It was amazing we had a quiet room and that was great for the littles that we had with us since they were so noisy 😂 😆 😂 😆 The rooms were amazing and spacious and the beds were so comfortable, we loved the jacuzzi. We ordered the breakfasts and they were yummy and very filling for the adults and the children.

My room was very clean and cosy, the kitchenette plus hotplates sufficient, relaxing in the spa after travelling from Perth was superb. Very friendly and welcoming owners and staff. A safe environment. Close to city centre. I will definitely recommend Portmans Motor Lodge to family and friends.

Date: 5-8th January 2024 Location was amazing, within walking distance to the main centre. Own parking space provided (bonus). We left our car parked up while we walked around town. Only used when we went to speedway & the Hastings market Love the open space & how you can sit outside the rooms (chairs provided) and enjoy the company with others. Bbq and pool on site. Kitchen facilities and laundry available to use. Comfy beds. The rooms are nice and cosy with an aircon and a fan available to use. Extra blankets and pillows were provided. The staff were amazing. Cheers to the weekend cleaners for doing an amazing job, need more friendly staff like you guys. Will definitely recommend this place to others. Thanks team for making our weekend stay a pleasant one 🫶🏽

The Lady that greets you she was so kind & friendly ...the rooms were perfect the location perfect 🥰 and the pool even had a selection of breakfast to choose from loved the stay very comfortable took a walk into town 5mins had dinner ...took a walk around the city centre was there for a funeral service & burial much appreciated 👍

This motel was very upmarket and clean. It was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very spacious with the added bonus of not only a large shower but also a spa bath. I have no problem recommending this to anyone else who wants a great stay.

We had a wonderful two night stay here. We got a call from Katrina to let us know our room was ready. We loved the location, being in walking distance to Havelock North Village, with shops and restaurants. Great to have a New World supermarket across the road. Our room was upstairs and was spacious and had everything we needed. A very comfy bed, seating inside and outside, a lovely bathroom with lovely toiletries. We chose to have a continental breakfast one morning, which was great and good value. Katrina and her staff were really friendly and able to give us ideas of local attractions.

The rooms are actually nicer than the photos, our room was well equipped with small cooktop and enough cooking utensils to cook if you needed to, plus all you’d usually expect. Very clean, SO spacious, beds were comfortable. Hosts were very accommodating of our requests and check in was a breeze, part of our party checked in first in another room but we were also checked in and our key left in our room. Great location, a short walk to everything you’d need - restaurants, bottle shop, pharmacy, supermarket, gas station, McDonalds etc. Overall a great stay, would definitely stay again.

It is well located, spacious, very clean with nice and fluffy towels. The owner was friendly and hospitable. Walking distance to restaurants and shops and close to wineries. We really enjoyed our stay.

Views are amazing overlooking the beach. Second time I've stayed here and love early morning walks on the beach and there's an amazing coffee cart nearby so very much enjoyed eating on our balcony. Aquarium is across the road and many restaurants and beachfront activities are within easy walking distance. And the spa bath is amazing!

Pebble Beach is a great option for Napier. We had a huge room on an upper floor with a balcony and an unobstructed view of the water. The location is terrific, about a 15 minute walk along the beautiful Marine Parade to downtown's cafes and restaurants. We especially loved Roam Cafe which is also on Marine Parade on the way into town. There was a small kitchenette with supplies for our morning tea and coffee. There was also a stereo and DVD player, useful for rainy days. The AC worked well. We appreciated the guest laundry (there's only one washer and one dryer but we didn't have to wait long). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking in a large lot was a big bonus. The room decor felt a bit dated but it was comfortable and very spacious. We also spent several nights at the Nautilus, another motel about a block away, and felt that the room was slightly nicer and the price quite a bit lower.

Fairly Motor Lodge. We have now stayed at Fairley Motor Lodge three times in 14 Months. We love staying in the area as it has all we need with Restuarants, Cafes, Bike Tracks etc. Close to the beach.The Fairly Motor Lodge has always been very welcoming. The rooms we have stayed in are always Comfortable, Clean and the Staff are always extremely Friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room we had a few weeks ago was roomy, light and we had the bonus of a Spa Bath and Table and Chairs outside the room.

Despite the age of the motel, it is in a good location within walking distance to Ahuriri, comfortable, clean and well appointed. The bed was most comfortable with extra duvet available if needed. Heat pumps in bedroom and living area provided effective heating. Spa bath and shower had good hot water supply and water pressure. The motel unit was very clean and well serviced daily. The bedroom was quiet at night ensuring good quality sleep.

Very friendly welcome, clean, modern room. Close to the beach. 15 minute walk to bars and restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at Fairley Motor Lodge. Nice and quiet; spacious and well equipped. Incredibly comfortable bed! Our hosts and staff were attentive and approachable - really giving us the quiet space we wanted. The location is ideally close to the SH50 bypass in order to explore the wider region - and wineries. Many great eateries close by many open over the Easter weekend. Would come again next time we are in the Bay and stay again and highly recommend Fairley to future visitors.

Receptionist was very helpful, we requested to check in early and she responded straight away to let us know that it wouldn’t be an issue and that the room was ready. Upon arrival we were greeted and assisted by her. Very lovely lady. Room was modern, clean and had a welcoming feel to it. Nice outdoor space and the facility has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable and the couch was also a fold out couch, several extra blankets provided as well as extra towels.

Stayed at their deluxe suite with jacuzzi bath and my family loved it! Spacious room with kitchenette which was really good because I love to cook our food, at least breakfast, even when we’re on holiday. Location was close to almost everything, beach, the city and other tourist attractions. Highly recommend!

We had booked a studio apartment, but upon arrival, we found we had been upgraded to an Executive Spa room! Bargain!! The room was a good size, the bathroom was huge, with floor to ceiling tiles (which is unusual in a motel). The spa was a great size and really good. The shower over the spa had good pressure and lots of hot water. Kitchenette was good, although we didn't cook. Loads of power points, especially near the bed. The bed was super comfy. Very close to the port area with a lot of restaurants and bars. Also has a coin-operated laundry, which we utilised. Staff were super friendly and very helpful.

Situated in a quiet location, quick walk to exceptional views, close vicinity to some exceptional restaurants and cafes. Clean, facilities were great, and the staff were so accommodating and friendly!

This unit was modern, clean comfortable. On a main road, but did not hear traffic noise, great location, you can walk to restaurants bars and beach. Staff very friendly.

The area itself is great. The food in the restaurant is amazing. The sauna and jacuzzi are nice. But what really makes this hotel great is the staff.

Very nice 'apartment' on two floors. But for 620$ per night we expected more...at least a full minibar, not an empty fridge. Netflix on both floors, not just on one TV. Sauna and jacuzzi are self operated? And they ask you to put back a pretty heavy jacuzzi covering when you're finished...it really didnt feel like a 5* service. But the estate is beautiful, and the staff was very friendly. However they do need to work on 5* details.

Stunning gardens, Old estate building and lovely large room. Large jacuzzi bath showrr and double sink. Air con, terrace with morning sun private from other rooms. We stayed in the Herutage suite. Large bed and small sofa area. Cookies on arrival and shown the facilities available, water in fridge daily, pool sauna and gym very nice. Breakfast included. Option to book 5 course dinner 1 night. Good driving distance to vineyards and very close to Havelock Town which has great restaurants cafes and shops.

We had a special occasion, and we thought there is no better place, then to stay at Mangapapa Hotel and have High tea and Dinner. Upon our arrival we got greeted by Alaria and taken straight up to our room, which was a spacious Homestead Suite. We immediately,we went to the dining room and had our High tea, which consisted of a wide selection of savoury and sweet treats. Very tasty and very artistic prepared by Chef Lovely, and well explained by Alaria . For dinner we had a 3 course and 5 course menu. The selection of courses was perfect, portion size just right and the flavours were amazing. Well done Chef Young. We received great service from Patience our waitress and a young man from Nepal, which I forgot. Sorry Our room was very comfortable and clean, and my wife enjoyed the bath. Breakfast consisted of a continental section and hot food to be chosen off the menu,which was fairly extensive. The homemade sour dough bread selection was very tasty. We enjoyed our time very much. the Service was antentive,but never intrusive. We certainly would stay again at the Mangangapa Hotel. Thank you for a lovely stay

The property is beautifully maintained, and you get to wake up surrounded by gorgeous greenery and to the sounds of nature (the cutest, little lambs). Although the property is situated on a stretch of busy streets, you barely hear any traffic noises. Perfect for switching off and relaxing. Opting for the Lady Watties suite, we had the luxury of our own private spa bath. Our stay got me hooked onto their delicious coffee, and had me purchasing the same coffee beans for home. As a happy coincidence, I also found my favorite cider on my visit. We dined at the restaurant and opted for a 3-course meal. They were very accommodating of our dietary needs, and the food was lovingly prepared and tasted exceptional. The breakfast was some of the best food I've ever tasted. Everything was freshly made, and tasted divine. The attention to detail on each element of every dish was phenomenal. It was a wonderful experience, one I will not forget soon.

We were impressed by this motel. The room was clean and fresh, the decor modern and the private courtyard a peaceful place to relax. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The outdoor area was well-kept and welcoming. While there isn't much to do for kids, other than the pool, the motel is very close to local attractions. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would stay here again.

This was a well situated, clean and quiet motel. Though on a main road, it is well set back from the road so is very, very quiet. The units are spacious and modern, the staff are friendly and you still get a daily newspaper, delivered to your door! Ample parking and close to the CBD.

From the moment we arrived to a warm and friendly greeting to the comfy beds we were delighted with our stay here. We had a 2 bedroom suite and while the decor is dated the rooms are incredibly clean and tidy. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. Extra blankets and electric blankets were available which was good as it was a cold night. The shower was superb - excellent pressure and plenty of hot water. Plentiful towels and toiletries available. The location is roadside but the units are set back off the road so it is quiet. I would stay again if in the area.

We stayed for two nights, on the last leg of our journey home, as we wanted to visit Splash Planet. BONUS. It is just around the corner. First impressions at head office was wonderful. I always think it's the people who make a place, and they were all most friendly and helpful, wishing a good time at Splash Planet and even asking how it all went. This personal touch is always welcomed. The rooms were very spacious, so great for families, with the added bonus of a little court yard, which gives even more space. Very clean and tidy. Extra pillows and blankets.Good selection of tea and coffee etc and bathroom essentials. Nice and quite. Yes, the bathroom was a tad dated, however functional and presented well. But as mentioned in below comments, they are new owners doing a great job with renos. So keep it up! Love the feel and vibe of the art deco rooms. Good spaces for kids to run about. BBQ area. Pool was great with seating and umbrella. Close to shops and supermarket. Wonderful value for money. I highly recommend this place and wish the owners well. Thank you so much for our stay, we will be there again.

The host are so welcoming & friendly. Easy & fast check-in process. We booked studio spa room. In the beginning we only want to stay for a night and have a quick visit in Hasting & Napier. We love the stay so much that we decided to extend another night. The room are immaculate & spacious that u can move around comfortably. Beds are cosy. Well equipped kitchen. You can chill outside at the patio. A/c works well. They hv small swimming pool that was very nice to dip in on a hot Hawke’s Bay summer day. The surrounding pretty quiet eventho the location is on the main road but u get less noise. Worth the money. Highly recommend to stay here. Thank you!

This was a great lodge type accommodation in a perfect location. We used the onsite parking. It was walking distance from a discount grocery store, and if you go another 500 feet, you get to a proper grocery store. The kitchen had everything we need and we actually made dinner in both nights, having purchased local wines. It's a short walk to restaurants and "town". We had a Superior Studio - Upper Floor, which I highly recommend. We had a balcony overlooking the beach where we sat each morning and evening. Just a quick hop across the street to walk on the beach.

Right opposite the sea. Easy walk into Napier centre. Napier is just gorgeous with all the are deco buildings and the care they have given to making the sea frontage beautiful. Coloured fountains at night etc. Motel well appointed. Welcoming staff. Clean and very comfortable room. Great shower. Enough mugs, plates etc. Bed very good and a balcony to look at the sea. Although on the road to town, hardly any cars came through at night so peaceful. Off road parking. Would recommend.

We’ve stayed at The Edgewater for 5 years now for the HawkesBay marathon. It’s always a great choice for us! Consistently clean, tidy, and well priced. Suits us well with a good location to walk to restaurants and opposite the playground and waterfront for nice walks. It has everything you need to be comfortable. Lovely views, friendly staff. Will happily book here again and again.

Spacious studio with good sized bathroom and partial sea view. Clean and thoughtfully furnished, and reception staff very friendly. Fast internet speed and huge Smart TV for entertainment. Location is great as easy walk into the city, shops, restaurants, and opposite the ocean. My studio is absolutely perfect for single or a couple but not for children. My only negative is lack of wardrobe and storage space. Just a very narrow cupboard with an ironing board and iron in it. Apart from this, I thoroughly enjoyed my 7 night stay and would return again.

Such a lovely welcome. Lady at reception was very friendly, accommodating, and gave us an upgrade for free, as I had booked the wrong room! Really well appointed, clean, great views straight out to Napier waterfront. Parking was straight outside. On-site restaurant had yummy food. Would definitely stay here again

Picked a room with a spa bath was lovely and clean. Great little apartment with a nice view of the sea. Bed was super comfortable. Relaxing and nice to see it has been done up inside.

Welcoming and friendly reception on check in and check out, clean rooms and bathroom, easy onsite parking, great views and big spa bath. This is our second stay and we'll be back again for sure!

Great location. A newly renovated kitchen. The room had essential dishes, a refrigerator, and a microwave. A balcony with a sea view. Clean rooms and daily housekeeping. A new wardrobe, but not very functional. It had only two hangers and one shelf. An inconvenient wall-mounted shower. However, the renovated kitchen area and new furniture in the living room left a very pleasant impression of the hotel.

Location opposite the beach and close to town was excellent. We paid a little more for a beach front view and the decking was spacious-nice place to have breakfast (coffee cart right opposite across the road!)

I liked that our apartment was very spacious for my family of 4. it was warm and cozy, beds were comfortable and I loved that you couldn’t really hear what was going on outside of the room apart from cars driving past which you hardly heard. the view of the beach was lovely too!

Breakfast is healthy 😋 The owner was so kind to send us to airport when we were unable to catch a cab or uber early morning. I will definitely stay here again next time I pass by this region

We had a great stay at Beechwood villa. The property is ideally located for walking into town and the rooms are lovely, beautifully decorated and spacious. It's a very quiet area, and parking was no problem. Breakfast was delicious and delivered unobtrusively each morning.

We stayed at Porters Boutique Hotel for a couple of nights to explore and visit the greater Napier area. The room and bathroom was spacious, in a modern yet comfy way, was kept well maintained, clean and had a small balcony. We used the covered basement parking, which has an elevator access directly to the room floors. As the hotel is in the middle of North Havelock, there are various coffee places just across the street for breakfast as well as restaurants to eat lunch or dinner, e.g., adjacent to the hotel. Although the hotel is in the centre of the village, it was quiet at night, and we had the french doors to the balcoby open, i.e., did not have to use the AC. We very much enjoyed our stay at this property and can recommend it very much.

such a beautiful modern boutique hotel. upmarket with outstanding customer service. receptionist Chris was very welcoming along with the bar staff (who make amazing cocktails). highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return. perfect location in the heart of town. above a great modern restaurant was a bonus!

Had a wonderful stay at Porters - lovely room, king size bed, with everything you need, and a small private balcony. Perfect part of town, so close to everything, undercover parking included. We found the staff to be absolutely top notch, so welcoming and happy to do absolutely anything to make your stay as good as possible. In particular, we'd like to compliment Christopher, who was so helpful and kind. On the nights we were there, the restaurant wasn't open for breakfast, so we were given vouchers to Maina nearby and it serves about the best breakfast you could find anywhere! Basically, this is a great hotel, they're doing everything right.

This was our favorite hotel on our travels in New Zealand. We had a king room that was large & comfortable. It was on the 1st floor with a balcony. Very good lighting in the room & in the bathroom. The bathroom had 2 sinks & an open shower. There was a guest laundry fairly close to our room which we used. Breakfast was included in our reservation. It was not served in the hotel restaurant. It was at the Malo Restaurant about a block away. The food was very good. Restaurant was busy in the mornings so we went right when it opened.

This central Havelock North accommodation can only be described as a mix of luxury and comfort. The super king sized bed was super comfortable and selections of pillows just wonderful. Lovely wine bar and restaurant next door which we recommend. Unfortunately we had a room without a balcony but that’s the only change we would make next time. The air conditioning was the best we have ever experienced. Highly recommended.

For a motel, this was better appointed than most hotels I have stayed at! They have thought of everything. Dressing gowns, plenty of towels, soaps, shampoo and conditioner, Nespresso coffee machine, mints, Sky TV with plenty of channels, and a very reasonably priced breakfast menu. The rooms were clean, tidy, well furnished and to a very high standard. The host Fay was very welcoming, friendly and engaging. Perfectly located within easy walking distance to shops, a supermarket and plenty of bars and restaurants (but still removed enough to have peace and quiet during the evening hours). I don't travel this way often, but I definitely know where I am staying next time I am in the area.

We arrived after attending the athletics in Hastings for the day. I sent a note with our expected arrival time to the motel. My note was answered immediately with a lovely note of welcome. The greeting was fabulous, sincere and warm when we arrived for our stay for next three nights. The room was absolutely spotless, very well set out and comfortable. It was a large second floor room with a superb spa bath and a separate well-equipped bathroom. The kitchen area was well equipped with all the necessities required for meal preparation. They large bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioner kept the temperature at a nice level. The motel was very close to the shops and the supermarket. There were enough carparks for each room to have a carpark space. The room was cleaned each day and left even more spotless (if that was possible). We loved our stay and will stay again without hesitation. We were also able to walk into the many restaurants nearby in Havelock for dinner (2) and breakfast.

Save Time, stop searching - all you need is here. It was lovely for my mum and I to be greeted so warmly and shown to our room by Fay on arrival, she also had some excellent recommendations for dining which was awesome given our tired brains and hunger. Hotel was immaculately clean and had virtually everything you could possibly need including dressing gowns, plenty of towels, soaps, bodywash, shampoo and conditioner, Nespresso coffee machine, mints, cookies, Sky TV, decent hairdryer, electric blankets and efficient heating. The extras were not of the generic cheap variety either, decent mostly NZ-made toiletries, teas & plunger coffee. These were also fully replenished the following day. Fully equipped kitchen with modern crockery and utensils. The shower had incredible pressure, we didn't try the spa bath. I slept in a single bed, it was comfy. Easy walking distance to shops, a supermarket and plenty of restaurants. New World was less than a 5-minute walk away. Would definitely stay here again.

Our Te Mata room was quiet and clean. Having the kitchenette was convenient, allowing us to cook some meals and save money on eating out. The room was always clean and the staff friendly and most helpful.

Excellent hosts, friendly and welcoming, she shared a few ideas, fresh milk! Not UHT. Lovely big spa bath in our room, great water pressure in the shower. Bathroom was well fitted out with hairdryer and make up mirror. Kitchenette also had everthing, coffee capsules and plunger. Comfortable bed.

Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay here very much. The unit was so clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen had all the cutlery and dinner ware we needed which was also a plus... Omg! The beds were so comfortable and just right for my back. Hubby totally enjoyed using the easy clean bbq very much(a weber) and hubby even commented saying we needed to buy a weber bbq ourselves. This 2bed room unit was just right for us all and we'll definitely be back again. The heated pool, Spa pool n games room were very clean and a major bonus to our stay and we definitely made the most of it during our stay at Asure Colonial Motel. Thank you so much to the management and staff team for having our rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels were always replaced and also cold milk and coffee and tea were also freely topped up when we were low too. This place is amazing to stay at so friendly and clean. This was our 3rd stay here and everytime we visit napier this is our number 1 choice. Staff are always so friendly and the cleanliness of the place is amazing. Being a cleaner myself I like things done properly and I know how hard work cleaning hotels is but everytime our rooms have been amazing and well worth our money for a great night's sleep.

The room: It had everything you need for 4 kids and 2 adults. It was immaculately clean. Provided towles for swimming plus for showering. Facilities: The park, pool and games room was easily accessible for our kids who were aged 8, 6, 4, and 1. The outdoor tables were perfect to watch them all play. Staff: Reception was very friendly and helpful. She gave us extra milk for the kids and suggested the RSA next door for a cheap dinner. Very bubbly and approachable. Overall, we loved our stay!!

THE top location in Napier and at the same time it is still very quiet. Despite the hotel being full, it was very quiet even inside the building and I could hardly hear any of the other guests. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and I enjoyed having the lovely and vibrant restaurant and bar in the same building. My room was very comfortable with a great shower and hot water within two seconds (not always a given in NZ...). A very nice touch which I appreciated was that a small carton of milk for tea or coffee was replaced every day. The parking lot is just one block away and there is a convenient loading zone just in front on the hotel entrance. All in all a very pleasant stay and I will happily come back to The Masonic anytime.

Stayed here for two nights for a work trip. I would definitely stay again, for work or leisure. The location is great - right at the heart of the town and on the seafront. We found plentiful parking nearby for our hire car though we had to move it about a bit to avoid the parking rangers. We didnt eat in the restaurant but it was busy both nights. We had a bar snack and drinks and they were good. The staff at the front desk are super friendly and helpful and the restaurant/bar staff were also very nice. The hotel is a very wee bit dated in the public areas but it has tonnes of character and architectural features, is clearly being invested in and is very well looked after. The room was really nicely decorated in a contemporary, nice way. Bathroom is petite but also great. We had a door out onto the upstairs patio area. The tea/coffee facilities in the room were generous and included a small milk in the fridge - 10/10 for that! And all other amenities in the room too. This is a great characterful non-chain hotel and is very charming. For the money, I think it is really good value. Note that they don't do breakfast but there are several very nice cafes nearby that do good options - literally across the street - so it's no big deal. Also, check out Monicas Love, a cool little laneway bar just up the road. We loved it.

So you are going to Napier, probably for the Art Deco or the wine and most probably for both. So why not stay in the most fabulous Art Deco hotel in the best position in town? Many of the original features have been retained - from front entrance to furniture - the place is one fabulous example of Art Deco at its most exuberant. The room was lovely. Comfy bed and spotlessly clean and kept sparkly each day by the friendly housekeeping staff. Front of house staff were also friendly and efficient. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. We ate in the restaurant, the food was excellent and service friendly. Pretty much the perfect hotel!

The rooms were comfortable, the staff were friendly and we really enjoyed the focus on celebrating the heritage of the building, while accommodating modern comforts (I.e., good Air Con, Good WiFi, clean bathrooms and a very comfortable bed) would happily stay here again, and the restaurant downstairs was very nice and the service staff very attentive.

Art Deco style hotel lived up to our expectations. The location was perfect for visiting Napier. The bed was very comfortable. The recently renovated bathroom was good. We had drinks at the bar that could have been a hundred years ago, from the decor perspective. Great service, lots of dinner and breakfast options nearby. We ate dinner at Rasoi, a couple blocks away, which is the best Indian food that we've ever had. The selection, taste, and variety of dishes was amazing.

The motel was located near the harbour and they weren't lying about the sea views! The shorefront is only a few steps away and if you walk a little further down there is a lookout where apparently you can sometimes see little penguins. The room was great, very spacious. The bathroom was separate and so was one of the bedrooms, the double bed was in the main room which also had the kitchenette, dining table and sofa. I was particularly impressed that the kitchenette had a full sized oven with stovetop, although we didn't need to use it as we only stayed one night, it would be great for a longer stay as you could cook full meals. I also loved the jacuzzi bath, it was great to use to relax after a busy day of walking around Napier and the attached shower also worked great. There were plenty of towels provided as well as toiletries (soap and shampoo). The beds were comfy, they had heated blankets too which was great as we visited in winter - there was also a radiator and separate heater. There were tea and instant coffee provided as well as milk in the kitchenette. Tip: the motel don't like curry or fish being cooked in the kitchenette and will fine you if you do - I noticed the sign in the kitchenette when we stayed.

We had a wonderful time staying at this motel. It was perfect for families – very welcoming and comfortable. One of the best features was the in-room kitchen, which made it super convenient for meals, especially with kids. The room was clean, spacious, and had an amazing view from the balcony that we really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend it for anyone traveling with family!

Beachfront accommodation at a very reasonable price, this property did not disappoint, it was spacious, comfortable with the best views from both the bedroom & lounge. Decent good quality tissues & toilet paper, Sky in both lounge & bedroom, toiletries, plunger coffee (all the little things most places do not offer any more) even a full size fridge/freezer which would be handy if staying longer. And next door across a carpark is Mixed, what a great find this was, a fresh looking cocktail bar with a great selection of drinks & food, just a short stroll from the accom.

The location was perfect for us. Looking out to the boardwalk and beach but also very quiet. The room was very clean and had a separate bedroom, we'll appointed kitchen, glass slider out to two loungers. The tv had so many channels, my husband was happy. There were so many restaurants nearby to suit all needs and a short walk to the marina to watch the boats come in and out. Bbq areas and tables at the beach, which is a great beach for swimming and play areas for children. It really was a super location and accommodation and we will definitely stay again.

Location was great, walking distance for dinners and morning coffee, the beach view was beautiful and relaxing, The room was very spacious, clean, tidy and had everything that we needed! Additionally, the price was the lowest nightly rate of all our hotels during this holiday.

Central city location was excellent for wandering, shopping, meals and visiting the theatre. Not far to the beach too, but the usual NZ beach, not that good (surf, but lots of black pebbles). The apartment was spacious, modern and comfortable - we would happily stay here again, there is much more of Napier to enjoy (great wineries), needed more than our two days.

Apartment was spacious with everything we wanted. The balcony was large and provided an excellent place to sit in the sun and/or to have breakfast. Even the shower had a view! It is an old building that has been renovated (was a bank) and so had character. Availability of undercover car parking was also convenient. Location also close to a number of restaurants and tourist facilities so didn't need the car once we got these.

Quest was a fun hotel. Our family of three had an apartment with a separate bedroom, a bed in the living room area, a well-stocked kitchenette and a sitting area. The bedroom had sliding panels to close for privacy. The owners did a good job of embracing an historic building but updating for modern conveniences. The original wood floors were used in the apartment. The property has a library for guest use. The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is well-located near the beach, restaurants and shops. I would definitely recommend this property!

We stayed one night in a King Studio apartment. Quest Napier is quite central and the streets and parking were very busy when we arrived. We had booked parking under the hotel for the night which was a good thing. There are free carparks next door and across the road but only after 6pm and for some of the weekend. Our arrival was a bit early but they were able to find us a room that was ready so we could settle in. The lady at reception was great and showed me where to go for the parking and explained everything. The room was a little dated but has been renovated so was fine. It was functional with a comfortable bed, and had everything we needed, including a kitchenette and a pod coffee machine. My only issue was the shower which has a curtain, not ideal because it blows in on you and the floor still got quite wet. The shower did have excellent pressure tho and we were more than happy with one night staying in this apartment.

Excellent location, facilities, and staff. Modern facilities (albeit could do with the odd bit of maintenance) with a good shower, kitchenette, and comfy bed. AC, quiet, and opening window was a bonus for fresh air. Limited underground paid parking—but plenty of parking next to the building (also paid but not undercover). Within a short walking distance to supermarket, eateries & chain takeaways.

There is something for everyone! Barrista made coffee on site being served on site from 7am to 5pm at their cafe. (Everybody knows, coffee is life) A restaurant that was well priced. It served a buffet breakfast, a continental breakfast, and dinner, too. A giant jumping pillow, playground, games rooms, TV room, and best of all, a heated pool!

The accommodation was beyond our expectations and we considered it to be the best value for money accommodation during our three week visit to the north Island of New Zealand! We stayed in a ground floor unit for two nights and then a motel unit the next night as we had decided to extend our stay by an extra day. Both were two bedroom, quite roomy, clean, comfortable and well presented. As we required a self-contained unit/room, everything we needed was provided and worked well. The bed was comfortable, both units came with a big screen tv, with cable channels. The facility itself is in a very nice and in quiet setting, with a good size pool, restaurant and other activity options. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay and should we return to the area for another holiday, we will certainly be returning to the Kennedy Park Resort.

We stayed for 2 nights in Villa Room 107 as a group of 3 adults, and everything was excellent. The villa was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The resort has great facilities and a relaxed atmosphere—perfect for both families and groups of friends. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The location is also convenient, close to Napier’s main attractions. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!

WE did not actually know about the breakfast until it was too late but on checking the menu the breakfast sounded wonderful. If we travelled to the Hawkes Bay again we would definitely stay there. Exceptionally well appointed, carefully planned and prepared unit - very clean. A lot of thought has obviously gone into making this as comfortable a stay as possible for guests. For our needs, the motel was a 5min drive to the track. Our room was super clean, tidy, comfortable & cosy, it had everything we needed...compared to another motel we've stayed at, Omahu is by far the cleanest. The owners were lovely, helpful & were very kind, they went above & beyond & even did our washing for us as the washing room was occupied to house other guests belongings. We really appreciated this. We had two different rooms, only because we loved the hotel and Napier so much we booked an extra night. The first night we were in a room on the third floor (standard room). It was very comfortable, the only draw back being that you A/C we pre-set the 2nd night we were on the 6th floor - this room had mini bar, dressing gowns etc and you could control the air conditioning. The views from both room looked over the beach. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and the small table and chairs are positioned so you could look out over the beach. The breakfast was good, we had one dinner in the restaurant and again it was good. The drinks were a reasonable priced. Directly across from the hotel are swimming pools and we spent a lovely afternoon there. The location is central to enable you to explore Napier and the art deco wonders. We would return to this hotel and are planning to on our next trip to New Zealand.

Our stay at this hotel was exceptional. We had a high floor ocean view room which was very nice. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. The hotel is right along the ocean (across street) in the Art Deco district. Its proximity made for easy access to this area which had loads of shops and restaurants. The dinner and breakfast we ate in Napier were both very delicious. We did have a nightcap at the hotel bar and it was a good place to relax. Parking was free and ample.

Friendly staff form teh reception staff to the restaurant and the housekeeping. They were all so helpful and friendly. Great location and views. Beds were very comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was great. This was our second stay here and just like the first time we have no complaints. During our last visit we had one King Room. This time we had a suite and loved the extra room and the kitchenette made the stay that much easier.

Could not fault a thing !!!!! The staff were so helpful a from check in to check out, all so friendly also. My room was warm and immaculately clean. So close to town, beach and restaurants and bars. Buffet breakfast was top notch also. Will be my go to place now for my monthly stay in Napier for work.

We have stayed here before and love this place, Its in a central location not far from everything. Good for Business people and the like. The owners are the best, friendly and welcoming, after booking in shown to your room and we asked for a spa room. Always very clean and huge amount of space, ample room to walk around things without bumping into anything. Makes so much difference when carrying luggage. Its got electric blankets, a kitchenette, spa bath ideal for a couple, place for your suitcase to open at a good height, it's got a large bathroom with shower and a small heater on the wall with an added electric heater in room. Like I said the place is fresh just been painted as we could smell a faint paint smell, its spotlessly clean and we will almost definitely be coming back here again in the future. We had an upstairs room so no good for disabled with a wheelchair but downstairs is idea. Heaps of parking, The only thing I can be sure to point out is be very careful when entering in your car as the cars tend to move quickly and you can drive straight past missing the entrance.

Spacious, clean and tidy, room was cleaned daily and staff were welcoming and friendly. The complimentary shower products were awesome and smell devine! The spa was perfect and hot water always available (very large tubs). Love coming here whenever visiting friends and family in the area.

A very spacious unit with a luxurious feel. Large spa bath; massive bed; new heat pump/air conditioner; lovely bathroom and kitchen. Because it was back from the road, traffic noise wasn’t an issue. Friendly helpful service even getting us a portable clothes rack to dry some wet towels we had. Only thing that could improve the unit would be an extraction fan in the bathroom but we just open all the windows. All in all a wonderful stay which exceeded our expectations and for an amazing rate!

We were originally booked into a basic cabin, but on arrival I asked if they had any on the sea front and luckily we were able to move to a self contained cabin (201) on the sea front. Absolutely worth the extra for the location within the parks location. This cabin had been recently upgraded and was spot on for what we needed. Well equipped kitchen, eating area, simple but practical bathroom, large comfortable double and three bunk beds. Woke up each day, pulled the curtains back to stunning views across the beach and bay. Easy beach access (no swimming) - literally 20m from the patio door. See photos. Would recommend - we loved it. Other info - 10-15 mins to Napier. 5 mins to nearest petrol station. Cafe on site does all sorts and was good quality. Hope this helps.

Stayed in one of the motel units at Napier TOP 10 and it was great super clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The room had a kitchenette, nice bathroom, and a comfy bed. It felt quiet and private, with a little outdoor space looking out the ocean.

our room was on the top floor beachfront view accessible by lift. it was warm inviting and smelt beautiful the view was perfect. bug comfy beds 2 king size. there was a bed sofa in the main room. definitely sound proof. great location walks to cafes bars shops. the beach straight opposite. big windows range sliding doors.

The location on the beachfront was perfect for a nice walk at night and in the morning with lovely coffee shops and bars. The room was massive with the beds being really comfortable. We only stayed 1 night but was perfect for what we needed and if we ever visit again we will definitely stay here again.

It's a beautiful location. We were up on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view of the beach from our room. We love how we can park in the underground parking. The cinema is only a walk away. The pizzarie and cafe is just downstairs. Beach across the road. Can have a coffee on the balcony in the morning watching people walking, jogging, on scooters on walkway by the beach.

The Navigate Seaside Hotel is very well situated in the heart of Ahuriri, we had a lovely view of the sea and surrounding hills of Napier. I stayed here for a week each in September and October 2024. On our first visit, we used the hotel as a space to get ready for a wedding, including makeup and preparation for the bride. I had informed the hotel about this and requested a connecting suite and a regular room in advance and the hotel delivered exactly as promised. The second time, we booked two regular rooms and again requested adjoining rooms, which we received without issue. The staff here are exceptional, friendly, professional, and consistently helpful across all departments from the front desk, room service, restaurant, and even the kitchen. For Napier, this is an excellent hotel. Don’t expect the full suite of five-star luxury amenities or a big-city metro experience as this is a true four-star property, and it delivers wonderfully within that standard. The rooms are comfortable, the beds and bathrooms are great, the Smart TVs work well, and everything was consistently clean and well-maintained. Secure basement parking is available too if you drive, for a fee and its perfect. Across both stays I didn’t have a single complaint! I wouldn’t hesitate to return!

Everything was amazing! The location is super central but still quiet enough for a good night's sleep. All the staff provided excellent service, and the rooms were spotless and beautifully presented. Breakfast was a standout — the chef went out of their way to cook fresh items for us when something ran out, making sure we didn’t miss out and that everything stayed fresh and delicious.

Nice hotel, lovely room! We did mention to the front desk staff that the towel rack was loose and the bathroom sink tap was not appropriate size for the sink. Definitely too short and when you washed your hands water went everywhere besides in the sink. The hotel bar did not have a liquor licence so we were unble to enjoy that. And the restaurant was only for breakfast so we couldn't use the 20 percent off food and beverage credit for being VIP. We had breakfast included in our room because that was the price point room we reserved. We would stay again if the bar is open and restaurant served food other than breakfast.

The suite I had was really big and was brand new, spotless and had a coffee maker etc. the staff really make it here, they are all warm, friendly and happy to help with anything, the breakfast was also fantastic with a great range of buffet and the choice of a cooked option as well, the eggs Benedict was delicious. The gym has cardio equipment and a weights rack and it's a two minute walk from the beach. I would definately stay here again if I was in the area.

We had an excellent stay. Swiss is a new, modern and spacious building with convenient parking in the basement. Room was nice, clean … and equally spacious. Staffceas friendly and flexible. We used the shared washing machine and dryer, it worked fine. Maybe only two `negative` things to mention … the tap in the bathroom was just able to reach over the sink, hence some water spill on the table top, and the breakfast was a bit `flat`. However, these are minor issues and only mentioned by spoiled guests 😊

The receptionist is lovely. She was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Our room was on the 3rd floor. It was lovely and spacious with a pretty view of the gardens on Civic Square.. The balcony was perfect for afternoon drinks and our morning coffee. The king-sized bed was very comfy. Right in town, we were able to walk to shops & café's which was handy. There is plenty of parking on the street and we could keep an eye on our vehicle from our room. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall, I was very pleased with the property! It's basic, but clean, up-to-date, well-maintained and safe. My room was very spacious. The check-in is "remote" (the front desk is staffed for only a few hours each day), but the process was very simple - the hotel sent very clear instructions and provided a mobile # in case I ran into any problems (which I didn't). The property is close to a wide choice of restaurants and shops, about a 7 minute walk from the waterfront, and best of all (for me) ... about a 3 minute walk to the intercity bus stop. Highly recommended if you don't care about "luxury" and just want a safe, clean place to sleep.

The property is central so you can walk everywhere. My room was lovely - very clean they had put the heating on so it was lovely and warm . There was a lovely tea/ coffee selection using a good brand of tea. Shortbread biscuit which my daughter claimed when she came to visit . Loved the toiletries. They had many lovely touches .even the toilet paper was folded to a point and a special embossing stamp used to hold it in place .milk was put in the fridge everyday . This is my second time staying here and I will definately be back . The reception lady is an absolute delight .Extremely friendly and welcoming . On my last visit my daughter had given me flowers - she noticed and got a vase for us to use .She is a real gem 💕 I will definately stay here in further visits to Napier as I loved everything about it . The beds are amazing !!! The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in . An absolute wonderful place to stay . Recommend ++++

I highly recommend staying here it is exceptional. The whole place was so clean and tidy and such amazing value for an affordable price. I love the little extras that were free of charge such as hair dryer and straightener. The spa was very relaxing too. The internet can be a bit costly if you're visiting from overseas, but i was pleasently surprised that it includes 2GB per day per device. You can purchase extra data — 10GB per day for $5, or 50GB to use over 7 days for $25 — which was very handy when working remotely. Our grandson had a wonderful time swimming, and the playground was a big hit as well. We’ll definitely book again for future stays. Laundry rooms $6 to wash, $6 to dry(bring $2 coins), a shared kitchen, and a dining area with a TV are available. Our cabin was well-equipped with its own kitchen, bathroom, lounge, and two bedrooms 1 queen bed, 3 singles — very comfortable and family-friendly. 10/10 from my family. Thanks Top10

The view from our room & at breakfast overlooked the ocean from the town centre all the way to Cape Kidnappers. They offered their bikes which was awesome to ride the coastal pathway & the town centre to view the architecture. We would highly recommend this property if you are staying in Napier.

Mike and Maree (plus Dougal) were wonderful hosts! Our room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. Sitting on the balcony in the early evening was so relaxing and peaceful. Mike recommmended watching the the sunrise from our balcony was an absolute bonus. The location of the BnB was ideal for walking into the city centre. The continential breakfast was very inviting! Mike and Maree are magnificent hosts that will go above and beyond to accommodate their guests. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable & the breakfast superb! The view from the balcony is wonderful; we really enjoyed watching the sunrise from the bed. The wi-fi connection is strong and we even watched a couple of movies using Mike & Maree's streaming service subscription. We also loved Dougal, Mike & Maree's adorable, incredibly well-behaved dog. Room was large, clean and very comfortable, with great views of the sea. Good location, very close to town, although a little hilly so drove in rather than walked. Margot is an amazing host, was very welcoming and really looked after us. Lots of breakfast options and the complimentary bottle of wine is a very nice touch and was much appreciated. Napier is an amazing art deco town and a great place to stay for 2-3 nights.

Fabulous open plan layout at the top of family home; amazing view from balcony, very clean and tidy, delightful decoration. Massive TV with Netflix, which was handy (along with complimentary wine!) as we encountered a cyclone one evening. Breakfast was amazing, with hosts on hand for local information and great conversation. Friendly dog!

Janine and Ryan just the best hosts you could hope for, right from booking to check out, the service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. Friendly farm animals - Al the pig ate all our scraps and there's apple-loving alpacas, cows and sheep! Pet friendly - bringing our fur-babies was such a bonus. This place has a gorgeous rural feel, but a walk to the village - we simply didn't want to leave. Certainly will be back - Janine and Ryan, thank you so much for everything.

Great property set on quiet rural grounds. Very clean. Great for kids. Close to shops and restaurants. We are a family of 4 with 2 young kids who loved the pool, the animals and the toys/playground. We didn't feel like we had to be out sightseeing all the time as the kids were largely entertained at the accommodation. It was nice and safe so we didn't feel the need to supervise them at all times either. So it was lovely and relaxing for Mum and Dad! The hosts were lovely and very accommodating too.

We stayed in a one bedroom unit and we enjoyed our stay. Comfy bed, spa is a bonus and working perfectly well. The shower has great pressure. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Overall, it's very clean and well maintained accommodation. We wished we had stayed longer. The Motel is closer to all the shops, restaurants, café and takeaway places. I recommend this place to anyone who's looking for a place to stay in Hastings.

It’s a short drive from the town center but there is no hassle of trying to park your car or dealing with the noises of the city. The breakfast provided was a great bonus also. We had an excellent stay at Quality Inn Napier! From check-in to check-out, everything went smoothly. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome right away. Our room was spacious, clean, and tidy, with two comfortable queen beds. It was also very quiet, which gave us a restful and uninterrupted sleep each night. They kindly provided a portable double hot plate upon request, which was perfect for preparing our own meals. The toilet and bathroom were spotless—another big plus. The location is also a standout—convenient and walkable to Marine Parade, which made exploring Napier easy and enjoyable. Parking was spacious and felt very safe, adding to the peace of mind during our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended!

Loved the location on the Marine Parade. Central, walking distance to supermarket, shops,cafes and restaurants. The sea view, from the balcony was lovely. The hotel services were very helpful and friendly. The room was average, good sunblock curtains. King size bed but very uncomfortable, could feel the inner springs in the mattress. Had a spa bath, with overhead shower. The taps and temperature tricky at 1st. But climbing in and out of the bath required holding the rail careful foot placement.

Booked 2 rooms, both were clean and comfy, had everything we needed, short walk right into the CBD, gelato, ice cream, coffee & beach across the road also a playground close by. Staff were very inviting and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Exceeded expectations. Helpful staff fixed some minor issues for me on check-in, the shower water pressure was excellent & the shower head was adjustable if you prefer a softer shower. The spa bath was huge and comfortable. The bed was wonderful! Pillows were lush as well. My room had a proper fridge/freezer rather than a useless little one and the water filter in the kitchenette was greatly appreciated. Perfect location too as you're a 3min walk to a supermarket, takeaways and a pool.

The accommodation is very quiet, the stairs and hallways are carpeted which reduces noise considerably, and the low-key decor is inspirational. I think it’s the best value for money I’ve seen during my NZ tour.

Ruthie, the Proprietress and the cleaning staff were all very warm, welcoming & friendly!!! Every room was a private room! The Vintage Art Deco Bldg, though old & is in working progress, was interiorly beautiful for each private room that I saw during cleaning. Love the spacious common areas - kitchen, lounge, breakfast & dining rooms. Perfectly situated!!! Lots of refrigerators & cabinets to stow away groceries. Daily cleaning always! But the best part, Ruthie bakes fresh bread/scones for breakfast, which is an amazing treat!!!

We stayed there for two nights - very satisfied with the room and service. Although it is close to a major intersection and the highway, we didn't hear any traffic - it was very quiet in general. Only 5-10 minute drive away from the city centre, and if you don't feel like driving into town for dinner, you can always dine in or have takeaway from Bistro or Pak Asian Kitchen on site. We had pork ribs and chicken fillet with chips and salad one night, which was beautiful! They were generous potion-wise too. Our room was clean and had comfortable armchairs. Air conditioning was a bonus, but since the room was well-insulated, we didn't have to use it for too long. The king-sized bed was comfortable. We parked our car just outside our room, which was handy. We would happily stay again if we visit Napier again in the future.

Room was a standalone so was private, clean, aircom/heater worked well, everything you need in the room, small fridge, microwave, fresh towels and flannel then the complimentary toiletries, coffee making things, was perfect for my random overnight stay. Big room as well. Also the girls that attended to the reception whilst being waitresses were awesome, kind and helpful 😌

The balcony is not a bonus - it was dirty on the concrete floor part, the seats were small, metal (cold) and had bird crap on them. If advertised as part of the booking, this area should be cleaned. The bed was very comfortable and king size as stated. The room was fit for purpose - a short, relaxing stay. The bathroom was a good size, clean and the shower had good pressure. The towels are small, off-white and thin - for a hotel, I expected better. Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar etc. The car park was free, secure in a locked space with plenty of room. The heating was good - easy to adjust to our liking. The walls are thin - could hear the neighbours. Being on the beach side of the building not always a plus - got woken up in the middle of the night by a very loud singer parked in the beach car park (not hotel's fault so have not rated down because of this - just saying). Would stay again - hopefully they update their towels!

The Albatross had a twin room unit that suited our needs during the busy part of the summer season in the Hawke's Bay. The room was fresh, clean and welcoming. Excellent Wi-Fi speed! The shower was good with good pressure. We would certainly stay at the Albatross again. The BayView hotel just down the road was perfect for a walk for a very nice meal and a large selection of both local and national craft beers. Great garden bar to enjoy a lovely summers evening. Or I'm sure a cracking fire in the cooler months.

Fantastic motel, clean and super friendly to cater for our family - had a cot, highchair and milk waiting for us arriving. Special mention to the friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. Location is slightly out of town, however there are lots of walks nearby and also a few bars and restaurants within walking distance in the marina. Also worth noting the great fish and chip place around the corner in Charles Street (1 minute walk).

Thank you for the upgraded room. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the view of the sunset from the balcony was beautiful. I liked that they are under new management.

I recently stayed at Albatross motel and had a fantastic experience! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also great, with easy access to nearby attractions and dining options.

Lovely stay. Rooms were clean and tidy. Beds were comfortable. Friendly receptionist. Missed out on the pool we only stayed the one night. Beach right across the road when we wanted some fresh air. We would definitely stay here again when we go back.

This is fantastic option for exploring Napier. It is affordable, beautiful, comfortable, and clean! Everything you could ask for. It’s a quick drive to the town center or the harbor or the beach. The host is very friendly and has great suggestions - we enjoyed his restaurant recommendation. The room is extra spacious and the beds are super comfortable - perfect for our family of four.

However, the only downside is the lock for the sliding door to the balcony, the lock was broken & the toilet/bathroom is old style and when you flush the toilet you have to push the button hard on the wall. Also, the housekeeping didnt really clean the jacuzzi properly as there was a lot of sands and dirty as well that's why we had to rinse it before we use. Apart from that, excellent King Size bed, a nice big jacuzzi, a good heat pump, a big lounge & a nice view from the top floor!

Situated in walking distance to shops the sea side and attractions very convenient. We stayed in a king suite upstairs with balcony facing the city The room had everything to make it comfortable, clean linen, cooking facilities, tea/coffee,TV & wifi. The bonus was the in room spa bath big enough for two. Cleanliness could have been a little better - dusty blinds and surfaces nothing major. All n all adorable comfortable accommation, would stay again.

The staff is always welcoming and helpful, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. They have unbeatable views and locations, walkable cafes, and places to eat and drink. It is the best value for money. I am reluctant to recommend it highly because I want to keep staying here.

We stayed here for two nights in a first floor room with a beach view. The room was spacious and had a nice little balcony overlooking the esplanade and beach. We didn't use the in-room spa but it looked good. The motel is a short walk from the town centre and a good selection of cafes and restaurants. The decor was a little dated but everything worked. The motel was not servicing the rooms daily due to staff shortages when we stayed but this didn't cause us any problems.

Really enjoyed our two night stay in Napier. The motel was exactly as we imagined. Great views fromour balcony and the luxury of a spa bath. The shower room was lovely and kitchen area had a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and electric non stick pan and crockery and cutlery. Bed really Comfortable as was the w seater sofa. Could have done with a chest of drawers or more shelves in the cupboard. Also need to be patient as they are suffering the same problem of staff shortages as the rest of the hospitality industry, worldwide. Our receptionist, however, remain cool, calm and was always smiling, despite the difficult job she had.

The rooms were very clean and the size of the room was perfect for us, our room had a sea view which was beautiful. The shower pressure was awsome and our kids had a great time. Receptionist/Manager was amazing and very helpful, we checked in late and we missed the laundry Matt. She helped us out and sorted our washing out for us. She was very friendly.

Have stayed here for over a week now in an executive studio unit. The unit is clean and comfy has a huge king bed a folder out couch and a single bed very spacious unit has a small kitchen with stove top only and microwave which is all I've needed. The spa tub in my bathroom is the best everrrr I don't even have to leave the comfort of my unit I can simply relax and indulge in the spa bath great location right across the road from the beach close to a few pubs and cafes nothing but a short brisk walk will do to get you in amongst some really good places. Love it the staff are pleasant and kind and the housekeeping girls are courteous and respectful and professional. I recommend staying here 😊

Friendly reception, eco-friendly (body wash and shampoo were in refillable dispensers and milk in a small refillable bottle). Very comfortable and clean. Great shower. Walking distance to the beach, great restaurants and CBD. Guests are mainly people on business.

The good thing about the Bella Vista chain is that you can expect a certain standard of accommodation, and professional managers/owners. Bella Vista Napier is in a good location, central to shops etc but not on busy main road. Very well run motel, friendly and helpful managers/owners who provided an upstairs unit, as requested. Impressed by ceiling fan and air conditioning options. Just a couple of corners (shower area) and the door between bathroom and main room that need extra cleaning attention (splashes of some sort?)...Otherwise, obviously lots of attention to detail and effort put into cleaning, and yes, I'm fussy. Tips: book direct with Bella Vista to get best rate (either online through their site or phone), and support them, rather overseas booking agencies/companies. Go for Superior studio or larger if you can, more spacious than compact studio. Have found compact studio okay for one night if you're just looking for a bed and don't mind a cosy room.

Hotel was clean and comfortable and updated. Free parking. Wifi was not good - very slow. Hotel is close to Marine Parade. Walkable to shops, restaurants and waterfront. Room was perfect for 2; would have been a bit small for more than 2.

A friendly reception and given a choice of units was a good start. Whilst the unit was small and the furniture well used, it was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. (The name "Bella Vista" was a bit of a stretch, affording views of Noel Leeming and the RSA from the front, though maybe upstairs back units had a view of the sea. But you wouldn't mark it down for that, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay)

I simply needed a conveniently located place to stay for one night while in Napier on business and I found it at Ace High. It was fairly priced, easy to find and to park, the room (and more importantly the bed) was comfortable, it was clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful. It has everything you need and nothing you don't. I would stay again.

Westshore is a clean, well run, excellent value holiday park near Napier. Close to the beach and many good amenities, I found the host very welcoming and helpful and I would definately look at staying there again if back in Napier.

It was in a very nice, convenient location. Although we didn’t see the staff, they were very friendly over the phone.They also provided 50c coins for the showers in our envelope with the keys which was incredibly kind and convenient for us.

Warm open sunny. Grounds well kept and clean. Nice private room with all that was needed for my stay. Staff friendly and helpful.

The staff were amazing and accommodating to assist in changing rooms. They were friendly and helpful with local info. Both ladies an asset to the park.
