The property is just incredible. The villa with the private pools are so nice, and the views are so worth it. We were there during wet season but we still had quite plenty of sun. Altho there is not A/C, there is a very good bed cooling system. Food portions are quite big and tasty so sharing is totally fine if you are not so starving :) Oh, and the coffee, the smell is already amazing.

Morgan’s Rock sits in a fantastic spot, right on a perfect beach you’ll likely have all for yourself (or almost) with sunsets guaranteed. We found the staff superb! Our bungalow was a piece of tranquil eco luxury in which we felt super comfortable. Food is great, clearly with Nicaraguan character, and at its best. You’ll see monkeys all around. We actually had a sloth sitting in the tree besides our bungalow. A stay is pricey but comes highly recommended if you are looking for tranquility in a high end eco setting.

Probably the best bedroom view we’ve ever had! The bungalows are very comfortable and private. The staff was fantastic - very welcoming, efficient and friendly. The whole Morgan’s Rock reserve is incredible and worth exploring.

Well this is a very rustic and alternative accomodation. The location is great if you are looking for great views, isolation and connecting to nature. The rooms are very interesting since they are practically open space helping you become one with the surrounding. The staff was very helpful, and everything organized by the hotel, from daily excursions to transfers across countries is completed perfectly . The beach and pool are beautiful locations to unwind and relax. Generally this is more of an experience rather than a hotel!

Great views! Very clean and modern. Eco lodge that offers a lot and lots of comfort! Staff was friendly and helpful. Even brought room service when I wasn’t feeling well. One of the most spectacular views of the sunset I have seen! The country is very safe but even if you were concerned this is sooo off the beaten track and self sustainable - I would go now while it’s still affordable.

fantastic property, at a reasonable driving distance from San Juan del sur, and near 2 beautiful beaches. has its own de facto private beach, which is amazing. super friendly staff, excellent restaurant. the setting is exceptional: my room was isolated in the hill, with a private pool and had incredible views in all directions. would definitely return.

Amazing views, nice private beach and not a lot of people which makes it relaxing. Getting to the place is a bit rough; need to drive around 10km of dirt road. I understand the eco thing going on but, very little privacy in the rooms and extremely noisy at night and in the morning due to the insects and birds. Staff is very friendly!

The property is simply massive and out in the jungle. The hotel is on its own private bay and the rooms have incredible views. The sunsets were epic. And the staff went above and beyond every day I was there with an amazing attitude and a smile. I am a spoiled and discerning traveler and I stay at a lot of Aman, Banyan Tree, Ritz Carlton’s etc. This is an ecolodge so you will find some things are a little different but after spending 7 days here with my wife I can really say I had a special experience at Morgan’s Rock. It’s a unique place that the owners care for with love and the desire to share it with others. There are monkeys, sloths and all kinds of amazing animals also. I never write reviews but in a world saturated with luxury Oceanside hotels my experience there was special and worth writing about. Definitely a place to relax.

Excellent balance of luxury and immersion in nature. Key things to know: stunning beach where we never saw more than 2 other guests, the cabanas are open to the wind and sounds of nature but the way they are secured with screens and sealed doors resulted in zero insect visitors (and the wind and cooling unit over the bed provided for a very comfortable temp), and there will be a need to traverse many steps throughout the day. Lastly, the views here are unlike anything we’ve experienced before. If you want a stunning tropical sunset then you can’t do better than Morgan’s Rock

Spacious, clean, modern and well equipped apartment. Communal areas and pool lovely spaces to chill. Amazing views of SJDS and the sunsets. Staff helpful and responsive, when our fridge broke down they moved us to another apartment, larger, with a private pool at no cost.

Highly recommended and definitely going back on my next trip to SJ. Hotel is near to the main beach town by car and the staff very welcoming and friendly. Ariel and Keila very attentive and helpful during our visit.

I recently stayed at this fantastic 2-bedroom apartment and couldn't be happier. Each bedroom had its own TV, and the common areas were air-conditioned. All appliances were new and in excellent condition. The view from the room was stunning, and the small pool was perfect for a refreshing dip. Overall, a comfortable and luxurious stay. Highly recommended!

This Hotel was perfect for my family of 4 with 2 small children. It was perfectly located close to everything but not too close where it can be noisy. It has a beautiful view of the city of San Juan del Sur with amazing sunsets!

From arrival to departure 100% first class five star service. Warm welcomes at every opportunity from amazing staff who stopped at nothing to make every moment of our stay perfect. Our ocean accommodations was breathtaking, housekeeping on point, superb variety of yoga classes and the grounds always well maintained. The views and water were heavenly! But overall, the staff here - wow is all I can say... never had such warm geniune service anywhere in the world. Some people may find the lack of wifi everywhere and long wait for food a constraint; however, we came to appreciate being disconnected and it made more time for conversations. It really allows you connect again with what is really important. Drinks: Overpriced and lacking quality single malt scotch; however, their tequila selection was brilliant and the best i've seen in nicaragua. That is me being picky because if you drink beer or cocktails you will have no worries. The beach bar was probably the worst I've come across. Could not get a beer or service my entire trip. The food was amazing and always fresh. A la carte, affordable, and different menu every day. The chef and cooks even went out of their way to make us something off the menu we requested for our good friend Rachell's birthday - probably the best gourmet homade hamburger we ever ate in our lives. Dear hamburger chains worldwide, you need to come to Yemaya and learn what a hamburger should taste like.

a really perfect exclusive place to enjoy all the luxury you could expect on such a remote island! we purely loved it here! We wanted to get a rest from backpacking with a 6 month old baby and our little girl enjoyed the calm, the big room, the warm shower and the excellent infinity pool very very much! By the way: so did we! the rooms are beautiful, spacious, clean, the meals are very good, the view and beach are spectacular! the king size beds right out on the beach are super cool. all in all, of you can afford the prices, it's worth every cent!

Despite a terrible weather and some bad experiences with Costena Airlines, Yemaya Reefs and its staff have done everything to make sure we had a good honeymoon stay in the Little Corn. Special thanks and kudos to Gordon who has managed our stay and who has gone all the ways to make sure we had a good time. The most professional and friendly concierge! The place is magical, it’s a little hide away with everything you need there. We went swimming and snorkeling just off the shore. We had very tasty meals at the restaurant and good cocktails. All the staff is so friendly and not imposing. I hope to be back there one day and wishing Yemaya Reefs all the success and the staff a very good New Year! Thank you for everything !

The rooms are excellent. The bathroom is an interesting indoor/outdoor hybrid. It is completely sheltered, but has a partial ceiling screen to the outside for fresh air. The bed was very comfortable. I had a patio with a nice ocean view. The restaurant food was excellent, as was my spa experience. While I loved it here, if you are looking for excitement, this is NOT the place for you. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing expereince in a beautiful location, this is the place!

Everything was perfect for our stay at Yemaya! The room was gorgeous and right on the beach! Carlos and Octavio were so kind and attentive, we felt right at home the entire time. The staff as a whole was so friendly and helpful. Every meal we had was delicious and great drinks as well! Will definitely be coming back here!

We wanted to choose a hotel with a pool and breakfast buffet. It was beautiful and had so many more amenities! The staff was friendly, professional and attentive. We had a friend with us from an outlying area in Nicaragua. It was a thrill to watch her enjoy her first buffet, learn how to use a treadmill in the fitness area, master the hotel room safe, swim in the pool and we even walked across the street for her first ever Chinese food! What a joy. Thanks for letting us have this beautiful experience at your facility!

I love their friendly staff overall, great breakfast menu variety and felt very secured. What I didn’t find convenient was the place where the plates were placed, since I have disability issues it was hard for me to go down and pick up the plates for the breakfast buffet. Kudos to Anielka that did a great job providing us with a great room service. Joan and David were very attentive and helpful in the dinning area.

Very nice US style hotel in Managua. Probably one of the nicest hotels in town and you pay corresponding US style rates but it was exactly what I needed. 6th floor room was nice and had a view of the lake. Clean, comfortable, good size with all the thoughtful amenities of modern hotel. Parking in front or back of hotel with 24x7 guard. Pretty good breakfast as well. Good wifi. Has a grab and go area with essentials and some drinks. Some OK restaurant options next door.

I highly recommend this hotel. The entire property is clean, and the staff-from the front desk, housekeeping and management are friendly, caring and professional. The breakfast buffet is great offering a variety of delicious options. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this property.

My stay at Hotel Globales Camino Real Managua was excellent. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. Check-in was fast and seamless, and the property itself is beautifully maintained, with lush gardens and a relaxing atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, quiet environment, and strong Wi-Fi connection — perfect for both rest and productivity. The hotel’s pool area and restaurant were definite highlights. The food was delicious, and the service was consistently friendly. I also felt very safe and appreciated the convenience of the hotel's location near the airport, which made travel easy and stress-free. Overall, it was a peaceful and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely return. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

The Camino Real Hotel, OMG, I loved it! We arrived late Saturday night, tired from our trip we had a restful night in a very clean two queen beds room, beds and pillows were super comfy, I loved the view from my window!! Got up Sunday and enjoyed the delish breakfast buffet, that included nacatamales! (only Sundays), chicken chilaquiles, eggs, pastries, etc. I was so happy to see they have some of my favorites tropical fruits Kalala, nisperos and caimitos. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. My husband made use of their Exercise room, while I enjoyed the sparling, clean, gorgeous pool. I wish I could have spent more time in this Hotel, they have a large cage of exotic colorful birds at the entrance, and a mini zoo in the back, that I couldn't see because I didn't have the time. I highly recommend you stay in this Hotel at the beginning or end of your trip or, if you reside in Managua, spend the weekend with your family it's a beautiful, colorful and fun Hotel. Place is perfect for relaxation. It's fabulous!

I stayed with my mother for a week and she is 1 of the pickiest people ever and she loved it. ALL of the staff if very accommodating and give excellent service. Most of them were calling to us by name by the end of our stay. Their breakfast buffet has tons of variety and worth every penny. The lunch buffet lacked a hot vegetarian option but had a wide variety of meat dishes. Their dinner menu does offer a few meatless options that were delicious. I didn't get to go in the pool but it's beautiful just to walk by. We did use the sauna and steam room which was a treat. We even booked a massage. I am definitely coming back next time I come to Managua the location, ameneties and staff are all amazing. They even change currency at a great rate. The hotel was so quiet I forgot I was so close to Managua's prime location. Very peaceful stay here. There was always someone cleaning. The landscape is maintained and there are even a few parrots and toucans near the entrance. This hotel was a pleasant surprise

I’ve stayed at the Camino Real Hotel in Managua several years ago when flying out of Managua Airport and I remembered really enjoying my stay there. I’m very glad to see that the Camino Real Hotel has maintained its high standards and quality throughout the years. Our room on this visit was modern and comfortable and had all the amenities needed. The staff was very helpful and helped us get a ride to the airport despite our very early flight. The hotel restaurant, very conveniently located near the lobby, had good food and service. The breakfast buffet is excellent. We felt comfortable and safe here. I will definitely stay here again if I ever find myself in Managua, Nicaragua in the future.

Nice hotel. Rooms were clean. AC worked well. Hot water available for showers. Restaurant nice and good food. Pool was clean. We didn’t pay for breakfast but got coffee to go. Cost $15.00 US for two small coffee to go. And breakfast is $14.00 for one person. Unfortunately we didn’t have time for breakfast. Also wish they offered a free shuttle to airport, which is why we stayed at the Best Western when we left Managua.

We love this hotel so much 💯 The staffs are awesome! The check in is so smoothly that I just give my passport and then within a few seconds, staff would show us our room. I bought my girlfriend, her child, and our dog with us. The room is so space and comfortable. The room is very clean. I have to ask for more toilet paper but no big deal. I guess Nicas use a little toilet paper. We like to open windows for some nice fresh air and beautiful view of pool and plants. There are chili and some kind of sour grapes plants that my Nica girlfriend like to eat.The pool is nice and we love it. The Nica breakfast was so good. There are fresh and tasty fruits, scramble eggs, beans, tortilla, cheese, and orange juice. I really like them. They offer coffee or tea but I took herbal tea and I enjoyed it a lot. The location is pretty good but about 5-10 minutes walking away from Central Park. There are some good restaurants around. We like to eat at Restaurante Caimito the Chinese restaurant two blocks in West from the hotel. The food is pretty cheap. About $5 for three of us. We already went there for second times. We ❤️ this hotel and we plan to come back again soon.

Like many colonial properties, you never know what's behind those walls. There is a big pool, lovely garden and fountain, antiques in the breezy walk-way, and a kitchen/breakfast area. We were able to walk pretty much anywhere we wanted to go. There's a pharmacy across the street, a laundry service around the corner, a small store just a few doors down, and it is only a block away from the touristy Calle Calzada. You are also close to the central park, and the market area. At no time did we ever feel unsafe. The pool is huge by local standards and was kept very clean, which brings me to one of the biggest plusses for this property -- the staff. Many have been with the hotel since it opened more than a decade ago. It is family-owned and the owners live on site. A couple of issues we had with the fridge and AC in our unit were dealt with that day and everyone was very friendly, would bend over backwards to help in any way, and they all seem to get along really well together. Very good vibes all around. Our unit (#11) was located on the second level about half-way back. We enjoyed the high ceiling, a comfortable king-sized bed with lots of pillows, and a kitchen unit which included a fridge, gas stove/oven and all the pans and dishes we needed. There were also a table and chairs and a small futon-couch.The room was kept clean and whatever we needed was provided. There's also hot water. Breakfast was amazing! We stayed for 28 days in total and felt like part of the family.

We took a public bus from San Juan del Sur, which dropped us at the bus station in Granada. If you’re walking to the hotel, be cautious with Google Maps — it suggests some lanes that aren’t really walkable. We ended up taking a taxi instead, which was cheap and much less hassle. I recommend just grabbing a taxi from the bus station. The room we were given was quite spacious. It had a small kitchen area, but it wasn’t really usable — there was a cooker but no gas, and no utensils or cutlery. There was, however, a good-sized refrigerator. The air conditioning worked very well, though it was a bit too loud and cold to leave on while sleeping. I would have preferred darker window coverings, as the morning light comes straight into the bedroom — an eye mask helps. The shower room was a good size, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was fine. The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the main square, which is very convenient. I highly recommend the restaurant right next to the hotel — the asado was excellent and great value. The pool was large and very clean, and there’s even a table tennis table available. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would happily stay here again.

Second Time staying at Hotel Flor De Sarta. This property is amazing. The staff is the same is as when we came 2 years ago which was nice they make you feel at home from check in to check out. We always ask for our favorite suite with 2 bedrooms. The AC works amazing gets extremely cold in the rooms which is welcomed after hot humid days around Leon. The bathroom is clean and spacious. The pool is always crystal clear. We had our breakfast and cafe con leche every morning in the main area so serene and peaceful. Traditional Nicaraguan breakfast is delicious and the kids love the pancakes. Parking on St was surprisingly always available for us as we came and went. You may have to find parking down the block only had to 1 of the 5 days we were there. Located in the heart of Leon you could walk anywhere. We always feel safe and at home here we will come back time and time again!

Comfortable, spacious, clean, quiet and in a good location, just a few blocks from the main square and next to many restaurants and cafes, Breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful. We left our things in the hotel after checkout to go on the Cerro Negro tour. When we were back, they let us take a quick shower as we were heading to the airport.

This was my second time staying at Flor de Sarta and I'm sure it won't be the last. The rooms are super spacious and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and I love that the coffee is ready beforehand for us early risers :) The staff is also very attentive and helpful with anything we needed. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

The rooms are very large, comfortable and quiet. The staff is attentive and the breakfast is great- plenty of coffee, fresh fruit and a typical Nicaraguan breakfast with eggs made to order. The pool was refreshing.

Very comfortable, spacious room, AC which we really needed in Hot Leon. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice, choice of pancakes or nica breakfast. We used their cheap same day laundry service. Less than 10 minutes from central plaza. Overall would definitely recommend!

Wayak is our favorite hotel in Managua. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are neat, comfortable and beautiful. But the best is the amazing shower! Value is exceptional. We enjoyed free dinner (we recommend the fajita dinner), as well as free breakfast!

Great price for a hotel, especially with breakfast & dinner included! Airport shuttle was free which was also a massive bonus! the food wasn't the greatest...limited options & not the freshest of ingredients but however, for a FREE meal it was good. Service/staff were very helpful & friendly! Street the hotel is on is super busy & some restaurants are walkable but don't recommend walking around exploring. room was clean & shower pressure was great. There was a pool but we only stayed one night & didn't get to use - water was murky though so wouldn't have swam even if we had the time. Would recommend for a quick stay!

Very central hotel in Managua. Front desk staff was very helpful in answering all questions. Breakfast and dinner were included in the price...nothing fancy but a nice basic dinner and breakfast was delicious. The wait staff were also very good and helpful. Room was huge, with a huge bathroom. Would definitely recommend this hotel

Other than an issue with the airport shuttle we had a fantastic experience. Hotel rooms were spotless. Staff are wonderful. Danielle speaks perfect English. Rooms are large with huge walk in showers. Beds are very comfortable. Courtyard is great for a morning coffee, evening drink or even a business meeting. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. Highly recommend the Wayak. Best hotel we have ever stayed at in Nicaragua!!!

This hotel is top notch! It is situated on beautiful grounds. The location is conveniently located not far from the upscale mall. The rooms are so cozy. It felt great coming back to our room and relaxing after a long day’s adventure. The service was out of this world. We are talking laundry service and airport shuttle. Breakfast and dinner is served dally and the staff was the friendliest and most helpful I’ve experienced in quite some time. Amazing place to spend a nice vacation in Managua!

Like much of Managua, the Hilton is still trying to recover from what COVID did to the tourism industry. 4 out of 5 for Managua, would be a 3 out of 5 in most cities where you have more choices. The bright spot is the service, from the front desk to restaurant staff to the doorman, everyone is very friendly and helpful. Got an upgrade to my room, which was huge and in good condition, with a decent view from the east side. Location is good, short walk to a number of restaurants and only about 20 minutes to the airport. Where it did not shine was the lack of some standard amenities. Coffee maker, but no coffee supplied (even when you asked the front desk, which is pretty bizarre since Nicaragua is a major coffee exporter); on site restaurant had limited hours and limited selection; lounge was closed; gift shop was closed; perhaps most bizarre was breakfast room service cards on the doors are available, but they don't do room service (I ordered and nothing ever showed - when I called down they told me to go to the restaurant - weird). Bottom line - felt like a hotel in the midst of COVID, not one 18 months post. I'm sure it will improve over time.

Very friendly driver (Ricardo) who picked us up at the airport at night. All staff were very informative of area and flagged us down a local bus right in front of the hotel to get to our next destination. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was delicious.

The entire staff is very nice, helpful and attentive, rooms are very clean, I stayed for breakfast and they have a great selection to choose from at the buffet table. I always come back to this hotel every time I’m in Nicaragua.

Strategic location - plenty of shopping venues and restaurant nearby. Staff lovely. The building is a bit old but the room immaculately clean and inviting. WIFI very reliable, Great prices too which helps. Didn't try the restaurant/breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is really relaxed. It has a central garden courtyard, a pool and an upstairs seating area with hammocks and a book exchange. Drinking water is provided free of charge in dispensers in the public areas. The rooms are nice - good shower, decent bed, mosquito nets on all the windows and fans (or AC if you paid a little extra). The breakfast was good, and the coffee was fantastic. There is a reasonably priced bar and restaurant as well. Staff were really helpful and spoke good English. Location is great - just a short walk from the main square and close to many nice restaurants.

This is an awesome Hotel, beautiful, clean and very comfortable. It had a great updated vibe while still keeping with the Colonial history of the building. The beds were comfortable with great bedding and the air conditioner was very good! The staff was amazing and the breakfast was hot and very good and enjoyed while sitting by the peaceful courtyard. The bar was an added bonus and had very good fajitas for a late snack or dinner with happy hour. I am so happy that we found this place and would highly recommend!

Excellent experience all around. I moved here after staying my first couple nights at another (more expensive) hotel close by and immediately wished I had booked my entire Granada vacation here! Everything from the friendly, professional staff to the very clean room and pool area was fantastic. The room was minimalist, but had everything needed and was very comfortable (it appeared like perhaps it had been recently renovated). The breakfast was solid and service was fast. I wish every hotel in Nicaragua had the same standards. I highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is beautiful and Gretchen was incredibly kind and welcoming for our stay. Our room was clean. The team helped us with safe parking for the night. And they even had prepared snacks and coffee for us since we needed to leave early in the morning to catch a flight. Highly recommend this hotel. Also close to square and a Main Street with lots of bars and restaurants.

Breakfast was delicious, staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious with lots of shelves and hooks. Location was perfect, everything was a short walk away. The only thing I would prefer is to make the entire hotel non smoking.

Selina is such a cool hostel! The decor is lovely and the rooms are great. The pool area is very nice and they have free iced drinking water on the bar ready to go. We got upgraded for free to a room with private bathroom which was very appreciated! The staff were all very smiley and helpful, and the kitchen was well equipped. Also, cannot think of a better location for a hostel in Granada! It’s right on the square near all the bars and restaurants, just a great stay!

Overall, I enjoyed staying at Selina Granada. They have a very friendly and helpful staff as well as a diverse options of activities on-site. The room had a beautiful view to the city's central park and cathedral as well as the surrounding colonial style arquitecture all around. However, the only negative that I experienced was the fact that I couldn't get a decent sleep on a Saturday night because they were hosting a party with very loud music which lasted until around 3 am. The party appear to be very nice and fun, but the only thing is that it ends too late for my taste. It appears to be the case that they host these types of parties every other Saturday. So the next time I visti I will make sure that my dates don't coincide with said activity.

Initially I booked for just 2 nights. I left to an Airbnb that unfortunately bamboozled me and my people. Therefore, we found ourselves returning. We loved it at this property. From the welcome drink, yoga class twice a day, massages - excellent food! the Cauliflower Wings were my favorite on the menu. Yet, not always accessible. :( The excursion facilitated made everything super convenient! In my experience their prices are also better than the individuals outside the facility trying to sell you something. Yet, We did meet some people who found a better deal than us. The 1st time I stayed in a deluxe which was really night. I wish I had hot water. I found out the hot water is heated through a solar system. It was pretty cloudy the time I was there. The 2nd time I returned after the incident with the airbnb I was in a suite in the back of the facility. that area was super loud at night vs the area I had the deluxe. Victor the yoga instructor is amazing!!! I sincerely wish I could take his class everywhere I go. I will say it is an advance yoga practice. He is truly my favorite instructor yet, his attention to detail and teaching style hold a special place for us to challenge ourselves and build more trust with ourselves. Beautiful Colonial Hotel in the Heart of Granada.. Perfect Location, I love the decor and artwork of this Hotel!! The service was really excellent. Excellent Tours offers. I definitely recommend this Hotel. If you looking for peace and quiet this is not the place for you. Specially during the weekend. If you are someone who enjoys music , drinks and fun you are in the right place.

A fun, social hotel that was filled with interesting travelers and families from all over the world! We stayed at a few of the other hotels in Granada and nothing compares to the fun we had at Selina! Its in the perfect location and at the center of why you are travelling to Granada! We'll be back over and over again!!!

It’s in a great location - on the way up to Altos de Villa Fontana. The hotel is extremely comfortable with a large and secure parking lot and a pristine large swimming pool. It’s a great place for families with kids. The room was clean and cozy and the bathroom was great - with a modern walk-in shower instead of an outdated bathtub (which you can find in older Hilton hotels). Very good price for what you get. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent stay here! Very clean, nice room, snacks / drinks / small amenities available for sale at the front desk, delicious cookie upon arrival, good restaurant, a ton of choices in the included breakfast, nice pool, helpful and professional staff.

Amazing stay at this beautiful property. The staff was wonderful the rooms were spotless. The restaurant was amazing. The free breakfast is on point. Great food. Close to the mall and many places I need to be at. I needed a document printed last minute and they did for me right at the front desk. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you for everything!

The owner is very polite and helpful, makes you feel welcome, the place is clean and comfortable, I liked the garden so quiet at night you can really have a good rest away from Leon usual heat. Wifi is really good. It's central and I felt safe.

I think they were so welcoming the family. And the room I thought was of a really good standard considering the price. It was well maintained and clearly been recently painted. The bed was comfortable. It was a spacious enough room. And the shower was fine. I had a good pressure on it. Of course for the price you pay you need to recognise that the shower is cold water there’s no warm tap.

Marixa was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to sort some ripped clothing issues for me!. Excellent location 4 minutes stroll to central plaza.. lovely leafy peaceful garden to relax in..clean room with comfy bed..gratis coffee on the brew all day and nice breakfast included. Most highly recommended.

What made this place for me were the owners (I think owners anyways), they were so very sweet and took good care of me! I arrived quite late on a bus from El Salvador and she waited up for me to arrive, then let me go to bed immediately and check in in the morning. Very kind and helpful and sweet. The room was spacious and comfortable and the place was just a few minutes' walk to everything I needed. It's a quiet and peaceful place, which is what I needed after a very social week in El Salvador.

Great location, a very short walk up to edge of town where the hills begin. Beautifully designed terraced architecture to give wonderful breezy view of the bay. The owner, who is french but with the charming nickname of "Baba", is very friendly and helpful. I felt very welcome and right at home. Quiet but nice social atmosphere as well. Small breakfast but delicious and made with care. The right size for me since I don't like to over-eat in the morning. Excellent coffee included. Room and washroom clean and pleasant, King bed large and comfortable. Shared kitchen, nominal charge for beer, water, and sodas. Pool table as well. Can't say enough good things really!

Buena Onda is definitely one of the best places we have stayed. The room we had was very nice, spacious and quiet at night. The communal area is super relaxing with an amazing view over the bay. The kitchen is well equipped too and nice to cook in with the view. Finally the best thing about this place is the breakfast! It changes slightly everyday and the days we were there it was amazing. Highly recommend staying here. We could have stayed a lot longer.

This hostel had an amazing rooftop terrace to relax on that was the highlight of our stay! It was such a nice space, with comfortable chairs and a great view. We spent a lot of time hanging out here enjoying it. The kitchen was well stocked and the breakfast each morning was amazing. Our room was comfortable, with a big bed and effective fans. The hostel also has three really cute and friendly dogs. Would highly recommend! We loved our stay here

The location was perfect, just on side of town but only 5 mins walk. With the most amazing view of San Juan! It was so nice just to sit in the communal place or even better in the swimming pool and see the sunset.our host elvin was lovely and very helpful. Also if you stay here you must go and get a coffee with the lady just around the corner from the hostel, we went here everyday to get our morning coffee, run by a lovely couple from their home and very nice coffee!

the best hostel we’ve stayed in after 6 weeks in Central America! such good value for money, beautiful rooms (we had one of the top ones with a view over the sea), amazing breakfast, lovely staff, beautiful views of the town and of the sunsets!! also the location is really quite central - probably 5 minutes away from the main square. it’s not in a touristy area but we thought that just made it nicer! also lots of lovely cats and dogs around. the local animals do bark quite a lot, but it never stopped us sleeping or woke us up!
