Hotels with Jacuzzi in Room in Guatemala

We were visiting our son who was living in Xela for a year. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Xela, easy walking to many of the town center attractions, eateries and sites. The staff were very professional and friendly. We had a family suite. The management pro-actively offered to move us one evening when a wedding was going to take place very close to our room. This was very thoughtful and much appreciated. The rooms are spacious, clean and fresh. The beds are firm, which I love. Showers were hot and powerful. The included breakfast was fresh and tasty. We did not see any elevators and did not need them but check if you have accessibility issues. We used Booking.com and felt the rates were fair. We have no hesitation recommending Pension Bonifaz Hotel.

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. We chose it because it’s right on Xela’s Parque Central and easy walking distance to many restaurants. They property is a bit worn, with peeling paint in some places. The room was clean and comfortable and we especially liked the hardwood floors—it had some charm. I enjoyed a swim in the pool in the morning, though it would be nice if it opened earlier than 8am. And please make towels available in the pool area. There was a bathtub and I looked forward to a relaxing bath. Unfortunately the water was lukewarm in the evening. In the morning the hot water was fine. I would come back.

Great hotel. There was a slight musty smell upon entering, but it passed quickly. The bathroom was big and spacious. We had a junior suite and it gave us a bit more room to feel comfortable. The bed was a king and was very comfortable. We were there in January, and Xela was very cold at night, but we had three blankets to keep us warm. The breakfast was included and was filling. The desk manager gave us a room with a terrific view of the beautiful main plaza of Quetzaltenango. Would go back and stay here again. The hotel is one of the grand, older hotels of Xela, highly recommended.

Checking in was both smooth and fast. Staff were very friendly from front desk to waiters & housekeeping. Room was clean and comfortable. Room was well appointed. Room and washroom amenities were more than. adequate. For a hotel of this age it has been well maintained. kudos to the staff & management. Location is fantastic at Central Park. Walking distance to many eateries and other attractions. Highly Recommended!

I was very impressed with the layout of the hotel. Fresh flowers throughout. A wonderful terrace with a view of the mountains. The jacuzzi tub in our room was an added bonus.

Didnt like that we could not use the jacuzzi (we even paid a massage in the spa) and our shower in our bathroom was broken. Liked that its really walkable distance from all Antigua, breakfast was good and the staff is really nice.

We stayed in Room 19. The room and private jacuzzi are incredible. The hotel is stunning and the staff are attentive and lovely. We’ll be back.

Loved staying in this hotel! Looks antique, beautiful and has all modern facilities. Price is reasonable for the overall experience and on par with other similar hotels.   Hospitality: Hotel staff (especially Jennifer and Alfonso at the front desk, manager Rosa Maria) are very friendly, courteous and always available to help. They were promptly communicating with me on WhatsApp even before my stay.   Rooms and restaurant: Rooms are clean and spacious. Has it's own restaurant and food is tasty. Breakfast is included and is good. Also, has room service, which is prompt. Didn't notice any noise/disturbances. I stayed in the premium suite.   Spa: Hotel has it's own private spa, which looks serene. If you book a jacuzzi, then the spa entry is entirely reserved for you for your time to maintain privacy. Only downside is the spa service - massage wasn't the great, probably because they just hired new masseuses. Some of the advertised massages aren't available either for the same reason.   Location: Perfect! Very close (walkable) to parque central and tourist attractions in the city. Noise level is low. Also, seemed safe to walk around late in the night.   Would definitely stay here again.

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Boutique Los Pasos & Spa! I don't know how this place does not have a 9.8 or 10 star rating. It has so much charm and allure. It is quite romantic and charming but not overly so. There were multiple inner courtyards you pass through to get to your private room that, coupled with the original craftsmanship and layout, made for a feeling of walking through a Colonial Era Spanish villa or hacienda. You feel instantly transported to another era. The place has both been impeccably updated and feels new while maintaining so much original charm. The beds were wonderfully dressed with very high-quality linens. The showers were amazing. Strong water pressure. My room had a shower with two shower heads (his and hers). There are two lighting options in the bathroom. A recessed perimeter lighting that, when used alone, made for such a relaxing ambiance. The room was perfectly clean. There were ample outlets. Ample space in the room. The restaurant service was fantastic. For your included breakfast you could choose from anything on the breakfast menu--which was really nice.

The staff were very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. There were beautiful fresh cut flowers everywhere and a delightful courtyard garden for breakfast. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The rooftop view was amazing! Centrally located. Highly recommend 👌

Charming, romantic, cozy, so much character everywhere you turn , a photographers dream with lighting and composition ams portraits. Breakfast was delicious, sweet and savory, lemon water all day, coffee available in the mornings & afternoons, lovely rooftop terrace with a 360 view, perfect for journaling with sunshine and a breeze (no street view of procession fyi) , and many reading nooks for quiet contemplation, and they have two fountains. So sweet and everything you need , located right within town. You do have to be mindful of noise etiquette as rooms on ground floor especially are not sound proof and have windows that open to hallway, but it wasnt an issue. You can always use earplugs as well.

This was probably one of my favourite hotels I've stayed at. The rooms were rustic and awesome. Spacious and clean. The bathroom was my favourite with a light roof - lots of natural light. The hotel was gorgeous outside and through the corridors as well. Loved all the old decor. The staff were amazing & super helpful & friendly. The hotel organised for us to do some washing. The breakfast there was delicious! Tea & coffee downstairs as well as water and hibiscus juice accessible downstairs at all times. Right in the city so not a far walk from anywhere. Upstairs on the rooftop had great views of the volcanos - you could see de Fuego when the clouds went away. Nice little garden areas. Couches all around the corridors as well to chill out on. Would definitely recommend to stay here as I would stay here again! :)

This place gets everything right. Location is ideal, just a few blocks from both the arch and the main square, but still quiet at night. Rooms are comfortable, stylish (rustic colonial) and well appointed. Whole property is immaculately clean, and it's clear a lot of thought went into decor, landscaping, and all the design touches. Really beautiful serene spaces throughout the property, lovely central first-floor courtyard where a wonderful breakfast is served (included). Coffee and juices available in dispensers all day. Helpful, professional, and obviously well trained staff addressed any request or question quickly and completely. Lovely rooftop terrace. And all at a most reasonable price. You can certainly spend more than this in Antigua, but why you'd want to is beyond me. I look forward to revisiting the experience on my next trip.

The hotel itself is very beautiful, beautifully decorated with arts,furniture, fresh flowers everywhere,garden is relaxing to sit in and have breakfast,very clean. The breakfast was wonderful, great selection of food,excellent coffee, very kind personnel. In the heart of the city, proximity to shops, restaurants, tourist attractions and sights. The room was spacious, beds comfortable.

Amazing suite with jacuzzi- perfect after a volcano hike to unwind in! Double beds were also very comfy- staff all amazing and super helpful!

Our host Elvis was excellent, he was very attentive and responsive throightout our stay. The room was very comfortable and the jacuzzi was a great addtion. Elvis even ensure we got breakfast early before our transfer the following morning.

The hotel isi beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous. Loved the museum right on the property. Our room and the amenities were comfortable and clean. Lunch was delicious and the service was excellent. LOVED the pool and jacuzzi, really needed after a day of travel.

The hotel itself is a museum . It is luxurious and with excellent customer service . All staff were extremely friendly and attentive . There is so much to admire and enjoy. Spending extra for the room with access to the spa was worth every penny . The spa is incredible . The garden, the bar / restaurant in the spa area and the jacuzzi were incredible . I treated myself to a massage and Bertha was phenomenal. I would definitely come back . We made sure to go to the sister restaurant “fork and spoon “ and the view is phenomenal , a must see!!

This stay was excellent all around. The staff were super attentive and nice. The room itself was so beautiful and grandeur. It really made us feel like we were royalty. We had just done the volcano hiking tour so the jacuzzi was much needed. The garden area was also beautiful and was a perfect area to hang out. I love their attention to detail from the decorations throughout the hotel all the way to soaps and shampoos that were supplied in the bathroom. Granted this was on the expensive side for Antigua, it still felt totally worth it. One of the best hotels I’ve ever stood at.

Truly a fantastic Boutique hotel. Our room had an amazing sitting area with a courtyard and jacuzzi. The room decorations were antique church artifacts. The bathtub had a shower with two sprayers, lovely towels, bathrobes and slippers. The aroma that floats in the atmosphere is of a spa smell. They have an excellent breakfast room with several choices, coffee, teas and juices. Their sitting area is very quaint, you can order a bottle of wine from the reception desk and enjoy it in their gardens or sitting area. Sadly, they do not have a restaurant for dinner facilities. The staff are very friendly and fluent in English. I will definitely be back.

I had a wonderful stay at Las Cruces Boutique Hotel, a charming and elegant property in the heart of Antigua Guatemala. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a seating area, a big screen TV, a full length mirror, and a walk in closet. The room was also beautifully decorated with antique items that reflected the culture and history of the city. It felt like staying in a mini museum. The bathroom was amazing, with a shower that had two shower heads for a spa-like experience. The hotel also provided complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled water, as well as a mini fridge and a bar with wine, beer, and spirits. The climate control was a big plus, as the hotel had mini splits that worked as heaters and AC. The hotel was very quiet and peaceful, as it only had 11 rooms. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast that was tasty and varied, with fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and local dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The hotel was close to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. I highly recommend Las Cruces Boutique Hotel for anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Antigua Guatemala. It is a gem of a hotel that deserves all the praise it gets.

I was traveling with my husband for the first time in Guatemala. This property is located in the heart of Antigua. The hotel is quiet, restful and accommodating to guests. From the moment you walk through their beautiful restored doors you are greeted very warmly by a staff person who makes you feel like you’ve come home after a journey. There is beautiful artwork everywhere. Plants and a beautiful courtyard with corridors holding furniture placed in different areas welcomes you to linger in the spaces and take in the natural beauty and architectural elements from the colonial period prevalent in Antigua Guatemala. The room we stayed in had two floors and two bathrooms. It was very comfortable and you could see that attention to detail both in the decor and amenities were carefully considered. We enjoyed sleeping upstairs and lounging in the lower living area when we weren’t out sighseeing. Breakfast options were all deliciously prepared by a chef in house and served with care and attention every morning. French toast with fresh berries and cream, eggs Benedict, and a typical plate of eggs, frijoles, cheese and plátanos were some options. Fresh fruit smoothies and even an oatmeal parfait with your choice of milk. The coffee was delicious as expected in Guatemala. The front desk was always very helpful in recommending places to eat lunch or dinner. They were also very helpful in finding activities for us to do and places to see. We loved everything about this hotel.

We only stayed there for 1 night, but our experience was very nice. The rooms are very large as the room also provided a sitting area. The bed was king size and very comfortable. Unfortunately, they do not serve dinner, you need to go to a restaurant close by of which there are several. There is a "sitting room" in the hotel where you can get together with your party and have a glass of wine. Not sure what other alcoholic drinks can be purchased as there is no bar per se. You order your bottle of wine at the reception. Staff is VERY friendly and helpful and proficient in English. Breakfast is included in the room rate. I believe they only have 9 rooms. Breakfast offers several selections which is more than plenty and you can order the style of your eggs as you prefer. The hotel is very recommendable but being a boutique hotel, it naturally is somewhat on the pricy side.

We stayed in the Rose Suite. This is the only room upstairs and has its own private balcony. The staff even bring breakfast up to your outside patio. The room was large and very comfortable. There was a jacuzzi bath which was relaxing. Nathalia was always available to answer our questions and provide helpful recommendations. I enjoyed my stay very much and think this is the best hotel you will find within the city of Antigua.

Posada del Angel is just amazing. Our room was stunning, and the level of service is the best I have ever experienced. We loved having a delicious breakfast served every morning on our private terrace with views of the surrounding mountains. The full size jacuzzi in our bathroom was very nice as well.

We stayed in the Presidential Suite and the room was large with a big, comfy bed and a separate jacuzzi tub and shower. It was nice and private being the only room upstairs, and we enjoyed having a private place on the rooftop terrace, too. The cooked-to-order breakfast was very good, and the women who served it were very nice. The door to the property is a locked gate 24/7 and we felt very secure there.

The Posada Del Angel certainly has the wow factor when arriving in the day time and seeing the beautifully decorated comfortable rooms, picturesque little pool, surrounding garden area and the rooftop terrace with views. By night it is even more pretty when they add candlelight. We chose the Mary Sue suite, which was a lovely large ground floor room with a big bathroom including a jacuzzi-style bath and a tiny bit of outside space, more for looking at than using. It was great to have a proper sitting area and the room is beautifully furnished, like a home. The breakfast is the same each day, served either inside in a small dining area overlooking the pool, or up on the roof terrace. We did have a few issues with the bathroom equipment. The pop- up plug kept getting stuck in the basin (whilst hubbie was trying to have a wet shave) and the plug in the bath did not seal correctly. The maintenance man reacted very quickly though. The TV had no live channels so your choice is to screen share (we couldn't get it to work) or login to one of your subscription apps, if this is important to you. There are no tea or coffee facilities in the room. Even so, we are still giving the hotel a 5* overall as these things do not really detract from the overall impression this accommodation gives.

I stayed in Antigua for 5 days last February. I was travelling alone and I wanted a hotel that was comfortable and safe, but also picturesque in case I didn't feel like going out alone at nights. La posada del Angel gave me all that. Very close to everything, with restaurants nearby and the most wonderful staff! The place is full of beautiful art and has relics in every corner, truly a magical place! The terrace on the second floor has a great view of the volcano and its the perfect place to have your included breakfast. I had all breakfast options and they were all great and abundant. Be aware they only serve breakfast, but the restaurant next door will bring you room service and they are excellent as well. My room had a tub under a glass ceiling and it was lovely to use it during the full moon, it also had a fireplace that looked very romantic but the weather wasn't cold enough to use it. I fell in love with the place and I plan to return. Best staff!

The room is super comfortable, extremely clean, bed is comfortable and shower is great. The hotel has great amenities, the pool and jacuzzi were impecable. The gym has enough equipment to accommodate the guests. The food in the restaurant was delicious.

It was a beautiful stay. Kind and friendly staff. Great beds. Amazing shower and bathroom. Good location. It was luxurious. But price-quality, its a bit pricey in comparisson to other stays in Guatemala. But it was lovely, the rooms are very spacious and charming if you like the antique style (not modern style ). It was very neat and the breakfast buffet was really good. Also dinner options are nice. Also room service was very delicious food.

The staff was attentive, and maintenance/cleaning was ongoing and evident as the grounds are immaculate. Suite 8 was incredibly spacious, and the outdoor garden patio with jacuzzi was lovely. The included breakfast was fresh and had a nice variety. Pool was Instagram worthy, though small and quite cold - it was refreshing on the hottest of days. The hotel location was walkable to all major sites with ease (3-10 minutes), yet far enough away to feel secluded. Absolutely recommend El Convento without hesitation !

El Convento Boutique Hotel is absolutely beautiful and the staff are amazing, very attentive to any and all our needs. The location is fabulous, walking distance to incredible churches, ruins and many tourist attractions like the archway and Central Park. The restaurant serves delicious meals, we particularly enjoyed the Avocado toast and poached egg, mmmm so good, and we cannot forget the great coffee! We would like to thank the manager Diego, our driver Robinson, our waiter Marvin and all the staff who made our stay in this gorgeous hotel so memorable, you all deserve 10 stars!!!

The El Convento Boutique Hotel is an excellent property. We stayed for 5 nights in Jan 2024 and really enjoyed our stay. The service was great, the room was really nice and the hotel, facilities etc. are very well maintained. The location is awesome as everything is Antigua proper is within walking distance. My only gripe was that the breakfast (which is included) was not a good look and sadly the coffee served w/breakfast was bad which is unfortunate given the quality of coffee cafes all throughout Antigua. You might like it, we didn't but it doesn't deter from the fact that hotel, its staff and facilities are great. Would definitely stay again! Overall the hotel and Antigua was a great experience

The restaurant was very good. The food was delicious. We stayed in the suite and the outdoor jacuzzi tub was soooo relaxing. I didn't realize the spa/pool was not available on site. You have to walk to use another hotel spa/pool. But walking is good, so ono big deal.

This house hotel is amazing! The grounds are absolutely stunning and very clean. The staff is welcoming, kind, and professional. Our friends got married here and the ceremony was excellent. The room was far beyond my expectations. Very spacious and ornately decorated. My spouse and I loved using the jacuzzi every night and there was complimentary cookies & juice in the lobby. Picturesque volcano views from the bar. 11/10 stay.

The room was beautiful, and the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed relaxing in the Jacuzzi, and the hotel in general was absolutely lovely; almost like a museum. The food at breakfast was amazing, probably the best I had all trip, and staff was polite and friendly throughout. I would warn that the reservation and check in process was a little difficult; be sure to have your email confirmation handy. The front desk was insistent I booked a room for 1 adult, when in fact I had booked for myself and my husband. Once I was able to prove that, check in was fine. One person I was traveling with was charged for the room he booked but received a smaller room, so definite logical confusion at the desk

This is the hotel that Gate 1 Discovery Tours is using for my tour Culture and Adventure in Guatemala and Belize and checked in a day early today - love it - boutique feeling but first class services, cozy and very nice check-in staff - arrived with a big and beautiful wedding taking place which looked amazing. Room is spacious and comfortable and everything I could hope to need. A long travel day so opted for dinner at the rooftop bar, taken care of by Oscar who is just lovely. Had one of the house cocktails Pensativo Sangria and the Skirt Steak dinner, which were both delicious. Great start to my stay in Antigua and tomorrow get to see it all in the daylight!

We absolutely loved this property! It was beautiful and clean. Several areas to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. The food was delicious. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and enjoyed it very much. The staff was always very friendly. The hotel was booked for a wedding so I was only able to get a room with a king size bed. It worked out well for my sister and I. Very spacious. We didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The hotel is about 6 blocks from the park, church and shopping area. Not bad at all! We were very pleased and will DEFINITELY stay here again.

Excellent location: safe, quiet, and close to everything. Beautiful relaxing pool and garden, helpful staff, tasty breakfast, the jacuzzi tub in the room was great and they provided bubble bath. The room and grounds are exceptionally clean. I recommend staying here for a trip to Antigua.

The room was spacious and clean. Complete with toiletries, bottled water and bath robes. Nice Jacuzzi bathtub, although not enough hot water. The king bed was not soft, but some people like harder beds. Large flatscreen tv. Private terrace with a table and chairs. The complementary breakfast was not so great. It was limited to a few options, with better looking options not available even though they were priced the same.

This was a charming hotel 5 blocks south of the central park. The grounds and gardens were awesome. The pool was clean but very chilly since it was winter. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The staff was outstanding and fun. I did not speak much Spanish, but they were patient and helped me with basics and pointed out places in Antigua in response to my questions. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. We appreciated the good WiFi so we could Skype with our children in USA. We plan to stay there again when we return to Guatemala.

We spent our first night in Antigua here and it was perfect. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rate was very inexpensive considering the size, comfort, and attention to detail in the rooms. My friend and I especially enjoyed the decor, traditional dark wood furniture and the gorgeous garden and terrace. The hotel was quiet and peaceful

We stayed here for two nights and it was peaceful and close to the city centre. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. I would recommend this place to any couple looking for a quiet space in the heart of the city. It also has great areas for relaxing with volcano views!

This was our oasis for Semana Santa and it was just lovely. The staff were super accommodating and always had a smile for us. The rooms are cozy and clean. The roof terrace is a great place to relax. There is always delicious coffee and a quiet place to relax.

This was a beautiful, quiet hotel with a lovely garden and terrace. Our room was simple and comfortable, exactly what was need after a long day of travel. The front desk people were very helpful. I would stay here for the garden view and peace and quiet anytime.

Friendly staff, very nice and polite. We loved the staff guy at night shift because he is always willing to help and try to make guest as comfortable as possible. We stayed at room #1 and it was good, nice double beds and very clean. They provided towels and essentials for all the days we stayed at this hotel. We are going back to Antigua and we already booked out last night at this hotel. The hotel has a wonderful location and they offer us 20% off in a nearby restaurant. I would recommend a mini fridge on each room because Antigua is a warm city and there’s no restaurant in the hotel so you might want to have a cold drink at your room instead of going out to find one. 100% recommended
