Very, very clean! Great ammenities! They went out of their way to provide exactly what we needed in our cabin for an infant. Items were already in our cabin when we arrived; pack n play, high chair, baby gates. Their list of helpful items includes anything you could ever think of, from a wheelchair to baby equipment. Beds were so comfortable, even the pull out couch was amazingly comfortable. Loved the fire pit right outside our door, hot tub was so relaxing, their staff was incredibly sweet and helpful, softest towels in the bathrooms, kitchen well stocked, spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin, quiet location, great proximity to everything, lovely fireplace, updated cabin, outdoor pool, playgroud, 3 hot tubs, peaceful and beautiful setting with rocking chairs and benches for enjoying the outdoors. We interacted with several of their staff and everyone was exceptionally kind, helpful, and personable. Remarkable place and we are still glowing from time spent at Ram's Horn Village Resort. Can't wait to return again next year!

On a recent trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. We were looking for a place for two couples to spend 3 nights. At first we opted for a hotel in Estes Park. After, checking out other options we found Rams Horn Village Resort. We found it cost us a lot less than booking two hotel rooms. The resort is near the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, which made it very convenient. Plus it was only a short 2 mile ride, if we wanted to go into Estes Park. The unit we had, had ample room. We had two bedrooms, 2 baths, living room, dinette and kitchen. The beds were very comfortable with great linens. Bathrooms had good water pressure and soft towels. It also had great wifi, which is a plus in this area. There was a tv in the living room and each of the bedrooms. There was a pool and numerous hot tubs throughout the property. We found the property and condo to be very clean with all the conveniences we needed. One day we even found a slow cooker, went to the store and made a great stew. After a day of hiking it was nice to come back to dinner ready. Then we just relaxed with the warmth of the fireplace. The staff was also very helpful, with any issues, directions or recommendations we needed. There were also a a few bars and restaurants a short walk away. We would definitely recommend Rams Horn Village Resort to family and friends. The scenery was fantastic.

On arrival to check-in, the staff was super friendly and helpful in recommending access to RMNP with the timed entry procedures. The property was kept up really well, we used the hot tub everyday after returning from hiking in RMNP, it was very relaxing and quiet. I really liked that the property location was off the main road and was very quiet but also the road to get to RMNP was just down the street by less than a 1/4 mile. The house when walking in smelled very fresh and clean, the whole house was cleaned meticulously and it was super comfortable, probably one of the best stays I’ve had in a Colorado mountain town!!

The location was amazing and super close to everything! The staff was overly friendly and so helpful with recommendations. Wild life was plentiful and so fun to see. Full equipped kitchen for cooking. Free laundry was awesome (bring laundry pods or .50 for detergent) also included six beach towels for the pool. Full sized appliances. A huge binder with an info on everything from RMNP to restaurants and shops. Clubhouse with games, books, and dvds to check out and popsicles in the fridge. The pool was large and very clean.

The room was spotless everyday! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The area around the inn is gorgeous as well. Our room was overlooking the river and it was beautiful. One of the best parts of the Silver Moon Inn is its location. It’s on the edge of town so you are surrounded by trees and the river runs right in front of the Inn. It is located at the end of the downtown Main Street where most of the shops and restaraunts are. You can walk to downtown in 3 or 4 minutes. it was like a winter wonderland! There were smores for the kids by the fire every night! It was picture perfect! The downtown area is decorated like a Hallmark movie during Christmas! Breakfast is also provided, but if you want a hot breakfast and are extremely hungry the best breakfast in town is just a one minute walk away at the Big Horn restaurant! I can not say enough about how awesome this place is!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Silver Moon Inn. It is a great location within Estes Park: a pleasant walk to many restaurants, bars, and shops, plus less than a 15-minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park. Our spacious Deluxe King had a balcony overlooking the creek at the front of the property and was very quiet at night. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The fire pits created a great ambience in the evening, and the free smores were a nice touch. Yes, breakfast was not anything special, but it worked for us - just something quick before we headed into the park. We are already saying that we want to return and stay there again!

4 night stay, 2 queen balcony room. Cute, clean, comfortable, and quiet. Balcony was nice. Not private, had 2 chairs, tho no table. Check in was friendly and efficient. Covered jacuzzi and outdoor pool. Quick 10 minute drive to RMNP visitor center, which made it super convenient to the Park. Breakfast was nice with plenty of hot and cold choices that rotated daily. Would definitely stay again!!

The rooms were very clean and roomy enough for a family of 3. Easy access to both ends of Estes Park. The staff was amazing and answered all our questions. They never made us feel like we were asking too many. The pool and jacuzzi was amazing after a day of sightseeing. The hot breakfast each morning helped us fuel for the day ahead. We will be coming back if we visit again. 😊

Quant cabins set in a private area near the river. The resort was generally quiwt and relaxing. The cabins had everything needed for cooking a simple meal. The beds are comfortable and everything was very clean. I forgot an item upon check out and staff promptly mailed back to me with no hassle Small firepit area was an added perk. Did not have time to use the hottub though

This little gem is absolutely amazing and delightful. I was blown away at how clean and cozy our cabin was. It was the quintessential mountain cabin, updated and beyond clean. Check in was so easy too. Key was ready and leaving is just a quick drop off. Dedicated parking spot for convenience and easy to reach management if there are any issues (there were none ) . My only tip is if you stay here, bring a little cash to leave for the room cleaner, there is a gratuity envelope in the room & shame on me for not having cash because I felt our cabin was Exceptionally SPARKLING CLEAN. We had a party to attend at the Stanley and it was about a 4 minute drive on one road .. Will absolutely be back

What a FANTASTIC place to stay! We rented the fishermans cabin and it was perfect for our family of 4. Queen bed and a bunk bed. Couch pulls out for a bed and was comfortable. Full size fridge, small stove/oven. Linens provided and comfortable Location was close to town, and close to RMNP. River ran right through the property. It was great to wake up to the sound of rushing water. Hiking trail on property. Kids lo ed exploring and playing around the playground. Owners were great and very accommodating. We booked again for the holidays.

Amazing place to stay - super clean and nice, with fully equipped kitchen and a comfortable bed! Located just by the river, and that was so nice to have a breakfast at the balcony with the river view that we had in our unit. The place also has a fireplace and shared hot tub, both were so nice after the whole day of hiking. Every unit also has a BBQ grill! Rocky Mountains National Park entrance is just 15 minutes far, and that was extremely convenient for early hikes. All the restaurants and bars of Estes Park are also located nearby.

Excellent location for the Fall River Road entrance to the Rocky Mountain National Park which is one of the quieter entrances with shorter queues. Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Ample parking. Quiet location on edge of town. Estes Park has very good facilities and amenities for tourists. Large, comfortable bedroom. Air con fans effective. Nice balcony and sitting room. Comfortable and generally well kept. Good but not 5 star in my opinion. Would stay again. Had a great week in the RMNP. Lots to see and do in the area. We enjoyed hiking, scenic drives, wildlife spotting and eating out.

Leather sofa could be replaced as it was uncomfortable to sit in with little cushion support. Bed comfortable but could use a bit of pillow top as it was quite firm. It was very nice! The restaurant that is no longer apart of Nicky’s resort wapiti bar was amazing! Friendly staff and owner and amazing food and drinks. Nicky’s resort was wondering. The river rooms were cozy with a fire place and very clean. We will go back!

Amazing! The hotel is located right along Fall River. The river flows through the property and it’s quite beautiful to see and very peaceful to hear. You’re far enough away from town and the hustle and bustle but still close enough to be downtown in a few minutes. The best part? You’re located a few miles (5 minutes) from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park! And it’s the less busy entrance! Easy access to the park and down the road from the historic Stanley hotel. Room was very clean and had a cozy feel. Also, the restaurant located on the property called the Wapiti Pub was EXCELLENT!

This place is exactly what you want if you like a rustic experience without camping. It’s located just outside the downtown area of Estes Park. It has a terrific view of one of the smaller peaks. There’s a pool and the rooms are kitschy and fun. Each room has a balcony that’s connected where you can sit and hang out. Did not visit the non-affiliated restaurant since there are many wonderful and much better restaurants downtown, just a few minutes drive away. Fun place!

This resort is a quiet serene spot on the river. It’s not fancy but it gets major points for having everything a young family or a couple could want for a few days. Within a stone’s throw to a tasty restaurant and amazing access to the river it checked all my Colorado boxes. There was even an early evening male elk who sauntered his way through the property! I hope to be back again in the future!

This hotel was perfect for our trip -- clean, spacious, comfortable, quiet, and in a wonderful location! We had a balcony off of our room and the view of the mountains was breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting outside with our coffee in the mornings and watching the animals in the field across the street. There are also multiple restaurant and cafes literal steps from the property, as well as a gas station, convenience store, and gift shop less than a five minute walk away. This hotel was truly everything we needed and more!

I really liked this hotel/motel. I typically stay at chain hotels such as Best Western, Hyatt, or Hilton. Estes is full of privately owned lodging. Many of them looked very welcoming. Our room at The Alpine Trail Ridge Inn was given a face-lift: painted walls, new carpet, new bedding. It was still very clean and fresh. We had the two double beds. Plenty of room around the beds. We paid the extra $20 and got a room with a balcony. To enjoy as much fresh air as we could, we opened both doors and the cool breeze flowed through the whole room.Our room, 135, had the balcony facing out to the road. It didn't bother us at all. Once the sliding glass door closed it was quiet. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony chairs watching the elk feeding and stopping traffic as they cross the street. Each room gets an assigned parking stall that is close to your room. Don´t let the lower price fool you. It´s a nice place.

My family had a very nice stay in this property. It was practically at the front door of the Rocky Mountain National Park. The property might be dated but everything works, the rooms were very quiet and the beds were comfortable. Close proximity to dining options and 2 gas stations and a little over a mile from downtown Estes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We now know we’re booking here again for our next Rockies trip. We stayed 3 nights. Get the rooms with a balcony if you can, the views are priceless, have your morning coffee looking at the mountains and elk and moose grazing in the meadow, time slows down…vacation mode.

Location was great with just a few minutes drive to downtown Estes Park, and only a few miles from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. We had a great view from our balcony. The property was very quiet, especially for being on the way to RMNP.

Our stay at the resort was amazing! I read some reviews that got me nervous at first but I think something to understand is that 1) Estes Park is a generally expensive place to stay 2) you’re really paying for the location of this place - not amenities as you have to pay for everything there. The staff was so great and helpful! The lake had water in it this year so it was perfect for the kids to play. The resort is right beside a great playground and close to the mustang mountain coaster, and a great go-kart/ mini golf. It was also close to the mountain shop where I rented a backpack kids carrier. And away from the traffic of downtown. Overall great place to stay with kids. I also saw a lot of bad reviews about the garden view king - so when I called the resort and learned that that was the room I had, I changed to a ridge view which was totally worth it. I would have been very disappointed with the garden view as it is not much of a view at all. Just a concrete wall. I do wish they offered breakfast. The Dunraven was okay. Some Dunraven staff was nice, others weren’t. They were very snooty about reservations. Be prepared to need reservations a day or two in advance. They are not very accommodating to hotel guests nor did they seem to care. Overall resort - clean, great location, family friendly. Dunraven - good food but don’t expect resort treatment.

We loved this property. Beautiful. Clean. Close to the town of Estes, Rocky Mount Park, and Boulder only 40 min drive. Rooms are so nice, lots of storage space, fireplace in the room so relaxing. Mattresses are comfortable. The food at Embers (the onsite restaurant) is amazing. Muffins with the morning coffee are delicious. And amazing views in every direction. Staff friendly and extremely helpful. Loved every min.

This is a very nice hotel with exceptional staff and a great restaurant. Our lakeside room gave us a fabulous view of the snow capped peaks of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Parking is extremely convenient. Our check-in by Maximillian was friendly and comprehensive. The Embers Restaurant provided a very memorable meal with the wait staff again providing 5 star service. I highly recommend the venison and buffalo entrees. It’s a four minute drive to downtown Estes Park. I’ve been to nicer facilities but have never had better service. But make sure to get a lakeside room and eat at Embers to make the stay truly memorable.

This is a lovely resort, however we did not have a $470/night experience. My expectations from the pictures were that it was more secluded, private, and quiet. There are only a few amenities or extra spaces to explore. You hear traffic noise coming from across the lake. If sitting out on your balcony, be prepared to see and hear everything your neighbor says, as there isn't privacy. Little things like a loud refrigerator, dust under the room bench, and cobwebs on the balcony did not give it a resort-polished feel. The lake is beautiful and close to a lot of great Estes restaurants. I enjoyed the walking path around the lake as well! Romantic electric fireplace (no heat, but pretty). We did not spend much time in the room because we hiked so much, so it met our needs just fine. Ember, the restaurant located there, was amazing. The staff overall helpful and kind.

This is a clean and quiet hotel. It is just 10-minutes from the Beaver Meadows entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park and just a bit further from the Fall River entrance. Parking is available in front of each room. The hotel staff are nice and helpful. My room had a comfortable bed, a small refrigerator, and a 2-cup coffee maker. The shower was tiny. Breakfast was very limited. The choices when I was there were cereal (Apple Jacks or Frosted Flakes), croissants, muffins, and coffee.

Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Location was quiet, despite being close to the road (to my surprise, I didn't notice it at all). Motel is about a 5 min drive from downtown Estes and 20 mins from Beaver Meadows entrance to Rocky Mountains National Park. Room and facilities were very clean and we felt comfortable there. The hot-tub and pool were much appreciated after a day in the mountains. Breakfast could be better but i've definitely had worse. They offer fresh bagels and muffins, spreadable things like cream cheese, jello/jam, and peanut butter, as well as apple sauce, fresh fruit (apples, bananas, oranges), cereal, various types of milk, coffee, juice, water, and hot chocolate. Would definitely stay again!

Friendly and helpful staff. I am a coffee person, so the filters in the room made it possible for me to brew my coffee with my own coffee. Room was comfortable and clean. able to Park by your room with no stairs.

The motel is old but it is well maintained. It is out of town a mile or so, which was nice. The highway is not very busy so it is fairly quiet and peaceful. The family that runs it does a good job. Breakfast was very minimal but then coffee was good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

First, the staff at this hotel are wonderful. Jae greeted us at the front desk and changed rooms to accommodate our request promptly and kindly. Alexis checked to make sure all maintenance needs were taken care of in our room, and Diana checked daily to see that the room was as clean and comfortable as we needed. Mario greeted us each morning and practiced Spanish with my daughter. Second, the room we had was clean and spacious with a great view, fridge and microwave. Third, the breakfast buffet had great pastries and coffee with many options and proteins, too. The restaurant had great elk nachos too! The location of this hotel is also great- right in the heart of EstesPark with free parking and 10 minutes to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. Lastly, the amenities and little things are done well here- there is a water bottle refill station where you can pick water temperature, flavor and even add seltzer. The pool is huge with a screen for movies above and floaties/toys for kids. The hot tub is nice and the fire pits with s’mores that they give out at the front desk create an added bonus. I would not think twice about booking this hotel again for my next visit here.

Close to main drag with stores and restaurants by a short walk. There are closer places to stay but this is close enough. We ended up driving to the main strip but could walk. Plenty of free parking lots on main strip. Hotel had a lot of amenities such as fire pits with coupon for a s’mores kit per person per stay included. There is a $15/ day charge for amenities. Had indoor pool and hot tub. Pool was nice. Only complaint was they had disco lights on Thursday night which was annoying. Nice game room with old time arcade games for no charge with pool table, ping pong table, basketball goal and foosball. Had workout room but this really needs to be redone. Had old treadmill, bike and couple other things. Few kettlebells and weights. Free weights were lacking. Nothing between 5# and 20#. No free breakfast. Has a restaurant where you can purchase breakfast buffet for $17.99. Does have free Starbucks machine and flavored water machine. Room was comfortable with small mini fridge and 1 chair. Didn’t care for lamps by bed which dangled face down and pillows were not comfortable. Shower made a noise when it was running but bathroom very clean and showers worked well. Provided in room for use was pair of binoculars and a walking stick which we made use of. All in all I really liked the hotel. It was nice coming back each night and having options of things to do.

On a recent two night stay with my wife, we had a standard mountain view stair access room. The room was located in one of the back buildings withe the stairs being a bit narrow. The door to the room was challenging to open. I don't know if was because the door is metal or the mechanism to close the door was overly tight. The room was much more spacious than most I have stayed in. It was clean and the beds comfortable. There was no microwave in the room, but there was one in the main lobby for guests. That seems a bit unusual and an inconvenience if you need to warm up leftovers from the night before you may have brought home and put in the small fridge in the room or warm up your coffee you made in the room. Otherwise, it is in a great location to drive to RMNP or into the small downtown area with shops and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful too.

Overall I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is close to attractions like Estes lake, downtown, restaurants, etc. The room was nice and clean. The bed and pillows and comfy. Nice water pressure in the shower. It’s pet friendly with convenient dog areas. The lobby has cute hangout areas. The staff are nice and helpful. The TV in my room wasn’t working and they sent someone up immediately to address. I don’t eat at the onsite restaurant but was glad to know it was there in case I wanted to. I would stay here again.

Jennifer at the front desk is delightful. You will be warmly welcomed and informed of anything you need with her. Feels like a resort with many family friendly activities. Great location in Estes Park and close to RMNP. The Coffee and flavored water bar was a nice amenity. S’mores (free) by the fire at night and free taffy in the reception were fun extras that you don’t find elsewhere. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Clean towels daily were great. Overall a great stay in a beautiful place. We would not Hesitate to stay here again! Thank you Jennifer! You’re an asset to the company!

Nice little pond, Gazebo, firepits. Continental breakfast had fresh fruit and cocktail fruit cups, yogurt, apple or orange juice, tea, coffee and hot water, dry cereals, toast and mini muffins. Didn't make it to the outdoor hot tub as it was too windy. Walking distance down to the Visitors Center, less than half a mile to free shuttle buses for the weekend for the Dead Guy Days Festival. Thank you for the great communication in email reminders, texts and late check-in instructions to get to the room, map, wifi etc.

Our room had a balcony with views over the small lake and golf course which meant we could sit and watch (and hear) the elk and many birds. The room was clean and comfortable, not the biggest, but still plenty of room with a large and comfortable king bed. The staff were friendly and helpful and this was excellent value for money, particularly for Estes Park. Close to the river trail and very easy drive to RMNP entrance.

We were provided the room 201 and it was fantastic! Tastefully decorated as well as very clean and warm. We went there during the Thanksgiving - off season so there wasn't a ton to do around. We were glad we chose Discovery Lodge as we spent considerable time in the room which is unusual for us. The room was spacious and the beds (1 queen in main bedroom and 2 twins in the other room) were very comfortable with extra pillows in the closet. Large TVs in both the rooms were fantastic. Bathroom was very clean and had plenty of towels. Heating worked well making the room cozy. The room itself is at a corner and at ground level. The property has several buildings and is weirdly laid out. The parking lot could have been cleaner as there was a ton of slush due to the snow it must have got before. This posed some risk, especially because the main door wasn't open so we were forced to walk through the slush/ice. Morning breakfast was typical - Bread, Butter, Store bought cupcakes and waffles, fruits, yogurt, oatmeal and cereals. Espresso machine was nice. The support staff could have been more smiling and friendly though they were certainly polite.

The lodge was quaint and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was exceptional as it was less than a half mile to walk to the main street in Estes Park on a walking path. We had a room with nice big windows and a small balcony with 2 chairs that had a view of the pond and golf course where elk were seen every day. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was a nice size and looked like it was recently updated. Even though our room backed to the main highway, we did not hear any noise if we kept our windows shut. The air conditioner worked well and kept the room cool, although it was a little bit noisy while running. The basic continental breakfast was handy in the morning.

For the price, you cannot beat this place. It was incredibly clean, the views were awesome, they are pet friendly (the fee is only $20) and the staff was incredible. We had a small hiccup with the drain in our shower on the first night, when we decided to stay because of the area they kindly upgraded us to one of their more updated rooms (looks like they all will be renovated soon) and it was BEAUTIFULLY done. The hot tub and comfortable bed was awesome after a day of hiking! We will definitely be staying here on our next trip!

We were in Estes for a family reunion so we basically needed a place to sleep because we’d be busy during the day. The motel was super clean and had been recently completely renovated. I learned from the hostess at the front desk that the owners had basically gutted the entire motel and started over. The bed was comfy, the coffee in the Kcup machine was good, the water was hot, the shower was great and was nice and tall, the towels and sheets were good quality, I appreciated the liquid hand soap, lotion, shampoo and conditioner that was available, the room had a fridge and microwave, I was happy to see the hair dryer and Kleenexes, and there was a wardrobe with an extra blanket and hangers along with a drawer. You could tell they had thought of all of the basic comforts a traveler would need—and this was just a plain, single room. The decor was a blend of minimalist modern and classic and not the kitsch mountain decor that’s often overwhelming in some places. Some of their other rooms offer even more amenities like a fireplace. The lobby had a water dispenser with hot and cold water that we utilized every day. They don’t have offer breakfast but Estes had a ton of food choices (including coffee shops, a crepe place, and a bagel store). Best of all, the check-in experience was simple even though we came into town late and the office had closed. And, when we had a chance to interact with the hostess, she was warm and friendly and a pleasure to get to know.

This place was perfect for an over night before heading into RMNP. Not sure about the rest of the property, but our room had clearly been taken down to the studs and remodeled in the past few years. Clean, comfortable, stylish, and the perfect nights stay. This is a motel...meaning you pull your car right up to the door which is perfect to unload your gear right from trunk to room. Can't say enough great things about this place. Oh and the woman who checked us in was charming, helpful, and nice as can be. If in Estes Park again, we will stay here.

We stayed here during Memorial Day Weekend. Beyond beautiful location!!! This place has been renovated and is very quiet and peaceful. It has views and we loved that you stepped right out the door into nature. Birds and elk were among the many encounters we experienced during our stay here. Staff is very friendly and helpful in trying to accommodate all of our needs.

Comfortable rustic inn with lovely mountain views. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and decorated. The owner/manager welcoming and warm without being intrusive. Exceptionally clean. The bed is very comfortable. It's an area where we wanted to be out and about so didn't need a lot of services. It was perfect for us.

I travel for a living so my top two things for hotels are cleanliness and comfort - I don’t care so much about amenities because I’m not in my room that much. This place did a great job with both! The place is so clean; absolutely spotless and shiny! The mattress wasn’t as comfortable as home, but it wasn’t bad and I understand it’s hard to get perfection for everyone’s desired mattress firmness. I had a choice of 2 pillow firmness and one was perfect. Overall, a VERY restful sleep! Super quiet her as well (we are here in the fall, a slower time). Overall, one of the nicest motels I’ve been in without a doubt.

When I drove up to the hotel, I was like "What is this?" but soon you should not judge the book by it's cover. I rented a room with double queen beds and a balcony. It cost a bit more than a room that didn't have a balcony but it turned out to be we so worth it. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had room 107 down a small hill and around the corner. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. The beds were very comfy. The balcony was so worth it because the view was beautiful. You are able to see snow tipped mountains in the distance. Because we were there in late February, it was very cold to sit outside due to the cold and high winds. The hotel offers a small breakfast in an eclectic designed breakfast area off the small lobby. Overall, our stay at this hotel was exceptional and I would definitelly stay there again. Please go and check it out.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful — cozy, modern, and beautifully designed. I originally chose it because of the mountain view, and I was thrilled when the receptionist, Joceline, kindly helped us switch to a room with that exact view. Her warm and helpful attitude made a big difference — it truly meant a lot. The hotel itself is brand new, with stylish and very comfortable rooms. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, and waking up to that breathtaking view was unforgettable. I can't recommend this place enough — it's simply amazing.

My wife and I really enjoyed the room. This place is not a resort. it is a clean room with a comfortable bed and was quiet. For what we paid per night, this place was perfect. We sent most of our day out exploring the area and pretty much just showered and slept here. I hate overpaying for a good comfortable place to stay when I am enjoying what the area has to offer. We absolutely were comfortable here and did not overpay for what we got. Thank You for delivering on a simple and comfortable and peaceful stay.

It's just a few minutes from the Visitor Center. The room had a desk, small table w 2 chairs, dresser, TV, coffee maker, mini fridge, and microwave. The wall heater made minimal noise, and there were blackout blinds. We had 2 comfortable beds. Everything was very clean, and the bathroom had nice towels, a hair dryer, and an excellent shower. The continental breakfast had juices and hot water for coffee and hot cocoa, cereal and milk, muffins and pop tarts, bread and jelly, yogurt, fruit, and hard boiled eggs. The staff was nice. My father and I enjoyed our stay!

The location was perfect. In walking distance to downtown and short drive to the Rocky Mountain National Park. Dana was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet, well equipped and the bed was comfortable. Parking was close to the room. Breakfast was very basic/light but free, super convenient and covered your needs before hiking. Unfortunately we were too exhausted from our hikes to use the hottub. We would definitely stay here again.

Clean bathrooms, soft & fluffy linens, short walk to restaurants and shopping, super helpful staff. Convenient Costco cold breakfast allows for quick morning energy. How could u ask for more?! Rooms were small, but well appointed. Raised TVs would allow better bed viewing. If you need a view, simply leave the room. Jacuzzi available upon request.

Road trip from Illinois by way of S Dakota, winging it so made reservation on a Wed for same day. Arrived in town early so stopped in to say we were heading to park first, just wanted to see where lodge was located. Dana proceeded to give us the best pointers for RMNP. And we did every one of them. Our room was super clean & comfy, with everything we needed. It was such a relief to be somewhere so safe and comfortable. After a day of hiking, the hottub was perfect!! We walked downtown and enjoyed an incredibly relaxing, quiet and excellent meal at the Rosebud one night, then grabbed a pizza after shopping the other night. It was so nice to have come back from the park to find freshly made bed and refurbished linens & coffe in our room 😍 9 day road trip & The Maxwell was THE BEST stay of all, completed our RMNP experience! We stayed at The Maxwell Inn for four nights last week and absolutely loved everything about our stay. The owners were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always available, which made us feel so welcome. The continental breakfast was just right, with plenty of options—protein choices, cereals, fresh fruit, and even a generous supply of cookies to take back to the room after long days of hiking. Our room was spacious and cozy, equipped with everything we needed: a fireplace, heater, A/C, microwave, mini refrigerator, and upgraded, spotless showers. We loved having plenty of comfortable seating and the option to open the large windows for fresh mountain air. Watching wildlife in the yard was such a treat! We can’t wait to return to The Maxwell Inn—it was the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and hospitality.

We were here for a wedding which was held at the lodge. The service was good and the lodge was well suited for a wedding, rehearsal dinner and reception. Atmosphere is rustic, vintage. Beautiful views of the mountains between the trees. Small deck outside of bar to stand and enjoy the view. You can see The Stanley Hotel from here. The lodge is nicely situated in the side of a mountain above the town of Estes. Rooms have a kitchenette, seating area and separate bedroom. Overall the lodge is well maintained. The pool area has a beautiful view of the park. There is a grassy area here where the ceremony was held. The jacuzzi was functioning well. Dinner only is served here. On one side of the hotel you have mountain and Estes town views, on the other side you’re facing the parking lot and the side of a mountain, to the right some views. Pricing is higher and there are resort fees along with various taxes. Very peaceful here.

We came out to Estes Park for our cousin's wedding and had an amazing stay at the Historic Crags Lodge. The lodge is a beautiful, historic building that has been moderately updated to the modern day without loosing any of it's charm. When we arrived, we were greeted by a staff member at the counter who invited us to walk around the lodge and let us have access to the pool while our room was being prepared. The view from the pool area is gorgeous and perfect for just laying out and enjoying the fresh, mountain air, and the pool was pristine. The room itself was cozy, clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need for a stay. This may seem silly, but it was one of the few hotels I'd stayed in that came with paper towels. There were plenty of windows for air flow and multiple fans provided. Overall our stay was perfect, and I would more than recommend the lodge in the future!

We loved our 9-night stay and didn’t want to leave. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen area was well equipped and all of our suite was spotless. Linens were high quality as was glassware. The hot tub was fantastic and all staff were absolutely delightful. It was the perfect location- close to town, away from traffic and the views were breathtaking. We enjoyed walking to town for dinner, and had a delicious dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DO NOT STAY HERE...unless you are looking for an excellent, semi-secluded, get-away-from-it-all experience, with killer views of Estes Park. Yes, the rooms are small, but they are well-equipped, comfortable, and ideally suited for couples seeking a romantic experience. The staff is knowledgeable, super-friendly, and willing to help you get the most from your visit to Estes Park. There was a wedding the night we stayed there, so we were not able to experience the dining room or the bar. But...with food delivery from the best restaurant in town, plus a quick visit to a nearby liquor store, we were able to create our own experience that well, shall we say, will keep us married for countless more years to come. I really wanted to write a bad review to keep Crags Lodge from becoming crazy popular, but the truth is, it deserves to be super popular. #LiveRemarkably

We stayed in the River Bend Villa. It was BEAUTIFUL, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room with a fireplace, and a private balcony overlooking the river!!! My friend and I joined other travelers at a fire pit next to the river and enjoyed sharing travel stories. That night, I slept with the windows in my bedroom open to the calming sound of the river below. AMAZING PLACE TO STAY!!!

As soon as we walked into the suite, it immediately smelled clean and fresh. It was very well kept and felt very homey/cozy. We had some great conversations with the owner Jay, who was very kind and had some great recommendations. It was overall one of our favorite places we have ever stayed! Perfect location, clean, and amazing staff all around.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Landing! The room and the grounds were super clean. We were located next to the river and there were lovely places to sit and enjoy! The room was very comfortable and had a cozy fireplace. Jay gave us a local map and some great restaurant and entertainment recommendations. We will definitely be back!

The location was perfect for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. The hotel was great. Very comfortable and the chairs on the porch and fire pit was a great addition after a long day. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in 5 different hotels and by far this is the one we wish we had stayed longer in.

The staff was amazing. Checked on us everyday to make sure we had what we needed. The rooms were up to date. The bed was super comfortable, which was a great surprise. If you want peace and to be in nature you need this. But it was also close enough to restaurants, groceries and coffee.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Colorado cottages and we were very satisfied with the service and overall cuteness of the cozy cottage. Everything was so convenient and close to the national park. The staff were very friendly and helpful whenever we had questions or needed anything. Especially the last day when we left, my husband had left his I-watch there and by the time that we realized we had forgotten it, we were halfway home to Texas. So we called the staff and spoke to Aaron who was so helpful and he advised us to call UPS and create a shipping label and he would drop it off for us. My husband and I were very impressed with the way it was handled that Aaron would take the time to go out of his way to do that for us. Even though the watch may not had been a big deal it was of sentimental value to my husband and it was super nice of Aaron from Colorado Cottages and UPS to take the time and hospitality to go out of their way to help us get it back. They made us feel like family. We will definitely be going back to Colorado Rocky Mountains and stay at Colorado Cottages. I recommend this cozy place for anyone who is visiting and wants to feel welcomed and can experience an amazing Colorado vacation like we did.

Very cute cottage. Perfect for what we were looking for. Clean and well maintained. Process to check in was exactly as expected from the welcome email and the cottage had all the essentials we needed. The bathroom is a little tight, especially the shower if you’re tall (we are both over 6’) but it was hard to really care while relaxing on the balcony with such a beautiful view.

I really enjoyed this property! The location was really central for accessing both the Bear lake entrance and the longs peak trailhead. There are four restaurants within the block the cabins are on (all of which had vegetarian options). The space was small and cozy and was enough off the main road that it was quiet at night. All the amenities I needed were provided and the dogs and I had a great trip! The Este visitor center had a good list of dog friendly hikes so we were able to walk around town on the bike path, get 6ish miles in at the YMCA of the Rockies property and hike Crosier Mountain trail all of which were with 15 minutes of the cabins.

Colorado Cottages are the perfect place to getaway for romantic couple or just a Vacation to Estes Park. We stayed in the Chickadee cottage. The cottage was cozy and perfect for the two of us . We hope to return again soon . Mark and Aaron are the perfect host.

The "Deer" suite was a great option for a couple. We stayed for two nights and totally enjoyed the property as an affordable option near town with a very nice view. The property manager was very welcoming, and he does a great job keeping the units, which are older, in good repair. The queen bed was quite comfortable; the love seat was fine; the kitchen appliances worked well, and the kitchen was equipped with more than enough cookware and dinnerware for two. We loved the fireplace and the availability of bottled water, towels, books and DVD movies as needed/wanted using an old school low-tech honor system! Considering its charm and comfort, we didn't mind a few cracked tiles in the shower and the little bit of rust in the tub and sink. It was a clean, comfy, welcoming property with a happy vibe! The pictures were taken sitting in one of the chairs outside the Lakeside building.

This lodge was absolutely charming, tucked right on the lake. And yes—the moose really do wander through the water just like in the photos. It felt magical to watch. The area is peaceful and quiet, with a rustic, cabin-like feel. The property had so many little touches we loved—you can curl up with a book in the hammock, grill right outside your room, or relax on the balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. The bed was comfortable, and everything felt welcoming and cozy.

Everything with the Elk cabin was perfect with one exception. The sofa bed was not comfortable. My boys made it work, but asked to not have sofa beds in our future travels. Great location. Quiet location with beautiful view. Clean accomodations. Plenty of kitchen supplies. Shower was wonderful, however the water pressure was iffy at times. Appreciated the late arrival welcome.

We booked our room for 2 night but we just love the room, the view from the window deer,birds and the beautiful lake and the sound of nature that’s why we extend one more night rooms were very clean , comfy bed ,clean kitchen everything was perfect far better than photos I mistakenly locked the door of bedroom and the problem was solved within some hour great staff we just love everything about the place

The location is great! The staffs are wonderful! The activities are awesome! The food( breakfast, lunch and dinner ) are amazing. We haven’t see so many people in one dinning hall since COVID.

The room was very basic and had the bare minimum, which we knew before we booked it. We hardly stay in the room since we were out enjoying activities in the area, so it was a clean place to sleep. You have a bed, pillows, blanket’s, sink, toilet, shower and soap. The grounds are kept very clean and our room was clean. Our box fan wasn’t working, but it’s ok because I brought my own travel fan. It can be noisy with the windows open, but it was quiet outside by the 11pm quiet time, so it was very peaceful after that. It was great seeing so many Elk at night very close to our room. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. They offer a lot of activities, but we didn’t join any. Great place if you have kids. I would stay again just because it’s very budget friendly compared to a lot of other properties in the area.

We stayed for two nights in a 2-bedroom pet-free basic cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The staff that checked us in were friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was very well equipped with a good selection of cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery and pans, all fairly new. The view was spectacular in all directions, with stunning vistas from the wrap-around porch. The bathroom was very clean and spacious with ample places to hand towels and a beautiful shower. The cabins are spaced far apart from each other so it feels very private. We appreciated being out of the town of Estes Park, but at only 10 min drive away, it was easy to pop in for groceries or restaurants. We were very impressed with the quality, comfort and cleanliness of the accommodations and would definitely stay here again.

The YMCA is a gem! The facilities are a little older, but the lodge rooms are clean and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious! I can’t speak for the inside of the cabins, but I’d love to give those a try with the family. Wonderful for families with so many available activities on site. There are food options onsite so you could stay for a few days and unwind. They have dog friendly rooms as well as a little dog park! The views from the rooms are amazing, too. This is a short drive from the hustle and bustle, but it’s quiet up on the mountain and well worth it. Unfortunately I was there for a very quick trip, but I can’t wait to take the family (and the dog!) back to enjoy all they have to offer!

Stayed in the Wind River Lodge. Clean & quiet. No TV so I brought my computer and it was just fine. Only thing is I wish the coffee machines provided did more than 1 cup at a time via coffee pod. I brought my own coffee and if I hadn’t brought a French press there would’ve been no way for me to make coffee.. especially since they state that guests should bring their own coffee.

Many Buildings!!! Go for Room with Breakfast options. They have many rooms like economy standard luxury etc which Expedia did not call out. this is our first time Visit to National park in June and we were looking for one night stay in estes park and very very few options were there , almost every hotel is min 2/3 night stay minimum. This one offers one night stay which costed us 230+ bucks for double room which has two queen beds and refrigerator. Got balcony but we got basement/ ground floor rooms. Pros: Location, Breakfast , Playground , 10 mins to Beaver meadows entrance. Cons:No A/C No ceiling fan ,suffocating in the room . So check with hotel to select right room of your choice. Economy rooms have queen bed and two bunk beds to accomodate more people but its suffocating little bit. Breakfast buffet is the BEST, we got it included with standard room but you can pay and eat as well , its 10$ per person.

We had originally booked the room with a hot tub and unfortunately due to storms those rooms had gotten damaged. They were very apologetic and upgraded us to a larger condo with a jacuzzi bathtub. The rooms were beautiful and had amazing views. I definitely plan on staying here multiple times in the future.

We were there 4 days for a nieces wedding. We had so much fun exploring the area. The wedding was beautiful. Everyone who worked at the event were friendly, helpful and very attentive to everyone’s needs. The food was excellent and venue perfect for a wedding. Our condo was soooooo comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and enjoyed fixing full breakfasts each day. You’re so conveniently close to shopping and restaurants. We went to Safeway the first day we were there. They have everything one can need. We loved the River Walk and visiting the Stanley Hotel. We will come again but not in summer, to stay again💕We even found a lovely church to attend. And they were so friendly and recommended places to see.

We so enjoyed our stay! The room was nicely decorated, the kitchen well stocked and having 2 bathrooms was a nice extra. The bed was clean and super comfortable and having 2 fireplaces made the suite very cozy and inviting. We also enjoyed having the hot tub right outside the door and the views were amazing. We weren't sure what to expect since some reviews are not favorable. However, we were very happy with our accommodations. We stayed in one of the three dog friendly rooms in the lodge. It was very clean and comfortable. They even provided a dog bed! The lobby and wedding hall are beautiful. The employees were very friendly and helpful. There was ice water and hot water in the lobby, as well as a clean microwave and ice machine in the hallway. Our room had an inside entrance and a door to the outside at ground level. Gorgeous views of the mountains and golden aspens. We walked the trails above the lodge and near the 2013 landslide. We just really enjoyed our stay! The history of the land and property is amazing, too! We would be happy with the Dao House whether it remains in its current condition or becomes a 5 star resort. It's just a special place, and I feel like most of the critics would be better off staying in Vail or Telluride. The Estes Park area does have some 5 star locations, but most places maintain the rustic and cozy atmosphere for which the RMNP area has always been known.

Loved our stay. We weren't sure what to expect with the Dao beliefs but it was basically a normal lodge and much cheaper than other options. The views of the surrendering mountains were incredible with a pond on site too. The staff were kind and really flexible with our check out time. We picked this location so my husband could hike Long's Peak and it was as close as we could stay to the trail head. My daughter and I explored the vast property and trails all day and they let us check out late. Our room was large and clean and quiet with a nice bathroom. There is no AC but it gets cold at night and the wifi was very helpful since I had no cell signal. I only gave 4 stars because you can tell that parts of the property have really gone downhill. There is an rotting boat dock and unusable pool and hot tub and stables that would be lovely if repaired. My daughter enjoyed the slide and swings and horse shoes. The fire rings looked nice. A quick drive to town too yet very peaceful and quiet and beautiful here!

Like the area. Very beautiful mountain view, quiet. It is a good deal for the money you pay compared with other properties around the areas. Staffs are friendly and even offer snacks, water, fruits, coffee and tea at the lobby. Close to Long peak , twin sister, Lilly Lake trail. Cons: no cell service. Need to log in wifi every 1 hr. No room service. Will stay here again next time since i like the quietness, amazing mountian view!

Upon entering the lobby it was clear this was a wonderful place. Morgan was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and our room was extremely comfortable. The wifi was more that adequate for our needs and having access to a refrigerator down the hall was convenient. We will be staying here next time we are in the Rocky Mountain National Park.

If you like peace and quiet in the mountains I highly recommend this place. Very clean, comfy beds, and staff is very nice and helpful! Slept with the windows open (no ac) and enjoyed the fresh nightly breeze.

Our stay at The Trailborn was fabulous, upon arrival our kiddos were greeted with bingo cards they were encouraged to fill during our stay for a prize. We also arrived during the complimentary s’mores time frame (5-9pm) which was amazing after being on the road all day! We entered into an extremely clean room, with a tent (we booked this in advanced) and elk stuffies for our kiddos to stay & play in during our stay. Beds were comfortable and the Grown Alchemist shower products were relaxing and perfect scents. We love that the room includes use of the cooler (really clean!) so we packed breakfast (overnight oats and parfaits from Casa Colina) got ice from the lobby and went on our way to enjoy RMNP! The fact that coolers and ice are so easily accessible makes planning for a day out so much easier! We loved Jason from Casa Colina, he was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and super awesome all around with drinks and food recommendations. Everything was delicious, the guac is legit and the chicken tingas tacos were incredible, don’t sleep on that! My husband ordered almost each type of taco during our stay and the bowls and liked all of them, especially the mushroom taco. Kiddos menu is perfect for us, pb&js is so our level right now. We loved our stay and look forward to returning here/checking out the new Trailborn locations opening! TL/DR: Highly recommend, super clean, fabulous kind staff, awesome extras!

Boutique hotel located at the entrance to downtown Estes Park. The river walk is literally a couple blocks away (a walking path through downtown that runs alongside the St Vrain river, just behind many of the best local shops and restaurants). Trailborn Rocky Mountains has an accommodating, knowledgeable staff… offers delicious food options at their restaurant, has a heated pool (so nice!) and in the evenings: complimentary DIY s’mores! A nice touch. We ate both dinner and breakfast onsite at their restaurant. Both meals were fantastic! During breakfast, a herd of Elk passed through as we were dining. The calves came extremely close. It was pretty magical. There are extras available when you verify your booking. Be sure to check them out! I came up for Father’s Day with two kiddos and chose the indoor camping extra on a whim for my 10yr old daughter. The staff set up a small play tent in the room for her which came with an adorable stuffie (hers happened to be an Elk!) from a local shop. Very cool add-on! Don’t skip the extras menu, there are some fun features. My daughter asked if she can have her next bday as a slumber party at Trailborn… why not?

An excellent boutique hotel with a small swimming pool (accessible) in a slightly elevated position overlooking Estes Park and close to town and the riverside walk. Within minutes of our arrival we'd spotted chipmunks, ground squirrels, hummingbirds and butterflies. On our final night, whilst toasting marshmallows, a small herd of elk walked through the garden. I would highly recommend this hotel as a small (with that personal touch), quiet choice of accommodation in Estes Park. Rooms are fairly plain but functional and clean. Beds were comfortable and tea/coffee making facilities were fine. Although the bar/dining area is accessible to wheelchairs, I could not see a way to get up the 4-6 steps to that level. Casa Colina restaurant is not that exciting. OK for a quick snack, but one wouldn't go there just for the food! The bar was excellent, with knowledgeable staff who took real pleasure and care in recommending/creating cocktails. Happy hour was great. Air Conditioning. The units are over the bed head with an annoying soft blue light that flickers all night. We were not able to alter the temperature. Special thanks to the bar staff which made our stay so memorable - especially Connor.

I stayed at Trailborn Rocky Mountains during a recent business trip and was thoroughly impressed. The room was impeccably clean, and the modern, thoughtful design made it feel more like a boutique retreat than a typical hotel stay. One of the highlights for me was the elevated in-room coffee—such a great way to start the day—and the bath amenities were top-notch, adding a touch of luxury to the experience. Breakfast did not disappoint either; the breakfast burrito was excellent and set the tone for a productive day. After wrapping up work in the evening, I had the chance to unwind with a well-crafted cocktail by the backyard fire pit. It was the perfect end to a long day, offering a cozy, relaxed vibe that made me wish I were staying longer.

Really enjoyed my stay with my partner at this Hotel. Entire front desk team including Amanda and Shelley were so thoughtful and friendly. They were just opening their restaurant and their breakfast burritos and coffee were just what we needed after the hikes they recommended in the Rockies. The fireside S'mores were the perfect cap to our evening before we went back to our rooms. Everything felt super clean, and thoughtful, really liked the Alchemist Shampoo and even their branded coffee in room from Huckleberry Roasters in Denver.

Clean and 2 comfortable large double bed. Bathroom is ensuite and clean with toiletries. On edge of town and restaurants, shops. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is fantastic. We were able to see the mountain peaks from the room and the golden peaks at the sunrise were amazing. The hotel has a large viewing balcony where you can comfortably seat on couches and chairs near heaters and enjoy the great view. Rooms wear clean and are getting renovated. Better decor and furniture will be added benefit when the hotel gets remodeled. The staff was friendly and helpful. We appreciate the hospitality and cooperation by Tripp, Javeia, Tony and Tim. We would like to say good words for the staff arranging breakfast. Breakfast spread was quite good. The homemade bread and the soup were delicious. Overall, we recommend this hotel for all.

Very clean room, affordable price, friendly staff, perfectly located with beautiful views of the mountain all around the property, balcony, Heated indoor pool, and proximity to the highway, it is the best place for the money I have stayed at. Sam at front desk was especially extremely helpful. I was new to Rocky Mountain and Estes. She provided best help every time I reached out to her. We need more good people on planet earth like her. The grand free breakfast was even a bigger surprise. Breakfast room is huge and stocked with fresh healthy breakfast which you don't get in Hyatt's. The breakfast variety baffled me. I stayed in mid October and I will be definitely back again next year.

Being a guest at Expedition Lodge Estes Park was an excellent experience! The staff, including, but not limited to Tim, Javeia, Tripp, Austin, and Shepard, were wonderful! Everyone was kind, professional, accommodating, and obviously enjoy their work. The view is amazing and the property is conveniently located near the Rocky Mountain National Park and Estes Park downtown. Breakfast is included each morning, and complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cold bottled water are available 24/7. The management added thoughtful touches in the lobby bathrooms, including, but not limited to, deodorant, suntan lotion, toothbrushes, and other personal hygiene products. The balcony with the LP gas fire pit is large, comfortable, and the view is spectacular! My husband and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Expedition Lodge Estes Park again!

Though an older property, it is being upgraded, and for a family or active older couple, ticks all the boxes - comfy beds/pillows, good AC, quiet, plenty of entrances to get you close to your room, a lovely large deck overlooking the lake/mountains, parking, WIFI, and a truly authentic "Colorado Mountain" breakfast. The Elk Jerky Green Chili is fabulous, and there are so many options - yogurt, cereals, oatmeal with toppings, breads, Naan, Pita, hard boiled eggs, fruit, salsas......people complaining about "traditional" breakfast should just stay home or check out the local McDonalds. There are washers and dryers, an arcade room, a computer with functioning printer, and lots of board games. The lobby has a round fireplace, and the deck has a fire pit and tables to eat breakfast at, should you wish. Yes, there is some dirt/pine needles near the doors....it is the mountains, and people are out hiking, etc. This is a resort area, so expect higher prices during summer/fall at ALL properties. Staff was super helpful. They will clean your room IF requested. Across the street is a pizza place and liquor store - the other direction is an ACE Hardware. Safeway and gas is also close by and probably a drive of 5 minutes gets you to the heart of Estes Park.
