A smart, modern, nicely Finished hotel with welcoming staff and a very nice, quiet and comfortable good sized room. Breakfast was a nice quality selection too, and the restaurant looks out over the local scenery which was nice.

Spacious room with en-suite . Air con was a bonus and WiFi has been opened up. On site gourmet restaurant was excellent and breakfast was just as good with homemade produce.

Set in a beautiful location, very clean and comfortable room and a delicious breakfast. Great value for money, we’ll be back!

The hotel is very charming and cosy. The staff is welcoming, smiling and very helpful. Breakfast and diner were excellent!

everyone was so nice there, the staff took great care of me. if you’re looking for a super modern hotel and can’t deal with old timey keys then it’s not for you but if you’re looking for a relaxed, charming spot with top service and excellent breakfast, then this is your spot. Beautiful rural location with great cycling and hiking from the hotel. Close to town with restaurants and shops. Very comfortable room . Interesting modern design, quirky with very large gardens to relax Staff could not have been more helpful when we arrived early and with all of our queries. Highly recommend.

Great clamping location. We loved the provided food for dinner and breakfast which you could prepare yourself over the BBQ. A proper adventure for my boys. The staff was very friendly and our clamping tent wry cosy.

Super kids-friendly. Kids can run, play football in the outdoor areas and that’s totally fine. Relaxes ambience which makes it easy for families. Although small, the pool is beautiful and good for kids. The room isn’t big but is just fine for a family of 5. The idea is to spend time out of the room anyways. All clean and the communal areas are very cosy and relaxed. It is a beautiful building and the green areas are well maintained. We definitely recommend it for a family with kids.

We appreciated the complimentary coffee, water and tea in the room, and the room itself was well-equipped with everything we needed: a safe, hairdryer, ironing facilities, TV, air conditioning, phone, and a bathroom hood. The breakfast was very rich and offered a wide variety of options, which we really enjoyed. However, the dinner options were a bit limited.

Great location, remodeled room(s), clean comfortable beds & pillows, good shower, very professional friendly staff. Good restaurant/bar.

We stay here every year in November while visiting the Thermes of Spa. We noticed a great change in the hotel since it became a Van der Valk Hotel. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. There was a great atmosphere in the bar/lounge and the decor was lovely. The breakfast was incredible! The staff were lovely and replenished everything very regularly. The choice was amazing. I particularly loved the fresh smoked salmon. We are already looking forward to coming back!

Our stay was really great! The highlights were the welcoming staff, our room, which was spacious, quiet (despite being next to an elevator) and had a nice view to Spa centre, possibility to go to the Thermes in a bathrobe provided by the hotel, absolutely stunning breakfast.

Overall, it was a very nice experience, the stuff was helpful and the hotel is modern and comfortable, the room was above expectations. Gluten-free bread and fresh juice and smoothies for breakfast.

The location in the Hautes Fagnes is an area of natural beauty, cooler than Brussels (nice on a hot summer day) and close to the highest point in Belgium. The hotel has professional staff. The wellness center is nice if not so big: indoor pool, nice places to lay outside, outdoor hot tub, two saunas outside; one sauna, one hammam, and one hot tub inside. It is good for a 3-hour session. The room had a sitting room in addition to the bedroom, which gave it a spacious feel. The breakfast has various options and is nice space and you can even take your coffee outside with standing tables. The hotel offers a lot of massages and other wellness activities. There are even alpacas available for taking a hike and other activities. It was nice to see that the hotel has moved to be sustainable with a solar PV facility.

It’s super nice and Cozy with awesome wellness facilities . Perfect for a couple/family retreat to spend a quiet time !

The room was very clean, the wellness wasn’t crowded of people so we could really enjoy it, friendly staff, view of the room to a beautiful nature area.

Wonderful location for a visit to Spa-Francorchamps. Modern rooms, with private badroom/shower/toilet. A wonderful breakfast is included and there is an offering of coffee and local Belgian beers. Nice and quiet as well, with great views. My preferred spot if I am going to Spa-Francorchamps.

We had a perfect stay! The room and bed were so comfortable, with a great view across the hills from our bedroom. Breakfast was varied and tasty, and our communication with the host was perfect!

The hosts were wonderful, everything feels very home-like. The location is beautiful and the breakfast with home-grown berries and eggs from their own chickens was lovely. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi after a long day walking.

We visited during a bike trip (Stoneman) and were greeted by the very open, friendly hosts and other travelers. The place has an amazing atmosphere. Drinks can be taken from the bar and payed on a trust basis. A major highlight were the heated pool and Whirlpool, something we did not except in such a lovely little town! Breakfast was amazing and made with eggs from their own hen house. Very much recommended!

Clean,very nice,all is new. Only 3 rooms for guests and one big kitchen with free tea and coffee. There is a big terrace with free jacuzzi. Very friendly owners

The owner helped us out with accommodation at the very last minute of a busy GP weekend. The lodge was clean tidy and perfect for our needs

Very spacious room with very nice balcony with outside table & chairs; excellent shower and roomy bathroom; very clean, seemed to think of everything like water cooker, bottle opener, small refrigerator, etc. Lots of storage space for clothing, and a in-room safe for valuables. One of the best rooms at one of the best hotels we have ever had, and we are experienced travellers. Highly recommend!

All of our rooms and communal areas were spotlessly clean and well appointed. The garden was large and well kept, with a patio and ample seating. Breakfast was a continental buffet with a fantastic selection of cereals, yoghurts and pastries. The staff were welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant one.

The friendliness of the hosts! The accommodation which was super clean! And of course the great breakfast! Also we were there with a baby and the host upgraded us to the little apartment downstairs to make sure we could move comfortably in the hotel! The hotel was relatively new and very comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and tried to make sure that your needs were met. We had the double room with balcony and view. Well worth the money. Hotel supplied free water, fruit, cookies, snacks and coffee/thee. We enjoyed the wide selection on their menu at their restaurant. Restaurant offered in and outdoor seating with beautiful views. The area has a lot of nature and is great for walking/hiking and other sports. Also close to Malmedy, Spa, Francorchamps and other nice towns. Owner was very pleasant to deal with and engaged with his customers. Nice memory of our short break to Belgium.

Everything was perfect! Great modern room and very clean and neat. Nice artwork and beautiful scenery. The check-in and checkout was very smooth and quick (we got our room early). The house is a beautiful Manor House, lovingly restored by the wonderful Chantel and her lovely husband. Our room was comfortable, the bed super comfy and the bathroom had an amazing shower. Our room also had a lovely balcony where we were able to sit and relax. We opted for a “Suprise” evening meal and oh my, what an amazing suprise it was. We feasted on a delicious 4 course meal, all cooked with such love and attention to detail, it truly was the very best meal we have eaten! Chantel is charming, friendly hostess. Breakfast was also fabulous. Warm boiled eggs, fresh croissants, homemade preserves, fresh orange juice, fresh coffee, cheeses, cold meats , cereals, yoghurts, fruit, etc etc. we will definitely return.

A very interesting building, a very friendly welcome and a wonderful dinner and breakfast with lots of home produced or local produce. The room was very comfortable with lovely furnishings and a balcony to sit on. The art deco bathroom had a huge walk in shower. We would definitely stay again if travelling in this part of Belgium.

Our party of four had an enjoyable stay in Hotel Villa des Fleurs. The hotel is in a classic historic building which is very well maintained and in the centre of Spa close to amenities . The bedrooms were spacious, comfortable and well appointed and it was possible to view BBC on the TV. Villa des Fleurs does not have a restaurant but their recommendation to dine at the restaurant L'Auberge (of their sister hotel) was excellent - a very good restaurant. Villa des Fleurs provides an excellent breakfast. There is also free parking in the drounds of Villa des Fleurs. We would stay there again.

breakfast: nicely arranged, we were told we could have it outside on the terrace, so we did :) hallway looks very grand, including the breakfast room and the other rooms downstairs. splendid location , we were able to park on the premises around 14h, the hotel seemed to be closed so we checked in later that evening. they offered to reserve us a table at a nearby restaurant, l'auberge, which was good for us. the restaurant might be considered a little pricey, but we were celebrating our anniversary so we came prepared :). We had the menu option at the restaurant, it was really delicious!

The reception staff was very helpful and nice! She heard we were going to the Thermes de Spa (the spa center in town) and immediately offered us tickets to the funicular, free towels and bath robes. She also offered us directions and a great recommendation for dinner. What a treat! The room (overlooking the garden) was very spacious and felt luxurious. The breakfast was very decent and balanced. Overall an amazing experience staying at this hotel!

Warm welcome on arrival and helpful, friendly service throughout our stay. Huge room by modern hotel standards, which was light and airy but not cold. Good bathroom - well maintained and good hot water flow. A good buffet breakfast each morning. Parking onsite was a bonus. We stayed for 2 nights with our baby of 1 year and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The people working here are all very kind and polite and despite being very busy they gave us personalized attention. They took care to ensure our baby is comfortable all the time, and also found us a table at the restaurant next door(which is also great). We liked the buffet breakfast as well, and with Thermes de Spa just a few minutes drive away the location was very convenient. We can’t thank them enough for the hospitality!

A beautiful little hotel in a village ideally located near Spa (circuit and wellness centre) and Malmedy. Our hostess Katrin was lovely and makes your stay very homely and welcoming. The rooms are nicely decorated and kept beautifully clean. The room keycard also opens the front door of the hotel when the front desk is closed so you can come and go as you please. Katrin’s brother runs the restaurant next door where you can eat delicious meals or just sit for a drink in front of the fire. He brews his own Belgian beer on site (also very good! Gift boxes are available at the hotel reception). Plenty of parking spaces round up an excellent stay. We will definitely be back soon!! Highly recommended

The view from the balcony was stunning, looking towards the track entrance at La Source and the Ardennes forest backdrop.

We stayed here like most people because we were heading to Spa-Francorchamps the next day. The hotel seemed nice o line but was even nicer in person. Thankful I decided to spend the extra few dollars to upgrade to a room with a balcony. Having the doors open at night and in the morning was lovely as was walking out on the balcony and seeing the entrance to Spa right there. Food and drinks were also good at the bar/restaurant.

This place lived up to the reviews I read before going there. Our room was spacious and modern within the older exterior. The shower was delicious and the bathroom also spacious. The dinner we ate here was really delicious, I can't speak more highly of it. We had the set menu, loved not having to make a choice, and there were also a pre-entree and an after dinner treat as well as the 3 courses. I didn't like the dessert option so could choose from the a la carte menu instead.Breakfast was continental with juices, cereals, fruit, yoghurt as well as cold meats and cheese and boiled eggs and of course pastries. Very central location with good access to the baths and all the shops. Easy to find too from the motorway The staff were all very helpful.

Centrally located, the room was clean and well equipped, the shower facilities were modern. Basically, it contained everything one might need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was also good and plentiful! The hotel also has a restaurant at the ground floor with a great cuisine. We had dinner there, food and service were great. The restaurant is definitely on the pricier end though, so just be mindful of that. :) In general, we enjoyed our short stay in Spa. The only thing to point out is that the waiters and waitresses in the restaurant seemed to have a quite limited English and sometimes struggled to explain rather basic things, which I would have personally not expected from a rather upscale restaurant in a hotel. Nevertheless, everyone was friendly and we made it work, which is what matters:)

Lovely hotel, nice and clean, modern inside old outside. Friendly staff. Good choice for breakfast. We ate in the restaurant and chose the menu, which we both really enjoyed. The food was not only tasty but beautifully presented. I would recommend it!
