The place was exactly how i expected to be as seen online, clean , comfy, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They followed and respected my request to decorate the room for a birthday suprise. There were loads of restaurants and shops within the area. Our room had a jacuzzi and sauna.

Overall the apartment was wonderful. The Jacuzzi was very relaxing and I liked we could connect the smartphone to the tv and listen to music. The big tv against the black background made the screen stand out and the fireplace underneath give the cosy feeling.

The apartment was very beautiful and clean, we also enjoyed the jacuzzi.

When i arrived at the property i was welcomed and the whole check in was so smooth and fast. when i arrived to my room it was beautiful, the bedroom was so cosy and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bath room was so nice which a Jacuzzi bath and TV this really made my stay and was just what the doctor ordered!!!! The living has a L shaped sofa, massive TV with Netflix and a beautiful lit fire look was absolutely perfect. It was so quiet i honestly can not wait for my next night away!!! See you guys soon and thank u for an amazing stay and keep up all your hard work. Sarah x

We stayed in apartment 4 which was absolutely beautiful, large corner sofa which was extremely comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, gorgeous bedroom and bathroom with both a spa bath and rainfall shower. If you're looking for somewhere close to the bars and restaurants this is the perfect spot.

Booking in was easy, the room was clean, big and good facilities, the wifi didn’t work in my room. The bathroom was overall clean but the grouting needed attention, plenty of towels. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The pool was lovely the jacuzzi was lovely and warm, though the water needed a clean. The communal carpets needed a clean, it was a lovely quiet hotel, despite a pub next door. It was reasonably priced, I would recommend it and ill would definitely stay there again.

We arrived early, which proved no problem to the helpful and knowledgeable staff. Overall the hotel was clean but looking a little dated. A good supply of Tea and Coffee was available. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. Like many hotel rooms now there was no main light, just lamps, which I find a bit dreary. The attached spa was ok with a nice jacuzzi and warm pool. But like the main building it was a bit 'worn'. Take your own towel or pay for use. There was also no working lockers. A decent pub serves food just over the carpark. £7 breakfast was basic but good value. Juice, coffee, cereal and cooked.

We stayed in a triple family room which was very spacious. The room was very clean though a little dated perhaps.Beds were comfortable, bedding and towels were spotless and there was plenty hot water. Hairdryer was a great addition. Staff were friendly and the corridors were much more up to date than the rooms. The only downside to our stay was breakfast. It looks as though it was an after thought. Attention to detail was certainly lacking. The mini fridge was in need of a good clean and made us wonder what the kitchen was like . The tea and coffee jars looked dirty and more b&b than hotel spec. The fact the staff wore no uniform or even an apron was off putting. Seeing the chef come out in a grubby tshirt was also unprofessional. It felt as though the fact we wanted breakfast was an inconvenience. Times are hard, i understand that, but waiting staff should have a basic uniform, even matching tshirts, and chef most certainly a clean apron. Pethaps the manager should help himself to breakfast once in a while .

A very pleasant stay all-round clean spacious rooms with equally spacious bathroom with a walk in shower ample seating areas TV and coffee and tea making facilities.lovely pub serving meals and a great selection of drinks children and dog friendly. The staff and clientele are very friendly and welcoming. A home from home experience that I highly recommend and I will definitely stay again.

Views were stunning with cows and sheep in the field in front of our window. Tea, coffee , biscuits and a sweetie jar were replenished everyday. Shower was hot and powerful. Fresh towels provided. Breakfast was delicious (lovely sausages) All breakfast staff were very kind and friendly, took time to chat and ask about our visit. Everything was absolutely perfect for our visit to the emmerdale tour and finding this amazing place made our visit to the area special Thank you all at Chevin guest house We will return and recommend you to everyone.

An exceptionally warm and friendly welcome to a clean, tidy and well-run guest house. The rooms are spacious (without being cavernous), very clean and contain all the expected amenities. The view from the window and the outside balcony is exceptional. We particularly liked that all the bed linen and towels are spotlessly clean white and I have never slept as soundly on a bed that wasn't my own 🙂 A full English breakfast is available in front of a roaring log fire in the dining room and other breakfast options are available.

We had finished visiting friends in a small village about an hour away, and were headed home to the States the next day. The Chevin guesthouse was a perfect option for getting to the LBA airport the next day. We stayed in room 13, which was actually in a barrack on the property, so not the actual guesthouse. Still, it was a very clean and quiet room, and had everything we needed to get a hot shower and a nice night's sleep. The view from our back door/window was peaceful and beautiful. Nikky was helpful and friendly, and we enjoyed a good basic breakfast the morning before we left. We could have enjoyed a full breakfast that was offered, but we didn't have the time. Nikky provided us a number for a taxi service, and the trip to LBA airport was less than 15 minutes. We'd defintely stay here again if/when we visit our pals.

We were stopping overnight on our way up to Northumberland, and having been in the Dakota Glasgow for a drink, we decided to stay here. I signed up to be a Dakota Insider and booked the hotel directly on a room only basis for £146, which I felt for a city centre was good value. I figured that being in a city centre there would be plenty of options for breakfast, and we would typically prefer something light, like coffee and pastries. And sure enough, the next morning we had a light breakfast in 200 Degrees, just up the road. Parking was a bit of a struggle. I think Google Maps wasn't being helpful that day, as we were going round in circles trying to go the wrong way up a one way street. Hopefully this will work better for you. The hotel has discounted parking at Q-Park, The Light with the entrance in St Annes Street - https://maps.app.goo.gl/2m8DC4bYTszfsrb89 The hotel is very clean, modern and chic. Check in was efficient and we were assigned room 109 on the first floor overlooking the area in front of the hotel. Our room was also clean, modern and spacious with a lovely bathroom too. We slept well as, although we were only on the first floor, noise from outside was limited as the hotel is on a no through road, so any traffic is limited. We were impressed by the hotel and would stay in one again

What a great find. The Dakota is very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. It’s also perfectly situated in the heart of Leeds and just a few minutes walk from the train station. The beds are very comfortable, the blinds block out all of the sun, and the breakfast was a perfect start to the day. The staff at the Dakota are attentive and helpful. Petra in particular went well above and beyond and helped us change plans at the last minute. She really made our whole trip to the UK so much nicer and we’re very appreciative of her eagerness to help. If you’re looking for a luxury experience at a reasonable price, this is your spot.

Hotel was lovely. Rooms very nice, staff friendly cant do enough for you. Restaurant smart, food amazing, but only a small range on the menu. If you like too much choice then maybe not for you. Food 100% every meal was hot with great flavours. Also we had breakfast and that was just as good. Me being picky i ordered a few different things mix and match for breakfast which was no bother at all for them to meet my needs. It came quick and was lovely and hot. It filled us up until tea time. Overall our stay was briilant, we would come again in a heartbeat. Great location for everything, shopping, shows, bars, restaurants, car parks etc. Cant wait to come and stay again. Only down side was the bill in the restaurant, added 12.5% for staff tips which i knew about which was fine, but then ontop of that was another 20% tax ontop of my bill added on. Cant say when i have eaten out and got my bill ive had added tax ontop of the final amount. That is the only negative bit of our stay.

Location was central to most things in Leeds. The apartment spec was fantastic - luxurious and spacious bedrooms, clean and well equipped bathrooms and beautifully appointed and comfortable living area. The supplied muffins, conserves and tea/coffee was a lovely touch and the reception staff were welcoming and helpful as well. I will certainly stay here again when in Leeds.

Highly recommended.

After some horrible experiences and a hasty exit from a bad airbnb we were able to book this last minute. We arrived late at night and the staff waited for us in the rain to help us bring in our luggage (it was around 10:30pm). We arrived to a sparkling clean room. We cannot stress enough how much we appreciate the care that is obviously put into cleaning the rooms and making things comfortable for guests. Props to whoever does the housekeeping- we can see that they work very hard and don't cut corners. Staff are lovely and helpful. Beds were very comfortable, linens were clean and soft and towels (and robes) were likewise soft and inviting. The kitchen was spotless and well-appointed and we appreciated having a washer/dryer available. The apartment was well-insulated and we barely heard sounds from the street. It was quite cold the week of our visit but we were very cosy and enjoyed the tea and biscuits they very kindly left in the cupboard for guests. Would definitely stay here again on future visits and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Leeds! It's a great location right next to the train station and supermarkets are within walking distance. Thanks for a lovely stay and for restoring our faith in hospitality on this trip!

We were unexpectedly upgraded so that my daughter could have her own room. The apartment was so spacious and provided everything and more in fact. We were not expecting breakfast but there was milk in the fridge and cereal, muffins with jam and butter and tea and coffee! Beds were so comfortable and lovely toiletries in the en suites. My daughter is starting uni in Leeds so these apartments will be great for us when we visit her. The location is great too especially if travelling by train. Also the reception staff were so helpful and friendly.

Beautiful quiet location yet accessible for A1 and other locations. Such a friendly and welcoming reception on arrival plus complimentary drink. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable (bed ok but I find all hotel beds hard). Bathroom modern and clean. Dined in hotel restaurant and good was outstanding just be aware all has Asian influences. Breakfast was fabulous lots of menu choice or have it your own way plus all continental options. Dined in bar too where food was more simple but equally delicious. All staff we met were warm, friendly and exceptionally helpful. Also had a massage in spa which again was faultless. Walk suggestions available from reception. Couldn’t recommend more highly and we will definitely return. If only all hotels are like this!

We had just finished a 2 week tour of Scotland and Ireland and stayed over for 3 days to visit with friends in Yorkshire. I searched online for a place about halfway between Leeds-Bradford and Boston Spa and found Wood Hall. I checked out the reviews and description and selected it. It was absolutely perfect for us to relax and rest up before our long flight back home. The remote countryside locale and the wonderful ambiance of the restored mansion made a powerful first impression. We arrived a little early to check in but the hostess made us comfortable in the drawing room and served us complimentary tea and biscuits while we waited a short time. That was just the beginning of a truly memorable visit and by far the most comfortable accommodations we had the entire trip. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was excellent, the room was large and warmly comfortable. Our friends came to dinner the first evening and were profoundly impressed. There were 2 large weddings during our stay but no intrusion on our comfort, quietness or service by the staff. We enjoyed the spacious facilities and grounds and the scenic overlook from the front of the hotel. The décor and furnishings in every area created a wonderful atmosphere of rich quality without being over the top. We looked forward each day to enjoying a friendly relaxed sense of welcome peace and goodwill among the staff and fellow guests. In many ways, we regretted having to leave and return home but hope to return.

Off the beaten track but well worth the detour to enjoy our wedding anniversary. As we found ourselves "up north" we decided to try to find a quiet hotel with a touch of luxury and good cuisine. The Wood Hall ticked the box. The room, bay window view over the rolling grounds, was well furnished with comfy bed and loungers. Lovely clean bathroom. But without doubt the best bits were the welcoming staff. Always around if and when needed, happy to try to please. Nice to hear local accents too. Dinner was perfect and the spread for breakfast, vast and delicious. Good choices of wines beers and spirits albeit that they were a little top end. But, hey, the event was a celebration! We had been welcomed with complimentary drinks, fed and well looked after. If we had booked in for a second night we would also have been able to enjoy the local walks and the spa facilities. Unfortunately we had to head south. Thank you Wood Hall. We shall return.

The Grange is a real oasis - you would never think you were in the middle of a town. It's very quiet, the garden is beautiful, and the house itself is very calm and peaceful. Sarah and Stuart were lovely - very helpful but never intrusive. Guests have their own provate lounge, which even has an honesty bar - all proceeds to a local animal charity. The bedrooms are spacious, very comfortable, great beds, and with many extras - eg a mini fridge with fresh milk, much appreciated. There is a table on the landing with extra supplies of everything - all sorts of teas, extra coffee, etc. The ensuite bathrooms are excellent. The breakfast was excellent too. The home made jams were fantastic, a world away from the horrible little plastic packets provided in some places. There was nowhere local open for dinner on a Sunday night (though annoyingly Google had said that there was) but Sarah directed us to a nearby shopping complex with lots of choice, and we had a good meal at Pizza Express. You are also welcome to bring in takeaways to eat in the lounge and Sarah will provide plates and cutlery - you are asked not to eat these in your rooms, which seems like a very sensible rule to me. We stay in a lot of guest houses and hotels, and this has been one of the best.

Sarah and Stewart couldn’t have been more welcoming. We were delighted with our large room with all the comforts we could have wanted. There was even a mini fridge with chilled milk for out tea and coffee in the morning. The bedroom furniture was from a company called ‘Reclaimed’ and was most attractive. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was much larger than usual and had the most attractive Art Deco tiles on the wall and a generous walk-in shower. We ordered an Indian takeaway for which Sarah set a table in the breakfast room. There was a comfortable lounge and an honesty bar with beer, wine, spirits etc. Our breakfast was accompanied by homemade jams and marmalade - I recommend the rhubarb and ginger! I don’t hesitate in recommending this amazing B&B!

Stayed for 2 nights at The Grange in Cressey room, a double room with King sized bed. The room overlooks the garden and is extremely quiet. The owners, Sarah and Stewart were away, however we were looked after extremely well by their daughter, Kate. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed was very comfortable with high quality sheets, pillows and pillowcases. The room was well equipped with tea and coffee making facilities, safe, iron and ironing board and electric fan. The multi choice breakfast was plentiful and filling. Both mornings we had cooked breakfast, fruit, yoghurt, cereals and porridge were also available. The Grange’s many facilities include a lovely lounge with adjoining honesty bar. Safe car parking behind secure electronic gates, walking distance into the centre of Normanton if required. Overall, a faultless stay in a fabulous B&B.

View of garden and church yard was lovely green while in the town. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruit and well cooked! The very large room,was spotless , fresh & had everything you could need. Our room faced the street & we had no issues with noise at all. The bed was so comfortable that I will be messaging the hotel to find out which model of mattress they use. The bathroom was also very large & spotlessly clean, with the shower being one of the best we have used in a hotel. We traveled by train & the hotel's location could not have been better,being a few minutes stroll from the station. Overall ,our experience of the Quebec's hotel was excellent & also Leeds as a city, friendly people, clean & very accessible,we will certainly be back.

The hotel is a beautiful historic building-an oasis right in the city centre. The Oak Room, where we had our 50yr Reunion, is most impressive. Our wishes to tailor the event to our own requirements, right down to including our own flower arrangements, were welcomed The dinner itself was good, especially as guests could choose individually from selected menu, at a reasonable price. Breakfast, provided at an additional cost, was served in the Conservatory & was served from fresh ingredients The bar is only small but manned by a very helpful & friendly barman who arranged for drinks requested in advance to be provided additionally. The house wines were exceptionally good & very reasonably priced. The period rooms were fabulous-very individual, elegant & spotlessly clean, with very comfortable beds. All our group’s varied requirements were provided for. Some of us also had the surprise of an upgrade Throughout, the staff were smiling, friendly, helpful & willing to go the extra mile. Many of our group commented that they’d like to have another reunion there next year. It really is a little gem of a hotel.

Quebecs is a beautiful hotel in an historic building in the centre of Leeds. It's a couple of minutes' walk from the station on a quiet street so its location is perfect for a city visit. My room was stylish and luxurious, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and delivered with full table service. The staff were attentive, helpful and friendly. I felt extremely well looked after.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast this morning and loved the convenient location close to city centre and train station . We will definitely be back well done to receptionist at desk didn’t get her name but she went above and beyond and even recommended a restaurant that went to and food was amazing. Staying at this hotel for a work conference, I had a room on the 4th floor which has easy access via lift or stairs. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge, smart TV and a safe. The room had everything needed for a 3 night stay, including a decent shower. The breakfast was a good standard, with it being self serve. A juice bar, bread and cooked food of a decent standard and helpful staff. The hotel location is great, relatively close to the main station, If you leave the station on the canal side its just a few minutes walk but its far enough that the train sound didn't intrude and yet still close to the river and the city centre. The hotel is modern and the staff were friendly from the moment we walked in up to the point we left 2 days later. The room was peaceful and spacious. There is a fridge and a safe in the room for those essentials. The highlight for us was the AZOTEA rooftop bar, the views are great from either balcony. The food, music and drinks were great, especially in the evening. If you are planning to eat there, book in advance as it gets busy very quickly in the early evening. The breakfast is buffet style and unlike some hotels, the staff were constantly checking there was sufficient food available. All round a great stay!

I was very impressed with the room that I had booked. It was spacious, with plenty of space to hang clothes (and plenty of hangers - nice wooden ones, not mismatching plastic ones I am used to!). The bed was large and comfortable, and everything was incredibly clean. The bathroom was very luxurious, with plenty of toiletries and clean fluffy towels. The hotel, although very near the train station and busy city centre, was very quiet. It was a nice change to have plug sockets and a full length mirror in a convenient place - something not often considered in a lot of hotels. I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience and would definitely book here again.

Very helpful reception staff. Room clean and beds comfy. Breakfast very tasty. We had drinks at rooftop bar and decided to eat there that evening. It was great. Once again lovely staff. Food was delicious and the Latin American themed night was so good. Really couldn't fault the hotel and I would return.

The hotel is kind of situated in a courtyard but is easy to find , The arrival experience for myself was ok, was quick and sufficient, however the staff at reception seemed rather quiet, but helpful enough to pin point to myself where the rooms are, and breakfast times etc. The dining options where very good indeed, especially at the Gino restaurant , food and service was very good , top quality and plenty of decent seating options, the bar was nice to unwind and relax in either before or after dinner. Also a lovely discount voucher for the Gino restaurant given to you at arrival for guests staying in the hotel, which was a very nice gesture. Thank you Marriott. The room itself, I was impressed with, it offered a minimal view of Leeds city centre, and it was quiet with no city noises or air con vents, construction work etc, so that was pleasant. The room is very modern, nice contrast in exterior colours for the room, a lovely seating area, and the bed was very comfy indeed. The room for cleanliness was superb. I know now this Marriott keeps standards high! It was also nice to have free tea/coffee facilities and a room service menu,

An outstanding Marriott on all counts. It's an easy walk from the train station. Don't follow Google Maps. Stay on the main streets. The Marriott is right in the center of town, but set back in a beautiful quiet courtyard. The lobby is serene and peaceful. There's always some delicious fruited water available. There is a restaurant in the lobby that serves three meals a day. The rooms are standard Marriott design and spotlessly clean. We love the wonderful Marriott beds and linens. The toilteries are perfectly scented, An electric kettle with some teas and coffee are in the room and replenished daily. There's a big TV and good wifi. We were fortunate enough to have access to the Executive Lounge. They serve a nice bufffet breakfast. Light snacks and drinks are out all day. In the evening there is a fun happy hour with beer, wine, and hot and cold snacks. The staff keep the lounge clean and well supplied all day. A shout out to Claudia at the front desk and Paul in the Executive Lounge. Both went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful and memorable. I missed the Leeds Marriott the minute we checked-out.

We have just stayed at the Marriott Hotel Leeds. We had a fabulous visit to Leeds and our stay at the hotel was superb. From checking in with Emma who is a very professional, helpful and kind lady on reception, to all the staff we came in contact with. The room was really nice as was the bar and Gino's restaurant. We had a few drinks in the bar and were looked after by Harry who was very professional, and also friendly, happy and very helpful. We then had a meal in Gino's restaurant and again it was excellent, the food was lovely and we were looked after by Leah and Mya who could not have been more helpful. Many thanks to all concerned for a lovely stay.

Super location and very clean and quiet rooms. Very modern and everything works. What made this stay really special was the breakfast. The food was fresh and hot and tasty thanks to head chef Alex! Perfect location for our one night stay to attend the theatre and travelling by train, staff were all so helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and so comfortable with everything we needed. The layout was really good. Everything you need, a dishwasher, a coffee machine, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, an oven, plenty of cooking utensils. Nice touch touch with the juices, coffee pods and biscuits, dishwasher tablets, and cleaning products. The bathroom was lovely. Really nice rain fall shower, with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, handwash and plenty of loo rolls. Lots of clean towels also available. Good wardrobe size in bedroom with plenty of coat hsngers, extra pillows and blankets, along with a fan if needed. Can park right next to the appartment on the red resin which is also under CCTV. Our only issue is our own fault for not reading but it's 2 single beds and not a double. But like I said that's my doing for not reading properly. Host was nice and pleasant, and helpful too. Tesco 4 min drive away. Marks and Spencers 7 min drive away, along with a large shopping complex. Sofa could do with a clean, but nothing else at all. Would stay again.

Adam was fantastic and really helpful. Met us at the apartments and walked us through doors, key codes, heating etc... Fab location as nice and quiet away from the hustle of town but really easy to get in and was around a 20 min walk into the centre. Apartments where lovely and modern, clean, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely touches and welcome coffee, sweets and biscuits. Highly recommended and we would definitely book again if visiting Leeds ! Fantastic weekend made better by lovely surroundings. Huge thanks from all the girls !

- We stayed here after Slam Dunk festival and the property was in a great location for this. It was only a short Uber ride away from the festival grounds and from the town. - Apartment building was easy to find and to drive to. We were able to park our cars in front of the building, but there was plenty of on street parking available too. - Location was very quiet so could sleep with the windows open if it got too warm. Felt safe and secure too. - Apartment was absolutely lovely inside. It was fabulously decorated and well maintained. There was plenty of space and it was a great layout. - The complimentary orange juice, tea, coffee and biscuits were a nice touch. If you want a brew though, make sure you bring some milk with you! - Had to call and bother the host a few times and they were very helpful when we got in touch with them. - Would 100% stay here again!

Breakfast was chaotic as the restaurant seating area is not large enough to accomadate the number of guests and this caused many to take the breakfast into other ground floor areas to eat i.e the bar area and reception. However, the restaurant staff worked very hard to keep tables cleaned between guests and keep the food replenished. Great hotel for a Leeds City Centre stay.

Fantastic hotel, very central location and had a reasonably large carpark underneath it. We arrived at 7pm on a Friday night and there were still some spaces left, which we were very grateful for. (NB - Go very slowly down the entrance ramp if you have a car with a low front!) The hotel was very clean and well equipped. There’s a small gym with several machines, two treadmills, two bikes and a selection of free weights and a fitness centre with sauna and steam room, but unfortunately we didn’t really get time to enjoy it as we had arrived later than we planned, had to rush out for dinner, and we had to leave early the next day. The beds are SO comfortable, 10/10 for the bed. Most comfortable hotel bed I think I’ve ever slept in! Room well equipped with nice things. Every staff member we dealt with was so helpful, friendly and kind, thank you. I really noticed this and it was very welcoming. We had breakfast and it was really good, huge selection of food which was regularly being topped up and kept tidy. The plates were hot for the cooked breakfast, and all the food was well cooked and hot too. We were glad we paid the extra (£15) to have breakfast at the hotel.

Superb stay. Very convenient with spacious room. Staff were professional and friendly, most welcoming. I had an experience which made my stay very memorable - the manager of the restaurant at breakfast the second day actually remembered my room number - how amazing is that, our friendly chat really made my day and my stay, a personal touch which cemented Novotel as outstanding.

Booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 kids, which came with one double bed, one single bed, and a single sofa bed that can be combined into a super king. Perfect for families, our kids could sleep close to us, felt safe, and we all slept comfortably. Beds, pillows, and blankets were excellent, and even with three beds the room still had plenty of space. Air conditioning was strong and very comfortable. The toilet and bathroom are separate, which is convenient for families, though it means you need to walk over to wash your hands after using the toilet. Amenities didn’t include toothbrushes, toothpaste, or slippers, but the room had a safe, kettle, instant coffee, tea bags, and best of all, a fridge to store drinks and fruit. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar, and the location is excellent: about 5 minutes to the train station, 10 minutes to the City Centre, and within 10–20 minutes’ walk of major attractions. Parking is available in the hotel basement, reasonably priced at £15 for day parking or £18 for 24 hours. Plenty of clean parking spaces. Overall, considering we stayed during peak summer season, the price was very fair, likely due to a promotion. With its great location, facilities, and comfort, I’d say it’s excellent value for money.

This is a great hotel for a stay in Leeds. All members of staff were friendly, welcoming and efficient; the room was modern, spacious, very clean and had everything needed; the buffet breakfast was excellent with plentiful choice. The on site parking was very convenient.

Breakfast was a very good offering in an airy, large room. There is an outside terrace and on sight restaurant, though we only had breakfast. All staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. There is ample free parking which offset the need for a Uber into Leeds (£7 in at midday and £16 returning in the evening). This is a family business and I’m pleased to have supported it. I would say that the bathrooms are probably in need of an update and this is where housekeeping needs to pay more attention to maintain high standards. Definitely would be happy to stay again.

Very welcoming, clean and comfortable, lovely staff and great breakfast. We came as a couple just for one night and instantly felt like we had been before and were old friends. The rooms are basic but nicely decorated and very clean. All the staff we interacted with were really lovely. Breakfast was included with our stay, it was great, buffet style breakfast, tea/coffee juices and continental to go with it. Very happy and will definitely be back again with the family next time.

Shower Room with Molton Brown toiletries. The whole apartment was completely spotless and well presented with all crockery and cutlery neatly set out on the table in the kitchen, snacks of crisps and biscuits and coffee pods for the coffee machine with milk in the fridge. Microwave and cooker and hob with everything available to prepare your own food. Clean towels and bathrobes are all supplied. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. We would certainly recommend staying here and would definitely return again if we need to be in the area.

Amazing location, just off Headrow to be quiet but the Light across the road for the cinema and food. Bars in walking distance. The rooms are amazing, comfy and spacious, with the facilities to cook for yourself and a comfy sofa to relax.

The studio was very comfortable with everything that you would need for an overnight stay. The reception is fast and friendly, and the block is in an excellent central location surrounded by shops, supermarkets and restaurants. The smart TV had a great selection of entertainment choices available. The bed was very comfortable and the studio was really quiet and relaxing.

Great value for the money. The hotel was in the city centre, and I honestly can't believe how clean this place was. The facilities were nice (free coffee!!), the bathroom was modern, and the mattress was super comfy! I also appreciated how quiet it was at night. If you're a light sleeper, this is the place! I also requested a quiet room, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate. Leeds is a wonderful city, and it felt nice having the hotel a mere 10 minutes away by foot. The bus station is about 15 minutes away, and the Dominos next door is another great perk ;) Also, the air con was AMAZING . It was 25C during the weekend if by visit, and having the room cooled throughout the day was fab.

The single thing that really stood out for us was the team. From check in to check out, the service we received was exceptional - a special shout out to the guy on the bar and the lady who served us breakfast. You really get the impression that everyone loves working at the hotel and that's a rare thing. Our room - number three - was a little rough around the edges and in need of updating but represented very good value for money. The bed was very comfortable and I loved the arched window overlooking the garden. Drinks on the terrace in the summer sun ahead of travelling to Prashad for dinner was a truly lovely experience. There was music on in the bar the night we stayed (Sean Harrington, amazing) and we loved listening to that with an after dinner glass of wine. It stopped at around 9.30pm so everything was quiet by 10pm. The buffet-style breakfast was lovely with three cooked options, just enough. We really loved staying here and will do so again. The common areas are very pleasant indeed and I'm sure that it won't be too long before all the bedrooms match up to that standard.

From checking in, to checking out, everyone was just so helpful. We were on the 1st floor, a little awkward for me, with limited mobility, but I hadn't realised there were ground floor rooms, so my fault, nothing to do with the hotel. The room was clean and tidy, with tea and coffee supplies, and proper cups, so you could have a proper cuppa. The bathroom had everything it needed, was a tad small but did the job. The lady on reception booked taxis for us for a gig we were going to in Huddersfield. The staff in the restaurant were polite and friendly. Bar had an excellent choice of beers and lagers, and the food was delicious. Great breakfast nicely cooked and presented.

Stayed one night in a “snug double” as a solo - perfect size for me and quite comfortable. Used as a base for a local party, so didn’t use the hotel much, but enjoyed an afternoon beer in the lovely outside seating area. Came back late and a wedding do was in full flow - so quite noisy, but didn’t affect me too much, but might if you wanted a quiet night. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Included breakfast was delicious. Free parking felt safe too. Overall a nice stay. I’d choose this place again.

My third stay at this very comfortable hotel. A small double room and excellent bed. I decided to stay in for dinner, and chose a very tasty steak & ale pie with soft buttery mash and a rich gravy. It was a busy evening in the restaurant & bar following a wedding but the service was, as always, quick and friendly from the young team. Excellent freshly cooked Yorkshire breakfast - just perfect.

Enjoyed our stay at the Pine Marten. We had booked because we wanted to visit RHS Harlow Carr which is only 100 meters down the road. The staff at the hotel were really friendly and attentive. The hotel is a gorgeous property and the public areas are sumptuously decorated with interesting and comfortable seating areas. We had lunch dinner and breakfast at the hotel and all of the meals were delicious. Booked a larger room which was at the back of the property. It was really quiet couldn't hear the traffic or other guests. Bed was very comfortable. Room was clean had everything we needed for a one night stay but lacked a little character considering the age and exterior beauty of the building. Minor point though as everything else was great.

Only one evening meal, which again was served well, very good produce and tasty food. Bar was well stocked, with prices not too bad. Rooms good, beds pretty comfy, bathroom shower only, but this was sufficient for our stay. Good tea tray selection of teas and coffee. Overall a very pleasant stay and somewhere we would consider returning to.

My room was very comfortable with a wonderful bathroom. It was cosy and quiet. Breakfast was very good. Evening meals were exceptional. Very big compliments to the chef. One meal was sea bass, which I love and this meal was the best sea bass I have ever had, and I have had a lot! Staff were kind and very helpful and friendly. i loved the situation so near to RHS gardens and the woodland walk down into Harrogate,

The room was lovely and had everything we needed. The shower was fantastic and the bed was comfy. They even had soya milk options with the tea and coffee stuff with the kettle, which was a first for us. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and same with the fried breakfast choices. I had the veggie cooked breakfast, but my boys had meat options and said the bacon was amazing.

Excellent facilities. Enjoyed the pool, steam room and Jacuzzi. Well equipped gym. Delicious breakfast too. Great service and advice from Owen in the Spa on where to buy swimmers locally and run outside nearby.

The room was lovely, great space. The fridge and tea/ coffee provision was excellent. Once paid a small fee for the spa, we could go any time during our stay and the gym was very good and well sized and the pool / jacuzzi/ steam room / sauna was lovely.

Overall comfortable, Breakfast was good, Spa was ok , the jacuzzi was out of order. The food & drinks were not great in the restaurant. should shandy be fizzy? Mine was flat , when I pointed it out and it was taken away I was told bitter is flat! The bitter Also looked more like larger in colour pale, I was charged for the one taken away. Coffee machine didn’t work, got a replacement quickly, The room was comfortable, The spa treatment amazing. I would go again but not eat in the restaurant.

The spa treatments were top notch. Very relaxing atmosphere. The jacuzzi area around the pool was perfect. I used the functional studio myself to do some yoga and stretching with the foam roller in the studio: and it was a perfect space. The food was perfect as well. Breakfast very nice. I did enjoy the child-free enviroment in the pool area (just the phase of life I'm in as children now in their 20s).

Along the corridor was a small kitchenette with complimentary tea and coffee, accessible to all. Breakfast was good, and plentiful, with continental and hot buffet options, and the rooms in the lower area of the building were also equipped for tea and coffee. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, I arrived an hour early and was able to check in straight away. The member of staff also checked if I was going out, asked when I would return and gave me a key fob to access the building out of hours, along with 2 phone numbers to call if I had any problems. As a solo female traveller, I felt completely safe and comfortable at Hinsley Hall, and would absolutely stay here again.

Everything here is as it always has been. Very pleasant staff, exceptionally clean and functional rooms, with large bathrooms, soft towels, and comfy beds. The availability of tea and coffee making facilities, along with iron and ironing board in the communal kitchenette is a bonus, as well as tea and coffee in the lounge at any time. Very peaceful surroundings, quiet rooms, and plentiful free parking are a bonus for Leeds, and not too far away from attractions and the city. The breakfast is superb, with plenty of food, fruit, cereal, juice, toast all on offer at the buffet, and the staff are welcoming and efficient. All in all, I hve always enjoyed staying here, and hope to contiue that for as long as I can.

Check in was easy and very pleasantly handled. The car park is a bonus as it's free and plenty of spaces available. The room for the three of us was large, with plenty of shelving and hanging space. The bathroom was huge, and spotlessly clean, and the towels provided were soft and a generous size. There was a small problem with the shower head, which was rectified very swiftly with no fuss, and great service. The beds were comfortable and plenty of plug points easily accessible, with a nice desk and chair. The breakfast is always a good one with plenty of choices, and in a very nice dining hall. I have never had any problems staying here, and highly recommend Hinsley Hall as a great place to stay as it is quiet, despite being just off the main road, has a nice lounge, plenty of tea, coffee etc on hand, and a great breakfast after a good nights sleep. Any problems are handled with no fuss, and the staff are always friendly and professional.

Very clean and convenient accommodation. So you know, it's a conference centre for the Catholic diocese of Leeds, so the rooms are functional, like student halls, and there is religious iconography on the ground floor, but that's fine by me. Very quiet, and convenient for Headingley. The breakfast was great, served canteen style in a lovely light dining room. There is a cosy bar and a lounge, with free tea, coffee and hot chocolate at any time. There are also kitchenettes on the corridors, with a tea machine and an iron. There are lovely grounds with a historic feel. If you want luxury, it's not the place for that, but it is reasonably priced and good for what you get. It's mainly used for conferences and business meetings - there was an NHS conference when I was there.

Bedroom was comfortable for our needs. Generally clean overall but a little dusty and some cobwebs in the room and on ceilings. Behind the beds need cleaning as this was visible when accessing plug points. Breakfast was excellent and great value as included in room price. The grounds and surrounding gardens were beautiful. The hotel is easy to get to from the station and has an attractive bar/eating area and a large beer garden. Donna was very welcoming and explained all the hotel policies clearly, giving us a handy print out showing everything we needed. Our room was large and prettily decorated. The bed was very comfortable and lighting can easily be controlled from the bed. Each side of the bed has wall sockets. The bathroom was also large with a roomy walk in shower and rainfall or standard shower options. We had the buffet breakfast on our first morning which is included with the room rate and offered plenty of choice. On ur second morning we opted for a cooked breakfast at a very reasonable cost. My partner throughly enjoyed his full English and Paul kindly prepared me a delicious meat-free breakfast. I asked for an iron as we had a wedding to attend and Donna went above and beyond by going out to buy a new one for us. Absolutely lovely wee hotel. We’d definitely return.

The staff were welcoming and professional on my arrival. The bed was very comfortable, and the room had a big sink and a desk, and working sky TV. The room was clean and had a beautiful design. The hostel's location was easy to find from Castleford city centre by foot as it was on a road, and the location was quiet at night. The price of the room included breakfast which we could help ourselves to, between 8.30am and 9.30am. On weekdays breakfast was served between 7.30am and 8.30am. The food was varied and tasty, and had fresh berries and other fruit as well as cereal, ham, cheese, yoghurts, toast etc.. I travelled alone, and I recommend this place especially to solo travellers and newcomers to Castleford, as the single room was very nice, and the location was safe to walk to, and the hotel was easy to find, if coming on foot from the bus or train station.

Friendly staff from start to finish. Rooms were clean and equipped as expected with a nice big comfy bed, plenty of tea and coffee facilities, and a nice sized TV; and unlike some hotels plenty of plugs for chargers in places that made sense! Seemed to be a family run pub and you got that nice feel from the start. Its not a 5* hotel by any means BUT don't let this put you off. Its a friendly, comfortable place to stay with parking, a nice continental style breakfast, and affordable hot options which were freshly cooked not off some buffet! (sausage sandwich was top). If you need a comfy place to get some sleep, freshen up and head out, this is the place.

We went to watch the rugby so being right outside the ground was obviously perfect. But the town centre is only a ten minute walk away if that. Continental breakfast included in the price, but we 'upgraded' for a full English and my was it FULL... Plentiful and delicious. The room was large, comfortable and clean and had everything you might expect for a short economic stay... Staff very pleasant and helpful from checking in, serving us at busy times when the bar was full and the morning after at breakfast. Might have been a few years since we were last there, but the value for money and service is just as good as it used to be...

The breakfast staff were welcoming and helpful. Coffee was brought to the table within minutes of ordering and breakfast arrived soon after. All staff were friendly and helpful towards our 17month old too which is always pleasing. They even had baby size cutlery! (The little things really mean a lot!) Overall the place was fab and far far cheaper than anywhere else nearby for the same night! We will definitely be back.

We had a treble room for one night it was clean and comfortable it had Tea and coffee in room, hairdryer, TV and large bathroom with electric shower. The pub restaurant was busy but the food was fresh and hot. They also had a nice coffee shop which was open during day but you could sit there in evening to eat your meal... The breakfast in morning was great we had the cooked breakfast which although we went for small was certainly not small! Sausage, 2 eggs,mushroom hash browns and beans and a large tomato! there with a pot of tea each and 2 rounds of toast and fresh orange certainly set us up for the day...The staff were pleasant and the manager Mandy was really friendly. Overall I felt it was great value for the 3 of us and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to others or returning again..

Absolutely lovely stay, fantastic welcome from start to finish and great value for money. On arrival Mandy checked us in and personally took us to the room, give us an overview and helpful little tips. Attached to a lovely little pub which we did not get to use but looked very homely with a lovely atmosphere. The stable rooms are very clean and comfortable, on arrival about 8pm heating was on and room very cosy and very clean. Plenty of amenities, loads of teas, coffees, milk and biscuits and in the bathroom a nice gel, shampoo and cream for each guest. Don't know the area at all but it felt very safe and within a one minute walk of the hotel is a fish and chip shop, two Chinese takeaways, a Dominos pizza and an Indian restaurant. Beds ultra comfortable so a good nights sleep. In the morning was again greeted by Mandy for a beautiful breakfast, cereals, juice, teas and coffees and a choice from full English, Bacon Rolls, Eggs Benedict and many more, all included in the price. All staff were extremely welcoming, in particular Mandy, fantastic value for money and will most definitely use again next time we are travelling north.

In a small stable cottage consisting of bedroom and nice neat shower room. Was brilliant for us as no stairs to carry our items up. Even had a coffee machine. Staff where very helpful in all respects. Even getting a family member to move one of their cars to fit ours in. In my eyes that is exceptional service, going beyond expectations. Despite the rain, it was great for getting a bit of air in and watching the city life go by! We'd definitely choose a balcony studio when booking again! + Apartment featured everything we needed for a night's stay, and with the small but fully-fitted kitchen we could have been comfortable there for a much longer stay too. + Good sized bed, with firm mattress and fresh linen - we slept very well. + Grab and go breakfast was super convenient for us, to pick up a couple of pastries before heading on our way.

Had a warm welcoming from Leah at reception to check us in who was wonderful !! Immediately eased my anxieties by explaining all information very clearly. When asked we mentioned it was my parters birthday to which they received a written card and small cake from the hotel which was incredibly kind. The room was very clean when we arrived, nice and spacious with everything you could need included in the kitchen area. The bed was wonderfully comfortable, some of the best sleep I’ve had in a while ! Air conditioner in the room also helped to make the stay extra comfortable. Location of the hotel was perfect, every restaurant/pub/shopping centre you could dream of all within a 15minute or so walk, as well as being close by to the train station. Definitely will be looking to stay again and can’t wait for my next trip !!

Excellent location, 5 minutes from the station and 3 minutes from the town centre. There were bars and restaurants on the doorstep. All of the staff were polite and friendly. The room itself was more than we could have hoped for. It was very clean with a hugh comfortable bed, lounge and kitchenette. It was very well equipped with underfloor heating in the bathroom and air con in the main room. There were also freebies, tea, coffee and hot chocolate in reception, croissants in the morning in reception and a telephone in your room for local calls with a button to call a taxi. Truly outstanding.

We had a wonderful stay at The Calverley Arms, which is situated in lovely wooded surroundings on the edge of Calverley. Parking was easy, check in and check out were smooth. The room was pristinely clean, it was spacious and well equipped, although we did find it a bit cold & the radiator wouldn’t switch on. Perhaps we should have mentioned this at the time. The bed was comfortable and we both slept very well - a bonus for us these days! The shower room was amazing - spacious, a super shower, 2 sinks, lovely toiletries and soft clean towels. There was a good choice at breakfast, which was eaten in a beautiful & relaxing setting. All the staff we encountered during our stay were so friendly & helpful. We loved the roaring log fire! All in all, a fabulous stay.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The setting, the rooms, the bar and restaurant are all very well maintained and clean & tidy. The staff are all such a welcoming bunch of people, engaging, polite and a pleasure to interact with. Our room was, as usual, beautiful and my daughter was delighted by the cleaners lining up her teddy's on her bed (thank you again) we had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast both mornings, as always the food was delicious, well presented and very tasty. The bar staff, and Reece & Lucy specifically, are such a laugh and really bring a unique element of fun to the generally pleasant atmosphere. Thank you all again so much, can't wait to come again!

Fantastic cooked breakfast, a small breakfast would have been enough so i didnt need any lunch ! Comfortable lounges with well stocked bar, staff very polite and helpful. Ten out of 10 - well done. I stayed on a Sunday night so the hotel was very quiet and very reasonably priced. Ample safe parking for my Bentley !

Can't comment on breakfast but we had a family dinner in the restaurant the first evening and the menu was varied and interesting and very well prepared and served. One guest found a problem with one main course and it was replaced immediately without question. The room we had was large, comfortable, clean and had a lovely bathroom with superb large shower. The staff were friendly, helpful and patient even when the two small children who came with our family group got very boisterous. The location on the edge of the countryside yet a pleasant walk or short drive to Farsley centre is perfect. Big car park at no charge was the icing on the cake for us when many hotels now charge for parking. Thank you for an excellent stay.

My work entails lots of stays at hotels, predominantly on motorway service areas and this was my first experience of a Ramada in such a location. On arrival, the staff were very helpful and explained everything I needed to know quickly and efficiently. Whilst at the check-in desk I was surprised to see the restaurant which looked extremely inviting. I looked over the menu on the desk and found it to be competitively priced, especially for a service area. Later in the evening I had a rump steak, superbly cooked by Melissa the chef. It was sublime. It was offered with chips which I don’t eat but rice was an alternative. I asked if this could be swapped for salad and this was done without issue. I highly recommend this if you get chance. The room was adequately appointed and very clean. I had a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed and was surprised how quiet it was given the proximity to a major road. There was also a great view of the garden type area behind the services complete with a lake which you can take a short walk around. Overall, I was very impressed by the whole experience and the polite, friendly and helpful staff. I just hope that my company uses this location in future.

Although located close to a motorway, it was exceptionally quiet and had grounds that you could walk in behind the hotel. Upon arriving at reception, we were greeted by Claire who was extremely pleasant and it felt as if we have been using the hotel for a long time as her greeting was friendly and very welcoming. Outstanding. We decided to eat at the hotel because the prices seemed extremely reasonable and we were not disappointed. We used the restaurant for two nights and each of our meals were cooked fresh and were beautifully hot. We had the opportunity to chat with Donna who also was extremely pleasant and treated us as if we were regular visitors. Not only were the rooms clean and spacious, the quality of the staff we met were not the usual attitude of a corporate hotel chain but more akin to a small family hotel. Totally recommended. Our special thanks to Claire and Donna who made our stay even more memorable.

I’d like to take a moment to recognise the outstanding service we received from Jane during our stay at the Ramada Hotel. From the outset, she made us feel welcome and at ease, and her friendly, professional approach really stood out. Jane consistently went the extra mile to ensure our stay was comfortable. No Spa etiquette, group of people in jacuzzi making too much noise, believe some were staff / members. Left early because of this. Not the relaxing experience we had hoped for.

Lovely stay at Oulton Hall - first time I have stayed & certainly won't be my last. We used the jacuzzi, sauna & steamroom, then enjoyed an evening meal later in The Calverley & enjoyed beautiful food & excellent service from the restaurant staff. Our spacious room was clean & comfortable with the added bonus of Sky tv & a mini fridge. We felt instantly relaxed from checking in where we were greeted with champagne & a warm welcome. Looking forward to visiting again.

I had a wonderful stay at Oulton Hall in Leeds. Dinner was excellent – the fish and chips were cooked perfectly. The jacuzzi, pool, and steam room were all immaculate and finished to a very high standard, making the spa experience truly relaxing. Rooms were beautifully modern yet tastefully in keeping with the charm and history of the building. A perfect mix of comfort and character.

Had a really nice stay here. The hotel felt welcoming from the moment I arrived, the reception area was bright, clean, and well-presented. I booked the Holiday Inn Express Leeds as a 1 night stay just for a bed for the night between travelling and wasn’t really expecting much. The receptionist was extremely friendly and efficient checking me in (unfortunately I don’t remember her name). All reception, lifts and corridors were immaculate and had a nice fresh smell. I stayed in room 401. My first impression was WOW! The room was extremely modern, great lighting, spotlessly clean and had everything I needed. It was spacious and relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept without disturbance all night. Probably the best nights sleep I have had in months. The bathroom was a little bit grubby in corners, but this hadn’t put me off as everything else was shining and pretty much looked brand new. The shower was the best Ive ever had in a hotel. A proper rainfall shower! Just what I needed to start the day. I will be using this hotel in future every time I stay in Leeds. Great value for money. Its quite a lot cheaper than these expensive hotels in Leeds but the rooms seem to be alot better quality than these expensive hotels. Please keep doing your doing!

Breakfast was really good, staff were mega friendly and helpful, the bedroom was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was also furnished and decorated very modern and fresh throughout too! Close to the city centre but it was still nice and quiet, restaurants and shop all around which was handy.

Was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The rooms were modern, well thought out and spotlessly clean. The pillows and beds were comfy. The reception is bright and open with a cafe and nice bar. Great location with car park next door. The staff were all friendly and really helpful. We got an early check-in, Lauren was great! Breakfast was included and was fantastic. Plenty of choice and the cooked food was hot, fresh and plentiful. Absolutely no complaints! Highly recommend and will return.

We had another wonderful stay! The lady at Reception , I think her name was Addie ,was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always smiling. It reminded me of the warm hospitality you usually find in Thailand hotels, which says a lot! The room was spotless, with a clean and comfortable bed that made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was fresh, warm, and very tasty. Just like my last visit, I’m happy to give another 10 out of 10. Highly recommend!

Apartment 106 was excellent. It had 2 bedrooms, one with ensuite and both bedrooms were large doubles. Bathrobes were provided which was a nice touch. The main bathroom had a walk in shower and everything was provided from shower gels, shampoo, conditioner and some extra such as an exfoliating pad for your skin. All products were Molton Brown which added that extra bit of luxury. Lounge and kitchen area was also spacious tea and coffee were provided and there was also a coffee machine if you wanted a nice coffee instead of instant. The apartment was located in central Leeds and it was easy to walk everywhere. I would definitely stay here again.

The 2 bed apartment was absolutely brilliant! Spotlessly clean with all the basics you could need. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar, snacks, and bottled water are all provided! There were robes for all guests and Molton Brown toiletries. Don't be put off by comments about the views. Yes, the views are of alleyways, and those alleyways do have bins in them but its right in the middle of city center Leeds so theres not a lot can be done about that, it was however surprisingly quiet over night given its location. The staff were very happy and helpful. They guided us in when we could not find reception and went above and beyond to help me locate an item I left in the room.

You couldn't get closer to the shops, bars and restaurants of Leeds. The car parking is very near by and using the code given we got 25% off. The apartment is HUGE, there is a lot of empty space as it feels like a show home that is been used as a Airbnb for now. They could easily add a singe bed to what i imagine would be a study if you were to live there. Everything band new, spotless clean, tea,coffee and milk (and some nibbles) all provided. Great toiletries, there is a washing machine if you were there longer than we were. Beds super comfy nice bedding, would 100% stay here again.

Lady at reception was really friendly and helpful. Brilliant central location close to shops and car park. Flat was clean and beds spacious and comfortable, we would stay here again.

Nice hotel in good location but some things need fixing. The room was very big for one person and it had a comfortable bed, good modern shower, was in a good location, helpful staff, good value. Bad things were the shower was designed without a screen in front of the handheld shower so the floor got flooded all the time. The screen was only in front of the overhead shower. The windows did not stay open as the sashes were broken so had to be propped open. I couldn't open them at all and hotel staff had to open them for me and find something to prop them open. The breakfast was out and not fresh and vegetarian sausages had to be asked for to cook separately

What a lovely hotel. We were able to check in early which was a real bonus. Checked into our room (139) and could not believe the size of it. Loads of space to move around and an enormous bathroom. Room was spotlessly clean and just so welcoming. Fans were supplied which again was a bonus. Coffee and tea making facilities were spot on, and if you wanted more, you just had to ask. Plenty of hot water and a very easy shower. The hotel does so many things right. Lovely bar area which was well used. The afternoon tea looked delicious. A big shout out to every member of staff, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was absolutely spot on. Hot food was on point and very quickly replenished. As a family we could not have wished for any more from our stay at The Midland. Perfect location also for the town and for forster square station. And no noise issues whatsoever. Spot on

After reading the reviews I decided to book this hotel, based on its central location and the free parking. I was not disappointed. From the moment you walk into reception, it was clear this hotel has been well maintained and cared for, despite the age. A fabulous overnight stay. Being Radisson Blu members, we were upgraded to a suite. Gorgeous room, very spacious and clean. Air Con was efficient, ended up turning it down. Location great as we came by train. Despite being in city centre, the room was very quiet. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Eggs fresh and cooked to order. We stayed here this weekend (1st & 2nd December) for our wedding anniversary and I'd definitely recommend it. We stayed on a deal which included an evening meal and breakfast and the food was absolutely delicious. We stayed in a deluxe double room on the mainland which was massive and had a great view of the hotel on the island and the frozen lake around it. The leisure facilities were great and the pool had a great view of the frozen lake. We had the winter warmer treatment which was great value for money and very relaxing. The staff were all friendly, helpful and professional. We'd definitely visit here again and will recommend it to friends and family.

Our room was amazing, we thought they'd put us in the wrong room. The room was huge and the bathroom too. Breakfast was great, but you weren't able to choose your own cooked breakfast so you could choose what you wanted, as it was brought to you. However the breakfast was very nice. The lounge area was so sumptuous, and the chairs were huge. You could order at the bar, and the staff would check where you were sitting, and bring your drink to you. We didn't have dinner, but asked if we could have some chips, which were brought to us in the lounge. Staff, rooms and the hotel in general did not disappoint. Extremely luxurious, and would stay in the hotel again

Our room was fantastic! So spacious and the view over the lake was beautiful. The spa facilities were great and so clean and well maintained. The restaurant Charlies Bar was great, lovely friendly staff and great food. Absolutely gorgeous night away I can't fault the place. We will definitely be coming back.

I'd like to give a long review but this box isn't big enough. So, it's bullet points. Location, you can't beat it. All members of staff were excellent. Room 1 (deluxe double) is very well located with lakeside views. Huge. Lounge area as well as bedroom and massive bathroom with multiple shower and bath. 2 TV's. Bed was very comfortable. All food (we were breakfast and dinner) was excellent. Very good for all diets. Indoor pool, sauna and spa used. All very good. Bar drinks (including hot options) very reasonable in price. Special mentions to Lee on reception, Sophie on breakfast duty and Chloe on Spa duty. Everyone else was super nice too.

The room had a great view of the historic Headingly Cricket Ground. The room itself was spacious with a Queen Anne size bed,. There's ample storage inc a good size wardrobe plus an en suite bathroom with walk in shower but no bath. Staff were helpful and friendly at all times (24 hour reception). Parking inside the ground is a real bonus but check for a clash with match days because this could change. Plenty of local cafes within walking distance (Headingly centre is just a 10 minute walk or £4 - 5 by taxi). Would recommend Lento Cafe particularly if your party have vegan or veggie requirements but it also offers standard breakfast options - great value and excellent service.

Excellent location for visiting our student son in Headingley. The view over the cricket ground was amazing, even though we’re not particularly cricket fans. There’s a real sense of sporting history, especially with the rugby ground next door too. The staff were very friendly, the room spacious and everything was very clean and welcoming.

The place just oozed history. Absolutely loved it. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Ate in the restaurant and that was delicious and had a nice atmosphere. Had a tasty buffet breakfast outside whilst watching the peacocks. Could have stayed much longer. Am sure the spa would have been great too. Will have to return.

Everything from check in where the staff were really helpful and friendly. I had booked only half an hour prior to arrival as we were travelling home from Norfolk and tired of the traffic delays, so it was nice to get such a warm greeting. The room was a little dated but very comfortable and clean. The location of the room (Dahlia)was perfect as we have a dog. Both dinner and breakfast service was faultless, all staff were friendly and attentive. All meals were also lovely.

Excellent hotel. This renovated castle is full of character in a quiet area. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast did not have too much of a choice but what was available was of high quality and satisfied me. I never ate in restaurant but did dine in the bar, again the choice was not too big but the quality was excellent. The staff were polite and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing time.

Stayed for three nights, the history of the building and how peaceful it was helped us take a step away from our busy lives. The lady on reception when we checked in was super helpful and continued to be throughout the stay. The church on site and sitting outside was just so calming. Walking through the Woodland was a highlight, plus the wedding venue they had set up in the woodland, is so beautiful. If anyone is planning on getting married that is a perfect place to do it, it was so pretty at night with the lights and you can just feel how happy you would be getting married down there. The castle is also so close to visit the Battle of Towton site and other historical places. Definitely a place to stay if history is your thing. The food at the hotel is amazing, the steak and chips that I had were amazing. Plus the starter prawns were delicious, definitely advised to eat at the restaurant and who doesn't love a hotel breakfast, it started the day right. We have never relaxed so much!

We had an enjoyable two night stay at Hazlewood Castle. As a family of four we stayed in the Daisy Room which was very comfortable, the two children had the option of sharing a double sofa bed or one using the single bed in the main bedroom. We stayed during Storm Franklin so we arrived during a rainstorm and there was extremely wild and windy weather outside on the first night. The children commented that arriving at a haunted castle in a storm was like the beginning of a Scooby Doo adventure! Excellent food and friendly service in the Vavasour Restaurant, the children’s menu being particularly good value. We also enjoyed a fine lunch in the lounge. We took the opportunity to go on a tour of the castle which was accompanied by a very informative talk from Steve, well worth doing if you have time. Our only criticisms were minor attention to detail points on the room, there were four of us but only two tea cups, more were supplied on request. For some reason there was no waste bin in the room, just the one in the bathroom, so nowhere to put used teabags and empty coffee packets etc. We did mention this to cleaning staff but still no bin arrived. Minor quibbles though in an otherwise enjoyable and memorable half term break.

The reception team kindly arranged it for our early check-in, and the online check-in process made everything effortless. We booked directly with the hotel. Our king-size room was very spacious and spotless, with plenty of room for our four-night stay. The bathroom was also clean and well maintained. We included breakfast with our stay. The continental selection offered the usual variety—bread, croissants, jams, honey, cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, and cereal. The hot breakfast menu, however, was exceptional. I enjoyed a full English, while my husband tried the omelette, pancakes, and scrambled eggs—all perfectly cooked. Over the course of our stay, we managed to sample just about everything! Although we didn’t have dinner at the hotel, I imagine it’s just as good. We did enjoy some drinks at the bar in the evenings—it’s quiet, cozy, and the service is as friendly as ever. Parking in front of the hotel is somewhat limited, but there’s a large car park just across the street that’s locked at night for added security. There are also two charging stations for electric and hybrid cars, which were always available when we needed them. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Not too far out of Bradford, £7 for a taxi into the city centre or there is a bus stop just along from the hotel. So it wasnice and quiet at night, the drinks at the bar are very reasonably priced and bar staff were chatty and friendly. 10.out of 10 all round from us, will definitely book this hotel again!

Nice relaxing atmosphere as soon as you walk through the front door front door. Smallish room but adeqaute for one night - wardrobe space and other storage could be a problem if staying longer. We opted for dinner served in bar area - food hot and tasty - service friendly and efficient. Comfortable King bed but heavy duvet which made it a bit too hot for us. Hot breakfast items and tea and coffee were served to the table - a great improvement on buffet style! Wouldn't hesitate to rebook if needing a room inthe area in future.

I'm glad that I finally got to book the Best Western Bradford Guide Post Hotel for this visit to Bradford. I stayed there for a couple of nights and I loved the comfortable king size bed and the tasty breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful - thank you Emily for being so willing to help and smiling. My room number 15 was quiet and the shower bath was powerful and good. I loved the location too because of it being close to where I wanted to go and had plenty of car parking.

I recently stayed at the Hampton by Hilton in Leeds, and I had a fantastic experience! The hotel is clean, modern, and very comfortable. We got there at around 6pm, possibly a bit later, on 4th of August, literally last minute idea to get a hotel in Leeds, we travelled from Grimsby. Upon our arrival, and to be quite honest, I don't particularly love driving in new cities but it wasn't too stressful and quite easy to find the hotel, the lovely hotel staff were so welcoming, unfortunately I didn't catch their names as I was tired from the drive and eager to go for a look around with my children. It was two lovely ladies, they just made us feel so welcomed and I just want to say a huge thank you to them. The room was great, clean, spacious and the shower was amazing. Literally everything you'd need in the room, unfortunately apart from a fridge. Air con was such a great addition especially as the window doesn't open. Loads of plug sockets and usb ports was great, not all of them worked though. But wasn't an issue for us. Breakfast was awesome, catered for everyone ,the waffle maker with making your own waffles was a brilliant addition too. Was plenty of food, plenty of choice and plenty of seating at a very bright and airy restaurant space. All the staff we encountered were brilliant,helpful. The rooms must be sound proofed as we didn't hear a beep from anywhere, it was quiet and we slept amazing. Even the sofa bed was very comfortable! Brilliant stay and we will surely be back again! stayed 2 nights in early June 2025 over the weekend, it's just on the outskirts of the city centre, nice clean hotel with friendly staff, the reception were very helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was clean with an excellent shower, they gave us fresh towels each day, the breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, our only complaint about the food was that the sausages were a little undercooked, other than that it was very nice, we'd stay here again and would recommend it to friends or family.

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the Hampton by Hilton Leeds City Centre. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel itself was spotless and well-maintained throughout. Our room was clean, modern, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights for us was the breakfast. There was a wide variety of options available, and we were particularly impressed with the gluten-free choices, which was really important for my daughter. It’s not always easy to find such a good range, so this was a big plus. Overall, we had a really positive experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

It had a lovely bathroom with a big walk in shower and a nice clean bed with lovely pillows. The stay was lovely it was so quiet and peaceful. It had really good air conditioning although there was another fan as well. Tea and coffee and complimentary dove handwash, shower gel and shampoo. Lovely big towels and a really nice touch of a sign in the bathroom that said if you had forgot bits to go and talk to reception.(see pic) The whole team were friendly and welcoming. Our only negative was the price of the car parking it cost us £12 from 3 pm until 10 am the next day. Breakfast was nice very efficient.

Room was really spacious and clean, I had a lot of musical equipment with me that I needed to store in my room so this worked out well. The car park seemed safe and I was assured by staff that it was CCTV monitored. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and accommodating. I was given an informative brief of everything when I arrived and offered the additional service of storing my musical equipment even after I completed checkout, I believe the staff member was Isabella, she was very helpful. The location was perfect for me, my visit brought me to rehearsal space on Kirkstall Road Industrial Estate so the location was perfect. Also the Kirkstall Brewery next door was a great place to go in the evening, the other restaurants looked enticing too!

I liked the holiday inn express hotel building as its a big building I love the size of it and the quality of it i loved the staff at the reception as they are very polite kind honest thoughtful helpful and nice and chatty two and they are very good as well. I loved the restaurant bar and cafe i enjoyed the breakfast and the evening meal and pints. I loved the room where I stayed because I love the sofa the bed I enjoyed using both the feather and the soft pillows as well I enjoyed lying in it two as the pillows are very soft comfy and relaxed as well. I liked the condition of the room as its very clean and tidy and its in good condition as well I liked the view and enjoyed watching the view from the room where I stayed in loved the size of the tv where I stayed. I enjoyed my night away at holiday inn express in Kirkstall road im looking forward to stopping here again soon.

We stayed here as we were going to a gig in Leeds , we cancelled our original hotel reservation as when we checked booking.com this was coming in cheaper and a complimentary breakfast, we made the right choice . The staff on arrival were so lovely , the room was spacious , clean , quiet and all complimentary dove toiletry facilities. Iron and ironing board in the room with a hairdryer and tea and coffee making things and a very comfy bed . We ate in the hotel and had a few drinks before heading out and we couldn’t fault the pizza and cheeseburger . Breakfast next day was everything you needed and tasty . Thanks for a lovely stay and your staff especially lady on reception Saturday afternoon sorry didn’t get her name are a credit to your hotel .

The rooms were everything we could ask for!! a brilliant view of Leeds, looked beautiful at night, location was amazing at little Sainsbury’s and small restaurants just to the back of us and then a four minute walk to the clubs and bars on a night. The rooms were ridiculously spacious, all the cutlery and cooking utensils you could ever need. we were very surprised to find a dishwasher, even though none of us knew how to work one haha. there was also two large standing fans, ironing board, and washing machine. large comfy sofa and TV signed into Amazon Prime with a huge of pre purchased movies. This will definitely be a go to hotel any time we stay in Leeds, loved it

The property was clean and tidy, smelt fresh and the host had put heating on for us etc prior to arrival. The balcony offers great views over the city at day and night. Perfect location and we will book again!

The location was brilliant for pubs, shops and restaurants. Less than a 10 minute walk into Leeds Trinity area. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and it was very useful for us to be able to book a car park space underneath the building (as an add on). Communication from the agents was excellent - very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely meal at Ciao Bella which is right outside the apartment.

Stayed here as part of my visit to the Capital Of Culture. I stayed midweek and it was warm and sunny everyday. Check in was straight forward. A fussy key card was required to access the lifts. During my stay I found that many guests struggled with the key card access to the lifts with staff frequently helping out. I stayed on the 6th Floor, the corridors were always spotlessly clean and smelling fresh. My room was small but ample. The TV was small and the heating was difficult to fathom. The bathroom had an old shower curtain that was beginning to show signs of age (mould). But the shower and bath both worked well. Importantly the bed was comfortable and the bedding was fresh. Fresh towels were provided on each day of my stay and my room was cleaned adequately each day with my belongings respected. All reception and housekeeping staff I encountered were pleasant, polite and helpful. Due to several negative reviews on the food, I opted not to dine at the restaurant during my stay. However I did purchase refreshments to take to my room, think cinema prices. One of the highlights of my stay was the complimentary strawberry water upon arrival in the hotel, it was a refreshing treat after days out in the sun. I would visit again, but this hotel wouldn't be my first choice in Bradford.

The welcome on check in was really warm and friendly, with an excellent recommendation for a dinner venue - thank you! Our room on the sixth floor had a wonderful view of the city of Bradford. The bed was comfy, the shower powerful (although it was a fixed overhead unit that didn't allow you to detach and direct the flow). It was clean and functional. Loved the secondary glazing in addition to the double glazing. We could muffle outside sounds or have the window open for air. The blackout curtains were wonderful in giving us a good long sleep each night. Car parking in the NCP car park as recommended was straightforward and cost just over £10 per night - with the hotel's discount on the full price as they described. They can't discount the car park's app price though and this would have been marginally cheaper but not wanting another parking app that I wouldn't use again, I was happy with the hotel discount on full price and pay at machine before exit. Would definitely stay again 😊

Had an excellent 3 night stay whilst visiting family in Bradford. The perfect base. Clean rooms - very spacious. Two king sized beds in the family room. Bathroom was clean and towels and pillows perfect. AC worked well and shower temperature and pressure was fine. Was nice to have a kettle in the room. Would definitely stay again.

The room was very spacious with everything we needed including a small fridge,coffee machine & complimentary gown & slippers. The bottled water & chocolates were a nice touch! The hotel has a nice bar & restaurant however we wanted to explore Leeds and it was just a flying visit so we didn’t eat in the restaurant but the menu looked very nice. We enjoyed breakfast the following day though. The staff were again,very friendly and the breakfast was very nice indeed. Lots of choice and a few healthy options with Greek yoghurt,fruit and nuts as well as scrambled egg & smoked salmon. Upon check out the receptionist was lovely and recommended places to visit in Leeds. We enjoyed a comfortable stay and were made to feel welcome. Would recommend and would visit again!

The room was gorgeous! Massive high ceilings, comfy bed and pillows, absolutely spotless. The whole concept/design/theme is amazing. So fresh and not boring at all. Staff were friendly and welcoming even though it was super busy. Location is good too. I’ve had nicer bathrooms at other hotels in Leeds but it was still nice. Spotless again. We stayed here for a gig at Project House as we noticed it wasn't in the heart of the city centre. I would recommend as it's only around a 15 minute walk either way and felt safe enough. It is roughly half an hour walk from the city centre so I do recommend a bus or taxi to get there, we used Uber and found it helpful! About a 10 minute drive either way. The room was very spacious and great for the price! Very clean, very comfy beds. Lovely vegan croissants were prepared for us in the morning complimentary of our stay, and we had coffee each. The little shop downstairs is great too if you're in a pinch. Having a Dominoes next door is also useful as well as a restaurant. We will stay again if we are going to Project House

It was incredibly warm aswell, so much so, I had to turn the heating down. The bathroom was well equipped with lovely toiletries and a large shower area. The bed was comfy with a choice of pillows on the bed. I was worried I would hear the M1 traffic but it was surprisingly quiet. Breakfast was buffet style and "eat as much as you want". It was very tasty indeed and cooked to perfection. Its not much to look at from the outside to be honest, but inside, its really very nice. All the staff were lovely and friendly and I really enjoyed my stay.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom had only one large towel out even though it was booked as a double room. Apparently there’s another in a cupboard somewhere but bed, shower and breakfast are the key 3 things you want and one of those wasn’t ideal for the sake of putting out an extra towel. Room was very clean and bed comfy although building looks a little tired. Small bit of litter outside room door but easy to miss as it was a clear plastic cup. Breakfast excellent and great value for money. Good choice, not too busy. Staff attentive.

Amazing staff, all very friendly and helpful, from reception, restaurant and housekeeping. Room needed a deep clean, shower area very grubby, but really not so bad that it wasn't ok to use. Food in the restaurant a little overpriced but then they have to keep fully staffed for anyone that wants it even if not busy, so understand it has to be slightly inflated. Food quality was excellent. Reception advised to book breakfast night before to get discounted rate, quite a big saving 👍

A beautiful hotel in the heart of Leeds, within easy walking distance of many attractions. From booking to check-out, the service was exceptional — clear communication, seamless digital check-in via the app, and friendly, efficient staff on arrival. The lobby was spotless and inviting, and my room was exactly as shown in the photos: modern, stylish, and immaculately clean. Every detail was thoughtfully provided — kettle, mini fridge, iron, ironing board, and full-sized toiletries, which I appreciated for their quality and eco-consciousness. Despite being in the city centre, the room was wonderfully quiet, and the bed extremely comfortable. The generous 12 p.m. checkout time was another highlight, and the fact that you can check out directly from the app — even from the comfort of your bed — was simply amazing. Overall, an excellent stay in a beautifully managed hotel. I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to anyone visiting Leeds.

without asking for it I got a lovely room on 15th floor with a phenomenal view of the City's Central Railway Station District. My Windows faced east, this meant that at 5 to six I was fully awake just before sunset, then the Room was fully lit and this makes me an early bird, which normally at home a I am NOT the least... in this case it prove beneficial, since I needed to attend a tournament and play at 09:30, and by waking up such early I had plenty of time preparing, showering, having breakfast and have an additional Espresso at WOLFox's outside Wellington as well. Despite Marches & Parades going on this weekend, the room was perfectly quiet. at breakfast defo ask for fried eggs sunny side up, they are available, but not directly at the buffet, otherwise rich choice of Continental cold cuts like Chorizo, ham and Mackerel, really nice!

Travelled with my son and arrived around 7.30. Check in was interesting as it’s touch screen to get your door key but friendly help was available. The room was lovely, clean and my son loved the smarties! Thank you. Shower was good however I couldn’t work out how to change the temp.. was on the hotter side. Loved the espa shower gel, hand soap and shampoo… and the bed was the comfiest I’ve ever slept in! It was huge- hotel was quiet.. not sure £10 for a kids breakfast (he’s 7) is reasonable so not sure we’d have breakfast again (stayed at another chain where kids are free with a paying adult) Starbucks was great! We will definitely be back when visiting family in Yorkshire :-)

Warm welcome by the staff although I found the self check in machines a bit fussy. Room was spacious and clean and was well sound proofed as I heard no external noise or noise from other rooms. Tea and coffee making in the room also. We ate at the Grill restaurant and their was a decent choice of food at a reasonable price. There is also a starbucks on site It arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped, the pool was excellent and of a good size. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. As we stayed at the weekend the parking was free however I think it will be chargeable during the week, better checking befoer you arrive

I was very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and the variety and quality of the breakfast. Having a large set of option for fruits and cereals was a very nice surprise, and they were also delicious. Also having as access to the pool, saunas and a jacuzzi made a difference for me in chosing the hotel. What I would improve is the bathtub area, check that all is functioning and would be good to be a bit more modern.

Hotel was in a good location, close enough to the centre of Leeds but nice and quiet. Hotel was mixed in terms of condition. Lobby and bar were nice, rooms average - good size, nice beds but old bathrooms, but pool area needed some attention. Also a shame the jacuzzi was not working. Staff were also mixed, with some nice and some very strange and a mix of decent and poor customer service.

Stayed for 1 night while attending a race event in the city. Booked Bed & Breakfast but decided to have evening meal in the hotel restaurant as the menu looked appealing. Check in was an easy process, met with a very please receptionist (Annie) who sorted everything out for us, explained hotel facilities and directed us to our room. Our room was a superior which included access to the complimentary lounge where drinks and canapés are served early evening. There is complimentary WiFi throughout the hotel. The hotel has leisure facilities which are complimentary while staying, there is a gym along with a good sized pool with sauna & steam and jacuzzi. After reading the menu we de used to have evening meal in the hotel restaurant. Good choice available and the menu was well explained by our waiter (Sammy) who engaged well with us throughout. Food was served hot and courses spaced out to allow us to enjoy the experience. Breakfast the following day was buffet style and again good choice of hot and cold with plenty available. Staff on duty at breakfast were attentive in showing us to our table and explaining the buffet layout. Good Points - Modern clean well appointed hotel centrally located. Bad Points - only thing noted was plumbing a wee bit noisy at times (6th floor) Would I stay here again - Yes, would say first choice for any stay we have in Leeds from this initial experience.

Had a little problem with the shower which we reported. The only grumble was the all in dinner menu. More like pub grub. Pizza, fish & chips and burgers. Not what I expected when I booked. However, Marc the operations manager let us up grade to something else which proved to be very good. They did say that they are looking at changing this menu. The breakfast is cooked to order and beats the typical buffet one normally gets. The Staff were very friendly and I will make another post mentioning them by name. Overall this is a beautiful hotel and grounds. We high recommend it !

We stay here several times a year to visit family and local towns. The hotel feels like home and everything is tended to with professionalism. The breakfast is fantastic (the omelette is my favourite and great coffee!). Evening dinner served in our room was exceptional. We used the new WhatsApp option for all our room service and it was flawless. The room was fantastic and nicely decorated, with a very large comfortable bed, a cosy sofa lounge area, an ample sized bathroom with bath and separate shower, and a separate walk-in wardrobe and luggage space. We enjoyed a lovely wander around the glorious grounds this morning too! Perfect stay.

Our family booked the Garden Room to hold a family event for the afternoon. The food, drink and services were excellent and the room was decorated beautifully. Staff were very helpful throughout. Some members of the family also stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. The rooms were clean, fresh and had everything for a relaxing stay. Breakfast offers something for everyone. Evening dinner is a good option there too, and the bar is friendly and atmospheric. Looking forward to our next stay very soon!

Stayed here several times in the last 12 months and it's so easy to be a loved guest here, so much so that you want to stay for longer! The hotel is beautiful, surrounded by countryside and wildlife. Its close proximity to Leeds makes this a real hidden gem. The staff are professional and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food in the restaurant, the breakfast dining and room service is all excellent. There is a relaxing bar, quiet libraries and plenty of privacy in the unique well-kept rooms. A real joy to stay here!

This is our third visit in recent months so it feels like our second home! The hotel and staff are fantastic. The rooms are unique and clean, with all the trimmings to make your stay feel special. The breakfast has everything for everyone (cereals, pastries, toast, yoghurts, fruits, as well as a variety of cooked dishes like Eggs Benedict, Full English, omelette, etc). The afternoon/evening dining menu is very good too, and the bar is cosy and friendly. All the beds I have stayed in are very comfortable; mattresses, bedding and pillows are exceptional.

An absolute gem! Set in beautiful grounds this hotel is welcoming, caring and charming. When we arrived, the reception staff gave my two daughters a welcome goody bag which made them feel really cared for. The room was lovely, well equipped and spacious and the hotels' facilities were excellent. We loved the pool, the jacuzzi, the outdoor chess set and swing and enjoyed a glass of wine in the bar sat outside. We came to the hotel because we had an early flight from Leeds Bradford, however we will definitely come back for a few days at a time from now on! Love it and excellent value for money.

Me and my partner stayed there for a few nights with our dog and we had a good time. The staff are really friendly and welcoming! The food at the grill on the hill was great. We really enjoyed going to the pool and jacuzzi during our stay, it was very well kept. The only downside was that the bed wasn’t very comfortable.

We slept incredibly well and the staff were excellent. However, we booked an executive room for 2 nights & did not get any of the executive upgrades. This is the feedback we sent to the hotel on check-in evening but heard no response: Your website says that an executive room includes 1. Luxury bathroom with heated floor and steam free mirrors. There is no heated bathroom floor. We have an electric radiator with no instructions as to how to use it in the main room and no heating in the bathroom. No idea if the mirrors are steam free as not yet showered, but they don't look steam free. (edit: they weren't steam free) The bathroom isn't luxury. No luxury bathroom has a shower curtain. A luxury bathroom has a glass shower screen and door. 2. Luxury upgraded toiletry collection. We have a cheap small shower gel, shampoo and a tiny bar of soap. It's Travelodge standard at best and definitely not upgraded and definitely not anywhere near luxury. 3. Luxury towels and bathrobes. There's no bathrobes. My husband asked the night chap at reception and he laughed and said "first I've heard of it". 4. Mobile device docking stations. There are none. We don't need them, but you advertise them. 5. 32" flat screen TV and DVD player. There's no DVD player and the TV doesn't work. We were there for a funeral so weren't staying to use the hotel facilities, but it's a shame as the hotel is nice, with friendly, helpful and hardworking staff, but feedback was ignored.

We had a nice warm greeting. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we asked for extra milk & sugar. Room spacious, bed comfortable and me and my partner had a queen sized one. Quiet, peaceful bearing in the mind next to dual carriageway we never heard a thing n we both slept very well. Breakfast was top quality, very tasty could tell it was local produce however, when our breakfast was brought to our table we found it very small as in one rasher of bacon, one sausage, one hash brown. Lots of options available as in continental. Towels were a little hard and rough and air conditioning wasn’t working however it didn’t put us off. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again….

The spacious entrance lobby was immaculate and welcoming. Zoe welcomed us and was very efficient at checking us in. Nothing was too much trouble , we will definitely stay again when in the area. Even the fact there was an issue and the restaurant was closed , we had a takeaway and used the restaurant facilities, rather than eating in our rooms. The room was clean and the bathroom spotless , particularly loved the two heights of shower heads , I wish every hotel had these. We couldn't fault our stay. The continental breakfast was delicious and Yorkshire tea !!! Thank you Zoe and all for making our stay a pleasant one.

Only one night but a great stay. Staff were fabulous and very helpful and friendly. Ate in the restaurant and both dinner and breakfast were delicious and very good value. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel to anyone wanting either a night stopover or a longer stay. Room was extremely comfortable and spotless. The fact we could have our dogs with us both in the room and when we ate in the outer dining room was super. Easy to access and ample parking will definitely use again. Thank you.

This was our 3rd time of staying. We received a friendly greeting from the helpful check in staff who explained the car parking payment process. Our room was clean, comfortable and well-stocked with free tea/coffee, bottled water, toiletries, etc. We had a good night's sleep in the comfortable bed with extra pillows and, despite the proximity to the motorway, could hardly hear a thing. Breakfast was the usual selection of hot and cold staff and we were served by very friendly and helpful staff. There was a coach party staying overnight but the staff warned us on arrival and told us which breakfast time to avoid. This also meant that we couldn't eat there on arrival but the carvery at the pub next door was excellent.

I recently stayed at the Ibis Hotel Wakefield East and had a fantastic experience! The hotel was impressively clean, with spotless rooms and well-maintained common areas that made my stay very comfortable. It was also remarkably quiet, providing a peaceful environment perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The staff were a highlight—super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!

Everything was very clean, sufficient space for the luggage, comfortable bed and all needable amenities, specially hair dryer, large and quiet room, the staff was excellent - we pay for early check-in and they give us the room immediately even that we made the booking in the last minute also other perfect things was that we asked for the second set of towels and finded them when we go in, will recommend this place..calm, quiet, clean and with all the attention and help of the receptionist on duty (10 points specially for this marvelous lady!!.. unfortunately didn't remember her name), quiet neighbors.. The only one thing which we didn't like was the charge for the parking.. even that was 5£ for 24h, because thinking that the places of this category have to have minimum for car park for a half of their clients free... The staff were friendly and professional. The Receptionist even helped us with the new car park booking system. The room was large, clean and well equipped with ample tea and coffee, milk, bottles of water and toiletries, and the bed was very comfortable. Despite the heat, the room was cool and the sound of the traffic was just a distant hum. Breakfast offered a good range of hot and cold food and the serving staff were pleasant and attentive.

Breakfast was excellent. Cooked fresh on ordering. The waitress was brilliant. So friendly and helpful. Clean, modern room and a very comfy bed.

Great small hotel with free parking space. Room was clean with a large comfy bed, extra pillows and tea/ coffee and biscuits provided. Loved the tub of porridge that you could have to start off your day if you wanted. Bathroom had a bath with shower over it and was lovely and hot. Towels were large and soft. Bar area was comfy and clean with a decent choice of drinks. All round an excellent small quiet hotel and I would stay there again.

This hotel is full of contradictions: it really needs a little tlc to bring it up to excellence as it seems a little run down in places. However all members of staff, although quite young, were so friendly, welcoming and helpful, especially Millie. The bedroom would have been spacious except it had a full size fridge in it, an ironing board and luggage rest. The net curtain had come off the rail at one side. The bed was only a double rather than the king sized I would normally expect. The bathroom had a huge shower, modern loo and sink. The bedding and towels were excellent and the room was very clean. There was only one lift for six floors, which meant a long wait especially in the morning at breakfast and check out times. Breakfast was good in quality and quantity and the same young staff consistently restocked items and cleared tables . I got the impression that this was a busy Sunday morning with a high number of guests and yet they worked hard to ensure breakfast ran smoothly. The staff really made this stay enjoyable.

Short walk from the train station and was very easy to find. Good value for money. Great location in the city centre, not too far from the shops, bars and restaurants, surprisingly quiet given the location. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious. Our bed was extremely comfy. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The hotel offers extra complimentary items at no charge in case you have forgotten anything that was brilliant. There was a wide variety and good choice of breakfast food. Also, there were takeaway bags and cups provided if you needed to make up a breakfast and go. Would highly recommend staying here, and I would definitely stay here again.

I had a large room with fridge, iron, ironing board, hairdryer, kettle, tea, coffee etc. The bed was very comfortable with dual surface pillows - soft on one side and firm the other. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and the bar area was good for meeting up with colleagues at the beginning and end of the day. The hotel is located within yards of the town centre - very convenient for all the places we were visiting and there are a lot of restaurants within an easy walk.

Far better then i expected seen a few negative comments the only one i have is paying for parking limit spaces! We had an overnight stay on 11th March to meet up with friends. On arrival the bar area was informal, warm and welcoming. We stayed in a double room overlooking the front of the property. The room was inkeeping with the property with a lovely coay feel. The bed was comfy and we slept very well. The bathroom was lovely and clean with complimentary toiletries and fluffy white towels, although the shower may need an update even so it gave plenty of high pressure water and it was hot! Our friends had booked a table so we got to experience all the amenities the Black Horse had to offer. We were the only party dining, everyone else had cancelled due to the poor weather conditions. We had a beautiful meal with plenty of good wine, our waitress was lovely and nothing was a problem, especially as we had several bottles of rapidly evaporating wine!! After our meal we spent a couple of hours in the bar by the fire and not once did the landlord or his staff make us feel like they wanted us to leave. This morning we had a full english breakfast which was hot and delicious, another bonus for me was small chopped mushrooms rather than a portobello(theres something about a whole massive mushroom sitting on my plate that really puts me off). Its safe to say we had excellent company in our friends but I think the cosy atmosphere of the Black Horse on a cold winter night made it all the more special. We will definitely be staying again.

The room was in an old, converted row of cottages and was lovely, with heavy, rough-hewn beams and a T-fall ceiling. It was spotlessly clean and offered a superb en-suite bathroom with shower, a cafetiere with a pack off ground coffee as well as tea and hot chocolate; bathrobes, comfortable bed...I could go on. The dinner was excellent - not cheap, but we didn't feel that we'd been robbed! Breakfast was also excellent, freshly cooked to order with a good range of options. Oh, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, too. A very pleasant break, and worth a return visit.

No self service buffet bar. All cooked to order. Has an lovely looking outside area with lots of hanging baskets, but were unable to use as rained most of the time we were there. Well recommended for a long or short stay.

Had a great last minute stay here. Arrived early due to a mix up with another hotel and early arrival on train. Despite being well before the 4pm Check In time a very friendly lady greeted me and showed me to my room, which although was a little dated in decor and fixtures/ fittings etc was fine for what I needed for a short stay and was perfectly clean (which is all I really care about). The pub/restaurant opposite the courtyard cottages and part of the set up, is excellent. Fantastic service and food (real, proper fresh, homemade and hearty) and a nice atmosphere. Very friendly, welcoming, family run B&B. Highly Recommended and I will be back again soon.

This is a wonderful old inn, with several blocks of rooms - some across the road. The room I had was lovely in an olde world fashion. Only a couple of plugs but the wifi was strong. The bed was really comfy and the bathroom was modern and clean. The included breakfast was fantastic and the staff were so friendly. Will return i hope.

Arrived at hotel free parking. Check in was good, we were arriving after 8pm let hotel know, however reception is manned till 10pm & emergency mobile No if needed. We we shown to our room. Hotel room & all areas where clean, beds comfortable, enough storage in room and tea and coffee making items were good, and even some small bottles of water, which was a nice touch. Room was warm, but a fan was available ( could open window if you didn’t mind traffic noise from close proximity of motorway). Shower was powerful. Hotel details states breakfast was included, we thought this was a cooked breakfast. To be advised on arrival that it was continental breakfast only and if you wanted cooked there was an extra charge of £7.50pp each day, and you had to say the night before if you wanted a cooked breakfast. You also had to pick a time slot to say when you were coming down for breakfast, because hotel was full. We decided to just go for continental breakfast the first morning and there was plenty of choice, cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, yogurts and toast / jams. A selection of fruit juices, and tea and coffee. As you had to decide the night before for cooked option we didn’t try the cooked breakfasts but they did look nice. Staff were helpful when asking for advice on places to visit or best place to park etc they were knowledgeable about the area. Great location,we visited Wakefield Harrogate and York. Lovely stay would use this hotel again and recommend.

Lovely place. Staff are warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is great. Breakfast filling and tasty. To say M62 runs at the side it’s quite quiet. Rooms are comfortable and spacious and very clean. Simone was an absolute star and a credit to the place. Nothing was too much trouble and a real pleasure to talk to. I would highly recommend The Limes if you want a home from home hotel.

We had a very tasty full English breakfast comprising eggs, bacon, sausages and tomatoes. There was a pancake making machine but I didn't have the confidence to have a go; maybe next time. The reception staff were very helpful and efficient.

Great hotel, staff exceptional, nothing too much trouble. Stables bar very comfortable, bar staff very helpful and friendly. Good selection of beers. Didn't rate convive restaurant, doesn't hit the mark. Room was nice, but you can hear the passing traffic, could do with secondary glazing. Will definitely visit again. Breakfast very good, with a large choice.

Every member of the staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment we entered the reception area. The room was exactly as expected and was clean and very well presented throughout. There was a good selection available for breakfast and again the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our evening meals were taken at the Stables pub, the food was excellent and there was a good selection of quality beers on tap as well as a wide variety of other drinks. We were always served by Chloe who deserves a special mention as she was perfect in everything she did and made us feel right at home straight away. Overall we had an excellent stay and will certainly be returning. We could not fault a single thing or person at all, please keep up the great work you all do.

Lovely location and convenient for visiting Headingley Stadium.The man who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and we had a bed upgrade, from a single to a double which was lovely, although the view was not good (looking out the back, where staff go for their break). We did not have enough cups for the number of people in the room but this was rectified as soon as we let them know along with extra biscuits, which was nice. The food in the restaurant was ok but very expensive. The pub was pleasant with live music and the courtyard was lovely to sit in especially as the weather was hot. Breakfast was good, a wide range to choose from, although the food did run out quickly and there was a little wait for things to be refilled. The hot drinks were delivered to you and again there was a little wait for this. Check out was quick. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend booking this hotel.

We have used this hotel on a number of occasions and never been disappointed. Our room was clean, well maintained and welcoming. The bathroom was also well maintained and unlike many hotels had a shelf for personal items along with coat hooks behind the door. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices for all tastes and again well presented and regularly replenished. The staff were welcoming and efficient. Our only concern is that since our last visit more and more dogs have appeared and owners insist on encouraging them onto chairs in the carpeted reception area and with the best will in the world accidents do happen. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this venue which has the added facility of a regular bus service into central Leeds.

We had such a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Leeds — the perfect spot for a relaxing couples’ weekend. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. Our room was immaculate, stylishly decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent — we enjoyed total peace and quiet, even being in a central location. One of the real highlights was the stunning view over the canal — absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was another standout — a great variety of fresh, delicious options that set us up perfectly for the day. We also loved the Sky Lounge on the 13th floor — a stunning space with incredible panoramic views of the city, stylish décor, and a great cocktail selection. It was the perfect place to unwind in the evening. Would highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or a city break — we’ll definitely be back!

Pro’s - Very comfortable beds. - Hotel and rooms were very modern and clean. - Bathroom was pleasant and everything worked well - Staff were friendly and accommodating. - Location was ideal - minutes from the train station and very close to the Slam Dunk Shuttle Bus Pick - up point. - Fridge in the room was a huge bonus. - Decent selection of free Tea and Coffee. - There’s a rooftop bar with views over the city. Cons - The bedroom we had was very compact for 2 people. Although there are upgrades available, these appear to be for double bed options only. If you’re looking for a twin room, you have to stay in a standard room which a little on the cosy side. Stayed here for Slam Dunk Festival and despite the compact room size, you couldn’t ask for a better hotel. Being on top of the train station is a huge bonus and it’s about a 5 minute walk to the shuttle bus pick up point. It’s a shame that they don’t have twin room options in larger rooms, as I’d happily pay a little extra to upgrade, but other than that it’s a solid choice and if theres only one of you per room, then that wont be a problem. Would I stay here again - absolutely. Despite the compact room size, everything else was spot on and it’s a genuinely pleasant hotel.

Stayed here for a few days whilst dealing with a family matter. An excellent hotel a stones throw from the railway station but in a lovely location on the wharf down by the canal with options for food and drinking outside of the hotel without needing to venture far. Despite the location, the room was very quiet. Standard room was good for just myself, although the lack of an actual desk made working not optimal. WiFi easy and excellent throughout. Hotel very clean, service great, restaurant good, breakfast options okay, there was a separate menu to have orders if you didn't just want the buffet. Best bit was the lounge bar up on the top floor with a long balcony overlooking part of the city. I arrived by train so easy but for anyone with a car, parking options are very limited and expensive. The hotel is a just a few minutes walk from the city centre. Overall, a great choice especially if you are needing to be close to the city.

Excellent Hotel in a stunning location overlooking the start of the Leeds Liverpool Canal and so close to the city centre which was just a few minutes walk. Handy for Leeds Railway Station too which was also only a matter of minutes walk. The room was spotless and the bed comfy, we had a king room with shower and a view of the canal and Granary Wharf. Also had air conditioning and the room was soundproofed. A small fridge with complementary bottled water, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and good quality toiletries were all supplied. Breakfast was included in our booking and was served until 10.a.m. There was a huge selection of hot and cold food and an option of having hot food cooked to order from an additional menu. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made us feel so welcome. If you are visiting Leeds it is an excellent place to stay and I can definitely recommend it.

The bedrooms were absolutely gorgeous, spacious, and very clean and amazing bathrooms. They have the best bathtub - seriously better than mine back home in America! I’ve traveled all over the world and this was just so welcoming. I love the fact that the property is easy to access (just read the instructions carefully), love the elevator availability. I loved how accessible it is to transportation - also very central in Leeds! Great kitchen. Love the washer and dryer. I cannot rave about this property enough!

The Kspace property is very nice and clean. I like how quiet and peaceful the neighborhood is. The location was perfect for my convenient shopping, Dining, Pubs, Clubs, Transportation etc.However inside the apartment the sofa was very old and the closet draws were broken in both rooms, also my entrance door couldn't close properly. But the owner was nice when l communicated with her.

The apartment was beautiful, very clean, tidy and the bed was so comfortable! The communication was outstanding, I arrived late after a long drive yet that wasn’t a problem, the hosts were so understanding and very helpful! Check in was so easy and instructions and pics were great! The secure underground parking was great under the building, as I was alone it made me feel very safe. We were allocated room 435. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. A lot of people in reviews complaining hotel doesn’t have AC? I can confirm it doesn’t, but I left a simple note in my booking to ask if the heating could be turned off in my room for my arrival as I like my room cold. This was met, and my room was a perfect temperature throughout the night, a fan is also in the room if needed. The bathroom was clean and shower was great. Breakfast in the morning had plenty of choices and was plenty of staff available if needed. All in all, yes this is an older hotel. But it is still clean, and has all the amenities to have a fantastic and comfortable stay. We will be back!

Such a convenient position , 2/3 minutes walk to the station , 5 minutes walk to the main square and next to multi storey car park which is £1.50 for 24 hours !. Very friendly check in staff , We had a large room with a very modern shower room , plenty of hot water and towels , comfy bed and additional sofa bed. good sized desk with tea/coffee facilities . The heating was very efficient. The room was very clean but very tired with worn carpet and chipped furniture. Super fast lifts . Great location near to Bradford Interchange and the city centre. Nice clean modern look as you enter the reception area with a very large airy dining space with air con! Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. The room was clean and fresh with modern furnishings and a lovely bathroom. Love this hotel. This was our 2nd visit. We stay here when going to the theatre. The 24 hour bar is fab for relaxing after the show. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful. Car park is easy accessible and £1.50 per day. Will definitely be back .

Lovely looking hotel, spacious and welcoming. The room was a nice size and lovely and clean. The facilities were spacious with nice extras such as glasses in the bathroom and complimentary toiletries. There was also a mini fridge with water, coke and kitkats, which was a nice touch. Most importantly the bed was large and comfy and the view at night across Leeds was amazing. We had a lovely stay.

I am a returning customer, I like tge use of the gym and sauna and swim, but it should include steam jacuzzi too. I pay enough charges to have this included too.

Great location for me having been out in Leeds city centre but didn’t want to stay centre. The hotel was an easy 20 ish minute drive out of town. Plenty of on site parking. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Tea / coffee/ hairdryer/ iron and ironing board all provided. En suite bathroom clean and functional. The spa was gorgeous, small pool with sauna and then e tea area with jacuzzi / sauna. Steam and ice fountain . Lots of loungers. All staff from receptionists to cleaners were very friendly and helpful.

Worth mentioning that i was mid week and i don't think there were many guests at this time - great for me. Meals were lovely, dinner was reasonable, tasty and good portions. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly and service quick. Every member of staff were so friendly. Room was large, clean and very comfortable with no noise at night. The spa is the crowning glory. For £30 I upgraded to the spa experience and it was totally worth it, I went at 3pm and almost felt like I had the place to myself, although I would imagine it's usually much busier. Plenty of free parking. For commuters, if you can get a room here, do it and I think it would also be lovely for a couples get away. As a single traveler who just needed a getaway and recharge, this hotel stay left me feeling great.

Bradford Digs is very different from staying in a typical Guest House. It is more like staying in somebody's home. Irene is exceptionally friendly, helpful and interactive with guests. It offers good value. On street parking in easy. Decor is something else, an esoteric ethnic taste, and the polar opposite to a bland hotel from a chain. It is a small back to back terraced house, where Irene lives. However I believe if you book on Booking.com you will get a room in the house in front which Irene now owns and I did not view this accommodation. Good choice if you find being alone in hotels is unpleasant.

I really liked the fact this lady opened her home. It’s nothing like a hotel or even a B&B it genuinely feels like you’re staying at a close family home with friends. She has a lonely dog,nice garden and even offered for me to have dinner with her. Her bedroom was very quiet and cosy so I had a great nights sleep.
