This was our second visit to Hotel Vila Bela. This time we stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it. The views from the room terrace and balcony were amazing. You can easily spend hours looking at the waves and the mountains, and it is worth getting up early to catch sunrise. The restaurant downstairs has seating right next to the ocean. The room and restaurant prices are very good value for money. All the staff are friendly and the hard-working cleaners keep the rooms spotless. The breakfast is substantial and varied, providing a great start to the day. My favourite place to stay in Madeira without a doubt,

The location is just perfect, if I could give more points I would. Right in front of the ocean. Nice and clean room , with amazing view to the ocean. The receptionist informed us that they were fans available upon request but since we were in front of the beach we let the windows open and had great sleep. Our room was cleaned during the second day of our stay too which of course adds more points to the great service. A big variety for breakfast too. We had dinner from the hotel restaurant and everything was delicious!!!

The Hotel Vila Bela in Porto da Cruz fulfilled more than just our expectationes! The stuff in the hotel and restaurant was always friendly and helpful. The kitchen was excellent and even delicious vegetarian meals (made with fresh vegetables) were offered to us every evening. The rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day and the view to the sea was amazing (be booked a room with sea view). We really had a great and relaxing time at Vila Bela and would recommend it to everyone who travels to Porto da Cruz!

Vila Bela is located in the beautiful town Porta da Cruz, with a great ocean view and rum distillery nearby :) We really enjoy eating delicious breakfast sitting at the tables at the ocean <3 Room was great, comfortable and clean. Delicious breakfast, tasty fruits and meat. Often fresh juice - yummy! And thank you for birthday gift - you made my day!!!

This hotel is located on the seafront with excellent views down the coast. There is no on-site parking but there is a free car park only 200yds away. Our room on the top floor was large and had a large private balcony with sunloungers, a table and chairs and a hammock. The bed was comfortable and although we knew that our room would be facing the sea we didn't find the noise of the waves a problem. Breakfast was basic (this is a 2 star hotel) but did include freshly-cooked options. We would recommend getting down to breakfast in good time, though, as on the Monday morning they ran out of bacon and eggs. We ate dinner at the hotel on our first night there. The food was very reasonable (and the glass of wine very generous) and we enjoyed sitting outside next to the sea. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. Porto da Cruz is a very pleasant spot with several reasonable restaurants; it was one of our favourite stops on this holiday.

Super convenient for airport, beach, food and bis station for local activities and rest of island. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and great balcony with sea view. Good buffet breakfast with a few options including cold, cooked, and sweet. Great location, with free parking a short walk (paid parking closer by, but rarely spaces available). New bathroom and amazing shower. We really enjoyed our stay, highly recommended.

what a lovely place to stay. Ideally situated near to the sea and the beach. The owners were so friendly and kind I think that's what made my stay so perfect. Did have an initial issue with my first room, but the owner quickly offered an alternative which was perfect. comfortable bed, everything spotless and beautiful views. the breakfast was delicious, but again I think the service and kindness were what made my stay so comfortable. Machico is a beautiful place and would definitely revisit White Waters, thank you again both

Small friendly hotel ideally located in Machico just a few minutes from the beach. Rooms all had a balcony with sea view. Spacious and clean. Excellent breakfast serving bacon and eggs, selection of cold meats and cheeses. Choice of lovely bread and fruit together with excellent coffee. Staff were very friendly especially Shez who so helpful and gave us some excellent recommendations of places to visit. Would highly recommend this as an excellent base to explore the island.

The hosts and all staff were amazing. Very spacious room, amazing views and comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious and well presented. This is a modern building located in the heart of Machico. There's a pebble beach 1 min walk away and a sandy beach 5 minutes walking distance. Thank you very much, hopefully will be back soon.

Amazing value for a comfortable, clean, friendly hotel. Very good breakfast buffet with fried eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheeses, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, rolls and bread. Terrific location a block from the beach, and the town of Machico itself was a very pleasant surprise: scenic, lots of great eateries, pristine clean, and a wonderful beach.

Very friendly reception. Room was a bit tight with an unnecessary additional single bed, but made up for by amazing balcony view. Worth staying here for this alone. Fabulous. Breakfast was rather basic and a bit strange (limited from a menu not buffet). Service was slow and my small plate of scrambled eggs with no accompaniments were stone cold when eventually turned up. Nice fresh bread rolls, though. Lift covers all levels including restaurant on ground floor - with street-level access is handy for those with mobility issues. Good place to stay with great access to the sea front and amazing view from the balcony.

We arrived about 90 minutes early and asked if we could leave our luggage, our room was within a couple of minutes of being finished so spoke to the very nice receptionist Staff are really upbeat and friendly. Room was fabulous, amazing views over the sea and towards the cliffs. The sea on a couple of days over the weekend had big waves so was wonderfull, there is a lovely walk around a point on Porto do Cruz and on it there is a blow hole where the sea pushes the sea out and up to about 10 metres,.maybe more. This can be also a place to get wet as the spray can get you when you walk past. It's quite a popular attraction and great fun. Also when the waves are big it can also breech the sea wall. The bed in the room was very comfy and the shower had loads of hot water. Weather we had was lovely over 20 C. Had a couple of good hikes, one to Boca do Risco and back, tough start but once up to 350 metres quite flat. Also Levada Castelejo. We are not using a car so get the bus to Referta and walk from there, if you are in the area both theses walk are great you can exit this one early on the way back and walk back down the hill Breakfast had quite a selection of dishes and fab coffee. Need to add if you are taking buses be very aware of public holidays as buses can be next to nothing on these days. We were lucky to get a bus on Shrove Tuesday to Santa Cruz. Porto do Cruz is a great place for a few days and this accommodation was fab. Would recommend and stay again. Cheers, 😁😁

Modern hotel in beautiful location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Sea view room with balcony , clean and adequate.. Stayed at the end of February and weather a bit chilly - hotel could do with some heating. Breakfast, picnic and evening meals very good. Would return. Thank you to all the staff at the Costa Linda for making our stay enjoyable.

Excellent customer service, responded instantly to confirm booking and even found us a room with a sea view. Staff great and very friendly and obliging, fantastic location and we were so lucky to find it on our first visit to madeira. We hired a car for the week and toured the island and would not have changed our Hotel or location, best base in our view for touring and then having a quiet little village to return to and have a beer listening to the sea. We stayed from 6th-13th of Feb 2017 so it was lovely and quiet but still enough places open to have the choice of 3 to 4 restaurants to eat fresh fish at a very reasonable price. A visit to Funchal for the fish market is a must and the cable car up Monte Great value for money

Costa Linda will greet you warmly It’s is well used but clean and comfortable The drying area was much appreciated and the view from our balcony overlooked the sea only metres away We ate in the alfresco dining area. The food was fresh and well cooked. Breakfast was great and really good coffee If I had to pick one thing I would like added it would be a fly screen so the door could be open all night to listen to the sea without mosquitoes coming in. Porto da Cruz is an absolutely wonderful place to stop for a few days

We were staying for 10 days and even if the hotel looks a little bit outdatet it is really clean and homey, the room was located on the second floor and we also had a balcony with an amaizing view on the ocean and the mountains. You can also see the planes landing and taking off witch for me was awesome. The staff are realy hospitable and nice, they help you with all requests if at all possible and are realy friendly. If you want to plan your activities they will gladly help you at the reception with any reservations. We took the all inclusive package and had a very delicious breakfast every morning with a lot of choices, the lunch we skipped a couple of times but when we went it was also very good but the dinner was for my taste fantastic almost every evening with a lot of different choices from meat and fish to side dishes and salads, but the best part was the desserts table which always had a lot of different desserts and also lots of fruit and always at least 2 choiches of cheese platers. The restaurant staff are also realy friendly and attentive. Also in the package are a lot of drinks such as soft drinks or alcoholic beverages and even if not all cocktails are included you surr can find something to your taste. So all in all i was really pleased with our stay at Dom Pedro Madeira

Check in was straightforward and smooth. It is evident they have completed some updates/reservations to the inside of the building that really make it beautiful and organized. Do not let the look of the building from the outside concern you. The setup of the property is unique and there are many features onsite, including an outdoor pool, restaurant, piano lounge, games area, ect. Our room was a great size and had a beautiful view of the beach where we watched surfers for hours. The bed linens were very clean and the beds were super comfortable. The best part of the room was the large window, which could me swung open completely for airflow and an unobstructed view of the beach. The breakfast in the morning included in our stay was far more than we expected for the cost of the room. The re was a large buffet including yogurt, fruit, toast, pastries, eggs, beans, sausage, juice, and hot drinks. The buffet area also overlooked the sunrise and the beach.

The hotel itself is located in a beautiful and quieter part of the island, well away from the hustle and bustle of Funchal, which is very orientated towards tourists , busy and very hilly. The hotel and the area has a more relaxed atmosphere and environment as you are located in a town which is more realistic of the real traditional Madeira. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable, spotless with fantastic views of the sea. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. They are happy to go the extra mile to help with any additional needs you might have. As a disabled daily wheelchair ♿️ user the help from the staff was greatly appreciated. There are no large hills to or from the hotel to the town centre, restaurants, shops, banks etc and the beach to have to negotiate unlike Funchal thankfully. I would be more than happy to return for another stay at the hotel and area.

Beautiful, resort-like property. Excellent buffet breakfast. Many facilities on site: pool, bar, restaurant, game room, surf lessons. Walking distance down to local beach and restaurants. Attractive promenade with seating to watch the sunrise or surfers down below. Property grounds beautifully landscaped and inviting. Attentive staff. Probably the best located porperty in Machico. Limited parking available, but we also had no promlems finding street parking close by.

The location and view were fantastic. You can’t get closer to the sea and the sunrise is spectacular. The pool is big and there were always sunloungers available. There was a lot of choice at breakfast which we enjoyed. The promenade and pier of 1200m is perfect for a walk or run. It is a short walk to the pebble beach and walking a bit further was the white sand beach. There are a lot of different good restaurants within walking distance and some great hikes a short drive away. We did not have dinner at the hotel so can’t rate that.

Small, friendly, hotel is in a great location, very near the sea and by the bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly, breakfast was good and the room was clean and a good size.

Lovely place. Very central, close to the beach, to the centre, at a walking distance from the bus station. Good breakfast. The hotel's also got a restaurant with excellent food, very reasonable prices and lovely waiters. I would certainly go back.

Nice roomy room, I even got a small terrace , good location close to the beach. Arrival was somewhat unplanned but the lady was very friendly and helped me get checked in very quickly. The included breakfast had a lot of options.

Simple and easy. For sure not the newest one, also not the cleanest. But for this money absolutely worth it. We got breakfast for takeaway, the host is really friendly and also the restaurant i can recommend! For sure there are a lot of better rooms around i guess, -the best years are over, but the deal was cheap and we got what we searched for.

While the hotel itself is generally nice, with welcoming staff who always greeted us with smiles, there were several downsides. Firstly, the hotel's location is both a blessing and a curse. Nestled on a mountain away from the lively atmosphere of Machico, it offers a peaceful retreat. There are no good restaurants or cafes nearby, which makes it difficult if you prefer dining out. The hotel's promotional images are somewhat misleading- depicting chaise lounges on a grassy lawn, suggesting ample outdoor space for relaxation. In reality, the only outdoor area is a covered terrace with a few rattan sofas and armchairs. During our stay, the terrace doors were only open for one morning. Breakfast was okay, but the variety was lacking. The breakfast room itself had a peculiar, quiet vibe with soft ambient music playing, which felt more awkward than relaxing. The gym facilities were quite disappointing. The space is size of a single bedroom, inadequately equipped-consists of a treadmill, a bench, a couple of 3-4kg dumbbells, and a single set of 12 kg weights. Sharing these limited resources with other guests was frustrating.The pool, sauna, and steam room were satisfactory. The daily cleaning process began around 10 am, precisely when many guestswould prefer to use these amenities. The noise from vacuums and cleaners disrupted what should have been a relaxing experience.For those seeking a more engaging and conveniently located accommodation, I recommend looking elsewhere

Immaculately clean hotel , just renovated and very tastefully furnished .. the staff made the stay even more relaxing they were very friendly , helpful and accommodating, Iris at reception gave us great recommendations everyday , the food in the hotel was some of the best we had on the island and the desserts were out of this world .. all catering was cooked in house and the vegetables all grown in the gardens at the hotel .. huge choice of cooked and fresh fruits at breakfast . After a day of hiking and walking the indoor pool , steam room and sauna was a welcome treat .. conveniently located only 15 minutes from the airport .. would definitely recommend a stay here 😍

We had a very nice stay at the Enotel Golf - Santo da Serra. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the place very tastefully decorated with lots of cosy sofas and arm chairs next to the restaurant. There you can enjoy a good book and a cup of tea both inside and outside when the sun is shining. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied with everything we could wish for. The nearby golf course is beatifully situated, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

This hotel is very nice and well run. It is just on the edge of a village and at the top of a hill so you need transport to reach it. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with large bathrooms. All the rooms seemed to have patio doors which lead out to a paved area with comfortable furniture and then a garden beyond. The food is excellent though I can only comment about breakfast and dinner. Both had a wide variety of hot and cold delights. All the staff were very friendly and always wanted to help. My stay here did enhance my holiday and look forward to staying here again.

We stayed in 3 bedrooms villa. It's modern, big, clean, & comfortable place to spend with friends & family. The complex has beautiful beach view, clean & safe. The staff are nice & professional. The buffet food is excellent. The specialty restaurant is hard to get a reservation since it's limited space. I wish the resort tells & gives the guest option to special restaurant prior our arrival.

Beautiful, safe and secure resort with excellent facilities. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We had a sea view room (adults only block) which was really spacious, quiet and clean. Great selection of restaurants to eat at but we couldn’t get booked in to most for dinner due to already being at full capacity however, we were only there for 3 nights so if we had stayed longer, we would have been able to experience the different ones. The world buffet was always an option if you can’t get in to eat at the others. Overall we were very impressed for a first time all inclusive hotel break and we would definitely return back for longer next time.

The resort is very clean and staff are super friendly and helpful! The views from the hotel are astonishing! The buffet restaurant has sufficient variety and with good quality. I have a positive experience overall. Some area for improvement: booking restaurant could be very difficult, room service lady forgot to come back to clean the room. It’s mainly due to short of staffs since the week we visited was Easter holiday and the hotel is in the process of getting ready to run at full capacity.

Clean, friendly staff, nice pools. Great sevice at Cocoa, Voce and Desire bars. Dissapointing main buffet, main bar and Japonese restaurant - disorganized staff, drinks service fails etc. We made reservation for 3 adults, but, except of sofa bed done and towels, room was set for 2 persons - 2 bathrobes, 2 cups, 2 glases, drinks for 2 in minibar. Ask for 3rd bathrobe, but never receive it. App is great for restaurant resevation but useless to order housekeeping or maintaince.

Absolutely the best All-Inclusive resort in Madeira. Dreams is a recently re-branded hotel resort complex covering a vast area from the beach all the up through a mini village. With a variety of rooms, and services on offer including restaurants, cafes and pools. Staff are incredible, always happy to help and seem very happy to work there with the exception of the World Cafe. We noticed over a period of the 3 nights we were staying there that there was a little battle going on with the local Madeiran staff and non local staff which to be honest is ugly and unacceptable. This happened to one of the cooks on station, he was shouted at by another cook which wasn't very nice. We also noticed this was done in front of guests which isn't very professional and we tried raising this with reception however, we were told to make any complaints through their website!! I informed the receptionist it wasn't a complaint but an observation but was ignored. Moving on, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everything except the world cafe staff was just as expected from a Hyatt brand. I understand the hotel is opening in phases but would suggest more entertainment in the evening. Food was exceptional Staff were professional (mostly) Facilities that were open were great Getting around, very easy Internet, very fast Using the App to reserve restaurants, activities, great idea Free minibar in the room

This is a great hostel! If you are looking for a hostel in Madeira STAY HERE. super friendly, clean, cute. Fabulous pizza night. Quiet at night. Fabulous hostel. About 20 min from airport. Next to a good bar/restaurant in a small village with trail running options. Small supermarket in village and bakery with great coffee. Surfing nearby and marine pool. We did a GREAT walk - the best of our trip from the hostel to machico (15km) - steep uphill to start then easy walking along coast and levadas. Definitely do this! Bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable! We had room 1 - ensuite with private terrace and good views. Shared area nice. Our host Ines was wonderful and made sure everyone was invited to the bar each night.

This place was unforgettable, one of the best hostels I've stayed at for its layout, style, value and location. The location is spectacular - nestled in a cosy corner of the island, you find yourself surrounded by the dramatic Madeiran landscape with huge columns of rock left and right and a picturesque pebbled beach a stone throw away. The hostel is literally next door to a superb restaurant, (Also well priced) and coffee shop along with a few bars and local newsagents for bits and bobs like milk/cereal etc. On immediate entry you'll find a wonderful outside patio area with benchs and privacy before entering the hostel itself. Inside you are greeted by a cosy lounge area to chill on the left. On the right is a large dining table. The kitchen is straight to the right, it is useful and sufficient for cooking and storage. There's freebies available for guests by the guests. There's an endearing honesty jar for beer and pop taps to help yourself too. Upstairs in the attic, it has a wonderful balcony and cosy bedspaces. I met a lot of great people during my time here, friendly, interesting, welcoming and eager to explore the beautiful island. I will definitely seek to stay again down the line.

I loved my stay here - the location is perfect, check-in was seamless with warm and helpful service. The space is spotless and spacious, with a cozy balcony for evenings, a relaxing salon downstairs, and a tidy kitchen and bathroom. Everything felt comfortable and welcoming.

The location was amazing - short distance to the beach. The hostel itself has a homely vibe to it, it’s cosy and has plenty of room for cooking and eating and a nice social space. We stayed in the 7 bed dorm which was fab, each person had a little cubby hole with a curtain and plenty of space to put your things. Nice balcony with a view. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can rent surfboards and wetsuits here too which we did for 2 days which was great. Facilities were fab. Nice social vibe. Will stay here again!

The stay in the hostel was perfect. Everyone was very friendly, met many interesting people and tried surfing. The hostel offers a lot of activities (in cooperation with others - surfing, paragliding, yoga, ...). The Friday evening pizza night was brilliant and the homemade pizza very delicious. The shared rooms are quit comfortable, there are few nice restaurants and cafes around. The city's vibe is overall quiet and chill and it is a reasonable driving distance to many interesting places. There are many free parking spaces in the city, although they can get full quickly during the day, but you can always find a spot little bit further away from the hostel, but still in the city, which is always max 10 min walking distance. The hostel offers clothes washing service for 5 euros (staff washes it for you and dries it). There are swimming pools with ocean water close to the hostel which seem to be officially closed, but in reality locals and others go swim there and there is no issue with that. There are 2 supermarkets in the town and one ATM machine (withdrawal with Revolut without any fee).

Very beautiful spacious room, nice interieur with style and lots of wooden furniture/elements, hot and strong shower, shared, well equipped kitchen (i liked the different teas you can combine with a description of their medicinal use), a really beautiful terrace, everything immaculate clean, perfect location in the center of machico but absolutely quiet, near to the beach, cafes, restaurants, bus stop etc., all not more than 3min away, and last but not least a very lovely host. Can absolutely recommend this place

Modern & Recycled Guest House is located in the center of Machico, close to a beautiful sandy beach. The concept of living was very interesting, the hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and cozy. After our stay, while waiting for the plane to depart, the hosts even offered us the opportunity to drink tea/coffee on the balcony of the Guest House.

I loved everything about this property. First and foremost, hands up to Ruben (owner) for the hospitality and kindness. We truly are grateful for being warm and welcoming! I appreciate the time he took in giving us tips - where to eat, and convinced us to do the hike to são lourenço which is a must!, getting us taxi was far beyond.. thank you! We felt safe and comfortable all throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. We loved the decors, too! Sheets and towels were spotless and smells clean (i have OCD when it comes to these so, well done :)) communal area was impressive as well - everything is there and you can definitely cook and feel at home, too bad we could not stay longer. I would go back to Machico, and definitely I will book this place again. :)

The concept and the story impressed us. It is a family business and each room has a different design, connected to one of the family member's story or passion. The furniture is custom made and one of a kind. The rooms are big and comfortable. The shared kitchen is also very nice. It is a large kitchen with all the amenities for cooking, if needed, and spaces allocated for each room. The guest house has a principle of not wasting food, so guests can leave behind unused food, for anybody to enjoy. Ruben, the host, is amazing. Always available and helpful. Location - in the center of the town, close to bars, shops, restaurants and the sandy beach. The town is very nice, close to the airport and with easy access to some of the nicest places of the island. It also has one of the few sandy beaches on the island.

This place was the best we stayed in Madeira. Close to the center, but still quiet. Very comfortable and with nice design. The host was super friendly, he recommended us a very interesting trail run and a couple restaurants to eat. The shared kitchen has everything you need, clean. There is a place you can leave staff so others can pick it up and it won't be wasted. We loved that idea! Room was very comfortable and had enough space. You can also buy some local handmade products, we got a soap with a really beautiful orange scent 😍

Everything was great, apartment was very modern and clean. Well equipped, there was even a washing machine and a grill that you can use in the terrace. Parking is only available on street, but we found a spot right outside the door every evening. There is a small grocery store right across the street. Before booking I was worried about the light inside, because the apartment looks a bit dark in pictures, but that's completely not a problem. Apartament is decorated so well that it's dark but very cosy. The district was quiet and we had a good rest there. Nearby there was our most liked beach - Prainha do Caniçal. Sandy, less people than anywhere else (in October), only 5-7mins by car from the apartment.

Very beautiful and clean apartment. It is so well equipped that you could move in straight away. It has simply everything you can think of. The size for 2 people just perfect, really big bathroom with a huge shower (they even have their own toiletries labels, so sweet). You have a little backyard with seating. Nice for breakfasts. The bedroom faces the backyard, so it is nicely quiet. Parking possible anywhere on the street. A tiny local supermarket just across the street, 3 secs :) Close to restaurants, beach.

The house was immaculately clean, well-equipped, and full of character, an ideal place to relax after a day exploring Madeira. The location is great, peaceful, near fantastic hiking trails and viewpoints. Waking up and drinking a coffee on the patio was heaven. Everything was well taken care of, thanks to André, a fantastic host organizing everything with attention to detail. This was my home from home during this visit, and I'm already planning on returning. Highly recommend to anyone seeking comfortable and well situated accommodation in Madeira!

Very spacious apartment with a lovely patio. Everything was clean, you could cook, huge bathroom. Excellent location near the sea, and bus stops to take you anywhere you want. Host was very kind to leave recommendations which we followed and weren't disappointed, especially the restaurants. People all around were very welcoming, prices cheap for the value. Really recommend!

Modern/new, clean, best beds compared to all the other locations we had on Madeira. Very comfortable apartment in Caniçal with full equiped kitchen and nice, quiet outdoor place to sit and eat

The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes from the airport, making it very convenient. We asked for early check-in, and the staff kindly arranged it for us. The breakfast was simple but tasty, and the coffee was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels and toiletries (shower gel and shampoo) provided. The beds were new and very comfortable, and the gentle sound of the ocean outside the window added to the relaxing atmosphere. The large terrace with an ocean view is an ideal place to enjoy a glass of Madeira wine while taking in the stunning scenery We would definitely stay here again!

The view from the balcony was absolutely incredible - we were able to watch the sunrise on clear days! The hotel staff were very welcoming and kind, and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was included, which was filling and fresh, consisting of bread, pastries, jams, ham, cheese, cereal and eggs. The coffee each morning was amazing!! Location is fantastic, with the beach and restaurants only being a 5 minute walk.

Lovely little hotel, rooms spotlessly clean, very large bathroom and shower, also cleaned daily. Breakfast was great, lovely fresh bread and croissants, also had boiled eggs available or scrambled eggs on one of the mornings. Beautiful sea views from the balcony. Could not fault this hotel, very central to walk to town and beach. The manager and staff were all very friendly, great value for money. Would recommend this small hotel and would return again when back in Madeira. It is a little hidden gem, far superior to those large hotels where you have no views and there is no atmosphere.

The location was perfect, just a few minute walk from the beach, shopping, and restaurants. The balcony in the room was wonderful and had an amazing view of the mountains. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. Coffee at breakfast 10/10.

We have only the best memories on our stay at Residencial Familia in Machico. There was nice ocean view from the balcony, the room was clean and had everything we needed, and the owner and staff were super friendly. The best part was the breakfast where they serve you delicious coffee. We loved our mornings there!

This place is really amazing and we enjoyed staying here. The apartment is modern and clean, bed is comfortable, kitchen is well equipped and the ocean view from balcony is wonderful. The airport is close to this apartment and we enjoyed watching the planes from our balcony. Breakfast was delicious and fresh every day. The owners are very kind and they helped us with everything we needed including car rental and tranfer from and to the airport. The location is perfect and everything important is near (shop, restaurant, beach...). I highly recommend this accommodation.

The hosts arę very helpful with their time and information and the apartment had a lovely view and was very clean and had everything necessary inside. The very reasonably priced bar for coffee, drinks and snacks was very near by and supermarket is also near. Machico is a nice little town with a nice little beach and good restaurants. We spent a night at Villa Scirocco right before our flight. The apartment is located very close to the airport and offers wonderful views. It was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen and I found it to be very quiet at night too, in fact we had a great sleep. On arrival we met the host and for a series of circumstances we were given a larger apartment than the one we initially booked which was amazing. The host himself is very kind and welcoming and the communication even before arriving was great too. There is also a comfortable parking space just in front of the apartments. Overall we had a great experience and I would definitely recommend Villa Scirocco as a place to stay in Madeira.

The location was a large apartment with a balcony and spacious clean rooms. There was a private terrace upstairs on the roof which was very enjoyable to sit on in sunny weather. It was 15 minutes walk from a supermarket which is very handy if you are self catering. It was a 40 minute walk to Machico and the beach and near a bus stop. The kitchen had a nice cooker and equipment for cooking.

Super apartment! Everything is new, comfortable, clean and cosy. Own parking is nearby the apartment. Spectacular sea view, we enjoyed with sunrise! The owner (Dana) was very friendly and explained all the details about the apartment and surroundings. We stayed in December and for us it was important that the apartment has electrical radiators for heating that you can manage inside temperature yourself. Highly recommend this nice place!

This was a lovely little house in the middle of a local residential area, in a very quiet environment. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the essential equipment for even a longer stay. A big plus was the coffee percolator instead of a coffee pod machine! In the kitchen, there was washing liquid, oil and salt, tea bags and even coffee filters and ground coffee! We were welcomed with a bottle of local wine and some fruits. The bed was very comfortable, no creaks or squeaks. Nice bedroom with reading lamps and electricity outlets beside the beds. There was a small terrace outside, with a table and chairs, where we had our morning coffees. The centre of Machico within a short walking distance, also the walking trails were easily accessible from this location. Overall a lovely place to stay at!

Super friendly hosts which really made all the efforts to make us feel right at home. The cute house was just lovely and in tip-top shape! The place was clean, Wifi was good, supermarket, beach and downtown were within walking distance. We had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The neighbourhood felt very friendly and relaxed. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location for exploring Madeira, the small town of Machico is within walking distance where you will find a selection of cafes and restaurants to enjoy. We hired a car whilst in Madeira and there is parking nearby which is free. The owner was very welcoming and even greeted us with a bowl of fruit, some Madeira wine and jam and crackers. Lovely touch. The house has everything you could possibly need for a weeks stay. We cooked a few nights and used the washing machine. Really comfy bed.

Very clean and cozy. The host left us some fruit and very tasty wine, which we really appreciated. The house is big enough for two people and there is a sweet little terrace outside where you can eat :) The host is very accessible and getting/returning the keys was easy.

Perfect location, in the centre of Porto da Cruz but very quiet. Room has been recently refurbished and has everything you may need for a comfortable stay. Free and safe parking space near the house with locked automatic gate. Garden right in front of the house where you can just go and pick up fresh fruit. And most importantly - very friendly and helpful owner.

We spent a wonderful week of rest in these apartments. A wonderful view of the ocean from the window, a comfortable, clean and cozy accommodation that has everything you need. A friendly host who provides valuable advice. The X factor of this apartment is the banana garden opposite where you can treat yourself to fresh bananas.

Clean, spacious, quiet, super close to the harbour, beach and all the shops and restaurants of Porto da Cruz. Great views and the access to the tropical fruit garden was a real treat.

A wonderful little house with everything you need for living. The only thing missing was a washing machine, but for a few days it's not important. From the top floor there is a panoramic view of the sea and mountains. Very attentive and friendly owner. Nearby is a beautiful beach with volcanic sand. On the shore there is an excellent fish restaurant. There are also routes for hiking. I highly recommend it.

You have an amazing ocean View and in the garden you can find fresh banana. The Host Abel and his wife are amazing and super friendly. There is a parking lot as Well. I would recommend to come by car, because the busses are rare. The room has everything you need.
