The room and the bathroom were spacious. While the furniture may look old school, it was very well-maintained and very clean. The room is equipped with a mini kitchen, although we can’t find any kitchen equipment. Maybe you can request it from the receptionist. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious. We noticed it was always packed at dinner time during our weekend stay. The breakfast buffet is amazing, a lot of choices and also some different homemade stuff every day.

I had a lovely room with spacious bathroom in this very clean, we-run hotel. My room had a small refrigerator, cooktop and bar sink, and I loved the little patio off the bedroom. All of the staff members are wonderful - we especially commend Bishnu who was always very patient with our questions! The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection - something for everyone. One night our large group ate in the hotel restaurant and everything was absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed our time spent in the hotel Biergarten. Also, the hotel is located within easy walking distance to Meppen’s main square.

We were thrilled at the elegantly appointed room with such a lovely balcony and little touches like lights in the closet that automatically came on when one opened the doors. It was really a pleasant room and a wonderful stay. The breakfast is certainly 4-5 stars! Whether freshly baked gluten free bread, coffee selections and delicious juices, a wide array of meats, cheeses, warm and cold, healthy and tasty items - -the breakfast was indeed something to write home about!

This place totally gives off “Kellerman’s Resort” vibes from Dirty Dancing. Classic accommodation style. We were upgraded to a spacious suite with a balcony right above the pool — a fantastic surprise. Perfect for families! There’s always something to do: tennis, ping pong, a playground, catching baby frogs on the nature trail, swimming in the pool, working out in the gym, relaxing in the spa or sun room, and even berry picking in season. The breakfast was delicious, and there’s plenty of parking. It was the perfect two-day break on our drive back north to Denmark. Special thanks to the evening receptionist who checked us in — super friendly, clear, efficient, and helpful. Thank you! 🙏🏻

Hotel stop enroute to Denmark. We really liked that it had a playground and a pool to burn a bit of energy off for our daughter. It was a short turn off from the main roads but in a quiet location. It has a sauna and steam room plus a gym you can use, all included. Tennis courts are outside. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and for breakfast both times the meal was great and staff very friendly. Room was good with the sofa bed set up for my child. Room had lots of extra you don't see in modern hotels such as robes, slippers, sewing kit, flannels etc. They provided a free bottle of sparkling water too. If you're staying a bit longer there is a forest path from the hotel.

Cozy, interesting hotel, with large comfortable room, all very well set it for a family of four with a baby. Very beautiful and quiet environment delicious food for the dinner in the restaurant and breakfast as well. Great amenities.

The breakfast is excellent. Dinner was included but we went most of the time to the other nice restaurants on the island, however the hotel diner is good. We booked already for next year

The staff is very, very friendly and helpful. The location is as well very good. Everything is nearby, shops, restaurants and the beach is easy to reach, 10 mins walk. The hotel is in the center and easy to reach. 5 min from the Bus station. All bus lines are reachable here. My room had a view to the backyard and it was very quiet because of that, which I appreciated.

We have spontaneously decided to visit Norderney for 2 nights beginnig of June 2019. We chose this hotel according to its Tripadvisor rating. Everything in this hotel was nice, also the bar of the hotel. Personnel was very friendly and we got a nice room in the roof of the building. We slept with closed windows because the restaurants below where quite loud. Since the windows absorbed very well, this was no issue for us. Very positive was the very nice looking and well maintained breakfest buffet. You should be hungry in the morning!!!!

A true 4* experience. We were perfectly taken care of, including our little baby. 🍼 We had a very clean baby bed, including super cute bed linens and towels. 🍱 Breakfast was very rich. The staff made sure to make us feel very comfortable and took care of us and our baby. They even gave our baby a little snack! 🛌 The bed was awesome. Nothing to complain there. Our room also came with a HUGE balcony!

Amazing hotel. Situated right in the centre of town, free breakfast (inc sparkling wine) along with pool and sauna which were great for relaxing. Dinner at the hotel was also great and good value of 3 courses for €49. Very clean and modern the only criticism would be there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms in the main building therefore the rooms were very hot.

Very nice buildings, thoughtfully renovated and decorated. Spacious rooms. Very quiet. Restaurant, bar and spa & sauna are excellent. 5 mins from train station. I definitely recommend!

Highly recommended! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and way bigger than expected. Lastly the breakfast was execellent and absolutely amazing. Much better than I have had e.g. in other smaller chain hotels!

The hotel is very clean & our suite was very spacious. Breakfast was very good & my husband & daughter had fun in the pool. It is within walking distance to a beautiful park.

We really enjoyed our Christmas stay at this well-run, attractively renovated hotel. The staff were friendly and our room was very comfortable. The breakfast and evening meal buffets were of good quality and the table service (drinks only) friendly and attentive. The pool and spa areas were lovely, and a wide range of festive activities were also offered by the hotel. The only small downside was the lack of coffee and tea making facilities in the room, but that is often the case in German hotels.

Very friendly and helpful personnel. As cyclists we loved the location in the forest and beautiful paths, the Spa (Turkish bath in particular) to warm up and relax afterwards, the delicious fruits for breakfast, and the spacious room. We'll come back!

The hotel is in a good location beside the cable car station. The price I paid was incredible value for the quality of the facilities and food…the breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The four course dinner was very good quality although the portion size could perhaps have been a little larger after a day of hiking. Cake was also provided in the afternoon which unfortunately I missed out as I was out. I also appreciated the travel pass which saved me a lot of money for my bus journey home as well as a visit to nearby Goslar. I was also very impressed by the staff at mealtimes as well as the man at reception who was very welcoming.

Easy parking and excellent check-in, honestly probably the best hotel breakfast I've had in years not too extravagant but everything was there. Room was a good size with a decent shower and wasn't too noisy. Hosts were efficient and pleasant.

The suite was large and spacious. However, the refridge was not working. Front desk didn't seem concerned. No one repaired or replaced it the next day either. Staff wasn't the least bit concerned.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder. Das Personal war freundlich und ist unseren Anliegen und spontanen Wünschen sofort nachgekommen, sodass wir uns gut aufgehoben und informiert gefühlt haben. Auch das Ein- und Auschecken war unkompliziert, freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Vielen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal!

Nice hotel. It would have been better if i didnt have to work everyday. Great gym and spa. Great food in the restaurant and bar, the bar menu is a little limited, but fine for a quick informal bite to eat.

Very clean and nice staff. Breakfast is below standard. A good selection of foods but I do not think you should have to "slice" scrambled eggs like it is a cake. Attitude towards children is not nice....they should be seen and not heard. If you want to golf and have no kids and bring your own breakfast this hotel is not too bad!

Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Lüneburg, jedoch dadurch absolut ruhig. Durch das Wellness-Center mit den vielen Angeboten hat man viele Möglichkeiten - auch bei schlechterem Wetter und wenn nicht so mobil sein sollte. Das Hotel ist in jeder Hinsicht absolut sauber und der Service (Reinigung des Zimmers, im Restaurant oder an der Bar etc.) umfassend und in allen Bereichen sehr gut.

Erik and Jenny are wonderful hosts, the best I met in many years They fulfilled every request we had with a smile. We stayed there 5 nights and enjoyed every moment. The room was very big with a huge bathroom, one badroom and a living room. The breakfast was delicious with high quality products.This family hotel is a real gem in the Harz mountains. We'd definitely stay there again when we visit the area in the future.

Wir reisen viel, aber das beste Buffet kann diesen gedeckten Tisch nicht übertreffen. Abendessen sehr gut. Wunderschönes Ambiente in den Gasträumen. Alles sehr gepflegt und sauber. Personal und Chefin sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit, natürlich die Köche und Küchenpersonal nicht zu vergessen. Wir kommen sicher wieder vorbei, ein toller Ausgangspunkt um den Harz zu erkunden.

Nice and quiet spot and the Ms. Anne was amazing she really made me feel comfortable. The room was super nicely decorated, clean, and had all the furnishings you could ever possibly need. The bed was extremely comfortable I had two nights of wonderful sleep :) The parking is so convenient just a few steps to get to my room. From the hotel it is only a short walk to the hot springs through the lovely parks of Bad Bevensen and an even shorter walk to the Bad Bevensen pedestrian mall for cafes and whatnot :)

All the staff members were extremely friendly and helpful. The Restaurant Vital has a good selection of dishes. The food is freshly cooked so you needed wait for it. The hotel is ten minutes walk from the station. It is right next to the Kurpark, which is large, well maintained, peaceful and a pleasure to wander around. I would have liked to spend longer in Bad Bevensen

Vi havde bestilt et ophold med udsigt til søen. Men fik et til baggården. Der var bestilt med daglig rengøring, som ikke skete mens vi var der. Sengen blev redt. Rigtig sødt personale, og god morgen buffet. Dejlig gåtur rund om søen. Hyggelig lille by bagved hotellet.

Skønt hotel. Virkelig en perle, hvis man er til den hotel type. Flink personale, Det er som at træde ind i en tidslomme/et museum. Vi havde udsigt til "bagsiden" hvilket var lidt kedeligt, men pladsen i værelset overskyggede det.. Vi var der desværre kun en nat. Dejlig beliggenhed, med kun 5 minutters gang fra kabelbane og restauranter og barer.. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage til flere oplevelser i området.

The stay was just perfect. The room was amazing. Very comfortable and the personnel and the owner are doing everything they can to help and make the stay as perfect as possible. The breakfast was amazing. Everything you wish for was on the buffet incl. Prosecco for the one who like it in the morning and if not available just ask i.e. fried eggs. We also had dinner at the place which was also great. Fresh ingredients and not microwaved or deep fried. Try the salat with the smoked salmon 😊.

The place was absolutely perfect. So clean, so modern and so comfortable. I wish we had another night there. The restaurant and garden right next store was so convenient. Great easy checkin process.

I had a very pleasent stay at this hotel. It's quiet and peaceful. There are many options for nice walks around the property and not too far from other minor attractions. The food is also very good and sold for a reasonable price. I would also recommend the breakfast, since it's very good. I booked one night via booking.com and then ended up staying one more night.

I was there on a national holiday so no staff in reception to welcome me and the restaurant was closed so can't comment on dinner but breakfast was fine.

First impressions were excellent- rustic, relaxed but classy. Booked originally for its position on the way to Denmark but surprised ( nicely 👌) by the uniqueness of the room- a mix between modern and old timber barn. Complementary coffee fruit & chocs! We booked dinner (definitely advised!) and enjoyed a wide, splendid selection of traditional cooking- that was excellent! An early breakfast that was plentiful as it was varied. It included options for the vegetarian and allergic. A single night stay truly felt like we had spent a restful holiday before our true one began. (An additional note, the hotel lies next to a lake which has a walk around it so getting there early and exploring is a must.)
