Great central location with walks, restaurants and train station nearby. We loved the breakfast options every morning especially the eggs, cheese and range of breads. Our accommodation was exceptionally clean and we loved the quiet terrace.

I really enjoyed my stay at Naturion. The room was very clean and nicely decorated with beautiful views of the mountains. The location is great with some excellent walking routes just minutes away. The breakfast was excellent and the host very welcoming and helpful.

Breakfast was good, but dinner was fantastic. All rooms have some type of balcony/terrace.

Cosy room, we had a small living room area separately which was nice. Staff was friendly. We enjoyed the use of the sauna, which was relaxing. Breakfast area was very nice to sit in.

Quiet location, close to all amenities and walks, clean, private parking, rooms spacious enough and pleasant decor, comfortable bed and good cushions.

It’s beautiful, stylish, clean and well cared for. The stuff is lovely and professional, always willing to help and looking that you are satisfied. Location is perfect. The Spa area is lovely, beautiful, calming and relaxing. Had everything we wanted. It’s not huge but it’s the perfect size to our opinion. They have about 4-5 saunas, 1 pool, jacuzzi inside and outside, treatments area and 3 different gorgeous quiet areas with beds and laying chairs to chill/read/nap/watch a movie. The food flavor, quality and versatility was good and satisfying. The place looks exactly like in the pictures they presented and even better! That’s a very important point for me. Plenty of parking and even with electric vehicles charger right in front. We absolutely loved our stay, will definitely recommend it and most definitely come back again in the future. Was a wonderful couple gateway for us.

We felt super comfortable during our stay at Adler. Very polite and warm staff and so attentive to details, amazing (again...amazing) food, very comfortable and clean rooms, cozy lobby, well-thought concept of wellness, small & quiet town and great location to move around for hiking/biking etc.

Herrihof has nice views over the Todtnau valley and surrounding mountains. You can dine in either a nicely decorated historical setting or an addition with extensive views. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent as was the breakfast. The room we were in was well equipped with comfortable beds. Notable was also the very pleasant staff, at the reception, waiters in the restaurant, up to the cook.

The hotel overall was great. Very clean. Room was quite big. Beds very comfortable, including baby's bed (1yr and half). The crew was very customer services oriented. Environment really family friendly and quiete. Breakfast was really good and the dinner was fantastic! Prices for dinner are razonable in comparison with the market. You can chose in between what the have for the day or A la carte. For real I would recommend it to my family and friends. And for sure, We will be back!

We stayed in one of the chalet cabins and really enjoyed our stay, the cabin was comfortable and quiet. The view from the patio and balcony was amazing and it was large enough that everyone was able to have their own room. A definite bonus! Plus the main building offered a very nice breakfast and access to after hours drinks if that's your thing. The staff was also super accomodating!

We just spent three unforgettable nights at Rotmeer Haus, and it was simply perfect – beyond all expectations. First and foremost, a huge thanks to Rami, the incredible host – such a warm, generous, and thoughtful person. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated, and offered breathtaking views of green mountains and cows grazing in the meadow – like something out of a postcard. Breakfast, prepared by Rami himself, was truly outstanding – like something you’d expect in a gourmet restaurant: everything fresh, beautifully presented, served in elegant dishes, and made with so much love and care. But above all – it was Rami’s hospitality that made this experience so exceptional. He gave us great advice on places to visit, made restaurants reservations for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. Everything was amazing! Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens found the Silver Fir suite to be perfect. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were immaculate, and the bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. Our hosts were amazing - they provided excellent advice on things to do, made dinner reservations for us, and were extremely welcoming and gracious. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly prepared. We also appreciated that they spoke English. The setting and location were ideal. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, but not far from many activities. We would recommend the RotmeerHaus to any traveler and look forward to going back to stay there and explore more of the beautiful Black Forest!

This facility is an unusual 500-year-old farmhouse. Beautifully renovated with the most up to date amenities and modern designs. Each room was different and a wonderful creation. All integrated in the original building of hundreds of years. A quite hillside location with a great view and only 3 guest rooms... this is a truly boutique experience. The house is run by Rami and Michael. Very friendly, helpful and interesting guys. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with a great selection of breads, vegetables, fruits meats and eggs, all of utmost quality and in a beautiful setting. The room was large and very well appointed. WONDERFUL !!!

Everything. What a wonderful place to stay. The host was so kind and accommodating. Our room was very light and spacious. Extremely comfortable bed with soften linens. The shower was excellent. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. It is situated up a hill with great views and a nice seating area outside. We were very happy here.

We booked hotel last minute as it had good rating. That absolutely correct..everything was excellent, clean and modernized rooms. Breakfast was excellent..somehow eggs were tastier than any other hotels. We even got some coupons to get discounts on local attractions. All staff were very helpful and welcoming. Hotel location itself is not scenic but most attractions around the area are drivable 10-30min drive.. Expecially families of 4 rooms are spacious

Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Lots of common areas in the hotel to sit and relax. It has a nice lodge feel but is clean and modern as well. Rothaus Brewery is an easy walk.

Drinks and coffee available 24/7 with cozy corners to rest in all floors. Nice breakfast with true nuts and different rooms to enjoy it.

Everything. The hotel was beautifully positioned on the edge of the forest walk to the Schlüchtsee. The room with the balcony was fabulous, staff were great, breakfast was lovely. The present of homemade jam when we were leaving was a lovely touch. The honour system for taking cold Rothaus beers as and when one wanted them was a delight.

We got more than we expected from this place. We stayed in the studio with our bernese mountain dog. They prepared the room with bowls for the dog and even a little mat. It was a nice touch. The studio has a balcony with a table. You can enjoy your breakfast in the morning sun, which is very pleasant. Our dog likes to enjoy the outside, so we put him in a long leash so he could come in and out of the room. The room is spacious, the bed comfy and the wifi works great. The room decoration uses natural materials and the soaps and shampoos are all natural. The kitchen has cutlery, knifes, pans, plates, mugs, glasses. The oven and the stove worked perfectly. Having a dish washer was very practical. They even provided the dish washer tablets for free. We used the washing machine in the basement. It was easy but you need coins. They also provide the washing powder for free. The sauna was the highlight. We enjoyed it multiple times. It has a great view. You can get extra towels for the sauna in the laundry area. You can self check-in in this hotel. Next to the check-in area, there is a little room with last minute things that you can buy (chips, beer, pasta, pasta sauce). A real life saver. If you want to hike in the black forest or/and stay in a quiet and comfy room, this is the place.

Incredible view, and it was truly a highlight of the trip. The spacious room had large windows that overlooked stunning landscapes, making it the perfect spot to unwind. The amenities were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor terrace, which offered a panoramic vista that was perfect for sunrise and sunset. Overall, it was a memorable experience, and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to enjoy a beautiful setting.

Very comfortable, clean and spacious apartment with amazing views and close to many attractions

Well maintained modern property. Digital check-in process was not complicated. Modern apartment with clean rooms. Kitchen had basic cookware which we found to be more than enough for our stay. Couple of hiking trials start from the apartment. Enjoyed walking down to Waterfall and walking up to Kapelle. Sauna was great, too.

We are a family of 4 - we were relaxed entering the hotel and there was a feeling of calm, peace and tranquility, the hotel is located on a mountain and everything around is green and pastoral. We stayed in a kind of apartment with a kitchen, living room, balcony and 2 bedrooms. The apartment is clean, very spacious and comfortable, there was plenty of space for all the luggage (4 large suitcases, 3 trolleys and backpacks). The apartment is equipped with everything you need, including a full refrigerator and every morning we received fresh and warm rolls for breakfast. Beyond that, the manager of the place, Reinhard, was very nice and took care of everything we needed during our stay (towels and replenishing things in the refrigerator). We also received a red card from the hotel for the Black Forest that gave us lots of discounts and free entrances to all kinds of attractions during our stay. In conclusion, We were very satisfied, enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the place.

Great location, spacious and clean apartment with a very quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly, which we much appreciated. We made use of the laundry room, which was free of charge. Each morning, fresh bread roles were delivered to our room , and along with complementary milk, cheese, cold meats, and granola, it made for a nice, easy breakfast. We had a lovely time, and we highly recommend it!

Everything! Spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, balcony, friendly staff (excellent English if your German is lacking). Good restaurants a short distance away. We've been before and we'll come back again! We stayed for five nights.

The rooms are spacious, very well equipped and modern. We had everything we needed and the staff was very helpful and nice. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beautiful view of the forrest. Lot of nice places to eat, stores and tourist attractions are easy to reach by car (we didn't use public transportation).

The manger and his dog couldn’t make you feel more welcome. He honestly makes the place perfect for every guest. Went above and beyond for me and my family we turned our two night stay into a four night stay. Modern archiecture at its finest, beautiful views of the Forrest. Perfect for families.

A very quiet hotel, full of charm, right in the centre of Todtnau, with easy bus links to lovely hikes that are well marked. Very clean and comfortable, with a lovely breakfast each morning. The staff are helpful and very responsive. Tourist office is very helpful. Todtnau is a very charming town with lots of dining options, but definitely check out the Bella Italia restaurant in this hotel.

If you like to stay with friends, then you have found your place. The hosts are beyond welcoming, warm and friendly and immediately you feel like you are visiting friends. The rooms are large, the breakfast is lovely and if you order a boiled egg, it comes with a eierschalensollbruchstellenverursacher (just that is worth a stay on its own) It is not super easy to get to the hotel on the windy roads so it a bonus to not have to drive to a restaurant in the evening but instead enjoy a delicious and genuin prepared dinner on the lovely veranda. Lovely Black Forest hotel which seemed to be made entirely of wood. Great scenic location. Very friendly hosts. Absolutely fantastic evening meal - up there with the best restaurants. Good breakfast as well. Large, clean comfortable room. We really liked this place.

it is cosy, comfortable and makes you feel like at home. Spacey room and bathroom. Very good dinner and breakfast. The owners were realy kind and helpful.

Hosts were friendly, spoke good English, and made us feel very welcome. We had a lovely room with a balcony and a nice view. Parking is easy, just in front of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a great buffet selection and a huge array of apple juices from a local supplier. In addition, eggs were cooked to order, scrambled, fried etc. A reasonably priced 4 course evening meal was available which we took every day. The wife is a very good and imaginative cook, and the quality of the food was excellent. 2nd helpings were offered most of the time. The hotel is just outside Todtmoos, the centre of which is reached in a few minutes by car. The owner will advise re walks in the area.
