Location and facilities were fabulous. The over water bungalow with jacuzzi was perfect. Our host Wisham was just amazing and made the stay so much better. We loved having the bikes to ride around the Island and the sports centre was great.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at Emerald Maldives made us feel like family. Every single person was incredibly helpful and genuinely warm, creating an atmosphere that felt both luxurious and incredibly welcoming. As part of our honeymoon, we were touched by the special activities arranged for us, which truly made our stay unique and memorable. Having traveled through Thailand and Malaysia before reaching the Maldives, we can confidently say that Emerald Maldives was the absolute highlight of our entire trip. In June we spent amazing holidays at the Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa. Everything was great. We arrived at Malé Airport where a very friendly staff picked us up and brought us to the Terminal of the sea plane. At the hotel we got extremely warm welcomed. Igga, our personal property manager was amazing. He took good care of us. He made all the bookings for us and was assisting us if we had questions. The food in each restaurant was superb. Even at the buffet you have a big variety of different food (Local food, Indian food, Italian food and a lot more). The staff was always very attentive, friendly and helpful. We are wine lovers and it was totally amazing that there were 4 Sommeliers available. They were all so professional and you absolutely have the feeling that they are doing this job with so much passion. Amit, Cyril and Nash know so much about wine and they always gave us great wines appropriate to our menus we haven chosen. We had a fun and very nice evening at the Asian Restaurant for Teppanyaki. Chef Juber made a great show and the food was so delicious. We booked a water villa and were super happy about that. There is a direct access to the ocean. The room was very big and the bathroom was probably the same size (never seen such a big bathroom). The room and all the facilities were exceptionally clean. A big thank you to all the staff that made our holidays unforgettable. We highly recommend the hotel and hope to come back soon.

Waking up to the sound of the waves, the view of endless blue water and privacy make access like in paradise. The interior was luxurious, spacious and perfectly clean. Food: The hotel offered two main restaurants and a rich buffet. Every meal was a feast – aromatic dishes. Breakfasts with a view of the ocean tasted even better! Attractions: Snorkeling in crystal water, relaxing on the beach. Everything was at the level expected of a truly 5 star resort A place to which I will definitely return. Food was very good and there was a huge variety of changing dishes, a large selection of drinks and snacks that were available 24/7, modern facilities, beautiful and clean accommodation with jacuzzi and well stacked minibar.

A beautiful island resort in the Maldives - we stayed in a Jacuzzi Water Villa for eight nights, which was fabulous. Fantastic cocktails and food as part of our “All Inclusive Plus Package” - we were very ably looked after by Awsam in the Ahima restaurant and Ghassan in the Sunset Bar, both of whom were great and very attentive. The “house reef” is full of life, with an abundance of fish, rays and reef sharks - absolutely stunning. Transfers (via seaplane) were organised by the resort in conjunction with Trans Maldivian Airways - we found the whole process very smooth.

Our stay at Vilu Reef was nothing short of amazing. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade from a beach villa to a sunset reef villa. The views were breathtaking, and the room itself was luxurious and offering perfect romantic setting. To make our stay even more special, the resort decorated our bed beautifully, adding a personal touch that made us feel truly cherished. We also enjoyed a complimentary honeymoon dinner at the WellDone restaurant, where the food was exquisite, and the service was top-notch. Additionally, we were treated to a delightful breakfast in bed, making our mornings extra special. Every aspect of our stay was perfect, thanks to the attentive and caring staff especially Thathi who went above and beyond to ensure our honeymoon was magical. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to return in the future. I highly recommend Sun Siyam Vilu Reef to anyone looking for a romantic and luxurious getaway!i

The view here is just amazing . Small island with white soft sandy beach, convenient to walk everywhere . The staff always great you will big smile on their faces. The food is decent . They have plenty of drinks in their all inclusive package, so many until I need to spend 1 min choosing each time . Our host Muja took good care of us during our stay . he always replied our request in time , and arranged for whatever we need . The breakfast host Rita alway gave us warm welcome during breakfast, she made my morning start with happiness. Our diving experience would not be perfect without our diving instructor Azeem. He took great photos and video for us under the water , and ensure we enjoyed the most of the beautiful reef and fishes safely . I personally think the beach villa is better than the overwater villa, because it’s more quite at night . the current around the over water villa is very strong , so I still walk all the way to the beach side to swim or snorkel .

We had a wonderful stay here , it was our honeymoon and with our son and my parents. The villas are beautiful and very modern. Our host Yash was AMAZING, beautiful human being who helped us with everything we needed and fixed things for us even when we thought they weren’t possible!! This place had the most amazing snorkelling around the resort and we also took a trip with our guide Anto who is THE BEST OF THE BEST, so kind and friendly, amazing at free diving and showing is the best reef and where to snorkel, we saw sea turtles and took beautiful under water pictures. Thank you so much for this experience! Want to mention two other people Reddy from nautilus bar and Spice, amazing guy, super friendly and kind. Always remembered us and what we ordered , we didn’t even have to ask. And the Well done restaurant sommelier , I don’t remember his name but he was from Sri Lanka and what a knowledgeable man , he chose the best wine for us every time and gave us a wonderful experience at the well done wine cellar. Thank you.

We traveled from the airport to the resort in a seaplane by trans Maldivian airways. Waited at their lounge, which was amazing. It had swings, beds, spa, kids zone etc. It was right next to the airport, and was a luxurious lounge with great food and view. Our grandwater pool villa had the best view ever. It had a very big pool and is totally worth the money! At resort, the staff would wish us whenever and wherever they see us and its a very welcoming environment. When we’re eating, staff would come and ask for feedback. Most of the working staff is Indian. Among memorable staff were Vijay, Reddy and Dilshad, who provided good service. Food is expensive but good. Buffets at Aqua restaurant are the best in terms of quantity and quality and speed, and has lots of vegetarian food options. Had the best jalebi rabdi there. Avoid the other two restaurants since you need to wait 1+ hour for the food to arrive, and quantity is less. We did scuba diving, saw fish and corals, learnt from a Russian instructor. Saw Maldivian cultural night show - music and dance. Played table tennis, badminton, and pool. Fed the fish from our deck. Highly recommend a stay at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef!

Sun Siyam Vilu Reef is a paradise in Dhaalu Atoll. the entire structure overlooks a fairytale sea with a spectacular reef and very white beaches. the deluxe beach villa with sea view is spacious, well equipped and equipped with every comfort, including air conditioning, king size bed, bar area, relaxation area, large walk-in wardrobe, life jackets for diving, large garden, a large swing facing the sea. the main restaurant offers a great variety of dishes and excellent raw materials cooked very well. great cleanliness throughout the island, especially in the villas. all the resort staff are very knowledgeable, kind and always ready to satisfy guests' requests with a smile. special thanks to Mr. Shayan and Miss Asmita from Aqua restaurant, Mrs. Ana who assisted us during the stay and Mr. Habib who took care of our room 143, and our requests. perfect wifi throughout the island. excellent care and assistance for transfers to and from Male airport. The spa is fantastic, the girls that are working inside are kind and we could try the relax total body massage. We enjoyed the party with the staff, the drinks and the bottle of anhalcool prosecco that the manager offered to us. This holiday far exceeded our already very high expectations.

Almost everything was great, the friendly staff, location, white sand pristine beach with magical sunsets and good food. the sunset water villa with jacuzzi was private and romantic. the special anniversary flowers and cake made us feel special. Massage at the Mandara Spa was also good.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this resort. Upon arrival, we were offered a trial upgrade from a Beach Superior Loft to a Sunset Water Villa with Jacuzzi – and it was simply breathtaking. To our surprise and delight, the upgrade was extended for the entire stay, which made our holiday truly unforgettable. The resort itself is stunning and beautifully maintained, with every detail thoughtfully taken care of. The all-inclusive services were excellent – from the food and drinks to the attentive and friendly staff, everything exceeded our expectations.

In general, the hotel and island met my expectations. Everything was good. I like the meal menu, my room, the ocean, and the snorkeling area. Being all-inclusive, you can have free drinks everywhere, as well as canoes and sups. Pools, gym, Jacuzzi pool near the gym - everything is fine. Pure Maldives vacation! Even long rains were romantic there.

Very kind stuff and everything was perfectly organized. Stuff was all the time available to help with whatever we needed. Altrough it was windy season they put extraordinary effort to keep all the facilities clean and safe. I read some reviews here that people experienced problem with connection, communication or stuff communication. Obviously Kandima put a lot of effort to improve all that as we didn't experience any problem during our stay. All inclusive was a great value. We had great time at dinners in restaurants Smoked, Sea Dragon and Azure. Also main restaurants were very clean and food was good. Not so many chlices if you expect European food only, but fish and seafood was great. Also, beach jacuzzi villa was great value with direct access to the beach ans very big jacuzzi. Overall, bathroom was like mini spa center. This is our 5th time in Maldives and this is one of the best experience especially as we traveled with a small kid (<2yo).

We arrived before the Christmas period, when there were relatively few people on the island. Therefore, the staff was as attentive and caring as possible. Any request was fulfilled in a matter of minutes. The food was very tasty. There was something new every day. I was pleasantly surprised by the a la carte restaurants. For the first time on all inclusive, I wanted to go to them every day instead of the main restaurant. I highly recommend Sea Dragon. The restaurant has restrictions on the number of dishes that can be ordered at no extra charge, which made them better with higher quality. We had a villa with a toilet and a jacuzzi outside. We were lucky enough to live close to the main restaurant and at the same time it was already quite private. We had our own tame lizard in the bathroom, which ate the spiders that came in. Yes, please note, there were a lot of animals. Even a small snake appeared on the last day. Given that the walls of the room are high and it couldn't get out, it probably lives in the room all the time. But none of these creatures looked dangerous. The hotel is a good combination of a relaxing holiday and entertainment for children. Whatever you decide to do there, it will be comfortable and not boring.

The resort is breathtaking in every respect: the rooms, the beaches, the bars and restaurants and beautiful, well maintained and comfortable. The over water villa was wonderful - spacious and comfortable and tidied twice a day by Amir, who did a great job. We were given a villa close to the restaurant and bar area, which was very convenient, especially for getting drinks to take back to the villa. All the staff in the restaurants and bars very extremely warm, welcoming and attentive. As we walked around the resort, every member of staff we encountered smiled hello. We were assigned someone to oversee our stay and make sure we were informed by WhatsApp of all the activities taking place and the buffet themes each evening. Every meal was excellent - all the on-site restaurants offered delicious food and drinks. The all-inclusive package was ample for our needs and we never felt the need to eat at either of the paid restaurants. We spent two mornings scuba diving and the team at the dive shop and water sports centre were helpful, friendly and took great care of us, especially our dive guide Yaya. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious. We could have stayed for weeks without getting bored of the options available.

The Room was comfortable with a view of the beach and you could go to the beach from the room which was an added bonus. The rooms were clean and comfortable though an upgrade to the facilities especially to the coffee machine would be welcome. The washroom was clean, new and had a separate shower and a tub. The resort has seven restaurants on site and has good food catering to various tastes like Indian to the Anchorage bar which serves Mediterranean. Since I was travelling with family, I spent a lot of time at the pool. The pool facilities are awesome. All in all it it is a nice and comfortable place to visit. The staff is very helpful and courteous and goes out of their way to accommodate individual requests. From Ayla at the Disembarkation area who gives you a detailed description about the resort and its facilities to Abul who is always there to drive you around all in all it was a good holiday.

We had a wonderful stay overall and are already considering coming back. The island was stunning and exceptionally clean. Daily cleaning was carried out on both the beaches and the walking paths, which made the entire environment feel fresh and well-kept. Our room was very clean, spacious, and tidied up every day without exception. The hotel pools were also spotless and well-maintained. The staff were extremely polite and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. Their warm and professional approach made our experience even more pleasant. The food was another highlight — delicious and offered in great variety. We truly enjoyed every meal. Wi-Fi was reliable and fast across all areas of the island, which was a nice surprise, especially considering the remote location. Swimming with reef sharks and a variety of colorful fish was a truly unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip. If we were to make a small suggestion, it would be regarding the speed of service at the restaurants. On a few occasions, even when it wasn’t particularly busy, we had to wait nearly an hour for our order. That said, this was not a daily issue and didn’t significantly affect our overall satisfaction. All in all, it was a fantastic holiday and we’d love to return in the future.

Our stay at Sheraton Full Moon Resort was absolutely perfect, especially with kids. From the moment we arrived at the airport, the staff was attentive and welcoming, ensuring a smooth transfer to the resort. The entire experience, from check-in to check-out, was seamless and well-organized. The resort itself exceeded our expectations — beautifully maintained, clean, and family-friendly. The accommodations were comfortable, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a relaxing family getaway. The kids loved the safe and inviting environment, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special.

Veel variatie. Echt een intercontinentaal ontbijt Big kingsize bed, we could sleep with our 2 children on the bed, so in total 4 man could sleep on the bed. The room was very spacious, we had a villa with private pool and my parents had a deluxe room with island view. Both spacious rooms, the service was very good. All the staff were helpfull and nice. The buggy did helped my dad many times, because he could not walk far from the room to the restaurants. It is a big resort with al kind of things, like spa, kidzone with a bunch of kids activities, great restaurants and a medical clinic. My dad fell and we went to the clinic and they helped him so much with good care and bandaged the wounds. The doctor and the nurse Neelima werd very helpfull and kind. The chef of the restaurant ChopstiX Prafulla was so good in his work, what a good cook. Also the lady from ChopstiX Mita is such a sweet employee. She talk with the whole family and offer children something sweet like a piece of cake, my children loved that so much. The rooms were very good and clean. The bathroom in our villa was so great and big. We had a shower, a bathtub and 2 sinks so great and calming environment. Love it!!More

We had the most amazing time at The Lily Beach and Spa Resort. The resort is beautifully laid out - our beach Vila was stunning! It was just idyllic to walk out of the patio door and be on the stunning white beach. We were particularly blown away by the bathroom which was semi outside and breathtaking! The meals in the buffet were absolutely delicious and so varied. Always something for everyone’s taste. We particularly loved the wonderfully spiced curries- the fresh tuna steaks and reef fish cooked by the BBQ man. The egg chef at breakfast made delicious omelettes and eggs Benedict- the juices and fresh fruit were fantastic!!! I could go on … A visit to the Tamarind restaurant is a must. The drinks throughout the resort bars were wonderful. The young bar man at the beach bar Binoy made super cocktails and was so gracious and friendly. Couldn’t fault the Tattinger and moet champagne and the vast wine menu. Absolutely 5 star plus! We will definitely be back!

We spent a few incredible days diving with the Pro Diver team at Lily Beach, including joining one of their amazing clean-up dives. Ludo, Alessia, Coll, and Svenja are an absolute credit to the dive center — professional, attentive, and full of passion for what they do. From the very first dive, they made sure everything was comfortable and safe. They checked in on us and our gear regularly, the equipment was excellent, and the dive briefs were by far the most thorough we’ve ever experienced. The chalkboard illustrations were brilliant — clear, detailed, and a touch that really set them apart. The dives themselves were unforgettable. Kudarah was breathtaking, and the Manta cleaning station was an unreal experience — one we’ll never forget. Throughout every dive, the team’s great sense of humor, knowledge, and genuine love for the underwater world shone through, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. Diving with Ludo, Alessia, Coll, and Svenja felt like diving with friends who happen to be some of the most professional and fun dive masters we’ve ever met. They balance safety with fun perfectly, and their passion is contagious. If you’re at Lily Beach, diving with this team is a must. Thank you all for giving us such special memories underwater — highly, highly recommended!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lily Beach Resort in the Maldives. From start to finish, it was the perfect family getaway. We loved spending time at Vibes, where we enjoyed hours of fun playing pool, table tennis, foosball, darts, and board games together. We also made great use of the AstroTurf, where we football as a family. It was such fun watching the staff play each evening and then having the chance to join in ourselves! The evening shark feeding quickly became a highlight of our stay — our children insisted on watching it every single night. The food was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed Lily Maa, which offered an impressive buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a wonderful variety of fresh and delicious dishes. We also dined at Tamarind one evening and loved the exquisite Thai and Indian menu. The food was excellent, and the relaxed, intimate atmosphere made it a memorable dining experience. The staff were exceptional — so kind, welcoming, and always willing to help. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made our stay special. And of course, the crystal-clear water surrounding the island was absolutely breathtaking. The snorkelling right off our balcony was some of the best we’ve ever experienced. We highly recommend booking a Lagoon Villa or overwater villa to take advantage of the easy access to snorkeling — it was fantastic in every way. Thank you, Lily Beach, for an unforgettable holiday. A resort with a wide variety of activities for everyone. Perfect for families – free access to pedal boats, paddleboards, kayaks, and more. The Vibe Club with its pool, billiards and table football is great fun, and the kids’ club is absolutely fantastic – every day offers a new program including water sports and beach cinema evenings. It’s led by Ms. Anjo, whom all the children adore – she’s simply wonderful. There’s also a nice playground for the little ones. For couples and adults, there are kids-free zones and an adults-only pool, an excellent PADI diving center with great instructors (offering courses including the “Bubble Maker” program for children aged 8+), and a lovely wellness & spa. The resort offers a wide range of daily and evening activities, as well as excursions – some included in the stay, others available for an extra fee – such as snorkeling with manta rays and whale sharks, dolphin safaris, and more. All trips are organized in small groups with very professional and attentive guides. The island itself is relatively small, lush, clean, and beautifully maintained, with a smart and logical layout. It features a stunning house reef that surrounds the entire island (complete snorkeling equipment is available free of charge for the whole stay). The overall atmosphere is peaceful and friendly. The staff are genuinely caring and attentive – we were looked after by Nada and Shah at reception, who answered all our questions and arranged everything we needed.

First to start with the diving - we had utterly fantastic diving, the dive team were incredibly friendly, helpful and professional. It is one of the best dive teams we have dived with as a family and the attention to ensure everything was perfect was impressive with great attention to both safety and fun. All of the instructors - Ludwig, Svenja, Col, Alessia, Atheef and Muneer were outstanding in their support and my kids aged 17.15 and 12 absolutely loved diving with this team!! They made such an effort to show us interesting and different things and of course manta sightings still incredible. Food was very good and varied (at times in buffet it could have been hotter). Drinks were good but cocktails at the beach bar and coldness of the drinks could be improved (it was not as good as last year). Front desk service was significantly more disorganised than our last trips 2 and 3 years ago - bills incorrect, lack of information, group split for return flight. It was also disappointing that despite the weather and the fact we are return guests little to no effort was made to appreciate the return guest status and a lot of requests were no or pay extra. Overall 5 stars due to diving but otherwise probably would be a 3/4 now.

Everything was amazing. This is the definition of a perfect vacation. The island is amazing, with an unforgettable house reef and all possible marine life, perfect for snorkeling and diving. The team at the restaurant and the reception are simply the best. The spa is also worth the experience with professional team and reasonable pricelist. Being guests of Komandoo, we had the possibility to book lunch at the 5.8 underwater restaurant at a sister hotel located on another island, and we liked the experience very much.

The water villa was perfect - loved the four-poster bed and private terrace with the ocean view that led straight into the water for great snorkeling. Staff were superb - cheerful, friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay special. A shout out to Saeed and his room decorations, Amar who organised the birthday surprises, Wahab for looking after us a mealtimes and his extra help, along with Annis and Suchi. And, of course, Alex and the kitchen staff who made sure we had great food. A very well organised and safe dive centre and dive boat with guides Fabs, Mel, and staff that made diving fun and relaxed. A nice spa. It's not on the water but the service and treatments were great. And, finally, to Navaz for making the time to chat to us. Hoping to be back soon.

The Buffet was sensational, every meal...breakfast, lunch and dinner. The beach was clean and beautiful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The bar area with live entertainment was very inviting.

food was excellent in the main buffet restaurant, with plenty of choice. Aqua restaurant was also superb. Staff in the restaurants and bar were all fantastic. The resort is small, with only 65 rooms, making it very cosy and quiet.

Everything was perfect. This was our first time in Maldives and not the last for sure. Beautiful island 🏝️ and people. Everyone was very nice and friendly, food was good. We had a lot of activities there. There are a lot of reefs there and it’s perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. We liked that it’s a small island and you can relax. Every night they had different entertainment in the bar and live music also. On the New Year’s night we had the best gala dinner, so much different food 🍣🍤🍓🥥🍞🦐🫕🥩🍍🍕🍰

We had a great stay at the hotel. Everyone was friendly and professional. Super helpful at all times. We stayed in the King Suite with jacuzzi. The suite was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy and bathroom was large and the water was clean. Triton Prestige Seaview is on the north east side of the island which is a bit quiter than the north and north west which has all the tourist buzz and crowds which is more relaxing but everything is still a relatively short walk away so its pretty convenient. The jacuzzi was large and can fit a couple, there is also another regular bathtub in the bathroom which was great. The rooftop pool had a great view and was pretty nice. Decent size and depth. They also offer drinks delivered to the pool which was a plus. We also arranged a romantic beach dinner which was almost ruined due to heavy rain and had to be moved indoors, but when the rain got less heavy they rearranged the setting outside and set up the cabana again for us for the experience which we greatly appreciate. We were picked up at airport by speedboat but we needed to waited an hour to on board Then our luggage was picked up by staff and delivered to our room We had half board plan which was dinner and breakfast Dinner had beef and chicken every night with rice and noodles and salad and bread and fruits You can also have dinner at the beach which is amazing Breakfast had a fresh made omelette station Pancake, bread , juice, hot dog, potato, cereal, fruits Very basic but we were happy about it We only paid 100 a night with room and food I won’t expect too much but this is over rated with the money I had paid Hotel had tour Half day snorkeling($30) , island hopper ($50-60) swim with shark Those are the signature tour and it was amazing so much fun Go pro pictures are also included There are so much amazing things to say about this hotel Upon departure the staff helps us schedule the speed boat with other hotel from airport since we were transferring to a different resort Now the mirror issues I have requested 2 beds when I booked the hotel and I also sent in the reminder about the bedding but we still end up one bed You can’t really swim in front of the hotel

From the moment we stepped on maafushi we were welcomed from the hotel . A buggy was a couple of step away and our luggages were taken care of. With a little quick island tour we were taken to the hotel and the checkin process was so smooth . It was great service from Sachin from reception to make it all happen . Seeing his smile was enough to make all our worries go away . The room was excellent quality and the amenities were more than enough for our short stay . Truly amazing view of the ocean at the 5th floor with a balcony filled with privacy . I observed how other hotels had constructed their balcony but triton prestige went beyond expectation for privacy. The next day we planed to go to the beach and staffs understood and guided us to the beach and also assisted with the best and the most comfortable sun-bed from the whole beach . There are so many staffs around and attentive. The breakfast also had amazing options and staff were attentive as well . Monir was one of the best server there he knew me and he was always smiling and engaging . Even-though i came late to breakfast he didnt show any frustration kept his smile from his heart and it really meant alot . And to even sum it up we had like 2 hours after check out still they offered to use their pool facilities and shower as well .. It is very happy to know that they are still in service for us until we take out last steps out of the island . Thank you all for this anticipatory and making this trip memorable .

The view was amazing. We enjoyed relaxing at the balcony area and just taking in the sea/sky view. Professional and friendly staff who provided prompt service. Highly recommended to take up the hotel's speedboat round trip shuttle from/to the airport (60 usd pp) and their half-day snorkeling tour (30 pp). In fact, they offer many tour/spa packages; it was a pity we only had time to try out one but that half-day tour was absolutely fantastic - they know what they are doing and you would be in good hands. Breakfast buffet had a live egg station and the omelette was delicious. The staff was attentive in getting drink orders and clearing plates. Clean and spacious room -- Good housekeeping.

The room was cozy, clean and nice. I didn’t like the smell of the disinfectant they used to clean the room (like lysol smell) as it was too strong but thats not so much of a complaint. Breakfast buffet was good with many choices. Their dinner buffet was good too and reasonably priced ($12-$15). The view from the pool above was nice too. The restaurant staff were pleasant and friendly especially one called Alum. He was very helpful. The massage at the spa was also good.

Emerald Maldives was 10 out of 10 stars for my husband and I! We stayed at the Water Villa with Jacuzzi. From the moment we got in touch with their Reservation team prior to the arrival, I asked a bunch of questions from seaplane, weather, food/restaurant options, etc. The moment we arrived at Male airport, we had someone take us to the Seaplane ticket counter, then to the shuttle bus to take us to the seaplane terminal. Once we arrived at the seaplane terminal, we got to enjoy an hour ish at the lounge till our departure. Our seaplane ride was about 45-50 minutes as we had to stop at 2 resorts prior to arriving at Emerald. We arrived at the resort and we had a nice welcome with some music and champagne. Once we relaxed for a bit, we met with our villa host Shiham and he took us to the check-in reception then took a quick tour of the island then to our water villa. Everything was great! From the friendly staffs to the food, we enjoyed everything! The villas were super clean and I cannot thank all the staffs there as everything went smoothly from start to finish. They also decorated the bed to say “Welcome” with leaves and champagne when we arrived and then the day before we were leaving, they decorated saying “Happy Honeymoon!” and also they added some flowers in the bathtub. We hope we can visit again one day but I definitely recommend Emerald Maldives!!

This place is stunning. We stayed in an over water bungalow with a pool and it was fabulous. The bed was so comfortable! The view was gorgeous and we loved relaxing on our private hammock. Sadly we didn’t have the best weather on our trip (was rainy/cloudy/windy for 2/4 full days and rainy/cloudy on both of the travel days) but the staff and hotel still made the experience unforgettable. There is really cool snorkeling right off the aqua beach and we saw so many fish! We saw a baby manta ray from our water bungalow! We also saw a turtle on our coral garden snorkeling experience. I loved the bats, chameleons, and reef sharks. We were worried we might get in our 5 night stay but we could have easily stayed 7-10 days. There is so much to do and the food is great. We especially loved the buffets at aqua and all of the diverse options. Everything is included - unlimited drinks, mini bar, and breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was super relaxing and the staff are all wonderful and friendly. We went for our honeymoon and they gave us a bottle of champagne, a private dinner on the beach, a free dolphin cruise (sadly we didn’t see any dolphins), a couples massage (which was really good), and Lhaantey and Faya made us a wonderful honeymoon display/set up in our bungalow with chocolate cake, a bath tub with rose petals, and a beautiful display on the bed. Only feedback is we wish we had known about the app before we arrived so we could have pre-booked more activities.

We had an absolutely amazing holiday here for our tenth wedding anniversary. We stayed in a superior water villa and it was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The staff here really set the hotel apart from other places: Wisham, our villa host, was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and he was always available to help with questions at all times of the day and night! Siri at the beach grill was always welcoming and had an incredible memory for names and preferences. Vikas looked after us during the gala dinner and our anniversary dinner on the beach the following night. Both times we had an amazing time, and it was so special to eat at such a beautifully decorated table so close to the sea. Nazmul kept our villa looking spotless, and left us wonderful decorative touches on our anniversary and last night. We really appreciated the food and beverage manager arranging such a nice table for us at the gala dinner. We consistently felt that the staff would go the extra mile to make our experience special, and nothing was too much trouble. We went on the lucky dolphin trip and we were fortunate enough to see an amazing number of dolphins close up. We also really enjoyed Indian head massages at the spa. The sunset bar had delicious drinks and an amazing view, and the food at Asiatique was especially delicious.

Emerald Maldives Resort & Spa was absolutely amazing and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in an overwater villa that was breathtaking and Aneeth made sure of it everyday with his exceptional room service and housekeeping. Our room was gorgeous and well worth it as we got sunrise and sunset views with the ocean as our backdrop. The rooms were very clean and quite spacious. Service was exceptional and consistent throughout the whole resort! The staff were so kind and went above and beyond for everything throughout our stay. Shout out to all the amazing staff that we got to meet: Shakti, Azu, Nitin, Bikram, Jimmy, Sam, Nappe, Ankit, Azute, Igga and Nash. There were many more that I apologize for not remembering all the names. It was a very family friendly resort and was great with kids. My children had so much fun mingling with the kitchen and wait staff that meal times became so pleasant and easy. They would rather eat than go to the kids club. We enjoyed the variety of food and restaurants that were available as there were various restaurants to go to and change it up for lunch and dinners. We loved riding our bikes around the island and had so much fun on all our excursions and activities. We saw manta rays and turtles as promised while snorkeling, saw dolphins and even pilot whales during the cruise. We can't wait to be able to come back and visit again.

Incredible trip for our honeymoon! We are just back from our trip to Emerald and missing it already. Everything from the moment we landed to departure was truly exceptional. The rooms are stunning and really well maintained, food delicious and an incredible selection of drinks and wine as well. What made it for us was the service and level of attention to detail from the staff. We have to give particular thanks to Rohit, Alok, KD, Pritam, Nappe who all went above and beyond to ensure our honeymoon was incredible. Our butler, Sid, deserves a mention on his own as well because of the level of incredible service he provided us all week. Sid was amazing at ensuring we had everything we needed and made our experience. We also highly recommend the spa and the fishing trip excursion as they were great. In terms of restaurants the beach grill at lunch we highly recommend the seafood risotto, our favourite restaurant in the evening was the beach grill and asiatique. The gala dinner was great fun and some amazing food. We enjoyed a Padel lesson as well which was really enjoyable and the coach was incredibly skilled We will definitely be returning, thank you to everyone at Emerald

We have stayed in the Sunset Water Villa with the jacuzzi and it was really amazing. The room is beautiful, bed is comfortable, terrace is amazing. But nothing in this world cannot beat that view. It is truly the most beautiful view ever. I highly recommend to book this particular villa.

We have stayed in the Sunset Beach Villa with the Jacuzzi and it was really amazing. It is very clean and comfortable and the beach is right outside. To be honest, I prefer the Water Villa for the view, but wanted to try both and was happy with the choice. Sunset from this villa is truly spectacular. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was great, with many varieties.

It’s a truly magical place to unwind and find peace. The staff is attentive, kind, and always ready to help — incredibly friendly too. The facilities are modern, spotless, and very comfortable. The views and the beach are absolutely stunning. The apartment, with its sea views, private jacuzzi, and direct staircase access to the ocean, was simply unbeatable. I truly hope to return someday.

Overall, Nova is a wonderful place. On arrival our room was upgraded to one with jacuzzi, what was super surprise. Villa on water was spacious and modern, super clean with wonderful ocean view. Lots of colorful fishes, sharks just outside. Nice reef around. Good variety of food. In all in package quite good variety of drinks. Beautifull clean beach, a lot of space for everyone. And last but not least, fantastic service - people are a great advantage of this place.

The island is truly a paradise. The attention received from the moment you arrive at the resort until you leave is fabulous. We stayed in water sunset villa with jacuzzi and it met our expectations. The attention from Hussain our hostes was lovely, he explained absolutely everything to us and we were in contact with him all the time to sort out any inconvenience. The food in the restaurant is very varied and tasty. Always very clean. The waiters are very professional, friendly and are always smiling and attentive. We would love to return to paradise!!!

Everything was exceptional! The staff was so kind! Great compliments to our host Adelaida, Hassan from the restaurant and Mausoon our housekeeper. Our beach villa was dreamy. A good spot for snorkelling. The jacuzzi was a perfect add on. The food was delicious and had different menus everyday, with different options. We couldn't be happier to have chosen Veligandu to spend our honeymoon.

Food was very variated with high quality and a lot of options. Room amazing with jacuzzi with direct view to the see. The staff very friendly and helpful, they compensated a delay to go to the island with a sunset boat trip and late check out including lunch. Great experience in a great island resort.

Our jacuzzi water villa was awesome! Spacious, always clean and the right amenities made it a very special getaway to celebrate our 30th anniversary. The whole island is absolutely beautiful! Veligandu is the best hotel we have ever been and we have traveled a lot and been to Maldives several times. We had been here 9 years ago and it is still amazing. We have stayed in the Sunset Jacuzzi Beach Villas. They are more expensive but it is worth every cent. The snorkeling is amazing. In the sunset part you can see all kinds of fish species including several sharks. On the sunrise part from the pole through all the floats you can see an amazing shark and turtles. I have "lived" 45 min with a turtle. What an experience. The food is out of this world. The only thing they could get better is to have a coffee machine for cappuccino and expresso at Breakfast. No need to bring shoes. Everyone goes around bare foot. The sunset is just amazing and being in the water until there is the moon and stars in the sky is gorgeous. The Gala Dinner at Christmas is very worth it and a true experience. We all ate at the beach, feet in the sand, stars above you... what can you ask for more? The staff is0 very attentive and kind. Always willing to help and give us the best time possible. Our room attendant, Ashad, always kept our room pristine and every now and again included a amazing leaf art on our bed. As we were returning clients, they were really appreciative of that and went the extra mile with gifts.

Where can I start! Our trip to Fushifaru Maldives was EXCEPTIONAL! It was our first time in the Maldives and we went for our honeymoon for 6 nights in an overwater villa in December 2021 from the United States! This resort makes you forget the long flights and makes it so worth it. From arriving to Male airport to going to the lounge and the beautiful seaplane transfer and views, and then having a host and everyone being super helpful and nice. Totally recommend this little piece of heaven. It’s very clean and very cute and you will have the time of your life. Thank you Chelsea for being the most professional and best host, he took care of everything we needed anf he was one call away always! all the amazing staff makes you feel like family. The food at the buffet restaurant is amazing and they have live cooking stations every day and different shows at night. We had a chance to be at the Christmas Gala dinner and it was fabulous! The hosts, waiters and waitresses, chefs and everyone on the island welcomes you and greets you. Thanks for this unforgettable stay and for making our honeymoon the best ever! I’m hopinh I didn’t forget anyone but Vimal was our waiter every day and he was amazing remembering what we liked! We loved the island and the staff! It’s a perfect size for a small resort which makes you feel like you’re family. The island itself is beautiful with lots of wildlife and beautiful greenery. The staff are amazing!! Everyone was so friendly, the waitstaff are very helpful and accommodating. And our host for our stay was always willing to help, make sure we were happy and to arrange everything for us smoothly - we loved Diksha! We had an electrical issue with our villa and they were so quick to fix it and then surprise us with a gift for the inconvenience. The views from our villa were stunning and we loved watching the fish swim by and play in the light off the dock at night. The food was also delicious! I loved the. Story at the buffet and the food at Raakani and Teppanyaki was delicious. We did all-inclusive and I highly recommend! We loved that it included so many drink, food and activities. We had a 50-min couples massage included, delicious drinks, great set menu options at the specialty restaurants, and even an excursion! Totally worth it in our opinion! Everything about our stay was wonderful and dreamy! 🤩 we highly recommend!

Just returned after spending two great weeks at Fushifaru in a perfectly located Beach Villa with easy access to a quiet stretch of the beach and the crystal clear water. We had a very relaxed stay appreciating the pleasant and supportive staff all around the resort with the small chats from time to time. And we liked the buffet in Korakali with the tasty and well prepared dishes with good variety to serve different preferences. Many thanks to the chefs and the staff in the kitchen and restaurant, you did great every day A special thanks to our host Jen for taking good care of us during our stay and for always reacting fast to our needs. And a big thanks to Reshan and Utshab at Best Divers Diving Center for taking good care of us and guiding us through some great dive experiences (the night dives at Kuredu Wreck were awesome with different species of sharks following us during the dive). You guys are top professional, attentive to and engaged in the diving while at the same time being really nice to spend some plesant hours with during dive trips and in the water. Fushifaru is a great resort in a great location, a destination we fully recommend for your next holiday

Incredible stay! Completely blown away by the beauty, absolute paradise! The island is stunning & walking barefoot everyday in pristine sandy beach vibes was a dream come true... From the deluxe jacuzzi beach front villa to the unreal food... I am vegan food I chose this place because of the sustainability factor and reviews on the vegan options and wow the food was exceptional, I have travelled to many places & worked on cruise ships, been all over & the buffet vegan options were outstanding! Never ever been to a buffet like it. They treated me like royalty bringing dishes out to me everyday, even though more than enough options labelled in the buffet. I miss the desserts already! A special thank you to the whole kitchen team... and especially Chef rajesh, Chef sanath, Chef thilimi, Chef riju, Chef bibin, Chef saurau and all the kitchen team excellent food! I will miss it so much... so if you're vegan I highly recommend! Choosing this place felt like the right choice as I'm aware you may not get these kind of options elsewhere. Also a special thanks to Ahnaa on reception for her kindness, for 19 years old her customer service and positive attitude is amazing! Thank you to the sea explorer team for my visit to see and swim with the turtles and Manta Rays... what an experience. We initially came to the Reethi Faru Resort in the Maldives for a brief and quality relaxing holiday as I am engaged in the Finance Risk segment in the UK with a significantly demanding agenda. Upon approaching the jetty and glancing at the ‘water landing platform’ from the speedboat I was immediately enchanted by the serene beauty of the resort amidst a magnificent location amidst a gulf of white sandy beaches intertwined with bright green flora and surrounded by crystal blue ocean lagoon !! The resort is exceptionally clean, well-managed, easily accessible and offers an exquisite combination of a variety of activities amidst picturesque scenery and an exclusive selection of beach and water villa accommodation ! The Resort warmly welcomed us and immediately with our arrival exhibited professionalism, exceptional service, attentive attitude and positively energetic behaviour towards meeting our needs on a routine basis. The Front Office Manager Tanu demonstrated professionalism, competency, responsiveness and value added service to ensure we have a convenient and memorable stay !

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at Villu Reef and loved every second of our stay. We originally booked a Deluxe Beach Villa (BB) and whilst there upgraded to the Jacuzzi Honey Moon Suite for 6 nights. I would definitely recommend going (BB) as this gives you more options for lunch and dinner. If you decide to have the Buffet which we did on average every 2nd eve you can pay at the end of your stay. We found that lunch & Dinner at the Sunset Bar was a great option instead of the Buffet which we never did for lunch time. The food was delicious with a lot of choice however as I'm pregnant couldn't enjoy as much of the fish dishes as I would have liked to but overall we really enjoyed every meal. We loved the Beach Villa, the best location for the Villa is on the snorkeling side. There is a very windy side of the island and the non windy side located by the snorkeling. I'd recommend requesting a room that side if you can, we were lucky. The Water Villas although stunning are all facing the windy side so the tide can get very choppy making it difficult to swim with some strong currents. The views and decking area are spectacular but we tended to go to the snorkeling area to swim and relax on the beach so a beach villa works out great from that perspective. Overall the Staff were fantastic and very friendly and loved our stay so much that we didn't want to leave ! Very sad to be sitting back at work today. I highly recommend this island for your holiday !

Splendid resort island, lots to see and do. Great weather with minor spells of rain. Always stayed around 30 degrees Celsius, rarely overcast. Plenty of trips to choose from such as snorkeling, diving, dolphin cruise, whale shark excursion, etc. We went on two excursions, both had a lot to see, most of which we haven't seen elsewhere in the world (the marine life). Room was very clean with great staff member Habib coming daily to tend to the room. He always checked with us to be sure we had everything we needed and always did more than we expected. He was very friendly and happy to chat. The room was a deluxe beach villa and it certainly felt deluxe with 3 different seats/beds to choose from and a seating area next to the bed, all of which very comfortable and clean. Aircon in the room was just what we needed, I found myself regularly going into the room just to cool off for 10 minutes then return outside. The bathroom had two showers one under cover and one with only the blue sky above it. Across much of the resort, it was very peaceful and easy to find private areas to enjoy the views. Restaurants were great with lots of choice. 2 of the restaurants were booking only but well worth attending. The other was a buffet style restaurant, somewhat more relaxed. All in all great holiday and would recommend to anyone wanting a memorable tropical trip.

We spent our honeymoon at Sun Siyam, and it was truly a dream come true. From the very beginning, the team pampered us with romantic experiences — a private candlelight dinner on the beach, a honeymoon cake, breakfast in bed, and even a magical cinema under the stars by the ocean. Dining was an absolute highlight. We enjoyed many delicious dinners at Spices, Aqua, and Well-done Grill. The chef Mr. Koshal at Spices prepared an unforgettable Thali dinner, and the chef Pritney and kitchen team at Aqua served us the most flavorful Maldivian fish and meat curries. Every meal was outstanding. The staff made our stay even more special. Niyaaf was an amazing host who took care of us throughout. Reddy, Shayan, Ali, Amit, Saraa and Praveen were excellent waiters — so friendly and attentive that they felt like family by the end of our trip. Rima and Sham were also so kind and warm, adding to the wonderful hospitality. We enjoyed many memorable activities, such as a dolphin trip and a fishing trip, both made extra special by the captain and crew. A cultural Maldivian evening with traditional music and dance was another lovely touch that we will always remember. And the massage Balinese team were amazing including Febi. And Sunnie, the photographer took photos of us in the sunset. Our honeymoon at Sun Siyam was everything we hoped for — romantic, joyful, and filled with unforgettable moments. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a magical escape in the Maldives.

The island is obviously paradise, but what made this experience for my daughter and me was the staff. They are the most welcoming, friendly and accommodating people you could ever meet. From Bashnet who took such great care of our villa to the amazing bar staff at Positive Energy who prepared the best cocktails on the island. We only ate at 2 of the restaurants, Aqua and Well Done and Aqua wins hands down! Rita welcomed us every time with a smile and was just lovely! The waiting staff are so friendly and helpful. The chefs are a different class altogether! Chaminda’s food was amazing as was Farouk’s. Unfortunately we did not get the name of the wonderful chef who prepared the omelettes in the morning and the grill in the evening. He was relentless in his energy and enthusiasm and even helped my daughter prepare burritos for me. An absolute credit to the staff is BP who gave my daughter the best mixologist experience. What a night! Thank you BP. The wildlife and marine life are stunning and although we did not see any dolphins on the sunset cruise we did see loads of flying fish! The cruise itself was a wonderful experience on its own. Finally, huge thanks to our island host Simaal who took amazing care of us. This trip was a dream come true and we are still pinching ourselves that we got to experience this amazing island. Vilu Reef will always have a special place in our hearts.

We had the best experience at this resort. Everything from the sea plane lounge where you can get a complementary massage, and the children could expel some energy at the softplay. When we landed at Vilu Reef, we were greeted with the most spectacular views and the warmest staff. Our butler villa assistant - Habib kept the rooms spotless, and was the kindest person for our entire stay. You would be lucky to have him! The spice restaurant - Ali and Reddy were so kind to our children, especially our youngest boy who has disabilities and hi fived him every lunch and dinner. The Asian curries were the best we have ever had. The food at well done was perfect, and the setting was very special. The buffet at Aqua was brilliant and I can’t remember the names, but the male waiters aqua were very attentive. We had a lot of cocktails and they were all brilliant. Our room was right outside the reef. 3m from the shoreline so it was perfect to snorkel with young children. We saw the most spectacular marine life. We are very sad to leave and loved this very special island.

The hotel is centrally located surrounded by 2 beaches, all the shops and restaurants and the harbour from which the excursions and transfers leave. The hotel staff, especially Shamil at reception, are very welcoming, polite and go out of their way to make one's stay exceptional. They are very well organised yet relaxed so that one gets into the holiday mood right at check in. I also loved that the hotel (as Triton tours) arrange excursions themselves, which are more than competitively prices by giving a further $5 discount per person, and one gets accompanied from the hotel to the harbour and then handed to some amazing guides, especially MD Murad, Liton and Mark who make the whole experience fun, safe and very relaxing even when the sea is rough. Another impressive point about the hotel was the amazing massages provided in the Spa, especially by therapist Annie, who literally unlocked my shoulder in just one Balinese massage, in which she specialises.

I truly loved everything about the hotel. The staff was 10/10, I really felt supported throughout our whole stay. Food was great, specially the dinner! I told the staff that they need to tell the chef how amazing the food was! I really wish we can go back and visit them again in the future! We felt like we made multiple new friends. The room was nice and tidy with a small balcony. It was perfect. My partner had an injury in the end of our trip so he needed to go to the hospital every single day for antibiotics and check ups and they helped us tremendously! They are the nicest staff, so helpful and I cannot thank them enough for their effort on helping us. I am not even sure what we could've done without Triton Beach Hotel & Spa. Even with the all the bad things that were happening with my partner, we had the best time there!

Everything was very good was clean and air con was on and also the staff was very friendly and help full with everything even restaurants staff was very professional and clean nice food and very friendly

I stayed in Triton Beach Hotel & Spa for seven days and it was absolutely amazing. The staff is friendly, always smiling, and they go the extra mile to make your stay pleasant. There was especially one waiter during breakfast (unfortunately I didn’t get his name), who was really attentive and helpful.

Very nice hotel, 2 mins walk to the beach and very close to shops, cafes and restaurants, very clean. Staff was very nice and very helpful, they did everything to ensure our stay was great. Room was spacious and clean.
