This is a very elegant hotel. Everything screams luxury from the decor in the reception area, bars, restaurants and even the rest rooms (Molton Brown products). Double Rooms are spacious with sittings area, large queen bed and high end bathroom with walk-in shower. Again Molton Brown products & dressing gowns. I will say the lighting either side of the bathroom mirror was excellent for applying makeup. No air conditioning but the large fan in each room is adequate if the weather is warm. No fridge or mini bar but the tea & coffee are Taylor’s of Harrogate. Staff very friendly and most helpful. Beautiful grounds to walk and Aldwark village has a mapped ramble which is just outside the Estate. The hotel is set within a golf course, manicured to perfection with lakes and fountains, seen from the outside terrace with comfy patio seating. Breakfast over looking the golf course was excellent. A menu with all cooked options from full English to Smoked Haddock & poached eggs, there was something for everyone’s taste and all tasted amazing. Options for vegetarian & vegan too. Cold buffet was fresh and unlimited. The leisure & Spa was being refurbished during our stay but if it’s at the same standard as the hotel then it should not disappoint.

We stayed at the hotel for one night in a standard room with a balcony. Check in was really straight forward and we received a very warm welcome. A member of staff collected our bags and delivered them to our room while someone else showed us around the ground floor. We visited the Squadron Bar for coffee and drinks which was wonderful. We also visited the health club which was so quiet and very relaxing. We ordered room service and were really surprised by how quickly the food arrived. It was delicious, very fresh and service was amazing. The vegan chocolate brownie was the best dessert I have ever eaten. Breakfast was great as was the service and check out was very straight forward. We’ve visited the hotel several times but this was the first visit since the refurbishment and change of ownership and the difference is unbelievable. Such an improvement. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend it. We’ll definitely be back for a visit very soon.

Visited this hotel several times previously for long weekends and we always have a nice break, The hotel is in transition at present the latest being the spa and leisure facility being updated and therefore not in use. Room was good with all the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this stature, including a comfy bed. The hotel is set in a brilliant location surrounded by the countryside views that you never get fed up with. Food in the restaurant was also good, breakfast can other be from the Buffett or ordered from the menu. Staff outstanding as ever, pleasant and courteous always happy to help. Bunkers bar which is a separate area for the golfers is also pleasant to have a drink or eat in, especially in the afternoon sun. The one big negative for this hotel is the bar prices that are very expensive. The biggest winners are the pub in the village, which is full of hotel guests in the evening.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out it was outstanding! The atmosphere, the service, the actual place were all perfect, the staff were all friendly and very professional, the room was gorgeous, clean, well stocked, wonderful view, the stay was just perfect.

Pool and jacuzzi use in the evening. Relaxed atmosphere and welcoming staff. Comfortable bed. Convenient distance to Leeds/Bradford airport. Lounge area near bar with armchairs. Plenty of parking. Country setting.

For the price the facilities we're great. Outside hot tub, swimming pool, jacuzzi. It was out of season so quiet but the staff were really friendly and the food in the restaurant was good. Rose petals in the bed and prosecco were a really nice touch!

A lovely few days staying in executive cabin number 56 with our dog. Lots of space and very warm. Staff were friendly, particularly in the spa and the breakfast was excellent. Bathroom a little dated and the shower was difficult to regulate. Love the setting and outdoor jacuzzi.

The whole experience was magic. It was very very special and we can’t wait to come back. The staff were amazing and loved feeling outdoors. The outdoor jacuzzi was a completely new experience and I could live like that.

My room was large with seating area (although different rooms in my party were very differently sized, so it was a bit of luck of the draw); the spa was nice given the price (and not a problem to use within the designated free hours) and I loved the outdoor jacuzzi in particular; evening meal in the hotel was delicious; staff were helpful and accommodating.

Nice location for races and lovely building. Food great. The spa was an extra £15 to use and most of it including the jacuzzi was outside. Might be nice in the summer but not in a howling gale.

The Hotel was bright and spacious and apparently well maintained. It had a mix of the modern but also some traditional wooden panelling in the Bar. Our room was clean, tidy and very comfortable and the toilet was spacious and well set out. The Staff were pleasant and helpful and we enjoyed an excellent and substantial dinner on our one and only evening in the Hotel. The next morning we had a very nice breakfast which included buffets for both hot and cold food - again plenty choice. We felt considering what had been on offer the meals were very good value. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would go back some day.

We enjoyed a lovely relaxing break at this hotel with friendly professional staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant facilities very good. Weather not quite good enough for us to take advantage of the various outdoor seating areas which, nonetheless, did look very inviting.

Beds comfortable, shower worked, but no separate shower 😕 even though bathroom was big enough for one. Room smaller than I expected and very hot. Hairdryer fixed but no where near a mirror, and hard to keep holding to work it, (there was a very small portable mirror). In general the hotel is tired looking. Staff all friendly, from reception to restaurant and bar staff and housekeeping.

Easy and convenient for one night on route to Scotland. The staff are friendly and welcoming and checking in was quick and easy. The room was clean but the television didn’t work. When arriving at 22.00 on a Sunday didn’t think it was worth looking into. But did say on checking out. Breakfast was good and again staff very helpful.

Window in room was tiny. The room was a little damp & when we woke in the morning, even with window open all night, it was full of condensation. The bed was a little lumpy & extremely creaky, so much so when my partner got up in the night the creaking woke me. The room was fairly well equipped with tea, coffee, (no decaf) & milk in the fridge. There was a sink unit with scouring sponge, washing up liquid & tea towel but despite running tap for several minutes did not have hot water. There was a kettle, toaster & microwave. Plenty of plates, cutlery etc but some of the cutlery was dirty. 2 mugs, 2 tumblers and 2 wine glasses are provided but the glasses were dusty. Bedside cabinet contained a hairdryer & a bible. Bathroom equipped with large shower cubicle (good shower) toilet & wash basin. 2xhand towels, 2xbath towels & bath mat. Could hear tv, voices & coughing from people in next room. Service and breakfast were excellent! Warm welcome, polite & helpful. Good choices for breakfast which has to be ordered night before. As for location, depends what you want. Tried to order takeaway but nowhere would deliver. A bit of a walk to nearest pub that provides food. There is a small shop nearby & a fish&chip van was parked up Fri evening. It is very quiet, no traffic noise. There are sheep in the field at the back which you can hear but not enough to be disturbing. If you want peace & quiet it is ideal.

Really nice warm and comfortable room was very cosy and nice touch underground heating in shower room and hosts very welcoming and friendly plus out side area very peaceful and well kept will visit again also having milk and coffee there on arrival was nice .

The Manor House is beautiful and comfortable. The room we stayed in was very large with a large bathroom. The place was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The lady who owns the house was so friendly and welcoming and her family are delightful. The breakfast was excellent.

This manor guest house was in a great location, lovely and cosy, everything you needed was there. Breakfast was delicious, hosts are welcoming, helpful and friendly. Local pub, the blacksmith Arms did a good selection of food at cheap prices (well recommended)

The breakfast was nice and simple, lots of options. They do cooked breakfast and cereal. I had poached eggs which were nice. The room was comfy, with a TV and I had an en suite. All clean. The parking is round the back of the property and feels safe. I was able to leave my car there. The village is a quiet place. The dining room is pleasant to eat in

We booked three of the five apartments at Nydsley Hall (The Grande Suite, The Lodge and The Penthouse) for a couple of nights for a friends get together. All three apartments were immaculate, modern furniture and fittings and really spacious. Plenty of room for us to socialise in one of the apartments even with 11 of us in total. The apartments are located close to the centre of Patelely Bridge and look across the meadow along the river. A really lovely setting and was perfect for our trip. Perhaps a bit more expensive than a typical holiday rental but you certainly get what you pay for here.

Fantastic location and a great space! We spent 6 nights in the Terrace Suite and we'll be back again if we are in the area. The apartment is roomy with extremely comfortable beds and a great living room to relax in in the evenings. The kitchen is well designed with great amenities. We cooked in multiple dinners and the kitchen had just about everything we needed. It's also quite quiet in the evenings and we slept like the dead while we were there. The high street and its shops and restaurants are just steps away and multiple walks can be accessed right out the door of the building. Just what we were looking for!

Was a lovely weekend ,site was so.peaceful and relaxing no better way to have got engaged with that view I will remember it forever, we defo be back .have a fantastic time, the hottub was amazing and the lights set it off. Romantic night

So much heart went into decorating our carriage and the hottub really just made it the perfect couple retreat.

Bloody brilliant! , no messing about straight in hottub was hot ready for use, had a visit from Bobby 🐱 we had him sat with us all evening , really good experience bed was comfy and everything was clean and easy to use.

Beautiful area, the woodfire hottub was amazing loved that it had a privacy screen around it. Bottle of fizz and a bag of sweets on arrival. The compost toilet was novel to use didn't smell which was a bonus.

We had a great stay with our 2 dogs. Love the fenced off area so dogs could safely walk around when we were in the hot tub. Hottub fantastic! Cabin had everything we needed inside. super cosy & great view of the animals. Host super welcoming! Loved the recommendations of places to eat etc. Hope to visit again.

I loved the little touches in the room and the complimentary things. I also liked the peace and quiet around the area and a beautiful view watching the trains go by as we will sitting in the jacuzzi. I really loved it and the room was amazing I would definitely come here again and definitely stay the night.

Excellent communication about our visit with the owner Mike. He was there waiting for us on arrival. The room was well appointed with ensuite shower attached. Tea and coffee supplied in the room along with snacks that were replaced daily. The room shares a separate terrace with table, chairs and umbrella. Perfect location along the Waterside and under the viaduct close to cafés and pubs. Mike also gave us a list of eating places where we could get a discount for being a customer of Teardrop Cottage. Continental breakfast was lovely with lots of fresh fruits, tea, coffee, juice, toast, cereals, pastries, cheeses, yogurts and meats. Short walk up the hill into town but definitely worth it as lots of eateries, bars and the castle as well as Mother Shiptons cave just over the river. Easy to catch a train to Harrogate for a day out as station is 5 mins walk away. A very enjoyable stay and would definitely book again.

Everything about the cottage was amazing, the bed was comfy, the bathroom amazing, sat out on the roof terrace, amazing views , all the small details made it so special, from the tea tray with hot chocolate and mini marshmallows , to the bath robe and toiletries, everything felt luxurious, breakfast was only a short walk away , such a relaxing break , staff were super friendly as well 😀

Absolutely superb! We booked the room with the hot tub and it was a really lovely spacious room, very neatly kept, beautiful decor and the hot tub in January was so lovely and relaxing after a day walking. We hadn’t planned to have breakfast but Mike said we would enjoy it so we accepted and it was a very nice breakfast of cereals with the freshest fruits you can get and yogurts or milk, then toast or fresh croissants, also there was continental meats and individual cheeses, we definitely had a good breakfast with a pot of coffee and fresh orange juice. We also spend a couple of hours in the lounge enjoying a bottle of wine and playing scrabble, very relaxing after walking. We definitely would love to stay here again.

The location is amazing. View from shared terrace is lovely. Parking at the side of the property was great. We had an early check-in. Mike was very helpful and brought us some chairs through so we could sit at the front of the property for the best view of the bed race. The little touches were brilliant, binoculars, games, books. Bottled water coffee tea hot chocolate, biscuits, and chocolate all replenished each day. Fan in room and docking station, blankets for use on the terrace. Use of iron and ironing board to name just a few. Jeanette ensured we didn't run out of anything and was very friendly and helpful.

We had a lovely time while staying at Hollins Farm. We arrived after check-in due to our booking at The Forbidden Corner being quite late in the day, but Rachael was fantastic and sent us videos ahead of our arrival with all of the info that we needed to get comfortable immediately. The pod was perfectly spacious enough for the 3 of us (2 adults and 1 child) for the 4 nights that we stayed there. The beds were comfy, the pod was warm, dry, and immaculate, and it was kitted out with everything we needed. There is so much to do nearby, too, so we will have to return to do all of the extra things that we ran out of time for on this trip! We had two fabulous days out in York (only 20 mins from the pod to the park and ride), where we enjoyed the chocolate tour (which was really interesting, amusing, and involved plenty of free samples...), the Jorvik museum (which was so good that we visited it twice!) and a visit to the Teddy bear shop. We did so many other York things besides this; there are too many to write them all!! We also visited the local caves (about 45 min drive away) and the Leeds Puttstars on the third day, which was another full-on day of fun for all three of us. If you're looking for a warm, comfortable, clean place to stay with self-catering accommodation, friendly hosts, lovely views, and lots of fun/interesting things to do within a 1hr drive of your accommodation, then Hollins Farm is perfect!

Fantastic communication throughout, told them it was an anniversary trip for my friend and they added a card and small deco. The place was immaculate, cleaned to a very high standard. Bedding and fresh towels with complimentary shower items and also fresh eggs, selections of tea, sugar coffee milk biscuits and jams. They have a manual with so many helpful things in down to local pubs, days out doctors and vets, even takeaway. The place is kitted out with everything you will need to stay there. Each lodge has there own decking area with seating and a garden and the areas all around the lodge are very well kept. The pub is about a 30min walk down a bridal track from the lodge and the locals are so friendly it serves beautiful food, the staff are so helpful and is so nice to sit for a couple of hours. The beds are very comftable, they do allow pets but we didn't have any with us on our trip, but they was no evidence at all of a single pet hair or anything, even the blankets by the door ( which came in lovely for evening sitting outside) were so fresh and pet free. There is an electric bbq which is a lovely addition especially as we had some sunny days. We stayed in monarch lodge, Racheal and her family were so polite and helpful, nothing was to much they went above and beyond. We had the best 3 day stay and will defiantly be back.

We stayed in the cabin Meghan for a five night break over Easter and can highly recommend it. With a Superb location, fantastic views and plenty to do in the nearby towns, and is of course in a prime location between the North York Moors and the Yorkshire Dales. On arrival to the cabin it definitely has the wow factor and is very clean and modern and has everything you could need for a stay. The cabin is warm and cosy with a nice view over the nearby fields to the town beyond which looks beautiful in the sun rise and sun set. To the right of the cabin is a gate which will take you through the county tracks to the local town pub which is quiet and serves great home cooked food. Will definitely be back!

The pods were great - clean, comfortable modern and really well equipped. Plenty of space and obviously very well thought out. The kids loved the little bunk beds! The location is lovely, we were there in thick mist in February but the view would be great in the summer! Very close to Knaresborough which is well worth a visit. Rachael is a very attentive and helpful host. We stayed as two families and rented both lodges which worked really well.

Breakfast was delicious. Served from 08:00 which is good for work travellers. Breakfast arrived with sumptuous stuffed croissants and my choice of poached eggs on focaccia with Parma ham was perfect and plentiful. The staff were efficient and friendly and a perfect level of interaction. The room was super clean and modern. Bed really comfortable along with the pillows. Good walk in shower with lots of room. And the usual teas coffees and homemade biscotti in jars was a real treat after a long drive. Also a mini fridge with fresh milk and water was much appreciated. The evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. I'll stay again when working in the area. Residents parking on site was great to find.

Valentino's is an exceptional find, right in the heart of Ripon, (with parking), but tucked away in a quiet corner. The room was modern, clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfy, and we had a good nights sleep both nights we were there. The food is simply amazing on the two nights !!! We could only manage a shared starter and main course as the portions were generous, We saw some people eating three courses... impressive! Every mouthful was delicious, I didn't want the meal to end. Breakfast was just as good, a far cry from the usual (sometimes sad) full English, with interesting choices, all of them wonderful. Cannot recommend highly enough. Every member of staff we met was welcoming, polite and friendly, what a lovely place.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly as soon as we walked through the door to check in. The room was freshly refurbished and modern and spotlessly clean. Excellent facilities in the room with free onsite parking just outside the door. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal which was delicious and excellent value and we had breakfast the next morning which was included and had some lovely choices along with juices, pastries and as much luxury coffees or tea to satisfy anyone. There was no rush over breakfast and again the staff were attentive and friendly. The accommodation is right in the centre of Ripon and I will definitely be returning.

Beautiful hotel room .Cozy warm very clean.with ensuite. The food in the restaurant was amazing very tasty fresh plenty of flavour. But no hotel and restaurant is complete without it's amazing team , all members of staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hope too return in the future

We were greeted on arrival and shown to our room by lovely friendly staff. The room was modern,spotlessly clean with tea, coffee,fresh milk, and water in the fridge. The bed was huge,comfortable, as were the pillows. The breakfast was amazing and plentiful, with as much juice, tea, or coffee as you required. Our waiter, Liam, was a lovely, pleasant, and very polite young man a credit to Valentinos. We also had an evening meal, again, the food was delicious and plentiful with excellent, lovely attentive staff. We would highly recommend this place, and have already booked to return. 😃.

Exceptional.First a very warm,friendly welcome. Richard carried our bags to room. Room although compact, was immaculately clean and comfortable. En-suite perfect, hot shower, hand wash and shower gel provided. Heating very efficient. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast ,great selection of fresh fruits cereals yoghurt etc. Main course great choice freshly cooked,wonderful homemade sausages and poached eggs. Our order remembered from first day especially lots of extra toast.Nothing is any trouble for them. Richard and Judy were very friendly homely and knowledgeable, giving us lots of recommendations for places to visit and also eat in the evening. They were happy to talk at breakfast but didn’t overtalk. Richard and Judy and their accommodation are absolute gems. Would definitely return and recommend to everyone.

Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of both cooked and uncooked food. Fresh fruit and different yogurts available as well as cereals. Good selection of hot drinks. Plenty of room on the table for smart cutlery and tableware in comfortable relaxing room. Hosts very helpful and welcoming without being overbearing. Room was well furnished with the most comfortable bed, crisp white bedding and great pillows. We slept well. Shower room en suite with soft white towels and good fan. TV worked well. Really convenient for the centre of Harrogate but still in a quiet position. Parking on the road outside with a permit provided by hosts was no problem.

Breakfast was delicious great choice of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, and little extras like crumpets and streaky bacon was on the menu. The hosts Richard & Judy were great, very friendly and welcoming and made you feel at home. The beds were comfy and the room was nice and clean and compact for our 2 night stay. The shower was lovely and warm although not very powerful but that didnt bother us as the water was warm. Great location in the centre of Harrogate close to all pubs and restaurants and on street parking, would highly recommend

The breakfast was superior, everything you could have wanted and more. Plenty of choice - fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, toast, jam, full hot breakfast menu and everything cooked to individual taste/dietary requirements. I had the sourdough bread with avocado and poached egg twice. It was exceptional and eggs cooked to perfection. Richard and Judy couldn't have done enough for us, they were excellent hosts and provided all the information we needed for our stay in Harrogate. We were even provided with a parking permit so we could park our car in the street outside. Bedroom was perfect, tea and coffee facilities and rooms cleaned & tidied every day. Beds very comfortable and no traffic noise so slept very well. Bathroom was clean and shampoo/body wash provided. We had an excellent stay and would definitely stay again.

Lovely choice of cereals, granola, fresh fruit and yogurt. Good choice of cooked breakfast, using fresh quality products and cooked beautifully. Accommodation spotless and comfy.Location perfect for walking around Harrogate and to train and bus station.. Plenty to do in area and hosts very helpful, warm and welcoming.

Absolutely beautiful place. Setting was perfect. We were warmly greeted by Nicky who directed us to our room. Nicky was so friendly every time we saw her. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Views were stunning with cows and sheep in the field in front of our window. Tea, coffee , biscuits and a sweetie jar were replenished everyday. Shower was hot and powerful. Fresh towels provided. Breakfast was delicious (lovely sausages) All breakfast staff were very kind and friendly, took time to chat and ask about our visit. Everything was absolutely perfect for our visit to the emmerdale tour and finding this amazing place made our visit to the area special Thank you all at Chevin guest house We will return and recommend you to everyone.

An exceptionally warm and friendly welcome to a clean, tidy and well-run guest house. The rooms are spacious (without being cavernous), very clean and contain all the expected amenities. The view from the window and the outside balcony is exceptional. We particularly liked that all the bed linen and towels are spotlessly clean white and I have never slept as soundly on a bed that wasn't my own 🙂 A full English breakfast is available in front of a roaring log fire in the dining room and other breakfast options are available.

I would definitely recommend The Chevin End guest house , the rooms are spotless , comfortable and with an amazing view . Breakfast is delicious and fresh . Coffee is good . The proprietors are friendly and helpful . I would Stay again

We had finished visiting friends in a small village about an hour away, and were headed home to the States the next day. The Chevin guesthouse was a perfect option for getting to the LBA airport the next day. We stayed in room 13, which was actually in a barrack on the property, so not the actual guesthouse. Still, it was a very clean and quiet room, and had everything we needed to get a hot shower and a nice night's sleep. The view from our back door/window was peaceful and beautiful. Nikky was helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed a good basic breakfast the morning before we left. We could have enjoyed a full breakfast that was offered, but we didn't have the time. Nikky provided us a number for a taxi service, and the trip to LBA airport was less than 15 minutes. We'd defintely stay here again if/when we visit our pals.

Amazing attention to detail, extremely well appointed room, beautiful and tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Not just blackout curtains but interlined too! Lovely Nespresso coffee maker, fresh milk. Great air conditioning. Liked the separate loo and bathroom. Delicious food, dinner and breakfast. Warm and cosy restaurant, beautiful tableware. Lovely friendly staff, made us feel very welcome. Great that there is a lift so no worries about negotiating stairs for elderly or anyone with mobility issues

Not really one to do this often but the Lime Inn blew me away with its friendliness,cleanliness and attentive staff I just had to leave feedback straight away Room was so well appointed very clean with lovely little touches, tray of nice teas and coffee with home made biscuits, robes gorgeous smelling shower gel and hand wash, little jug of fresh milk left at door for early morning cuppa Nice to have a hotel bathroom for once where the lights illuminate the mirror properly(wife’s pet hate at most places) Took our little pug too who had treats there for her and her own bed provided. Rob the host and chef was brilliant Shared his recipe tips with my wife (pickled cucumber to die for) He’s so hard working too, morning and night along with his staff Our evening meal was fabulous I had scampi with crayfish salad …amazing Wife had a burger that was cooked perfectly Breakfast was great too The staff were all attentive, nothing too much trouble Finally have to say thank you for one of the most enjoyable nights away we’ve had Don’t go anywhere twice but we may well break the habit

We cannot think of anything that could improve our experience. The décor, finish and style of the room and facilities was perfect -a beautiful, calm environment, in a peaceful gorgeous setting. How wonderful that the accessible room was so beautiful and perfectly planned for our needs. Breakfast was amazing, fresh, artisan, fabulous ingredients beautifully prepared and presented. We also had an evening meal which was totally delicious, again freshly individually prepared, wonderful. We cannot think of anything that could make our stay more perfect. All staff were friendly, professional and lovely. They were all so concerned that our stay was wonderful, and it was!

The Lime Tree in is outstanding; everything is just about perfect. The staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. The accommodation is furnished to a very high spec. Our room had a large comfortable bed, stunning bathroom and a variety of tea, coffee and freshly baked cookies. The food in the restaurant is amazing, on a par with any Michelin starred restaurant. I would stay at The Lime Tree in a heartbeat should I return to the area.

The accommodation was exceptionally comfortable, clean and up-to-date. The renovations apparently took place in 2020 but everything felt new. Room and ensuite were spacious, well appointed and with high quality linen. The hotel is also an inn and it was moderately busy in the evening while we stayed there, but we were not disturbed at all by any sounds from the bar/restaurant. Car park is spacious. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of dishes. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room itself was really really nice, decor was just to our taste, clearly a lot of time and effort spending on the little touches. The restaurant area was also superb, the room and restaurant matched well. The room was super clean, bed was huge and super comfortable, nice to have the balcony with the lodge room looking over the garden. Shower was lovely, huge towels, nice little touches in the bathroom too. Breakfast service was excellent, lots of choice, fresh food, pastries, yoghurts, fruit salads, smoothies, cereal and lots of hot food options, was very enjoyable and tasty! Food in the restaurant in the evening was great, fast service, tasty and staff where great! Overall, we had a fabulous stay, if we visit the area again we would always stay here!

Superb Inn. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Accommodation was first class. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. The only thing that was missing was a USB charging point for our phone, but we can bring an adapter next time we stay. Breakfast was great. Service at breakfast was particularly good and the young chap who served us was very professional, welcoming, and couldn't have been more helpful, even remembering what our preferences were from the previous day. We had dinner on one night of our stay and it was delicious. Would definitely stay here again when next in the area.

Stunning country Inn with free parking for patrons. Beautiful bar and dining rooms. Serves lunch and evening meals and has log burners with a wonderful garden area. Spacious but cosy rooms. Comfy beds, my room had a large bathroom with a full-size bath. Tea, coffee and biscuits in room. Hairdryer, loads of TV channels, commentary bathing items. Situated on an A-road but really well sound proofed. I had a perfect sleep! Breakfast to die for! Some 'help yourself' items like juice, smoothies, yoghurt, cereal, pastries etc.. plus a VERY impressive breakfast menu with waitress service. I had smoked haddock with poached egg.. it was amazing! Full Yorkshire breakfast and many other choices available. Highly recommended, just book you will not be disappointed.

Had a one night stay so we could visit Ripon, so excellent location. Room was a standard double, exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed so had an excellent sleep and was cosy and warm. All extras available, hair dryer, fan, and toiletries all provided, even shower caps and cotton buds! Shower was a waterfall shower which was really nice and even had a rack to put toiletries on which was so handy as having a bad back I find it hard to bend. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, plenty of choice and good quality produce. Staff were all friendly and professional, we had a good check in and a really nice goodbye. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Brilliant stay. Spotlessly clean room in a peaceful location. Beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious as were our evening meals. Great range of drinks . Lovely bar and restaurant areas. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great dog friendly place with every need catered for . Brilliant range of dog treats. Lovely grounds too . Can't wait to visit again.

Immaculate. The information received about the property was extensive and prompt. We were upgraded to Apartment D, a two bedroom apartment. The self check in was straightforward. The apartment was superbly presented. Very clean and tidy. The furniture stylish, modern and comfortable. Parking was provided. Free and just outside the front door. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the evening sunshine in a private area. Wonderfully peaceful and quiet. Location perfect. Far enough away from town to be quiet but close enough to walk to town in ten minutes. The small touches inside of toiletries and refreshments was lovely. A perfect short stay.

Our one bed apartment was amazing (apt 8, Kings Rd). Spotlessly clean, fantastic bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower, water pressure amazing. Well equipped kitchen including dishwasher, oven and microwave and all the usual utensils etc, (managed to cook a full Xmas dinner), comfy living space. Smart tv in living area and the cosy bedroom with comfortable bed. They even provide a washing machine. Free parking a few minutes walk away. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay over Xmas and look forward to returning again soon. Top place and would highly recommend.

The property is situated in a beautiful, quiet road. ( Duchy Road ) Very well maintained. A bathroom with a toilet and also a separate toilet was very handy. Shower and bath. Exceptionally clean. Comfortable bed. Good quality bedding. Beautifully decorated. Good choice of complimentary teas and coffees. Our apartment was situated round the back of the property and was down some steps which meant it was very private and extremely quiet. Couldn’t hear a thing so perfect for those wanting a peaceful getaway. Close to the centre of town. We would most definitely stay here again.

I booked this as a surprise birthday for my boyfriend for one night. The owners/managers are absolutely fantastic they prepared balloons and banners for me prior to arrival. The apartment itself is modern, spotless, cosy lighting and the bed is the most comfortable bed ever. Location wise you are literally in walking distance of restaurants, pubs and cocktail bars. The Turkish baths are about a 5 minute walk away. Parking is also included at the other building again about a 10 minute walk into town just around the corner from the Cairn Hotel. For the price is it the best accommodation in Harrogate you’ll find in terms of decor, comfort etc

The property was absolutely stunning!!! We stayed during the storm and I would have been happy to stay in all weekend. It was clean, contemporary and cosy! Amazing location to restaurants and bars, highly recommend Christie’s on the corner. Staff were amazing. Bed was so comfy and the apartment was finished beautifully!!

We had a lovely stay at the Fountains Guest House. The Guest House was near to the town and also very near to the Conference Centre. The Host was very friendly and helpful . The bedroom was clean, warm and comfortable with seats in the bay window so that we could people watch.The shower had a great rainfall shower head. The breakfast was tasty with a good selection of cereals, yogurt and hot food. There was also a house keeping service which we weren’t expecting so we never went short of tea, coffee and biscuits in the room. Couldn’t fault anything and will definitely visit again.

The room was comfortable and warm with good facilities. Fresh milk was available from the lounge in a flask. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was very good with ample tea/coffee and toast. The owner served breakfast and was very friendly and helpful. We were contacted regularly with entry instructions and other information. Perfect location for the centre. Good parking facilities to the rear of the house

It was an easy access, good communication with us via e-mails. The building is very nice, spacious and clean. We had room 4 (deluxe) it was very nice, with modern stylish bathroom and big comfy bed. Liked the honesty bar idea downstairs. And fresh milk was available from the fridge too for our coffee. Breakfast selection was lovely, cooked breakfast was very good too.

Tea, Coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits Staff very friendly and welcoming, informative. Breakfast was really tasty, good selection. Loved the free individual flasks of milk we could get from the fridge. Also liked having the option to purchase bottled water & soft drinks. Liked the fact the locks were digital so didnt need a key or keycard to carry around. Very close to walk to bars ,restaurants & the Park. Easy access online to talk to someone when we had a blip with the radiator being cold. very quickly sorted and fixed.

Beautiful quiet location yet accessible for A1 and other locations. Such a friendly and welcoming reception on arrival plus complimentary drink. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable (bed ok but I find all hotel beds hard). Bathroom modern and clean. Dined in hotel restaurant and good was outstanding just be aware all has Asian influences. Breakfast was fabulous lots of menu choice or have it your own way plus all continental options. Dined in bar too where food was more simple but equally delicious. All staff we met were warm, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Also had a massage in spa which again was faultless. Walk suggestions available from reception. Couldn’t recommend more highly and we will definitely return. If only all hotels are like this!

We had just finished a 2 week tour of Scotland and Ireland and stayed over for 3 days to visit with friends in Yorkshire. I searched online for a place about halfway between Leeds-Bradford and Boston Spa and found Wood Hall. I checked out the reviews and description and selected it. It was absolutely perfect for us to relax and rest up before our long flight back home. The remote countryside locale and the wonderful ambiance of the restored mansion made a powerful first impression. We arrived a little early to check in but the hostess made us comfortable in the drawing room and served us complimentary tea and biscuits while we waited a short time. That was just the beginning of a truly memorable visit and by far the most comfortable accommodations we had the entire trip. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was excellent, the room was large and warmly comfortable. Our friends came to dinner the first evening and were profoundly impressed. There were 2 large weddings during our stay but no intrusion on our comfort, quietness or service by the staff. We enjoyed the spacious facilities and grounds and the scenic overlook from the front of the hotel. The décor and furnishings in every area created a wonderful atmosphere of rich quality without being over the top. We looked forward each day to enjoying a friendly relaxed sense of welcome peace and goodwill among the staff and fellow guests. In many ways, we regretted having to leave and return home but hope to return.

Off the beaten track but well worth the detour to enjoy our wedding anniversary. As we found ourselves "up north" we decided to try to find a quiet hotel with a touch of luxury and good cuisine. The Wood Hall ticked the box. The room, bay window view over the rolling grounds, was well furnished with comfy bed and loungers. Lovely clean bathroom. But without doubt the best bits were the welcoming staff. Always around if and when needed, happy to try to please. Nice to hear local accents too. Dinner was perfect and the spread for breakfast, vast and delicious. Good choices of wines beers and spirits albeit that they were a little top end. But, hey, the event was a celebration! We had been welcomed with complimentary drinks, fed and well looked after. If we had booked in for a second night we would also have been able to enjoy the local walks and the spa facilities. Unfortunately we had to head south. Thank you Wood Hall. We shall return.

From the moment we arrived, our stay at Grantley hall was nothing short of magical. We were celebrating our anniversary, and every single detail made us feel special, pampered, and genuinely cared for. The welcome from Isaac was warm and welcoming upon arrival at the gates, Checked in and shown to our cosy room by a lovely young man called Kevin..again very welcoming. ( the bed was very comfortable and the pillows were amazing , like perfect fluffy clouds) The amenities were brilliant, We indulged in the spa (easily one of the best massages we’ve ever had), lounged by a tranquil pool with attentive staff, and dined at the hotel’s fine restaurant, where the service was flawless and the food divine—elegant, flavorful. Also they have the best no alcohol drinks I've come across , the non-alcoholic sparkling wine was delicious ! Every member of the staff we encountered was professional, friendly, and truly passionate. It’s clear that this hotel doesn’t just provide luxury—it provides an experience. Everything ran smoothly, and every request was met with a smile. We left feeling relaxed, cherished, and already talking about when we can return. We recently enjoyed a truly wonderful dinner at Nortons in Grantley Hall, and it’s safe to say we were blown away. Having previously missed the chance to dine here, it genuinely felt like coming home – warm, welcoming, and incredibly special. The highlight of the evening, beyond the excellent food, was the impeccable service. Camille, our sommelier, was outstanding – calm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us through the wine pairings with ease and charm. Ryan, our server, was equally impressive – attentive without being intrusive, and always one step ahead. We were so taken with the atmosphere during our meal that we decided to extend our stay at Grantley Hall – a decision that turned out to be a brilliant one. We were kindly upgraded and the room was absolutely fabulous. Beautifully designed with high-quality finishes throughout, it made the experience all the more memorable. Breakfast the following morning was a little on the slow side, but well worth the wait. Everything was fresh, well-prepared and delicious. An exceptional evening and a very special stay – we can’t wait to return.

From the initial warm welcome and the amazing grounds, we knew we were in for a treat. Celebrating a birthday during our stay, the staff went above and beyond. A room upgrade, birthday messages and cards, fizz and chocolates, we were blown away! We had a lovely lunch in Fletchers, cocktails in the Orchard (a whispering angel girl’s dream), dinner at Eightyeight (duck pancakes and the cauliflower side are a must!) Our after dinner espresso martinis in the main bar were the best we’ve ever had. The room we had was gorgeous with incredible views, the little touches like the pillow and robe menu, Bvlgari toiletries, complementary damson gin and turndown service were very much appreciated. We opted for a room service breakfast after the seed was planted in our heads with the menu delicately placed next to our pillows after we returned from dinner. The next morning we were greeted by a lovely lady at the time we had requested and of course, our spread was placed perfectly with all elements hot, fresh and super! The three graces spa was indeed a highlight of our trip too and we cannot wait to return back here for another stay, but this time for longer!! A few days ago, we visited Grantley Hall for afternoon tea, and it was absolutely brilliant! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Isaac, who was formal yet friendly. His initial welcome set the professional tone for the entire staff. As we settled in, we had a lovely conversation with Akef, whom we’ve met many times before. As always, he was amazing! He not only reassured us about our family’s allergies but also took the time to engage in conversation with us, even going into detail about the delicious food we were given. One of our personal favourites was the freshly baked scones! Another honourable mention is Eduardo, one of our servers. He truly upholds the name of Grantley Hall to a high standard. Like the rest of the staff, he was extremely attentive and polite, making it an overall great experience. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we want to express our gratitude to the staff for making it so special. We also wanted to mention Ava, who helped me organise a gift voucher at the front desk. It was very helpful, and we appreciated the friendly smile!
