It had beautiful facilities....I loved all the pools...the jacuzzi....lounge area.. spacious contemporary feel. All the nearby restaurants were amazing

It is such a good location. We loved the jacuzzi and met some.laovley people. I like breakfast too. The suite was clean and comfortable

The Buffet breakfast had a lot of options and very fresh and delicious. The pool area was wonderful had an amazing hot spa and private covered cabanas to relax and enjoy free time with side tables to enjoy drinks or food by the poo as there is a bar on site. Very relaxing spacious place, rooms are generous size and very quiet if you need a relaxing quiet getaway. Lots of options to explore close by by car or walking distance to other cafes and beach, beautiful gardens and parks around whole resort. Local secluded beaches around Cudgen creek and beach very close to resort. great for private picnics and private beach access. Staff are very helpful, bath products smell amazing, they use appelles large sizes so you don't have to request extra shower gel for the spa or extra conditioner for those with long hair. Bose surround sound for good quality sound in the room, rooms have large cupboards and plenty of space. We booked the spa suite perfect size for a couple, sun lounge and table and chairs on balcony for morning nespresso coffee in peaceful private area.

Lots of things. Friendly and helpful staff on check in. Very good undercover parking with secure area opened by room key. Room furniture, bathroom, etc were good. Not brand new, but well maintained and clean. Shower and toilet were top notch. Room servicing was good. Pool was terrific - really, really good lagoon style with a sandy "beach". Restaurants, clothes shops and a convenience store are about 200 metres away. Very good pizza. "Fins" seafood restaurant is world class. The real beach, Pacific Ocean, is just past the shops and restaurants. It seems to be a very safe area. We'll be back.

We have stayed here several times before and found this trip a little disappointing. Breakfast was delicious but not plentiful. We had a three night stay and every morning at breakfast they struggled replenishing empty food platters, cutlery, juices so spent a lot of time waiting for food offerings to be refilled or had to ask for cutlery. We also found the room we had was in need of renovations or some maintenance at least. The slats on the balcony are there for privacy from the room next door but half ours were missing so unfortunately for our neighbors we could see there bed as we walked back into our room. For over $300 per night we expected more and had previously received more. Especially with how quiet the hotel seemed after the recent cyclone. The bed was extremely comfortable and the restaurants near by all amazing. It’s a very peaceful and tranquil area. Great for a relaxing stay

Amazing location, the king suite was large and spacious and incredibly clean. The bath was comfortable and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Whether we needed towels or directions to anywhere. The kitchen was nice too and they supplied a large fridge which is much nicer than those bar fridges that don't keep anything cold. The bed was comfortable and clean. The view from our balcony was amazing, even though it is of the neighbourhood we could still smell the ocean and see all of the greenery. We often went for late night beach walks as beach access is less than a 100m walk and the beach this accomodation is built by is absolutely beautiful. It is large and open so even if there are many people you still feel like you get a slice of beach to yourself.

Mantra on Salt Beach felt like an all-inclusive: loved the big pool and the separate smaller heated pool with the great spa pool. A great variety of restaurants and shops were attached to the hotel so it was a super easy walk. And we loved our room. We booked an ocean view spa room and were placed in block 3, in the middle of the resort with a view of the pool and ocean. The room was perfect: kitchen was well stocked, living area was comfy, bed was super comfy, deck had beautiful views with loungers. The room even had a washer and dryer plus laundry detergent so it was super handy. The bathroom was a bit awkward because it's just shutters, but overall we'd happily stay there again. It was all clean and well-maintained Beach-wise following the hurricane: yes there's bad erosion but people were still ocean swimming at low tide, fyi. Just time your ocean visit with low tide.

Close to a great beach , close to Kingscliff restaurants. Peaceful surroundings. We booked a pool view room , On arrival were given a room on level 1 with a tiny balcony that had a sliver of pool view . On speaking with checkin staff member we were given a room on level 2 with a fabulous pool view that matched advertising photos and a great size balcony. The resort is having some areas repainted , and carpet needs replacing, it was very clean and great value .

Pool area and cocktail bar were great. Apartment was clean comfortable and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again . Prices are reasonable and a very nice place to stay

Mantra on Salt Beach was the perfect place for our stay. Everything we needed was there. Our room was spotless with the most comfortable bed. Staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t get the chance to use the facilities due to other commitments, but the setting of Mantra was most impressive, and the grounds were immaculately presented.

This is the cutest little retro motel I’ve ever seen, adorable! Located on a corner, short walk to the beach, 30 min walk to the shops & restaurants (the motel has bikes you can borrow). The motel is small and has a lovely retro beach style vibe. Excellent Reception/shop with quality products for sale. Excellent communal kitchen available for use. Rooms are decorated in beach retro style, quirky & cute. Comfy QS bed, small desk & chairs, window breakfast bar & 2 chairs. Small fridge & quality tea/coffee supplies, including Byron Bay teabags & Robert Timms coffee bags. De Longhi toaster & kettle. Quality Goetz & Malin New York toiletries, excellent hairdryer. Cool flat TV on wall, doubles as electronic wall art. Lovely!

Everything about this motel is excellent. Clean, fresh and new feel about the place. Reception and service staff were friendly and helpful. Great walk-in shower with easy temperature adjustment and neat wall-mounted shampoo-soap dispensers, small but adequate in-room kitchen with a large communal kitchen also available 24/7, firm comfortable bed, great wall tv, small garden terrace at back. No-key entry coded entry so you can't lose the key. They even have their own coffee caravan on the premises. They've really put some thought into this place. Highly recommended. 10/10

I made an error with my dates and the lady in reception was so understanding and helpful, fixed the issue straight away with no fuss that was totally my fault! the rooms are quirky with touches of a retro beach feel..so awesome! LOVED the bed super comfy! Fantastic coffee and generous milk in the fridge. Quiet area but only a 5 min drive to Tweed and a short walk to beach ..definately stay again. Room was spotless!

Absolutely enjoyed my stay. Beautifully renovated in beach house style, quality appliances, nice selection of tea and coffee, good flat screen TV, comfortable bed, very clean and welcoming. Everything is done with taste. Keyless entry made late check-in a breeze. Easy access and parking, only short stroll to the beach. Will definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and sweet with good tea selection and toaster, the share kitchen was 24/7 access with a freezer for my food and also very clean, the staff were lovely and helpful and the beach was a 20 minute walk with a slow dog so it was very affordable for such a popular beach stay. There was an enclosed yard with a pool and dog shower where I could sit in the sun and have coffee in the morning and let my dog wander around and lay in the sun. I enjoyed the relaxed feeling there.

This uniquely decorated motel offers an Instagram-worthy stay near the beach. The funky decor extends throughout, creating a cute and memorable atmosphere. Pros: - Stylish, photo-worthy decor - Excellent shared kitchen facilities - Free bike rentals (ask reception for codes) - Convenient water taps in kitchen - sparkling and still. Don’t try to use the tap in your tiny sinked bathroom! - Lovely outdoor courtyard with coffee van. The coffee is excellent. - Close to beach - Good base for exploring local attractions Tips: - Arrive during reception hours (10-5) for smooth check-in and bike access - Use SmartThings app for TV volume control if remote is finicky. We couldn’t get our volume to work with the remote. - Pool is unheated and compact - Beach can be windy; try Dreamtime Beach for shelter - just in the shadow of Fingal Heads if a NE. Minor Cons: - Self-service style limits staff interaction which can be frustrating if you are trying to figure out how to access things as it’s all via codes. - Some tech issues (TV remote) Overall, a charming stay with some quirks. Perfect for those seeking a unique coastal experience. Would definitely return, armed with insider knowledge for an even better visit.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Blue Water is one of the best motels I've ever stayed at. Lots of quirky fun decor items, and modern practical ideas. The whole makeover of the motel is fresh, fun and totally welcoming. Pool is great too. Has a coffee van at front of property that opens early ....... good coffee and fresh pastries daily. We will definitely stay here again but will make it at least two nights next time. Looking forward to enjoying the whole vibe in the near future. 💫💫

This place was so lovely we stayed an extra night as we were not ready to leave. Love that it’s dog friendly ($50 extra and so worth it) Kids loved the pool. Beds were comfy. Beautiful beach steps away and a little further up is the off leash dog friendly beach. The free bikes they have to use were awesome to head into the main restaurant area for margaritas or a beer by the beach. Nice size in room fridge and plenty of cutlery and dishes for at home eating as well as a 24/7 shared kitchen to cook or wash up. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.

It is an old motel that has been completely renovated. Really nice vibe, decor and facilities within the room. Nice touches like large shower head, boutique shampoo, conditioner and shower gel and nice common area. Pool was nice with cool games. Reception and cleaning staff excellent. Our room was available well before normal check in so they let us arrive early (cheerfully) which is awesome when you’ve been travelling since 5 am! Awesome beach literally around the corner and heaps of really cool restaurants and a nice grassed oval across the road. Woollies and liquor store close by. We absolutely loved it. Only kettle, toaster and minibar fridge (which was really cool btw) available so you need to rely on eating out, but so many options locally 😁 The Salty Beardman was excellent ( gourmet fish ‘n’chips)

Newly renovated rooms that are clean and comfy not far from the beach. We stayed in the family suite for one night - mum, dad and adult daughter. Main room had the queen bed, kitchenette and dining table, while the second bedroom had two single beds - with own air con. The bathroom had a big bath. The complimentary tea/coffee and toiletries were luxe. We noticed that bikes and surfboards were available. Reception was lovely, we bought two of their tote bags - they're big and sturdy. Check in was via a code and was easy and simple. Will definitely be back for a longer stay.

We had a lovely stay at this apartment with our family of four. The location was very convenient, with everything you need close by, including a wide selection of restaurants just a short walk away. In the evenings, we enjoyed the delicious smells drifting over from the nearby restaurants. The keyless entry using our phone made access super easy. The pools were beautiful, and it was only a short walk down to the beach. The beds were comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. The beach towels, books, games and other items provided were also a lovely touch and appreciated. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more.

Location and resort facilities were 5 star Multiple swimming pools and a spa. Tennis courts Restaurants and shops Our rooms were not only spacious but beautifully furnished and comfortable. The bed was so comfortable and everything and more you needed for a great stay was there. Beach towels & fully equipped kitchen. 2 verandahs and plenty of space. We got up at dawn to view stunning sunrises from the patio.

Loved the size of the apartment for our family of four. loved having two seperate bathrooms especially with 15 and 12 year old boys.the little homely touches in the kitchen were great! You couldn’t ask for a better location with the beach right at your front door, delicious restaurants (the Mexican is the best we’ve ever had) just below and being a part of the Mantra complex means you have access to the two awesome pools and the pool bar (happy hour margaritas were so good) 😀

The layout of the unit is very warm and friendly. Well equipped. Sit on balcony with wine in hand and view ocean an the world go by. Although we didn’t use any there we’re board games, tennis racquets, beach towels etc provided. Home away from home. Great communication and easy access to check in and gain access to unit. Would definitely use again.

Beautiful location 50m from the beach. Right next to restaurants and cafes. Very handy for families. The pool is great. Lovely walk along the path next to the beach. Bike hire from reception was handy. The apartment is a good size and beds are big and comfortable. Great coffee options nearby. We loved Salt Bean. Good food from Thai and fish and chips downstairs.

Great spacious two bedroom apartment with water views. The beds were comfortable and both bathrooms were huge and had a bath and a shower. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that was needed. Hosts were great - one of the bathrooms had run out of soap and it was immediately replaced when we asked.

Location was perfect and within a few minutes walk to the beach. The bed was very comfortable. The unit was spacious very well equipped.

We found it quite easy, we tried a few of the restaurants/ cafes for breakfast and we’re not disappointed with any of them. On site so we’re very convenient. Good variety, so we were very happy.

Great location for our seminar at the hotel. Amazing beach 2 minutes walk away. Beautiful views from the verandah!
