I felt like a rich person staying here! The staff were very kind and welcoming (the hostess and I bonded over Canada because it’s her favourite country)! The rooftop patio had incredible views and a sufficient selection of delicious food, though I only had breakfast there once because I got stung by a wasp the first time. One word of warning: they pump some sort of fragrance into the rooms when they clean them, so if you’re sensitive to fragrances like I am, you may have to leave the window open for a while to let it air out (which wasn’t convenient for me because there was a heat wave while I was there, and AC doesn’t work well with windows open). As for the amenities of the hotel, it had all the essentials. The rooms were modern, clean, and incredibly spacious, and there was even a mini coffee bar. It felt luxurious despite the few hiccups in my experience.

Great discovery in the heart of Lyon! The hotel was clean, modern, very well designed with a lot of thought put into the guest experience. We loved the rooms, which suited needs perfectly - great merge bedroom/bathroom concept - loved the coffee machine as well, first time we have slept in a hotel that has a fresh bean-to-cup facility in the room! The staff were super friendly and welcoming whilst still respecting privacy and keeping professional. The icing on the cake was the price was extremely fair compared with many other hotels that weren’t nearly as appealing. A big thumbs up, would highly recommend!

Very nice boutique hotel in an excellent location in Lyon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was modern and nice. The rooftop bar and restaurant are excellent for an afternoon apperitif , dinner or enjoying a beautiful Lyon evening.

Had a very good stay here. Rooms are fairly basic but very clean, and the hotel has a rooftop bar and restaurant with a lovely view of the Basillica. Location is good, it is about a 10 minute walk to Vieux Lyon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a good place to stay.

Nice and new hotel near the motorway. The proximity of the motorway can be disturbing. Clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable bed. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice breakfast with craft made jam (delicious!). Free parking outside of the hotel.

We stayed here for one night as a stop off when driving to Nice from the UK. The hotel is in a industrial estate however this didn’t bother us as we were just staying for the night then getting up early to continue our trip. The hotel was very clean and modern and I was very impressed. Huge car park both underground and outside of the hotel with Tesla chargers so I was able to charge my car for free ready for the morning using the 3 phase fast charging! The hotel doesn’t have bar/restaurant service on the weekend which didn’t both us but could for some people! The breakfast was delicious too which was included in the price of our room. Overall I was impressed and was a great stop off and much better than some expensive hotels we’ve stayed at in other locations in France

The Parkest hotel is a very good hotel. It is very well maintained, clean, with spacious room & practical bathrooms. The staff are all professional, friendly & are all very helpful, it is very much appreciated. We had a lovely stay 😀

We stayed here for a night before an early flight and were really pleasantly surprised. The staff were really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was closed for a Summer break but they recommended somewhere nearby and even prepared a breakfast to go for us as we had to leave early for the airport. The area around the hotel is just warehouses so there isn’t much to do close by, but it’s very convenient for the airport.

The hotel amenities are excellent—from the well-equipped fitness center to the relaxing spa and pool areas, everything is thoughtfully maintained and easily accessible. The breakfast spread is also quite impressive, offering a good variety to suit different tastes. What makes the stay even more memorable is the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They are consistently humble, courteous, and very responsive to guest needs. Whether it’s the front desk, housekeeping, or restaurant team, everyone goes out of their way to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Lyon Metropole to anyone visiting Lyon, whether for business or leisure. I look forward to staying here again on my next visit.

I was afraid because some of the reviews were not that good but in the end, it was very very nice. It was super clean, staff were super kind, very nice pools and Spa. They provided us with towels, bath robes, flip flops, ... The food in the restaurant was just delicious, and for a reasonable price! And the breakfast buffet was very clean and with a high variety of food. The only things were: that the mattress was a bit hard for me but it was perfect for my husband so I think it's a matter of taste ; and the bathtub was a bit damaged at the bottom and the glass wasn't efficient at preventing water splashing. But overall, I would totally recommend it.

My wife, my cat, and I stayed at Hôtel Lyon Métropole for my birthday, and it was an excellent experience. My wife had contacted the hotel in advance to arrange decorations for my birthday, and they did a fantastic job — the room looked absolutely amazing and made the stay really special. One thing I’d suggest is that the hotel updates the photos of the rooms online. The real rooms are even nicer and more spacious than they appear on Booking.com, so it would be great for future guests to see that. The staff were very kind and helpful. When we arrived, the parking garage was full, but they went out of their way to help me park on the hotel grounds instead, which I really appreciated. The sauna and pool area was also a highlight: very clean, hygienic, and relaxing. I will definitely return to this hotel and spa the next time I’m in Lyon — and I’m sure my cat will be happy to come back too!

The spa facilities are amazing & child friendly. The restaurant has a very nice menu offering fine dining as well as bistro type dishes. Breakfast is extensive & plentiful. The location along the borders of the Saone is perfect to explore the beauties of Lyon.

Stayed for 2 separate nights recently and loved every minute. Bar, restaurant , housekeeping and spa staff all friendly and professional however gotta say a huge thanks to Adrienne on the front desk and the team. He sure knows how to keep this one calm as well as sort issues. Can't speak highly enough about the team. Definitely returning. Margot Gordon

Got stuck in Lyon having gotten the screwjabb from TransAvia Airlines on way passing through to Greece. But thanks to this hotel I actually didn't regret my two day lay over here. Number One here is the in-house restaurant Buffet beginning at 5pm. Absolutely first-class buffet and everyone from the servers to the check-in to the Spa were incredibly friendly and helpful. Lyon is a much quieter city than what I had expected.. And it suits it very well with such laudable citizenry. Standard rooms here are not spacious but the beds are excellent. My TV kept having issues with reception it seemed. Very nice Hotel overall and certainly get at that Buffet. Delicious.

This hotel was a stop on the road to Cannes, but we wished we had longer here as the hotel had everything you need! Bedrooms excellent, bed so comfortable I could have slept for a week!! Joining room luxury with teenage children! Restaurant very good, amazing buffet cold and hot! Not cheap but delicious. Pool table and table tennis in reception area great fun, staff very helpful!!!! Excellent

Room 201 - fantastic room - very spacious, spotless, well equipped and very comfortable. Hotel foyer quite impressive, good first impression. Outdoor heated pool with sun chairs on patio area. Bar and restaurant awesome, great menu on offer, lovely service in the evening. Following morning a buffet style breakfast very well presented. All in all a perfect overnight stay in the middle of a long journey from south to north.
