This hotel is in a rural setting in the coastal town of Navia, several kilometers away from the shore. It has what appears to be the original building with a large restaurant and some hotel rooms plus a new, round building with more rooms above, a separate restaurant on the ground floor, and spa below. We had a room in the newer section which was a little small but entirely adequate, newly fitted, and comfortable. Convenient stop along the northern coast. Quiet, but a little isolated -- no restaurants in the immediate vicinity, so a drive to one if you don't eat at the hotel. Did not have dinner there, but breakfast was good, standard buffet. Easy parking. Would stay again.

We stayed at this property for two nights in the beautiful region of Asturias. It is a modern property away from the town of Navia. Our room was in the older section of the hotel; fair size room with extra space for luggage. Nice bathroom and good shower. The beds (two twin beds pushed together) were very hard and not very comfortable. Very good breakfast buffet with a good selection. Due to covid-19 safety precautions, the staff picked-up the breakfast items that we selected. Very nice pool. The following issues should be improved/corrected if management wishes to make it a better hotel. Eventually, covid-19 will be a thing of the past and tourists from all over the world will return. Consequently, at the price your hotel is charging, an effort should be made to employ additional English-speaking staff (especially at reception desk and at the breakfast/dining room). As I stated, very nice pool but the hotel should buy pads/cushions for the sunchairs (not that expensive). We were told by the reception that they did not exist at that hotel. The hotel should invest in more comfortable mattresses in the next purchase. Overall good but could be better for the price. Recommended.

We stopped off at this hotel whilst touring Northern Spain and enjoyed a comfortable overnight stay and an excellent meal. The hotel has comfortable well equipped rooms e.g. A small suite, 2 TV's, minibar, air conditioning etc. Not situated in the nicest of areas but convenient and easily accessible. The hotel also specialises as a spa, which we were unfortunately unable to try, but would be good for a 2-3 day relaxation session as well as an overnight stay. Plenty of parking, friendly helpful multi-lingual staff, bar/cafe with good menu, good breakfasts and excellent restaurant. Would happily recommend.

We spent one night here after a long drive from Santiago de Campostela along the coast in dreary weather. The unusually shaped room (#261) included a double bed, two night tables with good lighting, luggage rack, chair, stool, desk and chair. The closet included a small safe, 8 fake hangers, and drawers. There was a little "balcony" with a bench and no particular view. Bathroom amenities included a fancy shower with excellent hot water, vanity mirror, soaps, shampoos, comb, dental kit and razor. Wifi was very good. Parking outside was easy. Breakfast included fruits, eggs, cheeses, breads, and beverages. This seems to be a business person's type of hotel. We had a delightful dining experience at La Quintana, a very small restaurant in the fields nearby. Use a good GPS to find it! NOTE: we did not use the spa.

Very comfortable beds. Clean room. Food was good in the restaurant and then breakfast buffet was great. Pool was a good size. Staff were really nice. They let us store our bicycles in a staff room area. AC was good. We had a terrace room in the new section of hotel ... terrace was pleasant.

The rural location, close to Luarca is perfect. The owners are exceptional and having their taberna nearby was great, for coffee, food and a social drink.

Bedroom was immaculately presented and decorated to a high standard. Hosts were pleasant, willing and very amicable. Breakfast was simple but adequate for our needs.

Very comfortable accommodation with good facilities. Shared areas for sitting outside in the sun.

The property was in a little village. It was remote (not a lot of services) but only a short drive to the port area.

Quiet, comfortable, balcony to see the sunset. The lady at reception very welcoming. The dinning room area was very helpful as we were able to eat our tortilla from the bar there. Also a vending machine with snacks, drinks & beers. Shower was hot & bed was comfortable.

Room had a balcony where we could look upon the countryside and part of turn from our first level room. Folded lounge chairs were placed in closet for us to sit out on balcony. There was a dining room with coffee vending machine, microwave and toaster. Shower stall was modernized, with overhead rain shower heads as an option. Hostess was very friendly.

Large comfortable rooms with terrace and sea views. Very quiet location. Sara was super helpful and went out of her way to make our stay one of the most enjoyable along the Camino.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and far-reaching views from our own private balcony. Close to a bar - right on the Camino - that served breakfast from 06.00.

Excellent location for an overnight stay on the camino. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Dinner was delicious. It is the location and short walk to the cliff views and sunset that make this hotel exceptional.

Clean and very spacious room and bathroom. I had booked a single room and it had two single beds made separately pushed together. Bathroom had two hand basins, soap, shower gel, shampoo, towels and hair dryer provided. Had heating on during the night so it was nice and warm. I used the correo luggage transfer service to/from this place and that went well. The restaurant offers a 3 course menu of the day which had very generous portions at a reasonable price. Hotel is about a 400m detour off the Camino del Norte trail just as you are entering Cadavedo. Visiting the Ermita de La Regalina is a must. The church is tiny but it is only a further 400m flat walk (in the opposite direction from the camino) from the hotel and it has amazing views of the cliffs and beaches below. Wifi was good. TV in room was good. The room and location were quiet.

Warm and welcoming staff who went out of their way to help. Nothing was too much trouble. Really friendly and polite. They offer breakfast and also have a bar. Plenty of information in the reception about where to visit. The room was accessible by stairs or a lift. It was a good size, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. For the price we paid I wasn't expecting much but Hotel Rico was far beyond anything I could have hoped for. With a comfortable bed and pillows, a modern bathroom with waterfall shower, soft towels and toiletries. There is also a maid service everyday. The hotel is ideally placed to walk to restaurants, bars and the port. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend it to others.

The room was very tidy and clean. The bedroom was super comfortable, and the standards were great. The same applied to the bathroom, big shower, plenty of towels, a hairdryer, and very clean. The room has a balcony facing the square and city hall, so it was a lovely view. The hotel was very quiet and the owner was very nice.

Everything very clean, modern room and bathroom. The room skylight made the room nice and bright, and when the skylight shade was closed the room was nice and dark. Room had a mini fridge (with a small bottle of water) in the wardrobe. Spare blanket, jug, herbal teas provided. Towels, soap, shower gel and shampoo provided. I used the correos luggage transfer service which went well. Great location on the Camino del norte (about 3 blocks from tourist info centre and only a few hundred metres to rejoin the camino trail). Wifi and TV worked well. Hot shower with great water pressure. Room had a little desk and chair.

The lady at the reception was very welcoming. Modern and very clean facilities. Cold time of the year but the accomodation was very warm and comfortable. Amazing location both for the camino and town centre. Would definately go back again

This place was great, especially for a two star hotel! They had really thought out everything you need while traveling - lots of storage space, a little kitchenette with a refrigerator, a nice and modern shower, blackout shutters, and a comfortable bed. And the staff was really nice and friendly, which is always so refreshing.

The location of this small hotel allows you to explore Luarca by foot. We could park our car in front of the hotel entrance (end of May) Rooms are well equipped and comfortable. We did not have breakfast there since we were only for a night and left early for a coffee in town and a long walk up the hills for the views. Can definitely recommend.

What a beautiful town! And Hotel Baltico is in the best possible spot on the harbour! We're hiking the Camino but wanted to stay by the water, and couldn't have chosen a better, clean modern and comfortable place..the buffet breakfast for €6 was a bargain. Would love to re visit and WILL both Luaca and the hotel!

Great location, very friendly staff and good restaurant below. The staff really treat us like family. From serving the breakfast, lunch to providing umbrella. It is a family business, and the rooms have been renovated with great bathroom. The windows are great and the noises below don’t bother us. There is a beautiful garden behind and plants and flowers everywhere. The landlady has green thumbs and takes good care of them. Definitely recommend and will be back!

The guy attending us was super friendly and made sure we got a very nice, comfortable and big room to stay. The facilities were very tastefully decorated and seemed looked after. Also the night there was very quiet and we slept like babies. The same person prepared us our breakfast the next morning and it was absolutely delicious.

Marvelous place! Everything was beyond my expectations. Clean and relaxing that is exactly what I needed. At that price I saw nothing better. Very quiet place aside from touristic sites but everything is not far if you have a car. Excellent possibilities for hiking either in mountains or along the seaside. There are few good restaurants in 15min by car. I stayed at the hotel at the New year night and the owner brought wine and grape!

Was expecting only to spend a night in the small town of Navia on the Bay of Biscayne in Asturia. What a pleasant surprise to find a spacious room with a lovely view, hardwood floors, for a great low price! The staff could not have been more helpful -- when I left behind something in the room, I called from the highway and with my broken Spanish was able to determine that they had found what I had lost and stored in their hotel safe. The location is the Palacio Arias is right in the center of town, a lovely walk through a river front park and forest to the beach. Would strongly recommend it to travellers visiting the northwest coast of Spain. PS There was free wifi in the room as well!

Hotel was a convenient stop for us on a drive across the top of Spain - we had struggled for affordable accommodation. This hotel fitted our needs well, although the town itself was small and did not appear to offer much for visitors. Room was clean, wifi was free as was on-site parking. Hotel restaurant was closed (Friday) - not quite sure why, reception recommended a local restaurant which was good. Night was warm and we did find it a little difficult to sleep as we needed to have the window open as there was no air-conditioning or fan - really a must in Spain in September! Hotel was quiet, clean and met our needs.

Our host, Pepe, made us warmly welcome. We arrived a lot earlier than the offered check-in time, but were quickly accommodated, and provided with a drink on the house and a good guide to the town. Room was large, very comfortable, and very quiet. Pepe kindly offered an after dinner liqueur to go with dinner on the terrace. Wonderful night!

We had a very enjoyable stay. It's the perfect place if you want a stay that's off the beaten track. The hosts were very hospitable and helpful. Our room was comfortable and spacious. There was also a comfortable communal lounge/library which we were welcome to use. Although there were no evening meals, it was just a short walk to a nearby campsite which had a restaurant that was good value. There is a mini-market shop opposite the hotel open from Monday to Saturday and another one at the campsite. It's just over an hour's drive to the beautiful city of Oviedo and there are other beautiful villages nearby on the coast such as Cudillero

In the sleepy town on Cadavedo, a good stop on the Camino del Norte. The only supermarket and restaurant are just a couple of minutes down the road. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and carried our bags to the third floor. Being a Hotel Rural this hotel has no services, except breakfast starting at 8am. There is a lovely garden where you can sit and relax. The room was cosy with a modern ensuite bathroom with bathtub.

My room was clean and the bed comfortable! The beach was a 5 minute walk along the river through the trees. It was beautiful with lots of songbirds singing their hearts out. The pathway was well maintained and easy to walk on. The beach itself is beautiful and has a little restaurant where you can order freshly made food and refreshing drinks.

The views from this property are exceptional! We had a warm welcome and the staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was on the top floor with rural views to the rear. It was very clean and quiet, with old fashioned character. We had drinks and snacks on the bar deck overlooking the river and town, which was very special. It is right next to the Camino track, so easy to start the walk from therei in the morning.

We loved this Finca! From the moment we walked in and were greeted by our host Daniel, it was a luxurious experience. The location is so charming, tucked into the woods at the end of a sleepy village, with sheep grazing nearby and a secret beach just steps down the road. We appreciated the parking being right there. Reception was so peaceful with classical music, artwork and comfy seating. The dining area was right there with beautiful views of the grazing area and woods. Our room was on the first floor (stairs or elevator); it was large with a big bed and desk. We were fortunate to have a patio to star gaze at night. The bathroom is large and modern with a great shower overlooking the hill. The room was very quiet at night, and the bed very comfortable. The next morning, breakfast was a delicious buffet, and we ended up buying a jar of jam and chatting with our friendly host. We will remember our stay here very fondly!

Good value and beautiful property in a remote location close to an small secluded cove and a 10 minute drive to Luarca, free parking on site, helpful and friendly host, comfortable and clean room, great shower. The property was not offering dinner and it’s a challenging 30 minute walk to the nearest bar or restaurant in Luarca. We did the walk and there were beautiful views and, fortunately, we found a €10 taxi back.

It was in the middle of nowhere near a lovely cove. An architecturally interesting building restored with great care and thought for its surroundings and ecological care. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom luxurious. There was even a kettle in the room which was great. It is a no tv hotel which wasn’t a problem. It was really quiet. In the communal sitting area there was a bar and relaxing classical music playing which was really relaxing. The grounds were laid out well with seating. Breakfast was well prepared and had a good choice, including smoothies which I recommend. The owner was really attentive and happy to talk about the building and how he restored it. Well worth a visit.

We loved this beautiful place.We had the terrace room.Good linnen and bed.The house is in excellent condition.Breakfast was great, served by a very helpful and friendly lady. A private beach Just 200 meters down the road. It was a bit tricky to find this place the first day as my google maps/mobile network was slow at crucial points but we managed and by the second day it was so easy to visit the town and surroundings.

It was a lovely house beautifully decorated. The host was very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed relaxing on the wild beach nearby and in the garden.

The bathroom has high quality hygiene products like we've never seen before, everything is so clean and comfy.

What a perfect spot! We stayed here for 3 nights as a break from a month long camino, and so glad we did! We were there before the summer season was really underway, so it was very quiet. There's a great cafe down the road, and an amazing restaurant up the road. The apartments are perfect, with everything you could need. Plus, super comfortable beds, living room, etc. Could have enjoyed a week!

Gorgeous, clean and spacious apartments in a beautiful setting! They have put a lot of thought into everything and it shows. Would return in a heartbeat. Beds were comfortable, and there is plenty of space to put luggage and clothes. Had all of the necessities including a kit full of cleaning supplies and lovely toiletries in the bathroom. My kids loved the robot lawnmowers and play area. The outdoor sitting area is very large and we enjoyed dinner there. The pool was refreshing! We were fortunate to have some good weather mixed in with the rain and were able to take advantage of it.

Very beautiful apartments. Could stay here much longer. Everything is new, very well furnished with washing machine, fully equipped kitchen (just oven is missing). Possible to drive the car closer to the house to unpack the things and than park it at the entrance. Nice big swimming pool also it is quite close to the beach. Also staff is very friendly and helpful.

Sandra was an amazing, took very good care of us. The apartment is clean spacious and well laid out with all amenities. We wer just passing through but plan to return with this as a destination

We had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in a beautiful location beside the river. At Casona Naviega a lot of thought and care has gone into ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with lovely décor and pretty surroundings beside the river. Antonio is a super host, always ensuring we were well taken care of and on hand with local knowledge to recommend places to visit in the area. The buffet breakfast was a real treat, offering a wide selection to choose from, both hot and cold dishes. Little extra touches like complimentary coffee and cakes laid out in the library in the afternoon added to our positive experience. On-site parking was really convenient too. Above all, for the quality and service provided, the value was outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area. Well done Antonio & Team – we will definitely return. Beautiful hotel overlooking the river in Navia. Just a short walk into town where there is an excellent selection of bars, restaurants and shops. Our room was so beautifully appointed with a balcony. Lots of attention to detail and if you like traditional charm with modern touches then this hotel is for you. We paid extra for breakfast and it was exceptional. So much choice! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again as the hotel is so lovely and Navia is a great small town. Excellent parking facilities too at the hotel.

We decided to get breakfast at an extra cost but it was amazing. Such a good variety of foods. The area was really nice to walk about. Great walk to the beach then up towards the sea cliffs. The hosts greet you with genuine kindness and make you feel right at home. The facilities are excellent and well thought out — everything you need as a pilgrim is provided. They offer a delicious three-course dinner for just €16, and breakfast is included in the stay, which is a great bonus. You can leave your bicycle in a garage and it's safe then. There is plenty of space for bicicletas. What really stands out are the beds — without a doubt, the most comfortable I’ve found on the entire Camino del Norte. After a long day of walking, a restful night here makes all the difference. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and friendly place to stay.

This place was incredible. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The service was exceptional and the pilgrim dinner and breakfast hit the spot! Laundry facilities were great. After a tough day of climbing, it is only 5 easy, basically flat, scenic kilometers past Cadavedo. I great way to wind down and it is right on the Camino.

The albergue is extremely clean and the furnishings are beautiful. The beds are comfortable and sheets and blankets are provided. The host is very kind and helpful. If you are walking the Camino, it is directly along the route. The dinner was tasty, but be advised that it is only available if you have an advance reservation. If you arrive without a reservation, it might not be possible to eat dinner there.

One of the best albergues I have stayed at on the Camino. It is modern, clean and so comfortable. Carmen the owner was always there to help with anything! She's amazing! There is a supermarket nearby and a restaurant at a walking distance. I really loved the place and I highly recommend it!

Simply perfect. Room was larger than expected with a beautiful view of trees from a large window that looked like it came out of a film set from some glorious bygone age. Bed was very comfortable. Common areas downstairs were quietly elegant. Food was good and service both at dinner and breakfast professional without being pretentious. Gardens were lovely. You could see attention to detail everywhere; even the shower had a temperature controller on the tap!

The hotel is located in a beautiful surrounding country side. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff is super nice. Great dinner and breakfast. The walks to the beach are amazing! And their dog is perfect!

Excellent walking or cycling in the area and a pleasant local village with all the necessities. All situated in the picturesque Asturian coastal country side. Welcoming friendly staff and wonderful grounds. This was a repeat visit and it won’t be the last. Very highly recommended !!

The hotel is located in a quite beautiful spot in Villademoros. In the ground floor there is a spacious living room with a fireplace and an elegant bookshelf. There are vases with fresh flowers all over. It feels like home. The gardens surround the main building are very well kept. The room was comfortable and the bathroom had a good size. WiFi access in the room was fast and steady. Breakfast was delicious with freshly baked croissants and apple cake.

wow and double wow. what amazing hosts!! the nicest people on the Camino!! They made the stay such a wonderfully special one with their hospitality, vitality and kindness. They prepared and cooked us a magnificent dinner (not easy as we are vegan - and they made two trips to the shops to get things to make the dinner) and breakfast and spent time showing us around their very interesting property. nothing was too much trouble! We stayed in a converted corn storage facility - you see them all over this area. it was super comfortable! and we had a private dining room and sitting room. amazing! don’t miss this place!

The host is very friendly and welcoming to us and to our little dog. The property is lovely and very unusual. We could walk to a local bar (the food was good). Lunch was offered when we arrived, and was delicious - we had lunch again the next day and a pizza on our final night.

The breakfast was amazing. There was a cost but it was well worth it! The beds were comfortable and I loved the duvet provided. The family who ran it were very helpful and always on-site to answer any questions.

A great stay away from the city. Definitely a friendly rural vibe. We loved our walks to the beach and the sitting room outside our bedroom. Cafe con leche in the morning was perfection. We felt very welcome along with our dogs!

Very clean tiled motel style room with ensuite, in a very quiet rural location. There is also a common area downstairs with fridge, microwave, dining table.and lounge. The owners are very friendly and helpful.They have a great bar restaurant across the road, where breakfast is served. It's on the Camino route, and not far from supermarket or beaches if you have a car.

Breakfast was nice in the bar across the street. They serve lunch and dinner for a very good price and its super delicious. Rooms are clean, theres a common area with a fridge and microwave. Beds are comfortable. Overall experience 10/10

The apartment ist very comfortable, the sight right from the breakfast table into the beautiful port of Luarca, the sea with its tides etc. is spectacular. One of the Easter processions passed right in front of our windows. The apartment is technically state of the art equipped, the shower has a wonderful acoustic for singing :D The bars and restaurants of the port are at 5 min walking down a stairway, the supermarket at 10 min walk.

A clean, comfortable and well-appointed apartment, with a stunning view of an outstandingly beautiful and interesting town. Close to the heart of the town, just a short walk away. We loved it.

Our family absolutely loved this place!! Beautifully decorated, perfect location, set up very well, clean, great bathrooms & our most memorable stay to date!!

A well situated apartment with very kind hosts. Very clean and everything thought through in terms of use of space. We found the bed a little small but my husband is very tall so for most it will be just fine. Beautiful view of the whole Luarca bay.
