We had a very difficult ride we were tired and hot after riding for many hours and it was the perfect stay. Very big room and bathroom, very clean, very good lighting, great shower, very comfortable beds, late check in, next to the highway, restaurant with good food, good selections open late with good prices, helpful and polite staff, safety for our parked motorcycle that we could see from our room.

Always a comfortable place to stay, free parking, very good restaurant and coffee /tapas bar too. Perfect every time, close to Murcia city and airport.!

Many would categorise the property as a rest stop hotel but dont let that fool you. Our room was clean and did not look one bit dated. Very helpful staff. However the star of the hotel has to be the restaurant attached. They carry galician blond beef. That meal itself made the whole stay super memorable. Definitely a must try!

friendly reception and people, good size and clean room with bathroom , good bed - restaurant good food for a nice price. wifi was good. Ideal to rest while traveling. we didn't have breackfast so I can't tell how it was.

Pros Very central. Almost opposite cathedral and easy walking distance to all major sights of interest. Rooms comfortable and reasonable size, ours looked over a building. Clean, generally well serviced. Frosted glass partition between bathroom and bedroom has a blind but ours didn’t move. Lobby spacious. Breakfast good selection and from 7.00 to 11.00. Food intolerance well catered for. If you get the opportunity then dine in the restaurant. The 37 euro dinner is amazing, beautifully presented, attentive staff.

We parked in the remote car park which was very good and excellent service from the attendants. The hotel was lovely, clean and welcoming. The room was average size but adequate, very clean and all the necessary items in it. The bar restaurant downstairs was excellent with friendly staff and great food for snack or dinner. Breakfast was good with everything you need. Great location and if in Murcia again we will book this hotel.

A very pleasant hotel with an excellent restaurant. We had a 6 night stay in a superior room and were very comfortable. As we were there during the madness and mayhem of Easter weekend and the bando de la huerta, we really appreciated the peace and quiet of the hotel and the restaurant’s willingness to fit us in at the last minute. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and professional.

We liked everything, staff was very nice and helpful, room clean and amenities good, very nice big bed with comfy mattress, bathroom well equipped. Locationg was perfect, very central, lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby.

Hotel is in a great location. Our room was very large with an outside seating area . Great storage area for clothes.Great big bed with comfortable mattress and pillows etc. Quiet. Lovely bathroom with robes and slippers. But one bottle of water throughout the stay. Others available in fridge which would have to be paid for.. However the whole experience was somewhat underwhelming. The very modern reception was unwelcoming. No atmosphere whatsoever. The cellar bar was dark and unwelcoming. Not a place to go for a quiet drink. So much more could have been done with the communal areas of hotel. The room was great , the breakfast was very tasty with great range of choices . But somehow it wasn't the usual 4 star experience for us sadly.

We read many of the reviews about this hotel before we travelled, and was a little nervous about the many bad reviews I read, but I needn't have worried! This hotel if lovely. Yes, the rooms can look a little dated, but this is the only slight negative I have. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were more than adequate for our short stay. We had 2 rooms on the 1st floor with a balcony, overlooking the road. The road noise wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. The pool area was lovely and clean with plenty of sunbeds for those that just wanted to lounge. The pool itself was a godsend as the temp was at least 35 degrees every day of our stay. The pool bar had a wide range of drinks available, and the bar man was very attentive and friendly to everyone. We ate breakfast in the hotel and there was a wide range of things on offer, so there's plenty of choice for everyone. There are a few supermarkets nearby if you need the basics, but there are plenty of restaurants and cafe bars within about a 20-30 minute walk from the hotel All in all, a lovely stay and we will be back to explore more of Murcia

The hotel is clean, modern and spacious. Rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The pool area is a good size with towels and sunbeds and umbrellas available. Breakfast buffet was excellent with a good selection of food and coffee machine, with lactose free and gluten free options available. Staff are great, friendly and attentive. The location is good, about a 15 minute walk to the centre of the city/cathedral area. The car park is spacious, if a little expensive.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are very large and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Pool was a welcoming place to relax and everything was spotlessly clean. Good location with the main area near cathedral about a 15-20 minute walk way. Plenty of of supermarkets nearby too. A kettle in the room would have been nice but there was coffee available at breakfast or to buy during the day.

Hotel was great, rooms spacious and spotlessly clean. We had a balcony room in the 5th overlooking the pool and hotel ground which was fab. Pool area was great, thought it would be difficult to get a bed as not a lot of them, but this wasn’t an issue as a steady stream of guests coming and going. The pool bar had a good choice of drinks & the waiter was very nice and accommodating. The overall hotel is very clean with pleasant staff. The only downside was breakfast on the first morning, it was incredibly busy, and they had ran out of large plates and unable to give me one on request. Didn’t seem to be a choice of freshly cooked eggs.. overall though a lot of variety, and this wouldn’t put me off. Just not the same relaxing environment at breakfast which was evident across the rest of the hotel. Hotel was just over a 10 minute walk to plaza circular - at the top of town. Can feel longer in the intense heat, but can get a taxi outside the hotel for under €5. Also lots of supermarkets close to hotel. Would stay again and definately recommend - pool was a life saver in the heat.

Very close to city centre. Good outlook to rear. Quiet, good-sized room. Comfortable beds ( though mine a bit creaky for my partner if I got up in night.) Very pleasant breakfast room and excellent breakfast selection. Prices lower than expected in bar. Very pleasant service at bar for tea or coffee for bedroom. Large and comfortable lounge area on ground floor (we didn't use.) Good lifts, good wifi.

Great location if you're going to an event in the Murcia bull ring as it's just round the corner. Hotel is extremely clean, well cooled (it was 42c outside during our visit), and the staff are very friendly. Clean, comfortable rooms - really nice comfy bed. We didn't eat in the hotel, other than breakfast. Breakfast buffet had a wide variety from hot bacon, fried or scrambled eggs, sausage and fried veg (tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers - aubergine and courgette one morning), to an assortment of bread, the usual cold cheeses and hams, a good selection of fruit, yoghurt and cereals (nice to see pumpkin and chia seeds offered in addition to rolled oats). Also a big table of the more 'heart attack' material in the form of croissants and cream-stuff pastries. Good coffee from the machine but, like every Spanish hotel I've ever been in, ever - not great tea ... and that is why I always travel with teabags!

Great hotel, we were warmly welcomed by friendly efficient staff at reception. The rooms are spacious, very clean with good large comfortable beds, I had a really good nights sleep. The bathroom was a good size and well equipped, along with a nice shower and ample hot water. Excellent wifi! The hotel is well located for the city centre. We had booked for 2 nights but due to a flight delay we only stayed for one, I just wish it could have been longer.

It was a lovely hotel and our room was so nice,big and spacious with a good size bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and separate shower. We were close to everything as the hotel is in the centre so we will definitely be going to stay there again

Having previously stayed at El Churra, I knew what to expect. Friendly helpful staff, spotlessly clean rooms and a lovely restaurant on the premises. El Churra is also in a very central location. We stayed in a suite at no extra cost and the decor and spacious layout was amazing! I would highly reccommend staying here as it is definitely great value for money!

Great location, close to supermarkets, restaurants, green spaces. Walking minutes to old city and attractions. Small but comfy rooms, very clean, excellent shower and bedding, friendly staff. Has a cafeteria in lobby with reasonable prices.

The location was central and made moving around easy. The staff were friendly and welcoming the hotel was clean and inviting. It has a restaurant attached to it so food and drink was good.

We loved the location as the concert stadium was only a matter of metres away. The room, bed and bathroom were clean and spacious with a comfy roomy bed. Excellent facilities with fridge and safe at no extra cost.

The hotel was immaculate clean. The receptionist who did the check-in for us was very professional and serious about his job (we had just booked the hotel minutes earlier, he made sure our booking was correct). The room is very clean and very spacious. Beds have a good size and the bathroom was also quite big.

The breakfast was the best we've had in Spain, with a huge variety of good quality ingredients. The staff were great, friendly and helpful and everything was very clean and bright. Great to have a car park adjacent to the building with easy access.

It's our 'go to' hotel when we go to concerts in Murcia. It's not directly in the centre of the city but it's easy walking distances to venues. It's great value for money, immaculately clean, good facilities, good size rooms and large comfortable beds. Staff are always helpful, courteous and polite.

Perfect location just a couple of minutes walk to the cathedral , Episcopal palace, County halls & numerous bars & restaurants. Really comfy bed- lots of extras - welcome drinks on the house, chocolates & a hand written note for my partner’s birthday. Water left daily in the mini fridge. Excellent facilities- hairdryer & straighteners, iron & ironing board & coffee machine & kettle in the room- ample free toiletries- tea & coffee. Lovely bar area to relax in - dining room really spacious & the breakfast is exceptional - vast choice of quality ingredients - top notch!!! Hot breakfast, breads, cold meats & cheeses, olives, a huge choice of fresh fruit, fruit juices, yoghurts & pastries - one of the best breakfast spreads I’ve ever experienced & not to be missed!

Loved it, location was perfect unless you are unable to park and walk in. If not there is the fear of the pedestrianized area around the hotel meaning you have to be wary of a rising barrier (we parked) (The hotel sends loads of information about how to make either drive to the door or their subsidized car park partner and I guess we would have succeeded with either.) Check in was good, we had to go back and get our free welcome cocktail card , but all OK. The room, we opted for twin beds and the room was OK, nice and clean, not big but as sold. The wardrobe doors needed some strength to move and really we should have complained so they could fixed them, I now think. Small frosted window because the view was scruffy city center and that was fine. Fridge, hummmmm! no noise but so very small a 500ml water could not strand up, was enough for my medication and we juggled "free small bottled" water, flask and not much else. Safe, nice size, needed a reset, sorted quickly. My brother had a room with a balcony/terrace. was nice idea but too hot for much use, views were tatty (it is how it is there) but was a very small addition, I would actually consider it if we stayed again. Cocktail bar, nice, seating outside front, nice. The rooms are not soundproofed at all so may be an issue. (I could hear my brother in his room chatting from the other end of the corridor.) Shower really good, bathroom small but good. Breakfast great. I would use them again, good value.

We did a lot of research about where to stay in this city and made a great decision by choosing this place. From the moment you check in you feel welcome and valued and we had a very comfortable one night stay there. We were greeted by Adriana on Reception who was wonderful. Helpful, professional and great fun she is a fantastic front of house for the hotel. The location is perfect and right in the centre of things. We had a 1 km walk from the bus station but the hotel has on-site parking very close by. To be honest, the room was quite small but as we were only there for one it didn't matter the space was very well used on the bathroom particularly nice. You had everything you needed in there including a safe, good air conditioning which is important, and a comfortable bed. We also chose a Terrace room which was fantastic and really made our day special as we use the balcony loads. We were room only so I can't comment on the food but a nice touch is that you are given a voucher for a welcome drink which turned out to be a delicious rum punch made specially for us. we enjoyed these out at the tables on the street watching the locals go about their business. The Wi-Fi was very good for the most part although it didn't really reach the terrace which was no big deal. It is free and easy to login into. Overall we had a fabulous stay in this place and wouldn't hesitate to return should we get the opportunity to do so.

We received a warm welcome on check in and were offered free cocktails on our first evening (very nice). The room was clean and spacious. We were a party of three and had three large single beds. The air con was fantastic and the shower clean. Free refrigerated water and tea and coffee were provided in the room. Having read some dubious reviews of breakfast we were in two minds about accepting the early booking offer of €7 each but did. It was the right choice. The selection was fantastic. If you want a full English then go somewhere else but if unlimited breads, cheeses, meats, yogurts, smoothies, fresh fruits, juices, pastries and the biggest build your own muesli station I have ever seen are your thing then it’s wonderful (see photos). The hotel is centrally located and perfect for sightseeing and all the nearby bars, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend.

My daughter and I chose this hotel to celebrate her birthday there.From the moment we walked in, the staff were so warm,helpful and friendly. Guilia and Adriana are such an asset to this hotel and we can't thank them enough. The hotel - excellent location around the corner from the cathedral square. Close to lots of shops and cafés all on the level and pedestrianised. Excellent breakfast which is reduced to €8 if you book the previous night. Plenty of fruit, different milks to accommodate allergies, hot buffet, pastries and cereals including gluten free options. We returned to lovely chocolates in the room from the hotel on my daughter's birthday which was so nice. The room - we were in 234 (standard) a twin room. It overlooked a quiet street above the main entrance. Very clean,comfortable and quiet. Added bonus of hair straighteners in the bathroom. Surrounding area - we enjoyed a daily morning and evening walk along the shady Grand Via which is also beautifully lit up at night. Only 2 minute walk from the hotel. We had meals at El Togo 11(very Spanish). La Terazza (lovely) on Cathedral Square and the tasting menu (option 2) at Pura Cepa(6 minute walk) was exceptional. All in all a very enjoyable city break in the sun in a lovely hotel but the staff really make it.

Hotel is across the river from the city centre but it is well served by two foot bridges and one that allows traffic It takes 10 mins to walk from the hotel to the cathedral and pretty much everywhere in Murcia The rooms are very clean and the staff are nice I was asked if I wanted to upgrade for 40€ per night to get a balcony but there isn’t a great view around the hotel due to other buildings being an alley-width away so I declined this The pool is very small - only 1m deep and there’s a sign saying that only 6 people should be in it at a time ( but there were sometimes a couple more than that) There’s only about 11 loungers by the pool and there was only one day that I couldn’t get one - the loungers are good quality and comfortable and the towels were always available and a good size The pool bar is fully manned at all times but it is not well stocked - when you order a drink, the poor barman had to go out to the hallway and phone the main bar and order your drink and then come back and take payment and then someone from the main bar would come up in the lift with your drink Could do with having more drinks available or at least install a phone/order system inside his side of the bar to make life easier and a bit more streamlined for guests I found the hotel very quiet at night. The blackout curtain was very black and the bed was comfy so I slept really well

My daughter and I are currently staying at this hotel on a 4-night city break with Jet2. The hotel is in a quiet spot, which aids a lovely, quiet sleep. The beds were super comfortable, and the room was dark, thanks to the blackout curtain. The main attractions in Murcia are 10-15 minutes away on foot. The hotel is clean and well-appointed, and the staff have all been very polite and professional, welcoming us back each day. The pool area is small, but perfect for a quick dip after a busy day of sightseeing. The loungers are comfortable, and the parasols offer plenty of shade - which is needed in this 44° heat! We ate in the restaurant one evening. There was a good selection, and the menu was well priced, but the food was very average. There are a few places to eat around the cathedral and tower. The hotel has a couple of supermarkets close by, and the bus station is around 20 mins walk, or €8 in a taxi.

The room was a good size with good facilities. The bed was very comfortable, bed linen clean and good quality. The en-suite was a good size, with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very comprehensive with a wide choice of hot and cold food, coffees and teas, and fruit juices. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the meal was delicious. We made use of the bar and the seating area on more than one occasion, it was very comfortable and pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely quiet location but just across the river from the old town where the bars and restaurants are - it's a very walkable city. The bed was really comfortable, the room was nice and spacious, and the breakfast was delicious and good value.

This is a very likeable hotel within 10 minutes walk of the historic centre of Murcia. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we were impressed by the size of our room. The mattress was comfortable, the WiFi efficient, and the bathroom spacious. It was also a quiet location. The breakfast buffet was very decent with a good selection of items for all tastes. The fresh orange juice was a real highlight!

Great location for the stadium, as we were going to see a concert. Free parking and coffee too. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower was spacious. Everything you needed for an overnight stay.

First turning up, I did think it's on the side of a motorway and I've made the wrong decision. But honestly, I cannot fault anything about this hotel, Welcoming, clean, polite staff and it's next door to a mall filled with shops bars and restaurants. I had two dogs with me and they was made to feel just as welcome. Breakfast in the morning is very limited, but it's just enough,

The bed was super big, very comfy, coffee making facilities in the room, and water and biscuits. In the lobby there was free coffee at all times. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Good value for first class stay.

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Murcia. The hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly. It has no pool or bar which I had already read. We upgraded straight away as we wanted a kettle and coffee machine. Lovely walk in shower, gel, shampoo & hair dryer. TV with 1 English channel. Breakfast had everything you wanted Sanish omelette, yogurts, hams, cheeses, fruits, cakes, bread, boiled eggs, pasteries etc. The rooms have air-conditioning and a fridge but I would definitely recommend ear plugs for the various noises. Next to all the amenities. The bus station to take you to and from the city is approx 10 mins away. It's a typical Spanish city with siesta time. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and stay again 👍😁

A perfect location one minute to the cathedral and all bars and restaurants. The room was small cosy clean good powerful shower. Breakfast was ok. The only issue i had was on check-in, which took around 20 minutes.

We are just back from a 5 night stay in Murcia. The local Moors and Christians festival was in full swing and there was plenty to see and lots of food outlets in the gardens. Often activities don't start until 10 or 11pm, so you really need to be a night owl. The Hesperia Murcia hotel is the perfect place to stay and we couldn't fault it. You are within a short walking distance of all the main sights, including the Cathedral and the Casino, a fabulous building, which was the highlight of our visit. The hotel is modern with good sized rooms and bathrooms. We had a superior room which included a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Murcia is rather off the beaten tourist track and few of the restaurants' staff speak English but we managed to get by with a little Spanish and a good translation app. We travelled by local bus to Cartegena, which is also well worth seeing. All in all, Murcia was a lovely surprise and I would definitely recommend a visit.

Cozy hotel in the old town of the city. Ideal for visiting Murcia on foot. Room of fair size but well designed. Very large and comfortable king size bed. Friendly staff, Ivan was a great host. The space of the mezzanine is exceptional, elegant and with a good size for a meeting between friends in the TV Room. We didn't have breakfast but it seemed to look good, at least it smelled very good of freshly baked food from the Buffet lounge. Bis zum nächsten Mal Team!

We ate breakfast in different local bars each day. We wanted to experience the Spanish way of life. We have used this hotel a number of times before & like it very much. It has a good location, friendly staff & is very good value.

Lovely staff, very helpful. Toiletries provided, kettle, comfy pillows. The view from the terrace was amazing and we had loungers and a little table outside too. Luggage storage. Drinking water available in the lobby. Tea and coffee making facilities. Convenient for the main sites (cathedral, convent, gardens, restaurants etc) all easily accessible on foot.

I’m an extremely picky traveler, so when I say this place exceeded expectations, I truly mean it. RH Morthia is perfectly located—right in the center, close to all the bars and within walking distance of everything. You can’t beat the location. The room felt like something out of a five-star hotel: spotless, stylish, and super comfortable. From the marble bathroom to the thoughtful amenities like a toothbrush kit, comb, and body lotion—everything was just right. The mattress was incredibly comfy, and there was even a proper desk and chair setup. But what truly made this stay unforgettable was the staff. I have to mention Laura and Javier—absolutely exceptional. They made me feel genuinely at home, something you rarely experience in larger city hotels. Their hospitality went above and beyond, especially during the major blackout across Spain while I was there. The way they handled it with calm and care was remarkable. I also want to thank Jose, who was there overnight, and Oksana in the morning—always smiling, warm, and welcoming. The whole team made a lasting impression. Honestly, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Morthia. This hotel is more than just beautiful—it’s run by people who truly care. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was brilliant. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and had an amazing view from the window. Most bars/restaurants and tourist things were a 5/10 minute walk so I would definitely recommend this hotel.
