We decided to take a trip to Killarney for the Easter bank holiday and we are so glad that we chose 'Brook Lodge Boutique.' 1) The location in the town is ideal. It's a very short walk to go explore, but in a quiet spot so we were able to relax too. 2) The bed was extremely comfy and the room very spacious. 3) We had the Jacuzzi suite and this addition was the icing on the cake. A great way to relax and unwind whilst on a 24hour Easter break. 4) I liked the decor and the old school phone in the room.

We stayed as a couple for one night B&B. On arrival there was ample private parking and we were greeted by a very friendly and professional receptionist who checked us in to room 104. The room is large , spotless clean and well equipped. The hotel is minutes walk away from centre of town so perfect location. Breakfast was top class with great buffet choice and excellent hot food served by a very friendly , personable and welcoming professional lady. We stayed in Killarney many times and it took until now to discover this gem of a hotel which we will definitely stay again in and highly recommend.

I stayed here with my sister and we were both so delighted that we chose Brook Lodge. We were suprised with prosecco on arrival, the receptionist was helpful, professional and so friendly. Our room was stunning, spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast the following morning was perfect, enough choice and the lady serving us was again, kind, friendly and professional. We will 100% stay again and I will be recommending Brook Lodge to my friends and family.

We had a great 2-day stay at Brook Lodge Boutique Hotel. Our room was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and clean. The bathroom has obviously been redone recently - modern & luxurious. Breakfast was very good with a continental buffet as well as ordered hot meals. The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive. They have their own parking lot. The location was great, with lots of restaurants and shops within safe walking distance. We woulddefinitely recommend this hotel.

Had a wonderful stay in this most convenient Killarney Hotel. Facilities & parking were top-notch. Breakfast was lavish - wonderful buffet selection of cereals, fresh fruits, juices & breads, cold meats & cheese selection, supplementing the hot options from the kitchen (full-Irish, etc.) - served in a lovely bright restaurant room, overseen by a most attentive & friendly hostess. Night porter was similarly helpful & friendly. And, a special word of appreciation to Adriana on reception, who went way beyond the call of duty for us to sort out a payment issue we were having in trying to use a One4All card to settle our account. She pulled out all the stops for us to get things sorted. All in all, we were really impressed by the level of service we experienced. We'll be back!

Stayed in International Hotel , Killarney , on sunday night last with three other friends. We were thrilled to be upgraded to executive rooms. We found staff to be extremely ,extremely, courteous, helpful and professional The decor had olde world charm but extremely modern too. Bedrooms - large , bright and well decorated as were bathrooms The jacuzzi bath an added bonus. Food - excellent and plenty of choices. Overall a wonderful experience that will be repeated. This is my favorite hotel on this trip to Ireland, it was luxurious, a big Jacuzzi tub, great food, so many restaurants within walking distance, that were just excellent, across from the outlet mall, walking distance to the main shopping district, and the room itself was such great bedding, and so quiet, I slept 12 hours without being woken up! It’s absolutely beautiful as well.

Beautiful lobby and decor throughout. Beds were comfy, lovely fluffy robes and slippers provided. Luxury toiletries also. The pool is nice with sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room. We had breakfast in cafe du park both mornings it was lovely. Location is perfect right in the heart of the town. free parking but when we arrived back on our second day it was full so had to park in the paid Parking lot. Staff at reception were very welcoming. Definitely recommend and will be staying again.

upon arrival we got upgraded from deluxe room to a suite so that was a good start anyway. good spacious room with very comfortable king size bed,jacuzzi bath was a bonus. very nice decor and very clean hotel with a nice homely feel. beautifully xmas tree in main reception and decorations throughout. very nice leisure centre also. will most certainly be back. perfectly situated also.

The staff were absolutely wonderful! My sister and I were treated so well. As young girls, we often find hospitality services don’t always treat us as valued customers, but the staff at this hotel exceeded our expectations. Lesley, in particular, was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the area, gave us some recommendations and really helped us set a vibe for our day. He’s a complete asset to the hotel, so personable and accommodating! The facilities were great, the pool, jacuzzi and sauna/steam rooms were such a treat. The pool area is low lit, so it’s calming and has a luxurious feel. The room was really nice, very classic Irish style. Bed and pillows were super comfy. The bar was lovely, we had lunch here one of the days and it was fabulous. The “Tipsy Lemonades” are unreal! The cocktails are phenomenal. We had some sent to our room, and they were flawless. The “Pamplemousses Spritz” is by far the best cocktail I’ve had! Breakfast was also great, amazing scrambled eggs and just overall a really good array of food options. The location is perfect. You can walk into the town easily or go for a lovely river walk in the National Park which is right next to the hotel.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The location was perfect as you can walk everywhere in the city center so no need to drive. You can easily walk to shops, ATM, National park and of course tons of pubs. I ate dinner in the hotel, albeit a smaller menu for a tour group, and it was great. The chicken was tender, fish and beef good with nice sauces, vegetables cooked perfectly and not rubbery and overcooked like some places due. Good dinner rolls and the pavlova for dessert was devine. The staff were fun and professional and very attentive to our needs. The breakfast buffet was good with some familiar foods that other hotels are serving: eggs, sausage, potatoes, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms and more. They had great tasting oatmeal/porridge with lots of toppings (raisins, cranberry, toasted coconut, toasted almonds, pepitas, and even more). Yogurts, cereal, fresh fruit both whole and cut up. Salad and cold cuts too. This was an outstanding buffet and I think everyone can find something they like. The pool was only 12 m long but I was able to stick to the side and get my laps in too. My only negative comment is that I don’t feel comfortable leaving my stuff unattended in an open cubby in the changing room at the pool. I think it’s better to have doors with locks. The locker room and pool area were both clean. This is a great spot to stay in Killarney.

Room is very nice and calm setting for a solo traveler, I love the Jacuzzi bath in the room, that is very confortable after long walk in National park and unexpected for B&B

Upon arriving, we were offered an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi, which we took advantage of. The room was lovely, an easy quick walk to shopping and restaurants. Parking was inexpensive and easy in the the lot almost directly across the street. Breakfast was great with a selection that would suit everyone. If you are a hiker, you need to try the Gap of Dunloe. It takes about 2 hours, and the views are stunning! It's about 10 minutes from the downtown. Be sure to visit Ross Castle and the Muckross Estate and grounds.

I did upgrade for 15 Eur a night. The room was huge! Full kingsize bed with a large walk-in closet (could have put a blow-up mattress in there for kids). The jacuzzi tub was a lifesaver after a long day of hiking. WiFi was great, streamed Netflix movies as I winded down at days end. Parking for the car was great, and I toured the Circle of Kerry for one of the days and then drove the Dingle Circle the second (both are possible to drive with only one or two difficult spots). I would stay here again!

The choice of breakfast was amazing; I indulged in both continental and hot food on my first day, but by the second day, I settled on the granola, yogurt, fruit, and delicious homemade bread (I even got the recipe!) along with some delightful cheeses—absolutely scrumptious! We also loved the convenience of the honesty bar. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep for both my husband and me. The guest house's convenient location, just a 5-minute drive from the town center, was a definite plus. The beautiful surroundings and lovely grounds further enhanced our experience in this stunning part of the world. Highly recommended!

I love everything about the room - cozy, spacious, convenient plug points. The most comfy bed I had on my Ireland trip - I slept like a baby! I love the bathroom too! Not too small, not too big. Thoughtfully designed and decorated, equipped with a tiny sunroof - can see the tree top and sky and give very good lighting. Oh yes, I love the dining area too. Beautifully designed and decorated. They will serve coffee/tea upon seating - helpful, friendly and attentive. Peaceful place - quiet because it is not located in the city centre nor near the road. Surrounded by trees and near a river. The river is not suitable for any activities though.

We had an amazing four-night stay at Gleann Fia Country House. The location is peaceful and idyllic, surrounded by beautiful gardens and nature, yet close to Killarney town. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our hosts and staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was exceptional every morning- fresh, delicious and generous. A truly relaxing and memorable experience. Highly recommended!

The guest house is amazing. Our rooms were very spacious and comfortable as were the bathrooms. There was a towel heater in the bathroom and the closet included bathrobes!! There were plentiful electrical outlets everywhere. The suite had abundant natural lighting. The owners Conor & Bridget take pride of ownership in so many details both large & small like the bowl of mints at the front counter. Conor provided guidance with our travel plans as well. There is a generous sized sunroom/common area with ample seating and room to gather with travel mates. There was tea, coffee, and an honor bar available in the guest lounge. As well as a library with books, DVD's etc. There was also an assortment of games and puzzles. There was lovely music playing in the lounge that added to the ambiance. There is also an adorable outdoor patio and the house is set in a beautiful natural setting in the woodlands on a river. A top-notch Breakfast was included in a bright breakfast room with endless fresh homemade delicious choices for both a continental & full irish breakfast made to order. It filled us up and held us over until supper after a long day of travelling.

A lovely house on a really quiet setting (no road traffic noise!!) & the lovely sound of the River Deenagh flowing alongside the boundary of the property Cosy,comfy & very clean throughout. Great space to chill out in the evenings with 2 rooms in which to sit & relax,read a book etc with as much complimentary tea/coffee & biscuits as you need 😀 Huge choice of breakfast options including an extremely tasty Full Irish Breakfast with homemade brown soda bread made with Macroom Brown Flour😋. Cereals, cheese,salami,fresh orange juice & fresh fruit salad.

Amazing place, a perfect balance of a nice cosy family hotel, but with lovely amenities. The bed was SO comfortable and the bathroom/shower were really modern and lovely. Then we get on to the staff who were incredible, couldn't do enough for you, and the breakfast... wow! Incredible, the soda bread was amazing, the full cooked irish breakfast was to die for... genuinely couldn't fault the whole experience. 10/10

What a lovely stay! Extremely friendly and welcoming staff, great breakfast and comfortable and clean room. The building is a gem with its wooden interior and delightful decorations. Location is just a short walk from the city centre with lots of restaurants (make sure to make a dinner reservation, especially in higher rated places, it gets busy!) and bars. On top of all that - spacious and secure parking.

Everything was top quality right from the moment we were greeted. The room was clean, and quiet, with super comfy beds and a private bathroom. Breakfast included fresh fruit, delicious fresh baked scones, and made to order hot breakfast to name a few, all of which were all amazing. We highly recommend Killarney lodge as Catherine, Markus & staff are super hosts! 10 out of 10!

We are seasoned travelers and this is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was wonderful. The breakfast with made to order eggs, pancakes was delicious. Plus there was an array of fresh fruit, fresh breads, juices and more. The house smelled great due to the fresh flowers that were everywhere. There was a parlor with teas and biscuits. We had a medical crisis and Catherine was so sweet and helpful. The location was close to city center and pubs but quiet. It is just across the road from the national park. It is a wonderful property.

Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was a good size. The hotel is spotless, very comfortable and in excellent condition. The food in the bar was fabulous. The atmosphere in bar and lobby is very relaxing, lots of comfy seating. You can walk to the park and into town in a few minutes. Excellent location. There's also lovely grounds around the hotel. The outdoor jacuzzi and spa area at the pool are lovely.

Perfectly situated in the town center, right across the street from the National Park — truly the best of both worlds. ROOM – LOVE LOVE LOVE. We were lucky to stay in one of the suites, which had a separate room — perfect for working without disturbing each other, or for one to watch TV while the other works in peace. SERVICE – EXCELLENT. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel is clearly run with five-star standards. A special shout-out to Maria at the Front Desk — her warmth and helpfulness made our stay feel extra special. FOOD – EXCELLENT. We tried the bar, breakfast, and dinner — all were outstanding, both in quality and service. We will definitely stay at The Killarney Park again when we visit the area. It’s a truly special place!

The girls from the office and I had the most wonderful stay at the Killarney Park Hotel. Our room was cosy, warm, comfortable, and spotlessly clean — it had everything we could have wished for and more. The leisure and spa facilities were fantastic. Our spa treatments were simply amazing — relaxing, luxurious, and delivered by the most professional and friendly staff. It was pure bliss from start to finish. It was also a glorious experience to sit in the outdoor heated pool while the rain gently poured down on our faces. Breakfast was second to none — truly a highlight of our stay. Loved this hotel. It was recently renovated and it is gorgeous. All of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had room 272, a balcony room. Very nice size room and huge bathroom. The balcony had no view because of an extended roof on the floor below it. I suppose if you just wanted to sit outside and look straight up at the sky that would be fine. It did allow a lot of light in the room, but the room was well lit anyway. Push button open and close drapery was nice. We enjoyed our dinner in the garden bar one night. Perfect location for doing ROK or just shopping in town. It was absolutely perfect. Easy parking. I would most definitely stay here again!

We recently stayed at The Ross Hotel for a Hen Party and had the most incredible stay! The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and kept impeccably clean in every area. The rooms are stunning, spacious, and very comfortable - the Smeg coffee machine was a lovely added touch. We dined here for breakfast and dinner, all of the food tasted amazing and was presented to the highest standard. The cocktails also went down a treat with a top-class presentation thanks to all the bar staff. All of the waitstaff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, providing the highest level of service. As someone who worked in a 5-star hotel for 5 years, I was blown away by every little detail in this hotel from the aesthetic to the incredible staff who made our stay so special. A special thank you to Katarína who phoned me the night before we arrived to confirm our itinerary and helped to accommodate a last-minute request to make customized cocktail menus for the bride to make the stay more personal for her. Everyone working here has been nothing short of fantastic not only during our stay but in the months leading up to our stay. A heartfelt thank you to Katarína, Ciara, Roger, Fiona, Martina, Cody, Lorna, Nebojsa, and Orla, for working so well as a team to make our stay so special and allowing us to give the bride the perfect send-off. We had the best girly night away From the minute we arrived, got an early check in with the package that we went for, Gin & chocolate tasting. To the minute we left the staff were all so friendly & helpful. We had the gin tasting in the afternoon and we got to taste some lovely local gins. Before & after dinner we had some Devine cocktails Dinner was in the Lane restaurant which was delicious, we just couldn’t eat it all. Breakfast was delicious as well and it was nice to see that it wasn’t buffet and everything was made to order. We had a brilliant girls night away, we will definitely be back Thanks to all the staff for a relaxing chilled night away

The facilities were clean and wonderfully/uniquely decorated. The staff was friendly, helpful and informative. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom area was great with a big soaking tub and separate shower. The breakfast area was fun to eat in due to the decor and fresh tasty options such as poached eggs, yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, oatmeal, toast, bacon, etc. The location was very handy for day trips to the Dingle Peninsula, Killarney National Park and for just walking around the town with all of its shops and restaurants.

After staying in many hotels all around the country on our visit over 11 days, we found the Ross Hotel room to be the most special. Our room had a king bed, fireplace, sitting area and a spacious bath and closet area. Our view was a back alley and also a lovely side view of a church. Even though we could hear music from the downstairs businesses, our room was very comfortable and we slept well. We experienced an extra helpful and friendly front desk staff, especially Katrina. Also giving very good service was Dermott in the Gin and Champagne bar who truly has a passion for his craft. Dinner in the upstairs bar was very good and the decor throughout was unique and fun. We will stay at the Ross Hotel again if we visit Killarney in the future. Everything was first rate!

This was a great hotel within walking distance of everything. We walked to all the shopping, eating and sights easily. The area is safe and very friendly. Our rooms were large, clean and newer. The hotel itself is very well maintained with a great bar and restaurant on site as well as a couple of pubs next door as well as a coffee shop only steps away for early risers like me. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Check-in was quick and informative and parking was super convenient!

We had a wonderful stay at Old Weir Lodge in Killarney. The guesthouse was charming, spotless, and very comfortable, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our rooms were spacious and well appointed, and we especially appreciated the quality of the breakfast each morning. It was delicious and offered a great variety. We loved the cozy common rooms and spent one evening there playing games and enjoying a drink. It was a perfect way to wind down after a day of exploring. They also offer fans for the guest rooms, which we really appreciated since the room could get warm at night. The location was ideal, just a short and pleasant walk into the town center, close to shops, restaurants, and the entrance to Killarney National Park. Parking was easy and convenient, which made coming and going stress free.

Front desk staff very kind, nice check-in, she gave us ideas for places to eat dinner and to visit in Killarney. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom with hot rack for bath towels. Breakfast staff were friendly. Very good breakfast; you get to order one item off the hot menu with either coffee or tea. I ordered the Irish breakfast (very good) and asked if they had hot chocolate instead of the coffee or tea (yes they did). You also get the buffet with cheeses, cold cuts, Irish bread, juices, pastries, yogurt.

We are so grateful that a friend from Dublin referred us to the Old Weir Lodge for a visit to Killarney for a wedding. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable beds, great bathrooms with bath tub & shower and excellent water pressure, and the breakfasts were superb. There are also two large lounges. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, (excellent breakfast service) and especially Niall, who patiently helped us navigate our way to various destinations. The location is perfect, within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, shops, and nightlife. We are so happy we stayed at the Old Weir Lodge!!

The lodge was very well located, just outside of the main town but within an easy 10 minute walk. The staff were friendly, welcoming & helpful & the rooms comfortable & well appointed. Breakfast was plentiful, with cold help yourself options plus hot breakfast cooked to order. We also liked the fact that they had a small bar for guests to use so we could have a drink before heading out to dinner or a nightcap before turning in. We stayed here for 2 nights to explore the region & drive the Ring of Kerry.

The staff was amazing and helpful. When we checked in, Linda gave us some recommendations and helped us book dinner (we loved it so much we returned the following night with help from the front desk staff again, I forgot to ask her name, but she was friendly and helpful too). The breakfast staff were inviting and cheery in the morning and the food was tasty and filling. The room was very comfortable. We had drinks in the lounge one night it was fantastic.

This was our first time staying here as it was a present for our Anniversary from our children, we have to say that this was very much an Outstanding stay..from the time we arrived ,to being greeted from the loveliest person Maura, who honestly was so professional and friendly , we couldn't fault a single thing. We were delighted to receive an upgraded room which was very spacious, clean,modern and extremely comfortable. The beds here are like sleeping on clouds! Everything here is pure quality and luxury. We ate at the ivy restaurant and it was delicious! The breakfast next morning was one of the best breakfasts we ever have had, it was lovely to have table service for breakfast and everything was freshly cooked, piping hot and quality ingredients. I must commend the staff at the Victoria, every person we interacted with were very friendly, polite and professional. We will be recommending here to all our family and friends and without a doubt we will be returning here.!!

Our stay at The Victoria Hotel Killarney was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine warmth and Irish hospitality that immediately made us feel at home. Everything about this hotel was exceptional. From the minute we arrived to such a beautiful building covered in ivy, to the warm welcome from the reception staff, to the delicious food and amazing attention to detail throughout the hotel. The hotel is cosy, yet modern and beautifully decorated. Our room was comfortable - the best bed ever and the bathroom spacious with a fab shower. Breakfast and dinner were delicious - such yummy food and beautifully presented. Staff were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Chatty and genuinely asking about our day and giving us advice on places to go. Location was also perfect. Walking distance to the main town (Killarney about 25 mins away) and on the door step to loads of sights and walks around the national park. A must stay - we were so sad to leave and will definitely be back 💕

Beautiful hotel. Beds were really comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. . Bathroom was very spacious with big shower, which had good water pressure. The room itself was decorated very nicely. Overall a great room. We couldn't praise the staff more, they all presented as warm, friendly and helpful, really made us feel welcome. Breakfast was lovely, , the breakfast staff were very attentive and nothing too much of a bother, good selection on breakfast menu including separate vegan menu which was great and alternative milks were available. The location of the hotel was perfect as we were able to go morning walks in the national park after breakfast and in the morning in the field across the street there were deer grazing which was just such a lovely peaceful view. We absolutely loved our stay here.

The rooms are spacious and the jacuzzi tub and view of the castle made the room extra special!

Everything about this place exceeded expectations. The staff were extremely helpful and professional. The ambience was elegant. The common areas, lounges, bars and restaurants were beautifully furnished and inviting. Breakfast included a wide range of freshly prepared food, and we had a table by the window both days with fantastic views. Our bedroom suite was spectatular, greatly exceeding expectations. It was unusually large with nice furnishings and a comfortable bed. There was a walk-in closet and the bathroom was enormous and included a jacuzzi tub. We were able to spend hours and hours hiking and visiting Muckross Abbey, Muckross House, Torc Waterfall and Dinis' Cottage right from the front of the hotel. We had dinner at the bistro. The service and food and ambience were all excellent, and there were three main vegetarian choices on the menu, a rarity to find! Another visit to Ireland will definitely include a return visit to this fabulous hotel in its beautiful lakeside setting.

The setting was amazing, with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The hotel itself was warm and comfortable during the cold March weather. The food in the restaurant for dinner was very tasty and breakfast was exceptional. There was lots of space in the hotel, beautiful rooms and areas for relaxing in front of the log fires. The bedrooms and bathrooms had all the amenities required including tea/coffee making facilities, tissues, fan, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, body lotion, safe, robes & slippers, fresh water available throughout the hotel. The beds were extremely comfortable. The hotel was packed for St Patrick’s weekend, but there was no noise on the corridors at night, it was unbelievably quiet and peaceful. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The thermal suite was beautiful and so relaxing. The outdoor hydrotherapy facilities were refreshing and unique. A special word for the staff, they were exceptional. This includes staff at reception, the staff at breakfast and dinner, the bar staff and the cleaners. Each one of them were so friendly and helpful. They could not do enough for you. We will return to Killarney just to stay in the Lake Hotel.

The view overlooking the lake was absolutely amazing. There was a lot of property to take an evening stroll and the property was very peaceful. The breakfast buffet was fire. There was a large selection for any taste including an Irish breakfast spread. For lunch and dinner, there were restaurant and bar options within the hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable.

Where to begin? Set in an idyllic spot with views of the lake, a medieval castle, surrounded by great walks, it is a beautiful historic building, with fabulous customer service, and great food. The hotel is a bit out of town, and the town seems to have a great vibe - so you could walk into town if you wanted to go to a pub, and catch a taxi back. However, we were happy to stay in the hotel in the evenings, we found the bar to be so lovely, reasonable prices, and the bar menu fantastic. We loved the wings! One evening, the bar hosted the O'Donoghue Sisters who sang and played live music on a variety of instruments. We were inclined to go to bed but Jerome encouraged us to stay. It was an amazing night - not overly crowded, just perfect. One afternoon we ate the scones, which were delicious - with lemon curd, strawberry jam and clotted cream!! I definitely recommend the scones. The room was spacious and the breakfast incredible (a variety of buffet hot and cold items as well as a choice from an a la carte menu). The customer service at this hotel we found to be superb. I highly recommend this gorgeous property.

A good sized bedroom with a very comfortable bed & pillows & fresh white linen. Towels & toiletries included. A beautiful new bathroom with an excellent shower. There is also an added bonus of a laundry room on the same landing which has 3 washing machine & 3 tumble dryers. Detergents there to use. Iron & ironing board in apartment. Donal, our host is a lovely man, very friendly & helpful & insisted on helping my husband upstairs with the luggage. The apartments are a credit to Donal & his family they have thought of everything. Seriously you would not wish to stay in a hotel when you have Haven Suites as an option, it was superb. We would certainly stay here again & will recommend to family & friends.

This property was exceptional. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We loved that we could cook our own meals and that a supermarket was less than a 10 minute walk away. There was free private parking on site too which a big bonus. The property is right behind a busy street with many cafes, restaurants, shops of all types and bars where you can listen bands and Irish music. Our apartment and surrounding property area felt very safe and very quiet considering the closeness of neighbouring areas. We would highly recommend staying at these apartments.

Apartment was spotless cosy & warm, spacious was in quiet area and very central to all bar's restaurant's shop's . Toiletries were provided , Car park was very secure with plenty of space . We were met on arrival by Donal who was very helpful and such a gentleman and carried our suitcases up the stairs ,

The apartment is centrally located, only a few steps from one of the main roads with loads of restaurants, pubs and shops. The apartment itself was more than what we expected — the bedroom was big, with storage room and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and the shower amazing. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, living-dining room and a terrace with an outdoor table. We had tea, coffee and biscuits. There are also washing and drying machines with soap for communal use - which was really handy after a week of travel. We will definitely come back next time we’re in Killarney.

We loved everything about the property . From the time we got there and met Donal who was very friendly and helpful and even gave us directions when we rang him to let him know we were in town . There was free private parking which was great . The apartment itself was very spacious . It had everything you need for a very enjoyable stay ,including a lovey welcome box of tea bags , coffee , milk and even some biscuits which was a nice touch . What a fabulous hotel with exceptional service. Huge credit to all the staff who were so welcoming, couldn’t do more to help and always smiling. The hotel itself is stunning, from the entrance with candles & fresh flowers, the gorgeous spa, it all felt very luxe. We were offered a welcome drink whilst checking in, bags taken to our room, shown to the spa as we booked a time slot (access is free to all guests you just have to pre book a time slot) the spa was gorgeous, very quiet so even more special, inside and outside jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and lovely pool with bubble beds. The bar/lounge was so cosy with a fire and comfy sofas. We ate at the onsite pub which was lovely. I would try the onsite fine dining if coming back. Breakfast was a real treat, lovely service, great selection of buffet and cooked options (all included) the room itself was great, a nice hotel room, just didn’t have the wow factor that the rest of the hotel did. We will absolutely be returning when visiting Ireland again. Great value for money as well. The location was ideal to explore Killarney, close to the waterfalls and stunning landscapes. Our stay was amazing!! It was my partner and Is anniversary and they went above and beyond. The pool facilities were so luxurious. We loved the jacuzzi , sauna , steam room etc. The hotel was so accommodating and gave us a superior room (Thank you to the Lovely Emma at the desk) We had yummy food in the bar /restaurant where Patrick served us with a smile. The breakfast was very tasty in the morning and great service. The hotel was so close to muckross park and muckross Abbey where we went for a lovely walk and a coffee. We also did a little pony treck around facilitated by this lovely man named Dan who was down the road. The hotel staff were so so nice and happy to answer any questions. We are so happy with out paddy's day stay. Thank you so much! Go raibh míle maith agat.

The breakfast was excellent with a good choice for vegetarians and vegans. What really made it special however, was the friendly and helpful staff who were always alert to any requirements. The Yew Tree restaurant, where breakfast is served, is absolutely beautiful and topped off the experience perfectly. We booked an hour in the vitality pool that included use of the sauna, steam room, two jacuzzis, an outdoor hot tub (dIvine!) and heated loungers. At 11am we had the place to ourselves for the last 40 mins. Extremely relaxing and for no extra cost! The bathroom was very good with double his and her sinks and an enormous bath. The seperate shower was perfect; easy to use, instant hot water and very good water pressure. The Ritual complimentary shower gel, conditioner and shampoo added to the sense of luxury. The twin room we booked was of a very adequate size although we could have done with a few more hangers in the wardrobe. The room was easy to heat or cool with very simple wall controls and the beds themselves were extremely comfortable. Finally, and notwithstanding the lovely surroundings and general air of opulance and serenity, the greatest tribute I can pay this hotel is its staff. Incredibly professional, yet friendly, helpful and always there with a sincere smile and a cheery hello. Outstanding stuff from porter to waiter to housemaid to receptionist.

We were only there for two nights, but we felt very comfortable. It is a quiet complex close to the city. There was a welcome pack with tea, coffee, milk, sugar, biscuits, and kitchen and bathroom amenities. A lovely two-bedroom apartment with comfortable beds and two bathrooms. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: a kettle, toaster, teapot, French press, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, and, of course, plenty of dishes, cutlery, etc. There's also a small balcony with a fantastic view. At the rear of the complex, there's plenty of green space with picnic tables. Behind the whole complex there is a playground for children. I was also impressed that, in addition to a first-aid kit, there is also a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket in the kitchen. We highly recommend this complex and hope to stay here again on our next visit to Killarney. On Google Maps is also a video 😉

The apartments are a great size and has everything you need. The main bathroom was recently renovated. The playground is amazing (with 10 swings, which exceeded my kids expectations) and perfect for long summer evenings, my kids played and I enjoyed a glass of wine. The view from the playground is also amazing. Washer and dryer in the lobby was a bonus. The property is close to the center of kilarney, too far to walk with kids but adults could do it fine.

Really comfy, spacious flat. Loved the added extras - tea, coffee, biscuits, kitchen roll, hand wash, shower gel etc - which was much appreciated. Ideal location - easy walk into town; parking right in front of the apartment block. Very quiet and peaceful area. It was great to have 2 bathrooms; plenty of space in bedrooms and sitting area. Beds very comfortable.

Rookery Mews apartments were great. Clean, comfortable and only 10-15 mins walk to the town. They had tea/coffee, biscuits, sugar, milk, space toilet rolls, kitchen roll, tea towels, hand soap, washing up liquid, cooking oil, shower gel, fresh towels, all a very nice touch. There was a great playground at the apartments with lots of different activities for the children. I have to say we had a great weekend and next time would love to stay for the week. It was a home away from home. Already recommended to family and friends

Decided on a quick break to Killarney and my wife found this charming old farmhouse b&b located just outside town. The place was immaculately clean, our room was en suite and the beds were very comfortable with fresh pressed linens and deep comfortable cushions. The en suite was clean and the shower powerful and piping hot. There was good WiFi and a fridge outside our room where you could place a few items. Breakfast was delicious with freshly baked brown scones, homemade bircher muesli, fresh home made kombucha and I opted for scrambled eggs which were delicious. Bridget is a warm, super friendly, genuine hostess with great local knowledge, it was a pleasure to deal with her.

Loved everything about this B&B. Located a few miles from Killarney town it's the perfect escape for some peace and quiet in the countryside but also near enough to hop in a taxi into town. The room was so clean and so comfortable - I had the soundest sleep! Brigid is a fantastic host and I was delighted to learn that she provides evening meals (and drinks). I had the most delicious cesar salad ever tasted! Breakfast was another treat. Brigid makes her own Kombucha and homemade scones as well as a delicious fruit buffet and hot food options. It was a real home away from home and I will recommend it to all my friends!

The signs to get to the location were amazing, made getting there very simple! The host was super friendly and treated us like family. We chose to have the evening meal and it was so incredibly delicious and in a quaint dining room. We only stayed one night but our room was sufficient with everything we needed. The bed was also super comfortable. The breakfast was also delicious and wonderfully prepared and presented along with a buffet of homemade muesli, homemade kombucha, various cereals and a savoury plate with meat and cheese as well and homemade scones. It was our first bed and breakfast experience and it spoiled us! We will definitely be back!

The location is great - one of the first places to stay you arrive at on crossing the bridge into the town. The welcome was warm and very easy to check in. My room was on the first floor and was a twin bed room. The room was spacious, bathroom also spacious with good facilities. There is hanging space as well as shelves and tea and coffee making facilities. The room was warm and there was an extra heater if you required it. I had dinner with my cousin that night and the menu choices caused an issue trying decide which delicious dish to have. I had chowder to start and mussels for main. Both were delicious, hot and portions were plentiful. Next day I did not have breakfast with the residents but met another cousin and his wife for brunch. We all had the mini Irish breakfast and it was delicious and again the portions were good and the food was hot. Staff throughout the venue are attentive, helpful and very friendly. They are well staffed which means that there is no waiting for customers or trying to attract someones attention. Overall my stay was very pleasant. Accommodation is not over priced. Room was comfortable and clean with good facilities. Restaurant service and food was excellent. I would have no hesitation recommending The Bianconi to others.

The beds were also extremely comfortable, and not too hot. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the pastry, fruit, and cereal options were extension and very tasty. I also had scrambled eggs with bacon, and the eggs were honestly the nicest that I've eaten in a long time! The staff throughout were helpful and friendly, exactly what you need.

Can't recommend this beautiful place enough! From the time we walked in till we left, everything was perfect. The ambience was calm, service professional but especially friendly, augmented by beautiful modern tasteful decor. Room spotless and very comfy with attention to detail. Highly recommend the restaurant; thoroughly enjoyed our fish dishes, service very attentive and unrushed, our table being reserved for as long as we wished. The breakfast menu was varied and more than enough and in a beautiful dining room. Will definitely return here and with family next time in the area. Go raibh míle maith agaibh!

I was extremely happy with my 4 nights' stay at the hotel. It couldn't have been better. Room was great, amazingly clean (definitely the cleanest hotel I have been to in a long time) and spacious. Furniture looked recent and modern. Hotel surroundings are amazing: mountain view, beautiful sunsets and sunrises, and a field of cows right next to it. So relaxing! Amazing customer service! Breakfast is delicious with a choice of Irish breakfast, pancakes or cereals. Owners noticed that we like our coffee strong and they served us strong coffee every morning without us asking (Amazing customer service!). Beautiful home w espectacular views. Welcoming and friendly hosts. They checked on us and made sure we were comfortable. We had a room facing the East, so we were able to see the sunrise. It was very helpful that we were able to use a shared kitchenette w a refrigerator, sink, and table. We were able to refill our water bottles daily, which was helpful. We enjoyed delicious breakfast each morning, and they were so attentive and warm. A sweet bonus for us is their sweet pets, Luie, Bean, and Frank, which added to our experience since we are animal lovers.Their home is close to many points of interest. We definitely recommend this b&b to everyone.

The breakfast was delicious and wonderful, professional service and met my dietary needs. The room was perfect, with a beautiful view of Gap of Dunloe and a private entrance through a sliding glass door/patio. Her puppy was so incredibly cute. Would definitely stay there again. Bed was comfortable, room was quiet, with ample parking, even though I believe the B&B was full. The location was truly perfect just off the Ring of Kerry and close to eating establishments if you have a car or don't mind a bit of a walk.

Jen, Fergal and the ladies who helped with breakfast were so incredibly friendly, warm and helpful - the perfect hosts. The house is just gorgeous, with beautiful views and gardens. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The location was perfect for us to tour the Ring of Kerry and the Gap of Dunloe and shop at Killarney. It was the perfect stay and we were sad to leave. Thank you Jen and Fergal for your hospitality- we loved every minute of our stay!

My daughter was dancing at the World Championships at Glen Eagles. Which is about 10-15 mins walk from Earl Court. It is so quiet and homely. We had an amazing room with a 4 poster bed and jacuzzi. It was the nicest room. We never heard a thing. And the staff were all so kind and helpful. They were so friendly all wished my daughter good luck, and then asked how she got on. And no matter what not anything was too much trouble. It was such a lovely experience. Oh and not to forget the lovely breakfast, which was freshly made and definitely hit the spot.

The rooms and over decor of the hotel is simply stunning. The cosy atmosphere and wonderful staff make it a joy to visit. A lovely snug residents bar makes a simple drink feel like a treat and the four poster bed and jacuzzi tub were just amazing. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the hallways had easy to access ironing boards/irons. Shower, a little on the weak side but good enough. Overall, excellent.

The pillows were great and I loved that there were robes on our bed. I didn't however get the room that I booked which was disappointing. The sauna and jacuzzi were nice. The staff were friendly at check in and at breakfast. There was a young lad playing the piano in the lobby during dinner, he was fantastic.

We had a fantastic stay at the Brehon. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We availed of the vitality suite facilities and the gym. Our room was perfect, extremely comfortable and had a hair dryer, iron, tea/coffee making facilities. We also had dinner in the bar which was lovely and great cocktails! Breakfast the next morning was also excellent - we had a menu to order from and could avail of a buffet. We really enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to return!

The Brehon was our one fancy hotel of the trip, and it did not disappoint! It was close to the downtown area, so just a short little drive/taxi away. They had a nice bar and restaurant on site that served delicious food and cocktails. All staff were friendly and check-in was so smooth and easy. We're only bummed we didn't get to check out the spa, but I guess that means we just need to go back! We had breakfast included the next morning and it was delicious. The room was very spacious, and the bed was so comfortable we didn't want to leave.

Absolutely everything. We were greeted immediately by name with a room key, having already checked in online prior to flying. Payment had already been taken so there was nothing to do but head straight to our room to dump our bags and head downstairs to the hotel bar for an exceptional pint of Guinness poured to perfection by the friendliest and most entertaining of bartenders. As we arrived in the evening, we didn't even need to leave the hotel for food as their pub grub menu was exactly what we wanted after a long day of travelling. The food was excellent. We ventured out for a couple of pints elsewhere but returned to finish the first night in the hotel for the live music, which was top notch. Went to bed a little worse for wear that night but it was nothing the wonderful full Irish breakfast the next morning couldn't cure. The hotel is in the perfect location for Killarney, just a few minutes walk from the main street where you'll find a whole host of amazing pubs and restaurants. We had the best time during our three night stay in Killarney and this hotel was certainly the focal point of that. The room was lovely and clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at breakfast and in the bar. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Killarney if you want that authentic Irish feel and a base that's right in the town centre.

The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. We really appreciate their help in getting us parked at a convenient nearby lot, for an affordable rate (plunkett street carpark). Breakfast was good/bar was very charming. While our room was small, it was comfortable-- I enjoyed the shower a lot (good water pressure and good heat, I'm picky about hotel showers). The location was PERFECT in Killarney. Walkable to a lot of fun stuff around town.

Breakfast exceptional....cold buffet / Cereal....followed by full Irish that literally filled the plate. Room / ensuite clean comfortable and good size......and the all important kettle for that late night cuppa! Staff so friendly and helpful.......delightful !

Staff and management were friendly, helpful, and hard working. Room was clean at check in and refreshed the next day. The location to the sites, restaurants, and carpark was perfect for our golf group. The breakfast was fresh, served hot, and delicious. Pub in the evening was lively, staffed with friendly, funny, and competent employees, and the music created an authentic Irish vibe.

Murphys was the perfect place to stay for our first time in Killarney. I only wished we'd stayed longer. The staff was wonderful, both checking in and out. Both were very helpful and lovely. We had dinner after checking in, and it was very good. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was also very good with a great variety of choices. I highly recommend Murphys. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

We travelled by train, within two-minute walk we arrived at the hotel the location is also perfect for easy access to the town and local attractions. We were pleasantly surprised with wonderful treats on arrival, including a big "Happy Birthday" message in chocolate, which delighted my mother. That evening, the restaurant staff even sang "Happy Birthday" to her, creating a heartwarming atmosphere. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, almost like sleeping on clouds! The pillows were so soft and cozy that I half-expected to wake up in a dreamland. Plus, our room was spotless. This hotel has a friendly and homely vibe, with cleanliness, service, and food that definitely deserve five stars. My husband and I had a wonderful stay. We flew overnight from the States and drove from Dubin, so we were extremely tired and arrived late. Eillen greeted us with open arms and was very friendly. The entire staff was so kind during our stay. Our room (the titanic) was just perfect. Tea and treats were provided for us each day. It overlooked the yard and the river. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. The location was also perfect for the Ring of Kerry, Killarney National Park, and Dingle peninsula (our favorite), all within an hour and half drive. The town of Kilarney was just a quick 10 minute drive and offered lots of free parking after 630. We enjoyed dinner and drinks in the town. There are tons of options. My favorite part was breakfast! The portion sizes were huge and filled both my husband and I up until dinner! Oatmeal with Baileys and the poached eggs and sausage were our favorite. Our room was also cleaned every day with fresh towels and the chocolate treats were resuppiled. We would definitely stay here again! It was a lovely start to our trip.

Crystal Springs is a lovely property by a flowing river and the constant sound of the river gives a tranquil ambiance and creates a great vibe to the place. The host Eileen was extremely gracious and stayed awake to check us in because we reached Killarney quite late. She was such a wonderful person, from the moment we walked in, she made us feel homely and comfortable. The freshly cooked breakfast in the morning (try the Lemon pancakes) accompanied with gentle music and old China sets up the tone for the day. Every detail starting from cleanliness of the place, the bed, the utilities, the furniture inside the room shows great care of the host. The B&B is a gentle 20min walk to the town center so you will not be far from the pubs, bars, restaurants of Killarney. Overall it was a 5 star for us and would recommend highly to anyone seeking a quiet and relaxing stay.

An honest review! Check in and check out perfect. Guy at check in super efficient and friendly explained breakfast etc excellent location for INEC and parking around the back a godsend. Clean and enough towels etc shower is a bit powerful and hot but with a few adjustments got it right. It’s also a bit cramped due to shelf area but a minor quibble. Otherwise great couple of nights. Beds very comfortable not too soft and great nights sleep as it’s quiet enough. All you want is a clean friendly safe spot to stay and this is it for convenience price and the nice building.

A wonderful stay in an absolutely superb accommodation. Big, spacious, clean rooms, impeccable modern facilities, excellent WiFi. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is top notch, a stone's throw both from the city centre with all the cafes and shops if you need anything and from the National Park (the route to Ross Castle is just across the road, and it's a short walk down past River Flesk to go deeper in the woods and investigate Macross Abbey and cemetery). We had a really great time, and will be looking forward to secure future bookings at Abbey Lodge. Also I suspect the building itself is a renovated Victorian mansion, which adds a lot to the charm.

We arrived in Kilarney on day 5 of road trip and managed to get the last room in this lovely accommodation Wonderful polite greeting on arrival to an excellent comfortable clean room. The location is excellent and literally 3 minutes walk to all the bars and restaurants but far enough away no noise so a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Fantastic breakfast with polite professional welcoming hosts. Absolutely no reservation in recommending Abbey Lodge.

I stayed with my partner for 2 nights here in Killarney, the Hotel is located 2 min walk from the town centre and 5 min drive to national Park. We were met by a friendly staff when checking in we had a fantastic super dulux room. The room was very spacious on ground floor, clean and very modern. The bathroom was very large also with great relaxing ambiance. The bed was the best bed I ever slept on, it was very hard to not to stay in it all a day. We didn't have breakfast but we had Dinner. The dinner meal was 2 courses for 30 euro I had the baby leaf salad and steak and chips for mains was fantastic. I would recommend reserving a table as it gets very busy. The waitress was a bit slow when re ordering drinks as we asked twice but didn't receive them . But same token they were busy. All in all the stay was very relaxing and joyful experience very much recommend, I will be coming back again.

There are dozens of hotels in Killarney to stay in, but you should choose this one. First-the rooms are large and spacious. There was road construction going on and they upgraded us to a king-sized room, which was thoughtful. Plenty of room for two people with a nice bathroom and shower. Next-the food and service. We ate dinner and breakfast here, and the quality of both food and service were great. The breakfast buffet offered both cooked to order entrees and a cold buffet with juices, breads, pastries, and the like. Our waitress Amy was kind and pleasant. The dinner entrees were creative and well executed. The location is ideal-just a short stroll to the main downtown area, with plenty of parking.

Can’t fault this hotel! Reception area, spacious, decor very tasteful, very welcoming and helpful staff. Bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Dining room large but divided into different areas to create pleasant spaces. Breakfast excellent, with plenty of choice. Kaynes bar and brasserie attached to the hotel was perfect for evening meals, great choice on menu and everything we ate was delicious. Again staff were excellent, especially Karen and Darren. All in all a great place to stay and such good value for money. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Killarney!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The hotel is elegant, beautifully maintained, and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are genuinely kind and provide excellent service—they really made our stay feel special. Our room was spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. The beds were perfect after long days of exploring, and we slept like a dream. And the breakfast—oh my goodness! Absolutely amazing. Delicious, generous, and one of the best we’ve had on our trip.

Excellent hotel We stayed for 2 nights and could not fault this hotel in any way. Everything is spotless and our room was lovely with one of the most comfortable beds i have ever slept in. We had dinner on one of the nights and it was delicious with a lovely cosy atmosphere. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the ring of Kerry or Killarney national park but is also just a short walk from the city center. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel exceeded all our expectations. The staff is wonderful and was incredibly helpful. The location is perfect to walk to restaurants, shops, and pubs. And the breakfast is truly outstanding - lots and lots of wonderful fresh fruit, fresh baked bread and pastries (including gluten free), a terrific made to order menu and great service. The room is well appointed, clean and comfortable. Would be happy to stay here again.

Great town centre location, car park opposite and easy walking into town bars, shops and restaurants. Wonderful welcome from Kellie and lovely room facilities, top floor room which was large, bright and airy, great view and quiet. Great advice from Kellie over Ring of Kerry and other tourism ideas, bar side of property was great too and overall all the staff was welcoming. Room facilities in bathroom were great, breakfast was excellent with a great choice of fresh options, and traditional Irish of course with was fantastic! Overall we loved it, well done to the McSweeney family and staff for a fantastic experience!

The breakfast was delicious and very varied even though COVID restrictions were in place and there was no buffet. There was parking available at the back of the hotel which was free from 6pm to 9am and outside of this time the cost was €3 per day which was very good value. This is a lovely small independent hotel and whilst you won’t get vast expanses of marble floors, a bank of lifts, water features in the lobby etc you will get great service, a clean and very comfortable bedroom, great breakfast, helpful staff and a very small accommodation bill for what you receive.no frills no fuss but a fantastic hotel. Can’t wait to return

We had a wonderful stay at the Arbutus! The hotel is located right by the train station, so we had no problem walking there when we arrived. The staff was very kind and helpful; the concierge even printed out train schedules for us and helped us to plan the next leg of our trip. We were even offered free breakfast when I mentioned that my father and sister had stayed there the previous year. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and sparkling clean. We enjoyed the breakfast, which was more than your typical continental hotel breakfast--it included table service and traditional Irish dishes including salmon and brown bread. We went to The Shire Pub for dinner our first night, which is just across the street from our hotel. Killarney is a beautiful and very walkable town, and we found The Arbutus to be perfectly located for all we wanted to do. It was close to the Tesco (supermarket) and to the bike rental place where we got bikes to go into the National Park. I would recommend this gem of a hotel to anyone planning to visit Killarney--you will not be disappointed!

The service during our stay was faultless, very welcoming and friendly staff. Easy check in and out. Helpful with our baggage and any questions we had. Breakfast wasn't quite to the standard we hoped but it was plentiful. Coffee/tea was served promptly and toasts and butter topped up without us having to ask. Lovely homemade scones too. Room was very spacious with a lovely bright bathroom. Some noisy footsteps early in the morning above us but to be fair it is an older building so it can't be helped. Room faced the street but with windows closed and curtains drawn it was pretty quiet. If you want a classic, comfortable old-school hotel with good old-fashioned manners, I would recommend a stay here. Very centrally located.

The hotel is beautiful! Spacious, inviting and great staff! We were greeted warmly at check in by Ina, who was also very helpful giving us info about getting around in Killarney. Also, James, another member of the staff was very helpful. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed There were 3 of us ladies. We each had a bed. Bathroom was spacious too. The breakfast downstairs was lovely and delicious. The Buckley bar attached is very nice. Enjoyed the Irish music while we ate and had drinks. Very good location--near train and bus stations.

Perfect! From the reception welcome through to the check out three days later, it was amazing. The staff are excellent. For breakfast each morning we were welcomed by Aziz the restaurant manager. He is amazing and must be working in his true calling. He remembers guests, jokes with them and makes everyone feel welcome. In the evening we were welcomed by Sean the Deputy GM and Anne the assistant restaurant manager in the dining room. We were made to feel most welcome. My husband is Celiac and requires a bit of assistance with the menu to ensure he is safe. They were amazing and assured us that they would take care of everything, including a visit to the chef to thank him for all his help. Service in the restaurant and before and after dinner in the drawing room each evening we had the pleasure of Alan. He delivered excellent service and took care of everything from ensuring we had a table for dinner to remembering what our drink of choice each night. He asked about our day and made us feel as if we were sitting in our own home. If I was to comment on one improvement that could be made, it would be that the internet service during peek hours could be improved. It was a bit slow in the rooms. Otherwise, best stay in our three weeks in Ireland.

We have visited Killarney a few times but this was our first stay at Randles Hotel and it didn’t disappoint! The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. A particular mention for Marie at the front desk who was very helpful and friendly and very welcoming on our arrival… she’s a gem! The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. Thought the personalised welcome card was a nice touch too. The lounge areas are beautifully decorated and very cosy. Breakfast was very tasty with a very good selection. Bonus that there is free parking underneath the hotel. The town is only a 5 minute walk away. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning 😊

Staff was amazing, so friendly and responsive! They went above and beyond. The beds were comfortable, the room spotless and the bathroom shower the best! Delicious, extensive breakfast served in an elegant dining room. Very convenient to public transportation, shopping, restaurants and the National Park, but quiet and away from the bustle. We booked this historic hotel because at our first hotel choice there was no vacancy. What a find! From the moment we arrived, we could tell this place was focused on customer service. We were immediately helped with our bags (of five different hotels we stayed in during our trip this was the only one where help with bags was offered), and they responded quickly to every request. Shane checked in with us to make sure our stay was going well each time he saw us, and he immediately welcomed us for a late dinner when we came back exhausted one evening, even though we knew the kitchen was about to close. The entire staff was warm and kind. The location was good, walkable to many restaurants and close to Killarney National Park. Parking on site was a real plus. Breakfast was good, fresh and plentiful, with both hot and cold options. The on-site restaurant was so good, we did not hesitate to eat dinner there twice. The common areas were spacious and comfortable.

Our stay at Randles Hotel in Killarney was truly enjoyable, and it’s now our go-to choice for future visits. The location is perfect, just a five-minute walk from the town centre. The hotel, housed in a beautiful period building, is clean and well-maintained. However, the decor feels a bit confused, with modern IKEA-style elements that detract from the authentic charm of the historic structure. We were upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely gesture from the staff. The room was comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was outstanding (10/10) and Margaret’s warm, local hospitality added an authentic Irish feel. Overall, Randles Hotel offered a wonderful stay, and we look forward to returning.

The location was very central yet quiet. it was mid week so that could account for the quietness. The staff were extremely friendly, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was lovely however I am vegan and was disappointed that they didn't have non dairy spread or oat milk. They only had Soya. So not a big deal for me really, just a preference. There was a sign to say vegan options available at the breakfast buffet however, I had enough options anyway and didn't need to request alternative offerings. I would recommend to others without hesitation.

Kathleens Country House is a great hotel just about 5 minutes by car from the center of Killarney. We booked two rooms, both of which were pleasantly spacious, well-furnished, and absolutely clean. The beds were very comfortable and provided a good night’s sleep. The proximity to the road was not an issue at night as there was hardly any traffic from late evening onwards. The bathrooms in both rooms were completely renovated, modern, and also absolutely clean. The staff at Kathleens Country House were all very friendly and helpful. Both during check-in and at breakfast, the staff were attentive and happy to assist. As is common in Ireland, a kettle, tea, and even coffee were provided in the room, so tea and coffee could be prepared at any time. The breakfast was good with something for everyone. The breakfast room is large enough to avoid any waiting times. I can wholeheartedly recommend Kathleens Country House if you are looking for accommodation in the area. It is very well suited as a starting point for excursions to the Kerry and Dingle peninsulas.

The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The en-suite bathroom was also large and clean with plenty of hot water and an excellent shower. Our room overlooked the busy road into Killarney but noise wasn't an issue as the house was far enough back. Breakfast was excellent with a good amount of choice. The property was just a short drive into Killarney and a very convenient car park. A lively town with plenty of eateries.

The property was very spacious. The rooms were spotlessly clean it was the first thing I noticed, the cleaners did a superb job which made everything very comfortable. This place exceeded my expectations! All staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was nice and had everything I needed. The most outstanding feature of Kathleen's is their breakfast. They have many delicious options including fresh fruit and juice, hot dishes, cereal, fresh bread. All were well prepared and delicious. You will not leave hungry! The grounds are also beautiful...even in October there were roses blooming!

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a nice patio. The bathroom was beautiful, clean, updated, and instant hot water in the shower. They refreshed the bathroom supplies daily. The morning breakfast had a lot of choices and was delicious. It was convenient to have a nice breakfast before heading out for your day. The location was wonderful. The hotel had a lot of nice areas to sit in, lounge and relax. It had a restaurant at night as well as a bar area that offered food. I had dinner one night in the bar and it was excellent. I had room service one time and that was great. I highly recommend this hotel.

Highly recommend Cahernane House Hotel if you're going to Killarney. We stayed in the carriage house in a ground floor room looking out onto the lovely courtyard, fields, and mountains in the distance. Breathtaking. Our room itself in its furniture, layout and decor was the perfect combination of simple/modern, and old-fashioned/luxurious - with a very comfortable king-sized bed, and a spacious bathroom with separate shower and large bathtub - and small touches like antifog mirror. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, and the breakfasts were tasty. We borrowed bikes one evening and biked around Killarney National Park, which was great. My only very minor complaint is the hotel could use to get some better bicycles, but I suppose it's tricky because if the bikes are too nice, they might disappear...

Excellent hotel. The best I stayed in in Ireland. Friendly, helpful staff, incredible breakfast. Great gourmet food at the restaurant. A Beautiful ( Edwardian, I think) manor house. Every modern convenience seamlessly incorporated into a hotel of sophisticated ambience. Conservatory with a good library and armchairs to relax and take tea or have a drink. I felt I was ‘Upstairs‘ in Upstairs Downstairs. Downstairs is a bar that is also soaked in atmosphere. A great bar menu too. Bikes for guests to use for exploring Killarney Park. Easy to get into town but secluded in extensive grounds in the park. Did I mention the helpful happy staff?

This is an amazing property to stay at. The building and grounds are historic and well appointed. Spacious outdoor walking on beautiful grounds with historic building and castle like property. Dining was some of the best we’ve had for both breakfast and dinner. The bar in the basement is a real treat and great place to relax after a long day of touring. Staff and service were amazing and helpful. Everything was perfect.

Beautiful old house with a welcoming roaring fire in reception. Our bedroom was gorgeous and spacious and the views were outstanding. Breakfast was held in a beautiful dining room. The breakfast was substantial and delicious. I went for a pre breakfast walk in the most amazing countryside. I loved every minute of my stay at Cahernane house.

Larkfield house is wonderful. Exceeded all expectations. Located on a quiet road. Room was clean and tidy and cosy. Great variety for breakfast and so well attended to by Kathy and John. Food was delicious and breakfast room looks out onto the garden. Great location for sightseeing, handy to get to Dingle, Ring of Kerry and Cork! Kathy and John are so knowledgeable about the surrounding area, they have a wealth of information which was so helpful. Car parking is available on the premises. Takes 25 - 30 minutes to walk to Killarney Town centre which is great if you have been driving all day, footpath for the entire walk. To be honest John and Kathy made our trip that bit better, such a lovely couple! Could not have done more for us. Always on hand to offer help and information and interested to hear about your day. Thanks for being so lovely!

Larkfield House was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy. Breakfast was well cooked, and the breakfast room was very welcoming. Our hosts were friendly and only too happy to help. Kathy gave us an excellent recommendation for dinner, The Heights Hotel, which was a short 10 minute walk away.

Room with ensuite was modern, clean & had all the necessities. Location was a bit out of town but an easy drive in for dinner & sightseeing. Hosts were friendly & very helpful. Breakfast was delicious & beautifully presented. Highly recommended.

The perfect stay. We will be back and recommending to friends and family for future visits. John and Kathy were such lovely hosts, very friendly and accommodating. They let us check in early to meet our plans. The room was brilliant, incredibly clean. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Extra fluffy blankets and everything. Such an ideal location , right next to all the local sights and a quick drive to the shops. The BNB really has everything you need. The breakfast in the morning was delicious , with both continental options and hot food. We had freshly made scrambled eggs on toast just what we needed for the long journey home. The room was large, quiet and tidy, with a comfortable bed and an electric kettle. I love kettles in the rooms. Free parking. Located within walking distance to the centre where you can find several bars and restaurants. Breakfast was varied and delicious. We will return.

The quarters were super good! The accommodation was super easy to find, both check-in and check-out worked quickly and without any problems, the room was super nice, well-kept and clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was very tasty with lots of choice. Both owners were super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The whole house and garden were beautiful! We can therefore only recommend this quarter from the bottom of our hearts.

This place is absolutely great. It's very close to the center of Killarney but still quiet. The rooms were very clean and peaceful; it felt like we were staying in a mansion. The breakfast, although cold, was of good quality, with several cheeses to choose from, and the bread was also delicious. There was never anything missing because someone was always restocking. But the best part of our stay was the staff. We were greeted by a gentleman—I don't remember his name—but his recommendations were key to our trip. All the staff were very friendly, and we felt at home there. If I return to Killarney, I would definitely stay there again. Unbeatable value for money!

Everything! I went with my mom and we stayed in the bedroom next to the reception, super quiet and big in size. Great location within walking distance to main attractions, delicious breakfast, great recommendations from the owner and her kind attention during our stay, comfortable bed and pillows, very good shower, free parking, lovely place to stay and lovely people working here. I got there way too early because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to get through the streets on St. Patrick's Day. Against my expectations, my room was already ready. The room was totally nice and cozy, very bright, very neat and very clean. The breakfast room was also very nice and the breakfast was really delicious. The parking lot is free of charge. And you are within 5min in the city center (walking).

Gleneagles is so much more than a hotel. It is a leisure centre, a spa and wellness centre, a conference centre, as well as an entertainment venue. Our room was very well appointed and extremely comfortable, with stunning views of the mountains. Dinner may be taken in the bar or in the Fiadh restaurant which has a varied, but none too long menu that features all the best produce that Ireland has to offer. We elected for the latter and my wife ordered baked fillet of salmon, whilst I ordered slow cooked Irish bacon on the bone. Both dishes were sublime and the accompaniments were well cooked and complemented the main ingredient. The restaurant was quite busy and a reservation was required upon check in. Service was generally good, but a little slow and some of the waiting staff were foreign and there were a couple of minor misunderstandings, one such being a request for sweeteners for coffee. Breakfast next morning was extremely good, there was an extensive range of buffet items and several hot dishes cooked to order. It certainly made up for the previous evening’s disappointment with the apple brioche - see below. All in all, I would recommend Gleneagles, it is a 4* star hotel well deserving of its status. It does cater for a wide range of tastes and requirements – there are entertainment events most evenings and it is a great place for a family holiday, a touring/walking/hiking holiday or even a stopover.

:: Hotel Decoration was really nice and festive/ Christmas trees very well decorated and created a lovely atmosphere :: Staff amazing - Carol at reception went above and beyond for us /Kevin also was very accomodating - the waiting staff at dinner (Flesk restaurant greeting host/lady who won server of the year & O'Ds Paulina & David were fantastic) and at breakfast (Oscar) - the bar staff (the red haired guy didnt get his name) was also exceptional; I hope the staff are paid well as they are very good at their jobs and went out of their way for us. We went to the ABBAesque night that was good too. :: Food was very nice - ate in all three dining venues / salmon / fish and chips/ chowder/ potato leek soup / hake/steak/prime rib beef/ ate vegan dessert was ok banana & chocolate cake with icecream (more sorbet) just to try to see if it was nice. Flesk restaurant staff got fresh fruit for my daughter as she didnt like any of dessert options / breakfast was delish very varied with lots of options / fruit/cheese/pancakes/ toppings / cereals/ and full fry with two types of eggs.

Everything about my stay at the Gleneagle was absolutely perfect, I had my 11 year old grandson with my & we both really enjoyed it, bed was comfy, swimming pool excellent, breakfast & dinner absolutely amazing, staff so friendly & helpful, and entertainment for everyone, can't wait to go back, it's a perfect family hotel because everyone is happy

The view from the bedroom was lovely overlooking the mountains and fields. The room was clean and fresh and the bathroom was clean. I was pleased we didn't have a room at the back of the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. The pool was the reason we booked the hotel and it didn't disappoint. The breakfasts were plentiful and the staff in the dining room were friendly and helpful too.

From start to finish the attention to detail, support, customer service and hotel were outstanding. The hotel itself is stunning with an amazing reception and lobby area, lovely comfortable bar and clean modern rooms. The food is the main attraction at the Oaks. In the lead up to the wedding we had food on multiple occasions in the bar and restaurant and it never disappointed and on our wedding day the food and service at each table was stunning with all guests ringing and messaging after to comment on how it was one of the best wedding meals they have had and also saying that from now on when in Killarney the hotel will be there first choice for eating out. The breakfast was amazing also with lots of choice for adults & children. The staff at Oaks went above and beyond for us and all 190 of our wedding guests staying at the hotel from cleaning staff, bar staff , reception staff and the main stars of our show Tara & Donal who deserve a special mention for everything they do 💓

Gorgeous views out front, spacious room with spotless bathroom, comfy beds with loads of tea/coffee and toiletries supplied. Bar food serves huge portions of homemade loveliness (lasagne defeated me!) all classic dishes but very well presented. Staff helpful throughout our week. Breakfast had a good range of cooked breakfast, fruit, breads, pastries, cold meats and juices. Loads of parking.

There’s a private parking area, but it's also possible to park for free right outside, which was very convenient. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. He was friendly, helpful, and made us feel right at home. The rooms are a good size and, most importantly, very clean and well-maintained. There’s also a shared lounge and a dining area where you can enjoy breakfast with your own food. We really appreciated the glass bottles of water that were always available! Overall, I highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Kilkenny. It’s comfortable, clean, and offers great hospitality.

We stayed at the Windway House for 2 nights. We were greeted by Frank, who was very accommodating and helpful. He explained all the facilities of the house and our room. He had a very professional and friendly approach. The room was warm, clean, and cosy. The bathroom was a good size, shower was great and few little facilities in the room were nice to have. Clothes line in the shower if needed, blackout blinds on the window, safe in the room etc. The kitchen facilities were minimal, but this was clearly stated before we got there and I found myself pleasantly surprised with them overall. All in all, we had a wonderful stay, we feel the price was very competitive to others in the area and the location in relation to the town was perfect. Within 10 mins we would be in the heart of Killarney centre so well within walking distance but at a distance where the house itself was in a nice quiet area. Thanks again for having us.

We were welcomed by Frank, our host. (You will arrange a check time between 4 and 7pm if I recall the times correctly). We were able to park our rental car out front and felt like it was a safe location. He verified we were legally parked. The guesthouse has a dining area which is "self catering." There was a refrigerator, microwave, dishes, silverware and tables covered with tablecloths. (Used dishes are left on the table for housekeeping.) A cozy living room was available in the front that we could also enjoy. Frank has a list of recommended places to eat in the entry way. We ate at several of his recommendations and were pleased with the food and service. His guesthouse is a short 5-10 min walk to restaurants and shops in the area. The room had everything we needed including an umbrella to borrow. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Extra blankets were provided if needed. We found the location and street to be quiet. At the end of our stay, Frank helped to arrange a taxi to the train station on the morning we checked out. (We had returned our rental car the night before). He made certain our taxi arrived and wished us safe travels. We would definitely stay here again.

Windway House was a lovely guesthouse, very conveniently located to Killarney’s Main Street. The road was quiet, lined in trees but yet you were so near everything. Our room was equipped with everything we needed. Although breakfast isn’t available as stated, you have full use of dining room with fridge, cutlery, tea, coffee etc so you could bring cereal, yogurts etc for the morning. I must mention how friendly and helpful the host Frank was. He recommended some lovely restaurants nearby. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Windway House and look forward to returning

Myself and my parents had a lovely three day stay in the River Island. From beginning to end, we were very impressed with the hotel and its staff. Actually, before we ever set out for Kerry, I was impressed with how easy they were to deal with when booking, and again when we had to change our dates by a few days. Check-in was easy and welcoming, and the staff couldn't do enough to help us. We ate in the hotel restaurant on two evenings and found the food excellent. They have a nice menu with burgers, fish and chips, bsngers , stir fries etc. Something for most palates I'll bet. Breakfast was excellent, self-service with full Irish, fruits, yoghurts, breads, and tea/coffee, well worth including it in your stay. The room was clean as a whistle, modern, spacious, warm and comfortable. Perfect except for one thing. If you allow the door to close on its own, the spring gives it quite a slam. So the noises from other room doors in the morning and night would lift you out of it. Pity that. The hotel is right on Main Street within easy access to bars, restaurants, takeaways, banks, chemists, etc. No oarking but to be fair, it's free on the street overnight and for 3 hours during the day and the free library carpark is a 2 minute walk. All in all we enjoyed the stay immensely and would be happy to book this hotel again.

We stayed here because we wanted to explore the Ring of Kerry, and it turned out to be the perfect location. The locals were incredibly sweet and welcoming—we ended up having some great evenings playing pool and chatting with them. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and satisfying, and dinner was just as delicious. The staff were wonderful—friendly and full of great recommendations for nearby sights. A great stay all around!

This is one of the designated hotels on our tour. Stayed here 2 nights. [Early morning, our bus driver accidentally backed-up on the front entrance side panel causing the bus' rear glass to shatter. There is a grocery across the street and a convenience store, laundry mat, and (as it turned out to be an excellent) Chinese food take-out restaurant next door. Walking to the main area (shopping/restaurants) of town is only approx 10 minutes. Here, you can hire the jaunting buggy rides to Killarney National Park - worth it! I had a triple room (queen + twin bed). Windows open to cool evening fresh air. Nice big bright bathroom. Shower has great water pressure. Beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast buffet selection was somewhat comparable and redundant to other hotels we've stayed on this tour. More fresh fruits would have been nice. For dinner, I had the seafood soup and curry + rice (bland & boring) dish.

The staff were amazing, very helpful especially Amanda Curran in reception as there was a lot of people parked in the car park because of the Cavan vs kerry match and also stage/hens etc , I didn’t know where to park she helped direct me where to park as I couldn’t find a space she was extremely friendly and professional and was amazing under the pressure along with the new staff member who was in training with everyone including ourselves trying to check in all at the same time . Stayed here 3 times now I never pass it when going to Killarney location is perfect right beside the town and just fair enough not to get the loud fuss from the town, food is incredible and washed down with some fairly decent pints(at good value) , the beer garden at the front is just perfect especially when the sun is hitting, the bar was crowded with people so a great environment the gaa was playing, bar staff where off there feet but fair play to them just like the Kerry Men when playing Cavan that weekend cool as cumbers no pressure to them …bedrooms spotless couldn’t fault them bed comfortable Al you have everything you need and TV you can watch Netflix on. There is a shop right next door and across the road so if you need to fuel up or get treats it’s right there .

The reception staff were customer-friendly and welcoming. The room itself was comfortable and exceptionally clean. Plenty of closet space and hangers. The bed was super comfortable with plenty of extra pillows if needed. The bathroom was newly refurbished with plenty of fresh, white towels and toiletries. Breakfast was delicious, hot and the variety would suit all tastes. Staff in the breakfast room were again efficient and very friendly. There was nothing I would change about this hotel. It's very convenient in its location as it's about a 10-minute walk from the centre of Killarney or the staff at reception will order a taxi for you. Absolutely wonderful experience! LeeAnne and her team were extremely helpful and welcoming. Rooms were clean and comfortable with everything we needed for the night. The irish Pub in the hotel was perfect for dinner and a pint, extremely warm and inviting Food selection was decent and the restaurant also located in the hotel offered a more refined feeling for those wanting that experience. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a double room For the price this was fantastic deal and our Favorite hotel experience. Killarney is a beautiful, friendly town with a great selection of shops,cafes and pubs. Came here for one night with my daughter as we'd booked the pamper and prosecco package. For €149 each we got an overnight day, a 30 minute treatment each in the spas with either a glass of prosecco or a smoothie. Also included was breakfast and a two course evening meal consisting of a main course and a trio of mini desserts. Firstly I can't say how much we were welcomed at reception. The staff are very friendly. The spa was fabulous and the ladies doing the treatments are very professional and kind. Dinner was very nice. My only issue would be that I asked for a coffee with my dessert and was told this would cost extra. I do think tea and coffee should be included with the meal. Breakfast was lovely too. Our room was clean and presented well. It was cold though and the heating wasn't working which was disappointing. However these minor issues could be resolved easily by the hotel staff for future guests. We would definitely stay here again as it's fantastic value for money

We had a fantastic stay! The place was immaculately clean and much more spacious than we expected — perfect for relaxing after a long day of hiking and exploring. Beautiful property and surrounding area, which we explored via bikes from the hotel. You need to book a time for the pool/sauna/jacuzzi area ahead of your arrival. Lovely breakfast and dining available on site was pricey but excellent. We had to pay for a taxi from the bus station to the hotel, but the concierge helped us arrange it.

We got an upgrade to a Superior Double Room and truly enjoyed our time there. The room was spacious, with the bathroom having both a walk-in shower and a bathtub. The service of the turn-down team was a plus and we appreciated the way they prepared the room for a restful night. Having arrived quite late at the hotel we only had time for dinner that evening and didn't get to use the tea room. However, we did look inside and it was lovely. At dinner, the staff was pleasant, especially Lucian, who was very friendly and recommended some great dishes and drinks. We were very happy to find him at breakfast the next morning and he was kind enough to offer us some treats for the road and ideas for sightseeing. The reception staff was accommodating and booked us spa time for the following morning so we did get to enjoy the facilities. The spa area had a truly unique design with many indoor jacuzzis and one outdoor. Furthermore, multiple saunas and a tropical shower made the experience even more pleasant. P.S. Do visit Killarney National Park, which is just across the road from the hotel.

Our stay was amazing. Elegant, so comfortable, so clean, so luxurious! The staff was attentive from the check in to the restaurant with the included breakfast to the check out where they offered us water for our day. Our stay was our splurge day on our trip around Ireland. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer to take advantage of the spa and amenities.

Lovely overnight stay at the Parkavon Hotel. Great location- located on the main road into Killarney centre so 15 min walk to get to the main restaurants and pubs etc. Very convenient. Staff were welcoming and helpful. We booked a family room so it was a pleasant surprise to have two separate (adjoining) rooms (one for our children and one for us). Bedrooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Facilities were great too! The pool was a big bonus! We used the pool, sauna, jacuzzi, and steam room. Slightly dated facilities but our children loved the pool nonetheless. Thank you for a great stay!

My stay was exceptional. The reception staff provided a friendly and efficient check-in experience. Breakfast was delightful, and dinner in the bar was both delicious and served by highly attentive and helpful staff. Despite a busy bar, the staff maintained excellent service. I look forward to returning.

Family rooms were spacious, clean and well equipped. We had a baby and 2 kids and the room was set up with the travel cot and sofa bed already made up. Family room had two bedrooms, double and sofa bed in one and a double bed in the other. Excellent! We booked the pool for the kids and while it's small it was perfect as we had it too ourselves, again it was clean and the water was perfect temperature. Breakfast was brilliant, all you could ask for in a buffet, kids well catered for and we were even put in a quieter area as the staff were mindful of the baby for us and other diners. We had dinner in the bar and again it couldn't be faulted, reasonably priced high standard pub grub.

The room was perfect, very spacious & very quiet. we had our granddaughter with us who is only 2 years old, it was very important that she was able too sleep. Staff were very helpful especially in the resturant for breakfast when one young man went above & beyond to help me get my granddaughter’s breakfast. He was wonderful & a great help. Girls on reception were also very helpful & very friendly. Great staff at this hotel.

Beautiful hotel in a great location with excellent views of Killarney National Park. Very large room with comfortable bed and luxurious bathroom. The only negative for the room was that there is no air conditioning - only large windows and a small fan. Given rain, birds and music from a large party, we wanted to keep our windows closed, but it was just too warm in the room otherwise. Great restaurants and bars. Live music in the bar was great. Fitness, pool and spa facilities are amazing. Finding a parking space in the parking lot was a bit difficult - the lot seems very small given the number of hotel rooms. Very convenient location (a little outside of Killarney) for exploring the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula.

Very comfortable room, with good quality bedding and extremely quiet, even though the hotel was completely full. Fine bathroom, with full bath tub, even in the cheaper room. Some nice touches overall, such as a table with complimentary take-away teas and coffee when you leave the restaurant after the breakfast buffet, good quality bath robes for visiting the spa, and table fans in the room due to the recent heat in Kerry. Speaking of fans, I'm not a fan of the ill-advised fish motif on the bedroom wallpaper or the ugly radiator stuck vertically up the side of the wall by the bed, but, other than, the room is very restful and nicely furnished (if a bit cramped in the cheaper room). The highlight has to . be the pool and spa area, which must be one of the best for any hotel in Ireland, and, amazingly, not crowded at all even on an otherwise busy week-end in August. All the staff come across as genuinely interested, but not sycophantic, and very helpful and cheerful all the time. Overall, a very nice feel, even if the hotel looks like a Seventies office-block from the outside. Would definitely stay again, even in winter time, as the spa is so inviting. Rates can vary greatly online, so worth checking a few times.

I did not want to leave! from the moment you enter the lobby you know this hotel is going to be amazing. The views are unparalleled. The lounge has fireplaces. Tons of views of the lake and mountains. There’s a beautiful quaint library. We ate the the hotel for several meals and really enjoyed ourselves. The room was spacious and comfortable. Only downside is no air conditioning. If you are used to that, you will likely need to request a fan or keep doors open at night if you’re into that. We decided to keep our doors shut overnight but it might have been cooler had we felt comfortable keeping them open. All in all, this was a fabulous and memorable stay. Would recommend extremely highly!!

The hotel itself is wonderful. Service was very good. Staff at the lounge and other restaurants were friendly and very professional. The food was far above expectations. Our only issue was that the room we booked was located on level -1(the basement). It was selected because it was advertised as a garden view with a balcony. While the view was good, the room is located near the parking garage entrance and the laundry. I would never have booked this room if I knew it's location. Also, the room did not have a working safe or thermostat, so the room was sub-tropical.

Lovely room in a very quiet location. Very friendly host. Great breakfast!! Rooms looked to be recently renovated and everything was spotlessly clean. Great location for visiting the Ring of Kerry and many nearby walks. Plenty of restraurants available in the nearby town of Killorglin. The Bianconi Inn is a good restaurant, and Jack's Bakery makes great sandwiches for a lunch while hiking.

Hosts were very warm, helpful and kind. Eileen even heated and plated up my son's take away! Their dogs were great too. It was super clean and fresh, and the rooms were big with great views. The tea and coffee facilities and breakfast were in the same room which encouraged guests to chat with each other.

Eileen was so welcoming and friendly! And the bathroom was very large and accommodating. The breakfast was absolutely exceptional. So many menu items to choose from, included with the price. The property itself was beautiful, and the town nearby was so adorable. It was also quite fun chatting with other travelers over breakfast. Extremely high value for the price! And so nearby many tourist places.

Eileen is such a lovely and welcoming host, such a wonderful soul. We were welcomed to her place and given all the information we could possibly need to have the best stay possible. The house was very cosy and spotless. The area is so quiet! Our breakfast was gorgeous. Thank you for having us, Eileen!

This is an old historic hotel that has beautiful dining and bar architecture. The room we stayed in was on the top floor and nice and roomy with a well renovated bathroom and a view of the national forest and town square. The guest services is well done and courteous, but my only real complaint is the bar and dining staff, surprisingly it seems that they are disgruntled with frowns and would not come to the table. Plenty of bar tenders and we were able to overcome there lack of wait service by going directly to the bar, and I might add that the food was very good. Otherwise, it was good experience and would have given it a five star experience with better dining and bar service. I also might add that there was what I believe the wait staff manager that was very nice and working her tail off doing a lot of the work because the other waitresses were slow and not very productive.

Very large and clean room. Staff were efficient and helpful. The location is great and walkable into Killarney with all the shopping bars and restaurants. We had dinner one evening ta the hotel which was good and the breakfasts were excellent. The car park is tiny and awkward and this is the only downside to the property.

It was nice to be pampered and well attended after a few bnbs. We finished Dingle loop early so we arrived early. Room wasn't ready but was told about Killarney House and Gardens. Nice walk and tour. Had lunch and room was ready. Very nice traditional hotel worth every penny. Staff was great. Breakfast in the morning was very good. They had the buffet which started at 7:30 but we were getting an early start and was served off the menu. Got a little noisy when the tour group came down to eat. We had finished our quiet full Irish breakfast by the time the crowd came in. Room alone was worth the price breakfast just added to the value.

Highest recommendations for the Torc Hotel and its wonderful staff. The location (Killarney) is an excellent launching pad for tourists, such as myself, who enjoy trekking throughout the southwestern Kerry and Cork peninsulas (Dingle- 25 min to Castlemaine; Iveragh- 30 min to Kenmare; Beara- 30 min to Knockduragh; as well as Sheep’s Head and Mizen Head- 2 hours to each point) but do not want to have to unpack and repack to move to a new location everyday. It offers ample, free parking and is just outside of the busy town center, which is a plus for me as it provides a quiet retreat. The hotel has full breakfast service for its guests and serves meals 7 days per week, even off-season. This latter is especially convenient as during off-season, it can be very difficult to find an open restaurant in the aforementioned areas. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Generous pours on beverages. The hotel is very quaint (still uses actual keys for their rooms) but the rooms have been updated with modern bathrooms and fixtures (everything is shiny and clean). The beds are luxurious (very comfortable mattresses and comforters). The wait staff (both breakfast and restaurant/bar detail) are super friendly and attentive. I’ve been a B&B-er guest in Ireland for many years, but for the above reasons, I think I’ve found a home away from home with the Torc Hotel. I will definitely be back every year!

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The food in the restaurant I also found great. I have stopped there twice since when I passed for food as along with the lovely food there is plenty of parking. The staff in the restaurant are also very friendly and are always so welcoming and are always open for a friendly conversation with you, another reason why I like stopping here for food when I'm passing. As I've been in enough restaurants where the only time they will talk to you is when they are taking your order so this is a refreshing change. The room itself was very clean and a great size.

Really nice hotel and friendly staff. The breakfast was fantastic. We had one problem which was sorta not the hotel's fault - there was a huge group of awfully drunk rude people at the restaurant when we were eating dinner which kind of ruined it. Suggestion to bar/restaurant staff for the future - please don't over-serve people who are obviously already quite sloppy drunk and yelling and cursing at the top of their lungs - especially when there are children trying to eat. Thank you!

Location was great for the town centre & local places of interest. House & garden were immaculate, hosts were absolutely lovely, Julia was very friendly & knowledgeable about the area. Emily the daughter was so helpful with my dental emergency, & directions. Breakfast was delicious. Room was serviced regularly. Bed was super comfy. The facilities were amazing. Ample Parking. Julia could not do enough for you. Both Julia & John met us on arrival, & Julia saw us off. We were sad to leave but will highly recommend, & hope to return one day.

Breakfast was delicious. Coffee and tea-making facilities are not provided in the room or in the lobby (as was stated on the website). Once one asks for a coffee, the owners are more than happy to make it for you. The entire family are very friendly and present a welcoming atmosphere. The location is quite far outside Killarney so transportation is a necessity. No prospect of being able to walk there- something to remember for those arriving by bus or train.

My hubby and I just stayed for one night. Location was convienent, room and ensuite clean and cozy. Best part was breakfast. We got amazing hot breakfast at the time we requested. The other couple had a different customized breakfast (cheese, bread, fruit). Room was just a little tight but enough for what we needed. They had maps of town, dining recommendations. Property was close to many restaurants/pubs. The apartment we were given (a one and a nine) was spacious for 3 people. 2 bedrooms. The bedroom with the double bed had a bathroom attached, however, the shower was extremely small and I am a small woman. The bedroom with 2 twin beds was a good size and had a great view. The bathroom was right next door and had a tub and was a nice big size. Neither room had a tv, which we really wanted. Did not use the living room because the couch was too small and uncomfortable along with the two chairs. It did have a tv but we wanted to lay down and watch tv. The kitchen was spacious but the kitchen table too small. There was a washer/dryer but when we asked about it, we were discouraged from using it. Our main complaint was about the wifi since we are traveling from abroad. It did not work and when I told the front desk, they were unapologetic and uncaring.

Amazing property! This new and totally modern property is in the middle of everything in Killarney with all the comforts of home including secure car park. Perfect base for exploring Killarney National Park and the Iveragh Peninsula (Ring of Kerry), and the spacious living area and clothes washer make it a convenient mid-trip stop for continuing on the road. Piret Purcell was a great help on arrival and each day we saw her, expert on the building and any question we had. A pleasure all around, this stay was a great reset during our holiday. We should have booked more nights!

Great apartments right in the center of Killarney, within walking distance to great restaurants, shops and nightly entertainment. We were a party of 8 and rented 2 apartments for our stay. Everyone was comfortable and we had plenty of space. Two bathrooms in each apartment made sharing easy. Place was clean, the staff was friendly and the nightly rate very affordable, making this stay a win-win! In addition, there was below ground parking for our van so we didn't have to search for on-street parking! Killarney is a beautiful town and we had a great time at Park Place Apartments.

Property was in an excellent area to go bar hopping! Had free parking underground rooms were clean bed were super comfortable. Only complaint is the rooms where hot had to leave windows open but could hear people screaming coming home drunk from bars. The communication wasn’t the best from host either I messaged 3 before check in and no reply. Got to the front desk they had a number to call but it did work.

The perfect home away from home! From the moment we checked in, Brida and Andrew were absolutely delightful and helpful. It was so cosy, coffee and tea always available. Beds were comfortable, the room was warm. Iron available in the room. Easy walk to the town centre. Breakfast was delicious. I can't recommend Ardree House enough!

The breakfast and the breakfast room were quaint and peaceful with the mountains in view of the glass arbor. The rooms are simple, but so comfortable. It's all you need, especially if you're like us and going out into Ireland all day. It's also a very short and easy walk into the downtown area of Killarney which is so much fun and so cute! Four stars across the board in my book!

The B&B was great. It was clean and the rooms were a great size. The staff was friendly and showed a map of places in the area to eat and historical sites to visit. The location was less than a 5 min walk into the city centre. We did not choose to have breakfast here, but the buffet was €5 extra and the full breakfast was €10 extra. We had breakfast in town at a small cafe.

We were very pleased with our stay at Ardree House. The location was an easy walk into the main area of town and also the bus and train station. It has been many years since we stayed in a B&B and here it felt more like hotel service in a B&B setting. The room was very comfortable and spacious. We had daily service of them making our beds and replacing towels etc. The staff was also very helpful to recommend places to dine in town, book a taxi for us and they accomodated us for an earlier breakfast for the day my husband had an early departure for a golf game. Breakfast did start at 8 which we found to be a bit late when we were trying to catch our tour.

Clean, quiet, fresh and in an excellent location. An easy walk from the train station and the places to see in Killarney. The staff is personable and professional, ensuring that your experience is as memorable as possible-even to the extent of running to the train station with the passport you might leave behind! (Thank you again for that!).

The room was big, loved the jacuzzi in the bath. Leisure centre was good, steam room, swimming pool and sauna.

We stayed 4 nights here as we were going to a local wedding. Our room 243 was clean and spacious with a jacuzzi bath and very hot water. The only downside was the walk from the lift along many many corridors to the next to last room in the hotel. If we were not fit the walk could have been too much. Only a small gripe.

This hotel is in a great location! Lots of bars and restaurants and shopping very close. Staff was mixed - some very friendly, some not so friendly. I didn’t use any amenities (restaurant, bar, pool, etc). There is 1 ice machine and it was out of order, but the bar gave us ice. The bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. The lobby is modern, but the floors and rooms reminded us of the Shining. Clean, but outdated and a bit spooky. There is no parking. There is a public lot across the street, but weekends can be busy. Lots of taxis in the area.

Perfect location if you want to be in the heart of the town. If you like quiet time before midnight on the weekend this is not your place. There are a lot of live bands that play directly below and across from the hotel and a lot of people partying and having a good time. Lots of places within 5 min walking distance to eat/drink. Parking is offsite in an open lot that is about a 7 min walk away. The town seemed safe, even at night though. Breakfast was decent, nothing to write home About. It was about the same continental breakfast as every other hotel- Irish breakfast options, yogurt, pastries, eggs, fruit. The departure area for the Ring of Kerry bus tours is 5 min walk from the hotel. This tour was good, but we caught it on a rainy day. I would highly recommend driving the Dingle peninsula/Slea Head Drive which was far better than the Ring of Kerry tour, in my opinion. Overall, this was my favorite hotel we stayed at amongst the 5 hotels we visited. I would definitely go back.

Just back from a 2 night stay in Killarney Royal Hotel. A warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff. We got to see a lot more of Killarney than expected in our short time there thanks to the excellent advice from Valeria on reception, and enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the restaurant with exceptional service from Kiran and the restaurant staff. Breakfast was delicious and portions generous, all serving staff were friendly and helpful and housekeeping excellent. Renovations to the rooms on 1st floor, so we allowed for some disruption, but it was well managed with no disturbance or noise while we were in the hotel (we were out during the day). The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. We took advantage of complementary pool/gym facilities in the Great Southern Hotel (2 mins walk). Altogether loved our first visit to Kerry and that's very much thanks to the standard of accommodation and service in this lovely little hotel. Looking forward to our next visit.

While taking a road trip through Southern Ireland, we were lucky enough to stay at the Killarney Royal Hotel. I have never left a review on this site, but felt the need to after our experience at the hotel. Veronica was without question amazing. Upon our arrival, she gave us perfect recommendations for our evening — activities, shops, and restaurants throughout the town. All of them were exactly what we were hoping for during our visit. However, upon our return that evening, we were able to chat with Veronica (during a quiet period downstairs) about our trip and experiences thus far and our goals for the remainder. Veronica listened to our goals and helped us draft up an itinerary for the remainder of our road trip. The following morning, when we went to check out, she even gave us a handwritten list of the itinerary with notes and recommendations. We can not thank Veronica and the Killarney Royal Hotel for the amazing experience we had. Over the course of the road trip, we traveled approximately 1,000 km in our loop of Southern Ireland and stayed at many hotels, but our stay at the Killarney Royal Hotel was the best. It was clean, personable, memorable, but most importantly the customer service we received from Veronica was without question a highlight. You can tell she loves her job and is incredibly good at it.

This hotel was everything that I’d hope for. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming! The air conditioner is also a great touch for all my American tourists! The location is perfect. Very close to good pubs and restaurants. If you choose to eat at the hotel (Fig), I would highly recommend the Rigatoni and Caesar salad. Fantastic! I have to give credit to the staff at the hotel, particularly Aaron and Yuliia. Aaron is extremely friendly and I never saw him without a smile on his face! He is warm and welcoming and gave great advice on where to go in town! Yullia is incredibly sweet and kind. She was at the desk when I arrived later at the hotel and made sure I had everything that I needed. She embodies the hospitality of Ireland. This was my first visit to Ireland and I am so impressed by the location, hotel, and staff. Bravo! I will be back.

We've just checked out after a fabulous stay in the Killarney Royal and we haven't stopped talking about how fantastic our stay was. From the greeting when we walked in the door the first day, every member of staff we encountered was friendly, energetic and professional. The team were the perfect example of what good Irish hospitality should be! A special mention to Aaron in the bar for his chats, craic and keeping the drinks flowing, he is a credit to hotel. As is Joanne, who we met at breakfast and couldn't have done enough for us, as a Coeliac, her knowledge and service made me feel comfortable eating there and breakfast itself was great, cooked to perfection and a great choice available! We stayed in the self-catering golf lodges on site as we walked the kerry way. Accommodation was perfect, lovely warm water for baths and showers, fully equipped kitchen, use of pool, jacuzzi and sauna a bonus, already recommending to anyone interested. The great: Location, 2k to Fossa, 2k to Killarney. Very attractive low rise hotel. On the Fossa Way. The stunning views from the bedroom, the bar and the restaurant. The bedroom. The beds. The lovely lady who did the daily room cleaning, The many walks from the hotel. More than one beautiful walkway into Killarney Town. Reception staff Michelle and Orla. The heat in the bedroom, thank you. The not as great: Get a few games for residents. There were none at reception. Charity shops are full of adult and child games for a few euros. Pool, steam room and jacuzzi need to be upgraded to modern standards. Breakfast managers just doing their job, no more. More personality and customer focus needed. Breakfast good but nothing special, particularly for vegetarians. No fresh blueberries, raspberries, strawberries etc. There was fresh melon and watermelon but sad looking tinned grapefruit. Worst of all was the porridge. It was lifeless, thin, too watery, possibly overcooked. It's not difficult to make porridge. I said it to the manager on duty each morning, but nothing changed. I mentioned it to one of the staff who told me he makes porridge every day, but never eats the hotel porridge.

Where to start? What an amazing place, the reception staff are so welcoming and the general air of the hotel itself is just so inviting. The location within the national park over looking the lakes is incredible - cycling or walking with children is a dream as there is no fear of traffic and every amenity is on your doorstep. The rooms are lovely -we had a double and 2 singles for the children and it was ideal. The complimentary shower gels, shampoo and water are a lovely touch. We stayed for 2 nights during Halloween - 2 B&B and 2 dinners and it was out of this world. It was amazing value for the money and the dining experience was fabulous. Breakfast was lovely with a well stocked buffet or a hot menu of special orders. A great selection of all manor of breakfast foods, cereals/ breads/ cakes. Beautiful fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheeses and meat. very well maintained, refilled and excellent service from being seated to being served. The dinner menu changed every night and there was a gorgeous selection of food - fresh, tasty and beautifully presented. Our two children had the Salmon both nights and they were delighted, which is not an easy feat. Service from the waiting staff was excellent - they were friendly and courteous at all times. The leisure centre pool is great and very child friendly. There is a kids club though we did not avail. Overall a brilliant experience, we will most definitely be back, in fact I cannot wait.

Lovely friendly staff. The hotel had beautiful grounds and stunning views of the lake and mountains. We did a long walk along the estate through beautiful woodland, even saw some wild deer! We had dinner in the bar as we didn't fancy the restaurant. The food was okay, wasn't anything hugely special. Mocktails were delicious. Great bit of live traditional music in the evening. Room was very comfortable, beds were lovely and soft. Room wasn't too hot or cold. It was so quiet too! No screaming kids or banging doors. We didn't get round to using the pool facilities but we were told it was strictly kid free in the evenings which would be a huge bonus. Breakfast in the upstairs restaurant room was divine, lots of choice and all freshly prepared. Hot buffet was delicious. Beautiful views of the mountains.

A great location - so close to Killarney National Park, and the town center as well -Hotel Killarney had everything we needed for our stay. A modern, comfortable room (very comfy bed); modern, impeccably clean bathroom with sheet towels (bonus!), and excellent water pressure. The hotel also had a wonderful breakfast spread (hot offerings, multiple breads, cereals, yogurts, cheese, pastries…etc. We did not go hungry!). We loved it. The food was so great, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night, and it was also fabulous. If there is a downside to the place, it’s a minor one. The hotel is rather large - so you could wind up as we did: on the top floor, about as far away from the reception area and restaurant as I think you could get. That could make for a bit of a trek each time you need to go for for a meal, or for a day exploring the area. (Upside of that? We really got our steps in!). We were in Ireland for almost 2 weeks, and Hotel Killarney was by far the best place we stayed in terms of room, hospitality, food … and value too. 10 out of 10. 🙂

Despite being a bit far from the main streets of Killarney (15 min walk each time) it was a busy but great hotel to stay at. Large breakfast buffet and restaurant/lounge, friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable room. A little bit of noise from hallway and other rooms despite being in 'quiet' section but otherwise excellent place to stay.

My Wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. The Staff were amazing. Friendly and helpful beyond the normal attention to detail. It's a Family oriented Hotel, so be ready for giggles of laughter and smiling parents... Meal time in the evening can get busy, but the Staff will get you seated so don't worry. The Hotel is a 20 minute walk from Killarney, and boy l needed it after a Hearty Breakfast. The positive of the distance from the Town is watching Rabbit's nibbling in the Grounds of the Hotel in the Mornings 🐰

The resort is a short distance from Killarney town centre, a 2km walk away, it is right on the lakes, the views all around are beautiful, the houses are extremely spacious with a lovely big living room and 2 huge bedrooms, so warm and cosy, all staff I encountered were very friendly and professional and the price was so good I had been worried it would be a disaster. Pool was great too open from 7.30 am to 9pm with jet seat, sauna, jacuzzi, toddler pool etc.

We stayed in a 2 bed house for 6 adults, it had all the amenities that we needed for a very comfortable 2 night stay. The bedrooms were plenty big and each room had it's own bathroom. We used the restaurant on site one evening and the food was delicious and the view from the restaurant was stunning. We used the pool and the jacuzzi and had a lovely time whilst doing so. Staff were friendly and the houses were clean. We got a taxi in and out of Killarney town and I think the cost was about €12 and we had no issues getting a taxi. We were only sorry our stay was so short as the house was ideal for us but we will book again when we return.

The location was lovely with a beautiful view. We stayed in the self catering chalets which were spacious, clean and very well equipped. A homely feel. It was off season ( 25th & 26th Feb)so we had to collect the keys from someone in the leisure centre. The hotel was closed but we had the use of the facilities-gym, swimming pool. The staff were very friendly & informative. The day before our arrival we got a very friendly phone call to remind us that the main hotel was closed and where to collect the keys from. It was a quiet location and we slept very well. It was a family holiday so 2 adults and 3 kids( 2 of which are teens). The accomodation was spacious & comfortable enough for us all. I would strongly recommend the your establishment. It's a credit to all the team involved to have such a well run establishment. Hats- off!

We stayed here as a family and really enjoyed our stay. Friendly welcome from Mary the owner and nice spacious room overlooking the beautiful river. The communal area has a really nice sitting room with sofas looking out on the water and a roaring fire to keep you warm. There are also seated balcony areas to sit out and enjoy the view. Best hotel stay so far. Apart from the brilliant entertainment we had pre booked, this hotel exceeded our expectations. The delivery of a continental breakfast to our door was a fantastic touch! A birthday card and a box of chocolates for my husband were waiting for him in the room - I hadn’t asked for this so it was a lovely surprise. I had mentioned to the girl I booked with weeks before that it was my hubby’s birthday so I guess she made a note of that and arranged it. Such a thoughtful gesture. Also, we had arranged to meet up with my parents for their 50th wedding anniversary as they were staying nearby and the restaurant staff went above and beyond to make a big fuss of them that evening, it was so lovely and very much appreciated , they brought out the cake I had hidden with them earlier and then brought out a decorated plate of sweet treats afterwards too, fantastic surprise and it made Mum and Dad’s day to be fussed over. Every single staff member was helpful, pleasant and friendly. No matter how busy they were always efficient and polite. The food was amazing and the range of choices to eat or drink either in peace or a bustling environment was amazing. Our room was modern and yet so cosy, loved the rainfall shower. We were so impressed and delighted that we booked again before we even left for our own anniversary in August. Highly recommend this stay 😊

Stayed here for 3 nights during our time in Killarney. Couldn’t fault anything. Room was spacious and clean with a lovely view of the mountains. Loved the quirky decor and the significance placed on sustainability in the hotel. Breakfast box delivered to the room each morning was delicious and a great way to start our morning. Staff at the Gleneagle were helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking surrounding the hotel and free entertainment every night for residents. Gorgeous food and cocktails in O’Ds Restaurant. Shuttle bus to Killarney town also provided but only a short journey in a taxi. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to stay in Killarney!

The view from the room was amazing, we could see mountains lying on the bed, very clean, really liked the large shower head and coffee machine with selection of high quality coffees. Was enough space to unpack, cooked breakfast very nice, big selection, also cold breakfast box in the morning was lovely. Very happy with the spa/massage I got, professional and relaxing.

This is my second time visiting Glamping at the Grove and its just as amazing when I went last year! I stayed in one of the romantic tents. The location was amazing, quiet, yet near enough to the town centre. And very private! There's a little trail you can follow from the tents where you can sit and relax. The kitchen area is outside too, with everything provided: fridge/freezer, bbq, teapot and tea/coffee provided for you! Perfect to see the sun rise in the morning! The tent itself is spacious and the bed very comfy. If a little cold, the heated blanket is amazing! And fully functional central heating aswell. The bathroom attached was very clean and the shower was spacious. Hot water came straightaway, no waiting needed. And plenty of towel were provided which was great! Also, the owners were very accommodating with my situation; I had two seperate bookings and they made sure I was in the same tent throughout my stay which I really appreciated. Also, I had to change my check-in time, and again, they were so easy to message, and they replied within minutes. Can't explain how amazing they were!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a truly magical glamping adventure, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The sound of the river close by made us super relaxed straight away. The romantic glamping suit was beautifully decorated and equipped with all the comforts of home, including a cozy bed. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, and even offered to post the items we left behind accidently back to our home. One of the highlights was the incredible outdoor space – our private porch with a breathtaking view was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The evenings were made extra special with subtle outdoor lighting and our own BBQ space. We loved the blend of adventure and comfort – hiking trails and nature walks during the day, followed by hot showers and a plush bed at night. This glamping experience exceeded all our expectations and provided the perfect balance of nature and comfort. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or just a peaceful retreat, this is the place to be. We can't wait to return and create more wonderful memories!

I really enjoyed my stay in the glamping. it's only 4 minutes from the city and yet it's so quiet and peaceful. The place was created with the privacy of its guests in mind and you feel like there's no one else around. It’s charming, cozy, clean, with a great bed and good shower. The small kitchen has everything you need to make a quick breakfast or dinner. I would highly recommend this place.

An absolutely incredible experience we had in killarney glamping. We will definitely be returning. I could not recommend it enough, the place is so comforting and welcoming. Its so peaceful and has such ideal parking on site. We stayed for 2 days and the owners/staff are fabulous,we encountered one minor issue with our door on arrival and it was resolved immediately witch was amazing. The sauna is a must do experience with such a gorgeous view of a river and is so private we absolutely loved it. The room and beds are so comfortable and the room has everything you need and the BBQ is ideal and so easy to use. From our experience we would highly recommend it.

Wow! Such an amazing stay! We stayed for two nights for a friends wedding. Firstly, Gretta was so lovely and welcoming. She gave us all the information we needed and helped us organise a taxi to our wedding reception. Room was lovely and cosy and was impeccable, amazingly clean!!! Loads of parking outside and situated in a lovely quiet estate less than 10 minutes walk to the centre of Killarney! We were wrecked on the second day after the wedding so napped during the day. When we woke, there was a little package at our door with some toiletries and fresh bottles of water; such a lovely touch! Last but definitely not least, was breakfast! WOW it was amazing! Best breakfast we have ever had and better than any we’ve had in 5 star hotels! Gretta makes beautiful home made scones and their menu has loads of options, not just a full Irish cooked breakfast. Poached/scrambled/fried eggs were all absolutely perfect both mornings. Literally couldn’t rave about it enough!! Gretta, you are a lady and you have such a beautiful business. Thank you for looking after us!

From the minute we arrived and greeted by our host Greta until we left with a warm cheerio, this was a great night's stay in what is a very welcoming and well appointed bed and breakfast This was an excellent facility with well appointed room which was exceptionally clean and warm. Good to see that there was bottled water in the room which helped if we wanted to make tea/coffee. Very comfortable bed and the shower was brilliant with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious, all cooked fresh and the home made scones were an added bonus. Algret House is no more than a gentle 10 minute stroll into the centre of Killarney but it is far enough from the centre to guarantee no excessive road noise from traffic. Without doubt if we are ever back in Killarney, we will certainly be looking at staying in the Algret Bed and Breakfast again. A gem of a place at a very reasonable price.

Algret House is a lovely Bed & Breakfast in Killarney. A 5-10 minute stroll from the centre of town which is full of Irish delights. From being met and welcomed by our host, the effervescent and ever so friendly Greta, we felt most comfortable and very much at home. Easy parking for a car is a bonus. The room space is reasonable but more importantly it is clean and tidy with a comfortable bed for sleeping. The ensuite is of reasonable size with all facilities working well. Coffee, tea and biscuits are available in the room while toiletries are also supplied. After a day out, our room was serviced including fresh towels, with minimum fuss. Breakfast was delicious including home made scones and a light or heavier meal as desired. Fruit for a light snack later, is also available. Overall a well run and inviting B&B accommodation.

Greta was an absolute angel of a woman. So welcoming and kind and the entire house was so clean. Breakfast service was exceptional and Greta was very attentive to all the guests there. It's true what they say, her cherry scones are amazing but the rest of breakfast was delicious as well. Overall an amazing experience and I will stay here again if I ever find myself back in Killareny.

Just had the most wonderful stay at Algret House. It even exceeded my expectations, which were promising from the reviews already. Greta really is the loveliest and most welcoming person you could wish to meet. Honestly, I'm considering going back just to see her and Alfie, who I should mention is much the same and does an amazing breakfast, which, in my opinion, surpasses a high-end hotel . All fresh and cooked to perfection with the best ingredients. The B&B is near to town but on a really quiet road. It is very comfortable and spotlessly clean, again better than most hotels and easily better than anything else for price. I think Greta's nature and the lovely atmosphere rubbed off on all guests, too, as everyone was happy smiling calm and polite at breakfast. Absolutely nothing to fault at this five-star (in my opinion) B&B

We love everything! Willian and Bex are very nice and accommodating. They gave clear instructions for self check-in. The pod is very clean. Perfect location with lots of grocery stores and restaurants around the area. Food delivery is also accessible. They also sell beers and wines . The honesty box is so cute! As if you are living in a forest with convenient and chill life :) I also recommend to book the private jacuzzi and sauna. They also have fire pit to feel the real experience of glamping.

The pods are located on a large private property (with a gate) that is shared by 3 houses. One owner, William (lovely host) has divided his parcel in 7 pods, a half reversed barrel, creating a space of about 25m2 on the ground. It does look like a hobbit house but it is high enough to stand and not burried. It is amazingly quiet, even if Just off the big road crossing Killarney. So it is easy to go to town (1.5km, very busy with buses of American tourists) and to go out to nature without enduring noise. PLus, the pods are meant for 2 people, mostly couples. NO children, no parties, adding to the quietness. The pods are quite recent, so nice, clean, well organised, comfy. Well out of view from one another, so very private! THere are 3 spaces, the bed is in front with a sofa and a table. At the back is a tiny kitchenette and a bathroom that is great. The kitchen has a sink, a microwave, a coffee machine, a toaster and a tiny fridge, but NO hot plate to cook an egg or spaghetti. William was just sorting a BBQ area with a hot plate but we did not use it. The space is tiny, though, but that reminds us that it is glamping, so with a camping aspect, not an hotel. The weather was perfect and we could use the private sitting area outside the pod, to have breakfast and dinner. THe location is perfect to visit the Killarney National park, and drive the ring of Kerry. Also Dingle but a bit far (1h20). All three great places to visit. Wifi available!

Our stay in the pods was absolutely great! Everything was impeccable clean and cosy, the owner (William) was beyond welcoming and friendly (and million thanks for rescuing my student ID!). The location is superb - just a short walk to the National Park if you are a hiking person / forest lover like ourselves and an even shorter walk to the city if you’re ever in need of anything. A couple of convenience stores are there at gas stations along the way, so all bases are covered. The area is indeed very calm and quiet, most of the pods were occupied during our stay but we were never once disturbed and felt 100% privacy. Will definitely recommend to anyone who wants to relax in a cozy, quiet, well thought out space.

My stay was amazing !!! Bernie and Seamu are exceptional hosts, welcoming, friendly, and discreet. The room is very comfortable,spacious, warm, with a cozy bed, and an amazing view. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to the beautiful area of Killarney. I highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect : the location is beautiful and easy to find, it's very close to many places of interest. We were warmly welcomed by the host, our room was spacious, spotless clean and comfortable, it was beautifully decorated and had a nice view. There was ample comfortable parking. The facilities were perfect and everything was so clean and also ultra modern. The dining area was well stocked, beautifully clean and easy to use. The bedroom and bathroom were so spacious and very comfortable. Sound between the rooms was negligible. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional.

I have never had this range and quality in a hostel before: there are different cereals, white yoghurt, different jams, peanut butter and chocolate spread and fruit to choose from. Eggs are available from the chickens in the garden. The staff bakes amazing fresh bread each day (!!) The kitchen has all facilities needed (incl an oven and 4 stoves). The kitchen was always clean! The bunkbeds are great and spacious, with good curtains, 2 electricity plugs, a shelf and a light. The ensuite bathroom was always clean as well. The hostel has a nice garden. Bikes can be rented at the hostel. Again these are well maintained with 21 gears. Perfect for discovering the NP. There are usually multiple members of staff present (reception, preparing in the kitchen, running "the household",.... ) Big thumbs up for the well maintained facilities by the staff. Your work and presence have been seen and appreciated ! They are so kind and always avaibable for help or questions!

1- friendly staff who give you a personal tour when you check in and can give you activity advice so you really feel welcomed 2- super duper clean space 3- 4 lovely dogs who love to chill out in the sitting room 4- warm log stove fire in sitting room with a wall of books- perfect after a day in the hills 5- each bunk bed having privacy curtain, USB and plug sockets and light- also the ladders had carpet covered rungs for extra climbing comfiness- and giant storage space that can be locked to secure your things 6- lovely free breakfast with fresh fruit, white and brown bread, jams, cereal and granola/muesli with yoghurt and milk and juice 7- incredible location- super near bus station and shops are nearby for supplies and right beside the national park and close to kerry way start 8- the hostel has a coffee shack so perfect if you want a really nice drink 9- the back has a lovely covered garden space and coop of hens - the eggs are offered in the kitchen 10- the atmosphere the hostel and staff create means that it is lovely, friendly space where you can make new friends easily

- great atmosphere in the hostel (feels like home full of friends, everyone is so kind and helpful to each other) - there is breakfast included in the price - rooms are very spacious with very comfortable beds, I love the "comfy" ladder that leads me to the upper bunk bed - very solid construction of bunk beds, I wasn't stressed that it would collapse when I went up to my bed (at other hostels it sometimes creates weird noises or the bed is crazily moving) - The hostel has a great living room area with a small library, a great dining room with a lot of comfortable seats around, a spacious kitchen - The people who work there are the coolest people ever, will always answer your questions and give you the best recommendations - that place is SO CLEAN!

The hostel gives you amazing value for your money – the staff are really welcoming and helpful, the whole place is clean and cozy, the bunk beds in shared rooms have privacy blinds, shelves and lockable storage space underneath, there's a spacious kitchen that you can use, a lovely common room where breakfast is served (they make delicious homemade bread!), and a garden with a chicken coop. The hostel is in a great location but if you'd like to explore Killarney on a bike as well, you can rent one for €10–15.

This hostel was amazing! Very cozy atmosphere, staff were very kind and accommodating. They also knew lots about stuff to do in the area! Multiple lounge rooms and places to meet other travelers! Big kitchen to store and cook food along with free spices for you to use! We had breakfast included which had all the staples (toast, fruits, juices etc). Our room was a 8 person room, beds were bunk beds and they each had a darkness curtian, light and outlet. Additionally, locked storage was under each bed. Our room also had a sink in it. Bathrooms and showers in the hostel were great. The hostel runs a coffee shop as well which was great for coffee and tea in the morning. Overall very clean and very comfortable!

Noraville House is ideally situated for a stay in Killarney. It is within easy walking distance to the town centre where tours depart from, and close to major attractions. Car parking is available on the premises. It is extremely comfortable - room was small but cosy, bed was very comfortable and breakfast was perfect. Plenty of choice, cooked to perfection. The host Eugene is a delight; helpful, friendly and engaging. By my third morning he knew my breakfast preferences without me asking. 😊

Loved being walking distance to the center of town but out enough for a quiet stay. Eugene was incredibly helpful and kind and makes the stay even better. His breakfast is delicious, even the ones that come in a paper bag. The house was quiet, the room comfortable and clean. All in all a very good stay.

Eugene was a great host, very upbeat and helpful, and he went out of his way to make us comfortable upon arrival and departure! The Noraville house had a great location, town center was very walkable and enjoyable. Our beds were very comfy and the room was very comfortable and welcoming.

Everything was perfect. Location just a short 15 minute walk into Killarney. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Full Irish breakfast was superb. Eugene was honestly one of the best hosts we ever encountered. Super friendly and helpful.

The inside offered a sitting room with a television and an adequate dining area for guests. Upstairs the rooms were big and clean, and the beds were comfortable. A highlight of the house was that it had a television that offered far more channels than any other site we stayed. It was nice to find movies and sit-coms easily and even CNN. It was close to activities and restaurants. It was very quiet, and we only saw the host when she gave us our keys. Breakfast was good and offered both warm and cold selections. They were the only restaurant that we went to that offered pancakes. They were delicious and came with a wonderful fruit sauce. They were very accommodating with breakfast times. We enjoyed a nice quiet and comfortable stay at Killaran House.

Everything about Killaran house was exceptional from beginning to end, from checking in to checking out. Breda the host was truly amazing. She was professional, friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable when it came to seek on advice on places to eat. The location of the Killaran House was so central, within a few minutes of walking distance of central town and plenty of parking on the property. The family room was spacious, bright, airy and a pure delight, better than any hotel room. Tea and coffee making facilities available 24/7, as well as toiletries if you should forget anything. Definitely my family and I will be staying again with Breda on our next trip to Ireland. 7 stars 🌟 without hesitation. Thank you Breda and all your staff for making our stay exceptional and memorable 😘

The room was very clean, the bathroom also. The shower was very comfortable and the water nice and warm. They give you all you need, including shampoos, shower gels etc. The place is very quiet and the staff is friendly and well organized, they gave us some info sheets about the Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula that were very helpful, as well as some restaurant suggestions. They were very accommodating about the arriving time and the breakfast was nice, with two options of 6 for the cold breakfast or 12 euros for the hot one.

A very welcoming place. When you walk in the front door it feels like home, and smells so beautiful and clean. The rooms decor is fantastic! Very modern super clean and comfortable. Fantastic for a family of 5! Lovely tea/coffee making station too. Breakfast was delicious and the lady who served us breakfast was incredibly sweet and friendly.

Breeda, the owner, is incredibly friendly and warm — she makes you feel like a welcomed guest in her home from the moment you arrive. The breakfast was excellent, with plenty of delicious options, and Breeda goes above and beyond with thoughtful touches — there’s even a guest cart filled with travel essentials like shampoo, hairspray, and other items visitors might have forgotten. Such a brilliant idea! The location is perfect — an easy walk to great restaurants, shopping, and just minutes from the Ring of Kerry entrance. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained, showing the care and pride Breeda puts into her guesthouse. If we had one small note, it would be that the beds were a bit firm for our liking — but truly, if that’s the only thing to mention, it says a lot about how wonderful this place is. A solid 4+ star stay — warm hospitality, spotless rooms, great food, and an unbeatable location. Highly recommend!

I stayed at The Gardens B&B for 8 nights in June 2024, and I can only say it was thoroughly the best stay possible. First of all, this place is very close to the centre of Killarney, and only a 10 minute walk from the train and bus station. My room was cosy and very quiet, as it was at the very end of the attached building and right in front of the idyllic and peaceful garden. It had all the necessities, a very comfy bed, and I had very restful night sleeps. The bathroom was extremely clean, too. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was always more than happy to accommodate any particular request. And that's what stood out the most, the friendliness and kindness of the owners and their staff. They made me feel at home since the very first day and even swiftly accommodated a last-minute request, as I had decided to stay in Killarney for two extra nights. I don't exaggerate when I say I had the most beautiful week in Kerry, and part of it was due to the comfort of The Gardens B&B. I'll surely be back. Thank you, Sandra, John, and all the staff for a most wonderful stay.

This place really is a hidden gem. It is so close to the town which is bustling by day and night, yet it is quiet and peaceful once you’re ready for sleep. The staff are so friendly and they work so hard to make sure you have a great stay. Breakfast was excellent and run so efficiently. The room whilst basic still had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Yes it looks a little dated now, but so what. Overall I can’t over emphasise how friendly and helpful the staff are, especially Sandra, who helped with so many recommendations directions to here, there and everywhere. It’s right on the edge of the Beautiful national park, so many things to explore.

The Gardens offered all of the charms of a simple country inn with the exceptional personal touches of a staff who obviously care about their work. The staff was so welcoming and kind, they offered us directions to get into town, restaurant recommendations and even dropped off an umbrella for my partner! The room was clean, warm and well-appointed, with excellent water pressure in the shower. The full Irish breakfast was delicious and filling, served in the charming dining room. Just steps to Killarney center, don't pass up on the Gardens if they are available!

Centrally located a short 5 minute walk to the centre of shopping and dining area, but very quiet. John was welcoming and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean. Electric kettle/tea, TV, shower gel, closet, radiator, decent sized windows, a beautiful garden picnic area, free made-to-order breakfast. Great value. Killarney is a lovely town with amazing sights, if you enjoy music and scenery, please visit.

fantastic location in the centre of town, the room (twin) was perfect - recently refurbished so immaculate and comfortable, spacious en suite. this was actually the cheapest option for my dates but included breakfast and perfect for our stay. breakfast was substantial and the staff v helpful - they even served us a slightly later breakfast after we had done the local Parkrun.

The room was clean and modern but small. No space for 2 people to hang clothes. The bed was large and very comfy. The shower lacked a shelf or ledge to put your soap or shampoo while showering. We had to put these on the shower floor. I think that a shelf is a necessity for safety reasons. The hotel is on a pedestrian only street which we weren't made aware of. Our online map kept on taking us to the street and after driving around and around, we called the hotel and they gave us directions to the nearest parking, which was just up the street. It would have saved us a lot of frustration had the hotel informed us beforehand where to park and how to get to the hotel. The rooms are above the bar which has nightly live music. The rooms are not well sound proofed. The location is good with many restaurants and eateries near by. Great breakfast had a large variety to choose from.

The room had a lovely large window , second floor)where we could observe the coming & going of the community. The bathroom was clean. The shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. The towel warmer was an extra nice addition. The twin beds were comfortable and a bit close together, it was not really a problem. The breakfast menu has a variety of good selections. Fresh fruit and juice were available too. The select meat & cheese platter & the Veggie were out favorites. The bar is lively. We enjoyed the music whether in the bar or our room. One might bring ear plugs if you like to retire early in the evening. The staff was very friendly!

Talter Jack is a great place 2 stay Me and my friends stayed in a triple room which was spotless The breakfast had a great choice u could have a full Irish or scrambled egg with sausages or bacon very tasty couldn't fault the place the bar is below great entertainment and a great vibe 2 the place they seve food as well so u could have lunch or Yr dinner we stayed on a Thursday and the bar had a late opening didn't hear a thing from my room above Talter Jack is rite in the centre of the town near all restaurants pub and gift shops and the bus station so if Yr comin 2 Killarney I would recommend this place it was fab 10 out or 10 will be goin there again soon 😆🥳🥳🥳🤩🤩

Staff were welcoming and very friendly. We ate breakfast and dinner here and the food was superb/ The location was great as you are in the center of everything. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed for a great nice sleep. The shower was roomy with great water pressure. Will come back here to stay next time we are in Killarney/

Very close to the Killarney House and Gardens entrance, 5 minutes walk to reach the city centre, clean and comfortable facilities, friendly staff, free parking! We stayed 3 days 2 nights and had a spacious room overlooking the garden; a view we liked very much. There’s a kettle with tea, coffee, sugar and milk in the room. Toilet was clean, towels and shampoo/shower gel provided, shower had hot water. We loved the traditional B&B vibe of the place, and the person who checked us in was lovely; gave us a little map to show us how the city centre was laid out. Killarney was the perfect place for us to start our Ring of Kerry adventure! If you’d like breakfast, you can request for it at a charge. We didn’t need breakfast but it looks like you’d be having it in a delightful room by the garden downstairs.

The hotel is just a short drive from Kerry Airport with great parking. It is a short 5 minute walk in to town for shops, bars, and restaurants. I travel alone so don't need a hotel with lots of facilities, I prefer smaller more homely places. I always use this hotel for my first and last night of road trips flying in to Kerry. Initially this was booked for location, but now it is my home away from home and the staff are so lovely and accommodating. Since my last visit the rooms have had a refurb with new bathrooms with lovely big walk in the showers. The main bedroom is all new furniture with large widescreen TV. The Reception area has also been upgraded. Breakfast is all cooked to order with plenty of light breakfast choice too, served in a nice breakfast room overlooking the property garden. Breakfast is from 8, which was too late on my final night as I had an early flight, they offered to open the kitchen at 7:30 for a light breakfast or do a breakfast tray, but instead I chose to just have a plate of soda bread as I had butter and marmalade with me to do in my room.

The location was great. It was a 5 minute (or less) walk into town. The room was clean, nice, and spacious - reminded me of an American hotel-sized room (much larger than other European hotel rooms we stayed in on our trip). The bathroom was also spacious - had a tub and shower. We opened our windows for a little cool breeze (the temperature is controlled by a central unit in the hotel, so you don’t control the temperature of your room). The open window made it comfortable. Black out curtains were great. Used the hair dryer. No fridge in the room and no laundry facilities on site, but there was a gas station a few minutes down the road which had 24 hours self pay machines (large and small washers and dryers for different prices). A large wash load cost about €15 and a 45-minute dry load cost about €10. Not cheap, but it did the job. Back to the hotel - the staff was very nice. They even put my leftovers in their office fridge for the night so I could eat them the next day. The included breakfast was good - plenty of food and nice that we had options on what we each wanted to order. There was also a comfortable and quaint lobby with a little gas fireplace and a couch and a couple chairs.

Very clean. Big room. Nice dressing table. There was a kettle and plenty of tea and instant coffee and even a couple of small packs of cookies. The only downside was the bathroom. The toilet was almost under the pedestal sink. As a woman I could scoot in and sit under the sink but I would think it would be hard for a man to stand in front of the toilet. The hotel is small and like home. The lobby is comfortable and people seemed to enjoy sitting in it reading and using their computers. There is a small garden out back that was available through the dining area. It was very much like a private residence back yard. Be aware that there was no elevator that we saw. Breakfast was outstanding. The full Irish was plated beautifully and everything was cooked properly. Breakfast was served rather than a buffet. The location is great. 10 minute walk from the train station and 10 Minutes to Main Street shopping and tour busses and lots of restaurants. Staff was friendly. The desk is unmanned most of the time but there is quick response to the call button. Ours was a last minute booking on the cusp of high season and I think the price was great. PS. Don’t miss the Muckross House and gardens and the Ring of Kerry Tour with the Border Collie sheep herding demo.

We loved our room, we had room number 1 with a street view. The room was super cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the delicious breakfast, where we could choose between two breakfast options. We opted for the full Irish breakfast and toast.

We like everything of Cedar Lodge especially our hosts Bernice and Steve.. so friendly, helpful and accommodating.. we had a very early check out and Bernice was so kind to leave us some bread to take for breakfast. Renovated, modern and spacious accommodation that still feels homely. Bernice is lovely and a talented baker. She was welcoming and had a lot of advice on how to navigate Killarney. Breakfast was a spread of fresh and delicious homemade baked treats, vegan included. Our stay was relaxing and a short drive away from Killarney National Park.

Cedar lodge was beautifully and newly decorated to a very high quality so it felt very luxurious. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was so lovely. Bernice was an amazing host and her breakfast was delicious. She puts so much effort into it, with many homemade things to eat. My partner who isn't a big breakfast eater even loved it! Her communication was also brilliant the whole time.The location is also great for Killarney, slightly out of town but only a few minutes so still very convenient with a car. Would highly recommend!

The room was incredibly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable and fresh, and the towels were so soft! There is a backlit mirror in the bathroom great for getting ready, as well as a really nice shower. The continental breakfast was really well stocked with meats, cheeses, all variety of pastries and homemade banana bread, chia seed pudding, and sausage rolls. We booked in order to be close to the Gap of Dunloe and Kerry loop and you can't get much better. Minutes to Torc Waterfall, Killarney, and great pubs. We would absolutely stay again, no hesitations.

this is an incredible place! Very clean, cozy and warm. The owner Bernice is attentive and friendly. The room is clean, in good repair. Near Killarney National Park. Good breakfast - you can choose cereals, sandwiches, etc. to your taste. In general, I am in love with this place and will confidently recommend it to my friends. I hope to spend more days here next time.
