Very cozy and well located hostel, when I chose to stay at this place, I thought the "musicale" was just a meaningless word. Once we got there, my son started to notice all the music themed decorations. As a music student, he was super happy. The hostel is well taken care of by the owners, who pay attention to every detail, both in the place itself and with the guests. We felt welcome from the moment we left home until the last minute of our stay. The room was very tidy, clean and comfortable enough to have a good night of sleep. We enjoyed some relaxing moments at the jacuzzi, we played ping pong and they had some card/board games in the living room, like Uno, Jenga, spot it, etc, a nice way to spend some time with my son. The breakfast was just delightful. I am vegan and Angelique made a sarrasin crepe for me, with their homemade apple compote with walnuts. Thank you so much for that :) My son ate the sea salt caramel crepe and he said it was one of the best crepes he has ever eaten. As proof, he ate almost everything and usually he eats like a baby bird . Finally, Angelique invited my son to play some violin during her concert ❤️ amazing! Thank you Angelique and Gerard for the wonderful weekend we had at your hostel :)

The Auberge was a lovely stay from beginning to end. We were warmly greeted by our hosts who made us feel at home right away. The house is located on a quiet street a few minutes drive from La Malbaie with charming gardens, verandah, outdoor hot tub, and comfortable rooms. After a long day in the car it was wonderful to relax with a glass of delightful local rosé and be able to have a gourmet crêpe dinner on site! The breakfast crêpes were divine! The level of service was exceptional as both Gerald and Angelique made every effort to engage with all guests at each meal. They made suggestions re local sights and attractions and we enjoyed touring Ile aux Coudres and the Jardins de Cap à l’Aigle at their recommendation. The musical theme of the Auberge runs throughout and it would be so fun to stay here when they host a musical event. Next time!

We came to hike l'Acropole des Draveurs. The location was excellent, only about 35 min away from the Park. It was centrally located to the downtown area, 3 min to gas station, 7 min to Maxi, Metro and Saq. Ocean View Front, 15 min Walking distance to the Marina. The reception was very warm and welcoming, the owners are very hands on. They offer a nice homemade Crepe breakfast for $15.00, they were delicious. Be sure to bring your bathing suits to use the hot tub. It really felt as if we were on vacation, eating outside on the patio surrounded by the lush plants and trees on the property. We were treated to a nice guitar concert by the owners for Saint-Jean, she sang beautifully. The rooms were beautifully decorated with these quaint comfort decorations. i would definitively come back with my friends. We took the two bedroom family suite for 5 people and it was superbly spacious. i Just love the comfort home feeling of this auberge

Although close to the road, the property also offers a great view of the St-Laurent river. It is also close to several restaurants and shops. A walk by the shore is a must. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was exceptionally good every morning. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

Perfect stay in La Malbaie. The staff is charming and very helpful. The building is a bit older, but that contributes positively to the overall atmosphere. The accommodation is on the street, which guarantees good accessibility. We did not find the street too noisy. We found the location very good. Overall, many restaurants in the area are within easy reach and the surroundings invite you to take a walk along the shore. The breakfast was fantastic. It was freshly prepared every morning. For us it was better than any buffet - but you shouldn't expect a standard breakfast here.

Located directly opposite the river, this was a wonderful place to stay. Amelie and her family who run the Auberge are extremely welcoming and helpful. The view of the river from our room and from our table in the dining room was delightful. We had an excellent meal in the dining room, a six-course tasting menu. And the breakfast, which is included in the tariff, was a bonus.

We loved this motel! We had a very warm welcome by melyssa! The room was spacious and clean with an amazing view on the St-Lawrence river. We were able to get extra coffee, towels, plates, cutlery etc. The staff was extremely accommodating. We would highly recommend this!

The Motel was much nicer than I expected, the decor was modern and tasteful and the finishes were tasteful and good quality. Great bathroom and very comfortable beds. The gentlemen at the desk was helpful and very easy to deal with. In addition to the microwave, fridge and coffee maker there are toasters, kettles, dishes, cutlery, condiments ,extra coffee and more available.

Very well located with a lovely view and outside terrasse / balcony. The room was very clean and even smelt freshly cleaned. We appreciated the fridge in the room as well as the fact that the lady at the front desk was very friendly and nice. I would totally recommend it and they accommodate dogs too , so perfect for us 😊.

Very nice room , recently re-done. New clean bathroom, very good shower, lot's of hot water. Comfortable bed. We had a terrace with a nice view of the river. Quiet area, great for sleeping. feels like a country cottage.

Nice place with access to activities, feels cozy and safe, very well located (close to national parks and towns on the river), access to our own fire pit and bbq, communal jacuzzi. Extremely clean!

Property itself was the best part. It was very clean. All tools and utensils necessary were provided. The weather was bad so couldn't enjoy the facility much like camp fire, sports etc. The host stopped by to ask if everything was good. It was very scenic, calm and peaceful. It is a an amazing getaway place with a family, not too far from La Malbaie (20 min).

Our hosts were wonderful - the owners are lovely, 3 super friendly guys who immigrated from France (their English is also pretty good but we spoke mostly French with them) who made sure we were comfortable. You can tell that they love what they do, and they put a lot of thought into making it a welcoming space. The room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable, good shower. Bathroom was a bit small but each room has its own, which is nice for a B&B. Decor was vintage rustic chic, but well-maintained, which perfectly matched the stunning old inn built in the late 1800s. Lots of history and character - this area is known for being a place where wealthy Americans and Canadians would spend their summers around that the turn of the century. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we've had at a B&B! Nice selection, options for people with all kinds of dietary restrictions, and lots of homemade goodies. The area is fantastic - the inn is right on a hill, so the front rooms and front balconies have a beautiful view of the bay. Malbaie is such a nice little town - highly recommend visiting the area (the whole region of Charlevoix is beautiful). I can't say enough good things. We would love to return - it really felt like a perfect little escape.

So very happy we booked here. Such a warm welcome from Laurent and Quentin. The property is stunning - comfortable and beautifully furnished. Our room was perfect - good shower and comfortable bed plus a lovely seating area. Breakfast was really good - a wide choice and much of it home made. An ideal setting too with views over the river and in a peaceful area but with lots of good restaurants nearby. Would 100% recommend!

A beautiful house in a gorgeous location with an amazing view from the upper balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious - homemade preserves and some of the best crepes I have ever eaten. Our host Laurent was very friendly and helpful, suggesting an excellent bistro for dinner. (We didn’t want one but if you want a TV this place is not for you - there isn’t one)

We had a truly wonderful stay at Auberge La Chatelaine! The hosts are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making guests feel at home. The place is full of charm, with beautiful antique decor, cozy rooms, and breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River. Breakfast was a real highlight—homemade, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Breakfast was fantastic, fresh, homemade ingredients. We had a breakfast inside on a cooler morning and on the terrace on the warmer day. Both areas were bright and offered beautiful views. Owners and staff were very present, and available to tend to our every need. It was obvious that they truly enjoyed what they did. All areas throughout the property were very clean (and I'm a clean freak). It was so quiet and relaxing at night.

We arrived early by bicycle to the auberge and the host was very hospitable allowing us to drop off our luggage so we could bike into La Malbaie without effort. The room was small but very comfortable and we had use of a fridge placed in the hallway. The most memorable moment was relaxing on the elevated patio watching the sunset. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The staff were attentive and very friendly. Would highly recommend a stay at Auberge Fleurs de Lune.

We stayed one night at Auberge Fleurs de Lune and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning view of the St. Lawrence River. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended!

We booked one night in La Malbaie at the last minute due to changes in our travel plans. What a find! This small hotel well deserves the high ratings -our room was above average in quality, comfort and size even compared to Brand hotels of similar ratings. Besides the ample space, there were two comfortable tub chairs around a small table, full kitchenette with plates and utensils, Keurig coffee maker ( pods, sugar and cream included), toaster oven, microwave and mini fridge. There is even a central outdoor BBQ area. Wifi was good, the bed was comfortable, but there are only stairs to reach the second floor. Be sure to request a ground floor if you prefer. All staff were very friendly. The optional cold buffet breakfast ($4 each) was great value and included boiled eggs and yoghurt, fruit, breads, cereals and pastries, with a selection of spreads ( cream cheese, peanut butter, jams and even creton spread- a regional favourite). I was sad to move on to our next destination- I could happily stay here for several days visiting the region. Since the hotel was sold out , I assume others have discovered this treasure too.

What a great find. I travel nearly half the year, so I see a lot of hotels/motels. This place is an amazing find. It’s clean, it’s renovated, it’s right next to a side street with several amazing restaurants, parking is good and there is a gazebo area where you can BBQ and lay back with 8-10 friends. My room had stuff you just don’t see these days, a working fridge, a small kitchenette with microwave and broiler. They even had great coffee in the room with real crème and milk in the fridge. A few glasses, some cutlery and a wine opener that actually works. I can’t say enough about how nice my overnight stay was. My stay at another place a week earlier was a total disaster, and so I was extremely please when I walked into my room and saw what I had. Very nice bed as well, super comfortable and if you can imagine a QUIET air conditioning system. Most make so much or a racket, that you need to decide on air conditioning or a decent nights sleep. We booked this hotel after reading the reviews! Oh wow it did not disappoint! Extremely well located with many dining options close by! Staff is attentive and very helpful! We had a room on ground floor with patio door access to terrasse outside! Loved relaxing out there! Bed was super comfortable, everything was in perfect working order. Rooms are updated and very very clean! Lots of walking trails close by and we loved trying the different dining options close by! So many choices! La Malbaie/Charlevoix area is so charming and we loved this gem of a hotel! Perfect place for us to celebrate our wedding anniversary! Thank you to the attentive staff!

Made a great choice booking the last room available for our two night stay. Pleasantly surprised with our large, very clean room 109 with 2 queen bed and even had a table and chairs for our late night dinner in our room. It was great that there was no carpet on the floors. Great location just off the main street very close to everything you would need. Had a lovely early morning tranquil walk just down the street from many restaurants and the waterfront. They also have a buffet breakfast for $8.00 plus tax which includes juice, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, bread, bagels, cream cheese, jam, cheese, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, muffins, fruits.

This is a very nice Hotel, not expensive and clean with a friendly stuff, answer all the question in a friendly way, the beds are comfortable, you have a small balcony, with a table and 2 chairs Too is close to many good restaurants, most of them need reservation in advance to avoid surprises , just walk to them

We stayed at this cozy and charming petite hotel and had a wonderful experience. The place was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated — perfect for a relaxing stay. Everything was well maintained, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and peaceful. Place in a very good area with mani restaurants choice. The attendant was very kind and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly during my visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and quiet place to stay.

Super clean and everything that you need. The location is also amazing. Downtown La Malbaie is walkable and so many good restaurants within walking distance. The room and building are very well maintained and chic. Honestly one of our best vacation stays to date.

Check in was seamless and the owner made us feel at home. Located walking distance from waterfront and restaurants. Room was very clean with touches that showed they cared about keeping things refined. Excellent shower with great water pressure and comfortable for my husband who is 6'1''. While our room was right next to the main entrance, we never heard anything happening outside our room (good soundproofing).

We eventually were put in a quiet room. First room had an adjoining door that is for family use only as you can hear every word spoken by other people. Moved to room that wasn't clean, THEN moved to nice, clean, quiet room. We both had cold/cough so WE would have also kept other people awake in other room. Breakfast was really good, variety of cold, fresh items. Loved the croissants. Very quiet location, close to town.

Located in a very pittoresque area of town. Pointe à Pic was quite a revelation with it's waterfront, park and trail, bridge, train station, Casino and Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu all located within walking distance. The hotel is a charming older inn located on a parcel of land surrounded by trees. Our room was very clean, odor free. Great Wi-fi, comfortable beds and pillows. Amazing buffet breakfast with fresh croissant and a large selection.

I’m always a bit hesitant about independent hotels, I would have no hesitation to stay here again and will recommend to friends and family. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast that was included. Easy walking distance to many restaurants for this semi fit 50 . Clean pool, although we didn’t get to use it. A bit disappointed that it closed at 6:30pm. After a day of sightseeing, it would have been nice to cool of in the pool. That’s my only disappointment with the property.

We stayed September 4-7, based on reviews we had mixed feelings too. When arrived greeted with smile at door, went to reception where we met Roxanne who was pleasant and friendly. She even took the time to look around and found us a best room ( probably because I’m an Accor gold member). House keeping was amazing always, special thanks to Diana! We had enough tea since we don’t drink coffee, also enough water. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room, truly amazing Bellerive cafe -Claudia who was amazing and friendly and fun. She made us a very nice hot chocolate ( Italian 😋😋) also everything here was tasty and healthy. Laurent ( concierge) who we met on our 2day, from meeting him everything went from ok to extremely enjoyable. He was very pleasant and friendly. Thanks to Laurent we did Maverick Sport Side-by-Side 2-seater. We dearly appreciated his level service!! Bar- wasn’t very impressed but staff tried their best. Could’ve been lot better comparing with other Fairmont facilities. Overall enjoyed the stay, special thanks to Laurent, Roxanna and Claudia for making our stay more memorable.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Manoir Richelieu during their 125th-anniversary event, and it was an unforgettable experience. The celebration was exquisite, with delightful cocktails and engaging animations that added a festive atmosphere to the event. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that guests had a memorable time, and their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the evening. Our room was elegant and comfortable, providing a perfect blend of luxury and relaxation. The breakfast the next morning was another highlight of our stay. The variety of options available and the quality of the food were impressive, and the service was impeccable. However, there were a couple of small downsides to our otherwise wonderful stay. Firstly, there were no bottled waters in the room, and we had to request them. While this did not significantly impact our experience, it would have been a nice touch, especially after enjoying the evening's festivities. Secondly, I was a bit disappointed by the bar section. Despite having live musicians, the presence of a TV gave it a sports bar feel, and the loud conversations detracted from the ambiance we expected. Overall, our stay at the Manoir Richelieu was delightful, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a blend of history, luxury, and exceptional service. We look forward to returning in the future.

Helpful staff, lots to do, lounge bar food and atmosphere was amazing as was nightly singer. Did not enjoy noisy restaurant in basement ( lots of young children, so if you have, you will appreciate more!) Loved the cafe- coffee and chocolatines and muffins were perfection. Le Truchon best restaurant nearby for breakfast and Ile Mysterieuse restaurant had a great tea service ( go hungry!) Went to Marmite restaurant which was overpriced for the food served, would not go again. Baie St Paul and St Irenee ( beach and Leon and Lily depanneur) nearby were a must to visit. A great 4 days with family and do not forget tge Sentier des Planetes nature walk at hotel and roasting marshmallows at night. Also wonderful gym facilities.

Essentially, they did not want to give me the river view room that I had booked on booking.com. When I checked in, I asked if the room had a river view. They said it was not available. When I said I had booked a river view, they tried for half an hour to give me a room with a river view. Thank you. The room I reserved is the same as the room they gave me. It wasn't the quality but the river view was worth everything, thank you fairmont

Beautiful manor with breathtaking views. The Manor is always superbly clean, and the staff are always cordial and helpful. The room we reserved had views of the river, and it did not disappoint. We ate a few times at the manor, and each time, it was delicious. I highly suggest taking in the weekend brunch. The activities available locally and on grounds are vast and fun and for all ages. Our first time in the Malbaie region and it was a blast. It's a pet friendly hotel as well, so bring your furry family members.

We adored this hotel and are already planning a trip back. Rooms are spacious and clean. Good size closet and bathroom. Really nice to have a balcony to enjoy the view and sit outside with coffee in the morning. The views are incredible and the hotel is quiet. It's just a very peaceful location. Very easy to drive into town. We ended up walking to the casino. Not a bad walk, except for the hill up back up to the hotel. We had dinner and two breakfasts in the restaurant during our stay. Dinner was incredible, but pricy. Breakfasts were also a little pricy but they were big, full breakfasts. The hotel staff and restaurant staff were all friendly and helpful. We were only here for a quick stay, but can picture settling in for a longer visit. There is a small fridge in the room and the coffee provided is good. There are several trails in the area, a couple of which can be accessed from the property.

A very nice hotel with a lovely view of the river. Our room/suite was enormous with a lovely balcony, but it was close to the kitchen so it was quite noisy at times. Bed was huge and very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Breakfast was good but quite pricey. We also had the Table d’hote at dinner which had a very good range of options and was delicious. As we were celebrating our anniversary the team gave us a complimentary digestif on a plate with “Joyeux anniversaire” written on it, which was a nice touch. The staff were helpful and polite, especially when we needed to make an overseas call. Overall we would recommend this hotel, particularly if you want to treat yourselves.

The view from our hotel room was spectacular. This alone made it worth the stay. Much like others have remarked the rooms are quite dated and can use a reno. That said our room/bathroom was very clean and the beds were one of the most comfortable I've slept in. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant, but we did have breakfast which was overpriced and wasn't very memorable. The most enjoyable aspect was once again the view and my kids really enjoyed toasting their own bread in the converted fireplace. A really nice touch.

This property is well maintained and is an excellent location. There's a very-clean/very friendly/very picturesque quality to this hotel. There are wicker/rattan furniture in the common areas --- but they are very clean and fit the property well. It's like being in an 1950s seaside resort, but with modern food, excellent service, and minutes from the casino. The hotel staff are super friendly, the property is interesting (pool, horse shoes playing court, outdoor seating areas, great restaurant). Free parking to boot.

We recently stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Service was great, everyone was friendly & super helpful. The room was clean, had everything we needed, and a wonderful view of the river. We enjoyed coffee each morning on our balcony, soaking in all the beauty. We are already planning on returning next year!

Completely renovated hotel. It's rare that we've stayed in a hotel where everything was perfect. Our room was very spacious, odor free. In room Keurig coffee maker and mini fridge. We were three and it didn't feel at all small. White bedding. Working A/C. Powerful hot shower. Shower gel. They even had a Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom on which you can play music on your device. Great wi-fi. Nice wallpaper of the Charlevoix at fall. Very nice complimentary breakfast with lots of seating. A small gym and free bicycle rental to access the velo route along the river. Pointe a Pic is a gorgeous area to visit. So a win-win stay here.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Nice common area, which also serves a very good breakfast in the morning. Spacious and comfortable room with easy access from the parking. Last but not least, nice bathtub for a well deserved rest after a long day of hiking and travelling!

I found staff to be very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier! I love that the rooms were very clean and the corridors to also clean and smelled fresh! We will always make that hotel a place to stay in our travels

We arrived at our hotel in La Malbaie and were so pleased with our accommodations. My husband had booked a suite and it was just lovely. There was a fully equipped kitchen area (sink,microwave,toaster oven, cutlery and dishes enough for 6-8 people). There were two really comfortable queen size beds with lovely fluffy pillows, a dining room, couch and chair and two huge TV's - one in the sitting area and one in the bedroom. The bathroom was spotless and had a mirror that you could wave your hand in front of and it illuminated by itself. You could also play music through your phone by inputting a code posted on the mirror. We wished that we had booked this room for more than one night! We definitely would rebook with this hotel in the future. Staff at the front reception area were very helpful and bilingual. Breakfast was great!

My second time staying at this hotel in 2024. Very clean, cozy and family friendly little hotel at a reasonable price point. Great location. Breakfast is good but if could have scrambled eggs and sausage in the morning it would be impeccable. Will definitely stay again in future.

The place is absolutely charming. The grounds have a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River. No other place in town has this view. Patio chairs on the back lawn with q view of the river make sipping your favorite drink a memory to keep. The innkeeper has baskets for picnic ready to go. We instead did our own on the grounds. What we loved: Common areas such as sun room, living room with foreplace and big back lawn outside. Our bedroom was very spacious with a view of the river and nice size en-suite bathroom. The queen size bed was very comfy and plush, with crip white and clean linens. Our room had a fireplace and a portable fan (breeze comes in from the river just opening the big windows) The decor is charming and well maintained. The innkeeper welcomed us with a tour of the grounds. Ah! And q hot jacuzzi and guest towels are there to enjoy while soaking the views. There is tea and coffee (bean grinder and all) all day. They offer what we will call a continental breakfast included. During our stay there was orange juice, fruit, yoghurt, raisins, cereal, local artisan breads, homemade mini muffins, jams, pâté, hard boiled eggs. Around: From here you can go and see the eagles at Tadoussac (1 hr away), old train ride. And be back at night for the observatory. We did the whale and fjord tour with AML. The fjord part is short though. It does get cold on the boat! (it was 85 F in town!!) We will definetly be back.

This B & B exceeded all of my expectations. Our hostess, Chantal, was most charming and gracious. She was always available for any help and directions. She speaks both English and French, which is a plus in that part of Quebec. Malbaie is located on a mountainside overlooking the St Lawrence River and our room had the most spectacular view. The grounds are inviting with many comfortable chairs and seduce you the aromas of the many flowers growing in the garden. The perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy a glass of wine. The best part was her breakfast; this was not just a "continental" breakfast: it was a dream come true - especially her "croton" (Quebec spread) and her caramel spread. I felt that it was close to everything I wanted to see: we were perhaps, 50 minutes to a whale watching excursion in Baie Ste Catherine, the Saguenay River where you can take a cruise to see the fjiords of the Region and the Tadoussac area. The drive to these places was spectacular with its winding, mountainous roads. The views took your breath away. I would highly recommend this B & B/Auberge at any time of year.

Our stay in this quiet, beautiful country auberge on the st-Lawrence sea way this past July was delightful and very comfortable. There is no air conditioning but it was not necessary due to cool evenings and two fans where avalable in the room if needed. There was no TV which was great for us, we wanted to disconnect. Although there is Wifi so you can download movies, games, etc. Also, the breakfast was delicious, fresh fruits, quality breads, homemade muffins and great products from the village. You wake up to the sun rise every morning which was spectacular off the water. We highly recommend this Auberge for a romantic get away, very relaxing and enchanting.

The property is old, but the owner has kept the charm of the property with all the old decor and new modern amenities. Our room Miss lovie was superb, we had an amazing view of the river from our room. The owner made sure that she speaks to each one of her guest every day and understands their request. The breakfast option was very good from the fresh fruits to locally made cheese of the area and freshly baked muffins. I would really want to appreciate Ms. Lise who is the owner of this place for welcoming us to her beautiful place and making us feel we are at our home. And definitely we will return and stay at this place.

Auberge sur La Côte in La Malbaie is a delight. Century old building lovingly maintained and decorated, every detail given consideration. The view from the front garden overlooking the St Lawrence River is breathtaking. Our room was cosy and inviting. The common areas large and comfortable, almost like your own home. The breakfast was tasty with healthy options and served with a smile. We will definitely return.

Our stay was very comfortable and the staff was friendly and very helpful with restaurant suggestions. Accommodation was quiet and very clean. I would definitely come back if returning to the area.

We stayed at this hotel in La Malbaie for a night.The place is quiet and beautiful. It is just 500 metres from the La Malbaie casino. It will take you only 5 to 10 minutes (by walk) to reach the La Malbaie river shore. Breakfast was good too.

Incredible cachet. Staff extremely friendly. Calm, relaxing, peaceful. Reasonable walking distance to the casino. Highly recommend!

IT WAS VERY MUH WHAT WE WANTED, FRIENDLY CLEAN ADN HELPFUL

The hotel is conveniently located near the main road, and just a few minutes drive to the main street of La Malbaie, where one can find some nice restaurants. We stayed there for a weekend in October. Not many guests around. Staff was very friendly, spoke English, easy to communicate. Breakfast was the best part of our stay! Highly recommend.

Nice and comfortable hotel in La Malbaie. Hotel was over our expectations with excellent beds, good but quite expensive breakfast (brunch on Sunday) and well cleaned room. Unfortunately, the highly prized restaurant by other customers, was already fully booked for the evening when we arrived at four in the afternoon as there are a lot of restaurant customers not staying in the hotel. Only possibility to have dinner already at 5:30, which was to early to us, but we could check the quality of food during brunch the next morning. Service in the restaurant and the hotel reception a little bit chaotic... Other negative point is that the hotel has no lift. Fortunately our room was at level +1.

We didn’t realize that the rooms were up the set of stairs that opens to a busy restaurant. It wasn’t a problem for me, but it was a surprise. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well appointed with nepresso coffee. We had dinner at the restaurant on our last night and it was the best meal we had in our 5 days in Quebec. Both food and service were exceptional!

Our 3 night stay was amazing! The staff were very friendly and greeted us with a smile every day. The room was immaculate, very comfortable and bright and cheery. The boutique hotel was a beautiful older building with very modern rooms to stay in. The dining rooms were elegant and welcoming. You could eat out on the large veranda or inside. The food was French gourmet at it's best and service was exceptional from the wait staff.

An excellent hotel as a base for Charlevoix. The staff are friendly,professional and helpful. Our upstairs suite was spacious and very comfortable. The Hotel's restaurant is very good.

We loved the rooms. Comfortable beds, revovated clean rooms and nice bathrooms. We enjoyed our breakfast outside with a view on the river...and absolutely delicious!
