Well presented, clean and spacious. Quiet location. An environment to relax in after a day's sightseeing. Although communal, the jacuzzi was just meters away from the bedroom door. We made the most of that!☺️

The place was quiet, clean, and well maintained. Allthough self-catering with a communal kitchen, the room had a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom had towels and shampoo and shower gel to use. On our first night, there was noise coming from the pipe work. It was reported in the morning and promptly fixed. There are no noises for the second night.Perfect for our needs being halfway between the family and the coast. We would definitely go back

Everything! Lovely quaint accommodation in a perfect location. Quiet village but so easy to get around to all the attractions. Mary and Jaime were very helpful both before we arrived and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless with all amenities. A little shared lounge provided extra seating, a fridge with fresh milk and home made cakes if you felt a little peckish. There was a popular pub/restaurant opposite and a little local shop that was very convenient. Had a few walks locally to stretch our legs. Last but not least - the breakfast! A great varied menu cooked to perfection and we’ll have to return just to try the other delicious choices.

Excellent value for money, one of the best breakfasts we've had, lots of choice, all tasty. Room clean and cosy, everything provided, lovely toiletries, quality tea coffee bags in room along with thoughtful little extras. It is, I suppose, self check in, but entrance instructions were clear and easy to follow, and there was a lovely welcome pack with our key, which we hadn't expected. Located in a peaceful little village across the road from the local Pub /eatery All the staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful. Thank you for being so welcoming. We do visit the area often and normally stay with family, that wasn't possible this time, which is how we came to find this little gem. It's well located for whatever you're visiting the area for and a short drive into Wroxham has trains to Norwich, Cromer etc. If we ever need accommodation again, we know where to go. Definitely would recommend 👌

We loved the welcome box on arrival, full of little local treats. Great choice of breakfast options which were delicious, our room (Stable 2) was comfy, cosy and we never slept better. Staff were friendly and full of tips on places to visit and dining out. The building itself is full of history and character, mind your head! A thoroughly enjoyable and welcoming stay...a true gem on the broads

I had an amazing stay! The place was incredibly cozy, spotless, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable visit. It was easy to find, with convenient parking, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I felt truly at home here and would definitely stay again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

I felt looked after from before I arrived - I received a message the day of my arrival asking my arrival time. It was likely to be unmanned at the time, so I was given clear entry instructions to the property and my room. There was a sheet left ready for me to fill out at reception with my breakfast order. The whole property and room was squeaky clean, and smelled nice too! The kitchenette facilities in the room were so helpful, the bed so comfy, and wonderful peaceful views from my room. I went down to breakfast in the morning and it was bright and all the tables set up beautifully. I was seated at my table (numbered for my room), and helped myself to the continental selection, before my full English was brought out and pot of tea I’d requested. Every part of it was delicious! And the lady who was serving was so polite friendly and helpful. An overall faultless and relaxing stay, would love to return and would highly recommend.

Friendly communication prior to arrival, whole place immaculately clean, welcoming & comfortable - especially liked the seating areas on the landings, ideal for a quiet read. Room very comfortable, especially the bed, nice spacious room, very quiet, Breakfast excellent. Ideal location for coast & Broads as well as Norwich. Less than 10 mins walk to local pub, ( The Dog) but only food there Fri, Sat & Sunday ( street-food van) Indian restaurant 3 mins walk away & list of other nearby eateries in room Also microwave in our room & can get deliveries. We loved everything about it!

We can honestly say there was nothing we didn't like. We were greeted with a friendly welcome. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a fridge and microwave which came in handy. All staff were friendly and approachable. The breakfast was varied, delicious and cooked to order. Everywhere was spotless. Our room was cleaned every day. The grounds are spacious, with outdoor areas and off road parking. Church Farm is in a quiet area not far from Norwich but also not far from many other places of interest so ideal as a base.

The guest house was lovely driving up to it, plenty of parking. Went to reception, spoke to the lady who i think is in charge of the establishment. Very accomodating and lovely! Ordered my breakfast which i had been told by my dad,who had been previous, it was amazing. Went up to my room, wonderful wonderful room. Clean, tidy, all the facilities you need. Had a glorious powerful shower! Good tv! The bed was very comfy! Safe to say i was very happy with the room! Went down for breakfast next morning, with a bit of an expectation going by my dads review. The sausages were as my dad said, amazing! The scrambled egg was so light and tasty. Even the tea, which youd think tastes similar anywhere you go was so much better! My whole stay was so great! Would definitely recommend and will stay again if i'm in the area next!

It looked and was, very clean and comfortable ..,easy parking and in a nice area.our room was en suite (all their rooms are) and a good size too with plenty of storage. tea /coffee making facilities… plus a fridge and microwave in room. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was delicious and fresh with excellent friendly service

Our rooms were spotlessly clean with all the expected facilities which included a well stocked tea tray, bottled water and a dressing table mirror that could be moved to a suitable place, a solution to my usual gripe about mirrors and sockets never being together! The beds were so comfy with a duvet like a warm cloud. The staff, without exception, were friendly and helpful, led by the lovely owner who served breakfast with a smile and good humour. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast during our stay, all fresh ingredients, and delicious.

The Parson Woodforde is a lovely pub in Weston Longville about a 20 minute drive from Norwich. Our double room with ensuite was quite compact but still very comfortable. The angled ceilings with skylights made the room feel very spacious and it was nice we could open the skylights to let some fresh air in, as the room was quite toasty. It was nice having our own ensuite and we enjoyed the hot shower. The pub itself is full of old english character and is very comfy and cosy. The breakfast was excellent and the dining menu is not your regular pub fare. All three nights of our stay we ate at the pub and believe you would be hard pressed to find a better place to eat. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend if you are in the Norwich area and want an old english pub experience, definitely worth a stay.

Our room was very clean and comfortable, including the en-suite with an easy to work shower which had good water pressure. The food was of an excellent quality at breakfast and in the evenings. The cooked breakfast was one the best that i have ever had. Just one point which might be considered, is to offer pastries and fruit at breakfast. My wife, does not like a traditional full English in the morning and it might be worth considering offering a selection of pastries and fruit. It could be offered as an option when guests check in and then costs are controlled. I must commend Alison on her comprehensive check in with clearly explained Fire Safety procedures. All staff were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I would whole heartedly recommend this pub.

Excellent communication before arrival and the best welcome ever. Allyson is a brilliant hostess and it's clear the staff are happy, which makes such a difference as a guest. Everyone from bar staff, waiters and waitresses, room service were all so thoughtful and helpful. Very attractive room, plentiful teas and coffees ( a contrast to some places which are stingy). Plus plentiful toiletries. Comfortable bed, delicious evening meal (the fish pie was perfect). One of our party has a food allergy and the attention to detail, even providing a menu indicating what was safe / not safe to order, means that person could be totally relaxed. It makes such a difference. Ample, beautifully cooked breakfast. Thank you everyone for such a brilliant stay.

Room 3. Parking in the pub grounds felt safe. Bed comfortable. Bathroom small but fine. Nice and clean. Room felt safe. Staff helpful. Food very nice. No aircon but fan. Also ceiling window. Wifi good. Tea coffee hot chocolate water and biscuits. No fridge. Breakfast was good. Allyson the owner and staff very covid aware. Temperature taken. Etc. Fire awareness and mini fire drill on checkin. Would stay again

Car parking plentiful, check in was easy and rooms as expected. Staff friendly and welcoming. The pub was nicely decorated, clean throughout, all the essentials available in the room - not huge but perfectly adequate and as described. Quiet location (apart from bin-men quite early but obviously can't be helped.) Bed very comfy. Shower efficient, temperature easily adjusted - soap, small bottles of shower gel, shampoo/conditioner and hand/body lotion all replaced daily. Windows actually open as proper windows! TV worked. Kettle, range of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits available in room + bottle of still and sparkling water - all topped up after room tidy on each day. Breakfast included in the price was wide ranging and just about any variation provided on request. Tasty food (both for breakfast and on the meals we had from the menu). Well cooked and presented. Staff providing service for those meals and breakfast knowledgable and couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely re-visit.

Friendly and helpful staff on arrival, at breakfast and checkout. Room was clean, looked freshly and tastefully decorated, good quality furniture, good bedding and towels, clean carpets and good shower. Tea, coffee, kettle, bottled water provided, decent hairdryer and plenty of plug sockets with USB connections. Breakfast was very tasty, select 'breakfast included' option for best value for money. Good quality full English breskfast. We would definitely recommend and would stay again, thank you for a very pleasant stay

The room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. There were tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Breakfast was delicious. Evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic too with different specials each day. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. I had a great stay!

We liked everything about The Black Swan.....the staff were very friendly and efficient, we were booked in with a smile and our room was spotlessly clean, we think it must have been recently upgraded as there were a couple of places on the walls that had been filled but still needed painting but having said that it did not detract from the overall comfort of the room.... bed very comfy, bed linen of good quality and or evening meal in the restaurant was delicious. the menu covered all tastes. My wife had Halibut which was cooked to perfection, I ordered a rack of ribs which were delicious. Drinks were reasonably priced with a decent wine selection. Unfortunately we didn't have room for dessert so cannot comment but ones we saw delivered to neighbouring tables looked very good. Breakfast was a very good selection from a menu and not buffet which was a nice touch. My wife had two perfectly poached eggs on toast and I had a full English which was also perfectly cooked and delivered hot, which is often not the case. We thoughly enjoyed our 1 night stay and only wish it could have been longer. The Black Swan definitely seem to have got things just right....long may it continue. We would definitely return and would recommend.

The room was beautiful, very clean, extremely comfortable and everything in the room was situated perfectly! The two beds near each other so we were able to keep an eye on our daughter. We loved the room and it looked wonderful online and it lived up to that expectation and more. The breakfast included was AMAZING! Normally when you go to a hotel you have the basics included but everything on the breakfast menus was included and a great variety for children and adults. The day we arrived we weren’t sure on the area and so went to explore the hotel called us in the evening to make sure we had eaten and didn’t need a table. Staff were very friendly and welcoming both on arrival, for breakfast and when we saw them around the hotel. We would love to visit again!

Amazing breakfast, worth the extra £7. Good quality food and excellent service. Great shower and a nice bathroom . Amazing mattress and a very quite room, so great sleep. Extra blankets in cupboard, which is nice touch . Room is very clean and comfortable, all so tea and coffee in room. Basic furniture but very clean and tidy. Worth every penny and staff are so helpful and very friendly. Will be booking again and would highly recommend Abbey guest House to all my friends.

It’s very near the train station, and within walking distance from the city centre. The room was very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Perfect for those who want to work or relax peacefully. Breakfast was really good! A full English breakfast for a decent price. Vivian and her husband are amazing hosts. They make you feel at home and are very friendly/approachable, really going out of their way to ensure that you’re comfortable.

Nice spacious clean room. Not ultra modern, but bed large and comfortable, tea and coffee, TV and recently refurbished ensuite. Proprietors friendly and helpful Although a little out of town, there's a pub and two restaurants a short stone's throw away.

The location was ideal. I travelled by train. Abbey Guest House is only 5 minutes walk from the station. Equally it is only 5 minutes from the lovely river walk to the Cathedral quarter and the beautiful area surrounding this part of the city I had not booked breakfast in advance but did so on arrival. The cost was modest to say the least , particularly in view of the size of the breakfast. The room was clean, likewise the en- suite area.The bed was extremely comfortable. I was very surprised that the room had air- conditioning- most welcome in the heat.The staff were very friendly and accommodating. All round the Abbey Guest House represents a fabulous value for money stay. Thank you

It is an extremely well kept guest house and spotlessly clean my bed was so comfortable and the room was very nice I was at the top floor attic and it had a lovely unspoilt views the room had air con which was a god send because at the time of my stay it was very warm and humid the Railway station was a 5 minute walk which was ideal for me travelling by train. Last but not least the cooked breakfast was delicious and very tasty, the host was a lovely lady who was very helpful and polite. Definitely stay here again.

We stayed at The Plough Inn, booking the junior suite and the superior king room, and what an amazing experience it was from start to finish. The inn is spotless, stylish, and so comfortable — the beds were honestly some of the best we’ve ever slept in. In the evening we dined downstairs. Thankfully, we had booked ahead as the restaurant was buzzing and very busy. We all ordered the fish and chips, which were simply delicious. The batter was light and crispy, the fish perfectly cooked, and the minty mushy peas were an unexpected highlight. The location was perfect for exploring the local area — we spent the day in Cromer — and then returned for a relaxing evening. Breakfast the next morning was exceptional, truly the best we’ve ever had. Dad and I enjoyed a hearty full English, while Mum was delighted with her eggs Benedict. Every flavour was so fresh and well-balanced: the rich eggs, the sweet yet smoky bacon, the creamy butter melting into the toast — all absolutely outstanding. It may sound unusual to single out something as simple as toast, but every detail here was spot-on. The bathrooms were beautifully appointed, the staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. We loved every moment and will definitely be back.

Just about Everything!! Comfortable Cosy room, comfy beds, great TV, well decorated, Fabulous Bathroom with amazing Shower, Bradley and ALL his staff were amazingly friendly, Nothing was too much trouble, the whole Pub was SPOTLESS and well situated for Visiting North Norfolk. Free Parking on site, good WiFI. Restaurant and Food was Fantastic, great choice on menu for Evening Meals, GLUTEN FREE and Dairy Free Catered for Very well, happy to adapt menus on most meals to suit GF and DF. Great Breakfast, with all good Produce.. We will definitely be going back next year for Longer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Great place to stay to explore North Norfolk. Really clean and comfortable. All staff really welcoming and friendly. Restaurant was closed unfortunately but understood the reason and breakfast was fresh and really good. Rooms were spacious and bed very comfortable. Bathroom looked brand new and modern.

The room was spotlessly clean and had the best shower we have ever experienced in this kind of property! The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The owner even offered to book a table at a local restaurant for us. Well stocked coffee and tea facilities in the room and access to a multitude of TV channels including itvx, Netflix and bbc i-player. The breakfast was excellent, with cooked breakfast, cereal and pastries all available. We also had an evening meal there which was delicious and reasonably priced. It made a good base for trips out to other towns such as Aylesham, Sheringham and Norwich.

We had a wonderful stay, dinner and breakfast at the Plough Inn. The room was warm, cosy, modern and clean. The dinner was fantastic - there is a wide range of dishes to choose from. The salmon en croute was delicious and my partners steak was cooked perfectly. Staff were attentive & friendly. Would highly recommend & would definitely stay again!

Lovely character hotel in a brilliant setting for the Broads. All the staff we met couldn’t be more helpful, the restaurant & bar staff in particular. We didn’t see or speak to any of the reception staff during the 4 nights we stayed there. Enrico checked us in & out, even though he was exceptionally busy in the restaurant. He is a great asset for the hotel as were all the restaurant staff and Lisa who served at breakfast. We stayed in a balcony room overlooking the river which was lovely. They are not big rooms, but are spotless, comfortable and well appointed with lovely touches such as bottled water and pillow spray. The food in the hotel is excellent, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner over the 4 days and everything we had was very good. The breakfasts were really good and Alan who was one of the Chefs catered to my specific requests, which you wouldn’t get in many hotels. Our stay there was just great & we will definitely return.

It was a pleasure to be greeted by Enrico who carried all our bags to the lovely clean and recently refurbished room with a balcony. The lovely views of the river seated on the balcony with all its bird and boating activities kept us in good spirits as we sipped our wine pre our booked dinner in the restaurant which was equally pleasing with comfortable seating. Enrico deserves a medal for his wonderful hospitality and service as he efficiently keeps everyone happy with his service and good humour. The food was good, too and breakfast was also lovely with ample choices to be healthy and not so. We had a wonderful stay - good sleep in a good clean bed with en-suite warm clean & lovely shower over bathroom. Thick towels and the whole stay was an absolute pleasure.

The location is excellent, with lovely bar/restaurant views of the river. The rooms were excellent. Newly renovated/maintained. Great bathroom and shower. Very comfortable bed. The restaurant food, both at breakfast and dinner was lovely. Breakfast was _very_ generous.

Breakfast was excellent and the view from the dining room was superb. Situated right by the river the hotel terrace is perfect for watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand (quite pricey though). We were very lucky in that the weather was excellent during our stay. The bar was very inviting and buzzing with both tourists and locals alike, as was the restaurant. Our deluxe room was beautifully decorated - very comfortable and a great size. Tempted to book the deluxe with balcony next time as they have fabulous views of the River Bure and the sun setting.

We had a fabulous 2 night pre Christmas break at the Wroxham Hotel and we loved it. The room we had was lovely and clean, overlooking the river. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant and bar had fabulous views also with cosy log burners and festive decs. Staff were friendly and helpful, in particular Lisa, who looked after us at breakfast. We couldn’t fault it and we will be back.

Everything! The staff, the amazing shower & delicious shower products, the soft plentiful towels, the cleanliness, the breakfast options, the comfortable beds, the calm relaxed friendly atmosphere, the onsite carparking, the stunning village and the generosity of the entire team. Not to mention the chocolates, the fresh coffee and the biscuits on arrival (which were also replenished for longer stays). Also the bar food/ dinner menu and the helpful bar staff in the evening.. so many gins to try!

🐕🐕 friendly. Staff are very friendly & helpful. The superior double room is positioned outside of the pub and is very spacious and quiet. The bathroom is very small but neat with a walk-in shower. We found the bed too small. Given the size of the room, it deserves a super king bed (6 ft). If bed size is important to you, double check when booking as singles may prove more comfortable. The bar is lively on a Friday & Saturday, which we liked. You can eat in the bar or there are 2 separate restaurant areas. The menu is limited, but the food was nice. Breakfast was very good, but again, it is limited in choice. It was lovely to have the Sunday papers and plenty of time to read and just enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. Our dogs were very comfortable everywhere in the property, which is a good indication of atmosphere. As soon as we arrived, we were allocated dog beds and bowls, which was very helpful.

The location of the Swan is excellent being in the centre of the lovely village of Loddon. The room was spacious, lovely linens and beautiful towels and lovely decoration, colours in the room, furnishings, curtains/blinds. I had asked for a disability access room, ours was on the ground floor in an annex, with a lovely wet room shower room. The shower was excellent. There was also a drop down arm rest/support next to the toilet. Plenty of good soap/shower gel/shampoo in fixed containers. The parking/large car park was immediately outside our room, with very warm weather, it was still, possible to have windows open all night without being too disturbed by cars entering and leaving. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is delightful in what appears to be a recently renovated barn.

This was our second vist to the Lodden Swan. Pretty location, well positioned for sightseeing in the the surrounding area, as well as Norwich and the coast. Friendly staff, spacious, clean and comfortable room. Bar and dining area comfortable and nicely presented. Good selection of hot and cold choices for breakfast, which we would recommend. Would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area.

We were in the separate annex and loved the building. The room was spacious and light with all the facilities needed. We particularly appreciated the pod coffee machine, which produced delicious coffee. The main building was full of character, with a great atmosphere. The upstairs dining room was light and spacious, the downstairs one was smaller but equally comfortable. Both were clean and well cared for.

Great location. Staff on front desk very helpful and. Restaurant staff also very helpful. All food was fabulous from the breakfast, lunch and dinner. Grounds were very pretty and we had a garden view patio room which was very spacious and had a lovely spa bath and separate shower. The Imagine Spa was well kept. The pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi all operational during our stay. We would definitely return.

Had a great stay at the Park Farm Hotel - only one night but the pool and sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were great, the staff were really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was lovely - didn't try the restaurant which is a shame as it was apparently very good. Only niggle would be the extra charge of £20 to use the pool so overall made the value for money a tad less, but that's the only slight negative.

Lovely place to stay. Courtyard room modern, clean and spacious. Bed large and comfortable - but felt too firm by morning, a mattress topper may make it better if I was being very picky. Real coffee bags in both caffeinated and decaf in the room along with tea and biscuits, lovely touch. Bathroom spacious, modern and clean with benefit if shower being fully separate from bath, always a bonus. The restaurants were both great. We ate in the bar for our evening meal our first night; food and service both outstanding, highly recommend. We used the main restaurants for our breakfasts; typical buffet spreads with the option to purchase additional speciality coffees if cafetière doesn’t float your boat. There were a choice of additional fresh hot orders from the kitchen included in breakfast (porridge, Eggs Benedict, Kippers, Smashed Avocado etc) but we didn’t try these as the buffet spread suited us very well. Lovely fresh pastries, fresh juices, and a well-cooked English breakfast buffet. We did not use the spa facilities on this occasion but they looked lovely. Nice touch: the hotel called us after we booked to explain they had a function event on the Saturday evening that would involve music until midnight, and offered us the chance to change rooms. As we were planning to be out elsewhere that evening, I did not choose this option, but as it was the music did not disturb my sleep when I returned at 11pm anyway. Car parking easy, free and close to front door.

Very good, helpful, check in. Hotel is well designed - I particularly liked the seating areas along the main corridor. Hotel and room kept clean. Bed comfortable. Lovely view from room balcony overlooking the garden. Bath with shower over. Shower curtain rather than glass panel, which surprised me as the bathroom was quite modern. Breakfast was plentiful and good, with full English breakfast buffet (help yourself), cereals, pastries, toast, etc. All self service. But can also have other made to order items from menu, such as porridge, kippers and eggs Benedict. Only comment would be that it took two of us to get orange juice by tipping the glass urn while levering the tap; and the small bowl of yogurt hadn't been replenished. Plus our order for tea/coffee was taken partway through breakfast. Didn't use the spa so cannot comment. Relaxing overnight stay, unrushed. Thank you.

Lovely hotel with easy parking in attractive, well-kept grounds. Polite and helpful staff. Very spacious and comfortable room with plenty of quality coffee and tea supplied. Good breakfast buffet and tasty light meals available at lunch time. Pleasant swimming pool, although the water was rather cold and there's an extra charge for bath robes. Some parts of the dining area are poorly lit in the evenings and seats in the bar area can be reserved without any start time - we noticed a bar sofa where we would have liked to sit empty for 2 hours with a 'reserved' notice on it. No-one had come by the time we left.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food in the restaurant both for a light snack and then breakfast the next day was very good. The manager was there on arrival and was very friendly and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and bigger than expected as I had booked a single room. Parking can be a bit hit and miss but there was a wedding happening at the hotel that weekend and there are on the road spaces a couple of streets back - the staff were very helpful with directing where to go. I would definitely recommend staying here as it is very good value for money, welcoming and comfortable and a short taxi ride from Norwich.

This was our first visit to The George Hotel and it will certainly not be the last. The feel good factor when walking through the front door and being greeted by reception only got better throughout our stay. We were bowled over by the genuinely friendly team who all provided a great service. The purpose of our visit was a trip to the theatre which we thought we would combine with a relaxing overnight stay. It was a twenty minute walk to the theatre from the hotel so ideal for us as we like to walk. Our room was very comfortable and it was bonus to be told on arrival that our room had been upgraded. We ate in the restaurant prior to going to the theatre and were very well looked after by the exceptional Ryan and we very much enjoyed our meal. The girls at breakfast provided a great service too and we enjoyed a well cooked, nicely presented tasty breakfast. Next time we visit Norwich for a theatre visit we will certainly look to book at the George once again. Thank to everyone for making our stay special !

We chose this hotel as it was ideally located close to the University for my daughter’s graduation. On arrival there was plenty of room in the car park and we checked in quickly. The room was spotless, clean and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable with crisp bed linen. The bathroom was a good size with good quality towels and toiletries. We met with family in the bistro for a wonderful meal. The food was delicious, we all had different choices from the menu and everything was perfectly cooked and presented. I can’t remember the last time I have eaten such a tasty meal in a restaurant! Breakfast was equally as delicious the next morning. Well done to all the staff, the hotel is spotless and a pleasure to stay in. I hope to return in the future.

We arrived at the hotel in the early evening on a Saturday, plenty of parking although car park was busier than expected probably due to the adjoining restaurant. We’d completed check in details online so quick and easy process. The place is like a tardis… lots of corridors and doors to go through to find your room, but luckily, pretty clearly signposted! The room was cosy and decorated in a nice simple and modern way, nothing fancy but doesn’t appear dated. Kettle provided with ample tea/coffee and proper sized mugs! Decent size wall mounted TV. Bed was super comfortable as were the pillows. Plenty of towels and some complimentary toiletries provided, plus everything was properly clean. Our stay included breakfast, which was served in the restaurant. Perfect way to start the day, before checking out and heading to Carrow Road to watch our team (QPR). The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting Norwich city and surrounding areas.

I visited for 2 nights and was incredibly impressed. We arrived early and our room was ready. The room was situated at the back of the hotel. The room was very well decorated and plenty of storage and plug sockets. We had tea and coffee facilities in the room and needed decaf tea. There was none in the room although the staff were so accommodating and got some from the bar for us on a couple of occasions. The reception was also helpful providing extra supplies for us. The staff were all very welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much effort for any of the staff. The breakfast was excellent and plenty of choices. We opted for the norfolk breakfast and did ask to not have some of the options. This was no issue. The restaurant was lovely and calm and plenty of room between tables. The service was very quick. We ate in the evening and the food was excellent and great menu. The car park was a real bonus for us so we could walk into Norwich. All in all it was superb.

Even at the booking process it was clear the staff were engaged and interested and did their best to get me the room I wanted. Nice hotel made out of an old house with outbuildings and a lovely garden. We had a ground floor room with a jacuzzi bath. All very comfortable and clean. Drink in the evening in the garden very pleasant and breakfast good and fresh and friendly service. All good, would recommend and would stay again.

Location was good . Nice quiet area. Our room was in the coach house which is very welcoming. A comfortable , clean room with modern bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities, wall safe, comfy bed, comfy chairs and desk. Breakfast in the conservatory in the main part of the hotel was good too. Staff friendly and helpful.

Romantic pre-Christmas vacation CHECK! What a lovely hotel this is. Me and partner were given a great deal and we're so glad we took it. This hotel is about 7 minutes from the train station by taxi. When you arrive you will be pleasantly surprised. It's a lovely looking hotel just outside of the center (which you can walk in less than 10 minutes) and although the reception area isn't great, the rest of the hotel (especially the bar and reading room) are really nicely furnished and comfortable 😀 Included in our deal (not everyone will get this) was a suite which was on the ground floor and it was fantastic. Tastefully furnished and clean (like you wouldn't believe) we were really impressed. We had breakfast included with waitress service. The breakfast was much better than your average hotel buffet breakfast. Service was good, food was good (although we ate out for dinner so didn't try the evening meal) hotel was lovely and warm and comfortable and clean. It was a great stay. If you travel to Norwich I would recommend this as an option to stay for sure if the walk into town centre doesn't phase you. Oh! The Christmas decorations were a thing of beauty. Whoever was responsible really went waaay over the top but it was great 👍

All staff welcoming, friendly & helpful. Clean, comfortable & spacious room. Plenty of storage, good refreshment tray with selection of tea, coffee & biscuits. Very good breakfast. Dinner available in the evening but we didn’t take advantage of that. Bar & lounge available for guests. Free parking Great location for walking into town or theatre.

On arrival you think you’re staying in a private house. The hotel has 3 buildings with a bar , restaurant and lovely garden. Our room was a good size with a couple of chairs to sit on. Shower gel and shampoo provided and tea and coffee facilities. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choice and gardens where we enjoyed a drink by the pond before going into Norwich. Excellent staff all very friendly and welcoming. Great location as a 10 min walk to town which meant it was quiet. Plenty of parking for £5 a day.

We wanted to treat ourselves, and we were not disappointed at all. All the staff were friendly and helpful. From the very friendly and kind, member of staff at reception, ( I apologise if you were a manager ) who even though we were an hour early for booking in, and we said we would have a coffee first, ran upstairs to check out room was ready. Thank you. We loved afternoon tea, beautiful food, coffee, atmosphere and service from the young waiter. Thank you, you made our visit amazing. Our room was beautiful and spacious, soooo comfy, the bed was the best I had slept in and chilled out on. Sooooo peaceful. The rainfall shower was the best shower I have ever had, I love a rainfall shower and this had the pressure and range of temperatures too. Sooo refreshed from that shower. The breakfast and service was as good too. Thank you for a memorable experience, we will be back again. Beautiful scenery around too.

Stopped here for one night while travelling for work. The location is very quiet, but also well connected, it strikes a perfect balance of peaceful, but there’s also a large superstore 5 mins drive away. Staff were very friendly and helpful, I was always met with a smile and “how are you?” The bar was reasonably well stocked with a few beers on tap and a great wine and spirit selection. The room was comfortable and well equipped, the only thing missing was a fridge. The bed was comfortable and I had a great nights sleep. The en-suite bathroom had a bath which was perfect for relaxing, it was an actual bath that fills with enough water to submerge yourself rather than most hotel baths which are little more than deep shower trays. Overall a perfect overnight stay, nothing that I would’ve changed.

The breakfast was superb.. you could have tea/coffee, yoghurt & fruit, cereals, pastries, and fabulous cooked breakfast. Excellent service, staff are so friendly, professional & helpful. The room was spacious, quiet, quality. The bed was comfortable. The view from the room was superb. The best.

Staff were professional and friendly. The rooms were well furnished and felt very welcoming. Our pre-dinner drink in one of the two comfortable reception rooms was served by the pleasant bar staff. Dinner was excellent, beautifully presented and tasty with good portions. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented with plenty of tea, coffee and toast.

Very nice hotel, set in charming grounds only a short hop from the Norwich ring road and easily accessible if travelling on business. Very spacious room, spotlessly clean, with a massive bathroom, and comfy bed. Lovely friendly staff on reception and in the restaurant/bar, and a very good breakfast experience. The eggs benedict was particularly good. Refurbished communal areas and lounges have excellent decor, and it would make for a lovely location for a break as a couple or for a romantic getaway if paired with the fine dining experience on offer. Ideal for a relaxing stay as whisper quiet once everyone has gone to bed. Even the bits I thought could be improved are nitpicking as the hotel is aiming for a really high standard, and is almost there. I will be staying again.

the Wayford Bridge Inn is a jewell in the heart of Norfolk, Nick and his fantastic team are a credit to hospitality, really warm and welcoming and lots of fun. our room was spotless and spacious, big comfy bed, lots of tea, coffee and lush biscuits, bathroom quite big and very clean, lovely veiw from our window. tasty hot breakfasts, restaurant dinners excellent with good choice of meals and plentiful, the bar well stocked ( you have to try the Midway ), the patio area to relax on was very clean and gets lots of sun.the Wayford is in a great location for getting on the Broads, to Cromer, Norwich and Great Yarmouth, trains fares are good prices and are regular, Wroxham is a really nice place to chill and is 10 mins down the road. we had a fabulous week at the hotel, thank you Nick and team for making our stay thoroughly enjoyable, we hope to come back soon, just wish we lived nearer.

Breakfast was delightful! The choice of dishes was excellent, and the servings were more than ample, ensuring we started our day energized and satisfied. The staff's cheerful and attentive service added to the positive experience. Overall, it was a great way to kickstart our day. Dinner was equally wonderful! The dinner menu offered a fantastic selection, and the portions were generous, leaving us completely satisfied. The staff's cheerful and attentive service enhanced the overall dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal. Our room was truly delightful! It was tastefully decorated and exceptionally comfortable, providing us with a cozy retreat during our stay. The attention to detail and amenities in the room exceeded our expectations. The cheerful and helpful staff made sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Overall, the quiet and chilled lounging areas were the highlight of our visit were we met other members of our family during our stay.

A first class experience from the beginning. Check in was easy and the staff were very professional and welcoming. Lovely large room with a comfy bed and everything you need for a relaxing stay. Breakfast was top quality and cooked to order. An ideal location for visiting the beach, broads or local towns and right by the river. It is by a busy main road although after being out all day, I had a peaceful sleep and the traffic noise soon faded away.

We where in a room that overlooked the carpark and a small lake. The hotel is directly off the main road but we didnt experience any problems with road noise. The room was clean with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean with a large walk in shower. The hot water did run out while I was having an afternoon shower on one day. Toiletries, steam iron and hair dryer are provided. Ample tea and coffe provided. The room door had a proper key so no electronics problems. We where asked whether we needed the room cleaning every day as we went to breakfast. The breakfast was good with a range of cooked options. (Veggy sausage was inedable though). All of the staff here are excellent. Friendly courtious and very helpfull. We have an evening meal on most evenings and the food is excellent. Well prepaired and high quality. They do serve a first class steak. You definatly need a car staying here but it is in an excellent location to reach the coastal towns. We enjoyed Cromer more than our visit to Great Yarmouth. Its got moore of a, seaside town feel to it. Wroxham is a good starting point for a trip on the broads but has very little else to offer. Try the narrow guage Bure Valley Railway or checkout, Wroxham Miniature Worlds. The National Trust, Blinkling Estate is also worth a visit. We had planned on booking a self catering place but had a last minute change of mind and where pleasantly suprised.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the bar area was inviting and comfortable and the rooms were very clean We had dinner in the restaurant, the food choices on the menu were excellent, it was well presented and the staff were brilliant. The breakfast was very good.

Great parking area. Fantastic welcome by staff when we arrived. Gave a sheet to preorder breakfast and the time you wanted breakfast. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Room was lovely clean and had tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Hairdryer in the draw. Bar & restaurant area lovely and choice of drinks cocktails etc. Breakfast was lovely help yourself to juice tea & coffee. Cereals, yogurts, jam's etc. You can have full english scrambled eggs on toast, bacon, or sausage baggette. Choice of bread for toast. We ate in the restaurant one night and the food was fantastic. Hot, tasty and well presented. We had the homemade lasagne this came with salad garlic ciabatta a pot of coleslaw and the beef fillet which melted in your mouth. Will be staying again thats for sure.

the bed was amazingly comfortable and waking to an amazing breakfast. The bar and outside areas looked amazing and relaxing environment. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful..Just a shame we never got to enjoy the bar or garden because a long journey and a comfy bed and we slept all night. It was a good sized room and plenty of facilities.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival, All staff were very polite and professional, from check in, to bar and breakfast personnel, Our room was spacious, comfortable, warm, and stocked with tea,coffee and bottled water . The bar area was very pleasant, and had a good choice of local ales. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best we’ve had for a while.

Service was great, check in at bar easy. We were in a double room at the back as we had a couple of dogs. The room was clean, quite tired in general but had everything we needed, even a little fridge with bottled water provided, nice touch! Was quite a warm weekend and luckily brought an electric fan. The Inn is next to a busy main road so would not have been able to have bedroom window open. The bed was quite small and uncomfortable for two people, the room and bathroom are a good size though. We ate in the restaurant and the food was superb, quite expensive though (£15 for scampi and chips) service great and efficient. We had breakfast included with stay where you made your choice the day before and again the food was delicious and cooked very well, even had veggie sausages (maybe good to put that on the menu when making choices as I had to ask). Very dog friendly throughout the building, we were able to bring dogs to dinner and breakfast. Only downside is there are no walks on the door step, so a few rounds of the car park for bedtime/morning toilet breaks!

We had an exceptional stay at the Marsham Arms! All the staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful.The room was like home from home, very clean, nice quality furniture and furnishings. We had the best nights sleep after the most delicious cooked meal from their menu which had something for all tastes...and the breakfast was oustanding too! I think its safe to say we would rate our stay as 5☆ and highly recommended. Thankyou to everyone at Marsham Arms.

From the start we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful host who helped us with luggage from the car and up to the top floor. The room was warm and comfortable with everything we needed. Bathroom very clean and well appointed. The house itself is lovely and full of character. Breakfast was tasty, hot and plentiful and served by very pleasant staff. Although there is no restaurant there are pubs a short drive away which serve tasty and reasonably priced food. Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed for refurbishment so can't comment on that.

I had put in my booking that I would be late, they phoned me at the time I'd said I'd arrive the lady explained that check in ends at 20.30 and I now knew I wouldn't arrive until nearly midnight, she said she would wait and it wasn't a problem,. When I arrived I apologised, she (Katrina) could not have been nicer, she also explained that they had messaged me through booking.com ( I can't see where messages are on the app) anyway there was a problem with what I wanted but they offered an alternative and could not have been anymore helpful, the room was clean and tidy, bed was very comfy, I got good nights sleep, the view next morning looking out was beautiful. in fact everywhere I could see was amazing countryside, breakfast was tasty and all freshly prepared, ( no hotplates being used to keep it warm) there is a choice of full English, croissants, cereal, yogurt and fruit.

We liked the spacious room we also had a small sitting area in the room which was great to relax and watch the tv without having to sit on the bed! Noted in other reviews about extension leads lying around causing problems- we saw absolutely nothing to worry us and the ones we did see had all been Pat tested! We also liked the peaceful grounds no problems with parking at all on any of the days we were there. Staff were amazing and extremely helpful and friendly always had time to chat about places to visit locally,breakfast was cooked fresh every morning and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. We would definitely recommend visiting Mangreen and we would stay again if back in the area.

Really helpful staff, booking in was a very easy process, and we had a choice of room. The room was large and quirky, with very comfy chairs and comfortable bed. Wi-Fi worked well, and the water in the shower was hot and powerful. Water and tea and coffee available, as was a hairdryer. Breakfast was well cooked and delicious.
