I liked that it was called albert &hottub jacuzzi apartment yet you don't get one when booking you have to pay extra !!!!

The jacuzzi bath was amazing. the location was perfect. the apartment was quiet and spotless and all the little touches made it feel welcoming and homely after a long day enjoying Blackpool.

The apartment was clean, modern. The bed was comfy. Loved the jacuzzi bath and the hot tub. Location was good. A bottle of prosecco was waiting for us on arrival! Check in was easy with codes sent to us before arrival. The best apartment we have stayed in in Blackpool so far.

The rooms were a lovely size, well presented. Loved that you were served breakfast in your room. The breakfast was amazing. Loved having a jacuzzi.

Lovely secluded location nestling quietly up a tree lined lane. The hotel totally refurbished a short time ago to a fiver star standard with luxury fixtures and fittings. The rooms are individual as is the attentive service from the young couple managing the hotel. Breakfast is room served to order and consists of good choice of well prepared produce. This five star hotel provides romantic environment on the edge of the town. We were treated to an upgrade which included a jacuzzi and a small private garden. The only downside was there was no evening meals or bar, lounge available. In short a luxurious romantic retreat with excellent personal service. Just try it.

The accommodation was fabulous, the room was exactly the same as depicted and felt very luxurious, the breakfast served in the room was first class with enough variety to suit everyone and also had Gluton free options, there was a small fridge in the room with bottles of fresh water and milk which was replenished daily, the bathroom was beautiful and the private garden was lovely as was the jacuzzi. It was in an ideal location to visit Windermere and Bowness but also other smaller villages, in particular Cartmell which a beautiful gem of a village. We would highly recommend Grange Manor to anyone who wants to stay in the area and wants a bit of luxury, dogs are also welcome, the hosts were lovely, very unobtrusive but there if needed.

The staff at Grange Manor truly stood out with their kindness and exceptional service. They were always on hand to assist with a warm smile, making me feel valued and cared for throughout my stay. Their genuine hospitality significantly enhanced the overall experience. The bathroom was nothing short of exquisite. Wonderful luxurious hotel with an extraordinary garden and spectacular views onto Lake Windermere. Great staff, very friendly and always helpful. Your holiday begins at the first minute after arrival, a very relaxing atmosphere, the garden is an attraction on its own with beautiful spots for sitting to enjoy the view or relax at a little tarn. A lot of wonderful birdsong and animals to be watched. The bar and conversatory is phantastic, stylish and bright with great drinks. Our luxurious room was quite spacy with very comfy beds and a big window to the garden. Other rooms do have small windows only. The bath room was very clean, but not spotless. EV charging is run by the hotel and very convenient and easy, moderated by competent staff. The best we have ever seen at a hotel. Great location: A golf course or outdoor dining is just minutes away.

Oh my goodness - everything was amazing, the staff were fabulous and very accommodating, the breakfast was superb and the restaurant staff very attentive. This was a surprise trip for my husband's birthday and the hotel and it's staff made it extra special for us. Our room with lake view was stunning and very stylish. The bar and conservatory area had fabulous views of the lake and surrounding manicured gardens. Very peaceful and relaxing, can't wait to go again! It is a little pricey but you certainly get what you pay for, would definitely recommend.

The hotel has a very peaceful and private position with beautiful gardens , reception staff very friendly and welcoming , our room was spacious and comfortable, a beautiful relaxing orangery. we booked Linthwaite Hotel as we had previously stayed in their sister hotel in Franschhoek which was exceptional. The Henrock restaurant, a Simon Rogan restaurant was superb

Beautiful, exceptionally clean hotel on magnificent grounds. The staff were wonderful, especially Jasmine and the gentlemen at the bar. We could have sat in the orangery all day. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by hospitable staff and nature, this hotel is a must. I know a few guests complained about the dinner and/or breakfast, but I know it’s a matter of taste. The breakfast was just right. No buffet style waste and the dinner was ‘Michelin style’. The flavours were delectable! The level of detail in furnishing/designing the dining was wonderful too.

The hotel and its setting are fabulous. The garden and grounds are beautifully laid out and maintained and enhanced both outside and inside the hotel by the many amazing sculptures. The staff are extremely attentive and helpful and will respond to any request immediately and the food is delicious. Breakfast was superb and we very much enjoyed a relaxing dinner in the conservatory. This was my second visit to the Linthwaite House Hotel and I can't wait to return!

Always a lovely stay at Chester House. This stay we booked a room with a jacuzzi bath but there was not enough hot water to fill the tub sufficiently to use the jacuzzi jets. Disappointing, but we will continue to stay at this friendly & welcoming hotel when we visit Chester.

A really enjoyable stay. The room was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail and there was a jacuzzi bath and a walk in shower. The bed was super comfy and huge. The breakfast was very good and we will definitely be returning to this lovely place.

The room was so spacious for our family of 4, the jacuzzi bath was an added bit of luxury which we all got to enjoy. The host was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely book again in the future. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Everything from the reception to the rooms, restaurants was absolutely amazing. Room with a jacuzzi is the best option and I've never slept on a comfier bed before ! Friendly and helpful staff made the stay even better.

The Hottub on the balcony and the Japanese Restaurant

Right from arrival at the gates the staff knew our names, nothing was too much trouble, they aknowledged our special occision, Prosecco on arrival and a full tour of the hotel before being shown to our room . Hottub was absolutely perfect for us to relax in the storm!

The staff was great, very helpful and polite. The spa was not very big but very nice, with a decent size swimming-pool, steam room, jacuzzi, and access to the pub.

Central location was great, easily accessible for grasmere entertainments, but also accessing walks up into the hills and up to Easdale Tarn. Loved the jacuzzi bath and balcony, very comfortable bed.

The spa/jacuzzi type bath was a godsend and relieved many aching muscles and bones. The breakfast was diverse with choices to suit any palet or need. We were offered the room with the high bed which for me was a bit too high and the staff quickly found a more suitable room with very comfortable bed.

Moss Grove is ideally situated in the centre of Grasmere and very handy for local restaurants. The room was a really good size with a very comfortable bed and excellent bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and separate shower too. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each room with an excellent variety of teas to choose from. We would certainly recommend to other travellers.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Room very nice and clean. Balcony with view out across the village (only 2 rooms have one). Hotel does have a small free car park and is located in the village centre so not far to walk anywhere to local shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Breakfast is buffet style with a varied selection so you have to serve yourself. The 'cooked' food was scrambled eggs, sausages mushrooms and tomatoes (so a bit minimal IMO) but the Cumberland sausages were fantastic!!

From the very start the staff were attentive, smiling and obviously a happy team. The room we had was beautiful, really comfortable beds and an absolutely superb bathroom TV over the bath, twin sinks and a wonderful large walk in shower. The breakfast was delicious, we ate in the bistro one night and my husband had the liver which he said was perfect, Im a veggi and the risotto was light and tasty. The restaurant has lovely views of the lake and the food is delicious There is a lovely walk around the grounds and the location is perfect for Bowness and Windermere

Beautiful setting right next to Lake Windemere. The views were amazing over the lake from the lounge, then also our room and again at breakfast from the dining room. The bar was cosy with an open fire and helpful staff. The hotel was clean and welcoming and staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Already recommend to family and friends. We will be returning in the future.

Superbly attentive, helpful and friendly staff. Beautiful old mansion, elegantly restored and decorated. Direct access from the landscaped gardens to the lake, with views to die for. Fabulous food - at both breakfast and dinner. Waiter service was speedy, efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. The dining room conservatory, with superb lake views. There being no Spa…nobody was wafting round in dressing gowns and slippers!!

Breakfast was a good selection ? Service was amazing and the cleanliness was perfect, the staff were really accommodating for whatever we needed even booked us for a couple massage in our room which was amazing our room was so clean I was very impressed the whole environment was so relaxing and the lake view was out of this world thank you

Stunning views of the Lake. The rooms were modern, comfortable and very relaxing. the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful and attentive.

The breakfast was out of this world!! Lovely fresh bread, amazing freshly prepared fruit and yoghurt... Cooked options were also fantastic. I had avocado and salmon on sourdough with cream cheese, it was PERFECT. We had a hot tub in our suite which we used a couple of times. Proper branded jacuzzi.

Perfect location on the edge of Ambleside. The staff were all exceptional. There is a large car park one minute walk from the main reception area, but you can drop off bags and turn right outside. We stayed in the main building because we wanted a proper balcony and we had the largest one. Two sets of double doors opened into the balcony and a lovely view of the quite large garden, which had some nice plants and trees. (In the separate, more modern, building the upstairs rooms have Juliette balconies and the ground floor rooms have dog friendly’ outside areas.) Our bathroom had a bath that filled very quickly and a large, free-standing shower (rainfall and hand-held) with excellent water pressure. Beautiful ‘Bath House’ toiletries were provided. The bed in our room was very big - a super king I think. The sheets were lovely. The restaurant’s ambience was perfect and the food was sublime. YOU MUST GO! The high quality extended to breakfast too.

Our stay at Rothay Manor was perfect. Staff were welcoming and helpful and made us feel right at home, The room was nicely furbished. Bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. The shower was excellent, lots of flow and great temperature control. Nice fluffy generous towels and soap / shower gel. We also ate at the restaurant. Food, ambience and staff were all excellent. Slept comfortably and peacefully. We were also able to park at an EV charger parking spot and recharge the car overnight at a very reasonable rate for a public charger. Breakfast the next morning was great. Just perfect all round.

Our superior room was stunning. (first room at the top of the stairs - forget the name.) It had some fantastic wallpaper. Amazing large bathroom, large walk in shower and free standing bath. Large balcony overlooking the gardens. £5 option to have breakfast on the balcony table. Hotel happy to organise flowers for arrival. 6 x 22kW (11kW usable in my EV) 3-phase EV chargers. Reasonable £0.40/kWh charge. Food in the restaurant was excellent and very foodie - you wouldn't however want to eat there more than once though as there is limited options/limited set menu and it's £65+ per head for min 3 courses. The cheese trolly was special. Very clean and comfy king size bed.

The interior design is beautiful and the garden terrace is lovely. We loved the room in the new pavillon, absolutely beautiful and comfortable! 10 out 10. The receptionists are welcoming, convenient and very friendly. The location is perfect near the river, the lake and Ambleside city center. The breakfast was really good and we loved the personal touches.

Comfortable room, friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and steam and there is also a sauna, pool and gym. For me food is important and the dinner of triple roast birds (additional payment), was the best meal I’ve ever had, second to the breakfast there which was included in the cost

Loved this hotel, can’t fault it. We had a superior room in the new wing, nice and spacious and bathroom was fab. We made good use of the pool, sauna, jacuzzi and steam room. The gym is a little tired but machines are useable. The grounds are nice for sitting outside in good weather and there’s a cute little model village on site which is a nice little extra (tokens at reception). Breakfast was pretty good. Staff in bar/restaurant were all really lovely and even though they were obviously exceptionally busy over bank holiday weekend everything ran really smoothly.

It may be a 3 star hotel but service is 5 star - incredibly helpful and friendly staff and impeccably clean everywhere. It's a lovely quiet spot too - looking out onto the gardens and surrounding rural area from the bar and restaurant is really nice. The only things letting it down are the older decor in the rooms (although the bed was very comfy with lovely bedding) and the fact that the walls are very thin (I could hear neighbours talking and TVs, and bathroom usage), plus I had a basin that wouldn't drain and a weak shower, but this is why it's classed as 3 star I suppose. The other let down was the dinner food which was a bit odd and overpriced with strange, over-elaborate menu choices, although I had a couple of great starters. Breakfast was better but I would still have preferred more simple choices - the Sunday buffet was best as I could have any combination of cooked breakfast I wanted. But these are small concerns when overall it's great value for money and has a lovely vibe. And I didn't get to try the spa and gym facilities - next time!

The room was lovely and very welcoming with mood lighting in both areas. The indoor jacuzzi was all ready and waiting for us to.use if was very relaxing and luxurious cant wait to return !

Very comfortable enclosed private cabin. The choice of hot tub, jacuzzi bath (with TV) and shower/steam room were excellent. Great choices of coffee/tea/hot chocolate with added bonus of real milk! The breakfast delivery was also a great plus for our stay. All staff were helpful and cheerful and ensured our every need were catered for. Thankyou to them especially!

When booking the hotel, I wanted to make a few add on requests as this was a romantic get away and also partners birthday surprise I contacted the hotel and to add a few things to the room and I can pay on arrival the staff we're very polite and friendly which made our stay more likeable the room and out door jacuzzi was amazing everything was perfect.

Staff were friendly but efficient. Everywhere was clean. I particularly enjoyed the use of the gym, sauna, steam room and swimming pool all that looked fairly new. It would have been enhanced by a Jacuzzi but I am not sure where Barton could put one! One potential improvement would be if the room key could be used to operate the car park barrier to avoid having to ask reception to raise the barrier each time I returned to the hotel. But my only reason for not giving 5 stars overall was that my room was a lttle on the cramped side compared to similar hotels for a similar price.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing - excellent choice & all top quality products & fresh. Croissants were delicious & the cooked breakfast was also really tasty, we were very pleased. The spa & pool were also great. The sauna & steam worked really well, pool was clean & refreshing - lovely cool temperature after the heat of the sauna & steam & the heated beds were so nice & relaxing. The beds & room were also comfortable & we enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant too. Good, patient, kind & friendly service from all - reception & dining.

I stayed one night and arrived shortly before my dinner booking after a very very long drive. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. I had dinner in the restaurant which was tasty and good value for money. Breakfast was also very good - buffet style with everything you could want. The room was clean, well appointed and perfectly adequate. There are no amenities (other than shampoo and conditioner in dispensers in the shower). There is no airconditioning so the room got a bit stuffy as it was a warm night. Had I not been so tired on arrival I'd have spotted a plug in fan in the wardrobe... The car park is monitored with security barriers and the location is very close to the M6 from either the north or south and makes an ideal overnight stop en route to or from Scotland to the South. The spa facilities looked good - I did use the pool and steam room early morning before I set off on the next leg of my journey and both were good. All in all a nice place to stay and more personal than the big branded hotels.

As soon as we got there staff were amazing. Really outgoing, friendly, welcoming. Room was lovely and clean with a nice view. Breakfast was delicious. Leasure facilities were excellent and clean. A lady on the front desk was loveliest person we've ever met at this location and we've been a few times now.

All the staff we met were great, especially the Receptionist. Location was perfect as a stop over. Dinner was tasty. Room was a little small but was nicely done, clean and comfortable bed. Fine for a quick one night stop over. Liked the fact plenty of parking. Breakfast in morning was a buffet , available from 6:30 so perfect for an early morning start. Good variety. Nice grounds

Second visit for my wife’s 40th and it never disappoints. Stayed in a double room with Hottub which has amazing views of the lake, rooms are perfect, staff great including drinks and breakfast. Will certainly return

Amazing location great value for money wonderful service from Patrick well done an asset for any bussines .rooms very comfortable air condition not available .rooms with Jacuzzi very nice . Food was good in the Bar pool bar was a problem with chlorine fumes.Asian fusion restaurant was very fine and again great value for money highly recommended

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome. The staff here really go out of their way to make you feel special. Special mention to the concierge who showed us round the hotel who made us chuckle with his witty comments and the lady on reception who checked us in with a glass of Prosecco . The man who greets you in the car park was lovely, and guided us to a parking spot. He even knew our name! We had a reservation at the hotel restaurant, Mizumi as it was my husband’s birthday. The food was excellent I would definitely recommend it . The decor is outstanding . The spa is great for a few hours of relaxation . Nothing better than drinking a G&T in a jacuzzi. Thankyou, for a wonderful stay we will definitely return.

An excellent hotel, the room was amazing, and we got upgraded to a larger room when the hotel heard it was our anniversary! Very clean and comfortable, and the hot tub on the balcony was a must have The spa facilities were fantastic, and the cocktail bar was lovely for food and sitting outside with a view The hotel was very close to bowness town centre and the lakshore, with a myriad of restaurants and bars to choose from! Wpuld really recomend porto for a date night, followed by cocktails in the hotel bar, which can be taken up to the room hot tub in a pastic cup

Loved our two night stay at Lakes Hotel and Spa. We opted for the small double with hot tub and it was a sizeable, clean and gorgeous room with a view to the front, very impressed! Location is perfect; a 5 min walk to the windermere centre with shops, cafes and restaurants. We walked to the marina (10mins) which is the opposite direction and would recommend a meal at the marina restuaurant. The hotel has a lovely cocktail terrace, restuarant, pub and oriental resturant. Breakfast in the main restaurant was lovely and we had dinner in the pub which was great. We made use of the spa facilities which were great too Thank you!

Stayed for out ruby wedding anniversary. Room was lovely , staff very welcoming. Breakfast was exceptional. Facilities were very good , hot tub , steam room & jacuzzi bath brilliant. Great stay for a special occasion

The Tivoli was amazing, the room with the hot tub and jacuzzi Bath was like having your own personal 5 star spa with lovely lighting/candles and stylish decor. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Met the owners just as we were leaving and again, very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely stay again, a lovely break from the kids 👍

Absolutely loved this hotel, the welcoming Prosecco was a nice touch. Free parking, breakfast delivered to your room for a small fee and worth it in my opinion. Sweetheart Room (Cottage) was amazing. Well proportioned, cozy flame effect fire and wonderful Spa Bathroom. We chickened out and didn't use the outdoor Jacuzzi, it was too windy and raining heavily. Would definitely recommend for a treat.

We were very pleasantly surprised on arriving at the Boutique Hotel. We were warmly greeted with a glass of Prosecco. Our suite was so much better than we had expected. In addition to the bedroom there was a room with a table for meals, a bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a Sauna. Our suite did not have a 'hot tub', which the other suites had, but that did not concern us.The Breakfast menu was excellent and food was cooked to order. Dinner was available but had to be ordered by 5.30pm. We ate out at local restaurants on both nights - restaurants that had been recommended by the staff at the hotel

Very friendly welcoming staff, great location, plenty of parking space. The room was spacious and clean, and the double bed was comfortable, as was the single bed (we booked a twin room). All the expected basics, such as kettle, coffee/tea, etc, were available. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. Overall, the hotel was quiet apart from Saturday night (we stayed in room 4 which was very near the lobby/dining area).

Mike, Anthony, and Monica were extremely friendly, helpful, and just fantastic in every way. Also, Cathy and Julie were so kind and professional. The place is fairly simple. I won't lie to you. But, it has everything you need and the location is great. I highly recommend the pub next door to the hotel. It is right there and shares the same parking lot. No, it is not just a bar. They have great food, an extensive menu, and it is family friendly. A taxi ride is always available and will only cost about 5 to 10 pounds to go anywhere in town. Everybody in Chorley was extremely friendly and the town square has plenty to see and do. I would stay at this location again and I recommend it to all.

Clean and comfortable room, ample parking, reasonable prices and very friendly staff - all made our stay a good one. Definitely recommended. Breakfast was continental with option for sausage/bacon sandwich which was enough for us. Also having a pub nextdoor is a great benefit, hotel guests don't have to go around looking for restaurants - so convenient.

The staff were very friendly. Rooms are clean and warm with comfortable beds, a great tv, tea/coffee and biscuits. Bathroom a good size and spotless. A short bus ride to the bus/train stations and the shops. We couldn't have chosen better. My 83 year old mum was thrilled as she'd lived in Chorley in the late '60s with my dad when my sister was a baby and my dad was attending the teaching college. We spent what would have been his 85th birthday walking through Astley Park and looking at their old house. Just perfect.

Stayed in cabin with hottub. Very private, food was amazing at huntsman inn. Breakfast included and was great in garden view restaurant. Close drive to shops and Windermere,beautiful views 😍 Log fire was amazing and hot tub was great! Thankyou for an amazing anniversary get away 💕

Warm welcome at the reception, nice clean room. All the staff were pleasant and very helpful, good breakfast (buffet style), and evening meal on second night was good too. Nice pool and jacuzzi, the sauna didn't appear to be in use. Booked with the Winter offer I received from the hotel group.

One of the best dog friendly rooms we've ever had....four poster bed, jacuzzi bath and Lake view. Cosy atmosphere, friendly & obliging staff & great food. Good location for exploring this area. Would recommend & would definitely revisit.

The reception staff were lovely and very helpful. Our room was very clean with a new bathroom. The bed was really comfortable. The jacuzzi and pool was a lovely way to relax. Breakfast was good.

Perfect spot for a base for a couple of days whilst touring the area. Had the benefit of an upgrade upon arrival toa 4 poster and jacuzzi bath which was most appreciated, and couldn't fault the decor or cleaning. Felt good to be able to open a window too as you can't always in some hotels. Had a lovely cooked breakfast and staff were pleasant enough. Didn't use the bar area or lounge so can't comment on that. The hotel is between Bowness and Windermere so ideal for walking to either or direct access to explore the south lakes area. Quite happy to stay again on another visit.

Friendly staff and the room was clean and the bed comfortable, the breakfast aas delicious and prepared fresh. Only a few things they can improve on- The shower wasn't that powerful, the head didnt really acheive must power or water where it was needed, not adjustable. The bar only offered bottled beer and lacked atmosphere, their missing out on not having the guests relax in the lounge area, a social club a couple of minutes walk was freindly.

The property has free parking and is roughly half way between windermere and bowness so convenient for both, the rooms are spacious clean and well maintained and the breakfast service is excellent, also the staff are all friendly and helpful.

We stayed for two nights, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice with everything that you could need, great tea tray, lovely toiletries etc. very comfortable bed, good lighting and a nice hot shower. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Plenty of parking too and in a great location for walking to both Bowness and Windermere. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative issue was a thoughtless guest on our final night who played the TV very loudly and had no regard for other guests.

Friendly receptionist when booming in. Ensured we had l we needed and showed how tl connect to free wifi. Room was modern and well decorated. Ample tea and coffee etc and welcoming biscuits and 2 chocolates next to decoration made from towels. Exclent breakfast choices and the pancakes with fruit were a big favourite. Hotel is situated within a short walk of Windermere village and bus stops close by. Recommend daily bus pass. Great way to get around and avoid parking fees

We were greeted by the receptionist, who was very friendly, as were all the staff we met. When we got to our room, although economy room, it didn’t lack anything. Plenty of complimentary tea and coffee, biscuits, and shower gel. The room and the bathroom were spotless. The room was quite warm, but there was a fan you could use. There was the normal day time noise, but it was quiet and peaceful at night, and I a very comfortable bed. We had the full English for breakfast, which was a good breakfast, and I couldn’t finish it all. There was plenty of cold breakfast, to choose from with toast, tea, coffee and fruit juice. Really good value for money. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent breakfast and staff at all levels from cleaning and maintenance through to catering, bar staff , reception and management perform 100 per cent to ensure all your needs are met. Beautiful venue for a special event or break away. Dog friendly ( inside peek - your dog will be offered a sausage treat for breakfast !) . Recommend 100 per cent and am a regular visitor from overseas. Impeccable service from every staff member and an exceptional breakfast make this a standout destination. A beautiful, dog-friendly venue perfect for special occasions or a relaxing getaway—highly recommended by a loyal international guest.

The room was spacious and clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had a super choice and was very tasty. The staff during breakfast were very helpful and full of smiles for everyone. The location was very nice - it was hilly but good for walks. We loved the complimentary wine - a lovely surprise.

We booked in for the dinner and breakfast package, which was fantastic. Our room was so nice, lovely and warm and the bed was big and comfortable. We had a great nights sleep! The food at dinner was amazing, great presentation and tasted really good with plenty of options. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices of Full English, cereals, fruit etc. The location is so nice also with the village being just down the road and amazing scenery just a short drive out. Outstanding value for money.

Excellent location, we booked the superior double bedroom for one night and there plenty of parking at the property. Check in was quick and the room was huge with shower and a bathtub. The bed was super comfortable and we had an iron and ironing board, some coffee, tea and milk and a kettle for tea making facilities. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
