I would comeback again to this hotel. It is extremely nice and great condition. The air feels so fresh and nice inside during August month. The staff is wonderful and helpful. I love their breakfast buffet they have and taste wonderful. Everyday I ate different foods. Coffee and hot chocolate offer everyday. My bedroom was awesome and great condition. Everything look new and clean. I’m glad I got 30 inch tv and small refrigerator. The bed felt super comfortable and clean sheets. The air conditioning work perfect. I really do highly recommend to anybody to stay over. They do have two fooseball, variety board game, game outside, and other game.

Very safe, quiet and clean hotel! It is fun and modern and has tea, hot chocolate and coffee available 24/7. The market is great and breakfast is a really good selection! Room is modern and comfortable! Highly recommend!

Only stayed 1 night but had dinner @ the restaurant in the same lot(TBones) pretty good bar n grill. My room was spacious n clean,I liked the supplied toiletries. The view from our room showed nice foliage. Breakfast had a lot of options (continental) overall a nice stay. The staff was very helpful in helping us plan out our route north to Vermont.

Excellent hotel - super clean, comfortable bed. Soap dispensers are brilliant! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Small room but perfect for us! HUGE television!! Breakfast included - and coffee and tea bar 24/7 was a nice added touch when we checked in late.

It’s hard for me to believe this hotel had gotten negative reviews because we loved everything about it from start to finish! Check-in experience was great, very friendly and helpful staff. Upon checking in they have a cute complimentary iced coffee bar with several coffee flavor pumps as well as flavored water. The room was excellent: we stayed in a king suite and it had everything we needed. The jetted tub was awesome, the bed was comfy, room was exceptionally clean and sitting area was cozy. The indoor pool was a huge hit for my 5 year old, and it was very clean and fun. There is a Pirate’s Cove mini golf course on site which we thoroughly enjoyed (though it does cost extra, just so guests are aware) too. The breakfast in the morning was simple yet tasty, with plenty of options for everyone and a cute waffle bar with plain or red velvet flavored batter as well as all the toppings for Belgian waffles. We would 150% stay here again, total cost for us was $300 for a busy Friday night in the middle of peak season (July) which we felt was appropriate given the number of amenities included as well as the hospitality shown to us by the facility. We can’t wait to come back, hopefully this fall to see the foliage! :)

Weekend away. Clean, comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet with many options each morning. Coffee/tea and cookies available all afternoon. Saturday evening there was a fun cereal bar set up in the lobby. Bed was comfortable. Only concern we had was A/C unit was a bit loud and rattling. Such a perfect location for walking to restaurants/shops. Mini golf on property was closed due to season.

Convenient location, clean hotel, room was nice, bed was comfortable, 5 pillows on the bed definitely a plus, very quiet at night as we had a good night's sleep, breakfast was excellent as we had lots to chose from, coffee delicious, liked the apple cider at night along with apples and tootsie rolls. Now for my dislikes: upon check in, the clerk should of told us what time breakfast was and the bathtub had a slope. Thank goodness there was a bath bar to grab onto, just saying. Overall, nice visit...

Hotel was very clean with lots of little extras - cookies daily at the front desk, movie night for the kids every evening with complimentary popcorn and a cereal bar set up with lots of kid favorites, milk & lemon water. Tic-tac-toe & checkers boards outside to enjoy. Pool was clean, great for the kids, with more than adequate open hours unlike other places. Breakfast was very good, multiple options for our family needs, including “picky eaters”. The room was spacious with quite comfortable beds. Location was optimal for a host of activities, restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. Front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. There were even umbrellas available at the entrance for guest use on the last day of our stay to avoid getting wet moving the car to pack up. A 10 plus experience

This property is fabulous. The suites are clean, spacious and very well equipped. Tea /coffee machine, fridge and microwave. Well stocked. Rooms are very comfortable, beds super comfy. Choice of pillows 😍. Facilities are all very good, free breakfast, pool, laundry (only $2 for a wash and same for dry, ample time to dry everything). Staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous. It is very well situated, plenty of shops, places to eat and drink all within walking distance. Have mini golf after April. Skiing all within half an hours drive. Cant wait to stay again.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful, and they're available 24/7. The room was clean and spacious. Great hot breakfast buffet. Coffee and hot water/tea was available 24/7 in the lobby as well as a small coffee machine in the room. Comfortable bed. Overall a wonderful stay.

A downtown delight! We had a pleasant one night stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown Portsmouth. From the moment we pulled up and met our valet Sammie to our check out, we had a wonderful overall experience. Sammie answered our questions as this was our first time staying here. There is valet only parking. Normal fee is $40/day, but we were fortunate to score and stay & park deal. Tim W was kind at check-in and when we returned to the front desk for additional towels. The room was spacious, beds comfortable and a roomy bathroom with fluffy towels. Small closet and plenty of drawer storage. Everything was clean. Morning breakfast had many choices and everything was tasty. Fitness center was a nice size with a good variety of equipment. Location made our trip downtown easy with close walkable proximity to everything. Views weren’t much to speak of, and like so many places, lots of new buildings going up, so the construction site views were a little disappointing (but this doesn’t detract from our actual hotel stay; just a note for anyone traveling in the near future). We were sorry our stay was only one night, but look forward to staying here again in the future.

The breakfast options were tasty, fresh and plentiful. Arguably the best continental breakfast we've ever had. The location was central to plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and if you're traveling for a concert at the music hall, you can't pick a better hotel. It was a 4 minute walk!! The staff was friendly and efficient, the rooms were sparkling clean and the entire hotel felt brand new

We have stayed in this hotel twice and are coming back in early September for another visit. We love this hotel! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The rooms are very spacious, clean and modern. The location is great. We love walking to bars, restaurants and shops. We also love walking across the street to another famous brand hotel's rooftop bar.

Hotel is in a great location! Perfect walking distance to nearby restaurants and shopping. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Had excellent interactions with the valet, check-in and breakfast staff. Hotel bar was closed during our stay, but we were given a voucher for $15 off at a neighboring roof top hotel bar. Overall lovely stay while driving through Portsmouth.

Very friendly staff and easy check in. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was quiet and clean. The only thing I wouldn’t give 5 stars is breakfast. We went to breakfast at 8:30 and many items were gone and not restocked. Breakfast was suppose to be served until 10, so disappointing to see such a limited amount of items. The kids were fine with cereal but would have enjoyed some eggs or something hot. Otherwise everything else was great.

The room was modern, quiet and very clean. It had outlets and usb ports that were accessible on the night stands for your devices. A nice size television (larger than most hotels) and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The complementary breakfast was pretty good and their hours for the breakfast are longer than most hotels. Their location is prime because it’s just off the main road so you don’t get all the traffic noise, but it’s still very close to the outlets for shopping and several restaurants.

Multi-generational GIRLS weekend in New Hampshire. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, easy check in, clean facility, comfortable beds. Even the pull out was good enough for Grammy! The free breakfast was just right, if they don't have it, just ask, and you might get it. Pool and outdoor picnic space were perfect for our needs. Microwave and mini fridge in the room, great for keeping leftovers, or for your happy hour and midnight snack supplies.

We chose this hotel for the location - very convenient, close to Franconia, Kancamagus, Betty & Barney Hill marker etc... Also within walkable distance of several amenities & restaurants in Lincoln - 7-Eleven, Dunkin's & McDonalds are across a couple of parking lots, and La Vista is a minute-drive away (would have been walkable if it wasn't raining). This hotel is very new and quite compact. The breakfast area is right in the lobby when walking in. I have a feeling it would be drafty in the winter. We had a basic king room on the 4th floor and it was super quiet. The room itself was on the smaller side, but had everything you need including a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and a very nice, brand-new 55in smart TV that was extremely easy to use. We could use our phones as a remote for the TV through the Hilton honors app, which worked *very* well - I travel with my boyfriend whose main criteria for a hotel room are good AC, fast wifi and a good, newer model TV (all things I don't care about at all, haha) - and he certainly got what he wanted here. Overall, we had a good stay here. As mentioned breakfast is included, and there is also a coffee station in the lobby, but we did not utilize them at all, since there were better options very close by. We would come back when in Lincoln, mainly because of the very convenient location!

This is a nice hotel, modern, clean, and safe. Our room had a king-sized bed, a big flat-screen TV with numerous channels, a coffee maker, a microwave oven, and a refrigerator. Plenty of towels and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The pool was very nice, and the exercise room had more equipment than you'd ever need. The best surprise was the included buffet breakfast: delicious eggs, sausage patties, home-fried Yukon Gold potatoes, juices, cereals, make-your-own-waffles with lots of different condiments . . plus bagels, toast, pastries, and more. The staff was polite and friendly. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a great hotel! It’s in a great location. There are many restaurants and shops in walking distance. You’re surrounded by mountains. It’s clean! The staff was wonderful! Especially the young man that was there on Sat and Sun night, then Mon and Tues morning. He was so friendly and helpful with any questions or recommendations we had. I believe I also spoke with the manager after she was done her shift. She took the time to talk to me and give me recommendations for the area. She never made me feel like I was bothering her. Every staff member I encountered here was great! The lady working the breakfast area was also warm and welcoming. The room was nice and clean. Loved the whole set up. It looks like this is a newer location. When we come back to Lincoln I will definitely stay here again!

Right downtown, brand new hotel. Room was spacious, clean, and well thought out. Great shower, comfortable beds. Nice big TV with all the channels. Staff was amazing. We brought our dog, and although we felt the fee was a little high, we will definitely be happy to pay it again, because we had such a great stay. We are vegan and didn't find many options at breakfast but it looked like a very nice spread! Plenty of hot food options - a little beyond just a simple continental. The lobby had some nice hanging out areas and there were also some patio tables outside. Overall we had a perfect stay and look forward to coming back.

Very nice a cozy place, was able to check in a little bit earlier. Staf was very friendly, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and everything was made and served fresh.

An honest review! Very happy. We have traveled A LOT in the past two years. This place is clean, has a very good breakfast (which changes a bit daily) Recently renovated. The rooms and hallways are clean. The staff is friendly. An indoor pool and a nice clean fitness center with cardio/kettlebells/bands and even wipes to clean the machines (a rarity). I like to take the stairs and many hotels don't bother to keep them clean, but they are here. Rooms are a decent size. It's quiet at night-no highway noises. There are not restaurants within walking distance, but several within a mile in each direction including the dog friendly (on the patio) Backyard Brewery. Airport transportation is available. Very affordable, especially if you book an extended stay (5-7 days).The dog fee is $100 per stay.

The room was as pictured and very clean. Everything was in working order. The location was beautiful and very close to the airport. The bed was so comfortable, firm, but like sleeping on a pillow. We especially liked the breakfast buffet which included fresh fruit, all sorts of breads, cereal, coffee, juice, as well as hot items such as scrambled eggs and a meat, and a do it yourself waffle maker. There was an attendant who continually replenished the items and kept everything clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for a better place to stay.

This was a very good but not superb SpringHill Suites. Pros: Extremely close to airport, easy when flying in and out. Comfortable (but not overly large) room, with good shower and decent hot breakfast. Cons: The property seems a bit old and tired. While generally clean it didn’t come off as being a state of the art SpringHill Suites. But it met my needs at a decent price. To be superb it would have had to be almost new, more modern shower and have a more comfortable couch. I ate dinner in my room one night and could either eat at the coffee table (too low) or at the desk (and thus unable to see the television). But again, it was very good.

The room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast selection pleased everyone. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The family used the indoor pool that also walks out to a patio deck.

We had a great stay here. Yes, the hotel needs some updating and some repairs. But the harsh reviews were quite unfair. We found beds to be extremely comfortable-I have serious sleep issues and had the best sleeps I've had in months. Large TV's made it easy to watch from the sofa or the bed. The shower was wonderful. Breakfast was typical hotel style-with occasional tweaks such as donuts, scones, waffles, omelets and protein changed every day. Staff were exceptional-a big shout out to Rachel who solved a potential, costly issue. Christina was always helpful in many ways. Ernesto kind and gracious. We stayed for eight nights and had no issues. The hotel was quiet and safe. A quick, free shuttle to airport is another plus. Truthfully, we couldn't have asked for anything more and highly recommend this hotel.

We liked absolutely everything about the entire facility. The room was clean and beautiful spacious they supplied us with absolutely everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful the staff was so kind and helpful even suggestion restaurants we would like in the area and things to do. The pool and area surrounding it was absolutely lovely the beautiful sunrise view from my room with spectacular we truly did not want to leave. And the cost I would have paid double

This hotel was excellent, the room was large and clean and smelled very nice. The lobby and dining area were also very clean and the breakfast was delicious, it had everything you could want and then some. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, there was plenty of parking, and the location was close to downtown with lots of restaurants.

The hotel was in a convenient location. We could access Portsmouth, a short ride away, and the cost of lodging was considerably more affordable. The complimentary breakfast was good. It was consistently refilled and on both days offered scrambled eggs, cheese, salsa and plenty of delicious bacon. For fresh fruit, there were bananas available - not over ripe, as well as yogurt and milk in portable containers. A thoughtful consideration was supplying paper plates and plastic ware in the microwave. The placement of the TV was weird. It sort of faced the seating area and was accessible to one bed. I am used to having the TV facing both beds...just something to be aware of. One problem we faced was having only one chair in the room with four people. Whatever were they thinking? Beds were comfortable, room was clean, shower pressure was good. A good place to stay.

This Marriott hotel is conveniently located off Route 95 South of Portsmouth. I’m a light sleeper and didn’t find traffic from the highway to be disturbing. The all-suite rooms featured at Spring Hills always offer a nice amount of space. Fridge, microwave and mini bar/counter area was nice. We didn’t notice a room safe. Shower pressure and heat good. Friendly staff, complimentary breakfast, clean and updated exercise room. We did have an issue the first night with the room temp and the manager addressed it right away. It was fixed upon our return that afternoon, but when we addressed it, they reassured us if they couldn’t repair it, they would relocate us. Would stay again.

An overall great experience! We booked a handicap room with an adjoining room and we were surprised at how spacious both rooms were! My wheelchair fit and I could easily access everything, and the shower was good too. My only suggestion would be to have another bar in the shower, but it worked. Rooms were clean, breakfast was good and the attendant was awesome! Pool was good, a little to cold for me, but the kids enjoyed it for a bit, couldn't stay in to long b/c it was chilly! But overall a great place to go! Front desk was always pleasant!

An excellent job of renovating an older hotel…modern, clean, & very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great with “real” scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, crispy bacon & sausage. Our breakfast “chef” did a great job & was very friendly/helpful.

Everything was absolutely perfect! Rooms were very clean and comfortable, pool was great, fitness center was perfect and breakfast was great. The gentleman who serviced the breakfast station was extremely friendly and is a great asset to the hotel.

Clean, comfortable, and staff was friendly and attentive. I was extremely impressed with the gentleman attending to the complementary breakfast on 12/28/24. He assisted guests and constantly checked the quantity of remaining food or cleaned tables as they became available. I have never encountered someone so attentive at a hotel free breakfast.

The Best Western Plymouth White Mountains is really a motel, but with some additional features like an indoor games room, an indoor heated swimming pool and a sauna!! Access by car was easy, being located just off the Interstate. Reception was easy and helpful. Our room was good (overlooking the swimming pool) and was comfortable. Breakfast was standard hot American buffet - perfectly acceptable. There is no restaurant in the motel and limited restaurant choices immediately nearby - we drove to nearby Plymouth to eat in a local grille bar - a very good meal in pleasant surroundings. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation at Campton for the one night.

Staff was so friendly and everything was clean and comfortable. The free breakfast had so many options! I had chocolate chip pancakes with fruit and a coffee. The lounge area was also very comfortable to read in.

We had a great stay. We are a family of four: two 40 year olds, an 8 year old and a 5 year old. I give it 4 stars for what it is/what we were expecting - affordable, family friendly and clean. We stayed one night for a trip to Story Land. Loved the free breakfast and wifi. There is a fun pool area with slides that was a big hit for the kids. We went after Story Land on day one and they had a blast and then we got take-out pizza from Flatbreads. In the morning, the kids wanted to go to the pool after breakfast, before we went back to Story Land. The selling point was the room set-up - we got a one bedroom suite at an affordable price. The kids slept on the pull out couch and had their own TV and we could stay up later in our bedroom. There was also a kitchenette and fridge. The staff were very nice. It’s not the Ritz - the room had a few dings and could have been repainted, but it was clean. We heard little kids running around above us in the early AM but it was quiet at night. For a family like us, it was all we needed!

Every year my sister and I travel to North Conway to shop and have some sister fun. This is our first time staying here and we were not disappointed. Our room was ready early, room was super clean, beds comfortable and the breakfast served was delicious. Barb was super friendly offering us her favorite restaurants! Thanks for a memorable trip, we’ll be back!

This was a great place to stay after going up the Cog Railway. Although we didn't use the pool area, it was very clean and the slides would be fun. It was very quiet, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Staff upon entering and departing were very friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Plenty of shopping nearby for those avid shoppers

It's always a relief that the hotel you chose in an area you have never been turns out to be great. Super clean with comfortable beds and a friendly front desk welcome. There was an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi, but we did not use it. This is an easy choice if you are going to be in the area.

So the other reviews no clue what was going on with them perfect for me. The lady at check in around 7 pm jan 27 2023 was wonderful. Kind professional explained everything and sounded natural. The room is very big , clean and bed super comfy and the oillows. Yes there is some black mold on the ceiling on the bathroom that should be looked at. Shower was hot and good pressure. Hotel was quiet. Breakfast in the morning was good and staff member was there refilling stuff. Lady at checkout in the morning very friendly and professional . Watched her deal with a problem and she did a great job. The pool was normal temperature and the hot tub hot. The only thing was the jets were very weak. Everything no was great. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We stay at this property whenever we visit family in the Nashua area. The property is very convenient for visiting, shopping, finding restaurants, etc. The people in the reception area and the breakfast area are very polite, friendly and exceptionally helpful in answering any questions we have. The breakfast area is spacious and open. The breakfast menus on our two days there were great for our tastes. The rooms are large and convenient for parties of three or four. We will be back in November.

We LOVED the salt water swimming pool and hot tub. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location was very convenient and reasonably quiet. The staff all around were very welcoming and helpful.

Sadly, the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the way Hampton operates, and not always for the better. You can still count on attentive staff and comfortable beds, but now are paying more for a less service. Pre-pandemic, our room would have been serviced each day of our six-night stay, not just after our departure. Housekeeping staff were helpful, providing fresh towels, etc. on request. I emptied the waste baskets each day and left them outside the door for pickup. Although Hilton professes to be green, the rooms do not contain a waste basket for recyclables, so all of our empty water bottles wound up in the regular trash. I always looked forward to fresh fruit at breakfast - no more. I resorted to loading oatmeal with raisins and cranberries to get some fruit. And, the bargain rates are no more - our six-night stay averaged $186/night including taxes and fees.

I went with my partner and honestly we had the best time here. The location is great in Claremont- easy to find parking. Parking was right in front of the hotel and free. There weren't too many spots in the front so not sure where the parking would be if those are full however we had no trouble ever finding parking. We didn't explore the town however we did hike mt. Ascutney and explored the area. The room was very clean and comfortable. The check in and staff were all very friendly. In the lobby there at little things you can buy if interested, some local goods. Also there is clare the cat who is very friendly! Even stayed in our room with me for about an hour. The gym and the hot tub are clean and comfortable to use. For food we went to the common man restaurant which we recommend! The food was reasonably priced and delicious. Breakfast was simple but great. Its self serve with Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches (love), muffins which were really great, and when we were there french toast. Also coffee, juice, yogurt, and fruits. Overall we love our stay here and next time we are in the area plan to stay here again!

Common Man Inn was a charming place to stay. The staff were very friendly. Especially Katherine! The rooms were very clean and we appreciated the eco-friendly touches. We had dinner on the restaurant patio bith nights. The food was excellent and the views of the river/waterfalls were very relaxing. Service was slow but worth the wait. We especially loved the Inn kitty :)

It was a perfect mix of lodge meets eclectic, with comfy beds and plenty to do. The windows in our suite were stunning and we had the river as a built in sound machine each night. Our little one loved the in house kitty, Clare, though I’m not sure it was a shared sentiment, ha! We took the kiddos on an adventure to see the river and there was a cute park nearby, plus a coffee shop right across the street & of course the Common Man restaurant downstairs with so many options - though heads up, you cannot get a glass of wine there & carry it back to your room! The morning continental breakfast had a handful of options, but being dairy & soy free due to allergies, we were able to find a cereal & almond milk, which was appreciated.

Value for the price! Exceptional clerks, staff and the Inn Kitty. In-site restaurant was phenomenal and the breakfast had everything we needed! Ambiance was a treat, the bed amazing and the touches of homemade soap, lotion and a full coffee pot unexpected! Even the bath matt and package of q-tips made me happy. Love the games, salt & pepper shaker chess board in the lobby and a book to read in the room. Truly beautiful setting of the river/dam behind the property, patio and outdoor seating. While it wasn’t extremely expensive, it was above our preference but completely worth it!! I wish we’d have taken advantage of the hot tub room, but were stuffed from the extraordinary dinner, we couldn’t fathom any more movement, lol.

My family and I stay here whenever visiting my inlaws. It is a reliable Inn. Always a fun and relaxing experience. There is a small workout room. Used the hot tub for the first time which was clean with some music piped in which you could choose to have turned off. There is a free breakfast of muffins, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, cereal, coffee, etc. The Inn has a cat that lives there. I am allergic to cats but the inn is kept clean so I am never bothered by her presence and she is sweet.

Food was great, beds comfortable and place was clean. Kids loved pool and hubby loved jacuzzi

We did not have high expectations, so were very pleasantly surprised by our stay. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot and with good pressure. The breakfast was definitely better than the usual hotel breakfast, with several options which were clearly freshly made. Also, the hotel is immediately adjacent to a rail trail, which is great if you like to go for a morning jog or walk. Finally, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Spent four nights here while visiting family in the area. Huge positives for a mid-range hotel.....clean and quiet room, a great bed, room darkening shades (sweet), fridge, microwave, and Keurig coffee maker in room made the in-room experience very nice. One of the few negative comments is that the hot water on the 3rd floor was not that hot....hot enough, but should have been hotter. The main common areas of the hotel were nice also.....great working area with computer and printer, Wi-Fi, and the breakfast and coffee were both very good. The only minor negative here was a lack of a snack area where small items could be purchased. The staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Parking is a bit of a pain as there were construction trucks and folks everywhere, but the overflow lot was convenient. The positives outweighed the minor negatives mentioned above and a 5-star rating is deserved at the price point of the hotel. Would not hesitate to stay here the next time I am in the area.

This was one of the more modern Holiday Inn Express hotel’s I’ve stayed in, in recent times. My room was very large with lots of space and seemed to be re-designed recently with a very comfortable bed and a large TV with lots to choose from. The bathroom was bright with a walk in shower. The work desk in the room was a little small, but that just seems to the standard size in their hotel room design now. The entire hotel was spotless. Breakfast was of good standard and the fitness room was adequate for a couple of days while there was a pool if you wanted to unwind in the evening. Lots of free park and close to a number of restaurants and shops and convenient if working in the NH, MA or ME areas. The lady that checked me in on the first evening was lovely and couldn’t do enough to help me, but unfortunately the second evening the lady working on the front desk was rude and un-interested, I went down to ask for some bathroom supplies as the housekeeper had forgot to re-stock my room, which is no big deal, when I went down she was eating a takeaway with some other person and acted like I was disturbing her. However I will be back for a longer stay later in the year as overall this seems a well run and friendly hotel.

We had a spacious and nice room. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. We had a mini fridge and freezer with a coffee maker which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was amazing! Lots of great choices and everything was delicious.

This was my 1st B&B experience and it was wonderful! We spent 5 days at the Sutton House and Thais and her team were fabulous from the beginning. The Yellow Daffodil room was very clean and I appreciated the noise machine in case of outside noises. That was one concern of mine when considering a B&B, but we didn't need the noise machine at all. I appreciated the extra effort of wrapping each glass in plastic and having disposable items as COVID is still present. Each morning started with a delicious homecooked breakfast which began with a fresh fruit cup, baked good (muffin, bread etc.) and then the main course that varied from spinach quiche to pumpkin pancakes with pure maple syrup. It was all amazing. The 24/7 coffee/tea bar in the main room also had fresh baked cookies for guests. These little touches made it feel like Grandma's house. Then, there is Patty. Not only did she bake most of the delicacies but she was so entertaining and friendly. She made our stay extra special. She even packed us a little "to-go" bag of goodies and fresh coffee to take on our trip back home. Thais, Patty, Sally and Lynn sent us off with a group picture so we could remember our fabulous NH trip and the experience we had at Sutton House. We will be back very soon! ❤️

We went to the Inn for a relaxing overnight. We walked to the restaurant for dinner - in the rain - the Inn offered golf umbrellas which were perfect since the restaurant was across the street. Sally gave us a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The sunroom was perfect for breakfast and it was nice talking and getting to know the other guests. The owner told us the history of the Inn before breakfast while drinking delicous coffee and homemade cranberry scones. The room had more than everything you'll need to make your visit memorable. Such a gem with Lake Winnipesaukee right across the street. Can't wait to return

The Bed and Breakfast exceeded my expectations from the moment we pulled up. The parking was ample and easy to get in and out of the spot. We had a family suit on the top floor and it was very spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable and my only wish was that we were spending more than one night here. I was definitely recommend staying here as both a couple and a family. The breakfast the next morning was amazing and will fill you up. I cant say enough good things about the staff, they were attentive, nice and very knowledgeable about activities and things to do in the area. I would rate our stay a 10/10!

Spent 2 days on Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The staff was warm, friendly and very helpful. Homemade breakfast was awesome. Enjoyed the beautiful grounds, relaxing on the porch and swing, able to walk to town/ local dining. The owner let us borrow the parking pass so we could park our trailer at the local beach while we kayaked. ( we thought we might have been able to put in from the property from the pics online ) Would have liked to stay a couple more days if able. Only down sides were the noise from traffic/bikes/ walls little to be expected in an older place, and we thought we were getting lake/mountain views but because we booked through Expedia and not direct didn't get room w/ view we were expecting. Still overall, a great stay and would return. Good place, especially for the price.

The outside was well maintained. The breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly. The loxation was quiet and very close to the shops. The room was nice but the pillows and beds were hard. The first night when i went to the bathroom i slid off the toilet as the seat was not attached. Also, when taking a shower i noticed a fair amount of mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. The next day i informed them about the toilet seat but it was not fixed when we came back. The next day it was fixed but it cme loose again pretty quickley. We advised them upon check out. So if booking dont get room 118.

Stayed in the room with a hot tub. Used it everyday. The front desk person did ask to limit times to ten minutes and don’t use it late at night. Continental breakfast was decent with sausage, eggs and Belgian waffles as the hot food. Everything you’d find at a traditional Continental breakfast. The sign said 730, people were in there before 700. The first day I grabbed coffee at 645 then the following day I did the same. On that second day an employee walked in and was fairly forceful on telling me to get my coffee and go, they open at 700. The door was unlocked and I didn’t see the problem. The lights right outside our windows were pretty blinding even with the blackout curtains. Parking was convenient along with the placement of the pool with our room. Overall a terrific stay.

My kids and I stayed here on a snowy night. The staff was friendly and upgraded our room for free. The room was slightly dated but clean and huge. The bed was more comfortable than mine at home. By 6:30 am the snow had already been cleared from the parking lot. The complimentary breakfast was good, what you would expect at a hotel. We will consider this hotel first when we need a place to stay in the Mount Washington Valley.

We had a wonderful time during our weekend ski trip. The location was fantastic—peaceful and quiet—and the included breakfast was a great convenience. However, the HVAC system was a bit of a drawback, as it was difficult to find a comfortable temperature. Despite that, the overall experience was enjoyable. Also, there are lots of dining options.

I've stayed here a couple of times because my godmother lives in the area and I can visit with her and be close by (she doesn't have room for me to stay there). The hotel allows dogs, so traveling with my dog was easy. I haven't spent much time in the hotel when I've stayed here, since I've been visiting family during the day, but the rooms are spacious and clean, and the hotel seems well maintained. Staff is helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet is pretty standard for a hotel like this, with a bunch of options. Also the rooms have a small kitchenette for preparing your own food if you want. Hotel was quiet and comfortable at night. Fitness room was OK, but I found the bikes a little uncomfortable, for those who like to use the hotel gym when they travel. I also noticed a large laundry room, for people traveling who need to do laundry. Much bigger than a lot of hotels. Overall, a good place to stop.

Very comfortable stay for me and my dogs for 5 nights. Excellent breakfast options, very friendly staff, everything you really need for any kind of extended stay. I would stay again if in the area. It felt very easy and convenient, safe and quiet.

The check in staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms were clean and fresh. I liked having a kitchen, so we could cook some meals (although we didn't have an oven, which was too bad). The breakfast was decent, and the food staff made sure everything was replenished as needed. We liked that we could walk to a grocery store and several restaurants. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay. Rooms are clean and hotel is quiet. The front desk staff is helpful, kind, and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast was great and the staff members working were efficient and easy to work with. We would absolutely stay there again. We love the consistent quality of Marriott hotels.

I have not stayed in a Residence in for at least 30 years but this place really impressed me and I will be back!! We needed a dog friendly hotel and this was our first time to Portsmouth. We are Bonvoy Elite members and were able to use a free night award for one night and a reasonable amount of points for the second night. We got a one bedroom on the end which had everything we needed. It was clean, spacious and perfect for our trip. Everyone who worked here was so friendly from housekeeping to the front desk to valet..EVERYONE. The breakfast that was included in our rate was one of the best breakfasts I have ever seen that was complimentary!! We did eat out both days but managed to try a couple things..the mini spinach/cheese quiche and bacon were soooo good! And we love having coffee available all day to guests!! There are many coffee shops on every block, but being able to pop by the lobby for a fresh cup whenever I wanted was really appreciated. I have lots of allergies and even though our room was pet friendly it was so clean and I had no issues whatsoever. We loved the pet relief area on the side that we took our pup to several times. Everyone kept it clean because they had bags available for the pups. They have an indoor pool which looked nice although we did not use it. Portsmouth is a really great New England quaint city that is very walkable, clean and dog friendly. The Residence Inn is right in the heart of it all. We will be back!!

The Residence Inn Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront has come a long way. It is as close to perfect as it can be, The hotel is ideally located in downtown Portsmouth, close to everything. Rooms at the Residence Inn Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront are typical Residence Inn, spacious, functional, and comfortable, and in the case of this hotel, well maintained, clean, and quiet. The staff are kind and professional. Breakfast at the Residence Inn Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront is dramatically improved from years gone by, so much so, that it is unrecognizable from a few years ago. Absent a waffle iron, breakfast at the Residence Inn Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront, at present, is as perfect as it can be. The hotel is well maintained. The gym has a good compliment of equipment, and is well maintained. The Residence Inn Portsmouth Downtown/Waterfront is a well run, classic Marriott hotel.

Very nice clean Marriott with full kitchens, daily free breakfast and walkable to all the shopping. We have stayed here twice most recently for a road race. Each time it has been very nice. As loyal Marriott members you may think Residence Inn to be the lower of the Marriott portfolio but not the case here. Rooms are immaculately clean, they have free breakfast daily, a lovely courtyard with fire pit, lobby bar. Parking in the garage is pricey but you get a discount at $30 per day which is the goi g rate in downtown Portland. I would highly recommend! Try out Mesa Grande Taqueria across the street. Just opened in May 2024 and it’s amazing!!

This was our second time back to this hotel, and will return again. The hotel is super clean and modern, the staff are professional and friendly. The suites are a great deal with a kitchen and plenty of space. The location is right in downtown Portsmouth and is in a very walkable and safe area. We barely heard the hotel neighbors or outside street noise, very quiet inside the room. Can't say enough positive things about this hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and I love almost everything about it. It is safe and clean. The only thing that needs a DESPERATE (capital letters so they hear me) is their dismal breakfast. It was really bad! I know COVID changed everything to single serve, but that is over. Bring your cooks back, make scrambled eggs, hash browns and pancakes again. Everything was pre-packaged under fancy stainless steel chafing dishes. I ate a tiny Dannon yogurt with fixings. Please at least serve a full size tasty Siggis Greeek yogurt. The hotel is amazing! Parking was $40. I paid $365 for a 19 hour stay with a horrid breakfast. Real food would have made the difference.

Positives: very clean, very comfortable, modern and attractive, great location, lots of good parking, beautiful river view from our room, all staff friendly and helpful, free hot breakfast and coffee all day/night. Negatives: no free wifi; noisy cube fridge -- had to unplug it; bedside alarm was pre-set on 6am -- uggh!; footfalls above surprisingly loud; traffic sounds from outside surprisingly loud; breakfast foods all highly processed and plastic-tasting -- even the bacon?! bananas ran out.

This has become my new “go-to” hotel for my business stays in Manchester. The staff was friendly and helpful, the location is excellent with convenient access to highways and walkable to all downtown sites and restaurants. Parking is onsite and convenient and I always felt safe and secure in the hotel with the “key needed” set up to use the elevators. The building is modern, clean and well maintained! Excellent experience!

We stayed at this location as part of a 5-day trip in northeastern US. The hotel is modern, clean, and well maintained. It is conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the mattress was not comfortable. Both of us had trouble getting comfortable on it, which is puzzling because the hotel seems fairly new. The rest of the stay was very enjoyable.

The woman at the front desk was amazing! She was cheerful, friendly and very helpful!! This is my second stay at TRU, Manchester, NH and both times the service was impeccable. The rooms were very clean both times, the lobby was inviting, and the decor is light and fun throughout. I can't say enough good things about this location! I can't wait to stay again! It's top on my list of recommendations to friends and family for a great stay at a great price!

First time staying at a Tru by Hilton hotel. Was pleasantly surprised. Great experience all in all. Nice, clean, modern rooms. Lots of dining options around the area and their complimentary breakfast was very good with lots of seating options and clean area constantly maintained. Would definitely stay here again or at a Tru hotel if the need arises.

The hotel is ideally located for visits to Dartmouth College, Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, all all of the attractions of the Upper Valley. Lebanon Airport is 10 minutes away (serviced by Cape Air, from Boston Logan International Airport). The staff of the Residence Inn by Marriott Hanover Lebanon are warm, cordial, professional and efficient. The hotel is spotless! The gym is equally spotless and had a good array of equipment. The hotel is in a quiet, safe location. Breakfast is dramatically improved, and close to the once standard (Pre Covid 19 Pandemic) Residence Inn breakfast. The Residence Inn by Marriott Hanover Lebanon is a Top Choice in Lebanon, NH, and the Upper Valley.

I had never stayed in Residence Inn, and chose it because it is very near to Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital where a family member was having major surgery. I also chose it when I learned that Residence Inns are set up for longer stays with a kitchen in case I needed to stay there more than a couple days. I was impressed that the room is basically an efficiency apartment that would be larger and superior to many small apartments. Even comes with pots and pans and a dishwasher for the kitchen. The building a room is in excellent condition, very clean and very comfortable. The breakfast for the room was average for a motel, but nice to have real plates and silverware and not just disposable garbage. the staff was very friendly, and very helpful with breakfast. Walking distance to a decent restaurant and the Lebanon Food Co-Op is a bonus. Relatively quiet location, though the grey tree frogs where really singing loudly around the adjacent pond.

This hotel is fantastic—easily superior to others in the immediate area. As someone who has stayed here multiple times, often in the spacious two-room suite, I can confidently say it’s a perfect choice when visiting my Dartmouth student. The location is incredibly convenient, with a supermarket right next door. This makes it easy to pick up snacks and wine, which the suite is perfect for enjoying in the evening -comfortable, relaxing, and with all the amenities you’d need to feel at home. The complimentary buffet breakfast in the morning is a bonus, offering a nice variety of options to start the day. Everything about the hotel meets the standards you’d expect from Marriott. My top tip: BOOK EARLY! Rooms in the Dartmouth area fill up quickly, often months in advance of events, so securing your reservation ahead of time is a must. Go BIG GREEN.

This is a new version of a Residence Inn. Comfortable bed and pillows. Standard Residence Inn bathrooms. Very clean hotel. Great service across all personnel we interacted with from front desk to breakfast ladies to housekeeping. Room cleaning is every other day unless you request, so if you need more in-room coffee, ask the front desk. Breakfast is the standard Residence Inn fare and there is plenty of seating in separate areas. Totally quiet on a top (3rd floor) floor room and no road noise. Next to the hotel is a grocery store, excellent wine selection NH State liquor store and a really good restaurant. Lots of free parking with large spaces. Very good set of fitness equipment in the fitness room.

One of the nicest Residence Inns I’ve stayed in. Hotel looks brand new. Spacious room with all the expected Residence Inn amenities: great bed, full-size fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, big sectional couch, three additional chairs, small dining table, big desk, and a brand new 55” TV (the largest I’ve ever seen in a hotel). The free breakfast was superb with many choices (I had a delicious bacon, scrambled egg, and gouda cheese breakfast sandwich on a fresh and flaky croissant). Whole hotel is spotless, staff is friendly, an excellent value for the money. Is also basically the closest hotel to the main Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, in case you are visiting someone in the hospital. Would totally stay here again.

So much fun for a date night. Spent time at pool which was clean, had great towels and drink stand for beverages. Room was modern, clean, spacious and comfortable. Service amazing. Area was so fun, plenty of shops and restaurants. Live music in plaza our weekend. Overall, so fun!

Stayed at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights. The hotel is gorgeous. Great restaurant and a nice, bright coffee shop for breakfast and lunch. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the espresso machine in my room. Honestly this hotel is amazing and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else when I am in the area. Thank you for a great stay.

Great location. Easy to get to. Lots of shops and places to eat within walking distance. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We had four rooms that we requested on a high floor and the hotel put us all together on the top floor. The windows also opened which is a huge plus for us because we like the room cold to sleep in. The people at the front desk were kind, accommodating and respectful. There was a long wait for dinner at the restaurant but there were 7 of us and it was a friday night. So if you would like to go make sure to make reservations. The food was tasty but did take some time to come out. The bread was amazing.

Quiet and comfortable. Location was convenient. Pool and jacuzzi were awesome. Breakfast had excellent variety and all staff were very friendly. Afternoon cookies were delicious! We will definitely stay here again!

The hotel is clean, large rooms, the jacuzzi tub in the room was nice. The breakfast buffet each morning was also nice along with the cookies in the lobby every evening.

The overnight breakfast was delicious both days, and the staff we interacted with were extremely polite. The jacuzzi room we rented was also better than expected for the city this location is in.

Solid Courtyard hotel nothing fancy but very clean and great people. Indoor pool, A/C worked great, very comfortable bed, Lifetime Platinum Elite Member location was great restaurants are about a mile away but parking in the summer is extremely rough at the restaurants luckily I asked if the shuttle to take us to the downtown restaurants and they said of course!! We had Felishia(shuttle driver) take us and several others from the hotel to the downtown area for dinner dropping us all off at diffrent restaurants this is the way to go if you are staying here!! I must say Felisha is OUTSTANDING!!!! Had us cracking up on the trip down to the restaurants and the return trip I got to talk to her what a fantastic person and Courtyard she represented your hotel top notch!! Rarely does a single employee make such an impact!! Felisha did!! Well done Felisha from a Lifetime Platinum Member!!!

This hotel is one of the best we've visited, ever. The hotel is conveniently located, almost overlooking I-95 in Portsmouth, New Hampshire... but you'd never guess that from how quiet the hotel is. Everything in this hotel feels both modern and luxurious. We've stayed at this hotel several times, and it's easily one of our favorites anywhere in New England. Great value, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, comfy rooms that offer everything we'd like, and a location that's ideal whether you're on the road or vacationing at the Seacoast.

This place is so nice!! It's close to all kinds of big box stores and restaurants, but It's off the beaten path and it's so cozy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant actually had good food. The indoor pool was great. The rooms were very nice. Our bed was super comfortable. I really liked that we could Log into our streaming services on the TV. My family and I were super impressed with this hotel. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend

From the ease of check in to check out everything was excellent. Front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean and very comfortable. Bar/restaurant was clean and great food service. Extra shoutout to Morgan who was tending the Bistro on Mew Year’s eve. We will definitely be going back.

There is a Starbucks in the lobby. The breakfast menu was interesting and delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room was laid out to make good use of the space The pool and fitness center were both clean and fun to use. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was comfortable and clean loved the fact we had coffee Machine and refrig. The breakfast area was comfortable with lots of tables and the food was a good variety. The lady who served the breakfast was very friendly and was there to help with anything. We used the breakfast area to read our books in the afternoon. I left my jacket there, and someone was kind enough to give it to the front desk where I retrieved it.

This was the friendliest hotel -- every employee I interacted with (from the phone call earlier in the day to check in, out, staff) was warm, friendly, and made me feel happy to stay here. The check-in was super efficient which I appreciated. When I called with questions before check-in, the person was so helpful that I even remarked to my friend how refreshing it was to speak to someone who knew the answers right away and went above and beyond to be friendly, cheerful, pleasant. The room was spotless, quiet, had extensive breakfast choices (even down to the extras like almond milk in the fridge). I appreciated being able to help myself to a hot tea in a to-go cup at 8pm at night. When you travel, those little things really add up. Other perks are the larger than average fridge in the room, coffee station, plenty of soap/wash/lotion, room heated and cooled efficiently. I'm glad to discover this location and will absolutely stay here again (and would book for my team to stay here( when I am in this area for work.

We stayed here 1 night on our way somewhere else. Room very spacious with separate living area. Beds very comfortable and room seemed very clean. Pool area was nice and breakfast had many choices from eggs, saussage, biscuits with gravy, a few cereals, muffins, bread, bagels, cinnamon buns, a variety of yogurts and oatmeal as well as Granola bars, apples, bananas juices and coffee. There is a target, ahopping, and many restaurants about 5-10 minutes away. Would stay here again .

We were warmly greeted when we checked in and each morning. All staff were friendly and super helpful. The room was a good size, clean and quiet. A good breakfast each morning and tea/coffee available throughout the day, with a biscuit to dunk. They have a guest laundry, a gym, a swimming pool, and parking. There are different food options across the road and a supermarket. The location is perfect. We would highly recommend The Holiday Inn Merrimack.

Staff was very friendly. When the fridge in our first room wasn’t working, we were quickly moved to another room. Unfortunately, that fridge didn’t work either. (both ran but neither kept the fridge cold or even slightly cool.) Luckily there was ice on the 3rd floor at least. Breakfast was great as always. Large selection of hot and to go options. Bed was comfy. Towels were soft and actually did dry you off. Large dispensers in the shower for shampoo/conditioner/shower gel – products were good, but I hate the large dispensers. If you want to wash your hair outside the shower it’s a pain. Bring back the small containers! We did have a ¾ full lotion bottle …. No comment. One bad thing – hair in the shower drain. Used large wad of toilet paper to remove. We would stay here again.

I can’t say enough good things about this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable—they were friendly, helpful, and truly made us feel welcome. The pool and hot tub were both warm and impeccably clean, making for a perfect way to relax. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained. On top of that, the breakfast was absolutely amazing—delicious, fresh, and with plenty of options to start the day right. I would stay here 100 times over and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic experience. We will definitely be back!

Spacious, clean and comfortable. Great breakfast, pleasant people at the front desk, comfortable bed (mattress not too hard), plenty of space in the room, loved the ceiling fan above the bed, proximity to Margaritas. (There can be noise after the restaurant/bar closes on weekends. Request a room in the back of the hotel.)

We stayed with my oldest and some of her friends to celebrate her birthday. The room was bigger than expected, breakfast was amazing, and the kids had a blast in the pool!! The staff was kind and attentive; the ladies in the kitchen were especially sweet and friendly to our daughter and her friends-helping them with the waffle machine, asking questions about her birthday and if they were having fun, etc. I have never experienced such attentive staff during a hotel stay. Kudos to you, Homewood Suites!

Perfect hotel for a family stay. Staff is friendly, efficient and helpful. Rooms are getting a little tired abd could use a refresher - bathrub grout, room carpeting, sofa - but clean and spacious for a great multi-night stay with children. Pool was warm and inviting in the evening and on rainy days. Breakfast was well stocked. Thank you for a great stay!

Location & parking was easy. Check in was short & smooth. Room was EXCELLENT. Super clean & comfortable. Good water pressure. Pool was refreshing - Hot Tub was clean, full & hot with great jet pressure. Breakfast was your standard continental - but the fruit was fresh, pastries were soft. Staff was friendly every time. I would recommend anytime.

Stayed at the Residence Inn Portsmouth for a quick, one night stay using my Marriott Bonvoy Points. I did get an alert on my phone very early the day of my check-in (8AM) that my rooms was ready. Although my room was ready, I couldn't check in until later that evening. When I arrived, I was given my keys and provided some basic details about the hotel, breakfast hours, etc. The lobby does have complentary coffee, tea and hot choclate 24 hours a day. We arrived to our room and it was very clean. There was plenty of ice in the ice maker (which I always choose to dispose of and make new ice). Beds were comfortable. Shower was hot. We did eat dinner prior to our check-in. There isn't too much nearby and a car would be needed if you were going to explore the area. In the morning, breakfast was amazing. Fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and some sort of egg dish. There was two waffle makers for waffles, bagels, yogurt and so much more. The breakfast staff was on top of things making sure you had everything you needed. All in all a great stay!

I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Tucked away in a quiet area but across the street from stores and malls and only 8 minutes drive to downtown Portsmouth. The rooms have been completely renovated to match new RI builds, WIFI worked great, halls were clean and quiet and staff were super friendly and helpful. Pets welcome and there is a nice, though small, grill and sitting area outside. The ONLY downside is that on Saturday night, the neighboring Cisco Brewery has an extremely loud patio bar. It felt like an earthquake. It does quiet down by 10pm. If you can get past this it'll pleasantly surprise you.

This stay exceeded expectations by far. The room (a 2br suite) was spacious and well stocked. The breakfast was delicious and the location of the hotel was perfect. But what really knocked this place out of the park was the staff. Every single person we encountered, from the breakfast to housekeeping to the front desk…all were so friendly, happy and helpful. I wish we got everyone’s name so we could name them here but Kelly at the front desk was our first contact at the hotel and she was amazing. Highly recommend this hotel and looking forward to coming back again.

Greeted by a smiling staff, was exactly what was needed after a white knuckle icy drive up 95 from MA headed for a weekend of skiing in NH. She made us instantly feel at home. We, my wife, granddaughter, and myself are very familiar with the Marriott hotel chain, as we have been Gold and Platinum members for many years. This hotel is exceptional. This is not a new hotel, it went though renovations several years ago but looks absolutely brand new...our room was spotless! The entire hotel didn't seem to have a scuff mark on the floors, walls, carpets, anywhere. The cleaning and maintenance staff do a great job. In the morning the hot breakfast was more than adequate and the "food Lady" was delightful and provided a welcoming family friendly environment. Our 9yr old granddaughter spent a lot time in the pool...said it was nice and warm. Again, the pool area sparkled. We are planning on this hotel to be our weekend home, during this years ski season. The Hotel is excellent supported by an exceptional staff

The room was very comfortable, but we paid over $1,000 for 2 nights and at that rate there should not be issues. There were no luggage racks (even when we called down) so suitcases had to go on the floor. This was challenging for my elderly parents. There was no safety bar in the shower. Again, my mother uses a cane and there was nothing to hang on to in the shower. The pull out bed had inadequate bedding. There was no mattress pad and the blanket was sticky and strange and not sufficient. There was a lingering paint smell in the room. We would have liked to have some paper towels in the kitchen. We really needed a more substantial coffee table. There was no way to turn on the fireplace. Overall, we enjoyed the room and used the kitchen. If it weren't so expensive I would not have commented. But to charge over $500 a night - I would expect it to be perfect.

Nice quant small inn. Rugs in lobby need upgrading. Rooms are diverse themes. Was not aware when booking thru expedia, not asked for desired theme. Received a rustic themed one ( rm 100 with king bed), did not like it. Would have preferred a ocean themed one. Large room with lake facing balcony with 2 chairs and table. , no microwave in room, only supplied one set of towels per person, requested two, and was supplied. Jacuzzi placed in jammed , hard to enter position. No table supplied if was to have coffee or breakfast in the room. No safe in the rooms. Very helpful clerks at front desk. Delicious restaurant on site. Pool is a small soaking pool and locked and need to have someone open it and remove cover to use it. Decent continental brkfast. Fresh muffins, juice coffee, toast, bagels, danish and cereal, would have been excellant if provided some fruit also.

This was our first excursion to Lake Winnipesaukee and the surrounding area. I probably looked at around 20 different hotels/B & B's before deciding on the Lake Opechee Inn and Spa...And I made the right choice...This was the absolute BEST property to stay in the area! Coming from Rhode Island, we were initially a bit disappointed with the area around Laconia but after you head in the direction of Weir's Beach it all become nice indeed. Plus, you're only 48 minutes away from the White Mountains (Flume Gorge etc.). So, the Lake Opechee Inn is ideally strategically located to both tourist areas. We stayed in the deluxe room closest to the lake, and it was both spacious and clean. Some of the upsides included the whirlpool, comfortable bedding, nice chairs, a fireplace, and a deck with a view. The downsides (but not deal killers by any stretch) included no cleaning of our room (we had to get fresh towels etc. from the front desk), a smallish standup shower with no hand-held sprayer, small television (by today's standards), and a subpar breakfast. It's actually a pity that they don't offer a buffet in the adjoining restaurant because I would have happily paid the extra for a hot breakfast with eggs and bacon. Speaking of the restaurant...it's outstanding! The bartender was very helpful, and the food was delicious. Definitely, visit this more upscale restaurant at least one of your nights! Overall, I would definitely recommend the Lake Opechee Inn and Spa (9.5/10).
