We stayed one night only. Location is good, 15 mins to the center by taxi. I wouldn’t stay near the center as there are many shady people lurking around. Hotel has direct access to the Millennium mall. Roof top (18 floor) has small but nice pool, where we saw a beautiful sunset. Couldn’t figure out how to start the jacuzzi though 😂 rooms spacious, tap water really under pressure, and sink didn’t work properly. Otherwise all was good, helpful stuff

My wife and I stayed 4+ nights, arriving at 4AM by Uber($5) from MAO Airport. The night receptionist copied our passports and gave us a room to rest. In the morning, we returned to the English speaking receptionist to pay which included an added amount for the early arrival. Room #505 was a spacious tiled premium king with a comfortable bed, desk, easy chair, Netflix TV(BBC/Bloomberg/CGTN, all in English with some spotty reception and countless popular channels in Portuguese), kitchenette with sink/hotpot/micro & refer, large closet with safe, well placed AC and numerous outlets. Fully outfitted bathroom with perfect shower but unhandy push faucet at the cold water sink. Small balcony with average traffic noise and a few very loud motorcycles. The 6AM breakfast buffet was excellent and nicely serviced: juice/fresh fruit, cereals, eggs, tapioca station, breads/cakes & coffee machine. Walk out of the lobby to the adjoining garage and take the elevator up 1 floor to the modern mall's large food court. 650m NW along a busy avenue is the Hiper DB supermarket. 3 fast elevators access the 19th floor pool/7 station gym/water machine and long views of the city. Overall a great value hotel!

Great hotel, clean, comfortable and great staff. Check in was online and easy so when we arrived at 1.30 in the morning it was super quick. The hotel is attached to the mall, so there were lots of places to choose to eat in. The hotel restaurant was extremely good too. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of options. Room was massive, modern and clean. View from the room was nice. Aircon great. We had problems with the wifi on the first day (kept disconnecting) but it was fine afterwards. Location was generally safe, we walked around the neighbourhood and felt happy. We walked to the main city centre and looked around, it is bit of a walk but on a large safe main road.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It is modern, clean and has a great restaurant. We could also enjoy the rooftop pool a couple of times. The reception and restaurant staff were polite and professional. The hotel is right next to a shopping mall where there are planty of fast food restaurants if you want a quick, cheap meal.

I was skeptical as the hotel was under construction. However, rooms were clean and COOL. No construction noise. Staff was super friendly. Restaurant was awesome! Had a huge beautiful breakfast buffet. It was super convenient to shopping.

We were checked in very fast, an hour early, as we arrived earlier than their regular check in time. The shower was great, very clean. The room has nespresso coffee maker and they provided free drinking water. Beautiful pool, great location, we walked everywhere. Amazing breakfast with variety of choices, both local and international. The setting was beautiful, the service was impeccable. Amazing coffee, their cake of the day was so delicious, we got a second piece for free.

The staff was so friendly, kind and accommodating. The food was delicious-we enjoyed an amazing breakfast, lunch & dinner. The room was spacious and super comfortable. The pool was the perfect temperature as we enjoyed a cool-off swim daily. The location was wonderful in a safe neighborhood and so close to the old town.

Quiet, comfortable and spacious rooms. Good breakfast spread including eggs, fruits, jams, cheeses, a good collection of breads, juices and coffee/tea. The restaurant in the hotel is decent, loved the soups, salads and appetizers but the shrimp pasta was perhaps not very fresh that day. At least the restaurant offers a good alternative to stepping out at night to find food.

Nice property. Very attractive inside. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. One large bottle of water furnished. Good bath products and a robe. Breakfast was very good. Tasty and good variety. Waiter spoke some English and was very pleasant. Front desk supplied a plug adapter upon request as ours did not work in the socket configuration. Dining room closed at 3 so had to eat dinner in the bar. Limited seating but food was good. Limited wine and beer selection by the glass. Bottles available for purchase. No kettle in the room. Everything has a charge even the pods to make coffee. The only coffee available in the room is expresso with small cups. Not sure if there is room service. Several families checking in so this hotel seems ti accommodate them okay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Villas Amazonia. We arrived very late at night -- after 1am -- but the person at Reception welcomed us warmly. We had a good night's sleep on a very comfortable bed, and an excellent breakfast in the morning. The staff in the breakfast room were friendly and helpful, as were all the Reception staff during the two days we stayed here. The hotel is in a good location for seeing the old downtown part of the city -- just a few minutes' walk from the famous opera house, the lovely Saô Sebastiaô Square, and from shops and restaurants. Reception staff gave us good advice about places to shop and find good coffee. We spent two nights at the hotel and then left to go on an Amazon cruise. The staff very nicely allowed us to come back to the hotel after the cruise, and leave our luggage in a secure place before our nighttime flight out of Manaus. We couldn't be happier with the facilities, location, and staff at this hotel.

If you are looking for classic and comfortable business lodging, this is the place. We enjoyed a quick two nights in Manaus for a jungle tour. Our room was spacious and comfortable with all the amenities we are accustomed to in the U.S. The air conditioning was wonderful. The hotel restaurant is top notch. The breakfast buffet has many delicious options. We enjoyed a lovely dinner there as well with excellent service from the restaurant staff. The hotel staff were professional, helpful, and spoke great English. The hotel is in an industrial area but we were able to easily use Uber to get to our destinations. All the employees we encountered made our stay truly enjoyable.

We stayed here during the World Cup mostly because it was the only place we could find that had a room available. Very comfortable, modern hotel with excellent breakfast buffet that is included with the room. Didn't use it but the pool area looked very nice for a business hotel. It is a10-15 drive from the central part of the city where most tourists would want to visit and a 30-40 min drive from the airport. It definitely helped having a car while we were there. A cab would have cost $30-40 to the airport.

This month, I had the opportunity to say at the Comfort Hotel while I was speaking at a conference! The room was very comfortable, the food at the restaurant wonderful ...but the most important thing was the fabulous, friendly, caring service of all the staff! Melissa, at the front desk, went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed at all times! Pawel, in the restaurant, took care of all my food needs! I didn’t just feel like I was staying at a hotel, I felt like I was staying with friends! Thank you - Obrigada - to all! Can’t wait to come back soon!

We were supposed to stay in a condo but reservation was cancelled at last minute leaving us no where to go at 1 am. We literally knocked at the door and the hotel found us a room that night plus the next one too. Breakfast bar is tasty and pool area is nice too. Will recommend this place to others traveling to Manaus- it is located outside of downtown so a car is needed. It is $45 cab ride from the airport. Friendly staff too. Nice American style hotel rooms.

Sleep Inn is indeed far from the airport. About 30 to 40 minutes but the broad roads in that part of Manaus makes the cab ride pleasant. The distance from the hotel to downtown is not bad. Of course it is not walking distance but a taxi does not cost more then 50 reais. Or even less if you are willing to walk a few hundred meters and share one of many cabs going downtown. We tried the bus but it was a tough business. For us being away from the chaotic hustle and bustle of downtown was just fine. The hotel provides free transportation (round trip) from Monday to Thursday evenings to one of the best/biggest shopping malls in Manaus. The hotel itself is great. Our room was spacious, clean, modern and quiet. The personal is friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast is good and plentiful. The front desk staff was one of the best and here I must mention Gizella, Eduarda and Jeddson whom did not measure effort helping us to feel welcome and providing information. The price was well worth our stay. The pool is nice and right beside the hotel there is a little shopping center with restaurants, shops, a travel agency, cash machines, etc

Stayed for the first time at Sleep Inn Manaus. The reception staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet has good selections of delicious local fruits, juices, yogurts, as well as many other breakfast options. My room was very quite and clean. Highly recommend the rooms at the end of the hallways on the upper floors. The pool area also is nice addition.

The Sleep Inn Manaus is a hotel that is located in the industrial district, and has practically nothing to do in the neighborhood itself. There is a movie mall next to the hotel. To go to cool restaurants you need to take a taxi. The rooms are very clean and the bed is super comfy. Delicious morning coffee. For those who will work and do not have much time to ride, it is a great option.

Only 15min from the AirPort ; The rooms are spotlessly clean, the staff friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was enough for me as I am vegan, but it is plentiful and filling.

Five stars! I wanted my wife and sons to have An enjoyable and safe reunion and close to shopping and restaurants. The pool was a huge factor in them being there! When we visit again we will most Definitely stay there!

Staff was welcoming and helped me with a corporate issue. Breakfast was good, the restaurant was good and room service was a bit slow but worked well. Location is a bit far from main roads, and uber still doesn't quite know how to get there, but worked well for me as it was quiet.

It was a great stay and perfect for us as we wanted somewhere close to the airport and close to the city! The staff were so kind and helpful! Especially Anne, she was so kind and helpful! Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Great staff, great location and great value for money

It is near to a large shopping centre and within walking distance of a few restaurants and a supermarket. The hotel itself is pretty and the rooms are neat and clean enough. They have sufficient facilities, a comfortable bed and were generally quiet. The gym was well-equipped, cool and clean and perfect for a "spruce-up" workout. The best feature was the reception staff who were positive, friendly and very approachable. There was also a small table with free flavoured water and coffee (no milk). Overall, it is a great hotel and I would recommend staying here for the cool, comfortable rooms and good location with friendly and kind reception staff. But if you want somewhere with facilities to relax at the hotel with a drink, we went to the hotel down the road.

I loved my stay at Quality Hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean, beds comfortable, cheerful colors. Breakfast was super! Omelette station, fresh food and a collection of international and local items. The vicinity to Manaura shopping mall and Carrefour made it easy to grab a quick meal or a decent one (Cachacria Dedo), exchange money, do some essential shopping or spend time. It has all the major known shops in Brazil. It also has a hair dresser, which was convenient for me since I had an event. I also liked the complimentary coffee and water with pineapple and ginger at the hotel entrance (nice gesture). One thing was missing in Quality hotel though was the coffee/tea making machine in the room. This is essential if you are in a business trip and want to have a quick cup of coffee before you move.

This was a nice place to stay - 5 days - breakfast buffet was consistently good with some variation in pastries and hot dishes. You could find different breakfast combinations quite easily and there is an omelet station, fresh fruit and fresh juices. Good selection of cereals and coffee as well. Very clean, friendly staff.

I really need to give 5 stars for the staff, the lady in the restaurant helped me when my blood pressure just dropped. They really took a good care of me, the front desk checked my pressure and helped me in my needs. About the hotel, it is a spacious room with a desk office, a sofa and a great closet. however at night I don’t know why the place was noise. It has a neat bathroom. Everything is new and smells great. Walkable to the restaurant and beautiful mall also a big supermarket at the back street. The breakfast is delicious and the variety of options. Unfortunately I didn’t have chance to go to the pool and gym but certainly I will enjoy.

We stayed at the Quality Hotel on either end of a tour to the Amazon Jungle, we were able to leave some of our luggage at the hotel while on tour. The location is excellent, it is a safe area, restaurants and shopping within walking distance. The front desk staff were excellent, our Portuguese is very limited and most of them spoke English enough to communicate. The bar and restaurant staff were great. The hotel was modern and well maintained. We traveled around Manaus by Uber, it was great and very inexpensive, we never waited more then a few minutes. I would definitely recommend the Quality Hotel Manaus.

This is an excellent hotel with many things close by. The rooms are very spacious with a safe in them for security. Use the safe for all valuables. The bed was comfortable. The shower was incredible. Take a wash cloth because they are not provided. The breakfast buffet had a huge amount of food. Eggs, toast, fruit and more. Taxis are readily available. No problem to walk during the day. Leave your jewelry at home. Use t shirts and sneakers. Take taxis at night always. I would recommend this hotel. It is close to many things.

Very pleased with the hotel. Check in was simple and without fuss and the room was spacious and clean. Good facilities and good food as well. The staff were excellent especially Kethleen (who was so kind and helpful) and Geovany. A perfect stop-off before heading into the Amazon.

Mais um Ibis pra nossa conta e sem arrependimento, ao contrário, esse hotel é muito bom. Funcionários educados e atenciosos, quarto muito bom, banho bom, cama boa, roupas de cama e banho de qualidade, café da manhã é servido no Novotel e é muito bom. Estacionamento amplo, sem manobrista, não é coberto. Voltaremos com certeza.

Foi tudo muito bom, porém os serviços deixam a desejar, inclusive não há tomadas em locais acessíveis. O café da manhã poderia ser incluso no preço de estadia, os quartos são muito pequenos. No entanto quem estiver a procura de um lugar para se passar poucos dias eu recomendo.

Foi excelente até porque a escolha do hotel foi em virtude da localização tendo em vista que evento que fui participar aconteceu na UFAM (Universidade Federal do Amazonas), cujo trajeto de táxi é menos de dez (minutos).

The location is perfect for first-time visitors to Manaus as it's two blocks from the main square, where the Opera House/Theatre is located. The square is full of restaurants/bars that have live music every night. The hotel breakfast was very nice, and we appreciated that breakfast hours were long, from 6 - 10 am. It was nice to have a suite with a door that separated the bedroom along with two TVs. When we arrived our safe wasn't working, but they fixed it the same day, which I consider excellent service. Our suite had a kitchen with a mini-fridge and microwave and a large table with chairs to eat. We had a balcony facing the pool, which is in the back of the hotel and quieter than the front. Breakfast and daily maid service were included in our Booking.com rate. The restaurant was open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner until 10 pm, and we could charge the meals to the room. We arrived at the hotel at 2 am, and there was no problem checking in late. Uber service is always available and very prompt. The king-size bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in!

Good location just over 5 mins walk from the square. Room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Staff were friendly. We had a quick dip in the swimming pool too which was open until 10pm. They do have a restaurant, it was pretty quiet but handy if you dont have much time and need dinner. Breakfast was also very good.

It is very clean, comfortable and quiet with a good breakfast. Isabella on the reception was very kind to us with the checkin and when we came back from our Amazon tour. In the restaurant Henrique is a very good waiter.

The hotel is very good, everywhere is clean, the staff is helpful, we left early in the morning and they made sandwiches and coffee. Very close to the center, seems a safe place. Breakfast is normal.

One of the best G&T I ever had Rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Breakfast was good and offered a good variety. We had dinner there once and it was also really good for the price

Located a couple of kms from the Centro area. Probably need to take a taxi to go anywhere. The staff were friendly & helpful. My room was spacious & comfortable. Everything worked fine. My large bed had clean linens & afforded me a comfortable quiet sleep. The bathroom had good hot water & pressure. Breakfast was adequate.

The location is great, rooms are spacious and clean and the staff is friendly. The best thing about the hotel though was Silvia at the reception desk. She warmly welcomed us, quickly sorted out some issues with my reservation and more importantly, was a superb concierge as well. She answered all our questions patiently about what to do in and around Manaus, recommended different tours to explore the Amazon rainforest and in general was super helpful and patient with all my questions. Thank you Silvia for making our Manaus trip rich and enjoyable!

We were really pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Inside it has quite a few rooms, the wooden doors have nice design details from the Amazon and some walls are nicely painted. The rooms were very clean, the bed was large and comfortable and the air conditioning worked well. There was everything you need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was also delicious with fruit, bread, eggs, tapioca, açaí and cakes, coffee and juice. Very good value for money. The neighborhood may not be the best (especially at night) so I would use Uber for the main attractions. Would stay there again.

The hotel is in a great location, my room had a direct view of the theater. At night, you can lie down and look out from your bed. There is a counter selling everything you need for your trip. Breakfast is ok with a nice view. I can leave my luggage here for long tours in the Amazon.

The hotel has a fantastic location, in the middle of Centro historico, with a partial room view of the Teatro do Amazonas, the globally iconic opera house. Teatro da Amazonas is located literally across the street and maintains almost daily performances. Casario 179 bar with musica ao vivo is very nearby. Most of the Manaus' museum are situated in the vicinity, max. 2 km away. The hotel offers an inside convenience store, laundry shop, and a tourist travel agency right inside, which is a great advantage. The staff are truly nice and friendly. Despite the bad side, I would probably choose this hotel again.

The location is amazing and the price is very good of course. But the real stars are the staff. Incredibly friendly and helpful. They even sorted out some emergency medication for me!

I stayed there twice, first only one night before a cruise on Rio Negro, then two nights after the cruise; the room for the one night was rather small, but quiet, comfortable and well decorated: the room for the two nights was much larger, also quiet, comfortable and pleasantly furnished; the two bathrooms were modern, very clean, with perfect light and plenty of warm water. Great location with a relaxed casual vibe. Just around the corner from the Opera House and central square. Walking distance to the river and markets. On the weekend we were there (maybe every weekend?), a block away, they closed the road and had stalls set up where you could buy food and drink and sit. It was busy with locals and great for people watching. Hotel was decorated in a fun quirky style. This used to be a large private home back in the day and while it's showing it's age, it was just what we were looking for - - affordable and cheerful. Casual common areas that were inviting to sit and relax with spouse/friends/others staying there. These common areas were comfortable with cushioned seating where you could lounge in the sun or shade, or inside. The breakfast area, in the walkout basement offered a nice selection for a small hotel. You could sit inside or stroll out and eat in the small garden/pool area. Our high ceilinged room was simple but met our needs. Air Con worked well. Fridge worked well. Room was quiet. Very basic, not modern, but clean. Close to a few restaurants. One of which was excellent and we went to twice!

Perfect location. Stylish hotel with amazing atmosphere of historical heritage. Many lovely vintage details in combination with modern facilities. Very clean and tidy! Exceptionally friendly and highly professional personnel.

My stay in this hotel was just perfect: beautiful infrastructure, comfy beds, kind and responsive staff. The little garden with the swimming was clean and super nice to chill. Breakfast was good. No noise from outside streets. Everything was just perfect!

You pay the restaurant directly for dinner and none of our credit cards worked in the restaurant machine.

Really clean rooms with soft mattresses super helpful and friendly staff bathroom recently remodeled excellent breakfast made to order omelets great value for Manaus. Nice hot showers. I used hotel taxi service to run someone to airport driver was incredibly friendly and waited for me to return.

Front reception staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. They accommodated my changing travel plans, phoned car service and taxis for me and stored my luggage while I was in Amazonia. Super patient with my limited Portuguese. I stayed extra days because the staff was so kind and friendly.

The staff here were outstanding, they could not have been more helpful with anything we needed help with. Working with us and Google translate. They also specially cleaned and gave us our room early as we had arrived on the early boat from Tabatinga at 5am that morning. The room was also perfectly decent for the price we paid as we are trying to stick to a budget. It is also close to the port and the centre of the city if you are arriving in Manaus that way. It also has Aircon which is a must in Manaus

The staff were friendly and efficient, the room was spacious, the bed comfy and the bathroom a good size too. Breakfast was also included which was tasty with a good choice on offer. The hotel also offers luggage storage so a huge plus if you are going off on a river cruise with limited allowance. Whilst the hotel has no pool or outside space and is located off a main road I would still recommend staying here but only as a stop gap, not really suitable for a few days stay.

We needed a day room between getting off our cruise ship and our flight very early the next morning, and the Ibis Manaus Aeroporto was perfect. It was rather Spartan - just a double bed, a chair, an attached sitting bench, and a small shelf/desk - but it had a small fridge, a big window, a good restaurant, and really good air conditioning. The property was clean and in good repair. The staff was very friendly, though Google Translate was helpful as they did not speak much English. With it we were able to check in, order two meals, check out, and get a taxi to the airport with minimal difficulties. They called a cab for us - at midnight - and one arrived very shortly. We were dropped off at the airport within 10 minutes. All-in-all, the hotel gave us everything we needed for that day. We fared much better than couples we met who just sat at the mostly non-air conditioned airport for 15 hours.

Great staff, friendly, clean, no problems. We had 3 people to a room and 3 people plus a baby in 1 room for a week. It was tight on space with luggage. No free bottled water provided but otherwise completely as expected. Great experience and would go again. Check the restaurant hours as they open at 7pm for dinner (late for Americans) but good, clean food. Plant to go again.

This is the perfect landing place when you arrive in Manaus by air, only 10 minutes drive from the airport and currently at a set rate of 30 Brazilian reais. The rooms are Ibis compact and minimal, the sheets are clean and white and beds are very comfortable. Half the staff is very friendly (Rebecca stands out) and the other half could use some coaching on greeting and dealing with guests at check in. The food is great in the restaurant.

Beautiful property with an amazing view from the squeaky clean rooftop pool. The hotel breakfast is excellent with familiar items for US/European travelers as well as local favorites to try. The fruit is amazing. We had a great view of the famed Opera House and enjoyed happy hour on the square nearby. There are a variety of restaurants and shops nearby but don't overlook the hotel restaurant and bar. We enjoyed cocktails in the lobby bar and a wonderful dinner. But all of these things were topped by the wondeful staff. Everyone was unfailingly warm and helpful.

My travel partner and I stayed at the Juma Opera hotel in mid-April 2025 on our final night in Manaus following a river cruise. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable...and with an excellent view of the Teatro Amazonas (the rooftop pool & sitting area are fantastic). No major issues but we rank this hotel below another option just down the street for the following reasons. The layout of the Juma is awkward as it's divided among separate buildings. There's no direct access to the lobby and the restaurant is in a courtyard between the structures. For the one lunch we ate at the restaurant the service was extremely slow and the quality and value of the food were lacking (especially in comparison to our experience at that other hotel). Overall, the Juma is a very lovely hotel with great rooms and location and comparable price point so one can't go wrong staying there...but if I were to return to Manaus, I'd first check availability a few doors down Ruo 10 de Julho

My son and I stayed here before and after a very rugged trip into the amazon. The staff were amazingly friendly and gracious with our language barrier. They helped to arrange tours and transportation, as well as gave us some great help with visiting Manaus. The food was great in the restaurant, and again the meal service was very good. The location across the street from the opera house was close to most of the things we were doing in Manaus and the view was beautiful. Lastly the room was perfect. There was a paid bar in the room with great items to purchases. The linens were high quality and everything was clean and sanitized. Everyone was very clean and cautious with COVID restrictions. Overall this hotel was amazing and I would stay here ten times over!

When we arrived at the Juma Opera Hotel today we were extremely surprised at how beautiful this hotel is. The photos on the internet do not reflect this at all. The building (an old villa) is very welcoming; The staff (from the luggage carrier to the reception to the waiters in the restaurant) is very attentive, friendly, professional and helpful. Our room is very large and flooded with light. The food in the restaurant is first class. It promises to be a great stay. The price-performance ratio is great! Absolutely recommended

The hotel was very convenient to the airport. I stayed there before and liked the location and it was clean. When we were checking in, I mentioned to Lysie (the front desk person) that we had an early morning flight. I asked her if it was possible to get some breakfast food early or to go and she said no, we can either get room service or buy something at the restaurant. The next morning when we came to the lobby to get an Uber to go to the airport, we saw people coming from the breakfast area (others who also had to leave early). Our Uber had already arrived so we didn’t have time to get breakfast but I was disappointed by Lysie. She seemed indifferent and not helpful. Clearly other people were getting early breakfast so unclear why she said no to us.

I have never given an online hotel review before but my experience here was outstanding. The hotel staff are really outstanding, especially the front desk and dining staff. So very gracious! There was a man who appeared to be "in charge" of the dining area (sorry I missed the name) who is a treasure! The lady in the small gift shop was a treat. We found the hotel to be very clean and well run. They were hosting a soccer team and the road crew of some big-time entertainers. They handled everything so well and we were not overwhelmed by the other large groups of guests. We ate the dining buffet for a breakfast, lunch, and two dinners as the hotel is not within easy walking distance to other restaurants. We were extremely pleased with the choices and the very high quality of the food. We looked forward to each of the meals we had in the hotel! BTW, we lost some items we needed earlier during our trip and a quick online delivery order from a local grocery store was an easy and cheap solution. Finally, while it's a bit of a distance from the historic center of town or a tour day on the river, it was the easy distance to the airport, which we wanted to maximize. I appreciated our location quite a bit for the logistics of our trip. The price. It was the only "deal" we thought we experienced in our whole three country visit to South America because the value of what we received was far and away above what we paid for the couple of nights at this hotel.

Very convenient location. 10 minutes from airport. We had 13 hours stop at Manaus. So it was convenient to stay here. Hotel is in a isolated area , no problem we Uber to go to historic district . What we did not like was how dirty is the sofa, and small round table, can not seat in sofa . Hotel should replace it . Also there is a string smell in the room. Perhaps eyecto humidity , nevertheless some fragrance can help with it . In the morning the smell was like string bathroom smell. Employees were very nice and helpful . They book our 1:15 am taxi . My rate is based on cleanness . The fruit plate left in room for welcoming was a nice compliment . I strongly recommend to replace sofa and clean table and do something for string smell , just with that experience will be better

There was plenty of convenient parking onsite as well. The only negative was the upkeep of the bathrooms. Our bathroom door frame had significant water damage and the shower had a significant amount of mildew/mold. Both of which I would not expect to see in a 4 star hotel.

Staff were exceptional. Any need we had they accommodated. The room was very clean and comfortable. Never had we have to ask for more towels. Room service was also good. Food took a bit to come to the room but it was very tasty. I wish breakfast was included in our stay because R$35 per person per day is a bit much. The hotel was a few minutes from the Opera House which has a few very good restaurants/pizzerias near as well as a beautiful opera house and courtyard perfect for a stroll during the evening and night. I'd highly recommend this hotel if staying in Manaus.

The staff was really friendly and the room was very comfortable and quiet. The Minibar fridge had a decent size. I could easily put ice cream inside there and cool my water bottles. The shower was also large. I really liked that there was a cleaning service available for all my clothes. All in all a good hotel with lots of friendly people and activities inside the hotel.

The hotel is situated in a safer part of town. The suite is spacious, but there’s always this lingering smell in the corridor on the 8th floor. It’s otherwise ok inside the room. The rooftop has a pool with a stunning view! Breakfast spread was above average, and there’s English descriptions! There’s a big supermarket across the road, and a few restaurants within walking distance.

A comfortable stay though the hotel is a.bit far from shops and places to visit. The staff are very helpful despite limited knowledge of English. Panoramic views of the city and great sunsets over the Amazon from the roof top pool area. Breakfast is great and definitely not to be missed! P

Located half way from everything in Manaus, it is not far from the airport, city center attractions, and businesses. New, clean, and the staff is attentive and helpful.

I stayed here with 2 friends after we had finished an Amazon Rainforest tour. Our stay was very short (10 hours), but the room was clean and very nice. We ate at the restaurant on the main floor, and it was pretty good. I would suggest this hotel to someone else

We used this hotel as a stop over before a early flight after amazon. We did not leave hotel so can not comment on area however hotel was perfect for the cost. Clean rooms and lovely staff. Would definatley recommend this hotel to stay.

It's only about 10 mins walk to the centre. I'm sure it's safe but i didn't want to walk alone at night.

If you are looking for a place with a view for a gate-away this is not your place. If you are looking for a clean hotel situated in a conveinient place with amazing staff, then this is your place. As a solo traveller who doesn't speak Portuguese, my biggest consern was not finding someone who speaks English to help me where ever I go in Brazil. To my surprise, the hotel staff at the reception blown me away. Not only there were two guys at the reception who speak good English, they even helped me by suggesting places I should visit, places to have dinner etc. I had a great experience exploring the city thanks to the amazing staff. If I'm going to visit Manaus again, I'd stay there without a doubt.

From the moment that I checked in, until the moment I checked out...I was greeted warmly, assisted professionally, and felt completely welcome. The reception staff are friendly, helpful and represent their employer perfectly. The room was clean, tidy and everything was in working order. The morning's breakfast was fresh, diverse and filling. I highly recommend this hotel for all visiting in Manaus for short or long term stays. Thank you for providing me a word class experience!

The staff were the best and love the area. Love the pool and gym. The breakfast was great. Love how quiet the area is. The wifi was great too. The rooms have lots of space and everything I need in it like a safe and minibar.

If there is one thing I was not very happy about, that was breakfast: from food selection to service. I found the selection a bit week for Mercure and Brazilian standards; also, the staff who greeted me in the morning didn't seem very friendly or helpful. Still, despite the small problems with breakfast, I recommend Mercure Manaus as it is an absolute amazing hotel to rest after a hot day exploring the city and/or the forest.

Everyone at this hotel was very nice and helpful. The rooms are large and comfortable, though the bathrooms could use some updating. The bar served great cocktails (specially a delicious passion fruit caipirinha) very reasonably priced. The breakfast was wonderful. Different flavored fresh tropical fruits juices, delicious fruit and homemade pastries and breads that varied each day. Good strong brazillian coffee. The area around the hotel is residential and safe. A very short walk from de hotel is the Manauara shopping which is quite large and has some interesting shops.Downtown Manaus and excellent restaurants are a short taxi/uber ride away, which are quite cheap here. This hotel has a nice small rooftop pool and sauna.

It was a lovely stay, the room was clean, staff were amazing. First thing I loved about it is that you can speak with them through WhatsApp which save tons of money on calls, the receptionists were wonderful and helpful. The food were amazing, the staff at the restaurant went above and beyond. My husband wanted to order my favourite drink which they never had on menu, they did research and managed to prepare it for me. Both my husband and I were delighted. Since then, I have been recommending the hotel to all my friends and family. Definitely will come back!

I am about to check out of this hotel and thought I would write a review while I had some time. It is a good hotel. I stayed in an apartment on the 6 th floor, booked through Airbnb. The people on reception are very helpful and friendly and the check in process was smooth. The hotel has a great pool area which I made full use of after day trips. It looks out onto the river, and you may be lucky and see river dolphins like I did this evening. I ate at the restaurant two nights. I had the steak Sandwich which was the best I have ever had. Tonight, I had the chicken and rice soup which was delicious. I did also have coffee and cake from the small cafe in the reception area for afternoon tea and that was nice too. You can access the river beach by going out the front and walking a few minutes down the drive and turn right and go down the steps. The beach area is nice for a paddle, and you can buy drinks from the vendors. There is some construction work going on next door, but I didn't hear any noise. I did also book a day tour with the tour agency in the lobby area and that was great. There is a little shop selling items like sunscreen in the lobby area as well. I'm not sure what the apartments would look like as some of them are rented out with Airbnb . The one I am in is basic but functional and has good air conditioning. I think this is a good area as it is not far from the airport.

Risen from the "ashes" of the old and renowned, beloved Tropical Chain, now extinct, once a jewel of Brazilian hospitality of past decades proudly built at Ponta Negra to support the classic Tropical Manaus (now to be remodeled to serve as a university center), stands the imposing tower built in the Atrium Hotels style. This unit still maintains the original layout and infrastructure. The rooms are spacious, the smallest being 33 m² and the largest 73 m², enormous by today's "minimalist" standards, where only in luxurious hotels can we find such spacious rooms. This "serene giant," inaugurated in 1976, went through troubled times and reopened in December 2024, newly acquired by an international hotel chain. Upon my stay, I felt the sensation of other times (the last time was in 2005). A lot has changed, including myself. Everything was there: a good breakfast, the rooms, the view... apparently, it seemed that nothing had changed, it was only when I came across the "old" seal of the Tropical Chain, which is still at the entrance, that I really realized that there are things that cannot be recreated! And time, it is relentless, and only memories and nostalgia remain for those who once knew hospitality of excellence and quality almost close to perfection.

The staff was friendly and spoke English which was helpful. The location is nice, right on the river. It is 15-30 minute drive, depending on traffic, to get downtown to see the cultural attractions. There is a restaurant inside but no others within walking distance. We were able to walk to Ponte Negra where they had street vendors. A was a good hotel, but if we did it again, we would stay downtown for more restaurant options and culture.

Firstly at the moment this hotel is surrounded by a building site! The location on the Rio Negro is good, though it is a way out of central Manaus. Easy access to the promenade which came alive in the evenings we were there. The rooms are good with all the ameneties you would expect, shower, a/c, hairdryer, fridge. The breakfast buffet is very good, however, the service at dinner is slow. The food is standard hotel fare.

Hotel has good spacious rooms with a great view, comfortable with good food. Close to the airport and very well located in Ponta Negra beach for who is also looking for a pleasat stay. Not so close to the Industrial district but very easy to get a ride with car apps in the city, so compensates.

Very friendly staff - really helpful and kind given we speak almost no Portuguese. A comfortable room with a nice shower and good wifi. Decent breakfast. Overall a very pleasant budget hotel, in an excellent location close to the theatre and bars nearby. 20-25 min walk to the port for ferries.

Absolute recommendation very centrally located. the theater around the corner. very safe place Very clean, well-maintained hostel. It makes its name its program. You don't even have this much color, light and Christmas at home. You can only feel very comfortable. very rich breakfast. The tastiest tapioca I've eaten. Staff absolutely friendly. I had a great stay. I was able to arrange a very late transfer through the hotel. The staff were fantastic. There is not a lot of English spoken but we always made things work. The breakfast was basic but very good. The room was kept very clean (and tidy...thank you). The air conditioning worked very well ( a great asset in Manaus). The location for me was also excellent. It was a six minute walk to Teatro Amazonas and all the restaurants and bars in that area. It was about 20 minutes to the Mercado Municipal Adolpho Lisboa and all the river commerce/activity. It was a great stay and I did not want to leave my new found Manaus family. Thank you/Obrigado

The staff is amazing! Seriously, eventhough you might experience a language barrier with some, they'll do their utter best to help you with anything you want. Thank you again Otis for helping me out with my sim card which was a real struggle! The room was spacious enough and the bed comfortabel enough. Breakfast was simple but more than sufficient and the breakfast room is also a nice spot to meet other travelers. Wifi works really good so I believe good it's all good value for your money. Options [paid] for bag storage and laundry services.

Very helpful and friendly staff. They made arrangements for our ferry tickets. We wanted a private room on the ferry and they sell out so we purchased 4 days in advance. They called a trusted person to get tickets and transport us. It was well worth the additional fee. We felt like we were in good trustworthy hands. We stayed in 2 rooms during 2 separate visits. They were both clean. We interacted with 3 staff members. They spoke great English and were fun and friendly. Breakfast was very good. This hostel is a very good choice!

It was always clean, the staff was really friendly and helpful and it’s great for meeting other travellers, the common areas are nice to hang out, you can buy breakfast there - it’s worth it, you get drinking water for free, it’s close to the theatre, there’s bars and restaurants around, most of the staff at the reception speaks English I’ll definitely come back here

The best breakfast I have ever had in a hostel! Huge and delicious buffet to start the day right! The staff were very friendly Bruna, Marco (?) and the other girl, I’m sorry can’t remember all names, you were all very helpful and friendly, obrigada!❤️

Comfortable bunks, plug , light and curtains for each, air con keeps dorms cool at night. Big screen with Netflix etc, lots of social space, couches . Staff is excellent, speak Portuguese and English. Large clean showers with hot water, separate for men and women. Secure entrance with 24 hour access. Bruna and Sindy(Bianca) at the front desk are the best. Friendly and always with a smile. Will to help you out with anything you need to make your stay better.

I really appreciate it that they let me stay during the whole day in the hostel and that I could take a shower before going to the airport cause my flight was late in the night. Next time in Manaus I would definitely stay here again, felt like home.

The room was quiet and the house was old, but renovated, with an outside area and many places to chill out. The staff was super nice, especially the lady. It's well located. The room was clean and big, but a bit basic. The breakfast area is nice. We felt safe there.

I loved everything about the property. The beds are very comfortable with curtains for more privacy. The staff is super friendly and helping. The breakfast is healthy and satisfying. The location is perfect, few minutes from the theatre and main place.

The reception host, Iago, was exceptional, professional and most accommodating. I was happy when I got a lower bunk, he provided me with directions in the area and ordered my Uber transportation for me. Thanks Iago for your gracious hospitality. Aldeia Hostal is where you want to be and great value too. Close enough by walking to downtown and other activities but it's in a quiet area for piece and solitude. Best of both worlds. A/C in the rooms was great, lovely kitchen and good for socializing with other travellers. Spotlessly clean in all areas of the hostel including bathrooms. Will definitely return to stay here and so should you.

A great location, just around the corner from O Teatro Amazonias. Plenty of bars and restaurants in easy walking distance. Bed is comfortable, shower is good, room was a good size. Breakfast was ok- plenty of food. I kept to the scrambled eggs and fruit. Coffee and juice are very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Air conditioning effective.

It was clean. Fresh. Safe. The lovely gentlemen that checked us in was very sweet and spoke perfect english which made us feel safe as we arrived at 3am in the morning after 48hrs of travel. Which was also another amazing thing - flexibility with check in time! Bed and pillows VERY comfy and aircon which was a gift.

Between Porto de Manaus and the centre city.. Delicious breakfast, fresh fruit and juices, pao di queijo, etc etc etc. Quiet, cozy and convenient. Amazing staff!

Good location for the Old historic Quarter and restaurants, Very Good value, nice clean rooms, excellent variety breakfast and very friendly helpful staff, especially Viviane and Josemi. We have already heartily recommended to others.

Breakfast was super, a wonderful selection, a bright, clean place with a great view of the street from the windows, very attentive staff. A beautiful array of food within easy access, a lovely and very original mural on the wall, the "elephant-octopus"--so creative!

The property was really lovely and homely. We were in a private room with a bathroom and the first room we were in super spacious and comfortable. We left and then came back for a night and the second room was smaller but still comfortable. The common areas were really nice and it was an excellent location. Really nice breakfast, clean room, clean bathrooms & good AC. Would definitely recommend.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful. We arrived late and there was a muck up with the rooms and they sorted this for us. They walked us to an ATM to get money out and gave food recommendations. The breakfast was also one of the best I've had since I started traveling.

This hostel was such a wonderful experience! The courtyard is beautifully designed in a tropical rainforest style, spacious and very relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and served on a terrace with amazing views, which made every morning special. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I also met many great people here and felt truly at home. I would love to come back again — highly recommended!

We enjoyed our five night stay at Hostel Manaus. We had a private room with shared bathroom (travelling as a couple) and were very happy with the room as well as cleanliness (both private and common areas). We didn’t have breakfast there so can’t rate it. The vibe was nice and social. Staff was extremely helpful (gave some advice on how to sort out local SIMSs and even helped us load bundles on our phones etc, and had info on ferry boats to travel on the Amazon). Thanks again, Thiago! Walking distance to main attractions, restaurants, bars, shops etc. Safe area (especially during the day). Best ceviche place in the whole city right around the corner ‘Senior Ceviche’ (only open for lunch) and a nice bar too ‘Bar Central’ (only open in the evenings).

Love the design and open air concept in the hostel, a few different hangout areas, and the balcony. Quiet place while I was there, not a party hostel but still easy to socialize. Safe because of the security at the door 24/7, but you are advised not to walk around after dark. Close to the Opera house, you can walk during the day or uber at night. Beds comfortable. Clothes line to dry laundry. Breakfast included was a huge added value (some fruit, bread, cheese, ham, coffee, cake). Small “market” available at the front desk for purchase. Staff very kind and helpful.

We booked the room with a private bathroom and it was very spacious and clean. The hostel is in a great location, clean and fully equipped with filtered water, fridge and several areas to rest and enjoy some relaxing. The decorations are just excellent, making you feel in the middle of a local exhibition. Antonio and his staff are very welcoming and willing to help you make your stay perfect in every aspect. We also did the "MIX 4 DAYS TOUR IN THE JUNGLE" with Antonio and it was very well organized, everything was smooth and excellent, the locations, the knowledge of the guide and the food. It has been exactly the unforgettable, authentic experience we wanted. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
