The room was spacious and bed very comfortable. The bath shower could have done with an anti-slip mat for added safety. The free toiletries were good quality and vegan friendly. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room but I suppose that gives you the option of not partaking without guilt. Staff were all friendly and professional. Full Irish breakfast would definitely set you up for the day. Dinner had plenty of variety with two vegetarian options and again very friendly staff.

The front desk staff were excellent - very welcoming and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were very good - the waiter (breakfast) and waitress (dinner) were very attentive and good. Our room was large and clean. This was a great spot to stay.

On arrival, we were gretted by a lovely, friendly receptionist who gave us a good first impression of the hotel. The bar staff were also friendly and welcoming. Lots of different screens in sports bar which was great. The breakfast room was well-appointed and provided ample seating. The staff demonstrated attentive service, with many team members available to take orders. A quality breakfast was served in a pleasant environment.

I stayed at Kettles Hotel last weekend and really enjoyed my time there. The hotel was cosy, clean, and very comfortable. All the staff were extremely friendly and professional, making me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The food, drinks, and breakfast were all excellent — great quality and full of flavour. It was a very pleasant and relaxing experience overall. I would highly recommend Kettles Hotel and will definitely return.

The spa was pure luxury. The rooftop hottub is the perfect place to relax. I really enjoyed lounging in the foyer too, beautiful and bright.

Wonderful hotel. The thermal suites are not to be missed. Staff was lovely. Great breakfast Buffet. Pool was really nice and big with a good jacuzzi.

The staff were all so lovely and so helpful from the minute we walked in. The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside and out. The food and drinks were delicious. We had such a relaxing time in this hotel and had fun in the sun in the outdoor jacuzzi. Couldn’t have spent my birthday in a better location!

We had a lovely stay here at Lakeside Manor. We were staying the night before we went to a wedding nearby. Our room was lovely with a balcony and a beautiful view of the lake. It was extremely clean with a very big comfortable bed, powerful shower in the ensuite and beautiful smelling toiletries. There was an iron and a hair dryer which I was very glad of. The room was very well supplied with sockets in all the places we needed. We had food in the bar area in the evening and that was very tasty, typical bar food. And the breakfast in the morning again was perfect, served to us by friendly helpful staff. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough. It way exceeded our expectations, which was such a bonus. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lakeside Manor Hotel. The view over Lake Ramor is absolutely stunning, and the location is perfect — just a short distance from Virginia town. The food in the restaurant was excellent, with a great variety for dinner and beautiful, generous portions. Breakfast was equally lovely, with plenty of choice, which is especially nice if you’re staying for a few days. Our room was very spacious, and the bathroom was spotless and modern. A special thank you to Patricia and Sammy, who were extremely friendly and welcoming — they really made our stay feel special. Overall, a fantastic experience — highly recommend!

All good. The room was very nice. There are coffee and tea as well as well water. There is a jacuzzi, too. Also, available are wardrobes and sleepers. The owner is very nice, he prepared breakfast for us and we had a nice chat. The views from the house are wonderful. Very nice place. Recommended.

The beds and the jacuzzi were very comfortable. And the landlord very friendly.

Very comfortable room with on-suite. Especially enjoyed the jacuzzi bath with complementary bath bombs. Also the host was lovely to chat to and able to give us good tips about where to eat, visit etc. Thank you Mark!

Suite was beautiful - decor was very tasteful and gave a very luxurious feel. Room was really big with lots of space. Jacuzzi bath was delightful! Evening meal was exceptional - quality of food and flavours were superb! Cocktails and food and beverage staff were really nice!

They went above and beyond. When the spa was closed (arrived late) and the bath was faulty, they moved me to a big suite with jacuzzi unit so i was able to fulfil the health cleanse I am working through.

Bar food and breakfast were delicious. Bed very comfy, nice, bright room with a balcony. The room was spacious. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Spa was amazing, the staff were so nice, I had a fabulous facial and wash and blow dry. Definitely recommend the spa

The home is within walking distance to a restaurant and pub and in a charming, scenic area. The owners did a fantastic job restoring the home with beautiful features and modern amenities. Our room was lovely all around: the bed was incredibly comfy (we slept great) and the bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was delicious as well. The family is very friendly and the hostess was kind and accommodating. The dog is a good girl and loves pets.

The chalet was absolutely pristine with two very comfortable fold out beds. The shower was amazing, very strong and hot. The location was great for walking on the greenway. Free wifi. The owners were very welcoming, and friendly, and allowed us an early check in. The view was lovely, with animals in the field beside us.

I wanted a quaint quiet night away and this was pure bliss 😊 , from the amazing view of the country side , to the details of the room which was spacious, super warm , and a bath to soak in , it was a little slice of heaven for me , also close to center parks if your looking to head to the spa for the day and then a cosy night stay after by yourself or maybe with friends or partner. The bed was super comfortable and I had the best nights sleep I've had in a long time . Susan was so pleasant to deal with and would definitely recommend anyone that's thinking of staying.

This is such a beautifully restored, spacious and very cosy house and a pleasure to stay in. It’s located right on the royal canal greenway and beside a great pub with excellent food. The owners are really lovely and very welcoming, and the homemade breakfast is delicious and freshly made. The room we stayed in was just gorgeous and had a huge bathroom with a claw foot bath - perfect after a long walk on the greenway! We can’t wait to go back!

We stayed in the cove with a private jacuzzi.We stayed on a Sunday night so pretty much had the sauna to ourselves as we encountered no one else. Tennis courts were also great fun!

The person at the reception, was very helpful, very professional, very kind. The jacuzzi and all the facilities was over expectations. Cleaning overall very good and everything to high standards. Very nice carpark and a good coffeeshop as well. This was my 2nd time there and I will come again for sure.

Really lovely pods. Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Little kitchenette if you need to heat anything up or have a tea or coffee, but location is close to Arklow town, so you're only 5 minutes away from restaurants or take aways. The cafe on site is perfect for breakfast in the morning. Honestly couldn't fault anything about the place. It was lovely and quiet, and the bed was super comfortable. The view from the deck was lovely as well.

Very nice little find! Great spot for family, especially with little ones. About 15 mins from Kilkenny city by car. Property had anything we needed, little things like salt/pepper/mayo etc. Didn't get around to using the hottub/sauna/bar but they looked good!

the location it was so beautiful and peaceful the cottage was really cosy and comfortable for my family and the kids loved it as there was open space to play hurling/soccer a play area for smaller kids a pool table and we all loved the jacuzzi with sauna and there was a bar also with a lounge area to chill in the evening..the owner Mike was very obliging and friendly and had the fridge stocked with a few bits on arrival ..would definitely recommend it for a relaxing and peaceful wkend 👌

All the extra touches! An indoor jacuzzi with mountain views, beautiful grounds, the amenities were perfect from billiards to a bar, well beyond what you’d expect from a stay at farm cottages! We had children ranging from 5-11 and my mother who is 86, we all loved our stay. Just down the road from Kilkenny city, so much to do and see. Thanks Mike, we’ve told all our family and friends !!

The property was absolutely amazing, spotless clean, very cosy little place to stay. It was just what we needed a nice quiet relaxing place. We stayed in the cottage and the decor was amazing, was great their was a hot tub to use also. There was freshly made wheaten bread along with fresh eggs also. There’s 2 friendly goats that also come and visit you which is very nice. I wish I had booked more nights.. Would highly recommend.

What an amazing place , so clean and comfortable, the bar is brilliant. Such an amazing place for relaxing but also good craic, the hot tubs are a definite plus. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We will be back and will be recommending to family and friends.

Everything i felt like i was on a ranch in American Pauline was so friendly! I mistakely the day of my booking seen that i had book for july 2024! i ranf Pauline in a frantic not wanting to let my little boy down and luckily there was the SAME cabin i had booked free. in as little as and hour and half notice Pauline had the apartment looking as if nobody has been there amazing. And the bunk bed! flip me the top one is so so high i am terrified of hheights but my.little boy egged my on to go on the top bunk ans im glad a did.. a big comfy double bed wity sky light and that was just the bed never mind every thing else fresh wheaten Honesty bar with Alcohol we had a beer and a coke my son got to be bar tender he thought this was great hes 11 lol sorry for the long story it just truely was special. there was bunnies and chickens dogs on the land gorgeous horses. Amazing serinity thank you 💕

Peaceful relaxing beautiful surroundings We had a great stay here, it was so peaceful, we stayed in the converted horse trailer (sorry forgot the name) it was small and compact with everything we needed, but big enough for the 2 of us! Such a lovely touch leaving fresh homemade bread, eggs & milk.... The place is brilliant for kids aswel, so much for them to do, all the lil farm animals & horses, and dogs, bikes, a play area etc !! They also have a honesty bar, you can help yourself and leave a few bob to cover costs of drinks, we didn't use it as we were out most of the time, they have 2 large hot tubs, again we didn't use but looked lovely, the area all round it is just gorgeous to sit and chill, they have BBQ areas, and also a bbq outside of where we stayed. Everything was spotless, I would 100% stay here again... Loved watching the horse train!! Thanks again Elaine & Keith 5stars...

I liked the cosy and tasteful décor and pretty surroundings of the area. Plenty of hot water, comfortable living room with large flat screen for watching shows and movies. Very thoughtful consumables left for guests like the fresh eggs, milk and tasty wheaten bread. Hot tub was clean and at a perfect temperature. Would like to come back with a larger group of friends who would enjoy it as much as we did.

Our stay at The Palm Hotel in Bray was a wonderful experience! We stayed in a cozy room with a bathtub and a stunning sea view, which was the perfect setup for a relaxing getaway. The room itself was modern, clean, and felt incredibly inviting. Waking up to the view of the ocean in morning was truly a highlight. The hotel has a lively bar on the ground floor where you can enjoy food and drinks without needing to leave the property, which was really convenient. It has a nice ambiance and is a great spot to wind down after exploring the town. Overall, The Palm’s location is unbeatable. It’s right by the seafront, close to the Dart station, and within walking distance of great restaurants, a bowling alley, and Bray’s town center. If you’re looking to stay somewhere vibrant and scenic, I’d definitely recommend The Palm Hotel in Bray.

We had the private hot tub on the balcony with a sea view - it was great - but actually a bit too hot to sit in for long. The decor was great, the room had a fridge, coffee machine and a big kettle, and dog friendly (for a fee). Bed big and comfy, elegant old-fashioned sea front and this building part of that with a great facelift Cosy and warm in the room, lovely to have the balcony Staff friendly and welcoming We stayed on a Monday so no noise issues, the town was pretty sleepy and very friendly

the room was amazing, very spacious bright and clean. the bathtub facing the window and with a sea view is worth a comeback. The staff was very friendly and helpful, downstairs their restaurant and bar was stylish and full of life, must try their Palm Brew beer!

Room 2 is precisely per the photos. Large copper bath, a large double shower room, very large bedroom & incredibly comfy bed. All sockets you could wish for. Bedside light. Bins. Toiletries. Wonderful views. Big Smeg Fridge. Water etc etc. Didn’t want for anything. Welcome was amazing. Staff wonderful. The bar is incredible. All very clean. Food in bar (fish & chips and a wonderful salad) was superb. Yes noise from bar outside is there but not bad for a Wednesday evening & we slept very well. No works going on.

An amazing little home from home escape. We spent three nights here and didn't want to leave! Gary, even though we didn't get to meet him in person, was a super host. He had the hut sparkling and ready for us at 3pm. It really was spotless, couldn't fault it at all. Lovely touch with everything you'd want for a continental breakfast each morning. There was even Tayto crisps which was a real treat. Such an Irish thing, I love it :) We were looking for somewhere quiet where we could just switch off and chill. We were able to do just that. There's a lovely little seating area at the front of the hut where we sat and read a book with a glass of wine and watched the beautiful cow's potter around the field. A real slice of heaven with lots to do and see not far from where we were. Can't wait to come back here again.

Everything! Hut was immaculately clean, arrived to find juice, milk, bread, butter and jams. Very easy to find & parking is accessible, along with feeling very private and secure Bed was very comfortable and even staying this time of year (Mid February) the place was warm the whole stay WiFi was consistent we used it to watch a movie on Netflix that was uninterrupted Shower was hot and pressure was there

Absolutely beautiful green surroundings, with a view of the forest in the distance and a view of the lake on the other side. Beautiful, very cozy and very clean space. There was everything you need for a short break. I would highly recommend.

The hut itself is lovely, clean, and comfy. it’s very private, in a beautiful location. the private hot tub was spotless, and a real treat. Gary and Margaret are both really lovely and welcoming, and are available if you need anything.

The word luxury is a perfect description for these suites! Everything was wonderful from start to finish. The garden is beautiful equipped with garden furniture and sun beds and the atmosphere is so peaceful. We didn’t have a car but that was fine as taxis are readily available and it’s a short journey to Kildare Village/town. There is a shared kitchen on the property but the room also had its own fridge/freezer, microwave and cutlery which is super convenient. The room was spotless and modern with lovely ambiance and the best was so comfortable! Would definitely recommend and hope to return myself someday :)

We were pleasantly surprised — there was complimentary coffee, water, and fruit waiting for us. The kitchen was well equipped with essentials like oil, salt, etc., even though we didn’t use it. There was a nice garden area with a seating space and a barbecue, perfect for relaxing. We were 4 people in total, and the sofa bed was comfortable enough for 2 adults. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!

The suite was spotless. It was a lovely quiet location and very easy to get to. The views were stunning. Good coffee too. The room was stunning. So comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped with everything. Outside garden was a relaxed area with plenty of seating. Monica has taught of everything and keeps the place in a high standard. We had a wonderful stay. Will most definitely be coming back.

The owners and locals were very welcoming. We popped into the pub for a drink and stayed on for several hours. They were loads of fun. The warm jacuzzi was a real treat.

Matt was a superb host. Very friendly and accommodating. Everything we needed was here. Went into town to The Railway House for food - great and recommended by Matt. Loved the Jacuzzi. Netflix was bonus for the kids.

Warm, welcoming 😁 and friendly host. Matty has a wonderfully modest hidden gem 💎 Smiled the whole drive from Dublin to Carlow. Then to Royal Oaks..... Apartment was unreal, could've done any better, warm, clean, cozy and very quiet. Facilities are really great. TV has all the apps available so my son was on cloud 9. Hot tub was another high 5 as was Matty's Pub.... So cute with friendly customers. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely loved the our accommodation, the quirkiness, felt like a home away from home had everything you needed. Comfy beds and plenty of room. Being dog friendly and closed off area so you could sit back and watch our dog run around and have fun was amazing. It’s peaceful and the views are beautiful. We sadly didn’t use the hot tub this time but next time we will. The wood pellet stove is a lovely touch to the space. Lightening outside at night is lovely. Even all the little touch’s around the grounds birdfeeders and minions are so lovely.

Beautiful location. The Lakeview Apartment was perfect for our family of 5, spotless clean, spacious, pretty and had everything we needed. The kids had great fun while we relaxed and enjoyed the view.

The view was stunning, and very relaxing. Adrian was very nice and helped us find a place for fishing. We also loved the fresh farm eggs for breakfast we even bought some on our way home! Thank you very much for everything it was amazing. ❤️ 😊 🙏

This was fabulous spot for a girlie break away. We stayed in the stage coach which was so pretty. It had everything we needed and ws toasty warm. Therefore 4 of us and there was plenty of space. The beds were surprisingly very comfortable. Outside we had our own space. There was an area that was covered so we could sit outside. The gas heater ensured we were warm. The most amazing part was the outdoor wood burner hot tub. This made our night. We spent 2.5 hours in this. Considering it was middle of October and weather was cold, we were super warm in the hot tub. Also the scenery was fab and nice and quiet I would definitely go back again. It was perfect for a girlie catch up. It would also be suitable for a family with 3 kids.

Our host, Nicky, was very welcoming....a lovely lady. Everywhere was spotless, and breakfast was delicious. The history of the house and its connection with Charlotte Bronte was extremely interesting and added a special touch to our stay there. It took only five or six minutes to walk to the nearest pub/restaurant (Flynn's), where we enjoyed a delicious meal. We were delighted to have found 'Charlotte's Way' and would highly recommend it to other travellers. Very good value for money too!

Well maintained room, despite the old style we still have all the expectations met: bathroom was great and the room had all the comfort. Great beds. Beautiful furniture and chandeliers. Carpet everywhere in perfect sand clean condition.. kids were big fun of the 2 dogs, they were calm and ready to be with them.

Absolutely the best place I’ve stayed in Kilkenny. The suites are very comfortable, everything is new, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with lots of thoughtful touches. We were a group of five and booked two rooms — they can be connected, which was super convenient for us. The location is perfect — right in the center and close to everything. Kerri is a wonderful host — friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We’ll definitely stay here again next time we visit. 100% recommended. Thank you for an amazing experience!

The photos and description do not do justice to the quality of this apartment [Ormonde Suite]. Everything is included and though its located right in the City Centre it is as quiet at night as a country lane. The standout feature is probably the private rooftop hot tub, from where you can enjoy observing a cross section of the City, looking out over the river and blending the modern and the ancient in a unique panoramic view. Perfect way to start the morning, or unwind after a busy day visiting the many unique shops, cafes, restaurants, bars and visitor attractions.

When we stay at a property my husband and I have 3 requirements:a quiet location, comfortable bed, and a clean place. This property was a 10 out of 10 on all 3!!! Plus the apartment has a stunning view from the balcony that was enjoyed every evening from the hot tub! The apartment is very modern and stylishly decorated and exceptionally clean! We most definitely would stay here again and HIGHLY recommend to others. Excellent location in the middle of Kilkenny with easy walking to shops, sights, and train station.

The Location at the Park was perfect , Excellent value of money , Deposit refunded back in full , secure parking space , locker at the door , loved the king size bed were very comfortable, Speedy Fast WiFi , the room was so clean and had everything I needed it, the host she was so helpful with directions to bar ,and restaurants, close to Marley's park ,not far from the city , the bus stop just 4 minutes walking distance, and the Luas just 10 minutes walk, very quite space for work , lovely kitchenette area which you can cock your meal , or request a meal, lovely surroundings for walking with green and mountain view. We stayed here on our last night of a road trip around Ireland, and it was the perfect finale. Comfortable, spacious & spotless. The view out the window was magical. Our host was extremely welcoming and helpful in terms of restaurant recommendations and directions to the airport. Parking was no problem. A very peaceful place to stay before heading to the airport. We even took a nice walk down to the little river nearby.

This B&B was so very comfortable and the hostess was amazing. We did not expect breakfast, but she had a hand-curated continental breakfast in the pantry of every room - perfect for early morning flights/travelers. Unfortunately, I don't eat early in the morning, but the bites looked scrumptious. My only regret is not staying longer! In the future, I will definitely stay here when travels take me to Dublin. It's the perfect place to regroup before starting a trip or to stay before a flight. There are walking trails from the B&B to a park and shops and a restaurant. Parking was private and convenient and the location was quiet!

Rose Cottage is the perfect place to stay when needing to be by the airport. It's an easy drive to the airport. It is also a great location to the town of Swords where there are lots of restaurants and shops. We were greeted by Dominique on arrival, she is very friendly and she gave us lots of useful information. The room is beautifully decorated, and it had everything we needed. The bed is extremely comfortable! The shower is great. The supplied snacks and cereals for an early breakfast were really appreciated! Our room had a view out to trees and this was very relaxing. We had a very comfortable stay, thank you!

Host was kind and welcoming. Room was comfortable, lovely view of the nearby park. Newly renovated bathroom. Fantastic spread of breakfast goodies, tea, coffee, juices, fruit, yogurt, etc. we walked to a fun pub for dinner, but most would need to drive to restaurants. Airport was just a 12 minute drive. So much cozier than soul-less airport hotel. Highly recommended.

Mary was so welcoming. The room was spacious, bright and clean. I have to say it was so comfortable and a home away from home. Lots of extra touches for a lovely stay. Bottles of water, tea and coffee in your room, luxurious soaps and shampoos etc there were extra towels and Mary was so helpful and advised us on the area. Breakfast was amazing and there was a huge choice. You would not go hungry after the breakfast there. There’s lots of info for what to do in the area and places to eat. The area where it is located is beautiful and quiet. There are gorgeous gardens and each room has a private entry area which is lovely. I highly recommend here as a hidden treasure for stays in Dublin.

The hosts, Mary and Jimmy were welcoming and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was delicious—they have pastries, fruit, cereal, and muffins, plus you can select your hot breakfast from about a dozen options, e.g., full Irish breakfast, French toast, eggs. The room was a nice size, and we loved looking out back to the broccoli field. They offered suggestions of things to do and drove us to the main street in Swords after breakfast each morning. Know that the property is located 4km from town and the only way to get there is by car. We found plenty to do and took cabs but they do add up. There is a bus from Swords to Malahide (which has the best castle and gardens I’ve ever seen and a super cute fairy garden) and Howth (fishing village with pubs and excellent fish and chips). We took a cab to a very fun amusement park that has a zoo in it and a little circus. We didn’t run out of things to do! It’s a lovely place to stay away from the city, a peaceful retreat.

Everything was perfect. A beautiful location, quiet rooms, comfortable bed, and an exceptional breakfast. Jimmy and Mary are the perfect hosts. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay. thank you for the packed breakfast to take to the airport, and the taxi! We hope to be back again to stay longer.

Mary and Jimmy were the loveliest of hosts - we arrived fairly late, but Jimmy still spent time welcoming us, as well as giving us some recommendations on pubs and food nearby. There was a leaflet with some recommendations for pubs and food nearby. The shower was nice and hot, and shampoo and shower gel was provided. The beds were nice a comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The breakfast included an assortment of some cereals, yoghurt, fruit and some pastries, as well as some hot food which we had picked the night before. It was a short drive to the airport, so it was super convenient location wise, and the location was stunning - writing this a month after the stay and I'm still able to recall our pleasant experience. :)

Only an overnight stay, unfortunately. Our flight was delayed, then an issue with our hire car saw us arriving much later than expected. A 15 minute easy drive from the airport. Instructions sent were very clear & easy to follow. Our cosy room awaited after 30 hours in transit. A hot shower & into a very comfy bed. The room was a tiny bit warm for us, but we were able to open one of the upper windows to allow some air flow. Breakfast was really good. Lovely freshly made fruit salad, yoghurt, cereal etc. Followed by freshly cooked eggs, bacon & tomato - or whatever you wanted. Hot plunger coffee. Juice. Really appreciated the plentiful fresh food. Mary & Jimmy were charming & very welcoming. A truly great first night in Ireland.

Daphne was an incredible host, and the whole place was beautiful and welcoming from the start. She had another room open up before I arrived and offered me the switch at no extra charge. After much deliberation (her patience with me was astounding, as I was tired and struggling with even this simple decision, Lol) I decided to keep my original room and couldn't have been happier in it. You can select your hot breakfast from a menu of amazing-looking options and mine was delicious each morning. My room was clean, tidy and was the perfect space for myself, with an incredibly comfy armchair, fantastic bed and skylight. There is a stunning garden out back that offers incredible views of the Wicklow countryside and there is a Centra within a short walk down the road that has anything you'd need. Rathdrum is a lovely town and is lucky to have Stirabout Lane to accommodate guests. I know I was lucky to find it. :)

Welcoming, pleasant and cosy B&B in the centre of Rathdrum close to Jacob's Well pub & Bate's restaurant which are both good for food. Very clean with comfortable bed & good shower & a sitting room for guests use with log fire. Daphne was very knowledgeable about the local area & beyond & ensured I had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious, great choices with lovely crockery & tableware. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, thank you. Christmas trimmings were beautiful too 🎄

From the moment you step in you can feel this homely atmosphere, with very friendly host's and detailed decoration around the entire house. Our room was very spacious, quiet, beds were comfortable, amazing breakfast...there is a nice, cozy sitting room and a beautiful garden behind where you can have a walk or enjoy just sitting in perfect silence.

If I were to try to write down all the lovely things about this property and my stay here, I’d surely run entirely out of room. The bed and bedding was some of the most luxurious and comfortable accommodations I’ve had over my entire trip (and I’ve been in Ireland, all over, for almost a month). The breakfast was delicious, filling, and picture perfect. My toast even SAID ‘good morning’! Daphne’s garden is the best place to spend a sunny afternoon reading. And they light a gorgeous fire in the lounge in the evening. I, honestly, wish I had booked there for much longer than I had. The town is quiet and quaint but SO conveniently located to the train station that it makes for a PERFECT base camp for exploring all of the county Wicklow seaside towns - from Arklow up to Bray. There is also a Centra literally across the street from the BnB so anything you need is within immediate reach and it is just a short walk (or even shorter drive) to the incredible Beyond the Trees at Avondale.

From start to finish this B&B was top notch. Daphne's son showed me to my room. What a gorgeous young gentleman. Everything was incredible. I felt totally safe as a solo traveller. Daphne was extremely accommodating. The decor is amazing. The room temperature perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The whole house is spotless and the delicious breakfast set me up for the day. I would highly recommend it and I will be back.

Our stay at the Merrion Hotel on 2nd October was an amazing experience. From the luxurious bedroom overlooking the garden, and with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, to the exquisite dining experiences in the Garden Restaurant where we ate the most wonderful dinner in the evening and a wholesome breakfast the following morning. It was wonderful to see that most if not all of the food and drink options available were fresh, organic and Irish sourced. The best part of the experience was the wonderful staff. No matter where we encountered a staff member, each and every one of them was friendly, chatty, courteous and helpful, asking if we were ok or if we were in need of any assistance. They couldn’t do enough for us. I wish I could remember all of the names of those we met - from the reception staff, housekeeping, catering and the Consierge desk (David, Tommy And Patrick to name a few). All demonstrated the ideal traits for providing excellent customer service. I particularly want to mention Adil, the lovely manager of the restaurant, who, along with his staff, was so welcoming and attentive, essentially personalising the experience and making it so memorable for us. Thank you to all and to the Merrion Hotel for an unforgettable experience ❤️

Arrived on November 4th from the US. Were met on the steps by Robert who immediately greeted us and attended to our luggage. Into check in-reception which was timely and professional. Up to our room on the 3rd floor that was clean, very spacious and very well appointed. We stayed for two nights before renting a car and proceeding on a road trip to the west coast. Arrived back on the 13th for one last night before heading back to the States. The location is superb, the Merrion Square neighborhood is beautiful and within walking distance of many of Dublin's high points. I cannot say enough about the staff. Every single person we encountered, bellmen, front desk staff, concierge, restaurant, house keeping, every single person was a joy, very attentive and professional. The in house restaurant has a delicious breakfast which we enjoyed every morning, next door is a 2 Star Michelin which we did not try as we preferred to his local pubs and other establishments. As for accommodations, large and clean rooms, beds VERY comfortable (according to our standards) Again I would wholeheartedly recomend his property if you want a top tier 5 Star experience.

Everything was just great! I celebrated my birthday here with friends, and we were blown away by the experience. Both restaurants were absolutely incredible — the two Michelin-starred Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud offers a fine dining experience like no other, while The Garden Room was perfect for a more relaxed yet still exceptional meal. The atmosphere, service, and attention to detail made this stay truly memorable. The hotel's facilities were also fantastic. We enjoyed relaxing in the cozy Drawing Rooms with their open log fires and treated ourselves to some amazing cocktails at No 23. The Merrion Spa and Health Club was a peaceful oasis where we made the most of the pool and sauna. I highly recommend this hotel for a special occasion or just a luxurious getaway. I will definitely return if I’m back in Dublin

One of the nicer hotels we stayed at. The doorman and porters were very helpful with our luggage (make sure you have smaller funds, for example; 5 or 10 Euros for tipping), and delivered it to our rooms. We went with other family members, and checked in at the same time. That just led to confusion, and our rooms were mixed up. My advice, check in individually if traveling with other family groups. This will save you from getting billed for the other room's charges. Overall, the restaurant was very good. A very good breakfast too. The rooms were clean, the staff was nice, and overly helpful. My only negative is the shower, it's smaller than an old phone booth. This hotel is also close to the center of the city, so walking distance to all the pubs you can hop to. The food in the pubs is also a good match for some of the finer restaurants, so don't bypass them thinking they are less than excellent. The inside bar is nice, and the garden areas are nicely maintained.

Everything:) The hotel is absolutely amazing. Staff incredibly numerous and well trained, everyone so friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless clean and the feeling of the stay was wonderful. Room was big and comfortable. The food at the Garden Room restaurant was delicious and the serving was lovely. The entire stay was truly amazing:)

We had a delightful stay here. Having arrived to Rosslare on the ferry we were looking for somewhere close by to the port to stay for a couple of nights before heading inland. We left booking to the last minute but were so happy with our stay. The room was spacious, comfortable and with a double aspect provided beautiful views over the surrounding countryside (we went for the larger bedroom). The hosts were super friendly and accommodating, but the icing on the cake were the magnificent breakfasts. A mouthwatering selection of fruits served so many different ways, organic yogurts and the most delicious home made granola were laid out for self service. This was followed by a cooked breakfast (we had the omelette which we highly recommend) tea, fruit juice and toast all served in the lovely breakfast room. We loved the sitting room with its honesty bar, and the tea making area where there was always homemade cake available! A lovely peaceful and tranquil location, yet close to Kilmore where the harbour front is very pretty and you can get excellent fish and chips. Also close by is Wexford which is a bustling town with restaurants and everything you might need.

Such a truly beautiful property in a peaceful location and only 14 minutes to Rosslare Ferry. The owner made me feel very welcome and at ease as a solo female traveller. Made a great recommendation for the Farmer's Kitchen for my dinner which was delicious! Highly recommend there too. The property is ap family owned business and you see the value of this at every turn. I had breakfast made fresh for me earlier than the norm due to my ferry. I had the nicest pancakes and fresh scones and great coffee not to mention the AMAZING buffet spread. So many nice extras such as homemade jam and you are free to walk around the property and enter the old castle tower. This will be my future stopover when traveling to and from Rosslare.

Breakfast was exceptional, for the 'first course' there was organic fruit/yogurt, cereals/nuts and seeds, honey and jams, many from the farm at Killiane Castle. Also homemade scones were served, light and delicious. The main breakfast choices were cooked, Patrycja's Potato cake was amazing, we have never tasted anything like it! The hosts provided tea/coffee facilities in a cute room off the lobby, and homemade cakes for guests, at any time. A small honesty bar was also available, very well thought out. The bedroom was in a courtyard setting, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was huge! It was a hidden gem, a great find. Would highly recommend, and definitely go back!

Wow wow wow! Was pleasantly suprised by the guest lounge with bar and the snug - a fantastic place to relax in front of the fire enjoying the freshly baked cake and cookies on arrival. The classical music playing softly in the background was very relaxing. The beds were comfy and the breakfast was next level - so much choice and so fresh, really appreciated the use of local produce. Very accommodating with our request for an earlier breakfast too. Visits to Curracloe Beach and the Johnstown Estate were wonderful. Can't praise this place enough, thank you for the perfect stay!

The location of the Castle, the land on which it's situated is so peaceful. I love the little woodland walk. It's like a little fairy Glen. The castle and ancient trees surrounding it hold such history, the energy is superb. The facilities in the castle were top class, so comfortable, homely, and everything we needed was at hand. The staff were so friendly and warm, and very attentive. The breakfast, a feast to behold, was delicious. Such choice of fresh food, lots of fresh homemade goodness.

Fresh orange juice and hot brewed coffee or tea. Exceptional! Clare is a delight. She and her brother live in this family home and host guests year round. Clare welcomes guests, her home is warm and comfortable. Guests have access to a lovely sitting room. It is right on the water with a beautiful view. You can walk to the local pub or a quick drive to Duncannon for dinner. We drove here and toured Hook Peninsula which is less traveled with loads of history and unique places to visit. We highly recommend staying at Marsh Mere.

Claire's property was fantastic. An antique feel mixed with contemporary touches. We had a beautiful room filled with antique furniture with a view over the bay and its own terrace. All very clean. Excellent sitting room with grand piano and books, comfy sofas and views. A very good Irish breakfast in the morning. Wished we had stayed more than one night. Claire provided lots of helpful information and few interesting facts about the area. Very peaceful place to stay as it is a very small town with one pub!

Jack, the owner, was incredibly attentive, helpful and understanding. Mornings started with a delightful continental breakfast, which we enjoyed in the dining room with other travellers. There is also a lovely outdoor space - which is a true highlight of the property. It’s ideally located just outside the city, so you’re close enough to go and explore as you wish, without being caught in the hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very quiet. The bathrooms are small but perfectly functional and modern. Jack has thought of everything - with tea and coffee cups in your room, chargers, the wifi code clearly displayed, etc etc. A peaceful, comfortable stay that I’d happily return to!

Jack who was the landlord greeted us and helped us upstairs with our cases which we thought was very kind. The house had a nice atmosphere and Jack and his wife Audrey were very accommodating. Breakfast was self service and consisted of fresh eggs which you could boil in this wonderful little machine, different types of bread, marmalade & jams & conserves, cold meats and cheese and plenty of fresh fruit. There was a lovely coffee machine which made perfect coffee and various teas if you preferred. The room was right at the very top of the house and looked a bit like an attic room with a shower toilet and wash basin en suite. We had a problem with the shower on the first morning of being there but Jack was very quick to put this right so all good. We were in a family room which consisted of a double bed and a single and were extremely comfortable. We loved how you could sit outside and have your breakfast and admire Jack and Audreys beautiful pot plants in the patio area. Jack also provided us with a car permit which enabled us to leave our car on the road right outside the property. Jack and Audrey were really lovely hosts and little Chilli there sweet little chihuahua was a delight albeit a little elderly, bless him.

We had a really enjoyable stay here at Avoca House. Located in North Dublin, it is only 10 minute bus journey into the city centre. It's also located very close to Glasnevin Cemetery and the Botanic Gardens. Jack welcomed us warmly...we were a little earlier than planned but the room was ready after a short wait. The B&B is on a quiet street and is incredibly well looked after. It's clean (spotless) and the room we stayed in was very comfortable. There was very good WiFi, the shower had strong water pressure and plenty of hot water. We didn't have the breakfast here (although it was included), we instead ate out each day as we were meeting friends. There is a lovely coffee shop called Two Brothers Brew not far away which serves nice brunches. There are many great pubs near by, I would definitely recommend the fantastic Gravediggers and Fagans. We had a lovely stay and we would absolutely stay at the Avoca House again when we are back in town.

We liked everything. Our host Jack was very welcoming, helpful and interesting to speak with. Our bedroom was luxurious, very clean, the bed was very big and super comfortable, with two types of pilows. We apreciated cups and kettle in our room and also the charger for smartphones. In the room is everything you need - small and bigger towel, hairdryer, shapoo and soap. The breakfast was perfect, three types of cofee, orange juice, croissants, ham, cheese, butter, granola etc. As a guest you can also sit in the very cosy living room or terrace/garden. In the corridor was little basin with drinking water from mountains. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Absolutely pleasant atmosphere at home, good communication with the owners. It's like being at home with family. Cozy Christmas atmosphere. Very quiet and comfortable area. Easy and quick access to the city center and the airport. Nearby is the botanical garden, which is interesting to visit even in winter. The room and facilities were very comfortable and clean. Good breakfast for self-service, tea, coffee. Everything is perfect in this place.I will gladly stay here next time.

We arrived fairly late the first evening but received a warm welcome from Ray who was in the vicinity of reception, Ray obviously leads by example as the welcome and friendless of his team followed his lead, Jason in the bar deserves a special mention excellent service from all but especially Jason throughout our whole stay. The room was clean, spacious with tea and coffee facilities and bathroom. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, with a selection of fruit, cereals and hot food. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner more than once in the restaurant which was excellent and very convenient.

My wife, my baby boy and I had a fantastic experience, we could not have chosen any better place to stay for St Patrick´s Day. The perfect blend of quiet and fun. We got a lovely room with sea views and our baby enjoy the beautiful sunrise every morning with the birds. We were awaken by the sounds of the wave and the occasional hikers passing by the narrow street at the bottom of the hill. The bed was super comfy and the room was really cozy. The breakfast was superb with a great variety of dishes (including the catch of the day, got my lovely hake!). The restaurant food was delicious, with fish and products locally sourced. The hospitality of the staff was off the charts, with this atmosphere of family business. Special mention to the cleaning ladies who solved a "uncomfortable situation" with our kid being a bit sick. Kudos to Garrett, the resourceful front desk man in charge of reservations, who looked so well after us. We met some friends at St Patrick´s and the atmosphere was lively but still quiet enough to get a good rest by night. Also, the private chauffeur service was accomodating and so helpful to drive us to the airport within very short notice. All in all, an unforgeattable experience, we will certainly come back next chance we have... Howth is such a charming place!

Garret was amazing and helpful. There is no elevator but the room had an amazing sea view and falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing was amazing. The King Sitric has an amazing breakfast and make sure you get a reservation for the Seafood Bar. The food was so fresh and delicious and leave room for the Crème Brûlée! I will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at King Sitric. The view of the spacious room was stunning. It was luxurious. The huge bed was very comfortable and they even provided Voya products in the shower. Breakfast was truly delicious with homemade bread and jams, fresh fruit and warm dishes to order. We also had dinner there which was delicious.

Exceptional location and really comfortable room. This was an overnight getaway which delivered on all front. Room was cosy, warm, beautifully decorated, convenient, sea views, rainfall shower, coffee in room and complimentary chocolates ;) .. free parking across the hotel so one less hassle. What a fantastic property for exploring Dublin. Early check-in (I was one hour early) ran €30. The front desk staff was very friendly and did a great job explaining the property and amenities. I appreciated there were several challenge points where you needed a key card to access areas of the property. It might be a hassle to constantly scan your card, but the security was good peace of mind. Pros: > Convenient access to buses, the Luas, and the DART > Central location to walk to Temple Bar, Trinity College, Dublin Castle, Grafton Street, and all the others must-see areas > Ample space in the Locke Studio for two people > High floor river view suite had great views of Temple Bar Cons: > Lack of bar/restaurant on property > Lighting in the rooms can be a bit dim Honestly this is a well-priced property in the middle of everything you could want to do in Dublin. It is already on the short list for my next visit to the city.

We had a wonderful stay at the Zanzibar Locke Dublin to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We booked direct so had a complimentary early check in at 2pm and late check out at 1pm. We also got the best rate. We booked a Locke studio and requested a river view. We were allocated room 229 in the old building which did indeed have a fabulous view of the river Liffey and Ha’penny bridge. Studios are spacious with modern tasteful furniture and was spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you’ll need including a hub top, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Lovely modern bathroom with powerful hot shower. Petra and Kirsty went above and beyond to help us with our requests and enquiries before and during our stay. We have fallen in love with Dublin and Zanzibar Locke and will definitely be back in the future. Thank you to the Zanzibar Locke team for making our stay a wonderful one!

Zanzibar Locke is an aparthotel right in the middle of Dublin very close to the Ha'penny Bridge, excellent location to anything you want to do in Dublin. I loved the decor and layout of the room, it has everything you need for an excellent stay. We stayed in the Locke Studios and they are perfect for two. Sleeping area with separate living area and spacious bathroom with lots of space for makeup/toiletry bags. Two hooks on the door is so appreciated. Great shower. Plenty of bedside outlets. The AC worked, the kitchen was well kitted out with all the things you need - we saved money by making breakfast each day. The washing machine was appreciated but it took us a while to figure it out. They have a great staff - we felt that they cared about our stay and were always available to help. We picked this hotel because it was walkable to all the Dublin fun things to do as well as Croke Park, so we could walk everywhere and it was easy to go to and from the airport on the Dublin Express. The hotel is between vendors so the bar was not open during our stay but there are so many places to hang out in Dublin that was no problem for us. We didn't utilize the cafe but it looked like a nice place to get a coffee and a croissant. All in all this is a solid choice in the great city of Dublin and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Fantastic location across from the Ha'penney Bridge. The city center is several blocks away but since the Zanzibar is across the river it is relatively quiet. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful about the area such as restaurants and entertainment. Although we were only in Dublin for 3 full days, we made the most of it and coming back to Zanzibar at night is very safe and the hotel has excellent security. If we ever go back to Dublin my wife and I will stay at the same hotel.

Loved everything about this property. You cannot go wrong by choosing to stay here. Location is perfect, it’s within easy walking distance of everything, but just far enough that you’re somewhat shielded from the Temple Bar chaos. It did get slightly noisy on Saturday due to a venue a few doors down, but it was tolerable. Rooms are spacious with a great little kitchenette. On site laundry is super convenient. Beds could be a bit better, but they’re comfortable enough. Plenty of plugs with built in USB’s. Oddly our bathroom didn’t have any outlets. Staff were very friendly, but there’s no in room telephone, so you’ll need to call down from your own phone or walk down for any commutation. Loved our stay here.

Amazing stay from start to finish. Only chose this as a stop off before early ferry to Wales- so easy. But room was amazing- huge double bed with luxury bedding, huge bath and nice smellies, fluffy towels- really high attention to detail. Then went for a quick swim- free towels, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room- totally unexcepted. Then went down for quick dinner and ended up in there for a couple of hours- great choice of food and wines and super efficient service. Perfect stay- wish we’d stayed longer!

We’ve just returned from our third trip to this incredible family run hotel. Beautiful exterior with an abundance of lovely plants and trees, a very homely, elegant and colourful lobby and a super friendly and welcoming check in. We’ve never encountered such high standards of customer service anywhere. Our room was so pretty and cosy with the most comfortable bed. The bar was bustling and the food was absolutely delicious. The waiting staff and bar staff did not stop all night. We also loved the stunning pool, jacuzzi, sauna and ice bath and the stylish changing rooms with underfloor heating. Breakfast was divine and the homemade brown bread was to die for. This is a place where the guest experience is 5 * and it’s evident that your custom is greatly appreciated. We cannot wait to return.

I checked in around 3.30pm thankfully my room was ready . Cathy at reception was extremely helpful and friendly and welcomed me back to the Whitford which I thought was a nice touch I had the same room as my last visit which I was very happy with it , it has a great shower , no Netflix this time though which was a pity . I booked dinner for 7.30pm at the bar however the bar was busy so I waited in the lobby until a table was available. On this occasion once I had settled in at the table it really didn’t suit as I couldn’t see to read my book as it was super dark ( down near the carvery area) . The food was delicious as was the red wine 🍷 again extremely great value . I would not like to sit in that area again . I booked breakfast for 9.45am on both mornings- staff were fabulous hot food order taken at the table which is great as food is fresh and hot . Particular shout out to the server who helped me Monday morning with my request for a weak tea ( I didn’t catch her name but she spoke with an English accent) also to Maria who was also helpful on my second morning. I went for dinner Monday evening and the bar was extremely busy again . Laura was my server and was extremely helpful and friendly .

The super deluxe room is so comfortable and spacious with a balcony overlooking the well maintained garden. The bar and restaurant has a busy, fun atmosphere and the food and service is excellent. Breakfast is delicious with lots of variety and a tasty cooked food menu. My husband was very impressed with Netflix on the TV. This is not our first visit to the hotel and definitely won’t be our last. It has never disappointed us. So, comfortable,clean and welcoming.

This is an incredible hostel. One of the most friendly, hospitable, and comfortable stays I ever had - I was almost sad that I was mostly busy outside and couldn't value the room more, and also the kindness and friendliness of my hosts, of course! Spacious. Spacious and incredibly comfortable bed. Very nice and functional (though small) modern bathroom. Great shower!!! Tea & coffee facilities in the room. The hosts are super friendly, I was much too early for check in and had suggested that I wait but they had everything ready anyway (which can't be expected with such a small hostel with few staff members). I'm delighted and would definitely recommend it. The neighbourhood is very nice too, supermarkets, bakery, restaurants etc - everything is close by.

I've lived in Dublin 11 years and was going back for a few days to see some friends so I already knew the area was one of the best residential areas in Dublin. It is safe, quiet, full of trees and very well connected to the city centre (if you are not up for walking - it is a 20/25 minutes walk into town so it isn't far at all). There is a Tesco Express just around the corner, and a gorgeous little steakhouse two doors down from the guest hall and the Donnybrook Fair is just 5 minutes away on foot. Moreover, if you are environmentally conscious and you rent an electric car when in Dublin, there is a charging station about 15 steps from Donnybrook Hall's main door. The guest house itself is a gorgeous little gem in the heart of Donnybrook. The staff is genuinely kind and hospitable and such a pleasure to talk to. The place is beautiful. The common areas always smell like cinnamon, they are very cosy and spotless and I can't speak for all the rooms in the place but the one I got was the best room I've ever stayed in. Aside from being a beautiful room at the back of the house (therefore very private and quiet) it was, again, very clean and really comfortable. The mattress and pillows were really comfy and the bathroom was newly redone to really high standards. The perfect place to go back to after spending the whole days walking around town. I fell in love with the place and I have a feeling I'll be back.

Hotel was central to shops bars an restaurants. Quiet area at night. Buses to centre Dublin few minutes walk. Close to both the rds and the aviva for events and rugby matches. No meals including breakfast but no problems regarding that. Room was spacious and clean, bed super comfy. Host and staff warm an friendly. Definitely recommend staying at donnybrook Hall.

A nice, cozy room in a large older building, a block from shops and restaurants. The room was right off a little courtyard, letting in natural light when the door curtains were open. Small, perfect for one, nicely decorated and clean. Comfy single bed with a good mattress and nice linens! Bathroom fixtures were modern and easy to use, with a shelf in the shower to put shampoo and soap. Staff were always available and super friendly. Lovely neighborhood, and a very nice grocery with a lot of freshly-prepared foods a few blocks left down Morehampton Rd.

My daughter and I stayed at Clonard Court Hotel on Saturday, 11th October 2025, and we were genuinely impressed by the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, making check-in smooth and stress-free — which is always appreciated when travelling with a child! Our room was spotless, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing night. The beds were cozy, and we both slept soundly. My daughter especially loved the little touches — from the friendly smiles at reception to the warm atmosphere throughout the hotel. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of the food. The menu had great options for both adults and kids, and the staff were happy to accommodate our preferences. The Clanard Court Hotel was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. Five stars all the way - from the friendly greeting by the front desk at check in, the clean modern spacious room, heated bathroom floors, garden view, great dinner with great friendly and polite waitstaff, great huge breakfast included, to the efforts made to help return the bag we left in our room after check out. Slightly of the way location but only about 45 min outside of Dublin airport, so quiet and relaxing after a long flight. I highly recommend this hotel.

With the building facing Stephen's Green and backing onto the Iveagh Gardens, this creates such a calm atmosphere. A quiet haven which is pleasing and unusual in such a central location...and very conducive to a good night's sleep. I found my room to be so very welcoming and clean with calm, tasteful decor, a really comfortable bed and lovely bedlinen and pillows. There was a super, spacious en suite supplied with great towels and gorgeous Voya products. Little luxuries such as the yummy little box of Irish made chocolates add a layer of indulgence and I loved the fresh apples, left out on pretty plates, along the windowsills on corridors for guests to enjoy. Breakfast is really pleasant and includes plenty of options available on the menu. It is served in pretty rooms, with great views and relaxing ambience. The staff could not have been more helpful and were all charming in my experience. Overall I had a wonderful time in Stauntons, would recommend it without the slightest hesitation and cannot wait to be able to stay there again.

The staff was always friendly and helpful, and the room was well-stocked. I loved the atmosphere of the hotel--quiet, pleasant and homey. It felt like a nice little apartment. Everything was clean and well-stocked daily. We also really loved the location across from the park, it was perfect for walking to where we wanted to go and it was central to all of our activities. Also some great restaurants nearby, just around the block! We would both love to stay again.

From my dealings with Tracy and our requests before we arrived (All Met and were Perfect - Thank You Tracy your a star), to the warm and welcoming greating from the Elderly Concierge Gentleman who was an absolute Gent both he and all the staff in the Bistro where the food and atmosphere were exceptional, the bar staff Aaron and Lauren were very attentive and remembered my request for 3 wedges of lime in my Gin and Tonic and made my wife Marian a Superb Irish Coffee. The Deluxe Room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the Happy Birthday Plate with Cake and Fruit a Lovely Touch. The view out of the lake was beautiful and the bed was large and very comfortable and gave such a peaceful nights sleep, the bathroom had luxury toiletries and the shower was powerful and hot, everything about the room was A1. After a goods night rest we headed to the restaurant for the Irish Breakfast which was buffet style and was exceptional, probably the best Full Irish I have had in ALL my travels worldwide, this coupled with the attentive staff once again made this a stay that lived up to Cead Mille Failte (A thousand Welcomes) Crover House Keep doing what you are doing it works!!! Marian and I will be Back, A Great Hotel, Great Ambience, Great Atmosphere with a staff 2nd to None.

The room size is fantastic and includes a sofa, desk and coffee table. The room is bigger than some apartments. The staff (without exception) are very accommodating and the restaurant food is excellent. Breakfast is a masterpiece in country dinning. The room has a number of USB charging ports that are very well located. The grounds are beautiful and the view from the lake view rooms is wonderful. Bring your golf clubs as the golf course is right at the front door and is well maintained. Really worth a game. The bed is huge and very comfortable. Fresh flowers in the room when we arrived was a nice touch. The heating works very well and the area is lovely and quiet yet still close enough to drive to a number of small towns nearby. The WiFi is fast at about 100 Mb/s and reliable.

Breakfast was nice. Good selection of Continental and Cooked breakfast options. Concierge, Liam couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. All staff are exceptional. Will definitely be back. Bed in double Lake View room was huge and comfy, it's a simple hotel, but clean, easy to get around, and comfortable. The bar food was excellent. Don't play gold, but there is a 9-hole course there. Lake is beautiful, and while very rural area, plenty to see and so around.

The 'Rockville' is perfectly located central to the main areas of Cashel, and with a breath taking view of 'The Rock of Cashel' outside, and inside from the guest breakfast room. Breakfast each morning was delicious with numerous options provided by the host. Our host, Patrick, he was the human whirlwind. nothing was too much trouble for him, he had some great advice on the area, and best of all was his amazing sense of humour and ability to get us all smiling, if not killing ourselves with laughter.

We visited the Rock of Cashel which is visible from Rockville House. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendly Inn keepers. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of tea and coffee, comfortable beds, and tv. The parking is safe and behind a gate. The breakfast is very good and served hot. Quiet place, you can see the Rock of Cashel from the front door of the B&B.

Our large and comfortable room had a view of The Rock which was amazing. The breakfast room, as well as the breakfast provided, was very well done. Our Host Patrick made our stay very enjoyable. He was very welcoming and helpful. The location of the Guesthouse allows you to walk into this historic town. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

This was our favorite stay of our Ireland trip. Butler House is an exceptional place to stay. The room was large and had a view of the Castle. The view is incredible. The beds were soft and welcoming. There is a sitting area, changing area, huge bathroom with a bathtub and in room safe. The property is expansive. The gardens make for a lovely stroll or quiet moment. The garden connects to the castle entrance area! This is the Dowager house for the castle and the building is lovely. There is a bar with a beautiful sitting area and cafe area on the patio. We ordered drinks and nibbles and enjoyed the sunshine on the patio until it got cool. The breakfast is also top notch, with many choices made to order. The staff were attentive and delightful. We loved the little details of this place.

The hotel has private parking, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and check in was very smooth. We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.

Beautiful estate home of Butler family with the most warm and welcoming staff. Easy stroll down to heart of Kilkenny. Breakfast was exceptional--served in a beautiful dining room. There is also a comfortable bar lounge with service until 23:00. Both areas overlook the gorgeous rear garden. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. For your visit to the Castle just walk through the garden gate and presto: you are at the entrance to the castle! Suggest taking the guided tour which really adds to the experience and is only slightly more expensive than self-guided admission fee. Would absolutely stay here again. Free parking was an important bonus for us.

This historical house is beautiful and elegant. Its formal garden is a walk through to the Castle just steps away. Our garden-view room was large, clean, modernized, and comfortable. The manager is warm, helpful, and has worked there for twenty-four years. The breakfast was excellent. Private on-site parking was easy and safe. The medieval village has wonderful history, excellent restaurants, shops, and helpful locals.

I liked everything about Gleesons Townhouse from the moment I stepped inside the door. The staff were very helpful amiable efficient and very hard working. The smell from the restaurant was delicious. The parking was easy and accessible.we were too early to book in but the receptionist took our luggage and then staff took us to a most comfortable lounge to have tea, coffee or any drink of choice. When we were told our room was ready, we booked in and was told our luggage had already been taken to our room. A very welcome gesture, especially after a long drive. We had dinner in the restaurant which was delicious. The table was beautifully set, the decour was tasteful and plush and the general ambiance of the restaurant was an abundance of people enjoying themselves.

They had lots of breakfast options. It was all very tasty and service was excellent. The bathrooms were very clean and shower had good hot water control and pressure. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet so got a great night’s sleep. Staff was helpful with questions and setting up taxi services. We also enjoyed the bar and restaurant- great food and excellent service.

We really appreciated the flexible check in when we arrived early, the spacious parking, clean spaces and comfy room . The bottled water was a nice touch and the shower was great. We chose for the location to walk around town & have drinks at infamous Sean's Bar and it was perfect for that; a short 10-15 walk along a flat road. Can also recommend Gertie Brownes Bar & Bistro; great meal there.

We stayed for one night as we were attending a wedding just 10 minutes away. Even though it was a short stay, everything was excellent. We arrived about 45 minutes early and were kindly allowed to check in. The house was spotless and beautifully decorated — it was a real pleasure to sleep in those comfy beds with fresh sheets. In the room, there were bottles of water, tea, coffee, and some biscuits — just what we needed to relax upon arrival. Getting an Uber to the wedding was easy, and the area was very peaceful, with a stunning park view that looked like a movie scene. Linda was incredibly kind and has the most beautiful, sweet dogs! Thank you for everything!

Linda gave us recommendations for places to grab a pint and get dinner. such friendly amazing people would recommend for sure!!! we were a total of 7 people and they treated us all so wonderfully, I don’t think I ever seen either of them without a smile and a pleasant word. Great position, great money for value, room big enough 2 people and luggage and quiet for a good sleep. The check in was fast and the owner very kind and professional. The place is well located in town, 10 minutes walk from the center, and with a parking lot in the property. The breakfast had a wide choice of meal, and fresh juices, coffee and tea and milk. A wonderful 3-night stay at the Aberdeen Lodge with authentic Irish hospitality! When you come here you’re getting more than just accommodations, you’re entering a home. Pat and Ann own and operate this hotel as well as live here, along with their two beautiful children, two dogs and one cat! They couldn’t have been more warm, charming or helpful, helping us with everything from how to use the bus and DART train (both very close by), to dinner reservations, taxi arrangements, and one night Pat even drove us to dinner himself! The lodge and rooms are lovely and authentic, and very quiet. The beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water and water pressure in the showers. The sitting room was the best, as that is where we would visit with Pat, Ann, and several other world travelers as they came and went while sipping hot tea or coffee. Definitely get the breakfast as it was amazing and a great way to start the day. Also, while there are restaurants walking distance from the lodge, they were only for lunch and dinner. But definitely go for dinner at the Merrion restaurant, a 15-minute walk, for a wonderful meal with great service and Irish atmosphere. Make a reservation, but go early and enjoy a pint at the bar before dinner while watching a rugby match on the tv’s. If you’re wanting new and modern, this isn’t the place, but for comfort, authenticity and genuine charm, you can’t beat Aberdeen Lodge!

We were accommodated here in 2021 and we were very happy here - so we came back. And it was as great as last time - sheets perfect and clean, clean and ready bathroom (new towels and toiletries every day), bathrobe and slippers, water added every day and tea and coffee accessories. Breakfast is chosen from the menu - porridge with fruit and honey, granola with yoghurt and fruit or compoted plums with yoghurt, full irish breakfast, ham, cheese, scrambled eggs with salmon, pancakes with maple syrup, etc. Tea, coffee, milk, toast, butter and jam are commonplace. Everything tasty and of great quality. The owner welcomed us with coffee, tea and homemade biscuits in the living room. If you are in Ireland/Dublin for the first time, you will get lots of information on where to go, how to buy a ticket for public transport (Leap Card) or where to go to a good restaurant in the area, etc.

Dining location was lovely. Kitchen was quiet and dining room was comfortable with nice view of terrace and garden. Service was great. Breakfast was always delicious and we sampled many items on offer. Juice was fresh squeezed and coffee hot with pot at table. Eggs were cooked perfectly and all was made to order. Very convenient to not have to walk into the village for breakfast.

What a great place! Located about 15 minutes to the city center by bus, of which the stop is less than 200 feet from the front door. The train stop is a short 10 minute walk. There are some very good restaurants, bars, a convenience store, a grocery store and pharmacy nearby (about a 10 minute walk). The beach walk is about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The entire staff was fantastic! The breakfast was delicious and Everytime you came back from touring the city you were offered coffee and/or tea. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean as well as the bathroom. All were cleaned daily. I noticed in some reviews people fuss about the carpeting being outdated; that may be the case but it is clean. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Lovely hotel situated close to Sandymount village centre and the beach. Ideally situated for travel in to Dublin on the DART or the bus service. The DART also enables travel north as far as Malahide or South to Bray and Greystones along this lovely coast. Rooms were spacious and clean and staff were very friendly. Our hosts could not have been more helpful and attentive. The garden is spacious and ideal for relaxation before, or after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was beautifully presented and offered a perfect selection to set you up for the day. We'll definitely be back.

The room exceeded expectation. Very spacious and had very comfortable chairs to sit on in the room. The sitting room, again very spacious and comfortable seating. There was copious amounts of tea, coffee, water readily available throughout my stay in the sitting room, though you could have it brought to the room. The dining room was very welcoming and enjoyable breakfast. This was booked at the last minute and I was a bit dubious but could not have been more pleasantly surprised.

From the moment I checked in, I was presented with a friendly greeting from the staff at reception. I checked in early, and this wasn't an issue at all. My room was ready. The room was very spacious with a huge walk-in rainfall shower, which was amazing and so refreshing. One lady in particular, she was so welcoming and you can tell she loves her job, I didn't get her name, but I think she might be a Polish lady. I remember a few years back, I had an afternoon tea, and it was the same lady who served us. I knew straight away when I saw her at breakfast that it was the same person. I stayed in the hotel once before about 5 or 6 years, and I have wanted to stay again ever since I finally got to, and it was worth it. Such a beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, professional staff, and a supurb breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel for a warm and welcoming stay in the city centre which is only a 5 minute walk.

I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The airport connection is good and quite fast, several bus options are available. Location is convenient, a bit off the beaten track, but there are several bus stops a quick walk away, taking you all over the city. Several pubs are also nearby. The guest house is just so beautiful. The building itself has many intricate architectural details, and the decor is opulent and in-keeping with the style of the house. The room was very lovely with all the amenities required for the stay, including tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable and perfectly clean. The whole room, and indeed the whole house, was immaculately clean. The location of the house was perfect, a comfortable short walk to the town centre, Trim Castle and shops on the main street. Despite this, it was very quiet. Geraldine, the hostess, was very responsive to our messages and was very welcoming on arrival, providing local information. The stay at the guesthouse made our visit very enjoyable. I would definitely return here again.

A beautiful house, tastefully decorated in keeping with the era it was built. Exceptionally clean; very comfortable mattress and pillows. The owner no longer provides breakfast but we found that this meant we had a relaxing morning and the recommended restaurants for breakfast were only a few minutes walk away after we checked out. A quiet location with beautiful gardens, yet all local amenities and attractions are on the doorstep. The owner was also very helpful and kind. Would definitely stay again.

We had a single overnight stay here with an early morning departure. The owner was very accommodating when we arrived fairly early and the entire staff was friendly. The owner readily shared all the things we needed to see and do in Trim during the short time we had there. The location is perfect, being right across from Trim Castle and very close to the downtown area. Trim is a beautiful town to walk in, and Highfield House is the perfect spot to use as a home base. The room itself wasn't huge, but it worked for us. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. There are lots of electrical outlets in the room, so there was no problem charging all our devices. The room could have used a few more hangers in the bathroom for wet towels and the like. Overall, this is a great place to use for your base in Trim. It should be noted this is not a B&B (they don't serve any kind of breakfast). One other thing to be aware of in Trim... there isn't a pub in town that serves food on Monday nights (when we were there), and most of the restaurants are closed. There was an Asian restaurant there which we did enjoy on Monday night.

I've recently had a few trips to Dublin and previous trip the mespil was booked out, so stayed in a nearby hotel. Also, 4 star, nice road etc, but absolutely zero comparison. Food is fab, we enjoyed a lunch & breakfast. Everything fresh and tasty, coffee great, and Isabella couldn't do enough for us. The Mespil bedrooms are modern, spacious, bathrooms bright and fab products, rituals. This hotel keeps improving and the refurbished family rooms were gorgeous, loads of room. Food was great, we enjoyed lunch in arrival and a delicious fresh breakfast, great quality coffee and excellent service from Isabellas. Rooms are spotless. Front desk so friendly, all staff really friendly, Donal made sure we were good, it's nice that they remember you from previous visits, so the personable feeling is there, it's more than just a city hotel. This hotel cares that you return and make sure that you do.

While staying overnight in Dublin we went to the Mespil Hotel for Breakfast. On arrival, we were greeted warmly by Donal at the entrance to the Dining Room who showed us to the Buffet Breakfast and to our table. The number of choices on the cooked breakfast menu was extensive and we all choose the cooked Irish Breakfast which was delicious. Orange smoothie was top class also. We were looked after by Luana who checked that all was well during the meal. Donal looked after us also and was very attentive. The atmosphere in the Dining Room was relaxed and cheerful. The hospitality and easy courtesy reminded us of Dublin in earlier times. Not to be missed. The staff were very friendly and very informative. The hotel was clean and the room was quite modern and comfortable. The location is within walking distance to all the great restaurants, pubs, and close enough to the Temple Bar district to walk to it, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Wonderful staff - from housekeeping and front desk to the restaurants. Spacious room had large window with lots of natural light and both bed and chair were very comfortable. Coffee and tea in the rooms and the robes and small wash cloths were much appreciated. Excellent and extensive buffet breakfast with selection of cereals, yogurt, meats, eggs, veggies, house smoked salmon, juices, and real coffee. Gluten-free and vegan options in both restaurants. Circuitous route to the small fitness suite requires significant motivation for use. Good quality and variety of equipment though. 10 minute walk from air coach bus stop but cobblestone and uneven sidewalks make roller bags a challenge and your wheels will take a beating. Hotel, in general, could use better attention to maintenance. Carpet in the room needed a deep clean, many hand sanitizer dispensers throughout hotel were empty as were the water dispensers and equipment spray in the gym. Highly recommended overall and would definitely stay again.

I'm not precious about the hotel I stay in for work, just a clean, functional room is all i need, but the Mespil felt much more special, like staying in a really nice hotel, which was quite a treat. The room was a good size and had all the amenities provided [shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, hand & body lotion, a hairdryer, iron & board, safe, kettle for tea & coffee pod machine (plus bonus caramel chocolates), small fridge with water - though the tap water is also safe to drink, dressing gown + slippers and a face cloth and shower cap (note no cotton pads or buds, which is fine but useful to know take your own if you need them)]. Blackout curtains, a safe, plenty of clothes hangers, a rain shower plus handheld section and a shelf for your own bits eg facewash, magnifying mirror (that actually worked - much to the horror of my un-plucked eyebrows). There's a useful under-sink night light in the bathroom for easy late-night loo visits without it feeling like that moment they turn the lights on in the club at the end. Air con was quiet enough to not need ear plugs (so was the hotel actually) and I didn't find too many lights on at night - I am easily disturbed by those 'dot' lights on TVs, alarm clocks, smoke alarms etc and always travel with an eye-mask (and have been known to tape over them) but I didn't need the mask in my room here. There is also a water bottle refill point on the ground floor opposite the lift. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved that we could cook our own meals on the stove as it saved us a lot of money eating out. The kitchen facilities were modern and stylish however a little cramped. The fridge allowed us to store food but was a little small. Our favourite parts were the huge double bed and large screen TV. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept really well each night. There is a large screen tv which allows you to watch streaming services such as YouTube, Disney+, Netflix and Spotify. The bathroom was very clean and modern. The shower space was a little small but gave nice warm showers. The cafe/restaurant space on the ground floor was amazing. You can order food and drinks 24/7. This area is cosy, modern and comfortable. There’s also a laundry room for guests. This saved us so much luggage space as we didn’t need to pack as much for our flight. There’s also a gym for guests who wish to use it

Fabulous, well appointed apartment with the bonus of hotel 24 hour reception, bar, breakfast (if needed). Spotlessly clean, immediate response to requests (clean towels/housekeeping), helpful and terrific staff, and great facilities. Wonderful to be able to sit in the cosy lounge and have a drink after a full day. Great location 5 mins from tram, buses, river, shops and very good restaurants. We will be returning.

The lobby has a great café and bar that's perfect for relaxing in after a day and evening out exploring Dublin. There's also a lovely garden. Breakfast was plentiful and quite good, too. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to restaurants, sites, and public transit. Great base for walking. The express bus to the airport stops nearby.

My wife and I had exceptional experience. We enjoyed the historic Georgian details, 12 foot ceilings, and color scheme, as well as the clear modern flourishes in regard to the desk design, king size bed and lighting. The staff keeps the place immaculate. Spending a full week at Pembroke, we especially appreciated the deep restorative sleep we could get after a full day of walking and touring the city. Its neighborhood is very safe —even at midnight on a Sunday or Monday. Two long blocks from the hotel is a commercial district that has the full day to day amenities — banks, pharmacies, a Tesco, four coffee shops— as well as many fun and varied restaurants (Thai, Malaysian, Spanish, Italian, Mexican, Jamaican) and pubs (Searson’s in particular is a gem!).

Beautiful building and room, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including tea, coffee etc for the morning and a very comfortable bed. Great size room in perfect location - on a beautiful, peaceful road but still walkable into centre of Dublin as long as you don't mind a bit of a walk (which we really enjoyed).

Charming guest house with comfortable king size bed and walk in shower. It is located within 30 minutes walk to Trinity Dublin and most meeting points for Day Tours around Ireland. Close to restaurants, chemists, grocery stores and shopping district at Stephen’s Green. The staff are very helpful with any questions or concerns. There is a mini fridge for storing cool drinks, light snacks and a capsule coffee maker and kettle to make coffee and tea. Filtered water provided and ice available in a freezer on the bottom level of the property. Luggage storage also available to allow touring after check out with the ability to return to pick up luggage before leaving on an evening flight out of Dublin.

Beautiful, period home with lots of character. Room was minimally modern and tastefully furnished with added benefit of air-conditioning. Very comfortable bed, Nespresso machine, kettle, etc. Small, but perfect en suite. Great location for city centre, but many great cafés and breakfast/brunch spots nearby. As an extra bonus, the Aircoach 703 from Dublin airport ( Stand 20, I think) stops less than 5 minutes walk away. We met Hilary, the guesthouse owner, just as we were leaving. She was very friendly, hospitable, and had been quick to communicate and respond to any messages prior to arrival. Overall, a great place to stay; I'd definitely recommend and consider staying again in the future.

The room was cozy, classy, impeccably clean, with a really comfortable bed. We appreciated the mini fridge, and though the space was quite small, it had a desk. It might be cramped for two people to stay here long term, but for one person it would be perfect. The location was convenient even though it’s not right in the downtown core. And a great range. We had a lovely overnight stay in room 6. The staff recognised MIL mobility issues and were very helpful and patient so she didn’t feel rushed. Every where was clean and fresh. The staff very attentive.

Booked as was attending a wedding in the nearby Four Seasons Hotel. Perfect location as was about a 5-minute walk to the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We hadn't breakfasts included in our room rate but just paid there for a lovely breakfast in the bar. Overall perfect for our needs and I would return.

Hotel is in a great central location in the centre of Carlingford and very close to the beach. Hotel is very welcoming, comfortable with the guest at the centre of everything. Great room and private residents only terrace, perfect for a nightcap! Delicious menus.

Clean comfortable small hotel in the middle of Carlingford's medieval village. The hotel has no parking of its own, but parking is free everywhere in the village and we had no trouble finding a spot. Room was not huge but super comfortable with a king sized bed and excellent bathroom. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the restaurant downstairs and everybody was super friendly.

Breakfast was fabulous, staff were genuinely lovely and friendly, location was perfect and our room was excellent with such a comfortable bed. We ate dinner the 2 nights in the hotel and both times it was beautifully made with all fresh produce. Will definitely stay here again.

Located a few KM away from Town centre. Lots of free & safe parking facilities which did not need to be pre_booked. The furnishings were both interesting & tasteful. We just loved the dining room which was very tastefully furnished with period furniture & beautiful china. We dined from gorgeous real china tableware & a beautiful tea service. Our hosts and the waiting staff were both friendly & attentive to our needs. The breakfast was served hot & tasty with a goog choice of hot food& the usual cereals , yoghurt & fresh fruit were also available. Lashings of Tea served in large china teapot or brewed coffee were served. The beds were super comfy with good quality bedlinnen and our room had generous tea making facilities.

Room - was clean and very comfortable. The room was made up everyday with fresh towels provided on a daily basis. There were extensive tea/coffee options which we had refilled on several occasions. Breakfast - excellent choice of fresh fruit, yogurt, fruit juice and cereals. There was also a full Irish breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, white/black pudding, mushrooms, toast, soda bread and tomatoes. You could also choose from an omelette, poached eggs or waffles. There was an endless supply of fresh coffee and tea.

Exceptional B&B. Rooms v. comfortable modern and clean. Food at breakfast was well cooked and plentiful. Hosts Charlotte and Sean were welcoming, friendly and very helpful indeed. Couldn't fault our experience in the Aisleigh. 10/10 to Charlotte and Sean!

What a fantastic B&B, couldn't have asked for better. Was spotless and homely. The hostess even drove us to a wedding reception down the road. She could not have been more attentive and generous. Breakfast was lovely, buffet selection of cereals and fruit and also had a menu to order hot food with some lovely options. We were delighted to have been given such nice filter coffee for breakfast, was a lovely surprise. Bedrooms had all you needed, hairdryer, bathroom with a shower, kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits. Beautiful gardens and a lovely lounge area for customers. Had a lovely late checkout time of 11.30, l couldn't have asked for better. Excellent pricing which is why we choose to stay here. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

It was a wonderful weekend in your beautiful hotel with my best friend.Our fabulous room overlooked the lawn and giant chess set and had it's own dressing room,so wow wee.A hugh shout out to our server Helen every morning at breakfast,so efficient and always smiling. There was a tall, lovely and funny hostess at breakfast who always got us a perfect setting for a very delicious brekkie,my friend is on a gluten free diet and was delighted with her options. Every time we entered or left the hotel for a stroll through the grounds or getting the complimentary shuttle into Enniskerry the concierge staff went above and beyond and we're full of good humour, helpfulness and most importantly fun. At night it's glorious to kick off your heels in front of the fireplaces and have some yummy drinks and reflect on the always relaxing and rejuvenating events of the day eg,..eating,drinking,strolling, swimming, jacuzzi,hammam suite,massive girley catch ups etc...My daughter worked in a 5 star resort nearby here in East Cork last summer and was delighted to hear I was visiting Powerscourt as her exclusive guests last summer would very often be staying with you selves on their Leinster leg of their journey,needless to say she got a 6 star ⭐ report.Kind regards to the team.

The robes are lovely and cosy and the size of the room umand bathroom is more than adequate. The hotel itself has a lovely reception area and a number of places to eat. The grounds are spectacular and walks around the estate are highly recommend. The swimming pool is lovely with a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. Robes are provided at the swimming pool so you can lounge around the pool on one of the loungers. The breakfast was exceptional.. lots of options on the buffet both hot and cold. There is an additional charge for some options on a menu but there is more than enough at the buffet to please everyone. Staff are lovely and very helpful.

Myself and my sister had a one night stay in the hotel. We were met with a read carpet and a lovely warm welcome from John looking dapper in his top hat. The staff were very friendly and polite and looked after us so well. The room was amazing with beautiful decor. Spotlessly clean and bright. The bathroom was huge bath and shower. The beds were very comfortable and both were doubles. The view of the mountains and water fountain which was lit up at night was breathtaking. There was a giant chess game on the lawn, We did not use the spa or pool as we wanted to explore the hotel and garden. We did go into the spa to have a look it was warm and inviting. The food was delicious and the taste well all I can say is it’s a burst of lovely flavours in your mouth. Cocktails are delicious also and sitting in the lobby sipping them and looking at the fantastic view is paradise. The Sally Gap bar was lovely and comfortable again with cocktails and music. We danced all night and the guitarist was so happy to oblige us with requests. I think his name was Brian (so sorry if I got the wrong name. We had breakfast of eggs Benedict and lovely coffee sent to our room which was a lovely treat. We checked out and had a lovely walk in the Powerscourt gardens. 14 euros each and well worth it. Memories will be with us forever. A huge thank you to all the staff at the hotel you are amazing, Hope to come back soon x

The Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin was an excellent choice—comfortable, stylish, and located in the heart of the city. Just a short walk from St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Temple Bar area, and Trinity College, it’s the perfect home base for exploring Dublin. The rooms were clean, modern, and very comfortable. The on-site restaurant was convenient and served delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. What made this stay even more special was the thoughtful planning of my travel agent. She had a lovely welcome letter and chocolates waiting for us upon arrival, along with a personalized itinerary of local events and activities to help us make the most of our time in Dublin. Her attention to detail and local insight truly elevated our experience. Highly recommend both the hotel and the exceptional service provided by our travel agent!

The Centric is perfectly located near all the sightseeing attractions, easily walkable or by cab. Spitalfields is just one block away, with amazing food and hospitality. The lobby is chic and inviting, the food is delicious, and breakfast is fast and tasty. I appreciate as a Globalist, we are free to leave as soon as we're finished without having to sign a check. The bar is open late with a fun and approachable staff. The rooms are comfortable with ample space, good air conditioning and clean bathrooms with tall showers. The hallways feature a nice thick carpet and several dividing doors are closed at night, which really keep noise to a minimum when trying to sleep. We received an out of this world welcome for our final stay of a trip to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. Abdul reached out in advance of our trip, and when I told him about the occasion he made sure she received a gorgeous upgrade with a thoughtful note in her room. He even made sure to find me and say goodbye at check-out! That's rare service. David helped us at check-in and was extremely helpful and friendly - and made sure staff was able to track us down during lunch to hand over the key to an additional room that was not yet ready upon arrival. This is a GREAT hotel that earns its reputation - I won't hesitate to recommend it as my Dublin go-to from now on.

Yet, there are many more reasons why it’s a great base to explore the sights of Dublin. My room was spacious, bright, quiet, and had a very comfortable bed and sitting area. The welcome we received with chocolates, macarons, little souvenirs from Dublin, a coloring book, and a teddy bear for my daughter warmed my heart. Plus, the staff was so attentive and accommodating that it felt rather like staying with good friends, despite the hotel having more than 200 rooms and a big, well-equipped fitness room. In the evening, it was nice not to have to walk any further but to eat at Liberties Gate Bar or Restaurant. They will have you covered with delicious appetizers like oysters, good meat choices, and very tasty vegetarian options. Everything was arranged beautifully on the plate. The hotel sometimes offers deals with half-board, so I would definitely go for that! Breakfast was à la carte with options for anyone’s preference. Hyatt Centric The Liberties Dublin will be my top choice for my next visit to Ireland’s capital.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the suites and were happy with our stay overall. The beds were comfortable and shower nice and big. I kind of chuckle when its advertised as a “view of the church” when in fact all you can see is the tip of the steeple… you see more of the hotel ledge and street below than the church. With this said, im not really spending time looking out my window anyways. The breakfast was decent, staff in restaurant were attentive and pleasant and breakfast service was quick. The only thing I’d complain about is the parking situation… the car park has very minimal spots available and it is extremely tight, so much so I could not open the back door of the car without hitting the post. There’s also a ridiculously high cost to park here so be warned if you have a rental vehicle. All said, we had a fantastic stay and can’t say enough good things about the wonderful front desk staff, maids, and restaurant servers... great customer service! I do feel with the added parking cost on top of the already costly room it made for an extra expensive stay but nonetheless, a good one. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central place in Dublin close to major attractions. Thanks for an enjoyable stay…. But please consider taking the parking fee away as this is definitely a consideration for many.

This was a stopover point for us on our way back to Dublin and was a great quiet location. Breakfast served downstairs in the bar / restaurant had plenty to chose from the menu, we had fresh fruit salad with yogurt and local honey - the fruit was very fresh, yogurt was a greek yogurt and very good quality. Delish. Coffee was great with all the alternate milks available. I also found a great little hairdresser across from the hotel called Aura Hair and Michelle (I think her name was) did a great wash and Blowdry for me. If you are here take the drive to look at the nearby castle and also to do the 3km walk around Fore (7 wonders of Fore).

I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable, and the staff were genuinely lovely and attentive throughout my visit. One of the highlights for me was the food. Being gluten free, I often find it difficult to get good options when travelling, but the hotel really went above and beyond. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent, and the staff made sure I was well looked after. The gluten free curry at dinner was delicious, their carvery gravy is also gluten free, and even the full Irish breakfast can be made gluten free. It made such a difference to feel so well catered for. Overall, a very comfortable and welcoming stay with fantastic food and service.

Friday Karoke absolutely brilliant staff in the bar was excellent, breakfast was awesome and tasty and very fast efficient service , and the Desk clerk who check ne in was very friendly and helpful too.... I checked into room 101 was perfect and clean too I travelled up from Dublin for the weekend and to take part in the karoke night hosted by Paul Cheevers was a perfect night and would book in more often if the event was ongoing and continued and I'm sure you would benefit more as it seemed to bring in alot of people and would bring more if it was able to continue to go on.... We have stayed at the previous Castle Pollard Hotel several years ago and we loved it. Wow! We loved the newly refurbished Hotel Varagh, the staff were welcoming and so helpful the hotel was clean and comfortable our room a delight. We commend the efficient and helpful restaurant staff. Location perfect. Car park was gated so our car was safe. We will be definitely booking for next year. A big thank you to all the managers and staff. 😀

Right in the middle of Castle Pollard and the food was fabulous nothing to much trouble I asked for some thing that was not on the menu and the chef accommodated me fresh fish goujons honestly the best I have ever tasted and the bar staff all friendly and helpful really a breath of fresh air. 3 other bars within 2 minutes walking all friendly, big supermarket , Chinese takeaway, pizza place, and another takeaway all around the square. Honestly within 2 minutes rolling countryside with Castles, lakes and hills to walk it’s got everything.

The Shelbourne stay starts with a lovely greeting by the door staff and does not disappoint. The flower display is simply gorgeous and a welcome every time you enter the lobby. The reception staff were lovely and efficient. We enjoyed the lemonade while waiting on check in. The Concierge staff gets the highest marks! Our luggage was misdirected by Delta and Orla went beyond to help us obtain it before we departed for a cruise. Her service, kindness and help truly could have been no better. It was because of her dedication to helping us that we were able to enjoy the remainder of our trip and obtain our luggage. The breakfast provided was delicious - and the drinks and food in the bar were excellent. The service was also perfect. Our room was spacious and comfortable. While we didn’t have a view -we hope to next time! Since this stay was stressful due to our luggage situation created by Delta- we hope to return to the Shelbourne, soon.

I would describe our experience at the Shelbourne as a 10 in every way. It began with the great sevice from the tophated doorman who escorted us into the lobby. He proceeded to show us around by pointing out the dining room, bar, front desk and consierge. The front desk staff at check in were quite welcoming and warm. Our suite was over the top beautiful with an enormous living room and a marble bathroom. The bedroom included plush bathrobes and slippers. The room also had a very nice view of St. Stephens Green across the street. The consierge was quite helpful by arranging a tour of Guiness at the last minute. He also made an excellent dinner suggestion for a pub nearby with music. We found the No.27 bar quite lovely for an afternoon cocktail before an evening out. The breakfast buffet was spectacular with an extensive variety of offerings. This was a great way to start our day in Dublin. The Shelbourne is Irish Elegance at it's best.

Sometimes you do get what you pay for - pricey but wonderful. The main bar No. 27, is popular and service is great, but it was too loud and busy for me. However the Terrace upstairs and the Horseshoe bars were both lovely, quiet and relaxing. Great pool and spa, and the hotel finish is lovely, all green marble and gilt trimmings. Door staff very helpful and friendly. We had a very nice lunch in No. 27, and 2 wonderful meals in the Saddle Room restaurant. The location is great - a bit quieter, right next to St Stephen's park, but you can easily walk to the lively Temple Bar area and Grafton Street. I hope we can visit again someday.

What can you say about The Shelbourne that hasnt already been said ? Excellent location, excellent staff, friendly, helpful. Everybody smiling. We stayed between Christmas and New Year so it did feel a little extra Magic. The bar is one of the best bars in Dublin, and we had food and drinks on our first night which was perfect and highly recommended. The breakfast is amazing ! Our room was luxurious and comfortable. Looking forward to staying again.

Made prior requests for a bright and/or, quiet cool, spacious room and I wasn't disappointed. I stayed in the Blue Room. The bed was super comfy. The room had a modern TV with Netflix and YouTube,. The shower was big with a rainforest style shower head. The bathroom was large with a bright mirror for getting ready. Plenty of toiletries provided which was greatly appreciated, as well as ample tea and coffee facilities. I really enjoyed having a fan in the room aswell to keep me cool.

We stayed four nights in all at Bardons - on arrival for the first night in Ireland, we were in the White Room, and for three nights in the Grey Room, two weeks later, just before leaving. Both rooms were tastefully furnished and had tea/coffee making facilities. Bathrooms were very clean and modern. The Grey Room was more spacious and quieter being at the top of the building, and the Bar staff helped us up there with the luggage, which was very welcome. Room service was done every day to a high standard. We did not need to use the bar restaurant but I understand that the food is very good there.

It was conveniently located right in the Main Street of Kilcullen. Easy to find and get around. The whole look and feel of the pub and the hotel part were extremely authentic with a modern twist. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and boutique like. Friendly staff and great coffee making facilities with a Nespresso coffee maker. We absolutely loved it. Thank you for your hospitality.

Lovely cosy room was just myself for one night for work. Staff welcoming got me fresh water and carried my bag upstairs. Stayed in the ‘black and white’ room - the shower was like a rainforest shower with excellent pressure - lovely tea and coffee facilities - smart tv with Netflix if you like.

The property featured a fully stocked kitchen with all the necessary utensils for preparing breakfast. However, breakfast was not included in my booking. My room was cleaned regularly, and fresh towels were provided. There was also a charming lounge downstairs where guests could relax and enjoy a coffee. Parking was available at the back of the property, but as I often returned late, spaces were sometimes taken. However, Marie was incredibly kind and provided me with a daily parking ticket, allowing me to park conveniently in front of the property. Overall, Marie and her team's hospitality exceeded my expectations. Their warmth and attentiveness made my stay truly enjoyable. If I ever return to Dublin, this will undoubtedly be my first choice of accommodation—if available.

Great location with very convenient nearby public transportation links to Dublin city centre and walking distance to Rathgar, Terenure and Rathmines where there are plenty of very good restaurants and bars. The room was very clean and comfortable. The host was very friendly and helpful. There is no formal breakfast as such however there is use of a kitchen with a well stocked fridge and wonderful array of continental breakfast items to choose from. Nearby Foam Coffeehouse in Terenure, just a few minutes walk, is a lovely spot, excellent if you want for example a full irish breakfast.

Everything was amazing!! The place was so beautiful that I went back home reluctanty. The host is very friendly and extremely helpful, she even lent us some adapters for the phone charger. The room was very clean and cozy and the shower had marble tiles, which made it feel clean and luxurious. There is a small kitchen avaiable for the guests, but we never used it; however I noticed that cereal and fresh fruits were supplied. I loved that there were ubrellas you could take right next to the door, considering the Irish weather is pretty unpredictable. I also really liked the fact that the host arranged lots of brochures at the entrance that gave you a good overview of the activities that could be done around Dublin.

It’s close to shops and bars and on the bus route for the city and airport bus. The location is in a lovely tree lined residential street. I was looking out on to the back garden and could hear the birds singing which I love. There is lots of choice for help yourself breakfast, you can make yourself tea and coffee whenever and if you wish to cook there is an oven and hob. My room was comfortable, warm and clean Downstairs is a lovely comfortable lounge for you to use. All the staff I met were so helpful and friendly.

This was an excellent find for our family's one night stay in Dublin. The location is excellent with lots of supermarkets, restaurants and bus stops nearby. Free parking near the premesis. The guesthouse itself is a beautiful old property that is well maintained, with a clean fresh interior. The room has a small fridge, kettle, towels & hairdryer. Nice shower & clean, comfy bedsheets. The shared kitchen, although small, was very well stocked and had everything we needed for our young family. Anna was very welcoming on our arrival and we would be happy to return to this guesthouse again.

Breakfast was amazing! The bar in the evening was very nice and relaxing. Look for DIEGO, he usually works in the bar. He's a SUPER nice person and so helpful. He was one reason that made this hotel memorable for us. The food in the bar is delicious as well. In walking distance to pretty much everything. We walked to the Guinnes Storehouse. The only thing we drove to was the Gaol. I recommend taking a hop-on hop-off bus. The hotel booked this for us with a discount.

The Fitzwilliam is a Beautiful Hotel very close to Lovely St. Steven Park & Shops & Restaurants near Grafton Street. We were greeted by a friendly doorman & Garrett was very helpful at the front desk. Our room was very clean, comfy & modern. Our concierge, Marcin, was very helpful in getting us Riverdance tickets. Location was excellent. Within walking distance of lots of good restaurants in the town centre. We didn't bring the bikes this visit but there was a secure shed where we could have stored them. Breakfast was really nice - fresh brown soda bread , banana bead & tea bread. Fresh fruit , juice & cereal all available. My husband had special requests regarding what he could eat & this was not an issue for the hosts in the least - really appreciated this. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable so slept well. Shower was hot and strong - better than our own at home. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, gave us all the information we needed when we arrived and then left us to it- which is the way we like it. We will be back again ! Really enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely little guest house. The breakfast was amazing so much choice, fresh fruit, homemade bread, homemade cereal bars and the fry up made fresh to order. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Very close to the centre of town just a 5min walk away. Ample parking, lovely room with a sea view with no extra charge. Lovely quiet gardens. Would definitely recommend.

The friendliest service I have ever encountered. I was there for two nights and the room had been cleaned and was immaculate when I returned in the evening. The substantial dinner in the evening was fresh and tasty. I really recommend this place. However, be aware that breakfast is not served until 9.00am. I was on a business trip so had to leave well before then which was disappointing because the breakfast had great reviews and judging by the evening meal I imagine they were accurate. There is also no guest lounge and as a single woman walking into the bar it felt a little like stepping back into the 1970s. The old boys seemed a little startled to see a woman on her own and were rather keen to make friends! Having said that, the Guinness was of course delicious and if I hadn't been going into dinner I would have been very comfortable relaxing in my room. Overall, not to be missed and recommended.

We absolutely loved it. The building is gorgeous inside & out. We initially only booked this place for the beauty of the quaint restaurant below. But our room was great, the best combination of cozy & modern. The bathroom was freshly renovated, clean, and very large. The spacious shower was a blessing. We had a cute little balcony adorned with ivy. The room was much larger than I expected, and the bed comfortable. We had no time to turn on the huge flatscreen. But there was so much room for sitting & storing our stuff. The restaurant was wonderful, the staff polite & friendly, the food to die for. I was pleasantly surprised to find vegan options. The vegetable curry was delicious (and to my request, not spicy). We would definitely stay here again. In fact, I might just travel to Irland to stay in this wonderful place for a week or two as a retreat.

The Inn was so rustic, pictures do not do it justice. The rooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms were modern and clean. Loved the in floor heating! Coffee and tea provided in the room. The service staff, Meagan, Sarah and Kiera were super friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast and dinner there both times. The food was plentiful and delicious. The pub was a great place to enjoy an after dinner drink. It's only a 10 minute drive to Waterford and well worth a stay.

The hotel is off the beaten path outside of Waterford. The location is convenient off the freeway. The room was spacious and modern, which was surprising considering the building itself appeared quite old. The bed was comfortable and the room relatively quiet despite the party in the restaurant downstairs. The bathroom had a heated floor and great water pressure. The staff was very accommodating, the parking lot has security cameras and the inn, as our first stay of 11 different locations, set the standard for the rest of our two week trip around Ireland and Northern Ireland. The food in the restaurant, both dinner and breakfast were also among the best we had in the two weeks.

1h 45min from Dublin down the motorway is this little Jem of an establishment. Its a few hundred meters off the motorway exit. The rooms are spotless, the staff were lovely and the food was excellent in the bar. The restaurant was busy with families having their dinner which is always a good sign. From the hotel we explored the countryside, went into Waterford, got the little car ferry at Ballyhack and went down to Tramore for fish and chips. A really lovely day. Rooms were spotless, warm and comfortable. The bar was lively, the toilets were spotless in the bar too.

My husband and I went to Ireland to celebrate a milestone anniversary. We stayed at the Conrad Dublin for two days. When we arrived at the Conrad, we were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff that made us feel very welcome! We were very happy to hear that our room had been upgraded as my husband is a Hilton Honors Gold member. The room was very comfortable and had a nice city view. We had complimentary chocolates as a gift for our anniversary which was a very thoughtful gesture. As the heat wasn’t turned on in the hotel yet (apparently it was the tail end of summer and only air conditioning was working), a very helpful maintenance worker found us a small room heater as it had become chilly. Foodwise, we were so amazed to see such an extensive breakfast buffet with a fresh, delicious selection! We could also order from the a la carte breakfast menu. We ended up having a huge breakfast every day and then dinner in the evening. We also enjoyed talking to the restaurant staff as they were very personable. The knowledgeable concierge helped us with booking the hop-on hop-off bus tour. We explored St. Stephen’s Green and went to the mall nearby. For dinner, I ordered room service while my husband ordered from the Indian restaurant nearby. It was a wonderful stay! I highly recommend the Conrad if you are in Dublin and looking for a very comfortable stay in a luxury hotel with exceptional service! Thank you.

Conrad Dublin exceeded my expectations in every way. The highlight of my stay was definitely the restaurant and bar. The breakfast buffet was exceptional — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. Dinner was equally impressive, with creative dishes that blended local flavors and international influences. The bar had a warm, inviting atmosphere and an excellent selection of wines, cocktails, and local beers. I especially enjoyed chatting with the bartender, who was not only knowledgeable but also genuinely friendly. Speaking of friendliness, the entire staff was outstanding. From housekeeping to the concierge, everyone seemed genuinely happy to help, always greeting guests with a smile and going the extra mile. It felt like they truly cared about making each guest’s experience special. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The hotel’s central location also made it easy to explore Dublin’s attractions without hassle. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service, Conrad Dublin is a top choice.

We stayed at Conrad Dublin for a few nights as a couple and really enjoyed it. The check-in was quick and easy, and the staff at the front desk were very friendly. They gave us a few tips about things to do nearby, which was nice. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. We also loved the big windows that let in a lot of daylight. The bathroom was modern, with good water pressure in the shower and nice toiletries. The location couldn’t have been better for us. It’s just a short walk to St. Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street, and lots of cafes and restaurants. We could explore most places on foot, which made the trip even more relaxing. At night, the area felt safe and quiet, so we slept really well. Overall, we had a great experience here. It’s a beautiful hotel with great service, a comfy room, and a location that makes exploring Dublin so easy. We would happily stay here again on our next visit. Thanks so much to all staff!)

I stayed at the Conrad Dublin during September/October for almost 4 weeks in room 606. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance to shops & restaurants, taxi from the airport takes about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. The room is clean, bed is comfortable, shower is powerful and the breakfast was good albeit the restaurant is a bit small. The staff were very friendly and helpful, talking about staff, I would like to thank Nikoleta, Alejandro and Eliza from the front office for their great help during my stay, I would like also like to thank Mia, Adama, Luana & Rosemary for looking after me at breakfast, and finally Danialla from housekeeping (turndown service) and the lady who cleaned my room daily but sadly I didn’t catch her name, big thanks to you all and other members of the hotel staff who looked after me during my long stay. The only disappointment with this hotel is that it doesn’t have an executive lounge nor a swimming pool!

My husband and I stayed here at the tail-end of an 8 day Ireland holiday trip. I love this hotel. I really appreciate the consistency of the Conrad properties across the globe - we've never been disappointed with this brand. The hotel is clean, updated, and beautiful. The rooms were well-equipped and comfortable, and the decor was nicely curated. The staff was extremely professional and accommodating, both at the hotel and in the bar/restaurant, and we felt appreciated throughout our stay. We enjoyed the bar both nights and again felt the staff was great, and the cocktails were perfect. The hotel is mostly walkable - it's a bit south of some tourist destinations, but we appreciated the location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Had a lovely lady the next night when we went in for drinks. The staff at the breakfast in the morning where not overly helpful and never brought us coffee the first day. Had to ask the manager after 3 failed attempts to get some. He was amazing and checked on us the next morning to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall we loved our stay. I mean, it's a castle!! Our room was nice and quiet, we asked for robes and feather pillows which were brought up right away. Our room was made while we were at breakfast. We took our hotel given waters with us to head out for the day. Once we returned, we found fresh waters had been resupplied. We would definitely go back. ITS a CASTLE after all.

It was the perfect location close to airport and Dublin. Surrounded by gardens it was an oasis. Love the history of the castle. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We stayed two days and our room was tided up while we were out. Very nice. We ate in the Knights Lounge both evenings and the food was delicious and no more expensive than other restaurants we ate at. We had the same server each time and Marta remembered us despite the crowds! The buffet breakfast was plentiful and good. The scones were particularly delicious. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful.

Contact Castle was such a gorgeous stop for us. My daughter and I totally enjoyed the hospitality and facilities offered. The staff are friendly and professional. The venue is so pretty and interesting, the room's decor paid great homage and respect to the castles original architecture which was a nice touch. The food was fabulous. The best food in all of our Irish travels. The breakfast buffet was abundant and fresh, the restaurant amazing and our night of room service did not disappoint. This venue is higher in price than my usual budget yet I felt it matched the experience and service offered.

Loved the medieval decor, the history of the Castle and the quiet. Staff were very friendly and professional . Food was very good in the bar and the room service was great, breakfast arrived hot. The bed was so comfortable, and the room was huge, we were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge as we eloped, and it made our time there so special. Little touches added to the room (wine and chocolates on arrival) were a lovely touch and a card of congratulations. There was also a nespresso machine in the room, so bring your pods from home! 😁

The Staff were very professional and courteous throughout the Hotel. The Service was great and we were made to feel very welcome. The Room was Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well presented. The Bed and pillows were very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast buffet was very well stocked with plenty of options and everything was delicious.

Facilities were fantastic, golf course walk & scenery, swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi. Evening entertainment suits all ages. Staff could not have been more helpful and attentive.

Room service excellent, food excellent. Room very comfortable, facilities excellent including pool and jacuzzi and steam room.

This is our favourite hotel, and this visit was as fantastic as always. Our room was spotless, comfortable and beautiful views. Amazing bathroom with jacuzzi bath. We dined in the restaurant and the food was 5***** as always. Staff were aware it was our Anniversary and surprised us with a nice Happy Anniversary dessert. All members of staff are polite, helpful and always happy to chat, can’t praise them all enough. The gardens speak for themselves, beautiful location.

Everything. The hotel is beautiful,from the moment you walk in with it's lobby and marble staircase to the grounds and golf course ,the room was huge and lovely with a great view overlooking the golf course. We were there for a birthday and ate in the restaurant,the food so tasty and so was the full Irish breakfast the next morning. I used the pool,steam room and jacuzzi,there is a gym but preferred to go for a gentle walk around the grounds. The staff always smiling and welcoming. .Cant wait to go back again.

Having recently stayed there for a wedding I decided to stay again for a weekend away. Unforeseen circumstances the morning of the day we were meant to check in meant that I had to push out checking in to the next day. I can not emphasise how accommodating, understanding, and professional the staff on reception were, in particular Cora. When we eventually did check in, we had the most beautiful room overlooking the courtyard garden. The room was so quiet, spotlessly clean with the most comfortable bed. After checking in, we had two steak dinners in the bar. I thought both the dinner and dessert menu had a great selection of different dishes. Both our steaks were cooked to absolute perfection, and we finished dinner off with two delicious desserts. The following morning, I had the eggs benedict off the menu for breakfast but you could also help yourself to a generous and varied buffet. Both at dinner and breakfast the service from staff was very prompt and attentive. I can not rate the food any better either at dinner or breakfast. Top class.

We had a 2 night stay here lately Monday night and Tuesday night. Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful receptionist. The room was large with a king-size bed. Tv, hairdryer, tea and coffee plus 2 bottles of water on the table. Good size bathroom with walk in shower. We had dinner both nights in the bar. To say the food was amazing is a under statement. The food was really really good and tasty. The bar staff were very nice and friendly and made us feel like locals. Very relaxing atmosphere in the bar. The breakfast was also very nice and there was plenty of choice. Again very friendly staff at breakfast.

We stayed on two occasions recently Im pleased to say we enjoyed our stay so much. I'm compelled to write this review and give this class hotel 6 stars. On our first stay, the check-in staff were so accommodating with us checking in late. The fountain and mood lighting on approach from the carpark were outstanding and certainly very welcoming. The rooms we stayed in on both occasions seemed to be recently renovated and beautifully appointed. Next morning, we were treated to an outstanding array for breakfast with a great selection of continental breakfast from cereals to fruits to pastries teas and coffees. Not to mention the sumptuous hot breakfast served as per your order from the kitchen. I would strongly recommend anyone visiting Cavan to stay at this fantastic hotel that maintains exceptional hospitality standards. Standards of Old.

Food in the restaurant was lovely and breakfast was one of the best we have had with so much choice. Pool was lovely but Jacuzzi was not very warm. Overall a great stay would recommend.

The deluxe double room in the Tower was very roomy, with a floor to ceiling corner window so it was very bright. Comfortable armchairs and side table. Mini fridge, iron ironing board, hairdryer, white towling bathrobes. Kettle and coffee machine. Small pool, which is adult only from 7-9pm. Jacuzzi, excellent gym. Very friendly staff, especially Izzy our porter. He was great fun! Breakfast from 7-11 am, buffet and very good. Free car parking which is in the shopping centre. You can get a lift directly from the shopping centre to the hotel and it's easy to find.

Thé Sheraton is a most friendly hotel in an ideal location with excellent parking facitilies. The pool is spotless and has a great jacuzzi and sauna/steam room. Thé spa is very welcoming. Bar area is lovely and great service and food. We stayed in a tower room which had a panoramic view of Athlone. We have stayed here often and will be returning.

Just back from a night at the Sheraton I go every year with my mum room was lovely bar food was excellent and staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful! Leisure centre needs an upgrade and jacuzzi was lukewarm would have loved the temperature much higher! Location is just amazing see you next year!

The Sheraton Athlone is by far the best hotel in the country. Located in central Athlone a town that has been transformed over the past 15 years to become a destination of choice for visitors. The hotel is located in the same complex as a shopping centre/mall with ample parking. The hotel itself and the tower rooms offer a fantastic view of the quaint train station and Lough Ree from the huge panaromic windows - we were on the 10th floor! The room itself was fabulous for our stay, with king bed, jacuzzi bath, double shower and sofa and arm chairs and complementary bottle of wine awaiting us on arrival. The service at reception, on the breakfast room (probably the best hotel breakfast in the country) the bar always exceeds expectations at the Sheraton Athlone and the greetings and welcome from all room cleaning staff, gym staff and all hotel staff made us feel so welcome. The pool and gym facilities top off a wonderful destination. Finally after checkout we were informed that we had complementary all day parking enabling us to relax, enjoy lunch in the bar and one final stroll before heading for home. The town itself has so much to enjoy: Seáns Bar, Maisies, Beans and Leaves ... Stores including Allens on Church Street and the shopping mall are all worth a look. The new stylish pedestrian bridge starting point for the miles and miles of greenway, the sports facility and the proximity of Coosan point and Lough Ree make the town a sporting hub.
