Very nice and clean rooms. Excellent service at front desk for e everything we needed and fast laundry service. Very good breakfast with great selection of fruit, hot and cold buffet. Very good, large gym for a hotel this size. Very good lunch and dinner at restaurant (at reasonable price) with beautiful views on the mountains.

The Carretero is a semi-standard hotel with all the normal perks, meeting rooms, a gym, a buffet breakfast. We found the staff very pleasant and helpful, the room ok, the buffet breakfast a nice combination of local staples and standard continental/full breakfast. Within walking distance of the old centre of Manizales, on the main road. Parking at the back, useful.

The breakfast is delicious and you get it served with a view. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the counter personnel was speaking English. A good choice.

Large, clean and comfortable rooms with an excellent breakfast! Just 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. A large shopping complex is just 5 minutes away and has a wonderful supermarket, which is very convenient.

Second time staying at this location. This hotel has a great location. You can walk from the Aereo station to the hotel and you can walk to the Fundadores mall and other points on Avenida Santander as well as Centro. Staff were nice and helped hold our bags after check out which made things easier. The location has a restaurant on site as well as a gym and a bar. Restaurant has a wonderful view. On Sundays, when the street is shut down for excercise, you are about five minutes from the dance classes and all the action.

The cabanas with private jacuzzi’s were fun and comfy with fireplaces. All the food was good.

Excellent grounds with many beautiful plants. The area around is quiet and green. Several choices of pools and water temperatures. Breakfast buffet had many options. Food in the restaurant was well presented and tasty. Staff members were very professional and helpful. Although not many spoke English, they were ready to translate on an app or find someone to help. Which guaranteed a clear communication. There is a lovely chapel and peaceful garden on site.

The place was beautiful, super relaxing and pools were very clean. We stayed at one of the villas and was beautiful, clean and the service to the villas was great as we did order a few times to try the service and enjoy our private pool. I gave 4 stars to the service only because the restaurant can use some help, and improvement since the service at the restaurant was ok. We had a dirty glass With lipstick on, had to call our waitress to Come take our drinks order and… while ordering we wanted an appetizer mentioned to the waitress that it was to share and when they brought it, it was a soup! on the description said something alone the lines of corn, avocado, tomato and chips… waitress did not mentioned or advise even though we said as an appetizer to share 😓 next day we went for breakfast and most tables were busy while some tables were not being use but were wet and if the hotel is full why not have all tables ready? Some tables had reserved on them and while asking a waitress to please wiped down a table so we could have breakfast they were talking and said they had to remove the reserved on the tables cause they were not going to be used anymore. So we took the reserved table, instead of waiting on one of the wet ones to be wiped down. Lastly, I wish the had a robe in the room or some kind of robe service… Those would be amazing when coming out from the water 😊

I stayed 2 nights in one of the Campestre Superior rooms near the small church & I loved everything about Termales El Otoño. The property itself is lovely, filled with plants and flowers, and there's a lovely mountain view from the terrace of the main building. I arrived at an unbusy time and was treated to an orientation tour of the property. The restaurant was terrific. I particularly enjoyed the delicious seafood (the fresh trout was excellent). My biggest (positive) surprise was how much I enjoyed the hot springs. I was recovering from a badly sprained ankle. What a pleasant surprise – the hot springs are quite accessible for those with mobility issues. Many of the hot springs have handrails, and all have manageable, (and not slippery) steps. I felt completely safe and comfortable getting in and out of the hot springs. Best of all, that volcano-heated water really helped my sprained ankle to heal. Looking forward to my return. One piece of advice – Villamaria is in the mountains and can get chilly – bring a sweater or light jacket, along with basic rain gear.

Simply amazing. The property is beautiful. The staff is amazing, the property is clean, very comfortable, and beautiful. The food at the restaurant was amazing, and the included breakfast in the morning was also very good, we had a great time, we used to spa and the massages where very good.

We stayed there as we participated to a mountain bike race in Manizales. We don't speak Spanish at all and all along the staff has been very helpful and understanding. They accommodated us and provided all we needed, even if our demands were unusual. They helped us cleaning our muddy bikes and provided all the necessary to do our washing in the room and hang everything. One of the most helpful staff we ever had! The hotel itself is comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean. The only negative thing was the shower, where hot water is kind of random. The breakfast is not the best ever, but there is enough to eat. The hotel is well situated, with a lot of restaurants close by. We are happy about our stay.

We booked this hotel to attend the " Feira de Manizales". At first, we were somewhat concerned. The curb appeal did not excite. It got better. Garage parking was a must for us, and we felt very comfortable leaving the car there for the entire stay. The service was good. The front desk and bellmen were all very helpful providing us with guidance and direction. Located in a perfect spot to tour, and attend the activities. The room is very spacious and simple. A small frig, sitting area all added to the comfort. Not a luxury hotel at all, but clean, safe, and location is good. Breakfast was average, but suited us to get the day started.

A good hotel with helpful and friendly staff. One advantage is that it is in a good location with access to automatic tellers and a variety of restaurants. Also not far in a taxi or bus to the downtown area. The room was spacious and clean. Hot water worked well. The breakfast was simple but good. There is parking access. WiFi okay. The only criticism was that with the computer downstairs the Internet access was not consistent. Still a goodles hotel in a convenient location.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My room was nice with a comfortable king bed, a window that opened to a view of the city, and a great bathroom shower. The breakfast has good and they served a fabulous soup every day. The hotel location was within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Spacious room with couch and two comfortable chairs. Probably the quietest Hotel I've stayed at in Columbia, the windows don't have much soundproofing but it was quiet at night. The staff is professional, friendly and accommodating. Very nice views from the restaurant and well attending staff. Cleaning staff are good at what they do too.

THE CABIN WAS AMAZING, SPACIOUS AND COZY, THE VIEWS OMG! THE BEST ! WE DIDNT KNOW BUT IT COMES WITH WINE AND CHEESE. WE HAVE A GREAT TIME AT THE JACUZZI . ALSO THE FOOD WAS REALLY GOOD, THE PLACE WITH THE HUMMING BIRDS AND THE HOT SPRINGS WAS INCREDIBLE, WE WISH WE STAY MORE!

The topography , the birds, nature the cabin where we stay it’s beautiful full of light with a jacuzzi fresh water warm water where you can spend hours looking at the city and surroundings. The young guys that worked for the hotel are pretty good friendly efficient

We had the Suite with Queensize bed and this was one of the best rooms we ever stayed in! The private jacuzzi is very nice to enjoy the lovely views. We also loved that they offer free water! Feeding the hummingbirds was one of our favorite activities during our trip! The landscape is just breathtaking there. Just be prepared that it’s pretty cold in the whole hotel and bring warm layers! We had a fireplace and fan heating in the room, still it was pretty chilly. Good thing there are warm pools to warm you :)

The surroundings are amazing and the staff is very attentive. The food is tasty and the included breakfast is delicious. The pools are wonderful.

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The termales and grounds they're on are absolutely stunning. I love that there is a bar near the pool and the servers try hard to be attentive. The included breakfast was also delicious. It was peaceful and lovely, especially with the added bonus of the hummingbirds everywhere.

Hacienda Venecia is a dream stay in the heart of Colombia’s coffee region. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the staff remained attentive and responsive throughout my stay. The accommodations were beautiful—with stunning views, a relaxing pool, and even peacocks roaming the grounds. The coffee tour with Girard was informative and engaging, offering real insight into the local culture and production process. I also had an amazing massage with Maria—truly one of the best I’ve had. The food was delicious, the coffee was exceptional and available everywhere, and the entire property was clean as a whistle. A perfect mix of comfort, nature, and authentic Colombian charm.

Hacienda Venecia is a beautiful place to stay. The surroundings are gorgeous, with the coffee plants, the tropical trees, the birds... We stayed in the coffee lodge and had a very good experience. Food is delicious, served to all the guests when the bell rings, and cooked "in front of you" by the great staff of the Hacienda. The bedroom was simple but comfortable, with a very nice view (a balcony facing the coffee plants). Coffee was great and free. We did the Cocoa experience and the coffee tour and absolutely loved both. We visited the main house, which was gorgeous too. Organization was great: they picked us up from the bus stop coming from Pereira and took us by jeep to the Hacienda. Also helped us to buy the tickets to come back and gave us a ride to the bus again.

Paradise. If you dream of visiting the perfect coffee farm this is it. The friendly staff, nature at your doorstep, attention to local tradition and cuisine, the perfect climate... The evenings at the main house with nice drinks, the walks around the farm, exotic tropical birds everywhere, options for all kinds of activities. The possibility of a luxury stay, but also offering lower cost options at other parts of the hacienda. We stayed at the main house and our sons in the hostal, overlooking the plantation at a ten minute walk on the other side of the brook. Hacienda Venecia is dedicated to show the best of Colombia to everyone and at every budget. It is amazing to visit a traditional family house that has found a way to survive in the difficult coffee trade. You are on a working farm, but it's so much more than that.

We don’t know where to begin - our stay on the coffee farm has been the highlight of our entire Colombia trip! We stayed in the main house (casa principal) for 2 nights and would highly recommend it. From stunning views, to attentive staff and excellent home-cooked food, we were blown away. Excellent coffee tour and the amazing, hard-working women who cook the meals and take care of the house were exceptional. Most likely the best food you’ll have in Colombia! Well-maintained gardens as well. Loved watching the humming birds.

With unlimited coffee, cozy and clean rooms, hot showers, and friendly staff, you are sure to enjoy your stay at Hacienda. All meals are served family style with the other guests, which were all very fun and very delicious. Bonus points as dessert (postre) was served for both lunch and dinner.

Amazing location with panoramic views and complete privacy. All the amenities you could want. Jacuzzi, BBQ Grill, Fire Pit, fully stocked mini bar. I can go on. This experience is well worth the price.

Everything exceeded our expectations. We did not leave our paradise for the duration of our stay. We were surprised by the stylish, generous architecture, the amazing views, the jacuzzi, the delicious breakfast and also the unique idea to provide the „raw“ food for dinner to bbq it in the nicely equipped outdoor kitchen. The sunset 🌅 was spectacular.

This was a return visit because I truly enjoy this place. The facilities are immaculate, the staff is amazing and responsive, and the restaurant delivers true fine-dining quality. Drinks, pool, and jacuzzi area are all exceptional. We had an exciting hail storm during lunch that livened up our visit too.

An unforgettable stay at Atardeceres del Café! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The room was huge, beautifully designed, and opened up to a breathtaking view of the mountains and coffee landscape. Waking up to that scenery felt like a dream. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing afternoons, with the warm water and stunning surroundings making it hard to leave. The food was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. I treated myself to a spa session, which was deeply rejuvenating and exactly what I needed. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the treatment left me feeling completely renewed. Finally, the staff were incredibly attentive, always warm and welcoming, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. Their hospitality truly made the experience memorable. I can’t recommend Atardeceres del Café enough. Whether you want relaxation, romance, or just to soak in the beauty of the Coffee Region, this place delivers it all.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the lady on reception whose name I unfortunately forget. Breakfast buffet was great too. I arrived towards the en f of the breakfast hours; the eggs were running low the staff quickly offered to prepare something fresh for me. Thank you !

The lady on reception was amazing (wish we had got her name) Helped us get a taxi and just overall exceptional customer service. Room was great and bed very comfy! Shower great too. The facilities exceeded our expectations for the price. Only thing to mention is plant based milk for breakfast would make it 10/10 :)

Room was nice big clean and nicely furnished. Most of the time quiet. Good curtaind ans windows. Breakfast room nice, breakfast ok. With alot of fruit 3 types. People in the hotel really nice and helpful. Big white towels.

Love the decorations, very fun and happy. The staff was super friendly. The hotel is in a good location, a couple of blocks from the plaza. The shower was big and water was hot. Overall it was clean. The breakfast was decent, quite a few choices.

My stay at this hotel was for a stop over while en route to Medellin. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The hotel staff is friendly. My room had a beautiful view of the mountains including a distant active volcano. There are few if any shops within walking distance of the hotel that I could identify. Across the street it is possible to look down and see the city of Manizales. This is a good basic stop over hotel while en route to another destination.

By blind luck on our part, the location turned out to be perfect: easy walking distance (to the extent walking is ever easily in hilly Manizales) from the monument at the top of Chipre, as well as the Ecoparque, and next to the Parque de Aguas, a good place to catch buses. The staff was not only helpful, but seemed intent on satisfying our needs before we even knew we had them. For example, they arranged our coffee farm tour and advised on transportation. We had a grand room with a view of sunrise over the mountains.

Our family of 12 stayed one night at this hotel for a family reunion and we were very happy with the service. The hotel is really nice and clean, the people working in the reception desk are super helpful, the rooms are very clean and flexible. We stayed in two different rooms, one with 5 beds and the other one with four beds. This was perfect for us!!! Highly recommend it.

Excellent location, clean room and facility, friendly and helpful staff. The front desk staff helped arrange a ride to Pereira for a departure flight that I was worried about making and put my mind at ease for my stay. Restaurant and bar were outstanding with an attentive staff, good food selection, and very good prices for food and drink. Fast WiFi and a relaxing cafe and bar with indoor and outdoor seating. Close to many restaurants and the Cable Plaza shopping center with a good assortment of shops. While I was on vacation, the hotel does have a conference room available for business travelers. My stay made Manizales a wonderful experience.

The rooms were really comfy, clean, quite well equipped and tastefully decorated. The staff was extremely kind and helpful and always keen to make you feel like royalty. The breakfast was delicious and could be had in a lovely balcony. Definitely recommended. And kudos to the staff, they were exceptionally professional.

Check in was a breeze and the attendant was so amazing. He took me on a tour of the hotel and then showed me to my room and explained everything. I've forgotten the attendants name, but he is wonderful. He took my bag down to the taxi when I departed, helped me find a close ATM, and we had a lovely conversation which will continue in July when I return with my mom. The breakfast was good and the attendants for breakfast were so kind, making sure I had everything I needed or wanted. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and the drinks from the bar were as well.

The hotel was grratly located near the business area of the town. Clean and comfortable. The staff was just superb, very welcoming, warm, and genuinely nice. The food at the restaurant was also outstanding with the two amazing ladies putting in the time and effort in each dish for a very tasty meal.

the hotel is modern , looks nice and pretty , its safe and located in a safe area, very clean , all the staff are nice friendly people, the breakfast was great , the only things i didnt enjoy was that my triple room has only 1 small closet , in the morning after about 7- 8am get a little noisy with outside traffic. so if you dont like noise better ask for a room way up on the top because i stayed in the first floor and i could listen everything that was going on in the garage and the front desk. i solved this problem with some earplugs, so everything else was great. also make sure you are aware of and extra 16% local tax they charge thats not included on the websites pages ads.

Really lovely staff, helpful and always available. Very comfortable room, pretty quiet, bit of traffic noise but nothing too bad. Good breakfast. Location is away from main town, but a few restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance. Would stay there again.

The breakfast was good, however, not lot of variety. The shower in the room was outstanding. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel and room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.

A perfect boutique hotel in an accessible location only a short walk away from the main street. The staff were very friendly and professional and the morning breakfast was nice and calming. Everything sparkles like new and the refrigerator with items for sale was helpful too. Everything you need is here. Our room had a street window with a new window that would not close to block the car sounds. We got used to it after a while, along with the blinking hotel sign that lit up the room over night. It is a great place overall.

We had the two-bed apartment - it was huge! Beds were really comfortable and there were extra beds on a mezzanine level which our kids loved. The staff are very friendly, very helpful and kind. It was all clean, our place was always made up every day. Nice bright area. Very easy to travel to central area or Zona Rosa. There are frequent buses along the main road and plenty of taxis.

There wasn't a pool or sauna ir a jacuzzi. The gym had old equipment.

Hotel Estelar worked well for us our one night in Manizales. We had a room on the 9th floor facing west, and the huge windows gave us a wonderful view of the sunset. The wifi worked well, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. We were there on a Sunday night, so unfortunately (and surprisingly) most of the restaurants nearby were closed. There were tons of bars around as well as people out and about. The hotel had light snacks out from ~7-9p, which is a nice touch. Breakfast was good, with several options. The staff were all friendly and helpful and spoke some English.

The hospitality was top notch. Staff was extremely professional kind and helpful. The restaurant downstairs was great, food was delicious (chicken cannoli) was my favorite. Breakfast was delicious every morning. I stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms were clean, good size and I had a great view! You cannot ask for a better location. I am giving this a 10/10 in every aspect. First 10/10 I have ever gave. If I'm back in manizales then this is where I will be.

Great place, stellar views, quiet, spotless room, comfortable bed, nice appointments in the room and bathroom, attentive staff. They found us a great driver for a coffee hacienda tour when we arrived too late for the standard tour. A block away are good restaurants, a huge, bustling Juan Valdez cafe, a big shopping center, and the Torre del Cable and its plaza. Reasonable price for what you get. We had a really nice, memorable stay here.

Check in at the hotel was fast and friendly. The room was really roomy and comfortable for the price. The bed was nice and the shower huge. The hotel is located in an area of Manizales where you can walk to bars and restaurants. The hotel went above and beyond arranging transportation to the airport about an hour away. Breakfast was a nice buffet and excellent in any way. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Manizales.

Stayed here for a week with my family. Very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. The hotel is very clean and the staff was amazing. Great breakfast included. Nice rooftop jacuzzi and spa area that I never had the chance to use. Our room had a kitchenette was was great for my young kids. We cooked dinner every night there. Our room was on the main street so it did get noisy at times, especially on Saturday nights.

The staff was super nice and always ready to assist me with all the things I kindly asked :) My room was spacious and clean with a very comfy bed, and a nice ceiling shower. TV cable wasn’t the best in terms of variety but the spinning tv wall in my room blew my mind as I could comfortably watch tv from my bed or the couch on the other side of the room. I had some Internet issues but were resolved a few hours later. they even offered an office space given the inconvenience. :) I LOVED their (very Colombian) breakfast which leaves you ready for the day. It included freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, assortment of fruit, eggs of your choice, cheese, arepa, a tiny croissant and a Colombian bonus track (I got a little tamal and a piece of pork rib the next day!) The Hotel is located in a nice part of the city with plenty of supermarkets around, ATMs and even a Mall. There are also plenty of nice restaurants in the nearby area of Milan. Their terrace in the 7th floor is very cute as you have a nice view of the city while enjoying the jacuzzi, and although it has a roof you still have the outdoors feeling with plenty of air circulation, and towels! I also got to enjoy their “Plan amigas” which included a massage, a glass of wine, a cute dish of national cold cuts, cheese and fruit. So yeah... it def worth the money, and you’ll get an great service!!

I came to Manizales on a business trip and the Quo was recommended as it was within 15 minutes of where I needed to be for work meetings. This was my first trip to Colombia and the QUO hotel did not disappoint! At first I was concerned about the lack of climate control but it was not an issue. Another person traveling with us gets cold very easily and he was griping but the rest of our party found it quite comfortable. It felt weird to sleep with the windows open but we quickly adjusted and they can put a fan in your room if you want one. I was pleasantly surprised that our room had a full kitchen and sitting area. It was spotless, well maintained and modern. The property is conveniently located right across the street from a small supermarket that has everything you might need from snacks, bottled water to liquor. The hotel Wi-Fi was fast and we had no problem streaming on our laptop. I will point out that there was no way to either mirror screen or hook up to the tv via HDMI. This was important for us as we had recently started learning Spanish and wanted to stream US television. Breakfast included in the room rate and had good options. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in organizing who went into the various room types. Overall, a fantastic stay and my husband and I cannot wait to travel back and explore more of what Manizales has to offer.

I have stayed in every type of hotel from Times Square to Tel Aviv and I can assure you you will not be disappointed by this smaller hotel whatsoever. If they have it at the Ritz, they have it here, albeit cheaper and on a smaller scale. The location is great next to a really nice mall. The people are friendly and will jump through hoops to get you whatever you might need. They will work through your lack of Spanish and figure it out, believe me. The 7th floor spa and hangout is awesome and with the great weather, you may be tempted to just sleep out there. Breakfast is included and delicious as always in most of Colombia. The hotel is clean and modern and simply perfect for your travels to this beautiful and lesser known part of the country. Thank you to QUO for a great stay. I will return!
