Excellent place to explore the Val d’Orcia with beautiful views. Our suit had a jacuzzi and a sauna which is amazing. Very rustic and beautiful building. Very close to Pienza (18 min drive). Staff were nice. You do need a car to stay in this hotel.

Absolutely idyllic and magical property. Serene and quiet, away from civilization tucked away in the mountains of Trequanda. Perhaps one of the best resorts I have ever stayed at, not just in Italy, not just in Europe, but in the entire world. Definitely recommend a room with a jacuzzi and sauna, that is the moneymaker right there. The restaurant onsite is world class as well. All in all, 5 out of 5 stars, actually make it 6 out of 5. Definitely recommend and hope to return one day.

Stayed here one night only - it is a spectacular building and really impresses. Rooms are in other buildings and, whilst a little dated, are full of character. The check in lady could not have been nicer and, as we were on honeymoon, provided us with a bottle of wine as well as giving us a large room with jacuzzi! There is a nice pool too. I loved this place as it was so full of character and really gave a sense of being away from everything. For the price, it is a great experience and I would definitely recommend it if you are touring Tuscany.

We loved our recent stay at this property! I stayed with my partner on a part of our trip to Italy. The villa is quiet, and it was so fun to stay in an old villa that had been converted to small villas. We never heard our neighbours, and though there were several people staying at the same time it felt very private. Our room was comfortable. We did have a jacuzzi in our room, the only downside which we did not realize the first night is that you have to fill it up, which took about 30 minutes so took some extra planning but was perfect for our second night. The restaurant on the property was absolutely delicious and one of our favourite meals. Breakfast was delivered in a very cute box to our room. The property is beautiful and peaceful. We had a lovely stay!

Perfect setup for deep relax. The rooms are very spacious and stylish. Jacuzzi which you can use guring night time is a huge plus. The accommodation is located on a hill, so there is a nice view on typical Toscana countryside, neighbour residences. The place is also kids friendly.

The staff was excellent and always available via WhatsApp. The location amd apartment was very clean, and the fact that the apartment came with basic staples like salt, pepper, olive oil,Balsamic vinegar, tea and coffee was thoughtful and smart to allow guests from avoiding purchasing these necessities. The breakfast was exceptional and had a huge spread of anything you could want. We used the sauna and turkish baths (dedicated for private use by reserving) and the jacuzzi in February and it was wonderful. The view is peaceful and perfect. Would highly recommend.

Palazzo Brandano in Tuscany offers some of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever seen. Perched on a hilltop overlooking Petroio, the scenery from our room was absolutely unforgettable – definitely a 5-star view. The atmosphere is serene and picturesque, ideal for a peaceful getaway. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, which we appreciated after a long day of travel. However, there are a few logistical downsides that travelers should be aware of. If you’re arriving by car (especially a larger one) be prepared for a stressful drive up very narrow streets and then a steep downhill walk to the parking area. We ended up carrying 3 heavy suitcases down the slope because I didn’t feel comfortable driving it the next morning. The lobby closes between 8 and 8:30 PM, so if you’re arriving late, you’ll need to make special arrangements in advance. Breakfast needs to be ordered the day before due to the small staff, which is understandable since the hotel only has 9 rooms, but it does limit flexibility. Also, while there is an elevator for luggage, it doesn’t accommodate guests and had some functionality issues during our stay, which added to the inconvenience. Lastly, the towel I received had noticeable black stains, which took away from the otherwise charming setting. All in all, it’s a solid three-star hotel with an unbeatable view and quiet atmosphere, but guests should be prepared for a few practical hurdles. Worth it for the scenery - just plan ahead.

I love the design and the exquisite decoration of the hotel. The breakfast was Amazing, at one of the various very spacious terraces, overlooking the valley and the peaceful and quiet surroundings. We were pampered with all sort of breakfast courses: Juices, yogurts, fruits, cereal, granola, coffee and tea, almond croissants, jellies and cheese or croissant sandwiches with cheese and ham. The attendants very efficient and courteous.

The room was beautiful and clean. The people that work there were very helpful. Breakfast was abundant and delicious with fruits, yogurt and cold cuts. The view was amazing and the place very peaceful.

The location delightful in the lovely quiet town of Petroio. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We choose Savoury: Egg, granola with yogurt, croissant with cheese and a variety of fruit. A sweet breakfast is also available. The staff was excellent, very helpful, the rooms tasteful and spacious, the bathroom had a nice big shower ( great shower head) . I would highly recommend the Palazzo Brandano.

Stayed the night on transit. Free car parking is available underground (good to be away from the brutal summer sun!). The bedroom was large and bed was very comfortable. Rooms and ensuite bathroom is clean. The room I stayed in the bathroom was notably dating (I'd guess 15 years+ maybe?) though perfectly adequate. The spa is very nice with pool, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and relaxing room where you have various water and apples/fruit available to you. On arrival, you request a dressing gown and flip flops for he spa/outdoor swimming pool. You need to return the gown and get a "return card" otherwise you will get stung for the dressing gown! Breakfast was plentiful, some hot foods (sausages, eggs) a large selection of continental (pastries, cold meats, bread) and fruit. Hot drinks was ordered from the counter.

The staff is amazing, trying to make your life as easy as possible, including soya milk cappuccino :) The bar and garden area are very relaxing. The hotel restaurant serves good food. The property is very clean as well.

Most appreciated - free soft drinks in the mini bar and free tea and coffee on request. Least appreciated - hiring of bathrobe/ slippers for the spa was compulsory with an extra daily charge to use the indoor pool. Hotel was as good as I expected from a Best Western, staff helpful and room warm and comfortable.

Friendly staff, great location, clean and comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, free parking, nice pool and spa area, and really close to the Chianciano thermal baths. Would definitely stay in this hotel again in the future.

In the centre of town. Couple of nice shops nearby. Limited parking, but free parking in the road anyway. Secret garden is not a bistro, just a garden nice to sit in. Dinner starts at 20:00 Room needs refurbishing, but excellent water pressure in shower. No English Breakfast as advertised, but good buffet breakfast included. Counted 15 different cakes..... Nice restaurant 100m up the road, but closed on Mondays ☹ Most restaurants close on Mondays….. Only 10-15 min drive to Montepuliciano where we found lots of wine tasting offers.

We booked this property with intention of having dinner the night we arrived. Unfortunately, without any prior notice from the hotel or from Expedia, we were told that the restaurant was closed for dinner, but that breakfast would be served as normal in the morning. The owners, however, were very helpful to suggest an alternative restaurant within a couple of minutes walking distance where we were able to have a pleasant dinner.

Staff/owners were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. They arranged a car to bring my spouse to the hotel from another region. That alone made for a great stay. The breakfast the hotel provided was very good.

Impeccable property and staff. Everything was perfect. The location was like a postcard, so picturesque. Every thing about this property was beautiful. The rooms were slightly rustic to give that Tuscany charm, but modern and luxe at the same time. Everyone was so nice and helpful. The amenities top notch- from the spa with a great sauna and steam room, to the gym that was enclosed in glass so you can always enjoy your vistas, to multiple pools (we did not use as it was too chilly still), a jacuzzi and a great onsite dining area. Walks around the vineyard topped it all off. Breakfast was delicious and had an extensive variety. The staff recommended a lovely pizzeria in the town of Montepulciano, which is worth going to as it is so unique. Overall every detail was A , will definitely be returning and recommending this gem. We hope it always stays this lovely!

This property is beyond beautiful and blew my expectations out of the water!! There’s so much space, surrounded by views, perfectly manicured. The pools are absolutely amazing, especially the pool bar. The chairs are so comfy and service is amazing. The spa is so perfect and you don’t need to book a treatment to use the facilities and I found that really unique and amazing. It felt like a relaxing retreat. Everyone was quiet and respectful and it truly just was a dream. Our room was decorated so beautifully and we have a big deck with a view - I feel so lucky to have stayed here and will certainly be back!

We arrived pretty late after 10pm and they made it still happen that we will get something to eat. Our lugguage were already in the room when we got escorted to it. The property is pretty big and you can have even a small walk after breakfast or dinner. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. The Spa Treatment was outstanding and the products they are using very nice. They have three pools outdoor and you can choose where you like to relax, the poolboy serves you a refreshment once in a while but you also can order additional drinks. The breakfast is very tasty with a good quality, a lot of items are home-made especially the profitoreles and brownies are just WOW. the breathtaking view in the morning as well in the evening - I barely saw that before. They found a great way to keep the tuscan style of the buildings and adding new elements to it. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Tuscany. We will be back soon for sure! Thank you to the whole team who made our stay so memorable.

Paradise in Tuscany! Gorgeous resort with scenic views of the beautiful green hills and vineyards of Tuscany. The staff was extremely polite and professional and went above and beyond to assure we had everything we needed. Room was very clean and nice and we had great views from the villa suite. The food was our favorite part. We ate breakfast and dinner every day and we tried basically every dish on the menu and there wasn’t one we wouldn’t order again. The wine they offered was spectacular and we could not stop drinking the sorrento and aperol spritz by the pool all day. Overall, this was an amazing experience and I could not recommend this hotel more if you want a relaxing vacation with beautiful scenery while you’re in Tuscany.

We liked everything about this new and amazing boutique hotel. extraordinary service and staff, they helped us with all our requests throughout the stay. The breakfast and dinner served were very tasty with great local products used. The room were very spacious comfy and with cool air conditioning The views from the hotel were amazing too. will definitely come back again soon hopefully

Our room was clean and tastefully decorated - it seems to have been modernised recently. The Spa was the main reason we went and it didn't disappoint - we really enjoyed it. There are about 3 different saunas of varying temperatures, an ice cold shower and mist, ice, 2 large hot jaccuzi pools with water massage features and 2 relaxing rooms. We used it twice, once when we got there and once in the morning which was included in our room package. Breakfast was amazing - lots of delicious, fresh pastries and cakes and a selection of savoury foods too. Coffee made to order - perfect!

My wife and I went for a few days of r&r, with a groupon rate which was very affordable so our expectations were not so high. However, the hotel was great, and the spa amazing. Staff were extremely professional and nice, the building was quite comfortable, and although much of the design was dated it has been renovated recently and manages to have a nice modern touch. The spa in particular was very nice; we love the warm pool with massaging jets and waterfalls, and the choice of saunas was good. Even the breakfast was more than adequate, despite some of the other reviews. The location isn't great if you expect to walk out into picturesque Tuscan countryside or villages; there are a number of abandoned, run down hotels and not much else. But if you have a car this is a great base to visit Montepulciano and beyond.

The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, everyone at reception was particularly helpful. The restaurant serves great food and Davide was especially welcoming. The bar is a great find. Alfonso was very friendly and knowledgeable.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel Ambasciatori Wellness & Spa in Chianciano Terme, and we had a pleasant and relaxing experience overall. The staff truly stood out with their friendliness and accommodating nature. Despite arriving much earlier than the check-in time, they welcomed us warmly, offering us a drink while recommending great places to visit and dine around the area. This thoughtful gesture set the tone for our stay. The spa on level 4 was a highlight—a serene place to unwind while taking in the lovely view. It was the perfect spot to relax after exploring the area. Our room was clean and tidy, with all the essentials we needed. While the bed wasn’t fully comfortable due to slightly noticeable springs, it didn’t significantly affect our sleep as we still managed to rest well. We also enjoyed the hotel’s charming facade, where we could sip tea or coffee while admiring the fantastic views—such a delightful experience! Overall, the hospitality, relaxing spa, and beautiful setting made our stay very enjoyable. Thank you to the wonderful staff for making our visit so pleasant!

The spa and pool area are absolutely fantastic , meals consumed in the hotel very actually very abundant and tasty, and the staff extremely friendly and available, highly recommended (its my second time here)

Amazing location, albeit quite a walk uphill to the central square. Beautiful streets and lovely shops. The hotel was great. The view from the bedroom and balcony in The Albany room is breathtaking across the valley. The room has everything needed including ice making machine, tea/coffee machine, complimentary minibar, Sky TV and a double jacuzzi bath.

Elena was a great host for the property! The B&B Is absolutely adorable! Incredibly unique to the area and Romantic! We had the balcony and amazing jacuzzi tub. Highly recommend this property! Right next door to an adorable shop and great walking. The host also recommended taxi options which we contacted with ease. Very reliable. Couldn't say enough great things about this place!

This was our second stay here, and we loved it. Frederica and Elena take very good care of us every time we come and we find their personalities very pleasing. Our room was the largest and it is so comfortable with a separate living room from the bedroom and a big Jacuzzi tub which we’ve actually never used, but it looks pretty inviting. We can’t come back next year.

We stayed in the luxury suite (2 rooms) for 10 days. Wow! Our view (and balcony) were simply fantastic. We could look out of our bedroom sliding doors and see all of Tuscany and it was marvelous. This Palazzo is very centrally located on the main street of Montepulciano, so you can walk everywhere. There are numerous fantastic restaurants nearby and the staff will reserve them for us (and make recommendations). The staff (Frederika and Eleana) are so very nice, helpful and wonderful....I can't say enough. They also speak English well, so if that is your language you are in great hands. The breakfast was lovely each morning. Pastries, hard boiled eggs, fruit, juices, fresh coffee....a wonderful start for the day. The hotel is only 5 rooms. It's on the second floor and there is no lift. It is extremely safe and secure, so if you are traveling alone, you will feel well-cared for. The Palazzo is gorgeous, with frescos on the walls (and in our two room suite, which was huge, there is a frescoed vaulted ceiling), beautiful floors, and nice furnishings. There is a bar set up in the main public area that is complimentary, as is everything in your mini-bar in your room. The rooms have a Nespresso coffee maker and an electric kettle. Our suite had a huge two person Jacuzzi in the bathroom, which also had a separate shower, bidet and double sinks. We would absolutely stay here again. You will love it.

JAW DROPPING! When I say I what a view, I mean it! Not only that, but service was absolutely incredible. Extremely pleasant staff. They will go above and beyond to do anything to make your stay better. It’s a very small boutique hotel, but that does not mean small amenities or services. Large TV in the living room and bedroom- incredibly easy to connect to your smartphone and watch your shows or listen to incredible music! Bar cart in the lobby for guests, fully stocked fridge and ice maker in your room! Jacuzzi tub that can easily fit 4 adults ( but of course meant for 2). The breakfast is top notch: served to you with coffee, juices, fruits, breads, cheeses. There is absolutely nothing that this place misses. I will hate to leave this place. Btw:ask for The Albany Suite! Not sure if the other rooms have as spectacular a view!

We loved our visit. We will be in Italy from the US for 3 weeks. This by far is the best place we have stayed. Everything was to perfection and was exactly as described in Booking.com. Spacious, gated and very safe which includes underground parking. I loved the jacuzzi tub which is almost obsolete. There is nothing like a hot bath after touring or hiking all day. A shower to rinse off is also part of the jacuzzi or soaking tub. Also a second bathroom w/ shower is a plus.

Borgo Poggiardelli was such a great find! The apartment we stayed in was wonderful! It has everything needed for a more than comfortable stay. The jacuzzi tub was nice! The facilities are well maintained, and the staff were helpful and available for questions via Whatsapp. The restaurant next door is a big plus and wonderful meals! *Secure underground parking! *Lovely surroundings! *Washing machine available (€5) *Short drive to the old section of Montepulciano. *Easy day trips by car to so many towns and villages around this part of Tuscany. *We visited Pienze, which is a very easy drive, and Cortona was about an hour drive. *This is a great home base for Tuscany! *Montepulciano is lovely - take the Hop-on /Hop-off for a fun drive around Montepulciano! *My favorite day trip was to Pienza! It is so charming and a wonderful place to enjoy the art of doing nothing but taking in the beauty all around you! *You will be so glad you chose this location! We absolutely loved it!

Excellent accommodation- spacious and super clean. We had a two bedroom groundfloor apartment (Melograno) with a small private garden. We liked beds and pillows which are comfortable and more on a hard side what we prefer. Kitchen had the basics and equipment to cook however an additional small pan would come in handy. There was a complimentary welcome set of milk, biscuits, tea and coffee. Chiara, our host, was friendly and very responsive. The whole facility is idyllic and peaceful. Underground garage for the cars is a bonus. Excellent restaurant just around the corner.

Our time in the accommodation was simply PERFECT! The flat was lovingly furnished with numerous details, super clean and simply beautiful. We felt very comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. Our little Dog also absolutely loved his time at Borgo Poggiardelli. The location of the accommodation is also perfect - quiet but still centrally located for exploring beautiful Val D'Orcia. If we are in Tuscany again, we will definitely come back. We were blown away by the attention to detail at Borgo Poggiardelli. Everything had been considered to make our stay comfortable and the apartment itself was enormous, pristine and exceptionally well-equipped. It was a bonus to have a bath for our 7m old baby as well as a shower, the free and secure parking made life easy and we loved relaxing in the pool at the end of the day. Ristorante Poggiardelli next door was so delicious and the staff so welcoming that we returned every day and the accommodation is a short drive from beautiful Montepulciano. Michele greeted us and couldn't have been kinder or more attentive throughout our stay. We honestly considered skipping the final leg of our trip and staying an extra 5nights. You won't regret booking this place!

It's an oasis of calm, much welcome after touring busy hill towns and driving winding roads. The apartment Basilico was charming, clean, spacious for 2. We cooked dinner in our apartment twice and appreciated that all the basics were there. This apartment has a private terrace with furniture, which was a comfortable place to relax or eat dinner. Pool area clean, beautiful greenery all around. Host Sandra was exceptional: inviting personality, knowledge of area and recommendations, and the most amazing home made breakfasts.

Beautiful, peaceful setting with pastoral views. Everything was superb! Sandra is phenomenal! She makes sure your stay is incredible. The beds are comfortable with exquisite linens. Sparkling baths, with nice sized, soft towels. Overall well appointed with pleasant touches to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and is particularly noteworthy, many delicious choices! Cannot say enough about her hospitality and first rate accommodation. If you are staying in Montepulciano it is a 5 star choice.

Sandra was an excellent host! The property is beautiful & our room very spacious & comfortable. The breakfast each morning was amazing & delicious! Variety & many choices for all palates. We stayed for six nights and it is a perfect location to explore Tuscany. We even used the pool to relax one afternoon. Highly recommend this gem of a B&B!!

This place was amazing and definitely exceeded our expectations! Federico is a kind and professional host and you can see he wants you to experience the real Chianti life surrounded by all the comfort of his B&b. Our room was on the top floor and was huge! Had a very comfy bedroom, a big bathroom with a great shower plus a kitchen and sofas to relax on a rainy day. It also had a bathtub in front of the bed! We were not lucky with the weather as rained most days but there are some wonderful and traditional restaurants and bars really close to the B&b, loads of great recommendations given by Federico helped us during our stay. Pienza is a wonderful city but we enjoyed even more thanks to this magical place. Check in and check out were perfect, we can't wait to go back!

Amazing modern amenities but centrally located in heart of historical Pienza, no more than 20 minutes from Montepulciano and Montalcino. Free overnight parking around the corner, steps from great restaurants, shops and gelateria. Federico provided maps and suggested restaurants and key places of interest. Bonus was a kitchen where breakfast is served — it was made available to us for coffee and tea or if we wanted to cook, though we did not use it. We will definitely return the next time we are in Pienza!

The room was comfortable and well laid out and very, very clean. The kitchen offered all the amenities one could want: coffee and a place to prep a meal if you would wish. The location is in the old town close to all the nice restaurants and great sites. Federico, the proprietor was extremely gracious and hospitable. He shuttled me to store my Bicycle and gave me an excellent rundown of the best restaurants, taverns, and sites and Pienza.

My wife and I stayed two nights in this "enchanting " B&B. If we could give it more than 5 stars we would. It is in the beginning of the entry to the amazing town of Pienza. Therefore easy to access from the car parks, as well as, to all the magic of this town. Federico the host, was extremely generous with information, as well as, being friendly and available if we had any questions or needs. Please, do yourself a favour and stay in this very quiet, serene and central B&B in Pienza. We will be back!

Brilliant location, have great view to the Montepulciano town. The host was nice and polite. They have great passion for wine. The room has a jacuzzi in the bathroom. You can relax after the drive from Florence with a glass of wine.

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. The unit and beauty of the property exceeded our expectations. We would have stayed two weeks if we could. Some highlights: - Very comfy King sized bed - Great pillows and bedding, towels and pool towels - friendly cats on the property - property is very serene and has an amazing view - AC in bedroom and bathroom - Giant Jacuzzi bathtub with pillows, jets, lights and music - Newly renovated unit with beautiful modern furniture, fixtures and lighting - Free bottle of their wine - Water cooler w/ carafes for fridge - Wine glasses & mugs - Great fridge, and Nespresso machine in the unit We also did the winery tour and really enjoyed it. - staff was fantastic - close to Multipulchiano which is an awesome little medieval town with great shops and restaurants

I just loved everything about the place. We stayed for 2 nights and also reserved wine tour(3 tasting). Celeste was so welcoming, we could get all the information about the stay. Best thing about the property is definitely the view. view from the room is marvelous. Room is also spacious , clean. About the bath, Since I am from Korea, I feel uncomfortable showering with lime water, but water was smooth, much better than most of the other hotels in Europe. Jacuzzi was also good. Pool water was not cold and it was really clean. So we could spend our afternoon swimming privately. We went to wine tour with Tiara and it was very interesting and helpful. We really enjoyed the tour and wine as well. Thanks Manvi I really want to revisit.

Loved our few days spent at Grapevine by Manvi, a small family owned and run vineyard. The location is very rural, so you need a car and the track is bumpy with potholes as this is a working Vineyard in the middle of beautiful countryside. We chose this beautiful place because we wanted to experience staying in the middle of vineyards in Tuscany. The owners were very friendly and made time to chat and made us feel very welcome. The other staff were absolutely lovely. We had 3 rooms for our family of 5 and they were comfortable, clean, rustic and more than adequate for us. And we were pleased there were no TV's in the rooms! It was great to simply have time to play cards, read and simply be. We enjoyed a wine tasting which informative and interesting. And we loved the lunch we had. Breakfast was simple and tasty. Coffee delicious. All our family enjoyed the pool and we liked to see different people coming and going for the wine tastings during the day. It all added to the charm. Montepulciano was a 12 minute drive away. We walked up to an amazing view point to watch the sunset. One of the best sunsets and views we've ever seen. Good choice of restaurants in this medieval town, book before you go. And a really great more local restaurant closer by (still a drive away) very reasonably priced. The views from Grapevine by Manvi were spectacular. Wonderful place.

El baño de los mejores, con iluminación y diseño chic y contemporáneo, pero manteniendo el encanto del Palazzo. El jacuzzi, soberbio. Lo mejor es disponer de la casa entera para los huéspedes, con bebidas y delicias culinarias que la dueña prepara con amor. Su pasión por Il Tosco le pone alma italiana a un lugar para volver muchas veces. Comenzar cada mañana en esa mesa de comedor con una atención personal y exquisiteces fatto in casa es la mejor manera de conocer un lugar con encanto. Gracie per tutti. Volveríamo!

Our stay at Il Tosco was absolutely fantastic. We had the family suite with 2 bedrooms. The rooms are beautifully decorated, clean, and very spacious. The living room was very pretty and huge; it made you feel you're at home. The 2 bathrooms were modern and 5* quality. While in the historical center of Montepulciano, the place is completely quiet and we got plenty of good sleep at night. But the best was the buffet breakfast; it had absolutely everything you could possibly want, and the food was simply delicious. Angelina took such good care of us at breakfast; whatever we requested - cappuccino, fresh OJ, hot chocolate - we got it right away. While all of this was already great, what made our stay a truly exceptional experience was our host Elena. Communication prior to our arrival was first rate and always very quick. During our stay, Elena was always there for us. In fact, we had a little car accident, and Elena and her father kindly helped us with all the paper work and dealing with the other party involved. We couldn't have done this without her as the other party didn't speak English. Elena will not hesitate to go out of her way to help you, whatever it is. What a truly wonderful person. Overall, this was an exceptionally delightful experience. We give Il Tosco our highest possible recommendation. Needless to say, we will be back next time we're in Tuscany.

Breakfasts were amazing! The staff were very accomodating. The owner is the chef and does all the baking. In addition to the breakfast, the kitchen is open with baked goods and beverages all the time. Angelina made sure our stay was perfect. When Angelina wasn't there Jenifer was there to help when we needed it. The location was great if you want to be in the historic area. We walked to restaurants and shops. Il tosco is a beautifully restored historic building. The rooms have all needed amenities, the air conditioning and wifi work well, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are well equipped. One note, IlTosco is on the first floor, which in Italy is not on the ground floor. Il Tosco is about 20 stairs up. The steps are not steep, easy to climb with a landing in the middle. However, we had a lot of luggage and both my husband and I have knee and back issues and could not carry all our luggage up. Angelina and Jennifer promptly carried all the luggage up. They made dinner reservations for us at great nearby restaurants. As I said earlier, they did everything they could to make our stay very enjoyable.

Amazing stay in Montepulciano! Perfect location in the heart of town with stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. Angelina is incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. Clean, comfortable rooms and a delicious breakfast! Highly recommend!

We stayed at Il Tosco for five nights in June 2023, and this bed and breakfast far exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Dante Room which had a postcard picture view of the Tuscan countryside. What a joy it was to wake up to that view each morning! The breakfasts are sumptuous with many baked pastries, made by the owner’s mother, Clori, who is magical in the kitchen. Some mornings we enjoyed pumpkin flan with melted cheese sauce, quail eggs on a muffin, spinach quiche, and even little cups of panna cotta or slivers of cheesecake. We could ask for eggs prepared as we like or a custom omelette. Fresh fruit and juices are plentiful, along with cheeses and salami. Angelina made us cappuccino each morning, and prepared hot water for tea. The kitchen is open at night to all guests if we needed a cup of hot tea or a slice of chocolate tart. Angelina cheerfully made dinner/lunch reservations for us, as restaurants are tiny in Montepulciano. She made restaurant recommendations ( we ate well!), and called taxis for us to take day trips to Pienza and Montefollonico. She did it all with a smile. There are not enough stars to rate this wonderful bed and breakfast. We are already planning our next trip here, and we’ll be bringing friends.

Great location & magnificent views! Clean & comfortable. However, towels were pretty worn out. Also there was no coffee or tea pot and only espresso cups. Breakfast is extra & although it was good, since there are no restaurants close the addition of the coffee pot is a must!! Especially since we rented an apartment for 3.

Our stay at Agriturismo Sanguineto was exceptional – everything we hoped for and more. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled among the Tuscan hills and vineyards, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. The apartment was spacious, and tastefully decorated, blending rustic charm with modern comfort. We especially appreciated the attention to detail – from the well-equipped kitchen to the lovely outdoor space. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing, and genuinely Tuscan experience, this is the place. We would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Beautiful views, sweet staff, very comfortable bed in a big room! Wonderful time here at the agriturismo only 10min drive away from the downtown Montepulciano with so many restaurant and shopping options. Also had eaten at the agriturismo for dinner which was all made by a staff member, Lucilla, with local ingredients, very fresh and tasty.

We had three days/two nights in the area during the off season. The hotel restaurant wasn't open for any dinners, so that must be a high season offering. We didn't partake of the daily breakfast buffet since we brought our own with us. The apartment was nice with a full kitchenette loaded with the essentials necessary to cook yourself. You must have a vehicle to get around, as this is not walkable to Montepulciano. Our first night was uneventful and quiet. The next evening more guests arrived and partied late into the night. This was irritating simply because the apartments are attached and they were terribly noisy.

The hotel located in a vineyard was wonderful. The grounds were beautiful surrunded by olive tree and vineyards. Our consisted of a downstairs living area (soft made into a second bed) and kitchen. The kitchen had all the pans and dishes to made your own Italian dinner. The upstairs had a bathroom and bedroom, The bedroom window opened up to a million dollar view of the country side. The pool was refreshing after a long day of visiting local Tuscany towns. The breakfast (for an added cost) was average. The owner and manager were both very friendly and helpful. This is a beautiful place to stay!

Sarteano is a perfect base to explore Tuscany, the historic centre is picture perfect with several good local restaurants within walking distance. The palazzo is beautiful. We stayed here as a family of 4 in the green room. Everything was perfect, comfortable beds, good strong shower, clean. Breakfast was a real treat, with homemade croissants, cakes, biscuits, jam, eggs etc. Chiara, the owner is warm and friendly. We would love to visit again.

This is really an 11. It is a beautifully restored historical property where Pope Pius III was born. Much attention has been paid to detail and Chiara is the sweetest most wonderful host. She makes the most delicious jams and pastries for breakfast. Our room (for 4 of us) was so beautiful, clean and spacious. The bathroom was large with high quality fittings. The property had a pretty living room and a cosy nook with armchairs for guests to utilise. There was nothing at all to fault. And this is a great quiet base from which to explore the southern part of Tuscany. Truly amazing stay!

the property is old, very cozy, romantic place for couples. very good breakfast, nice garden, nice ladies who take care of the property. the restaurant of the property serves very good food and wine.

The house is amazing! The garden with the tiny pool is really wecloming and calm. With a glass of wine a book it's the island of tranquality. Daria was super nice to us, she show us everything around. The house and the kithcen is very well equipped, the room was comfy. They also have a superb restaurant 2 min away. The town is also super cute, we ahve spent more days without leaving it, just sitting there, reading, having a glass of local wine and gins - it is a place where you can really rest and enjoy your time.

Everything! Debrah the host is amazing and helpful, the B&B is lovely, parking was perfect, the town was my favourite in Tuscany, Daria restaurante was outstanding , the locals are charming, the town is prestine, the walls of the town have a wonderful walkway that’s lite up at night. Magical place, magical people, I will return one day.

Medieval Monticchiello is a ZTL but driving is permitted to parking at the B&B (otherwise park nearby but outside of the walled area). Room was comfortable and mostly quiet but there was some loud, booming music in the village which lasted into the night (one night of two).

i do not give compliments easily. but, this hotel was really, really great. firstly, the location of this town and hotel is just awesome. we got the last room for the night. we got one of the room on the top floor that had a separate bathroom, NOT connected to the actual room. it was a bit of a pain to lock and unlock in and out when you needed the toilet or shower. the shower is very, very dark and tiny. but, the shower pressure is just fine. the room we had was simple w/ some steps to get a view of Tuscany. one of the best part of this B&B is the restaurant. the food is just great and many tourist come to the place just for the food. the view is awesome, food is great and the service is equally as good. the whole family works the restaurant and hotel. one of the 2 sons running the restaurant is really wonderful. i think his name is Marco. the whole family is really nice and tries quite hard to do right by you. if you are staying for the night and need to carry your luggage up the stairs. just be prepared for a tough climb. other than that, the hotel and restaurant is very, very clean and well care for. you will NOT be disappointed. the sons and owner are very much aware of how important these reviews are to the survival of their business. the father and sons worked really late and arrived early to get our breakfast. they have done a great job in taking care of both sides of the business and i can't wait to go back again.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Osteria Del Borgo B&B. The location is perfect – right in the center of Montepulciano's historic district, making it easy to explore the town's wine shops, restaurants, and stunning views. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had that authentic Italian charm you hope for when visiting Tuscany. What really made our stay special was the hospitality. The owners were welcoming and gave us great recommendations for local wineries and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with fresh pastries, good coffee, and local specialties. Their osteria downstairs is convenient if you want a great meal without going far. Franchesco's wine class was outstanding as was the wine! If you're planning a trip to Montepulciano, I highly recommend staying here. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back.

Amazing location on the perimeter of the city, allowing for incredible views from our 4th floor room (Note, whatever you bring....You carry up those 4 flights - in our mind worth it!). Included breakfast was substantial, nice selection of pastry/cheese/fruit/juice/breads. The on-site restaurant is so good that reservations for Both the terrace lunch ( amazing views), or dinner - this is not served on terrace, but tables on street or cozy interior. It was helpful we were escorted by staff, to our nearby paid parking space.

We stayed 2 days and one night at this beautiful hotel and would definitely return in the future. Giacomo’s service made us feel welcome and was very helpful providing us with directions to get to the hotel and finding the parking. This place looks like an apartment with kitchen, living room and bedroom and a cozy fireplace. My favorite part was the beautiful window facing the piazza where you can feel part of the community. The hotel has a terrace where we enjoyed an incredible sunset. The breakfast was really delicious ; prosciutto, Italian baked sweets, great coffee and water. The hotel has also a restaurant with delicious food where we enjoyed an amazing local dinner.

Everything!!! The accommodation was fabulous. The apartment is really well set out with all you need for a very comfortable stay. It’s just a few steps away from the Piazza Grande with views from the bedroom and living room windows. The Restaurant below is 10/10. The food is some of the best I’ve had in Tuscany and the panoramic terrace is a must to visit. The owners of the B&B were easy to communicate with and very helpful. The breakfast was a lovely spread of cold meats, cheese, bread, cakes, yoghurt, fresh fruit, juice and coffee. It was more than enough to eat. I’d definitely stay here again.

Nice location, conveniently connected and not far away from Montepulciano (which is a fantastic city). Spacious house, renovated well. The terrace is really nice to spend some time in the evening. The host is wonderful! Very helpful, friendly, always available. We had no issues with wifi. There is no airco but fans are available and the trees bring needed shade. Sadly piano is not available, it serves as a decoration only, which is understandable but sad that probably guests in the past have broken it.

fantastic view of the Toscana. Clean, comfortable and at the same time, gives you peace, because it is a bit away of the main city. Super friendly staff, they even gave us a cake for breakfast!!!!

The property is very close to Montepulciano. The views are amazing . The Lavazza coffee machine was great. There were even some sweet kitties that came and visited. L ‘Olivete is an excellent restaurant just across the street and down the road a bit.

The view was absolutely amazing. The property was strategically designed where you could look at the vast rolling hills from the kitchen, patio and master bedroom. Amenities were very well thought of, and the water pressure in the 2 baths were really good. Owner came to greet us and even surprised us with a lovely raspberry pie, though we couldn’t have finished it amongst the 3 of us. It is a lovely Italian house that is very cozy.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location and house were stunning, not walking distance from the beautiful town of Montepulciano. Sitting out on the porch looking over the surrounding landscape was a perfect way to relax after the steep walk up to the town.
