We had a very comfortable stay at Hotell Fridhemsgatan, the hotel delivered against expectations with a nice room, good bathroom, quality breakfast, friendly staff and a commercial grade gym. Good wifi, the hotel is closer to Mora Strand train station than Mora C train station.

I’m very thankful to the kind employees and all their help getting me where I needed to be. They went above and beyond. It is a great location. Don’t be thrown by the look of the building on Google. It’s a great place. They had an incredible breakfast and weekdays a dinner. I stayed 5 nights. My only advice is - in winter, it is not walkable from Central Station. You will need a taxi to get to and from the station. I would definitely stay again.

Well done! I want to give a special thank you to the personnel because they allowed us to check out quite late (at 13:00), as I was sick I didn't want to stay outside waiting for several hours my wife coming back from skiing. This was really a great favour! THANK YOU! We will come back for sure. Great place ... and by the way... if you are careful, you can see some photos in the corridors... and you may recognise Staffan Larsson in the photos... and if you are even more lucky, you may encounter him! Suggestion: ask for rooms from 300, they are well renovated and wonderful. Also the non renovated rooms are nice, but the "new" ones are really pretty.

Nice camping place close to the river. Very good breakfast, especially on Midsummer, with fresh "jordgubbar" and "kanelbullar". Small beach on area, good for swimming. We made a hike very close, also very nice.

The rooms now are not only modern but also absolutely beautiful! very cozy (except that double bed was two single beds but that's ok), very organized, had everything one needed, great shower and tv. The breakfast was wonderful and had everything one needs, tho as vegetarians we would have enjoyed a little more warm options but it was great as is. Coffee was amazing! Stuff was really nice and professional.

Very friendly staff that made a solo traveller welcome. Buffet meals had plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner. Having a small indoor pool and sauna was great but I did not have time to explore these fully. Bag drop and shower after my cross country ski race and after check out was the icing on the cake. 5 min walk to train station has to be up there too.

We travel through MORA at least twice per year and always stay here. The staff are super friendly and everything is always spot on - from the breakfast to the room, the parking, WiFi (free) and location.

Excellent location right nearby the station, with a short walk to the centrum. Comfortable room. Staff were very friendly & helpful. We stayed in the lounge after checkout while we waited for our train, very nice, thank you for the hospitality!

Stayed for Cykelvasan. Staff was very friendly and helpful, although their primary job seems to be working in the pub. Parking in their garage was very affordable, and particularly great for Cykelvasan with ample space for working on/storing your bike, including pressure washer to clean it after. Additionally, could use a shower after the race, which was great. Didn’t need the drying facilities, but I’m sure they are useful in the winter. Breakfast was great, with a massive selection of items, and the fact that they serve it from 4 am on race day is certainly appreciated. Staff was again friendly and helpful, despite the early hour.

A quaint property in a great location. The rooms were well appointed and clean. Location was ideal for us on a quiet street in a very pedestrian friendly area with a very nice selection of restaurants and shops one block over and along a pedestrian only avenue. Just two blocks the other direction was a beautiful walking and biking path along Lake Siljan.

Great location (very central, right off the main market square); helpful staff (all our queries and requests were attended despite us being there during Christmas holiday period). Nice breakfast and a great adjacent bar completed the package.

Good service, easy living, pub downstairs, quite ok pubfood and breakfast, could be more vegan options but there are some for both breakfast lunch and dinner. Good beer selection.

Everything you could possibly need, perfect location would definitely return had a fantastic stay.

Fint rom. Savnet ventilasjon både på rom og bad. Ble litt varmt. Den ene overmadrassen var veldig hard i forhold til den andre. Frokost ok(ikke luxus, men helt ok/det du trenger). Kjekt å kunne spise maten ute på terassen. Sto kjøleskap og frysere i gangen som vi kunne benytte, veldig bra👌 God kaffe fra gratis kaffemaskin. Alt i alt , godt fornøyd. Fine uteområder for å sole seg og bade. Nært sentrum, 5 minutter å gå.

Vi bodde två nätter i fembäddsstuga (2 sovrum +kök). Var perfekt storlek på stugan. Alla tillbehör fanns för matlagning där. Perfekt läge för ca 20 min körning till Tomteland när man har barn. Vi gick till hotellet och åt frukost med massor av valmöjligheter (laktosfritt oxå). Extra gott kaffe och med underbar personal som gav det lilla extra om man frågade efter något. Allt som allt en fin upplevelse och vi återkommer gärna till sommaren!

Vi anlände efter att receptionen stängt men incheckning var ordnad och vi fick nyckelkort o info i ett kuvert utanför. Vi fick rum i annexet. Receptionen var under renovering men rummet var alldeles utmärkt. Efter kvällspromenad funkade inte nyckelkortet men efter samtal med jouren hade vi fått ett nytt kort efter mindre än 10 min! Frukost serverades i huvudbyggnaden och smakade bra. Idel lovord!

Conveniently located at the village centre in the perfectly renovated building of old train's station. Very friendly and helpful owner. Room had a nice bed and partial view of the lake. Shared bathrom was clean and shared kitchen had everything you need to make a good meal. Some noce restaurants and shops are walking distance away.

Our room and other premises in the house were sparkling clean and tidy, the environment was nice, quiet and pleasant. We had everything we need. Shared bathroom, kitchen and living room amenities did not feel overshared, there was plenty of space. The place exceeded our expectations, will recommend it to friends and family!

Located close to center of Mora, the hostel was a great base for us to explore the surrounding areas. The room was specious and we always found some space to cook in one of the property’s kitchens. It was clean and we really appreciated that we were able to wash our clothes and hang them up in the basement to dry. Well needed after some days skiing in damp conditions:) it was minus 24 during our stay but the house was still warm. We didn’t meet the owner but communication was swift and friendly. Easy check in. Possibility to charge electric vehicles just outside. We would stay again.

Cheap and well renovated little hotel. Our room was cozy and well equipped. The staff was very friendly and the hotel restaurant served great dinner and an ok breakfast. I don’t think there was an elevator in the hotel but there are even rooms on the first floor.

IT was beautiful boutique hotel. Very well decorated, smelled fresh, good bed, very mysig. The staff was SOOOO kind! Every single people we met had a nice word for us and our dogs. The little minus was the breakfast. It was not bad, but a bit boring but thats ok all the rest was top of the top. And the dinner at the restaurant was fabulous. SO GOOD ! <3

The view is beautiful, the pieces of furniture and decorations very stylish, warm and charming. CLEAN: yes, very much. BATHROOM: large and clean. Modern and very functional. QUIET: yes, a lot Services/Restaurants/Attractions around: I didn't roam around as I already did the shopping before getting in there in the last supermarket before the hotel, some 4-5 km away. The hotel has a very nice restaurant, with good service and delicious food. Not to mention the view, if I didn't enough already.

First Camp Mora was the perfect 2 night break from our two week motorcycle trip in Scandinavia. Loved how walkable the property was. Also loved how we could walk to the Mora downtown to shop, grab food etc. Didn’t have to get back on the motorcycle the whole time we stayed.

Check in and check out was so easy. Beautiful beach and clean area.

Warm and comfy cabin, the shared kitchen and toilets were clean and good

We had a camping cabin which was well insulated and cosy.

We stayed with our two kids taking the big house with a private bathroom, so it was very comfortable, The hosts are very welcoming, they are an adorable couple who were very friendly and ready to guide us and made of our stay a wonderful experience, The place is a bit far from downtown so you have to plan to get a taxi, we came from Stockholm by train and to Mora station and from there we were able to get a taxi that took us to the camp. The next day we visited Santa land and it was easy to return to the camp by local bus, you should walk a bit but it was worth We loved the landscape, the comfortable house, it was easy to order food through the app and the house host was incredible with us. I recommend staying there during winter as we did

I did not get a chance to eat the breakfast due to our other planned activities, but it looked very good and very fresh! We did have dinner there, and it was very very delicious and a great atmosphere. Be sure to make a reservation because they get packed!

Our experience with this camping was really nice! We stayed in the little summerhouse which was functional, though a bit small for a couple with a newborn and 2 kids. The environment and the "vibe" was excellent. There was a restaurant with a small gummy park, which the kids enjoyed a lot. The beach by the lake was also a nice gem, which we liked.

The cottage was spacious and well equipped. There is a bus station close by (15 minute walk). The camping site is on the edge of the town. We saw red deer a couple of times.

The house is amazing, full of history and artifacts preserved with care - from tower clocks to built-in room heating and a Dala common room with an incredible decoration. The staff has been extremely helpful in accomodating my early check-in and with wise advise for a nice hike to a waterfall :-) Rooms are organised by groups, so the shared bathroom and kitchen is only for 2 in my case. Comfortable & spacious room. Fitted kitchen space. There's a TV room as well.

Trunna Vandrarhem is situated in a historical building, so every room and part of the house breathes history - it's an amazing place and a unique experience. I also loved the excellent breakfast which was served on a buffet table in the beautiful dining room. Not to forget the kindness of the manager: when my arrival was delayed and I came after closing time, he very kindly let me in and helped me to find my room - thank you again! The room where I stayed was actually an apartment complete with a kitchen und a small veranda (next to a wooden old church painted in Faluröd). I loved it!

Cosy, plenty of space, wonderfully old fashioned, very nice and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. One of the best we ever had. Also a lot of vegan options.

The location was convenient. The room was clean and comfortable.

Spend New Year's here, decided to stay an extra night but unfortunately our cabin was booked for that extra night but the staff were great to sort us with another cabin for the extra night with no issue. Will definitely be making the trip back in the Summer.

Trip was wonderful. The facility is pretty clean and close to sandy beach. Overall very positive experience. Main downside is that the wireless signal is pretty weak in some area.

It's huge - great cabin and outdoor/indoor playground for the kids.

I took one single room in the house. It was very cozy like home. The dinner and breakfast were very delicious. I went hiking in summer. The view in the mountains is very beautiful. Vasaloppet track goes through garden. In winter, you could have a best view for watching skiing race through the windows in dining room. And it is 22km to the finish point in Mora. And there is also a wonderful ski slope nearby. This is the nearest hotel. 🙂️⛷️

Welcoming, friendly, and very helpful staff. A beautiful building and really nice way to experience an actual Swedish home. The location was really peaceful and can guarantee quiet nights sleep with a breakfast ready to take you through the day waiting the morning after.

Very comfortable room, quiet near the forest with great hiking options, saw a moose in the morning . Simple but functioning and clean bathroom, nice staff. I ordered dinner which was a really nice lasagna and salad with good dressing. Will probably come back in the winter.
