The house is wonderful and it is really nice to havr your own privacy in the room, but be able to share time and talks with the nice owner and other guests in the kitchen or garden. We did not try the jacuzzi but is looked great! The room and bathroom were modern and comfortable

Private parking!! Friendly owner who offered welcome beers for us and ice creams for the children. The mattress was so comfortable as well as the pillows. Huge TV in the room with Netflix set up in our language. There was a jacuzzi in the back yard!!

This place is absolutely spotless and wonderfully comfortable. It's an easy stroll into old town, with the added bonus of parking facilities. The sauna was incredible, the room delightfully cozy, and the bed exceptionally comfortable. The staff? Simply amazing—super helpful and genuinely kind. I accidentally left some belongings behind, and they went above and beyond by helping me arrange a courier service to the UK. They even called me personally to ensure everything was sorted. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly and will most certainly stay here again!

I really liked these apartments! I was especially surprised (in a good way) by the presence of a sauna — it turned out to be perfect on a chilly day. I’ve never seen a sauna in an apartment before, and it was exactly what I needed. The kitchen had everything necessary for cooking, the bed was quite comfortable, and there was a TV — overall, everything was great. It was very quiet, even though the apartment is located in a loft-style building. I also appreciated the convenient location — fairly close to the city center. I definitely recommend these apartments!

Located in a nice, quiet area near the city center. There are plenty of parking spots, which is always a bonus — especially since the place is somewhat hidden, so you don’t have to worry about anyone breaking in or worse, particularly when traveling by motorcycle. Very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Highly recommended!

LOVED the apartment. Super clean, spacious, comfortable, very comfortable bed (i like a mattress that is not too soft, good for people with back pain), kitchen well equipped shower is clean with plenty of hot water. Klara was perfect in anything i needed from questions and requests before my arrival, through arranging early check in, and communication throughout my stay. I take online classes and wifi worked well for them. I will definitely recommend it to others for staying here.

The Location was just right - 15-20 Min by foot from innercity and quiet. The terrace (it was more like a wintergarden) was really cozy for hanging out at the apartment. The bathroom and the furnishings were modern and clean. And the parking lot and shopping opportunities for groceries were very practical.

A truly wonderful stay! Our entire experience at the hotel was absolutely lovely. We arrived tired after a long journey and were so grateful for the smooth, welcoming, and easy stay. From the moment of booking until after our departure, the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and responsive — almost magical in how caring they were. Check-in and check-out were effortless thanks to clear instructions, and the rooms were exceptionally comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed. Every detail felt thoughtfully taken care of. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. It truly stole our hearts — our love is with this place!

Great location, 15 min easy walk to the center through Tivoli park. Free parking. Right on the market where you can have a great cup of coffee and buy fresh fruit and vegetables. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and clean. Easy communication with the host. Over all great experience.

We stayed in one of the attic studio apartments which we really liked. Bed was big and comfortable. There were various coffees/teas including decaf option and even Milka hot chocolate pods for the coffee machine. The house is gated with free parking available inside, which we found very convenient given we were travelling by car. The area felt very safe, with good restaurants close by. Walking distance to the river and attractions. Induction stove and dishwasher, good-sized table with chairs for having home-cooked dinner. The house in general is welcoming and nicely decorated.

I recently stayed at Villa Selena and had a wonderful experience. The villa exudes a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff, especially Ana, were incredibly hospitable. Its proximity to the city center makes it ideal for exploring local attractions and dining options, yet it remains a peaceful retreat. The rooms are modern, clean, and feature very comfortable beds. I highly recommend Villa Selena for its superb location, friendly service, and excellent accommodations. Whether visiting for business or leisure, it’s a perfect choice.

Room is very clean and comfortable. The staff is nice, responsive, and very helpful. Room is well-equipped and quiet. The building is very safe and key card is needed to access the area, the building and the room. The location is near main bus / train station surrounded by luxury hotels, supermarkets, restaurants, etc., and in a walking distance to the main square and other attractions.

The studio apartment was beautiful and felt extremely luxurious, everything inside was modern and in perfect condition. It was generously stocked with coffee, tea, sugar, toiletries etc. The check in was easy and Ana was very kind and communicative. The location was great - central and convenient for the train/ bus station but also peaceful, private and secure. We would definitely book here again.

Calm place to stay in the center of Ljubljana. Very clean and tidy, fully equipped, spacious, comfortable. Ana was friendly and polite. It is near the city center, just 10-15 min walk, surrounded by bars and restaurants. Private parking place. We loved Vila Selena.

And the location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Ljubljana’s charming old town, steps from everything but still peaceful and serene. Zlata Ladjica is a rare gem. My son and I stayed at Zlata Ladjica for 5 days and we wish it could have been more. From the moment we checked in and enjoyed a welcome drink on their outdoor patio to when we checked out and one of the staff members walked with us to our rental car, we loved every minute. We were quite sad to leave! The story behind each room is delightful and the rooms themselves are clean, well laid out, quiet and super comfortable. Without a doubt, this is the best coffee set-up I have ever seen in any hotel: a high-end coffee maker with beans (no pods!) as well as a number of herbal teas and sugars. I am embarrassed to say how many coffees I made myself in the room every day with such delicious freshly ground coffee beans. (A lot.) We enjoyed talking to every single staff member. They were personable, extraordinarily helpful and informative, friendly and fun. They consistently went out of their way to help. The location is perfect, the food and bar are top notch, and there are infinite little details to make the stay an A+++.

Amazing stay at this hotel. Perfect location right in the heart of downtown on the river. You can walk to everything. The city is so clean and fun too. The staff goes above and beyond to help with anything. Everyone working was so friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and comfy and ours had wonderful views. The breakfast is hearty and good, keeping us full until dinner. We highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for 4 nights, our experience was excellent. Zlata Ladjica hotel is located at beautiful old town - pedestrian only. So ask them to arrange for pickup services. The room is comfortable though not large, with a river view terrace. The staff was accommodating and pleasant. They prepared us breakfast boxes for our early day trip of Bled and Vintgar Gorge. The highlight is always Breakfast. Restaurant and bar area always a treat. Don’t forget to have a dinner there. Ask them to recommend the dining places, won’t be disappointed. Pleasant, high quality and non-intrusive. 100% recommend to stay in luxury Zlata Ladjica Hotel.

Location is perfect. Staff is very kind and helpful. The lobby bar is stocked with a great selection of beers and wines. Our little balcony and the view from the room facing the Ljubljanica river was great. The coffee machine in the room is the best I have seen in a hotel room(grinds coffee on the go!) Also the cosy spa that can be booked privately(having the sauna, steam room and relaxing waterbed) is a huge plus, especially after a long day of walking around the city. And to top all of this they pay attention to every detail for sustainability. I wish I had stayed longer.

We felt like we were checking into an extremely high end luxury hotel when we entered the premises and every small detail confirmed that initial feeling. All staff worked so very hard to make our stay enjoyable. They were very welcoming, professional, and helpful. We used this hotel as a base camp for exploring Slovenia. All three rooms we stayed in were very quiet and clean with comfortable beds and updated everything with top of the line fixtures. Breakfast is exemplary with a coffee carafe (not a machine!!) and hand made coffee orders if requested. Location location location. Easy walk to Hbh. Roll out of bed and right into old town. Absolutely loved hotel heritage and so will you

Lovely, comfortable and quiet hotel. Our room had a very comfortable bed and felt like a suite rather than a room. The breakfast was excellent - delicious range of choices available. The staff were helpful and friendly. Central but so quiet. A very relaxing and enjoyable place to stay and to use as a base to explore an accessible city.

I don’t think there’s a better location on Ljubljana’s river. We were here for a few days and everyone was super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast with fun bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. Rooms are cozy and up-to-date with comfy bed and L’Occitane toiletries.

The staff was friendly and helpful, in particular navigating transfers into and from the pedestrian only zone. Our room on the 4th floor was spacious, very well decorated with large beams and window nooks--but also clean and modern. Thoughtful details are present like a coat rack for the room. The breakfast was stellar with tasty and non-generic items. The location is excellent, just off the Cobbler's Bridge, yet separated by a quarter-block, keeping it a little more quiet.

This is a perfect hotel for exploring Ljubljana with their location next to the river in Old Town. You have access to an incredible amount of restaurants and bars just outside your front door. The rooms are lovely with beautiful bathrooms, and also very quiet with no sounds from outside. Breakfast was superb, and all staff was very helpful and attentive. I can highly recommend this hotel for your stay in beautiful Ljubljana.
