Staff were really friendly and helpful. Jacuzzi was a good temp for the weather. Inside the lodge was comfortable and homie. Really lovely stay ❤️

Staff were friendly, Rooms were clean and already had the jacuzzi nice and warm for when we arrived, catered to our needs and told us we could bring a travel cot for the little one.

Great location. Not far from home but surrounded by countryside. Cabin was warm and comfortable with everything we needed for our weekend, and of course the hottub was great for relaxing. Will definitely be back.

The fact that the room had been set up for valentines was also a nice extra. Plenty of tea and coffee provided also! We will definitely come back and stay again.

We treated ourselves to a 2 night stay for our second anniversary here. We were in the plucking room. It was beautiful and clean. A gorgeous shower room and separate kitchen/ dressing room. We also had an outside decked area with a huge hot tub which we made the most of. Bathrobes, slippers and extra towels were provided. There was fresh bread, eggs, milk and orange just to enjoy. As well as freshly made breakfast bars, biscuits and cake. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be coming back.

Liz was super friendly, the place is looking amazing. Bed is very comfy and the hot tub was perfect. By the time we arrived it was ready to use for us . Breakfast super nice especially the butter! We had plenty of towels and also spa slippers were provided with mini toiletries. Highly recommend!

I stayed in the Penthouse Suite which was beautiful, and even had twice surprises that weren't advertised like a microwave and an area with a sink, along with a mirror TV above the Jacuzzi in the bathroom, unfortunately said mirror tv had problems which was looked at and fixed then the same thing happened as before so I decided to leave it, the rest of the place was great, lovely window views, comfortable bed, great shower and the awesome Jacuzzi

What a beautiful hotel...the decor is gorgeous so relaxing...the staff so helpful and wonderful . The breakfast menu was delicious.....the room was perfect...the bed was so comfortable I had a great night sleep and the house keeping was so friendly and helpful taking care of the room... Room Clean and good size rooms. Enjoyed the complimentary coffee pods with coffee machine and the relaxing sleep spray. Great breakfast, catered for us as vegetarians and cooked us fresh sausages. Kids loved the variety at breakfast with cooked breakfast, cereals, muffins and smoothies.

I stayed here recently and really enjoyed it. The location is excellent—right across from Nottingham Castle, yet surprisingly quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and well-kept, with a comfortable bed and a TV for relaxing in the evenings. Staff were helpful and friendly throughout my stay. Would definitely recommend for a city break!

Excellent location. Beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean and attentive, welcoming staff. Beds were comfortable and other facilities great. Despite central location- it wasn’t noisy or crowded either. We booked breakfast on check in and it was lovely- lots of choice, everything was hot and fresh.

This was my second stay at Horsley Lodge - as I had enjoyed my first stay so much. Staff were very helpful and friendly, room was lovely - clean, spacious and comfortable - it was really nice to be able to have a bath rather then just a shower - which seems to be the normal these days. My friends and I had afternoon tea - which was lovely, we also ate in the restaurant in the evening and had breakfast the next morning. The food on each occasion was lovely. Would be very happy to stay again and very happy to recommend.

Spectacularly beautiful grounds. Relaxed vibe. Fabulous food. Super breakfast included. Massive portions and top quality ingredients..Friendly staff. Lots of little extras. Yummy brownie in the room every day. Fab selection of teas, coffees, good quality biscuits and toiletries in the room. Bed super comfy and great pillows too. Very clean and the stylish yet cosy decor made me feel at home. Great communal areas with wonderful views. Chunky chips were the best chips I have ever had!

Lovely place. Rooms were cosy and well decorated. In keeping with the Inn, really cute little accomodation as a separate building to the pub. Quiet so had a good night's sleep. Comfy bed. Dinner was delicious with a good menu to choose from. Breakfast was also lovely and chef happy to make amendments to what was on the menu. Great coffee. Toiletries provided in the bathroom. Soft clean towels and a fridge with complimentary water. Fresh milk provided for rooms. Good selection of tea coffee, etc.and biscuits! Really friendly staff and a great pub with a good atmosphere.

An old-fashioned cosy pub with an excellent range of tasty breakfast choices. Comfortable and clean dog-friendly accommodation, all within easy reach of Loughborough and the M1, but in a quiet village location. Friendly service and tasty dinner menu also.

The room was newly refurbished and was lovely. Very comfortable bed, tea, and coffee, including a coffee machine and homemade biscuits. Nice shower, and nice large towels. We had an evening meal which was very tasty, good quality, not cheap but delicious. Staff friendly. Breakfast was also good, included in the room rate, which was the small breakfast. Great, that check out and breakfast was 11 am very relaxed. The pub has a lovely outside seating area.

Lovely welcome . Given key to room 3. Room was tastefully furnished. Tea coffee water and orange juice. Lovely toiletries supplied along with fluffy towells. Bed was spacious and very comfortable. The whole place was nice and clean. Dinner was nice and staff so helpful and friendly. Good selection of wines and beers. There was a quiz night on which occurs every monday. We joined in and had a great time. Great atmosphere and friendly crowd made it a night to remember. Breakfast was gorgeous Ian is a great cook and Suzanne a lovely hostess. We will definitely be staying again !

The Falcon Inn nestled in the village of Long Whatton was a gem of a place to stay. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, the room was superbly finished, very comfy bed and lovely walk-in shower. The atmosphere in the pub was friendly and relaxed. The shepherd’s pie made with the local organic lamb was absolutely delicious. The attentive and friendly staff and food at Breakfast the next morning was a great start to the day. It was an overnight stop but we would have willingly stayed longer!

This place was amazing! The staff were so helpful & all had smiles on their faces constantly. Nothing was too much trouble. The kitchen facilities were brilliant, had everything you could need if you were cooking for yourself(I only used the kettle, coffee & milk.) Although they don't offer breakfast, which didn't bother me in the slightest, as there are plenty of delicious eateries in the city centre. What you do get each morning are free croissants & hot drinks. You can either take them back to your room or grab & go. The rooms are spacious with a large comfortable bed & a small sofa. Bathroom was clean & also extremely spacious with a lovely large shower. I asked for a quiet room and anything off ground level & I got both. Parking was £10 per night(bargain!) in their own secure underground car park, however it's on a first come first serve basis but there's a 24hr car park right next door if you need one. An extremely short walk and you're in the city centre. Great venue next door where we watched a couple of decent bands.

The rooms were well appointed, clean, modern and comfortable. My husband was impressed. Loved the free grab and go coffee and croissants in the morning. Very fresh and very nice. We stayed for the night after a gig. Was fabulous. Slept well. Bed comfy, kitchenette well equipped. I felt I could stay for a week and be comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful

Looking back after traveling for ten days in UK and sleeping every night at different place..this was the cleanest accommodation of all. Comfortable, clean, modern. The room had a small but well-equipped kitchenette, and everything was spotlessly clean. It was spacious and comfortable. Plus, there’s coffee, tea, and other hot drinks available all day at the reception area. In the morning, you can help yourself to a croissant. There’s also a small food shop by the reception where you can buy snacks and light refreshments. Parking cost £10 per day in the hotel’s private car park, and we were allowed to leave the car there a bit longer after check-out. The staff were very kind and helpful. Great location close to the city centre.

The hotel's reception staff were friendly and helpful, making for an easy and straightforward check-in/out. Check-in and out were as described at booking, with secure parking available straight away and for a bit after check-out to allow for us to wander around the city post-breakfast. Room was simple but immaculately clean, with convenient coffee and tea facilities available in the room. In the morning, a good coffee machine and pastries are down in the lobby for a pre-breakfast bite. Despite the hotel being right next door to a night club, with windows closed and air con running it was a peaceful night's sleep. Super blackout curtains helped sleep well. Would definitely stay again!

Possibly the best value "standard" room I have ever stayed in in the UK. Full kitchen facilities and utensils , good sized room, quiet and clean. Walkable distance to shops and tourist areas. No restaurant or breakfast (but free croissants in lobby daily) - but guests can cook their own in the room kitchen. I would certainly recommend the Chai Yo Thai restaurant at 2 Parliament Terrace - best Thai I've had in years.

Room was clean and comfortable with beautiful views over garden and further out over the city. Staff were low key but always available to help if needed. Location was perfect - only a short walk to city centre, but felt quiet and just off the beaten track. Breakfast was great - huge selection served quietly and efficiently in bright friendly restaurant. Highly recommend Hart’s Hotel.

The whole stay was absolutely amazing, from all the staff at reception to the chamber service everyone was so friendly and polite. The room was amazing so clean and comfortable and bathroom was so nice too. We stayed for breakfast which was fresh and delicious. The overall hotel was outstanding 5 stars

Hart’s Hotel in Nottingham is a comfortable, clean, welcoming hotel in the centre of Nottingham. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the gentleman on night duty, I think his name is Simon. Parking is available at the back of the hotel, by arrangement with the desk staff. The hotel’s views over Nottingham are amazing and the ground floor rooms have direct access to the garden. It is a wonderful hotel.

Rachael on reception was so upbeat and friendly,she made me feel comfortable and happy from the moment I walked in. The location was superb set in park grounds,with amazing views of the city.The hotel is so clean and tidy,it has a nice feel about it. The bar area is warm and cosy. Good secure car parking with easy access into the hotel. The location is excellent for major attractions. The town square is only 5 minutes walk,the castle is literally on the door step

This Hotel was great! Staff were very professional & efficient. Bedroom was very well equipped with a very comfortable, large bed. Walk in shower & toiletries were really good. Lots included in the room - Nespresso Coffee Machine, Kettle, Biscuits, Bottles of water. Large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space & drawers, Security Safe, Towelling Robes & Slippers, Ironing Board & Iron. Food in the restaurant was lovely & so was the plentiful buffet breakfast. Very nice Bar Area with plenty of seating/tables including some booth seats/tables with plug sockets. Free Parking with plenty of space was very good, with quick walking access to the front of the hotel.

This is a superb hotel. The location was perfect or us as we were visiting the university. We ate in the hotel bar during the evening of our stay and the food was top notch, as was the breakfast. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel in general was clean, fresh and welcoming. Our room was cool after a very hot day, comfortable and well equipped. An added bonus was being able to use the nearby sporting facilities for a swim.

In University grounds close to Wollaton Hall and Nottingham . In a very nice setting ,Hotel is modern with large bar area and plenty of seating and a restaurant. All staff were friendly ,welcoming and helpful . Our twin room was clean ,comfortable with large bathroom and walk.in shower .

The hotel is set in the beautiful grounds of the University campus with lots of walks and plenty of parking. The foyer and bar area has lots of comfortable seating available. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a good buffet breakfast. The room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. I would definitely recommend staying here again.

Clean and modern with a friendly, sociable atmosphere. We enjoyed an overnight stay including dinner and breakfast on our way back to Hampshire from Lindisfarne. Easy to find and good on-site parking facility.. Large comfortable room with good facilities, including tea, biscuits etc. The food for the evening meal was excellent. Beautiful presentation as well as delicious! Theo served us very well. Breakfast was a mixed bag, I enjoyed the‘healthy’ options available.

The 2 bedroom apartment was extremely spacious and clean. There are two bathrooms which was perfect for us as 4 female friends. The apartment was warm which was appreciated on a cold February day/night. The reception staff David and Millie, were extremely friendly and helpful going out of there way to answer our questions and provide recommendations for eating. There was secure parking for our friend who traveled by car. Beds were comfy, toiletries provided smelt lovely, fresh milk in the fridge. Good location for walking into the city but on a relatively quiet street so little traffic noise.

Apartment had everything we needed for our 2 night stay but easily would have been perfect for an extended stay as well. Loved the modern small kitchen and living area and separate bedroom. Beautiful large windows opened up on the town and beautiful tree. Apartment was very clean. Easy walk to eating places but situated in a quiet, safe and peaceful neighborhood. Check in staff are super friendly and helpful!

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and quiet. I even did laundry here. The SACO team were friendly and helpful, and gave us ideas for our next stay. Beware, if you're driving, someone to stay in the car, until your parking gets sorted. The local council will book you for illegal parking at all hours! We got booked. But the SACO reception people were very generous and allowed us to park, no fee. Restaurants are close, and Nottingham Castle and Robin Hood statue are only a few minutes walk too. Definitely recommend staying here. Comfortable and good sized apartment with parking.

Booked a 1-Bedroom apartment for my family's 6-night stay back in October last year, upon arriving we were told that the only lift in the complex was out of order. Since my mum has mobility issues and struggles with walking up and down stairs, the reception staff upgraded us to a 2-bedroom apartment at check-in and politely apologised for the inconvenience caused. During our stay, the staff were very helpful and kept us posted of when we would expect the lift to be repaired. The 2-bedroom unit was very clean and spacious, with fully equipped kitchen and two bathroom with great amenities. Beds were also very comfortable. It was so nice that we could open our windows to get fresh air. Location of the apartment is excellent, with the City Centre only a 10 - 15 minutes' walk away from there. Overall we greatly enjoyed our stay at SACO and would definitely return on our next visit. Would also recommend this to anyone visiting Nottingham. Thank you so much!

Millie was our receptionist when we arrived and she was so welcoming and helpful… I was most impressed that we were only in our room 10 mins when she messaged saying she has dog bowls in case we needed them ? … low and behold I forgot the dog bowls !! So that was amazing 🤩 The room has absolutely everything you could possibly need . Very clean and very comfortable bed ( they even put a fab dog bed in for our boys ) The location is a short walk from city centre and is surprisingly quiet. We’ll definitely be returning as for the price for a whole apartment is very competitive compared to a lot of hotels we looked at .

We were guests at a wedding on Friday 5th September so booked a suite. My expectations were very low as previous weddings I've been to delivery very little and are usually a half hearted attempt by inexperienced staff. Not this place though. I checked in and expected to have my room ready at 3pm but no, room was available at 9am. The suite was stunning...massive modern comfy 4 poster bed,seating area, beautiful balcony overlooking the greens and gorgeous bathroom with enormous bath and incredibly clean and fully functioning separate shower. 2 Giant fluffy cotton bathrobes were provided (didn't even have to request the 2nd one) Anyway onto the wedding. The day was perfect and run with military precision by the most accomplished coordinator who kept things running with amazing efficiency. The food was a delight, baked Camembert,roast chicken breast and baked cheesecake all served fresh. The serving staff were so professional and discreet. In conclusion this place has got it spot on and should be an example of how to run a successful venue.

Have had an excellent stay and couldn’t rate our overall weekend highly enough. All staff in every from golf hotel and restaurant areas were polite professional friendly and attentive. Clearly the owner has high expectations of his staff and trained them very well and every single person we interacted with was a credit to this . The small things make a HUGE difference such as our golf buggy at each course being ready and waiting for us. A birthday card given to my husband in the restaurant along with 5star service taking our order and picking the dishes down in front of us without asking “who ordered the …..” and at the towers cafe I was expecting a takeaway cup of tea but so pleasantly surprised when I was told to take a seat and drinks were bought to us in beautiful cups etc. it really is the little things that make it exceptional We can’t wait to return to play more golf, eat delicious food, and stay in comfortable clean and well equipped rooms. Thank you

My husband and I stayed at Morley Hayes to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we had such a lovely time. The lady on reception was so friendly and she upgraded our room when we checked in and booked us a table at the Roosters Bar for the evening. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfy, and the views were beautiful. We paid a bit extra to have breakfast brought up to the room and it was definitely worth it! Really tasty. The only small downside was that Roosters was really busy, and it took over 40 minutes before we managed to order dessert after our main. My husband had to get someone’s attention in the end as no one came over. Other than that, everything was perfect. The hotel is gorgeous, the staff are lovely, and we’d definitely stay again. Five stars from us! 🌟

From the very first moment of stepping into reception we were greeted with a professional and personable welcome. The rooms were spacious immaculately presented and the bed marshmallow comfortable (perfect for us). Everything you needed was accessible in your room including the choice of room service. We were at a celebration with friends and the venue again didn’t disappoint. Beautifully decorated, delicious food and cake and fabulous service from both the waiting staff and bar staff. Breakfast was delicious, (evidently good products used), cooked superbly and well presented. The staff were on point with tea and coffee and were delightful. Can honestly say this was great value and worth every penny. Would have no problem recommending friends to stay. Restores your faith in customer service from the hospitality industry, quality and 100% satisfaction

A tremendous stay here at Morley Hayes Hotel. Room 215 with a balcony that overlooks the golf course and one of the tees. Large and spacious room which was clean. Comfortable bed and a quiet nights sleep, although you may get the “pinging” off golfers teeing off early in the morning 😂 Not an unpleasant sound and you can always go to the balcony to give words of encouragement 😉 Staff were courteous, friendly and incredibly helpful with any questions or queries. We will return here again at some point as we had a great weekend here. I think a great addition to the amenities here, would be a Spa with Treatments and pool etc. It would make staying here even more enjoyable.

My family and I had a fantastic stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nottingham - Gateway. The location is excellent, and the hotel is impeccably clean and tidy. The evening reception staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making our arrival smooth and pleasant. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and spotless, ensuring a relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious, offering a wide variety of options, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout. My children were especially happy, which made the experience even more enjoyable for us as a family. We look forward to returning in the future!

The hotel lobby, bar and restaurant were lovely. Well decorated and welcoming. The front desk staff were friendly. The warm cookie upon check-in was a great touch. (I wonder if there are alternatives for guests with specific dietary requirements). My bed was incredibly comfortable, and I loved being able to adjust the room temperature as I tend to run cold. The TV had lots of channels and was quite large... (Though not a problem, I did wonder if it was a little too big.) The bathroom was absolutely stunning! And the shower was just fabulous! Cannot fault the bathroom in any way. I loved all the lighting options in the room. They helped to make it cosy. The room was mostly clean... Breakfast was lovely. If I had a bigger appetite in the morning, I would have had seconds. The host and wait staff were all friendly and welcoming.

We had an amazing experience at DoubleTree by Hilton Nottingham. From the warm cookie welcome to the friendly and professional staff, everything felt first-class. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable — the bed was so cozy, and the bathroom was luxurious with great amenities. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Overall, a perfect blend of comfort, style, and luxury. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nottingham!

I am a Nottm local and booked a three night solo stay to unwind and recharge after a stressful few months. My room size, decor and the facilities were great incl the fridge in the room as I needed this to keep some medication. Shower was amazing, along with the attention to details re small amenities in the room to make my stay more comfortable. My mattress was too firm for me but the manager/house keeping team provided a soft topper once I mentioned this and this made my sleep much better. From the delicious cookie at arrival, lovely breakfast, great bar/restaurant, friendly and helpful staff to the excellent gym I had a brilliant stay!! Would highly recommend staying here for any purpose.

The hotel eas in an excellent, convenient, easy to get to location with very good facilities. The room was very comfortable, clean & pleasantly spacious with a large, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was up to the usual high standard with a good selection of cooked and continental style food. Staff were on hand to serve tea & coffee. The Reception staff were very helpful & friendly and we would like to mention a special "thank you" to Dennis at the Reception desk who made us feel very welcome from the first moment of arrival.

I was looking forward to my stay here & I wasn't disappointed. Check in was a bit slow, but that was due to the volume of people arriving at the hotel at the same time. The lobby area is bright & very welcoming as were the reception staff. My room (231) was very spacious & very comfortable indeed, it came with speedy wi-fi, USB points & coffee making facilities. The room was quite & I enjoyed a great nights sleep. As the restaurant was full I ate in the lobby bar & chose from the restaurant menu - the food was hot & was very tasty (prices are as you would expect in an airport hotel), special mention to Andrew on the bar who gave excellent friendly service. Sadly I didn't have time to use the health club so can't offer a view on that. Next time I'm in this area I will not hestitate to book this hotel.

I booked this because of an early flight and the shuttle service to the airport. Radisson hotels aren't the cheapest to stay in near East Midlands Airport but it was one that offered a swimming pool, restaurant and shuttle service. My room was beautifully furnished - the bathroom was large (see more about that in 'what I didn't like' ) The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. My friend decided to use the swimming pool facility with me which cost £10 (car parking included). The staff were extremely polite, well spoken , friendly and attentive, just one older head waiter(?) (Christos) was a little bit too familiar and loud/abrupt... although he was friendly as well. The shuttle was perfect time for my flight at no extra cost, the driver was professional and thankfully quiet (it was 4am) and now to the negatives ......

Very clean & comfortable. Great shuttle service to airport departures. A special shout out to the staff who were all excellent - friendly, helpful & welcoming. Lovely food in the restaurant & nice touches in reception like free fruit & bowls of sweets. Haven't given 5 stars due to a couple of niggles - no tea/coffee or grab & go breakfast bags if you have an early flight (cereal bars only) & we felt that £12.95 for one glass of wine was shockingly expensive (even for a captive audience!!)

I was staying as a lone traveler and have got to say, I felt welcomed, safe and happy during my stay. The room was so clean and had everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The staff on reception were helpful and considerate, making sure I went the right way and directed me. The runway view was everything I wanted, I enjoyed a nice hot drink and watched the planes land and take off. The swimming pool was warm and clean, very easy to find and lockers available for personal possessions. Didn't use the spa or gym this time but next time I visit I will! The restaurant was great, food was delicious. I had the chicken tikka with naan and rice. Everything was just great. So happy with my time, I was abit nervous being a lone traveller but as soon as I arrived and checked in, that worry went. I can't thank everyone enough! You've given me the confidence to lone travel again.

The room was very spacious and spotless. Dinner was excellent and a great selection and breakfast was again excellent totally replenished and all very fresh and tasty. All staff we encountered were very friendly and professional. Customer Service at its best.

From the moment we arrived the staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. The hotel is a quirky, family run small hotel and great value for money. While there are some areas that could do with a refresh, the room we had was beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable.we dined in the on site Chinese restaurant which was first class and great value, the quantity of the portions defeated us! Relaxing in the remarkable well stocked bar afterwards, again the staff were friendly and attentive, and prices very reasonable. It was so welcoming and comfortable we stayed all evening. Our bed was comfortable and we got a great night's sleep. Breakfast (included)the next morning was lovely, and the most generous portions I have ever had in a hotel, leaving me struggling to eat it all (I managed!) and the bacon, sausages and hash browns were, again, the best I've had in a hotel! I can't praise this place enough, especially at the prices charged!!

Bingham Town House is a great place to stay, all the staff were very nice, Jamie on reception was very helpful, when we asked if we could have breakfast a bit earlier. Our double room was very clean, with a comfortable bed, there is a place to put your bag/case, tea and coffee with delicious biscuits, plus a jug to fill from the water cooler just outside the room, the shower in the bathroom was good. As the weather was hot, there was a fan in the room which was very useful . A large selection of breakfast cereals, jam's and marmalades, plus yogurts and pastries, there is also a varied cooked selection, along with toast and porridge. The lady serving breakfast was very attentive and nice. We ate in the Yeung Sing Restaurant on the Friday evening which was excellant, our server was very knowledgable and advised us on portion sizes, the decoration in the restaurant is very bright and cheerful. There is plenty of parking at the rear.

Location was ideal for what we wanted. The room was cosy and the bed comfortable and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served fresh and was delicious. We had a meal in the restaurant on the Sunday at the all you can eat buffet. Food was wonderful. Bar and cocktails great! Will definitely come again.

Lovely, friendly hotel, we very much enjoyed our weekend in Bingham, thanks. The food in the restaurant was delicious, the room was cosy and comfortable, the breakfast was exceptionally good but the main highlight was the incredible staff who were all super nice, friendly and attentive. Very kind and friendly waitress in the restaurant on Friday night with blonde hair and braces, nice young man on the front desk and also in the restaurant/bar, absolutely wonderful Lithuanian lady in charge of breakfasts on Sat and Sun, could not have been nicer - sorry I don't know your names, but thank you all very much!

Arrival - small tight car park limited spaces. Signage indicates for the restaurant rather than for the hotel so at first if unfamiliar with the place, could be confusing. Check in - fast friendly and informative. Room - warm, stylish, inviting and comfortable. Added benefit of a nespresso coffee machine, reading lights in addition to bedside lights, cold water dispenser in hallway. Cocktail menu to be able to get an idea of what can be enjoyed at the hotel. Food- Chinese restaurant, modern, well decorated and friendly staff but they did think I was take out rather than dine despite asking to dine. I explained I was staying at the hotel so then they said I should sit in the lounge area and eat there. The lounge area was nice but not ideal for eating at. Though as a solo traveler I found it more a home from home style than sitting alone in the main restaurant so didn’t mind. The cocktails were great though not as decorated up as described in menu. The food menu didn’t have a huge range but what I had tasted good. Breakfast was fast and good. Checkout smooth. 10/10 would stay again and recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in that area as I’ve stayed in more expensive places that had less to offer.

Staff were great - reception, breakfast and bar. Bed was comfortable! Clean throughout. Very stylish hotel. Good equipment in gym, pool and jacuzzi / ice was lovely, very clean!

The buffet breakfast was lovely as the food was tasty and they had vegetarian option as well. Had a nice swimming pool and jacuzzi. The staff were also friendly and courteous. Will definitely be coning back.

We had a really good stay overall — the staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was great. We especially enjoyed the pool and jacuzzi. The only downside was that on our last night, we could smell someone smoking weed in the adjoining room. Since there was a connecting (locked) door between the rooms, the smell must have come through from there, which was a bit unpleasant and very disappointing. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. It’s something the hotel might want to monitor more closely, but everything else was excellent, and we’d definitely consider staying here again.

The communal areas in this hotel are huge with very high ceilings and a lot of open space. The deck at the back overlooks the water and wildlife which was different and nice. The breakfast was good and the breakfast staff very helpful. Our room was huge, comfortable and clean. No evening restaurants but you can order food and there is a bar that appears out of nowhere. We had pizzas which were delicious. We needed to be near the university so the location of this hotel for us was perfect.

Likes: friendly helpful staff, everywhere is very clean and comfortable, spacious bedrooms, 24-hr staffed reception, free WiFi, free parking, beautiful grounds, eco-friendly policies, breakfasts are very good, walking distance to Queens Medical Centre, good transport links to Nottingham centre (or only £10 in taxi to Nottingham station/centre). Dislikes: food at the bar could be better but it isn't really a problem because there are a couple of pubs within walking distance, or you can order in a take-away.

Clean, modern, well equipped room. Comfortable large bed, bright bathroom with toiletries. Freshly cooked buffet breakfast with large choice. Friendly, pleasant welcoming staff. Peaceful location.

Easy to park, very comfortable bed and facilities in the room were great. Fantastic choices at the breakfast buffet, with either fruit, yoghurt, granola choices, cereals, cooked breakfast, pastries, cheese and sliced meats, or toast with jam, honey or marmalade. There is also a bar near the reception and a coffee machine with good quality coffee. The area was quiet, although there didn't seem to be any conferences at the time I was staying, which was also during half-term time. The hotel was set in next to a very attractive lake with ducks, geese and moorhens.

I attend at the university so this hotel is perfect for me. I requested a specific room which I had been allocated to on a previous stay and it was granted. The room was large, big comfy bed, lovely view over the lake, warm with great facilities such as an iron, hair dryer and coffee maker. All this for £65! Considering I was a solo traveller, I was so impressed that this ‘family room’ had been allocated to me. Only stayed one night but made my stay so much more comfortable and relaxing after a stressful day at university.

It was very comfortable. Very central with lots of shops and bars around. Facilities impeccable, clean and very cosy. Terrace was such an amazing place to have breakfast in the sun.

The location and how modern and well equipped the apartment was. The help received when we could not complete our check in online. Very fast and helpful response. It is all managed online and with a passcode. The apartments are lovely and you can find everything you need in them for a few days in Nottingham. We also liked the views from our patio: city views. It is right next to the cathedral and you can walk everywhere. There is parking about 2m away from this location, but it is expensive. We took the car with us most of the time, as we were exploring the city's surroundings, but bare in mind there is no parking in the street from 8:00 until 20:00. A lovely Indian restaurant can be found just opposite the apartments and also the Pitcher and Piano bar was quite a hit (in the old church). Our apartment was clean and perfect for our two night stay with two children.

Beautiful, spacious suite which was very clean. As I was on a work trip, it was the perfect space to work, relax and sleep. The cute little balcony on the warm summer night was a lovely bonus. Great location - I walked from the centre of town within 10 minutes and could easily walk to the train station too (about 10 min walk). Took me a minute to find, as it's got a slightly unusual entrance, but the welcome email gives you a lot of detail so I was able to find the entrance. Despite being so close to a pub, it was quiet and peaceful inside. I booked very last minute, so had slight issues getting into my room. However, when I rang the team, they answered immediately and were able to help me straight away. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

I stayed mid-week and likely during exam period for students, so had the benefit of a quiet stay. The room exceeded expectations, particularly as I know of others staying during the same period, who paid significantly higher for very basic accommodation. Room was exceptionally clean, well styled, bed was comfy and the room was peaceful. Close to restaurants and bars and easy to access.
