Very Nice and Clean hotel. Room was quiet, spacious and bed was very comfortable. Disappointed that there was no oatmeal offering for breakfast. I would think this would be a standard offering. I had to skip breakfast. Please add some healthy options to your breakfast menu. Young female employee cleaning the coffee station was also less than helpful and rather rude. A little customer service training would go a long way.

Great location, comfortable beds, they had Dove Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion which is EXTREMELY convenient, very quiet, amazing price. It’s a no outlet road so there’s no traffic, perfect location too as it’s surrounded by grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Will definitely stay here again for our next Erie trip!! Very clean rooms as well.

Excellent stay! I typically would never stay at a Holiday Inn because the ones I have seen appear less than! But this is an exception. The hotel is new, so everything is updated and fresh. The price is perfect! Rooms are large with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The rooms are simple but all you need. Ours also had the refrigerator which I appreciate. The blinds are nice versus a curtain. You can really get a good black out effect. The temp of the room is easily controlled and worked well. A bit noisy as it is a wall unit (typical) the bathroom is ample size. In fact the shower seems oversized and has decent dove products. This room had both a desk and a chair, another chair with an ottoman . The exercise area is nice and so is the indoor pool. I would stay here again in a minute. The front desk staff was welcoming and kind. Well lit parking. We both felt safe. A very nice job changing my opinion about Holiday Inn!

Everything…..new, great accommodation, friendly staff, amazing breakfast. They serve dinner too, order off a menu and they serve it to you. Nice change from the buffet, good portions too. Would recommend this hotel, check that breakfast is included, as there’s an extra charge if it’s not on your booking.

Everything! Especially the kind employees, the front desk woman who checked us in on Saturday was amazing and the two ladies who served us breakfast both days were wonderful! Breakfast was exceptional, nice to order and sit down. Rooms very clean and beds were comfortable. Will definitely stay again!!

Average hotel in a nice location. Hotel was clean. Here's the kicker! I was fine knowing parking was an additional $14.00 as a hotel guest, however if you are going to Oliver's for dinner, which we did, your parking is covered. The restaurant staff were surprised when we told them the parking situation and offered extra parking stubs to repeatedly go in and out. We went to the front desk and asked for parking to be covered. After spending almost $400.00 on the stay and dinner they said no! If you are going to this hotel and plan on dinner at Oliver's tell the front desk you took a taxi and get your parking covered through Olivers restaurant. The restaurant and food is amazing unfortunately hotel staff doesn't care how much you spending at their facility and nickel and dime you for parking.

Our king room was extremely spacious, clean and updated with a beautiful view of the lake. Comfortable bed and pillows. The free breakfast had an excellent variety of hot and cold foods. Staff was friendly and location was close walking to the main downtown restaurants.

We had a great experience all around. From check in to à wonderful dinner at Oliver's Rooftop, comfortable spacious room and buffet breakfast, we can't say enough positive things about our stay. Super friendly staff, great food, awesome views!

This hotel was perfect for us. Spacious, clean, and convenient. Loved the beer garden and mini golf. Breakfast bar, indoor pool, and close, safe parking were major reasons I chose to stay here with kids.

The advertised in house dining and bar are deceiving. They are not kids friendly at all. Having children with us and wanting to go sit at a table and order appetizers and have a drink is out of the questions. We walked over to the Sheraton and had dinner and sat in the lobby and had a drink while the kids ate cake from the coffee shop. Rooms were clean and comfortable. If just adults traveling, it would be ok. If traveling with kids, I would stay somewhere else. Look at the restaurants menu before deciding

This beautiful waterfront hotel has a wonderful patio and a long walkway right along the water. Being on the water and the expansive view of the lake was the big draw for us. We found the hotel to be modern, clean, and comfortable. The beds were spotlessly clean and comfortable. The room was surprisingly quiet considering all that was going on at the hotel i.e. bars, restaurants, fire pit, swimming pool, party boats. We never heard a thing. It was so convenient to have 3 restaurants to choose from right at the hotel. We didn't have to leave the hotel for anything. We ate at Rum Runner's Cove which was attached to the hotel and had indoor and outdoor seating on the water. We watched the sunset and the boats coming in and out of the marina as we ate. The food and service were excellent. The granddaughters had breakfast at the buffet on the 8th floor. We slept well and had a comfortable stay. Kevin at the front desk was so courteous, knowledgeable and helpful when I was making my reservation and during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your visit to Erie! You won't be disappointed and we look forward to staying at the Sheraton Erie Bayfront Hotel again!

We have stayed at The Sheraton Bayfront several times over the last few years; however, we have not stayed since their remodel. Although we liked the dark wood nautical decor in the hotel rooms, the refresh of the rooms was still inviting and comfortable. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and clean. The only picky thing we found is the lack of pressure in the shower head. Although, it may be a water saver, it took twice as long to rinse soap off due to the low water pressure in the shower. We ate at the hotel restaurant, Two 45, both evenings of our stay and found our food to be delicious. Our first night waitress was friendly and competent. Our second night, although our waitress was competent, she was not quite as friendly. The hostess/manager of the restaurant was very good at circulating around the restaurant making small talk and making sure that everyone was satisfied with their food. The employees from the front desk to cleaning were accommodating and friendly. We love the Erie Bayfront and love staying at The Sheraton. It is our go-to when we need time away from home and jobs.

The hotel is completely updated and looks amazing. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly. Parking garage next door easily accessible (and would be very welcome for winter stays!) My room was on the 8th floor (club access level) overlooking the Bay and across to Presque Isle State Park. Modern and spotless. Unfortunately, an adjoining room and the man next door was very loud. I called down and they swiftly moved me to another room on the 7th floor which was perfect. Snacks that evening at the ‘club’ were ok (egg rolls, pot stickers, charcuterie and veggies with dip). Breakfast was very good. Good coffee with an espresso machine. Hot entree available. I did not visit the bar or restaurant but they looked very nice and the menu was interesting. I would definitely return and recommend! Well done Sheraton!

My stay at the Sheraton EXCEEDED my expectations. The staff/front desk were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. My room with a view of the Bay was AMAZING, the room itself was comfortable in every way which made my stay Relaxing, and Peaceful which is what i needed. Ive stayed at many hotels seeking this and found it HERE. Thank you!

Breakfast was good. Quite a variety. Our room, 321, was gorgeous and clean! The pull out sofa bed was the most comfortable I’ve seen. The jacuzzi tub was amazing! No complaints!

The room was very large, king-size bed with pull out couch. Had a small kitchen area also. The bathroom was nice with a jacuzzi tub. There is an indoor water park next to it.

I haven't been to a hotel with a free continental breakfast in a long time and this one did not disappoint my family. I wish there would have been a gluten-free option But I won't hold that against them because there was fruit. The jacuzzi tub was a nice touch as was the fireplace in the suite. It was one of the most reasonably priced places in town as well. Good location to the mall with good shopping in between.

This is clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. They changed towels every day. It was quiet and had easy access to and from I-90. Close by were the following: Walmart, restaurants and shopping centers. This is NOT a frilly place. It does have exercise room and indoor pool. It is just good value, easy access, friendly, helpful staff ready to serve the traveler.

This hotel is not new and I think that is the beauty of it. The rooms are extremely spacious and exceptionally clean. The bathroom is the size of a new york bedroom and in my opinion worth more stars than some luxury hotels. The staff are hard working, always helpful and greet you with a smile. They are 5 stars to me!The rooms have coffee, tea, lots of towels, facial cleansers, liquid soap, lotion and more amenities than one would expect. Breakfast is served daily( free) and quite frankly the guests are the ones who benefit the most. This hotel is under valued and deserves more than what we paid. Note also there is a water park and an arcade and plenty of places to eat nearby.

The Hampton Inn Erie South is a very clean hotel, and out of all the hotels our group stayed at during the week, this one is definitely my favorite. It’s not because it’s new or modern, but because it’s cozy and warm. They even accommodated the arrival of two buses without any issues. Be sure to stop by the breakfast bar where Peggy who has been working there for 23 years, welcomes you with a smile, makes sure that everything is absolutely perfect when you’re eating, and that nothing is ever missing. She adds a lot of love into this place with special personalized decorations, making it feel like a home away from home. There’s also a well-stocked convenience store and a fitness center, which are both great additions. The swimming pool is open late, clear, and warm, making it a perfect spot to relax after a long day. The late pool hours and the cozy, welcoming vibe of the hotel made this stay especially memorable on our one-week trip to Nashville.

Pros: Close to highway and many restaurants, clean and comfortable guest rooms, friendly staff, solid free breakfast. Cons: Like all decent Erie area hotels, not inexpensive. My stay was so brief, it was difficult accessing the property, but the hours I spent here were comfortable and stress-free. The rooms appear to be new and in the modern Hampton Inn style, meaning storage was plentiful, a seating area was present (and welcome), and the bed was perfect for sleeping after a long day. There is a lot in the area- I lost track of how many restaurants I passed along the way (many of which were closed since it was after 10 o'clock at night). The area also means high prices- no good hotels in the Erie area are cheap during the summer months. If I stay here again, perhaps I'll have more time to experience what seems to be a very nice property.

The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast offered a variety of options to choose from, and though there were many people eating while we were there, the friendly staff kept it well-stocked and very clean. Appreciated the 24-hour coffee, tea and cocoa. The pool area was clean and the pool itself was a comfortable temperature.

We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well stocked and spotless. The three layers of curtains kept the room dark as well as quiet from outside noise. The bathroom and bedroom were spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable.

I recently hosted a professional conference at this hotel and the staff and facilities were top notch. Everyone was extremely friendly and exceptionally professional. At no time were we ever without a friendly face to help us with our needs. The Director of Sales, Marie, was very helpful with everything that we needed to make our conference go smoothly. And I cannot say enough about Kathy the manager, she was simply amazing. She is truly an asset to the company.

First off, we absolutely love the Courtyard by Marriott properties. I always try to find one in the area we are staying while traveling. This location is right next to the freeway, all sorts of shopping and dining. It is a fairly busy area, so getting around takes some time. But from the moment we checked in at the front desk till the day we checked out, all the staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and qualified to do their respective jobs. This location is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The room was huge and had everything we needed. I will never stay at another brand of hotel again when I travel to this area.

A friend and I had a very nice stay at the Candlewood Suites,Erie hotel, while in town to see a college friend. I'd read a few negative reviews, so I was a little nervous about the hotel, but everything was just fiine. I didn't recall the name of the young woman at the desk when we arrived, but we appreciated her checking to find a room for us, when we arrived early. She was very courteous and professional. Our double queen bed room was spacious, and very clean. We didn't need the full kitchen, but it looked like everything was provided for meal preparation. There was also a display in the lobby with many cooking items, such as crock pots, air fryers, and other specialty items that were available to borrow. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. My friend commented that she usually has trouble sleeping the first night in a strange place, but not this time. Our two nights here were some of the best sleep/rest I've had in any hotel. The bathroom was also very clean, with a wonderful shower head. They also provide Dove products, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in dispensers on the tub/shower wall. All were very nice. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when in the Erie area.

Room was dated but clean. Bathroom shower was in need of cosmetic repairs but the water pressure was great. Our coffee pot was broken but otherwise the kitchen was fully stocked ( with utensils and plates etc, not food). The bed was comfortable and we didn’t experience any real noise issues. Staff was helpful and friendly.

I stayed here for 10 days. First, the staff were all friendly and accommodating. I interacted most with Dawn (the manager) and Jasmine (night manager?). They made staying there much easier. Super accommodating, allowing me late check in and out. The housekeeping staff were also super friendly. Location was great. Free parking outside. It's right on the mall and in close proximity to a lot of other shops, restaurants and coffee. This is the perfect place if you're looking for a long term stay for the travel nurses and rotating students out there. My room had pretty much everything I needed during my stay and I was very pleased with it. You have a standard room and a mini kitchen. The kitchen had a full sized fridge, mini stove top, pots/pans and all cooking utensils you'd need. The hotel also had other cooking appliances (air fryer, hand grill, toaster over, etc) for you to check out as well. This made cooking for myself a lot easier and not needing to buy food everyday. The hotel also has a pool and a small gym (has a cable machine with some attachments, up to 25 lbs dumbbells, a bench, some yoga mats, and some cardio machines) and free laundry. Overall, I had a great stay and highly recommend this hotel. Will be staying here again my next time in Erie.

Very clean and well maintained basic accommodation with a very helpful and friendly staff. Very close to food and services and there were no issues. Perfect for just a good restful place to stay.

Kay greeted us & check in was seamless. Kay made me and my daughter I feel welcome not just like another customer. I was not sure how to adjust digital thermostat kay made sure to adjust it properly and my room was warm. I also received a late check out. It was a nice continental breakfast, I loved the foyer absolutely breathtaking, I loved decor and complimentary coffee. I will definitely be back again. John checked heat to make sure it was at a good temperature for me. Michelle brought wash cloths she was friendly and helpful. I absolutely loved days inn the location is in a nice quiet area not where it's loud and busy and it's 10 minutes away from Peach Street which I love because it's away from all of the busyness and noise but it's close enough to be able to get to the main strip. The decor was second to none when I walked into the foyer it was breathtaking. I walked into the room I like the decor the beds were comfortable It was quiet even though it is located right off of highway I had some of the best sleep. I also noticed that when you go in and out of the rooms and the doors closed there is no loud sound like I have experience with other hotels. I will definitely be staying here again and referring my clients there. Oh i almost forgot the lights that illuminate the outside of the hotel at night look amazing.I will also refer my travel clients to them. If you are looking for a nice, quite and comfortable hotel this is it.

Hotel was clean and safe but could use some upgrades. Bathroom counter was very low/short; shower and toilet could be upgraded as well. Facility was very full and a lot of movement/commotion in the area and halls. Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s an OK place for a one night stay.

I would say that our room (126) had been recently updated with vinyl plank flooring, new furniture, fresh paint and wall decor. The updates were thought out & current and not just a slap fresh paint in the room and call it updated. The a/c worked well. There was a microwave but a refrig had not been placed in the room yet. Breakfast was a simple affair including fresh fruit. The lobby is grand and a beautiful entrance. We arrived late after an unexpected hospitalization and it was nice to check in with the polite front desk host to a clean room. The parking lot was well lit.

The front desk staff were amazing. Quick service and friendly. And in the morning I was late for breakfast - not worried about getting it. And the staff member offered to get me stuff. Out of way kindness. I was good, but the fact they offered was pleasant. Bed was comfortable. Room clean.

Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Anything i needed the staff was willing to provide. Breakfast was fantastic and oh so needed. The jacuzzi was perfectly clean and comfy!

The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The room was very clean and the bed was quite comfortable. The breakfast area was small, but very clean. The continental breakfast selection was not extensive, but included a couple of hot options (e.g. waffles, eggs) which was a nice change from other smaller hotels. Although we did not use it, the hotel also had a small Bar counter with a selection of available drinks. There was also a reasonable selection of frozen and quick-serve food items for purchase. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

My top priority staying here was location and safety. I am very satisfied with both of these. The room was clean and comfortable. I stayed early in the week and it was quiet, which I appreciated. Entry into the side entrance required key access. Beds were very comfortable to me and I slept well. Breakfast was appreciated and I neither greatly liked or disliked it. I am just grateful they had the basic things to choose from; it was typical and comparable to other hotels that offer a continental breakfast. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They seemed to enjoy being there and took pride in their work. Bathroom was very clean and excellent water pressure. Only suggestion I have is that somebody should make routine rounds to ensure side entrance door is completely closed. When I arrived back to the hotel a couple of times during the day, the door was not completely closed and there wasn’t anybody outside getting in or out of their car or hanging out. I had to make sure it was closed. This only happened during the day and didn’t experience it in the evening.

I loved the room, it was comfortable and lot's of room, the bed was very comfortable. My back felt great! The pool was fun and the breakfast was delicious and a big variety of food was out. Plenty for everyone. The staff is very friendly and professional.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Our king room on the 2nd floor was clean and comfortable with a small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The indoor pool and hot tub looked clean and inviting, but we didn't use them on this visit. They provide a nice continental breakfast and offer bar service in the evening. The location was great for our visit to Presque Isle, the Bicentennial Tower, Erie sign, and local restaurants and pubs. Parking was on-site and free. We didn't bring our pup on this visit, but the hotel is dog friendly and there is a nice park directly across the street from the hotel.

The hotel has plenty of free parking and a great location just across the street from the shoreline. The staff was friendly and helpful when I needed them. The hotel lobby is neat and clean with a very small bar. The room was well maintained, clean and comfortable. There is nothing fancy but you get clean, neat and modern basic which was perfect for our 2 night stay. For the location, cleanliness, and cost this was a great stay. Would absolutely stay again.

They are located near many attractions and only a few minutes away from UPMC Hamot Hospital. They have an indoor pool which was very nice. The hot tub was closed for repairs. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The beds are soooo comfy, and the rooms have a fridge, microwave, and nice coffee maker. They have fresh coffee and tea all day and a delicious breakfast buffet with many different selections. We can’t wait to go back to Erie and plan on staying here again!!

We had a perfect stay at the Cobblestone Hotel on Bayfront Parkway in Erie. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel was very clean, the shower pressure was great and water was warm! There is a nice complementary breakfast and the coffee was delicious! There was a salt water swimming pool and we also took advantage of the hot tub. Also, the hotel was quiet and we appreciated that. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Erie and the lake!

The best part was seeing the water and the beautiful sunset. It’s nice they have an inside pool and outside pool but jacuzzi was a bonus!

Amazing hotel. It is like being at the beach. Restaurant, view of lake, near walk way on the lake, bar, coffee, lovely employees. The infinity pool is breathtaking. We had to wait for connecting rooms and they waived our parking fee and gave us bay view rooms. There is a screen in the window for fresh air. Very pet friendly. Restaurants within walking distance....all on the lake. We come every year but only second time here...........................................................

Great spot right on the water! Clean, quiet, comfortable, very well maintained. Great views of the bay, nice walkway along the water. Restaurant, bar and well equipped coffee shop for breakfast right in the lobby. I’d definitely stay again!

We absolutely love this hotel. Right on the water, such a beautiful area and view. Love the outdoor infinity pool. The front desk was so pleasant and helpful to every request. Room very clean and spacious. Love all the restaurants and bars within walking distance. Woody’s and Rum Runners were fun places to have a drink near the water with live music. The Sunset was breathtaking. Bars had great prices, too! $6.25 for a painkiller is unheard of nowadays. This was our 2nd stay here and we for sure will be coming back next time we are in the area. Thanks to hotel and staff for a wonderful stay!!!

This place is amazing. Beautiful views of the bay. Clean, comfortable rooms. But the best part is the staff. Friday, May 10 Layla and Grace took care of us. They were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back. We had dinner at the Shoreline Grille. Fish tacos were delicious. Swimming at the indoor pool was refreshing.

Room was wonderful, large and jacuzzi was so relaxing. Breakfast was hot and had so many selections, pancakes,toast, eggs, sausage, Danish, many choices and was excellent. Had some noisy hockey players but managers kept it under control.

It was okay. I was disappointed in the breakfast. It was very minimal. No sausage gravy, no biscuits, no bacon 3 out of 4 days. No oatmeal the last day. Also, the soap dish in the bathtub was mildewed. Would have liked a spa or hottub also.

The only thing I missed, the Wi-Fi didn't work, I took my ipad to the desk a couple of times and they admitted it could be intermittently. Other than that, I have no complaints, good breakfast everyday, clean room, even had a jacuzzi and used it a couple of times during the stay. I would stay there again if we go back to Erie, price was competitive I had researched the reviews prior to booking, loved the location. Everything was great!

This was a great hotel for us. Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We were there for 4 nights, and got restful sleep each night. The bed was King size and firm, but not hard. The pillows were soft, which worked well for my wife, but not so much so for me (too soft). The equipment worked well (TV, refrigerator, microwave, hairdryer), and the room had a sitting area that was comfortable with a desk for my computer. The swimming pool was clean and we were the only ones there at 8 pm, so we enjoyed the pool to ourselves. Housekeeping was efficient and their service was good. The hotel was located close to the interstate, but turned 90 degrees to it, so the road noises were minimal, and there was no noises from upper floors as some hotels have. The TV had great channels including TMC, so my wife and I watched a movie each night, with no commercials. Breakfast was good -- good selection of tasty foods including French toast, pancakes, fresh scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages, and very good coffee with "regular" or "dark roast" choices. Good enough that we ate there all four mornings. The location was within a ten minute drive of just about everything we wanted to see and do in Erie, and several good local restaurants for lunch and supper, so we never had to use a chain restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel -- I'd rate it as 10 out of 10, which I rarely do.

The hotel was not very busy at the time of my stay which was perfect! Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were friendly and very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was nice and the 24 hr availability of coffee was an added bonus!

Check in was quick & easy. Management was friendly & made me feel welcome. I liked the goodie bag I received upon checking in. The lobby & breakfast area was clean & I enjoyed the relaxing music playing. There's a Keurig by the desk which had a nice selection of coffee to choose from. My room was clean & the bed & bedding was comfortable. I got a good night's sleep each night of my vacation. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. There was a nice selection of hot & cold foods plus fruit, pastries, juice & coffee. This Sleep Inn is located close to a lot off restaurants, shopping & wineries. Presque Isle & The Bayfront are a short drive too. Also there's lots of parking at this hotel.

We booked here based on previous reviews. Our room was clean, bedding was great. The bathroom was one of the cleanest we’ve experienced. It even had a small fridge snd microwave. The owner operators are so pleasant. The lobby and breakfast area was spotless . The hotel is in a great area. Felt very safe taking our dog out for a walk. The breakfast was a cut above the norm. Eggs, sausage rounds fresh fruit, waffles, toast, bagels, pastries, cereal, yogurt. If you go hunger it’s your own fault. And it also had the best coffee we’ve had in the past month. The Americano was delicious. We will be using this hotel from now to and from Myrtle Beach!

Rooms were together as requested, clean, had nice supplies, refrigerator in my room was good. The breakfast was great and the ice machine was also great. Enjoyed the coffee and tea supplies etc. in room and all the fresh brewed coffee in the lobby, and additional items were much appreciated ! Staff was welcoming and friendly , which is always a good sign and needed for travelers in a new place/city .

This hotel yes is fairly new but this hotel is always clean, the rooms are always clean. Bathrooms a very clean. The beds are comfortable, the people there are very friendly. The only thing is the cigarette butts outside of the hotel and they should spend just a little bit of time to clean that up and provide seating for non smokers. Will definitely continue to stay there.

After a red eye flight and busy day the check in process was simple, friendly and efficient. Room was ready and exceptionally clean. The rooms are small but very well set up with everything you need. Bed and linens were super comfortable. Breakfast was good, nothing exceptional but a variety of items and good coffee. This hotel is a great value. I would highly recommend.

This is a quiet hotel located in the parking lot of the Millcreek Mall. We only stayed one night, so I'm not sure if the maids clean every day or only at checkout. We didn't get a chance to try the pool, but it looked nice. Pros: Quiet hotel. I never heard anyone in the rooms next to us or in the hallway. Very clean room. The staff is friendly and answered all of our questions. Breakfast is included with your stay. Cons: The sink and mirror are inside the bathroom instead of outside. This slows down getting ready in the morning. The breakfast area should be redesigned. People waiting for toast or waffles are in the way of getting the rest of the food.

Staff was very friendly and personable, hotel was clean and quiet (even being filled with hockey players), staff was very attentive to making sure there were towels in the pool area, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and filling as compared to most hotels. Would love to stay again in the future!

Thea at the front desk was lovely and kind. The rooms were clean and breakfast was perfect. The beds were very comfortable-no back pain :) The adjacent malls were enjoyable. Many restaurants to choose from in the vicinity.

My husband and I stopped en route to Cleveland because our car needed to recharge and the weather had become nasty - lots of snow and poor visibility. It was our good fortune to see the Baymont Wyndham so close by the Supercharger. The young lady (Neveah) at the desk was cheerful, welcoming, and helpful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The heat worked well, the shower had good water pressure, and the breakfast bar was convenient and well stocked. BTW: We found a delightful family run Italian restaurant (Colao’s) just a few miles away. All in all, we had a terrific unexpected stop in this area. We’ll be back again.

Wonderful motel with all promises met, including working gym equipment Spacious clean room, great beds, good shower, and tasty breakfast. We were on the second floor, not our favorite, but no problem, as the elevators were quick and always available. Sheetz right across the parking lot which was super, as we were too tired to drive to dinner and were able to purchase fresh veggies and fruit, cooked chicken, fresh sandwiches, and dessert there. Very helpful front desk staff too.

I booked for my daughter who was travelling alone. She said it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. She mentioned the parking lot was well-lit. She arrived after dark. She felt safe and comfortable. Well-lit parking lot. The Property felt very safe. The breakfast had lots of options, nothing prepackaged.

Bed is very comfortable. I travel alone and I stay for a week. I feel so safe. The door has door lock and the glass window has the lock that prevent to fully open the window if someone has intention to break in. The Hotel is very quiet. The room is being clean at 2 times a day. The breakfast is good but I wish they alternate the items. For the 7 days stay, I notice fried egg, sausage and ham. Sausage and Ham is not my type of breakfast. The front desk is so helpful too.

Rooms were very clean. Beds comfy and clean. Property was clean. Breakfast was good enough. Scrambled eggs, bacon, gravy, toast, bagels, fruit, cereal, yogurt and other good stuff. The coffee was great! Check in was smooth! Our every need was met!

We make several trips a year to Erie and this is by far our favorite Erie hotel. The staff are ALWAYS very friendly, accommodating, and welcoming after our 8 hour drive - and even when we bring our 2 dogs <3 The room (2 bedroom suite - has TWO bathrooms!!! If you have kids, you'll understand the joy this brings!!) is delightful - the fireplace and full kitchen make it HOME immediately and the lobby lounge area is so so so nice for a quiet break while the kids swim (we have an adult with them at all times, but the rest of us can watch through the glass without having to hear all the ruckus) Breakfast does not disappoint - good, fresh and hot options in a relaxed seating area. Coffee and other hot beverages are self-serve avail 24/7...and the coffee is GOOD, too!! Small dog walk area plus plenty of outdoor garbage receptacles make pet maintenance easier. Shopping is a short walk, with full grocery or restaurants within a 5 min drive. Excellent location, plenty of parking, relaxed feel, amazing staff, all the amenities - this hotel is awesome in every way!

The room was clean. The kitchen was perfect for preparing light meals. The continental breakfast was amazing. They are in full remodeling & you’d never know. It’s quiet, it’s clean & there is zero interruption of your stay while they update other wings and areas. Super amazing property with an excellent price

The suite was clean, the bed comfortable, and the kitchen area nice. The included breakfast was generous and tasty, with options for all. The front desk was friendly and responsive. The only disappointment was the indoor heated pool. The water was cool and the pool depth is only 3 feet. It is not a pool for swimming but would be good for younger kids. The location is convenient to shopping and restaurants (suburban area). Uber service was terrific.

This was an amazing place to stay with our family that included a toddler! The breakfast was amazing, the 2 bedroom suite was perfect for our family! It was exceptionally clean and staff was friendly!

We stayed for a total of 10 nights at the hotel. The first 3 nights were not so good as on our 1st night to check in after all day traveling there was no running water from 11pm to 3am. 2nd day at the complementary breakfast spread from 8am there were no more eggs. 3rd night the bathroom toilet water overflowed while we were showering and ran almost into the bedroom. Besides those first 3 nights. The property was clean and the staff were friendly. The parking lot felt safe and was well lit. The complimentary breakfast for the remaining trip was nice as the food was hot, fresh and sufficient for all guests. The convenience of the laundry room with a washer and several dryers was good. I also appreciated the availability of the computer room with a printer for guest use as I was able to print my prescriptions. Overall it was a good stay but there a few minor tweaks that can be made.

We were greeted promptly and warmly by the staff. The room was amenable and clean, fully stocked with a small fridge/microwave/iron. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets, as well as a large tv. Breakfast was served in a common area, but I would've loved some warm chai instead of the coffee served. The breakfast included dry cereals and fresh fruit along with some small pastries, all complimentary. We gladly would've paid more for a small menu of warm eggs and toast. Overall, we were pleased and would definitely return and recommend to friends.

Very unique place, eclectic style. Very clean, very dated furnishings but functional enough. The gentleman who checked us in (owner?)was super nice and informative and seem genuinely concerned that we had the best experience. Beds and pillows were nice and comfortable. The continental breakfast was fine, the fruit was fresh and the “dining room” was reminiscent of a home in the 80’s. The best part was the pool which was clean and maintained well and heated! For the price it was really quite nice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone on a budget just looking for an comfortable overnight stay before heading to your destination.

The Glass House Inn was a great place to stay while we visited Lake Erie. The rooms were more spacious than I expected. They were also very clean and maintained. The beds were very comfortable as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They truly cared about our stay and making us feel welcome. They are located only minutes from the Lake and other attractions. I highly recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Lake Erie,

Very clean and the property was well maintained. Beds were a bit stiff but pillows were very comfortable. Bathroom is clean and amenities recently renovated. Only concern was we payed for three guests but only had towels for two. Had to dry after shower with two hand towels

This is a no-frills motel but it was clean and spacious. So, for the price that we paid, it was excellent. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and there was coffee in the foyer after 6:30 a.m. There was no fridge or coffee in the room, but again, for the price, it was fine, since we only stayed one night.

Very clean and comfortable room. Coffee provided in the office for breakfast. All staff members were pleasant and professional. Facility is well maintained and I encountered no issues during my stay.

The room was clean, the staff friendly. The bed was very comfortable. Being able to park right in front of your room makes easier unloading and loading your vehicle. Close to a fast food restaurant for easy access to a quick breakfast or snack before starting your day.

It was perfect for myself, husband and our 10 year old. The room was very very clean. Staff was very friendly. I liked the fact the sink wasn't in the bathroom and there was a ton of space for stuff. The shower had lots of storage to place bottles too. We went to splash lagoon and this hotel is about a 5-7 min drive there. Lots of food places around and since its off the main road, it was quiet outside.

It was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, fresh, and well kept. You could tell they took pride in the motel. When we complimented them on the motel at check out one of the staff members said "we want people to feel at home and you shouldn't have to spend a lot of money to get that." I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying in Erie, PA.

clean, great location, breakfast & hottub

It was attractive, reasonably priced, quite clean and well kept...mostly. We were greeted and checked in by a pleasant and helpful employee who was very welcoming. A few issues showed up. First off, I noticed the shower door in the room was more than a bit out of whack. Second, though the pool area was clean, open and seemingly well-maintained, the hot tub was a bit disappointing. The group in it had been unable to find the controls for the jets and though we found them, the effect was disappointing; only a few worked, and they were anemic. Though the bed was comfortable, the pillows were terrible--nothing to them. Then there was breakfast; it was the most disorganized breakfast area I've seen in a motel. Coffee was in one spot, hot water in another. The toasters were not with anything you might care to toast...just no thought to the place. The coffee was OK, but nothing to rave over. The offerings were omelets, which were about burned, sausage that was and some potatoes that didn't have much flavor. There were waffle makers there that seemed to be getting some use, though we opted for getting something to eat on the road after checking out. Will we return? Probably, but our expectations will not be high, it'll just be a port in a storm.

In a perfect location, right by the mall, the zoo, restaurants, and only 15 minutes from the beach! Staff at the front desk and in the breakfast area were really friendly and helpful. Room was pretty clean. Beds were comfy. The kids loved the pool area and I loved the hot tub! Continental breakfast was good; wide variety of items and two waffle makers. Hot water in the showers for four of us to take them one right after the other. Overall no complaints. Would stay here again if coming back to Erie. Thank you!

I am always worried about the cleanliness of a hotel and I was happy with this one. Room was nice and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and delicious even at the end. The coffee wasn’t good…too weak and would be nice if breakfast ended at 10 instead of 9:30 but that stuff is minor. Overall very happy and would stay here again.

Second day for 1 night as we stayed last summer. It’s interesting. there really aren’t many hotels right up here near presque isle and Waldemer park. There are ones within maybe 10 minutes but nothing right here except this hotel or the very expensive three bayfront hotels. That being said it was packed in the summer with families going to the park and the beach. The price isn’t bad I think with tax was around $140.00. I do stand by the fact it needs a good renovation, but for the price with a breakfast and an outdoor pool and the location it’s pretty hard to beat. Rooms were pretty good clean and comfortable beds were great. It’s just the whole hotel itself needs an overhaul and it’s very dark.Breakfast is free which is appreciated. However it’s somewhat small crowded and they don’t clean up with it well in between people. The outdoor pool is wonderful. It’s very nice was clean and we enjoyed watching planes come in and out as the airport is close. For families looking to be close to things and have a pool and breakfast It works well.

We loved the location, the rooms were clean and very comfortable. The staff were amazing and friendly. Even though we did not use the pool , it looked very clean and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious.

We stayed the night of the eclipse. The staff were upbeat and friendly. Breakfast exceeded expectations...scrambled eggs, sausage links and patties were freshly cooked and tasty. Despite the crowd the person in charge of breakfast kept everything stocked and clean. Special call out to the woman at reception who answered the phone and answered my questions a month (and a week) before my arrival. VERY upbeat, friendly, and HELPFUL.

Safe area, clean lobby and room and lighted parking. Efficient, friendly staff. Comfortable bedding. Wish all the Choice hotels were this nice. Walking distance to restaurants. Only downfall and not that of the staff was the rude guest who chose to fill his whole cooler with ice and leave the ice machines on 2 floors empty. Seriously you could have bought a whole bag from a gas station for $3.00. Very inconsiderate. Would be a plus if Choice would upgrade the quality of the breakfast. Would definitely stay at this Choice again.

This is an older property located very close to Presque Isle. We’ve stayed over near the convention center in the past but wanted something closer. This is more affordable and much more convenient. It was very busy with mostly families. The pool was small but nice and very popular. The rooms are dated but still clean and spacious. The breakfast included eggs, breakfast meat, and waffles, as well as cereal and breads. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I wish it was just a little more updated but we had a pleasant night and found it to be a good value for the money.

This wonderful resort property for Lake Erie wine country is a must stay!! The owners Brian & Jen are so welcoming, friendly, helpful, provide old fashion hospitality & the cleanest rooms/cottages!!! You will have several delightful options for lodging - hotel rooms, mini cottages, larger cottages and a classic airstream camper!!!! - all of which are noteworthy & will suit every need. Located directly ON the lake. this property has magnificent sunset views of Lake Erie from their grassy knoll while sitting in comfy Adirondack chairs ( sipping wine of course)! There is no other place to stay when visiting Lake Erie wine country than Lakeview on the Lake. So convenient to the wineries, breweries, restaurants & quaint towns.. we won’t need to travel far to get to them. We will be back again very soon! Thank you for a most memorable stay!

We had an excellent 1 night stay here. Our cottage was neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The property is well cared for. There are a number of choices of things to do and places to eat. Skunk and Goat restaurant was recommended by the desk. We had a very enjoyable dinner there. Northeast is a very cute little town with a nice park in the center. We also had a great lunch at Pier 6 in Erie. Our server/bartender was outstanding. (And working her way through nursing school). Breakfast at Butch’s Dinner was fun. A very small local diner. You’d probably never notice it unless someone recommended it or you found it on Yelp. Worth a visit! Plenty of wineries, antique stores and interesting architecture along the lake and route 20.

The owners were amazing, welcoming and friendly. Me and my boyfriend felt immediately at home. Our room was very comfortable and perfect for our long weekend vacation. The view of the lake and distance to everything was great! It was also great that you had access to a private entrance to the lake beach area via flight of stairs to enjoy the view of the lake as well!

Charming cozy cabin style room with refrigerator and microwave great for families! We loved enjoying a glass of wine while watching the sunset over Lake Erie,while our kids entertained themselves on the playground equipment. Families may enjoy spending the night in the Airstream camper or the full size RV on the grounds, and couples or small families may love the cottages. The tranquility of the lakefront setting surrounded by trees, the fun of the playground, the cozy room and the warm service by the owners made for a really relaxing and pleasant stay. We could have stayed at one of the new corporate hotels on Erie Bayfront downtown, but we wanted something more rustic and with a family friendly camp feeling, and we got that at Lakeview on the Lake.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at lakeview on the lake. We would never go anywhere else. This location is close to local wineries and close to the bay side. The first time we came we stayed in the airstream which was a wonderful experience. The second time we stayed in the romantic sweet. We loved this more as it was much more spacious. The owners are so friendly and the rooms are very cabin country feeling with modern amenities. The view is beyond any view to wake up to. If your looking for something outside the city that has a warm home feeling this is the place to stay. Will definitely be our home away from home. We will be coming back year after year.

Great experience at Red Roof in downtown Erie. Was traveling solo for a combination of work and fun. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and met my needs. Convenient location downtown with lots of restaurants/bars/ballpark/etc. within a short walking distance, including bayfront places just about a short 30 minute walk. Presque Isle beaches only about a 10-15 minute drive. Will definitely stay there again if work brings me back to Erie!

The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. We brought our dog with us and they have an area to take them out! The price was very good and not far from Presque Isle. This will be our place to stay from now on.
