming outside. The host & her family were very friendly & nothing was too much trouble to be kind & helpful. A lovely, comfortable, clean & spacious room. Freshly cooked to your taste a delicious breakfast with variety of choices. Good conversations between the host & guests at breakfast. Great for easy access into Edinburgh, a truly Scotland's gem, a highly recommended B & B. Await, the next stay!

Breakfast was delicious, and very filling. Enough to set you for a busy day out and about. The family who own it were extremely friendly, Lovely people. Hot deep bath. The farm is full of friendly animals - tiny ponies, friendly highland cows, massive and friendly Clydesdale horses, alpacas, sheep, donkeys, goats and absolutely lovely dogs. The scenery there was gorgeous. Great views, close to a Park and Ride for bus to city. Overall fantastic (but they did have trouble with the Wi-Fi because of network provider, not their fault, poor woman was on the phone to BT all afternoon and clearly stressed about that). It’s well situated, being surrounded by countryside but only half an hour to airport, 20 minutes to the park and ride, very good access from the ring road and major roads to Edinburgh. It’s a great location for a city break that then has a quiet nights sleep and gorgeous views over the fields and hills when you wake up. Obviously you need a car to get here.

The B&B is located on a farm, which is so peaceful and beautiful. Lots of animals to admire and they’re looked after so well. The rooms are beautiful , spacious and so clean. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful- great choice. The staff are all amazing, so friendly, kind and make sure you have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The B&B is around 30 minutes from Edinburgh city centre which was ideal for us as a family to stay in a relaxing atmosphere and travel in to the busy city centre- best of both worlds.

Property was clean and had access to all the facilities like fridge, kitchen, kettle, fresh milk, coffee and tea. The beds are so comfortable makes it hard to leave on check out day. Breakfast was cooked to order and was delicious. We visited the stables and there we saw the piglets, horses, alpacas, goats, baby goat, sheep’s. Was really enjoyable and the hosts were really nice, friendly and helpful. We definitely gonna be back in the near future! Thanks!

Such a welcoming place the host couldn't have been more helpful or friendly an absolute star. The room was well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated with a very comfy bed., it made a great place to rest and relax after a long day. The location is a gem. 30 min walk or 20 min at a pace into the central part of Edinburgh. What makes the location great is all the quality independent cafes, shops and restaurants found just at the end of the street. We tried a few and all were exceptional, way better than the tourist traps and tack shops in the royal mile. Recommend Edinburgh Larder if you stay for breakfast. The area is such great headspace after walking the royal mile. Very cute dog too : )

The Albyn Townhouse B&B was like a fairytale come true! The location was quiet yet a short walk to delicious cafes and shops to shop in. A short bus or taxi to city centre. Our room was like out of a movie. Most comfy bed! Excellent WiFi. Nice shower and the toiletries provided were of excellent quality and eco friendly while good for sensitive types like myself. The breakfast was more than enough for us and to have snack later. The details in the room and entire B&B are lovely to look at. Our host Lydie could not have been more gracious and helpful to us. I could go on and on, but suffice to say if ever in Edinburgh we will stay here again.

Everything....Lydie is just amazing she makes you feel at home the minute you enter her "home". She is always friendly & very helpfull and enjoys a laugh and a joke. Our room was just so welcoming ,clean and charming and we slept wonderfully. The charachter of the house is just what we were looking for and Lydie keeps it looking so well (proberly because she does most of the work herself.) Albyn Townhouse is situated very central but also in a very quiet street. Public transport is just around both Corners. The host, Lydie, is a delightful, warm, and welcoming person who made me feel right at home in her lovely place. My room was perfect, with a very comfortable bed, and a view over the city. I ordered breakfast, which came with excellent coffee, croissants, jam, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese and biscuits; a substantial morning repast delivered to my room. Lydie had suggestions for restaurants, getting around Edinburgh, etc. All great! Highly recommend and will return when next in Edinburgh!

Albyn Townhouse is a magnificent place!! Stylish, cosy, beautifully furnished with amazing decor 😍 Upon arrival there were a few lovely surprises waiting for us: we were upgraded to a bigger room, we got small treat, hot chocolate, coffee and a map with directions how to move around the city. Albyn Townhouse is situated in a quiet neighborhood and not too far from the city center, easily to be reached on foot. Bus stop is just 3min away. Near the house there are a few lovely cafes serving delicious breakfast. Lydie, thanks again for hosting us 💛 💛

Six Brunton Place is an amazing place to stay. The property is beautiful and elegant and although the Courtyard room is 'cosy', it was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, with a full size bath and separate shower. There is a kettle, and a coffee machine, in the room, plus a TV that links to Sky. (Not that we had time to watch it!) The breakfast room/lounge had a lovely log burner which we sat beside, to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, before going out to the theatre. Which was only 15 minutes walk away. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, but must be ordered the night before. There was also an excellent choice of cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries etc. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We definitely hope to return for another stay.

immaculately clean accommodation,comfortable bed,lovely hot shower(we didn't use the bath during our stay.Lovely toiletries and thick towels/ robes provided.The breakfast was exceptional- wide choice of vegetarian/ bacon choices all beautifully presented in the dining room,with choice of cereals,toast,continental breakfast.The best breakfast I have enjoyed in a guest house.The host was very friendly and helpful,arranging a taxi fot us when we left.

Everything was perfect! We had a wonderful couple of nights staying here and it could not have been better. The location is excellent, both quiet and central. The garden level room was huge and incredibly elegant and cosy. It's a beautiful home - we loved looking at all the art that was displayed, it felt like being in a gallery! The breakfast was delicious and everyone we met was incredibly helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to returning next time we are in Edinburgh.

Six Brunton Place is an ideal place to stay if you're looking for a relaxing getaway. Not only is the entire place extremely comfortable and clean--rooms are spacious and cozy, the fireplace in the main room adds a terrific touch (as well as the complimentary wine), the owner is extremely hospitable, and things are quiet--but it's also walking distance to all main attractions. Breakfast was amazing as well. Highly recommend! I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The Bed & Breakfast was fantastic. Very clean and we were very well looked after. The room was beautiful and spacious and very cosy with a lovely modern spacious bathroom (particularly liked the underfloor heating). The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice. The location was perfect as we weren't right in the middle of the centre but it was within walking distance or a very short taxi ride. We would definitely stay at this B&B again.

The host, Craig was a delight. He is hands on when it comes to ensuring hospitality. He was quick and friendly in his response to various needs or directions. We had a room with the shower and bathroom outside of the room. While this was inconvenient and a bit small for tall people, the accommodations were clean and well organized. Breakfast was great - a delicious fresh fruit salad, various breads, cereals, eggs, yogurt, etc - and the french press coffee was a most welcome treat. The mattresses were comfortable and the location was unexpectedly quiet for being located so close to city center. I think it was about 10-15 minutes from city center. I would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable guesthouse just outside the city with free parking in nearby streets, on a busy direct bus route into the centre of Edinburgh. 18 Craigmillar Park has a luxurious feel with good quality fittings and furnishing. Breakfast was a buffet style but not only continental, there were also delicious full Scottish options available. Craig was a very informative and helpful host, and nothing was too much trouble. The room on the third floor was very comfortable and quiet as it was to the rear of the building away from the traffic. The front facing rooms are probably not too bad either as the road is never very busy at night. We didn't hear guests in nearby rooms either, only the occasional door closing. Ideal place to stay for attending some of the many events in Edinburgh if you want to travel into the city by bus. Have a look at Lothian buses website for the taptapcap scheme using your debit/credit card. Awesome.

The room was beautiful and immaculately clean, such a nice place to stay for a few nights! The location is perfect, right next to a bus stop that is very well linked to the city centre and beyond. The breakfast was delicious, big fan of the black pudding and haggis!!! Craig was a friendly host and was very helpful and attentive, thank you!

Beautiful guest house and Craig is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are so well equipped with water tea coffee, hairdryer, cookies! Shampoo bodywash and body lotion. The decor is beautiful and it is so clean. Towels are so fluffy. Room has TV with netflix etc. The breakfast is lovely and very inexpensive for what you get. Craig replies to your text very quickly, and will help in any which way he can. Definitely would stay here again. About 25 min walk to town and a lovely it's a lovely walk. However if you don't want to walk the bus stop just a few meters away with loads of buses into town which was very convenient and only takes about 10 minutes.

The place was very nice and cosy. The space was very nicely furnished and the rooms very clean with everything we need. Craig, the owner, was very friendly and helpful.
