Our room, with a small veranda overlooking the colonnade, was impeccably clean, the bed was huge but very cosy and comfortable. We enjoyed the luxury of a bath (with shower facilities) and wallowed in the luxurious toiletries provided by the hotel.. The breakfast buffet was superb with a wide range of choices, all beautifully presented, that tasted delicious. We had dinner at the hotel in two occasions and once again could not fault it. Great menu and attentive service at a very reasonable price. So thank-you everyone at Hotel Romance.. we had a wonderful stay…

Everything was awesome. The room was spacious, super clean, comfortable and cool thanks to the AC. Breakfast was great with many options. Staff were nice and welcoming. You must try their restaurant lunch/dinner. I highly recommend trying the asparagus and/or potato soup. they have delicious options and we ate there almost every day. not to mention it has a nice view from the it's balcony.

The stylish romantic hotel was a great choise, it was comfortable, clean, staff was very helpful, friendly, free Wifi worked well, cleaning services available every day. The extra large bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a pleasant floor heating. Buffet breakfast offered until 10.30am had a variety of choises. Hotel has a great location, close to the central Hot Spring Vridlo, all attractions are in walking distance. For further places is a nearby city bus stop, tickets can be purchased in bus by card or by the driver.

I stayed at Hotel Romance during the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and it was pure magic from start to finish! The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of the spa zone, just a short stroll from the colonnade and festival action. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful (even when I needed coffee before being fully human). My room was spotless, cozy, and full of little touches that made me feel truly cared for. Breakfast? A buffet of dreams! Hotel Romance lives up to its name – charming, peaceful, and with just the right amount of elegance. Already dreaming of coming back next year, this time with friends and kids in tow!

Our stay was amazing, we even extended to 3 nights. It’s located central and the properties are amazing. Beautiful spa area with pools, jacuzzi, saunas and steam bath. Amazing breakfast and dinner buffet, it’s definitely worth it and if you book the dinner on the reception it just costs 30€ per person. The staff was helpful and the service was outstanding.

For my birthday, I booked 2 nights with breakfast at a 5-star hotel. The hotel was much more than I expected, even though I knew that the hotel was not in the center, near a supermarket or a pharmacy or the bus station, I actually preferred to choose it because the location was really very beautiful and in an area with beautiful historical buildings and a minute walk to the funicular that leads to the mountain viewpoint and a few more minutes walk to the main avenue and the famous places in the old city and there is bus line number 2 so there was no problem getting to the hotel or for those who are interested, there is a taxi nearby. The hotel staff was very kind, the room I got was very beautiful with a view of the hotel's garden but because the room was on the 7th floor I also saw the surrounding green mountains and I even had a balcony. The room was equipped with everything and more that I needed. The breakfast was among the most varied I have ever had and the selection was large in every respect and of very high quality. I used the hotel's large, enclosed spa complex, which has a large regular pool, a jacuzzi, a small pool with geothermal water, saunas of different types and temperatures, and more, a real experience. I recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to spend a moment like in a palace and really be pampered.

The Carlsbad Plaza Medical Spa and Wellness Hotel is located at the very beginning of the original “Hot Springs District” of Karlovy Vary. It is a five-star superior resort hotel and was an outstanding stay for my wife and I. It must be listed as one of the best Medical Spa and Wellness Resorts in all of Karlovy Vary as during our six days stay, we stopped by many of the other Hot Springs Hotel’s, and none could match the size and number of therapies offered by the: Carlsbad Plaza Medical Spa and Wellness Hotel. Our check-in was fast and professional, and we were given a Garden Room, which had access to a smoking area within the considerable size garden. On our first morning we had set up our doctor’s consultation session and we noted all the therapies she suggested for both my wife and I. So that same afternoon we started what became the most enjoyable part of our entire stay. Our therapies included the following: CO2 Bath Treatment; Oxygen Therapy; Classic Massage; Reflex Massages, etc. They also had a large Hot Spring Pool, with two types of Jacuzzi Tubs and a typical Steam Room. Each morning, we enjoyed a large Breakfast Buffet, which had a wide assortment of foods and drinks. The Carlsbad Plaza is a short two-minute walk to the famous Karlovy Vary Promenade. If you are looking for a fantastic Health Spa and Wellness Center you need not look any further and simply book your next stay at the Carlsbad Plaza, you will not be sorry, trust me…

Our family holiday in Karlovy Vary was simply perfect, mainly thanks to this amazing hotel! Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were extremely accommodating and helpful during the entire stay. We felt truly welcomed and treated like royalty. The hotel offers not only beautiful rooms that are cozy, clean and spacious, but also perfect services. Our teenage daughters enjoyed the wellness and activities together. However, what appealed to us the most was the attitude of the staff. If you are looking for a place where you will feel pampered, in a safe and friendly environment, this hotel is the right choice. Karlovy Vary is beautiful in itself, but this hotel added a unique charm to our trip. We will definitely be happy to come back here! ❤️

A very convenient location on a quiet street, a ten-minute walk from the center. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and varied. The hotel has a spa with a pool. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. There is convenient on-site parking that needs to be booked in advance.

We really enjoyed our stay at this place. It’s very nice, clean, and has a charming atmosphere. The rooms are cozy and spacious, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is great and varied. We also enjoyed the nice spa area, especially the whirlpool. The surroundings are quiet, with a forest nearby. We stayed in the Annex building, so we had to walk to the main building nearby for the spa and breakfast, but we were aware of this in advance, so it wasn’t a problem. The villa is situated at the top of a hill, so reaching it from the center may be bit challenging for some due to the many stairs. However, it wasn’t an issue for us.

The buffet both for breakfast and dinner was rich and diverse. We also liked the spa area. The staff was friendly and helpful, when we asked them for additional towels, they were delivered to our room almost immediately.

Great location. Very convenient to the colonnade. Clean comfortable hotel, larger than it looks from the outside. Very good breakfast buffet with a variety of food. Hotel offers little extras like herbal teas, coffee and infused water available in the comfortable lounge, which makes the stay more enjoyable. Nice spa with several saunas, steam rooms relaxation areas. The hotel staff is very accommodating.

The Property is well maintained and we had a very large room with a balcony and beautiful view. The breakfast was extensive and well prepared. The highlight of the trip was the reception staff who checked us in. He was by far the most hospitable, kind helpful and welcoming person I've ever met in all my travels. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I was traveling with my friend and we booked one room with twin beds. However, we got one room, split into two small rooms. Both of the smaller rooms had a separate balcony, table, chairs, etc. The room was amazing, looking modern and the beds very comfortable with an amazing view directly to the colonnade. The breakfast was very rich with all types of food.

At the top floor sauna, small swimming pool and jacuzzi are available from 9:00 till 20:00. Sauna is open from 16:00. Breakfast & dinner are quite good. Majority of people were speaking Russian, Ukrainian and English.

I recently stayed at Richmond Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a beautiful park, surrounded by nature, which made for a peaceful and relaxing stay. Our room for three was spacious and comfortable, with a stunning view from the balcony. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. Special thanks to a kind staff member who assisted us with our meals due to health conditions – her help was greatly appreciated. The food was diverse and delicious, and we also enjoyed the well-maintained swimming pool. We got a lovely, big room with incredibly comfortable beds. The pool area is very clean and pleasant. The staff were all kind and attentive. Breakfast was enormous with a lot of variation. The hotel is situated near but still a little away from the crowds, in a beautiful park. We loved the hotel and actually added an extra night to our stay.

The hotel is in a beautiful location with an easy walk to the centre of Karlovy Vary. The interior is lavish and reminded me of a Wes Anderson film set. Spa area is well-maintained and pretty spacious. The staff is really welcoming and helpful.

The building is beautiful, the room was stylish and comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the spa was comfortable and luxurious. The entire staff was more than friendly. I came in late for the breakfast one morning, but a woman was friendly enough to bring up some bread, meats, and cheeses. Most rooms have balconies and the views are spectacular. It seems to be in one of the best locations in the city. Honestly, one of the nicest hotel experiences that I have ever had.

The building itself is amazing. Hotel has perfect location in the middle of the spa district. Breakfast was very nice with amazing view. There was everything I would love to eat for breakfast and some more. Very nice lady at the reception and charming coffee place in the ground floor of the hotel. I'm here for second time and next time I'm coming to Vary I'm staying here too.

Great location within Karlovy Vary, fantastic breakfast buffet and a tasteful room. The hotel's Atlantic theme is consistent and makes the stay interesting. I loved the shower. Nice, generous balcony with a great view of Karlovy Vary. TV had many programs in it but is too small for the room. 65 or 75" would be an appropriate upgrade that would also complement the spacious room better. Carpets didn't look very good anymore.

It was our second time in Karlovy Vary and we were looking for a special place with a view, located in the heart of the city and close to all the main points of interest. This hotel was lovely, bright, with large rooms, a fantastic position downtown and with very pleasant and welcoming staff. We loved our room on the third floor with a balcony. The bed was comfy and the bathroom also very large and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We have already started telling all of our family and friends about Hotel Thermal! We loved our stay. The room was comfortable with sufficient furniture, cozy bedding, and a nice balcony—we loved our view overlooking the river. Breakfasts were tasty and varied with robust options for many different diets— gluten-free, dairy free, Halal, vegetarian, and vegan options are all available. We loved the spa and spent nearly all of our time in saunas and whirlpools: unlimited access to the Finnish sauna, infrared sauna, steam room, 37 degree whirlpool, 28 degree swimming pool with jets, and Kneipp Path. We also enjoyed the included 2 hours per night per guest at Saunia World which guests can visit between 9:00–23:00 daily. We used one of our daily 2 hours on a night visit to the outdoor mineral pool with 180 degree views of Karlovy Vary. The other 2 hour allotment we used from 9:00-11:00 to visit the 6 different types of saunas. When we did emerge from from the spas, we were very pleased with the location of the hotel: 15 minute walking distance to the main bus terminal, 10 minute walking distance to multiple cafés and restaurants, right along the river. We loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Nice clean cozy rooms, wc separate from a shower, comfy large bed. You would even get a robe and slippers :) The location is in the middle of the old town, near to main attractions. Breakfast was several minutes walk to the main building, large variety of food and pretty good coffee. Also, we were offered a free access to spa, which we did not use because of lack of time

The place can not be better. The room was clean (except in low visibility areas like top of the bed frame etc.) In the room we had free coffee and tea, which we enjoyed in the balcony with the view. We also got slippers and robes. It is very nice that hotel have a tea lounge, which you can enjoy almost all day. The spa is also included in the price, it is not big, but enought to relax. Breakfast was ok, you have to go to another building for it (the same is for tea lounge and spa).

Rooms was as shown in the pictures. Very pretty and clean with coffee machine and coffee available to use. One of the room had a balcony with beautiful view. Very pretty bathrooms.

Glorious views of Karlovy Vary from this grande dame of a hotel which exudes its historical glamour - marble staircases, gilt, massive chandeliers- at every turn. Vast comfortable room with an immense bathroom. Superbly clean and well- maintained both in the structure and the gardens. We loved the funicular to town. The breakfasts were wonderful- very extensive and generous. Halfboard evening meal was also good with plenty of choice. The swimming pool is huge ( perhaps 20metres) for a hotel. Beds were very comfortable and there was loads of wardrobe space. Everything in the room worked properly.

A very cozy and secluded place — perfect for disconnecting from the outside world and enjoying nature. The atmosphere is truly calming, and it’s a great escape if you’re looking for peace and quiet. One thing I really appreciate is that the hotel is pet-friendly — it’s wonderful to be able to travel with your furry friend. That said, it would be even better if there was a designated, fenced-off area for dogs to walk and play. While many guests love animals, there are others who may feel uncomfortable or afraid, regardless of how friendly the dogs are. A small barrier would make it more comfortable for everyone. Overall, a lovely stay and would definitely return!

The staff who we dealt with were amazing, polite and attentive to us and our baby boy. We booked the romantic package (with a 7 month in tow) and the staff were extremely accommodating to our needs. They added a baby high chair for our "romantic dinner for 2" (and a half), they split our "couples massage" into 2 singles. We couldn't complain about anything at the property. Rooms and property were very clean and well presented.

Very elegant hotel with excellent facilities. The restaurant was great. We had half-board = dinner buffet and breakfast buffet. Wonderful selection of food that was very tasty. The room was comfortable, spacious, and elegant. We used the swimming pool, as well, which was large, clean, and in a bright room with access to an outdoor terrace. The location in the heart of the old hots springs town is just perfect. 200m from Hotel Pupp. We will definitely stay here again!

It was a wonderful place all over - location, service, rooms, interiors, clasically beautiful hotel... suite looking onto courtyard was so nice and comfortable, wide bathroom with gray marble with a calming effect, amazing breakfast... We specifically want to send our thanks to the gentlemen on the reception for his always calm, polite, helpful, and professional manner. It was evident that he cared about his job a lot. Price / return ratio of the hotel is also great. Recommended.

Very central in Jachymov which indeed is a small place. Very clean and comfortable rooms at a very good cost/benefit level. Affordable prices at the separate SPA that is also a serious establishment. If you want massage and extras the prices are normal. It is hard to find restaurants in Jachymow after 19-20 hours. However, after the buffet of the hotel finished, they made an effort to cook for us a la carte. The breakfast is good above average standard. It was for us a very positive surprise.

Overall a great hotel and friendly staffs. We arrived late around 11 pm and had smooth check-in. Our room had a breathtaking view from the balcony, which is definitely a plus. Sauna, swimming pool and whirlpool are in great condition and clean, in which we had a relax time during our stay. Breakfast was tasty with various choices.

Staff were very friendly and spoke various levels of English. Location was great. Facilities were good, especially the swimming pool, hot tub and sauna. Beds were comfortable and rooms were large. Water pressure of the shower was great. Breakfast was ok, not great but not bad either. Housekeeping was extremely friendly and helpful.

Everything was good in that hotel. The staff is very friendly, the room was clean and tall, the bathroom is shinning. Perfect for some time away to rest. I went there in low season (in the middle of winter), so there was not so much people around and that, maybe, changed my view of the hotel. We used the SPA services of the hotel (pool, whirlpool, massage) and it looked like it was only for us. I really don't know how it works on summer, but in winter worth the visit. The only problem is the parking. you can park in front of the hotel at your own risk, because you need special permission to do so. We needed to go to other hotel (in front) to ask to use their parking.

We found the hotel to be very comfortable and perfect for our requirements. There is a lift and stair access to the 3 floors.The rooms were sunny and clean - and well heated. We were very toasty considering it was -5 outside! They had a fridge also in them which was handy for chilling any food and drink we had bought locally too. Our rooms had a balcony overlooking the river flowing through Stara Louka, I would love to stay there in the warmer months, a perfect spot to chill on the balcony in the evenings with a nice glass of wine. Breakfast was a buffet served between 8am-10am with a satisfactory selection of breads, cheeses, cereal, etc. and a choice of hot and cold drinks. Check-in and breakfast are both at a neighbouring hotel, approx. 70m away but we did not find this an issue at all.

Super basic hotel. Clean room, clean bathroom, clean towels, clean sheets... bedbug free... little fridge in room, right in town. Three of us stayed for $60. Friendly, helpful staff. If you are just looking for a really basic, clean place to stay - this is it. Maybe bring a book and a deck of cards? Be sure to reserve parking.

Was a little dubious when booking as this hotel was really cheap for a central location.You have to check-in at Hotel Kucera 70m away as there is no reception at The Elefant but I knew this when booking.We booked four rooms & had no complaints about any of them.Basically furnished but we weren't going to be spending much time in them. Comfortable beds,TV ,fridge & telephone.Clean linen & towels,fantastically hot shower. Breakfast was in the Hotel Kucera down the road,may not to be everyones taste but you will find something to eat. All in all,great value for money for a Hotel in the centre of town. Check out coffee & cakes at Cafe Elefant,yummee,we visited every day.

Excellent Location with very good views from the windows, Very Comfortable and Spacious Apartment, Beautiflulky designed and well equipped, Having a reserved parking very close to the house, Having a good restaurant just below the building, Kind and assisting host, plus the exceptional hot bath tub!

The check in check out was super easy. Friendly contact and super helpful. Was really clean and cosy the apartment The location is great and restaurant of the building is top.

The apartment is located in a very central area, complete with shopping, dining and other facilities, clean and spacious, with a very good view from the window. The apartment has a fixed parking space on a nearby street, you need to apply to the landlord in advance if you want to use it, and the parking fee needs to be charged separately. The landlord is very enthusiastic, helped us a lot, and is very easy to deal with, can speak Czech, German and English.

This place is amazing and beautiful located right in the middle of the Karlovy Vary strip. Easily walkable to all destinations in the more touristy areas. A very large property with a kitchen, living room, 2.5 baths and a private bedroom. Great views from the apartment. I cannot recommend it enough. And the Manager Marco was very helpful and nice.

Very beautiful location, closely to Karlovy Vary, good possibility for travelers by a car. There are 4 hotels on big territory near golf club. The hotel is stylish and comfortable. Rooms are very clean, warm and plenty of light, equipped with capsule coffee machine and refrigerator. A bottle of mineral water is bonus. Spa is very clean, without chloride smell. It starts from 8 am, saunas starts from 4 pm up to 9 pm. There is complex of saunas and whirlpool, which are together with swimming pool have a panoramic mountain view. It's really great. The gym is also available from 8 am. A breakfast is various (cold and hot) and good choice of cheese :-) with opportunity to eat on the open terrace. The hotel is surrounded by golf fields, hills and wood. I can recommend for solo or couples, who really like comfort, silence and nature

Located in a quiet place, away from everything, excellent for a good rest. The spa and the breakfast buffet and were wonderful. The room was very spacious and the bed was very large and comfortable.

Everything. we loved our stay. The hotel was beautiful and the wellness amenities were great. The best thing though, was our dining experience. I believe Denisa is the name of the woman who was taking care of us. She was wonderful, her service was spot on and she took care to remember our preferences. She provided the best dining service I've experienced. I highly recommend adding the meal option to your booking. We did and we're delighted to learn that on top of our breakfast buffet, we also got a three course lunch as well as a three course dinner. Highly rated this hotel

It is a big hotel not far from the city, on a hill, in a very quiet and beautiful forest. We stayed in the Green House, in a small room. It is a normal hotel room with a bed and a small fridge. It was quite clean and nice. We had one night in this hotel with breakfast and spa access. The spa experience was very nice. There is a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. The spa complex works until 9.30 pm, and we could use it in the morning before breakfast as well. Breakfast was good, a big choice of food, everything is fresh, the staff of the hotel are very polite and nice. It was lovely to stay and a relaxing day after a busy Prague.

Very good location, just by the bus stop and by walking it is around 20 minutes to the old town area. You get free spa access - pool & saunas. Parking for an additional fee in the hotel territory. Nice bar, very good breakfast and dinner options.

The rooms were large and airy. We ate in the restaurant every night and the food was lovely and great value for money. Great location for our needs.

The staff was nice . It was warm. Some double rooms have a big bathroom, and some have a very small bathroom.
