Quiet place (if you don't mind living on a gold range) with a lot of options, even if you're not into golf. Sauna, small pool with an excellent view, padel tennis courts, free cycles, games and it's in walking distance of a long beach. Excellent breakfast buffet and almost all staff where very friendly, helpful and professional. If you wan't to be away from the golf restaurant and have it real quiet, go for a higher room number (e.g. 207 - higher) on the upper floor.

A modern hotel built right on the golf greens... Of course it is great for golfers, but non golfers will appreciate the very quiet location and the proximity of the beach (a 10 minutes walk). The design is clean and modern, rooms are large, convenient and the beds comfortable. They all feature a covered terrace or a balcony. The color concept (each room is in a dominant color...) is somewhat peculiar. Reception and restaurant are located in the club house next doors.

We stayed here for one night on a road trip through Sweden. Hotel is obviously catered for golfers but worked out well for our one night. Clean and decent sized rooms. Bathrooms are not large, but clean and modern. The only complaint was that the wifi was not strong in the room and ended up needing to sit out on the couches in the hallway to get a strong enough signal. But for a non-business trip it was just fine. Really great breakfast with lots of options. The staff was also very friendly and very helpful.

Amazing hotel with the view of the golf club. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time we are in Halmstad. Only minus is that certain days the restaurant are closed and you can pick up a basket in the fridge on the 1st floor. That is okay but the hotel should make an order list so at least you can choose what you want to have for breakfast. A chocolate bar and a childrens juice is not something I would choose for breakfast as a grown-up.

A super hotel: comfortable beds, beautiful view,(golf course green and small lake and sea in the distance) terrace in the sunshine, simple decor, quiet and friendly. The hot tub was great after a great ride on the free bikes along the coast. The beach was a short walk away. Superb.

This is a top notch hotel that delivers on all fronts. We thoroughly enjoyed our most comfortable bed,great shower and extremely quietness of our room. Everything was perfect as well as the beautiful breakfast buffet, the roof top bar and the adjoining restaurant for dinner.

We stayed on the 8th floor one night and wow, should have stayed longer. The gym and the sauna/lounge are on floors 10/11 and everything was perfect. We were not expecting that level of comfort. Everything was new, fresh, clean. Beds were great, the pizza dinner and breakfast super tasty. Parking just across the street. Not one single thing was below 5 stars during our stay.

For my purposes, the location was perfect. The hotel was immaculate, staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the Premier room I stayed in was one of the most comfortable I have EVER stayed in, and I travel a lot for work, with modern top-quality fixtures/fittings and stunning rainforest shower. I also used the gym twice which was also immaculate and provided all the equipment one needed.

Our stay was incredible- exceeded our expectations. The facilities are top-notch, from the state-of-the-art gym and training facility, golf facilities, hot tub, and sauna. Truly relaxing with a view of the sea from every space, including our room, the restaurant, and the sauna! The complimentary breakfast was incredible, as were the dinners, with a sunset view over the water as we enjoyed the amazing food. Walking to the beach on quiet trails was another highlight. We will be back, without a doubt- highly recommend to anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle, good food, and relaxation by the seaside!

We stayed in a delux apartment and it was very new, fresh and clean. The staff was very helpful and they answered all our questions. Considering this was our first stay in golfarena, they were very helpful in answering all our questions related to golf. We got the perfect weather to practice golf in the range and play mini golf and do some barbequeas well. Kids enjoyed every bit of the stay here. Amazing golf courses, very green.And then we enjoyed the most perfect sunset that we have seen in a long time from our balcony.

Amazing apartments and the evening/morning view are amazing. We made sure that we got the west/south facing apartments to get the perfect sunset view. We played in the range and mini-golf. Both were at par or even better than usual, facility wise. The breakfast was amazing, has the standard continental options, and tastes really great.

It was perfect. The apartment is fabulous, with lake view and very nicely decorated. It was very clean, comfortable and everything we could need was provided in the apartment. Our kids loved the playground. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast offered many options. We wished we stayed longer and would definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely light and spacious family room with a sea view. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful going above and beyond to help us (eg with restaurant bookings). Lovely breakfast with fresh pancakes cooked to order.

Im working as a football scout in Scandinavia. Im staying in hotels 120-130 nights p year. Hotel Mårtensson is my absolutely favourite hotel. Location is top. At the end of the walking street. 3 minutes walk from the parking. Just outside you have a very nice park and behind the hotel is the river Nissan. So a perfect location for a walk or a run. The hotel has a very cosy cafe together with the recetion. Here is a very fine selection of food,cakes, tea and coffee etc and drinks and wine. The cafe has facilities inddoor and outside. I arrange all my meetings during my stay in this cafe. Then you have a very nice bar and exellent restaurant. The menu and the quality of the meals are top. Again you can sit inside or outside. There is even a roofbar. The hotel is decorated like a private cosy home. Art on the walls and very cosy furnitures. The feeling is a bit nostalgia. The rooms are so nice , like a private room at home. You are feeling so comfortable in the rooms and always looking forward to the fantastic breakfast. The hotel has a spa you can book private. When you arrive you get the feeling of being regular customer. The staff is extremely helpful and always welcoming you with a big smile. I normally stay there because of my work but a family weekend is outstanding in Hotel Mårtensson For sure my favourite hotel.

Elite Hotel Martenson is situated in old town Halmstad and walkable from the train station. The central location provides easy access to restaurants, parks, cultural events, public facilities and a short bicycle ride to a beautiful beach. The hotel itself was very quaint, well maintained and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The restaurants on site provided another excellent amenity. Although we did not get a chance to use the gym it was probably one of the best equipped we’ve seen

Lovely hotel located in the center of Halmstad with amazing decoration. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Very rich breakfast. We had dinner in the main restaurant and was good as well.

A really nice and hospitable hotel located in a nice walking district with access to restaurants and shops as well as the historic city gate. The on premises restaurant Franz Bistro and the Cafe were excellent! The bar was also very nice. All the staff were pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. My only suggestion is a note on booking sites and reservation email that the address of the hotel is not on a drivable street. GPS brings you to the rear of the hotel and it's not apparent where to go. I ended up calling to get instruction.

The hotel is very well located: just cross the street to get to Halmstad central station. It is very close to bars and restaurants, about a 10-minute walk away. The breakfast is rich and tasty. The staff are very friendly. In addition, part of the hotel is under renovation, which is very good for the old building in which it is located, which, by the way, is beautiful!

Located next to the Halmstad trainstation, this very nice renovated hotel in a 1905 built house is tastefully furnished. Snacks @bar and choice @restaurant as well as the offered breakfast buffet are culinaric highlights. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and would choose the Grand again when staying in Halmstad. BTW; public parking (FOC 18:00 - 09:00) is located just around the corner.

Conveniently located adjacent to the railway station the GH Halmstad is a nice and clean hotel, our room was nicely decorated, the breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly and professional

The lobby, restaurant and lounge had a fantastic vibe! Good gluten free and vegan options at the breakfast. Loved it! Really great value for the money!

The hotel is located close to one of the nicest beaches, among the treas. We were staying here for a night with a dog in one of the rooms in a building with a shared kitchen. Eventhough 4 rooms were sharing 1 kitchen, you couldn’t hear the neighbours because of a good soundproofing. Excellent place to stay with a dog, with a lot of green surfaces, close to a beautiful forest and a river delta. Breakfast in the main building had a lot of dairy-free options. Durig the day you can book a sauna with a jacuzzi, rest area and massage chairs.

Given I arrived at 02:00 in the morning the check in procedure was perfect as the staff had been very helpful in accommodating my somewhat unusual circumstances. The place was incredibly clean and the facilities perfect for my needs. Bed was particularly comfortable and room quiet.

There was a mix-up at check-in where we were given a room that was already occupied. Fortunately they weren't there, even though their stuff was. We were upgraded so all good for us, but I feel bad for the guy whose room we crashed. The food was excellent, but a bit more choice at breakfast, fruit-wise, wouldn't go amiss - all we got was assorted colours of melon! All the staff were super helpful, pleasant and professional. The bar and reception area is a wonderful place to be, great industrial-esque decor and very comfortable seating - not to mention the glorious fireplace! So very cosy. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated (as was the one we stayed in the previous night on a separate deal). The same cannot, unfortunately, be said about the corridors. Beds were very comfortable, bathroom was excellent. The lights were very confusing and the lack of a fridge was vexing but understandable, given the chain's eco-friendly profile. Norre Park ticked almost every box for what we want from a hotel, and made us love Halmstad even more than we already did. Hope to be back soon!

Good location for the town, the riverside walks and the woodland walks. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast and the light evening meal included in the price of the room was sufficient for us. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite. These are a full set of rooms including a sauna. A very enjoyable stay in Halmstad.

This is a very cosy neighbourhood hotel with lovely friendly service. As well as a great breakfast, the hotel serves a free evening buffet which was absolutely first class. That is a unique touch that makes it a really great value place to stay. The rooms are beginning to look a little dated compared to new hotels, but that is part of this hotel's charm. I felt really at home here.

We had such a nice time. Everyone was friendly and we enjoyed the huge dinner buffet and the small snacks in between. We also came back on the way back from Norway.

Really friendly and the breakfast was incredible. Such a selection of bread and other delicious items to choose from. Endless supply of tea with yummy biscuits on offer. Bedroom was fine for one and was cleaned daily. Excellent shower.

The hotel has a good location. Staff were good. For a coyple the room was too tight. The spa was nice. It had cold bath, warm zacuzzi and a small warm pool which was perfect for a winter vacation. They also have sauna, salt scrubbing for feet area and additinal relaxation area. We bought the spa entrance with 596sek for 2 people and we had unlimited access to the spa during our stay. They have a small gym as well. The best part was the breakfast! They had a huge breakfast bufe! During the stay they provide unlimited filter coffee at the comon sitting area with cookies. Overall great experience.

This was my second stay at this hotel. I stayed here for the Roxette concert in the city. Hotel is simple 3* yet very well equipped, good located and outstanding value for money. Great rich breakfast which is also available shortly even after official „end time“ and super friendly staff. Will love to return!!!

Great location, fantastic and helpful staff, wide choice of dishes for breakfast (and tasty!). The bathroom & the room were very clean. Bathroom included a proper comfortable shower cabin, which I always prefer to standing in a bathtub :) I could definitely stay there again with pleasure.

Tallhöjden is filled with rustic charm! It was the perfect place for us to meet and have a party for 21 people. Our family congregated from Canada, Norway and Sweden for a weekend in July. The cabins are roomy and they worked out nicely for us. (Our festivities continued there after the restaurant closed for the night). The food was excellent! The pool was a nice bonus. I totally recommend this place if you want to be close to nature and eat some excellent food in a (historic) building. The lakes and boreal-forests in the surrounding areas are so beautiful! A hikers and bikers haven. Lotta and her staff were great!

Then she brought it up herself to our room when I know she was busy downstairs. Thank you so so so much!!!! Our son ate every last bite of it and could finally settle down to sleep after his belly was full:) Also to Cecilia for being so happy, helpful, and welcoming at the front desk during check in and check out. Both of these women were incredible and should be made management if they haven't been promoted already. Can not tell you how much they made our experience a happy, memorable one for our family:) thank you thank you thank you!!:)

Location is amazing just at the beach. THe hotel is an art exhibition with a fotocollection hanging in the stairs corridors everywhere. The restaurants are really good and breakfast great

Location: Convenient for travellers with cars. Ample parking by the hotel. Also Convenient for ppl who would like to do some shopping. Situated door to door to a shopping mall. Staff: Friendly, speak English Rooms: Clean and comfortable. We didn't have a big luggage so might be tight to open and move around. But very comfortable otherwise.

The hotel is conveniently located off the motorway. We did not use it but it is located next to a shopping centre, which is handy. The laundry facilities were a much appreciated feature and the staff were extremely helpful, even checking around for what restaurants might be open for us on New Years Eve. I am glad we stumbled across this property.

I love the location of the hostel being very close to the train station and a convenience store. My twin room was comfortable and quiet and the shared bathroom was adequate. The Hostel provides a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge and dining area. There is also a nice courtyard off the breakfast room. A buffet breakfast is provided at an extra price. I thought it was ok but a little expensive. I mostly provided my own breakfast, which suited my needs. Johanna is an excellent receptionist and is ably supported by Isabelle.

Very COVID safe. We only met the cleaning lady and she was really helpful and super nice. The beds were twin beds and we would’ve liked a queen or king size instead. No breakfast was available on site

Location, very close to bus stop, we travelled by train and bus from Malmo. New and clean equipment in the cabin house. We rented a bike directly in the camp and did beatiful one day trip along the sea side.

Hotel Hovgard provides the best of both worlds with exceptionally clean and well maintained modern accommodations and traditional Swedish charm. This was my second stay at Hotel Hovgard. Both visits I have stayed in a studio with kitchen facilities and air conditioning that makes a visit in the warm Swedish summer comfortable. The room also had a newly added washer/dryer unit. The owners are present on-site and are very involved in making sure your stay is pleasant. Included is breakfast and an evening meal you can purchase in the charming renovated barn. Hotel Hovard is centrally located to downtown Halmstad and the beautiful costal countryside communities and beaches. I have stayed in the downtown area, which was nice, but if you would like a relaxing atmosphere with all the modern conveniences and close to everything; I highly recommend Hotel Hovgard.

The staff was very friendly and the facilities well maintained. Our studio had everything we could wish for. Like a oven, microwave, stove, fridge, freezer, coffee maker, water kettle, great shower, good beds and a balcony. It was spacious and on site there are 3 EV charging stations.

This is a family-run hotel which my collegues and I discovered by chance during a 10-day business trip in Halmstad in October. We travel regularly throughout the world and have stayed at various hotels (various sizes and various "classes"). This is definitely one of our favourites. Each hotel room has an individual theme/character and much thought has been put into the setup/decor of each room.. You can make your own coffee and tea in the breakfast room at any time of the day or night, which is something I always appreciate. We each stayed in a studio room. The rooms are clean, spacious and the design/decor is beautiful with much attention to detail. The service is first class and the entire team tries (and in my case did) accomodate any extra wishes. Any suggestions for improvements we had were very well-taken. The entire team is very friendly and accomodating. It was like a "home away from home".

Cycled to the hotel and were greeted with a really delicious strawberry and elderflower refreshing drink. Garage to store bikes and very pretty rooms. Had a traditional Swedish dinner all served with a smile and just such a lovely atmosphere. Felt nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent and we ate it outside in the sunshine, in a very peaceful, quiet area. Would certainly recommend this and worth the extra kilometres off the Kattegat route and one of the best places we stayed.

The location is excellent, especially if you are looking to be by the beach. We weren't even expecting to spend much time at the beach in mid-May, but the weather was very warm, so we spent a few hours there. We were also able to check in early as the room was ready and we could park in the dedicated parking area. Our room did have a lockbox for our key but there was also someone on site who was very helpful and assisted us in getting into our room. The property is very well kept up and there are plenty of outside options for sitting and relaxing. There are short privacy walls also so you can be screened from your immediate neighbors.

This aparthotel was a fantastic find in a practical location. Pet friendly is important for us as we are traveling with a dog. Very nice setting, with a wonderful patio and a swimming pool. The apartment was clean and comfortable. Large for two people and good value for money. We could also wash clothes in the laundry. All guests very discreet. Very kind and attentive staff.

This is the perfect spot to relax after a couple of days of cycling the Kattegattleden. Close to the beach, spacious apartments and a swimming pool make for a perfect combination.

Very picturesque stay over the sheep's meadow in spacious, wooden tents. Hard to believe how much it looks You're supplied with everything to have a comfortable stay in the outdoors without compromising the camping experience. The bed is warm and comfortable, the tent is clean and well equipped. A small herd of sheep would come by in the afternoon and graze calmly outside our tent. There's a wood oven sauna within a short walking distance, and a small pond to dip into. The location is quiet and peaceful, with only the sounds of farm animals, birds and insects occasionally rupturing the silence.

Super nice and cozy tents, with really comfy beds and warm blankets. Fireplace in front of the tent is great, with 2 nice seats to relax, enjoy the fire, nature and tranquility. Very easy to start the fire, all necessary tools for the fire and for cooking available. Woods ready as well. Sauna just across the small lake 1 min walk from tent, so you can easily start fire in sauna, enjoy sauna, and then jump into the lake to refresh. Nice and relaxing environment when you want to escape the city, noise and all distractions, to enjoy the nature fully. We had a dog with us, since it's a pet friendly glamping, that was lovely we could bring him with us. Check-in and check-out is very simple, key is waiting for you in a small box at the property entrance, so you can come in and leave any time.

The view was surreal and amazing to live so close to the animals. The tent/house was terrific, cozy and clean.

- Stunning, unique surroundings. The view of the lake and sauna and the sheep chilling around the small hills were absolutely adorable. - Very cosy and lovely tents. We loved cooking over the fireplace and hanging out on the sheepskin and blanket on the small 'terrace'. - The sauna was super easy to warm up and the dip in the lake was amazing.

Super cozy getaway. The weather was amazing in June and we enjoyed it so much. The sauna and a cold dip in the small Lake was so refreshing and the sheep had a Nice calming effect. Make sure to get all your supplies for food beforehand - worst case there is a small kiosk in the nearest small city!

The house is very comfortable, clean and in good order with modern interior. Everything necessary is available, including a washing machine and dryer. The host is welcoming, there is a parking place in front of the house and several supermarkets in a close distance.

Easy to check in, easy to find, amazing house with absolutely everything you need, host in the big house next door, fast respond if you ask anything, extremly comfortable beds, a fully equipped house. Just amazing place!

The setting is amazing - beautiful views straight out to sea, with sand at your feet. The meadows surrounding the huts are lovely, and it felt like the perfect balance of nature and comfort. The huts are very sweet and the bed really comfortable. The toilets and showers and clean and practical. It was easy to get to - a 30 mins walk from the train station, or a bus from Halmstad. The staff were really helpful - they even lent us a couple of bikes so we could make the most of the lovely cycling paths around the area - we went to the brilliant Simstadion Brottet, a free open-air swimming pool just around the bay.

The Hut was lovely - comfortable and adorable. Bathroom not attached but not far away and clean. Breakfast was delivered to us early in the morning and was wonderful. We ate at the restaurant on site for dinner and it was lovely. The staff was wonderful and helpful.
