The location is great, except for the comment below. The room was grand, well appointed. Had two large sofas and a King size bed. Ozi really helped us and took really good care of us. We even had a meal at the restaurant, only because Ozi was caring and persuasive. There was some issue in the jacuzzi and again she took care of it. Great service! She also helped us navigate around the place.

Beautiful property with lovely outdoor terrace for dining. Our attic room spacious for family of four. Short 1 mile walk to P3 park entrance. Ivan, property manager provided perfect directions for park hikes. He kept us entertained with stories and lore of the Balkans. Both dinner and breakfast were fresh and delicious. Many coffee options, including special Turkish coffee! Staff were so friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend this stay!

From the moment we arrived, Igor and Jasmine went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure our family had a wonderful experience. Their hospitality is truly exceptional. They were incredibly helpful in guiding us through the area, sharing their extensive knowledge of the surroundings and the best routes through the Plitvice National Park which is just a short 15-minute walk away. Their tips made our visit even more special. The rooms are spotless, modern, and equipped with everything you could need — a perfect blend of comfort and style. The setting is simply breathtaking, surrounded by nature and peaceful views. One of the highlights of our stay was the food. Everything is fresh, delicious, and prepared with love. They grow many of their vegetables in their own garden, and you can really taste the difference. Breakfast was generous and varied, and they were more than happy to accommodate any special requests. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay while visiting Plitvice. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!

We had the absolute best stay! The service was above and beyond, so friendly and helpful. Ozi was sweet and funny, and the manager gave us fabulous tips for the park. Breakfast was amazing with tons of options, including gluten free. Dinner had several flexible options and both dinners we had were fantastic. The rooms were immaculate, bathroom spacious, and the beds firm and comfortable (amazing pillows!) We highly recommend this adorable, accommodating, well-appointed B&B. Side note: it’s a bit off the beaten path in a good way; you will feel like you’re driving into a farm/residential area, but don’t be scared. It’s totally worth it. Keep going! There will be a sign at property entrance. Google directions are trustworthy, even when you think they’re not 😁And a very relaxing atmosphere after a day full of crowds, crowds, crowds at the park. Our stay at Plitvice Falls Cottage was absolutely amazing! The hosts were true gems, offering helpful advice on walks and tips for visiting the park. The meals served on-site were delicious, and we loved the self-service setup for drinks, coffee, cake, and fresh fruit – a really nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, perfect after a long day of walking, and soaking in the bath afterward felt like pure luxury. The courtyard and outdoor spaces were beautiful and peaceful. A must-try is the homemade cherry liqueur made by Dominic's grandma – it was fantastic! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would highly highly recommend this place.

Everything. The room was very comfortable and close to the main building where the restaurant and terrace are located. The setting is perfect, it is in a forested area close to the entrance to the Plitvice Lakes. I was met at reception by Daria who was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about the area and nothing seemed to be too much trouble for her, she is a credit to the Grand Lakes Rooms. That evening I was served dinner by Goran and he too was a consummate professional and most attentive, not just to me but to the other guests also. He served me again at breakfast and I saw Daria again who was once again, helpful and attentive. These two people ensured that my stay was relaxing and happy experience. My thanks to both of them.

Truly a hidden gem nestled at the foot of lush, tranquil rolling hills! Less than 10 minutes from Plitvice Lakes National Park. The concierge was so friendly and welcoming, walking us right to our room and chatting with us about our trip along the way and our receptionist was also very kind and warm. The interior of our room & washroom was absolutely STUNNING! Beautifully renovated with extra special touches like a rainwater shower head and spacious rooms make this a great place to relax and recharge in a quiet, peaceful setting. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with lots of variety. Can't say enough good things about this place!

Charming Alpine lodge, with forest views. The room was spacious and clean, large comfortable king bed with a lovely big bathroom. Ideally located a short drive to the entrance of Plitvička Lakes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of fresh healthy food for breakfast.

Breakfast was yummy, but no much choice to pick from. Maybe because it is low season still. Room was very nice, view from balcony also.. Bathroom super nice with headshower, and very big for that room actually. Pool and jacuzzi - we spent most time there🤣 Jacuzzi is super warm, indoor pool is ok temperature, other pool on the outside was cold but other people were taking swimm there, the brave ones 😂 we preffered taking a walk to center (15-20min), and the walk by the sea is super nice! Staff is also super nice!

Excelent location, on city limits, hills, quiet area, spectacular sea view, 10 min walk to restaurants. Generous parking spots. Modern, spotless clean rooms, excelent lighting, comfortable beds. Excelent breakfast. Charming pool area with enough beds and shade. Real professionals on reception restaurant and cleaning, eficient, helpful, friendly at all times. Everything very good.

Great hotel with superb staff and facilities. Top location, wonderful view, great pool area, great wellness center...all out enjoyable, relaxing. Staff is there, but never in the way, always kind and helpful. Room cozy, spacious, balcony with sea view very roomy. Bathroom big and cozy. We had everything we needed in the room and across the hotel. On the last day they let us enjoy pool facilities for the rest of the day, it was very nice. Thank you very much for a great stay.

Located in a quiet part of Gospić, but still close to the main road, shops and everything else you might need. New and cosy furniture, spotlessly clean, very friendly and helpful hosts. Will definitely be coming back.

It is a new, clean house with all amenities. Hoster is very friendly. Unfortunately, I can't give more than 10 points which is even less. It is more comfortable and clean than even some 4-5 star hotels. Highly recommended.

We liked everything! The apartment was very spacious, clean, warm and amazing! The host was very friendly and made us feel like we were home. The evening was made even better with lots of snow in the whole town of Gospic!

Exceptional apartment- spacious and modern. We appreciated that the heaters were on when we arrived. Extra touches -chocolate , water and a cocktail drink.

Fantastic place, we stayed there while it was snowing. It was magical! Jacuzzi was hot snow was cold, it was perfect! Staff were amazing, they even cleaned our car from the snow.

Room that we got was very comfortable,very cozy,the first one that we booked was under repairs so upon our check in, a really friendly reception named Anes introduced us to our new room with the hydromassage tub. The staff is doing their best,they will do everything in their power to indulge your wishes. Location of the hotel is so near entrance no.3 of Plitvička jezera national park,so it's really practical to get there on foot (to avoid all the parking mess). This place is magical when it's snowing,so I deeply recomend to go during the snowy times. We were here for 4 days,and 3 nights. The bed is a bit too soft and creaked in the middle,but I guess I'm used to harder matress. Dogs are allowed,so that is a big plus,we brought our pet with us and we were all together,enjoying our time . Two things that I have to criticise,are the hotel restaurant, and the spa area. The prices are too high when it comes to simple math. I mean,breakfast is awesome,but so is every buffet type,all you can eat and lots of food. Staff super super professional,and really pleasant.Also,pets are allowed in the restaurant. We were there for lunch and dinner ,costs a lot and it isn't even near the expected for that amount . In the spa,a lady that works in wellness was really friendly,as all the staff in the complex. But again,the prices are extremely expensive,so we didn't even thought of using the wellnes area.

Unfortunately, we arrived very late and stayed only for one night but oh boy, I wish we stayed longer. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, they upgraded our room with a jakuzzi on the terrace, already heated up for us by we arrived. The room was clean, comfortable, it’s in general a very calm place in the middle of the forest, very very close to one of the less popular entrances of the Plitvice lakes. The breakfast was tasty and planty. There’s a small zoo in the garden, that I did not know about and I was happy to discover some animals in the morning. I wish we stayed longer. This hotel is a dream if you’re looking for a calm, comfy place close to nature and the Plitvice lakes.

Lakeside Hotel Plitvice offers a great location with spacious, well-equipped rooms and attention to detail throughout. Guests can enjoy a variety of leisure facilities including table tennis, darts, and billiards, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The hotel also features many cozy corners ideal for quality time, complemented by friendly and helpful staff. What I didn’t like was the restaurant, which felt heavily overpriced for the quality it offered—the menu was limited and the food was just average, clearly relying on the prime location rather than culinary value. Our room included a kitchen, but strangely, it lacked even basic equipment like plates, cutlery, or simple utensils. Breakfast was fair but unremarkable, and while the location is indeed special, the overall experience felt somewhat overpriced. Additionally, we were unexpectedly out of water for some time in the evening as the pressure was completely gone.

The reception manager Anes was very detailed at the check in, very fun and helpful. Room was very spacious, clean and we had everything we needed. The location of facilities is little bit isolated, but very peaceful and you have everything you need. Huge shout out to the hotel manager who made us feel very comfortable and pleasant for our short stay.

A very personal service given by Camilla and Brian, very friendly and gave useful information regarding the lakes, they were easy to contact if you needed anything, hottub was fabulous, breakfast cooked just how you wanted too. A very lovely couple, a definite asset to the hotel. Thank you.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful 2 night stay at this lovely Inn. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious! For a smaller establishment I was surprised at all the buffet breakfast options and the fact that they offered fresh made eggs to your liking as well. The beds were comfortable too. I have to say that the absolute BEST thing about it is the location! It was fantastic to walk to a little known smaller entrance to the National Park. We didn't have to drive or pay for parking - just walked 5 minutes to the entrance. Priceless!

This room was beautiful- clean and luxurious. The garden was stunning and although there was an extra charge for hot tub use it was well worth it after a long hike around the lakes! This property was perfectly located right next to a 3rd entrance to the park - we were able to beat the crowds and got fabulous information from our hosts regarding a route to take to get the best views! Lots of other accommodation close by with restaurants to use for dinner. Breakfast was amazing, huge variation all delicious!

Camila and Brian were very kind and welcoming. The included breakfast was delicious with a lot of variety. The room was very very clean (and we are very particular about cleanliness) and so much lovely attention to details in the room decor and exterior of the B&B. The shower was also very clean and modern. And the location to get into the park couldn’t be any closer! We loved it here and would stay again. 10 out of 10.

The room was amazing. We liked the stone wall and the bath tub in the room was relaxing after a long day of hiking. The garden is nice too and the staff was amazing and very helpful. They cook eggs for breakfast however you like it and it tastes delicious 😋 also the tea is nice

Very nice location within 5 minutes walk from park entry 3. Just before the entrance already about 6 view points to see Plitvice Lakes and waterfalls from above for free. Nice restaurant with good food and jacuzzi on the location to use after long day walk.

The hotel is amazing, well looked after, very clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly, we even received an upgrade - a room with a hottub. Beautiful room, comfy bed, good bathroom, with all the things you would expect. Although strangely, there was no milk, considering there was a coffee maker. The location is great too, within short walking distance of Plitvice entrance 3.

We had a wonderful stay at the Ethno Houses near Plitvice Lakes as a family of six. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Despite our early 6 AM departure, they thoughtfully prepared a delicious take-away lunch package for all of us. The rooms were very clean, smelled fresh, and we enjoyed having two comfortable connecting rooms. I also needed a safe place to store my mountain bikes, and the team kindly stored them securely in the wine bar, which gave me great peace of mind. Highly recommended for families and anyone visiting Plitvice! The food in the restaurant was also very good, we had lunch and dinner.

We had an unforgettable stay at Ethno Houses during the winter! The snowy surroundings were like something out of a fairytale, and the cosy atmosphere of the property made it the perfect retreat from the cold. The room was warm, clean, and beautifully designed, with thoughtful touches . Waking up to breathtaking views of snow-covered landscapes was an absolute highlight. The staff were amazing, always ensuring we were comfortable and offering great tips for enjoying the winter activities nearby, especially the sledge for the kids and the kids area, which were an add-on. The kids also loved the small farm, especially the cute pony :) After a day in the snow, it was such a treat to come back and enjoy activities such as table tennis. It was truly a magical winter escape, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a cosy, snowy getaway!" Thank you once again!

The location was great and very close to an entrance to the park. The staff member who checked us in was so friendly and helpful, and he assisted us many times throughout our stay in different areas. He really went above and beyond and made us feel welcome. They had plenty of parking, and the room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable. We got massages and used the sauna, and it was seriously one of the best massages I've ever had. The hotel grounds have tons of recreational and entertainment options, and this would be a great place to stay for families with kids. The on-site dinner restaurant was really convenient.

We came by bicycles and they offered us a safe storage and even a breakfast. The aparment was clean and cosy, everything was perfect.
