Junior Suite was spacious, Jacuzzi bath was very welcome. Facilities were good, Food in the resturant was excellent.

Lodge with jacuzzi and sauna was excellent 👌 we stayed 2 night for a wedding. Staff were excellent attention to detail was spot on . Nothing was a problem, they made the special day even more special . The location was amazing with the stables right next to you. Grounds and areas are spotless. I had a fantastic experience at Ingliston Country Club Hotel. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by the front desk staff. The check-in process was quick and seamless, and I was given all the information I needed for a comfortable stay. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. I was also impressed with the bathroom, which had high-quality amenities and a luxurious shower. The housekeeping staff did a great job keeping the room clean to a high standard.   The on-site restaurant offered delicious meals with great service. What truly set this hotel apart was the friendly and attentive staff. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect, and I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. I would highly RECOMMEND Ingliston Country Club Hotel to anyone visiting the area and would certainly return in the future. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

First time visit to Ingliston country club &hotel Booked an overnight dinner bb at the hotel for my wife’s birthday We were checked in by a very nice young lady into a double room overlooking the horse paddock ,the room was similar in standard to a premier inn style nice complimentary biscuits water tea and coffee etc. We had our meal booked for 7pm in the Palominos restaurant As we were on a deal we had a fixed menu which was fine, however We elected to go a La carte and used the fixed menu allowance to supplement this we both had prawn cocktails followed by sirloin steaks Both dishes were lovely and cooked perfectly nice peppercorn sauce and onion rings. Palominos is a lovely venue and all staff we interacted with were lovely And made our stay all the more pleasant.Drink prices are a quite high but you can expect that a country club. Nice quiet nights sleep after our meal room was very comfortable. Check out was easy and quick with another lovely receptionist. I can’t comment on the breakfast as both of us were still full from the night before so we didint feel like eating. I would recommend Ingliston for the food and surroundings,lovely views Not the cheapest of venues but the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff make the extra expense worth it.

Room is very spacious and nice decor. Jacuzzi bath was also a nice extra. All amenities available were good. Ceiling LED lights added a nice vibe on the night time. Can’t complain about the room at all, pretty much faultless.

Lovely modern studio flat in the up and coming part of the south side. Very clean and comfortable. The headboard/wall feature was very nice. The bath has a jacuzzi setting and the shower was great! Large wall-mounted Smart TV with netflix and prime, etc. Generally just a lovely space to have to yourself for a few days or to share with your partner. There are also plenty of lovely cafe's, restaurants and bars just a 10 minute walk from the flat, as well as some lovely wee shops. It is also within walking distance of a couple of subway stations and Merchant City.

Great place , we had a fantastic time and had no issues . We came for a rushed quick visit for my sister in hospital and staying here helped when its so comfortable and hassle free. Very helpful friendly owner and sorted out a problem we had straight away , easy to communicate with. Lovely staff , very happy and helpful. Kitchen is great and it has got everything you need with nice extra touches . I loved the window seat , nice view of the garden . I love you how you can fully open the window to sit and watch the world go by. Great local shops with one of the best take aways I have ever had ! And if you go right instead of left when you leave the property ,you reach the local park , which is huge and has wildlife and ponds, gorgeous area and safe. I found it to be very comfortable stay with everything I needed. Sorry late review , bereavement in the family, thank you for your kindness when we stayed .

Great location for lots of convenience to local areas, the city centre, and nice parks and cafe spots nearby. Attractive area with ample access by foot or transport. Friendly welcome on arrival with smiley staff who were fast and efficient at check in with good communcation online too [my train had been delayed]. Room was great! Spacious, with tidy kitchenette and table, nice fireplace feature, and large, comfy double bed. Ambient lighting. Shower room was very clean, well equipped, and a nice size. WiFi good. And felt secure with coded access through main doors and into the room. Irn-Bru and water in the fridge is a lovely touch! Thanks again - would recommend!

Perfect stay in a lovely modern studio apartment. Very comfortable bed! Apartment had a lovely touch with colour change ambient lighting all around. Owners have spent time kitting the apartment out in details. Perfect location with lots of local restaurants, takeouts and bars and very safe neighbourhood. Option of cooking inside with a full kitchen also provided with cutlery, pots and pans if needed. Easy to get to and to get around with public transportation nearby. Easy access instructions were also provided by staff who were also available at all times! Highly recommend if visiting Glasgow!

The parkland suite was beautiful. The spa facilities were brilliant and the jacuzzi in our room was amazing. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant whilst there was a live singer playing. The room felt like an apartment with all you can possibly need. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the room was. The en-suite bathroom was huge and well laid out with separate shower compartment (large) and bath (large). The spa and pool were very well maintained and clean. There were no loose or missing tiles in the pool or jacuzzi and the hot tub/jacuzzi was so large you could mistake it for a swimming pool. I will definitely go back.

Beautiful and comfortable. Staff were nice. You could get breakfast eggs cooked to your liking. The fruit bowls during breakfast were lovely. The suite we stayed at was spotless, with a beautiful view. The room was big, with plenty of comforts. The jacuzzi and walk-in shower were gorgeous. Such a comfortable sleep. Didn't hear any other guests.

Jennifer is the best in the business! This venue is amazing, we had our full day there. I got ready in the morning with my bridesmaids in the boardroom, this room is gorgeous and every MUA's dream with all the natural light. We used all 3 of the function rooms and all of our guests are still talking about how gorgeous the venue was. Everything ran on time and so smoothly that there really is nothing negative to say at all. The coordinators and staff are amazing from start to finish, we will absolutely be back for some overnights and to get the use of the massive jacuzzi tub in the Parklands Suite - there just wasn't any time with how tired we were the following morning lol!

The hotel is set in beautiful, quiet grounds. We stayed and ate in the new hotel building, not the actual castle part. Everything was very new and clean and our room was spacious and had a balcony which is a nice touch. Bed was large and very comfortable. Bathroom was also spacious and had a separate shower and large bath, all toiletries are provided except toothpaste. Well-stocked mini-bar. There is a lovely sating area at a fountain just outside the main castle where you can have drinks. Service was pretty slow out there though and my husband had to go inside to order. Then we waited quite a ehile for the drinks to come out. Not sure if staff forget you are there. We had lunch and dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious! Lunch was in an atrium-style restaurant called Foveran's. It was relaxed and pleasant and staff were very nice. Dinner was in Trocadero's with live music which was great. Breakfast was in Foveran's and the food was average. Overall our stay was lovely but there were a few minor things that could have made it better.

We stayed for a weekend and had a lovely time. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially as we had our baby grand-daughter with us, The staff took great care of us and helped with high-chairs and getting a quiet corner in the restaurant when we asked. We had a deluxe room which was great and well fitted out - there was no air con and it was quite warm at night, but we had a balcony so able to open the door. We had a nice meal on Saturday evening, but the best food was at breakfast. The breakfast room was in itself lovely and self service for juice, coffee and yoghurt bar. Then fruit baskets and toast / pastry baskets were brought to the table, plus then hot food was ordered. I can recommend the smoked haddock omelette. Thanks to all the staff that helped us and our 8 month old grand-daughter had a great time!

The castle is lovely as you drive down the access road and it comes into view. The car park is large and spacious. The staff are friendly and welcoming, we were shown to the bar and offered drinks while we waited for our room. Our room was large and comfortable. Dinner that evening was amazing, the food is of a very high standard. We had breakfast in our room and again that was lovely. We only stayed the one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary but we will definitely be coming back. Overall a fantastic experience.

Location of the property is a bit remote from the city, but I actually I enjoyed that. It was in the country and very relaxing, but the room and staff were amazing. The restaurant was great but what really made the place was the staff so very kind and helpful and great multitasking . When we ate in the restaurants, they remembered our room number and our name as well as our preferences for meals, they were in the process of building a spa so there’s not a lot to do there at the moment, but it’s just nice to disconnect and enjoy the serenity of the property. There is a museum of real life nearby within 10-15 minutes, which is great for Family very peaceful and the room touches were amazing. They left you a bowl of fruit chocolates and a nice selection in the mini bar and coffee and tea selections. Was on the road for some time traveling so it was very restorative too stay at the facility for a few days if in the area would definitely visit again and actually a great value for what you’re getting. Also, they had formal tea in the castle, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Say right by a river which was nice, the onsite restaurant was great and convenient, we stayed in the Lindsay tower room in the castle and that was pretty amazing. The room layout and space exceeded our expectations, loved it. While we were there, it was very quiet and relaxing without many other guests so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We are vegan eaters and the restaurant accommodated our needs and made some absolutely wonderful dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed. The quality of the food and care of preparation showed that this restaurant strives to be best in class.

The bed was comfy, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room and other spaces were kept clean. There is also a spa you can book on the roof with a gym, sauna, hot tub and cold shower perfect for relaxing after a long trip. The location is in the city centre close to main attractions, and easily reachable transport (metro, bus station)

Coming from someone who’s stayed in many a ho(s)tels: Revolver truly is next level. Perfect location, lovely building, clean, cosy, actual decent showers… but what topped it all off was the staff. Friendly, helpful, I felt looked after as a solo traveller.

very beautiful building, very central location yet surprisingly quiet. comfortable beds, extremely clean bathrooms, helpful staff with a very reasonably priced caff by reception. it was my first time staying here after - i always used to stay at the euro hostel before it's untimely demise - and i think this is my new spot to go to in glasgow. not to mention extremely affordable!

From the moment we arrived, the experience at Dakota Glasgow was exceptional. Andy greeted us at check-in, with a warm smile and made us feel instantly welcome even though we arrived very late at night – such a lovely start to our stay. A special shoutout to Adam and Ally in Jack’s Bar – both were fantastic, and Adam’s cocktails were absolute 5-star quality! Their friendly service made our evenings feel extra special. Breakfast was another highlight – Chris was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was amazing. The eggs Benedict were cooked to perfection! Chef is amazing. Although the weather turned a bit wet on our second night, Lyndsay and James went above and beyond, providing us with a large umbrella and recommending some great local nearby bars. Our room was always spotless thanks to the outstanding housekeeping team – we never even heard them, yet everything was immaculate each day. Finally, a big thanks to Michael and Kathe at reception who helped us arrange a taxi to Glasgow Airport with no fuss at all. Their efficiency and kindness rounded off our stay perfectly. Every single staff member we interacted with was genuinely friendly and helpful. The management should be incredibly proud of the team they have here. We’ll definitely be back – highly recommended!

Very nice hotel with bar and restaurant close to the city center. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Well appointed rooms. We opted for the Classic room. While comfortable, it was a bit on the smallish side. Not really a problem as we didn’t spend much time there. Would recommend upgrading if you plan to spend time in the room and if in budget. The breakfast was good with several options. My wife has a number of food allergies and was well taken care of with numerous food options. The wait staff were excellent with respect to food allergy awareness. We ate one night at the Dakota Grill. Atmosphere was nice and the food was very good. I had the ribeye and my wife had the filet. The temperature on both was spot on. The sides will feed two. Wait staff were prompt and efficient despite appearing slightly understaffed (an issue we observed throughout our trip around Scotland). The bar was relatively quiet and comfortable with a decent selection. Prices were comparable to other places we visited. Proximity to the city center was a real bonus. Would definitely stay at the Dakota in Glasgow again.

I had an amazing stay at Dakota Glasgow from start to finish. The staff were extremely professional, friendly, and always happy to help. The whole hotel has a lovely atmosphere and my room was absolutely beautiful — a real treat. They also went the extra mile by leaving a card and some chocolates in the room for my friend’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful gesture and really made our stay feel special. The only small downside for me was the upgraded breakfast roll. The brioche-style roll was very sweet for a breakfast item, and the streaky bacon felt more suited to a burger than a traditional breakfast — I would have much preferred back bacon. I also expected haggis to be included in the Scottish breakfast. It was still enjoyable overall, just not quite to my personal taste. Despite that, the experience was fantastic and I would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Having previously stayed at Dakota Manchester and Leeds, my expectations were very high and Dakota Glasgow didn’t disappoint. The hotel is perfectly located, just a 10-minute walk up hill from Glasgow Central Station. The staff were professional, polite, and genuinely welcoming. The entire hotel, including my room, was spotless and clearly very well maintained. The bed deserves a special mention, undoubtedly one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. My Executive room was on the 4th floor opposite the lift, so I expected some noise, but it was impressively quiet throughout my stay. Spacious, well designed room with all the amenities you’d need including hot drink facilities and a complimentary stocked mini bar / fridge with waters, sodas, beers and light snacks. Would I stay again? Absolutely—100%. I’d highly recommend Dakota Glasgow and look forward to returning. Thanks to the whole team for an excellent stay.

Friendly helpful reception staff, spacious stylish room with small couch. The bed was really comfortable and we slept well. I would stay in a Dakota hotel again. Location was walkable to the shopping area and restaurants etc. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming

We were very warmly greeted on arrival. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The Spa was truly amazing with different steam jacuzzi and snow rooms as well as the full length pool and overhead water jets.

We were generously upgraded to the penthouse, and it was beyond incredible. The space was pure luxury, featuring a private outdoor terrace, a jacuzzi, a huge and beautifully designed living area, and even a fully equipped kitchenette. Every corner felt thoughtfully curated, from the elegant décor to the spacious layout. It truly made our stay unforgettable.

Absolute perfect hotel for a 2 night break in Glasgow. It was 5 minutes down the hill to the city centre so no need for taxis. The breakfast was lovely, staff were attentive and the jacuzzi bath looking into the bedroom was fab! Residents can use the spa early in the morning and between 5-8pm at night. It was good just putting on the dressing robe in the bedroom and heading to the spa without taking changing bags. Spa area was lovely and warm. Only minor negative was that a couple of the experience rooms in the spa area were out of order. All in all definitely a 5 star stay.

The spa facilities were super - sauna, pool with water jets for the shoulders, jacuzzi style pool, dark pool rooms, dark tepid room, salt room, snow room.... The treatment, which was provided by Kimberley, was outstanding. As was the two course lunch - sea trout starter and hake main. Oddly, there were areas of this beautiful hotel that required to be cleaned more thoroughly, including the toilets and changing area.

I stayed at the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel and was genuinely impressed. The location is ideal — central yet peaceful, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and Glasgow’s cultural spots. The building itself is stunning, with elegant Georgian architecture and a modern interior that feels both luxurious and welcoming. My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom had a spa-like feel. Speaking of spas — the hotel’s spa is a real highlight. The thermal experience, pool, and relaxation areas are perfect after a day exploring the city. It’s one of the best urban retreats I’ve come across. Dining at iasg, the seafood restaurant, was a treat. Fresh, sustainable ingredients, great service, and a lively atmosphere made for a memorable evening. The complimentary wine hour in the lounge was a lovely surprise and added to the relaxed, friendly vibe. Staff were consistently warm, professional, and helpful. Whether it was arranging taxis, offering local tips, or just a friendly chat, they made the experience feel personal. Overall, Kimpton Blythswood Square combines five-star luxury with genuine Scottish hospitality. Highly recommended for couples, solo travelers, or anyone looking to treat themselves in Glasgow.

Stayed here few weeks back absolutely beautiful hotel, got given a free room upgrade as the hotel wasn’t as busy on the day I went room was lovely. Got upgraded to the suite which had a jacuzzi bath a separate meeting room within. Overall amazing experience. Breakfast was really good too.

I booked this hotel through hotels.com and we absolutely loved it!!! Great location, the place is just stunning the service was amaIng everyone is so polite and so friendly, one of the reasons we picked this hotel was because it included breakfast in the price of the room, and to be honest, I have been to many hotels around the world and this one was the best, might not be the biggest but the breakfast was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I honestly thought we were just going to get a basic buffet, but no, the buffet was amazing and then on top of that you can order a la carte😀 we were 3, so my husband ordered a full scottish breakfast, I ordered eggs royale, and my son pankakes with bacon and syrup, all included in the price!!🤯, they bring coffee and tea to the table and you also have a buffet with amazing food too!, the room we stayed at was HUGE!😳 beautiful and the bed was comfortable the sheets were soft, fresh and crispy my God, I swear, this place did not disappoint at all, it was the most amazing stay ever! The Hotel is set in a quiet area within Barrhead in lovely grounds. Plenty of free onsite parking. Beautiful vista as you approach the front of the building. Classic and modern inside. Friendly helpful welcome and directions to the room from Andrew and offered to take my bags to the room. The evening meals were delicious and menu choice was good and interesting. Lynne the maitre D on the evening shift made me feel welcome and comfortable. Terry and Norma on the breakfast shift were friendly and good attentive service. The food was the right amount with good presentation and fabulous flavour. The room was newly refurbished and very comfortable the only thing lacking is air conditioning. Thanks for a great stay we’ll be back.

The hotel was absolutely fabulous, beautifully furnished with lovely facilities. The staff are professional, courteous and thoughtful. The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable and the shower was awesome. Dinner was wonderful with a big select of fantastic dishes and a good wine list at reasonable prices. Our meals were superb and I was very impressed with hot plates. The restaurant staff were professional and friendly. Cooked to order full Scottish breakfast was divine and the breakfast shift staff were absolutely lovely and thoughtful. I will definitely stay here again.

Very central, friendly receptionists, spacious, well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Great to have self catering facilities including tea, coffee and fresh milk as well as all kitchen equipment. The bed and bedding were really comfortable and the large walk-in shower with fluffy towels was perfect. We were at the back of the building so no view, but very quiet. Felt very secure with 24 hour reception. 2 minutes from Queen Street station, 5 minutes from Buchanan Street Subway.

I can't say enough positive about Native Glasgow hotel! My husband and I stayed there for 4 days after walking the West Highland Way so that we could explore Glasgow. The front-desk staff were very welcoming and very helpful, for example one fellow hand-writing a list of restaurants and pubs of particular types when we inquired for some ideas. To me they reflected the friendly spirit of the city. The hotel provides complementary bottles of milk, packages of ground coffee for brewing, and tea (also sweetener etc) so you don't have to purchase those. The kitchenette is well equipped and we found it in top-notch condition as was the whole spacious room. I love the structure of the rooms and hallways: leading to each small set of rooms there are small ante-rooms off the main hallway that I'm sure help to enhance the quiet and privacy. The rooms have A/C which was welcome in the surprising heat of this past month. Everything is spotless; the furniture in the suite all seemed new and of very high quality, and the bed excellently firm and comfy. Along with all this, the location is amazing. Right across the street is a frequent bus stop for the airport. I would go back here in a heartbeat and recommend it thoroughly!

We absolutely loved our stay for so many reasons! First, the location is central to Queen Street train station and St. George's square. Queen Street station is a hub for connecting to inner city and other city locations. Second, the room was so beautiful, quiet, and comfortable! We loved that we could cook in the room and there was even a small dishwasher. There is recycling AND composting available in the room. Yes, I said composting! The shower and bathroom are spacious and perfect. In short it was just the best and so delightful. Lastly, did I mention the staff were also so kind, funny, helpful, and entertaining? The restaurant recommendations they gave us were affordable, delicious, and nearby. Thank you for a wonderful stay! When we return, there is no need to look elsewhere, especially as St. George's Square continues to transform into a green space.

What a lovely, relaxing experience we had staying at Native. Location was perfect for us for the bars and restaurants we were wanting to visit. Our studio room was furnished elegantly to a very high standard and had everything we could possibly need! Bed was comfy and shower was amazing! Good wifi, friendly staff and the option to order in food or drinks if needed. We will definitely be back - our new favourite place to lay our heads in Glasgow.

Excellent, central location for all attractions. Very comfortable and well equipped studio apartment, spotless room, Good shower with complimentary toiletries, Kitchenette also had tea, coffee, water, biscuits. All these little touches made a difference. Very friendly helpful staff. Enjoyable stay.

The building is obviously quite new and located directly at the north side of the river Clyde towards the city center. Subway station, restaurants, pubs and supermarkets (Tesco Express, Lidl, Sainsbury) all in close proximity. The building is quite huge with 14 floors of apartment units that are serviced by several fast elevators. Gym and laundry room on the 1st floor. Very friendly and helpful staff at the 24 hour reception desk. Clean and spacious apartment with almost everything you might need. Good air conditioning, nice shower and comfortable beds that are on the harder side (which I prefer). Incredible view from the big window that you unfortunately can't open to ventilate the room. Functional kitchenette with water boiler, coffee machine, toaster, two hot plates, fridge + freezer compartment, microwave and dishwasher. Appliance instructions available at the reception desk.

I loved everything about this place. It was clean, comfortable, and overall just an amazing stay — I highly recommend it. However, if you prefer a traditional hotel experience, this might not be for you. There’s no daily housekeeping, towel changes, or trash collection. The concept is more like staying in your own apartment, which I personally enjoyed. The apartment was well-equipped with lots of thoughtful touches: a fully stocked kitchen with a fridge, kettle, dishwasher, microwave, cooker, and coffee machine. There were plenty of utensils, cups, and dishes — everything you need to cook or enjoy a meal at home. The location is also excellent. It’s close to the River Clyde, perfect for a walk or early morning run. Buchanan Street, with its many cafés and shops (including Tesco and Sainsbury’s Local), is just around the corner. It’s also a 5-minute walk to Central Station and only 2 minutes to St. Enoch subway station. Getting to and from the airport is easy as well. The staff were exceptional — very helpful, friendly, and always ready to assist or offer advice.

Welcoming entrance and lobby area. Very friendly helpful staff. Good size room with very well equipped kitchenette. Spacious shower room. Nice decor. Thoughtful lighting. View of the Clyde from both beds. Amazingly central location. One of the few places with twin beds available. Having the kitchenette meant no stress from having to eat out at every meal. We stayed 3 nights and it was very reasonably priced. We'll be back next time we're in Glasgow.

Our third stay at this hotel. Love everything about it: the apartment is quite spacious with a small but very convenient kitchen. We made our own breakfast in our apartment, and had all the equipment we needed, included a toaster. You can buy breakfast on the hotel, but we deceided not to do so this time. The location close to St. Enoch Subway, and Glasgow Central station. The price is decent. The staff is friendly, and the hotel is clean, and it feels safe too, with the 24/7 reception. The bed is firm, but good. Will be back again for sure!

I always stay at the Aparthotel when I'm in Glasgow. The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern with a great shower and kitchen facilities, comfy bed and chairs, and good places to work. I've sometimes also had a wonderful view over the Clyde. The hotel is really close to Central and Queen St stations and St Enoch subway station, very convenient.

Piper's Tryst has a special charm and coolness factor, that IMHO, can't be matched by a corporate chain hotel or most independent hotels. While it's not modern it has been refurbished. It is comfortable and conveniently located to many excellent restaurants such as Kelp and Ardnamurchan, plus lots of great pubs. The Piper's Tryst has the x-factor. For instance, our room had a large wooden window that you could open enough to jump out if you chose. Which means you can ventilate your room well, unlike most hotel windows that only open a crack or not at all. The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was simple but of superior quality, fresh cut fruit, porridge and fresh baked rolls, with good jam, not little plastic packets of nondescript jelly. The small bar was fun and though the restaurant was closed I heard it was a hidden gem...next time. Also there happened to be an impromptu band of 8 or 9 young musicians that played Scottish music to everyone's pleasure. And, your stay helps support the National Piping Center, located in the same building. Highly recommended.

Great central location for transport, shops and entertainment, but still quiet for a busy city location. Room had a very comfortable bed and lovely ensuite bathroom. The dining room and bar was pleasant and cosy, the complimentary dram of whisky dispensed when checking in was a nice touch too. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented, as was the dinner. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay and would consider booking again in the future..

A perfect and fun place to stay - how many times would one stay in a bagpipe museum!? I was here three times in May and June, solo and with a friend. All three times the rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet. It is located perfectly - easy walks to both train stations and the main bus station, and to the city sights. There is no lift; rooms are the first and second floors (2nd and 3rd floors, to those in North America). The restaurant downstairs is lovely, great food (and quiet). My rooms faced the side street, and the main street, but it was consistently quiet. (I had the window open a bit at night for ventilation, and it was still quiet.)

Super friendly and attentive staff. Amazing vegetarian full Scottish breakfast!!!! Good coffee too. Good size double bedroom and loved the waterfall shower. Nice to have option of the different shower directions as well. Had a lovely, courtesy dram of whiskey on my arrival! They also stored my luggage for the day, free of charge. Very helpful. Great, central location. Would book again.

The staff are great from the greeting to the goodbye. Exceptionally clean and comfortable with a lovely view down a classic Glasgow street. The woman in charge of housekeeping was an absolute delight friendly helpful and my room there was nothing out of place and nice little touches. I had dinner which was 3 course Scottish cuisine lovely, excellent breakfast choices included in the price I'll definitely go back felt completely safe as a solo traveler but I'll be back with my partner and for the family events little gem of place.

This is the 2nd stay at Ashtree House in Paisley. We stayed for just one night on each stay as we were working in the town centre. The hotel is quiet, despite being a 5 minute walk from the main centre. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the bed linen is very clean and high quality. We didn't stay for breakfast or have dinner, but there is a fantastic whiskey bar and comfortable lounge. The lady that manages/owns the hotel is very kind and friendly - as well as being very knowledgeable about the vast selection of whiskeys in the bar!! The room and en-suite bathroom was well appointed. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any travellers to Paisley.

Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel itself was in very good repair, given its age as a silk merchants home from 1795! We so much appreciated the historical ambience and informational book provided by the owner that told us more about the home and Paisley history. The owners were Tom and Maureen we super nice, helpful, and fun to chat with. The breakfast was our first "Scottish" meal, having just arrived to Scotland and we still won't forget it; perfect and so graciously served. The main sitting (tea and lounge) rooms were especially inviting and comfortable with lovely art to enjoy throughout. We had an excellent sleep with extremely comfortable bedding. The location could not have been better! It was right next to the downtown "village" and the Scot Rail which we simply walked to in order to catch a great roundtrip visit to nearby Glasgow. We felt perfectly safe in the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a really special place to stay and are spending a day or more in the Glasgow area, especially if you don't want to bother with city crowds and transportation inconveniences.

Welcoming hosts and staff. The stairs up to room 5 are steep but the room is spacious, very comfortable and has great views. Excellent quality linens and towels. Plentiful hot water. Quiet location with parking, in the heart of Paisley Dinner was very good though the main course was a bit bijou. Excellent breakfast. Try a dram from the whisky bar!

The woman greeting us was very friendly and helpful. I do not remember her name unfortunately. I had called ahead the day before we left Edinburgh and she gave very helpful directions on taking the right train. She also recommended two restaurants for dinner and the one we chose was excellent. (Il Pescatore) a new Italian restaurant in Paisley that we were able to walk to. She helped us order a cab from a company she apparently knew so that they could pick us up at 6:00 am to catch our flight from the airport. We had to miss the breakfast because we were leaving so early but my husband saw the menu and was disappointed we wouldn't be able to enjoy it. It's a really lovely historic building with the main rooms gorgeously decorated. Wish we'd had more than one night there.

We loved this beautiful and well kept historical inn. The room was very nice with a cozy, comfortable bed and the shower was the best we’ve had in Scotland….great shower head, hot water, and water pressure. Delightful! We enjoyed a delicious breakfast with plenty of choices to order. Especially nice was the hospitality of the innkeeper who always was kind, friendly, and suggested we go to the Abbey down the street until time to leave for the airport. Beautiful and a great experience. We will return to Ashtree House if ever in Glasgow/Paisley again.

Spacious room, large bathroom with bath tub and separate shower, huge window, very bright. Great quality linen and duvet, plenty and comfortable pillows, supple but supportive mattress. Period furniture and décor. The hotel was built in 1870 and retains this old world charm. Plenty of tea, coffee, etc. goodies. At a quiet spot away from the city center. Excellent breakfast (paid for separately) well worth it. Very attentive, helpful and professional staff. A real gem.

We had a great stay -- the hotel is rather unique in that it's actually several townhouses that are connected and then redone as rooms. Our room was delightfully decorated fitting of the boutique hotel status, with a huge bathroom and large, comfortable bed. The hotel staff were communicative and helpful, both before our stay, messaging over booking.com, at reception, and while there. We were celebrating a special occasion, and had a nice surprise welcoming us in the room, which we appreciated. We also ordered room service from the restaurant (always a nice treat at hotels that offer it) and this hit the spot -- there was good variety, the food was high quality, and the ambiance and experience quickly made us feel at home. Lastly, it was our first time in Glasgow and as travelers without a car, we weren't quite sure where to stay. This spot worked out quite well -- the area is nice, and the university area (around Byres road), with more shops and cafes and such, is just a 10 minute walk, or a shorter bus ride. The bus stop is also right outside and very convenient, and that or the train provide quick transit access through the city. Overall, this worked out very well for us -- we had comfortable accommodations, tasty food, and great service. Would recommend to others.

Gorgeous room, really good size and very comfortable. Loved the bed and had a great night’s sleep. All staff were really welcoming and friendly from the moment I arrived and I would definitely choose to stay here again when back in Glasgow. I really enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar, great for a few drinks and dinner and just a really nice cosy, welcoming atmosphere to relax with a book

Room was large and very comfortable. Bed was comfortable.Shower had tons of water pressure. Dinner at the restaurant was exceptional! No I really mean it, amazing!
